[GeneralQuestions] Can't encrypt to particular vendor.

I came across a very weird problem which I can't seem to find an explanation for. I'm using the latest version of GPGtools on a Mac running Yosemite. When i try to encrypt a message to a certain vendor (services -> OpenPGP: encrypt selection) its key just doesn't shows up in the window where i can select a person to encrypt a message to. I came across this comment of a user who experiences the same issue, but i don't really understand the part about subkeys. I didn't knew what to do so i used iGolder (yes i know rookie mistake), to my surprise it just worked fine in iGolder. Can anybody help me?

I'm sure you've already done this, but have you double checked that the key was successfully imported into the GPG Keychain Access program? I can't think of a reason why one of the keys wouldn't show up in that window. Look through the entire list, because I have seen the program occasionally change the order of the keys from alphabetical to something else.

Read the whole message. It says to contact them if you think it got caught by accident. I'm sure one of the mods will approve it for you, if you ask them.

Edit: Are you sure you've done step 6 correctly?
