What has been the impact of the Grams search engine

I am wondering what has been the impact of the Grams search engine. Has it helped in searching ?

In all honesty I logged on once and didntreally find it helpful at all. Things might have changed becuase that was when it first came out.

Helix on the other hand is astounding. Superb programming and awesome tumbler. Cant beat it.

I think it's fantastic. It is vastly underutilized.

Sometimes out of curiosity, I run a search on the questions we get on the sub.

OP: "Errrrhmahherrdd I have looked everywhere and I can't find a vendor selling xyz. Nobody has it! Please someone helppppp!"

run grams search

Returns 18 results for exactly that.

Grams impresses the hell out of me for all the little things he works on to makes markets more usable. The engine is truly impressive and he really does work toward giving people what they want. I believe a lot of vendors have at least a few customers who discovered them via GS. I hadn't thought about your question before but you have a good point. I believe it has had an impact.

With around 10,000 searches and 6,000 unique visitors a day. I think more than a few people find it helpful. :-)

Of course it helps. It allows you to find where a certain vendor has set up shop if you can't find them on your own, and it gives you access to all the customer feedback they have all in one place. It really makes things a lot easier when trying to find legit vendors for something and for sniffing out the bad ones as well.

I think it's great and it really should be pushed more on this sub, especially with all of the recent, 'I can't find this' posts.

Grams is a great way to search for a product without having to log into every fucking market (seriously, why can you only browse without logging in alpaca?!) neither having to suffer agora's slowness/downtime.

Absolutely amazing resource.

[1 Points] Throwaway_concept:

The impact is that people don't use it and post dumbass questions here. It needs to be banned from this sub.(The topics of "where to get xanax") etc, not grams. Grams is fucking dope and the guy who made it is awesome.
