[Uncategorized] From the eyes of a vendor

These posts keep popping up about vendors not communicating and not shipping. Well guess what, this cycle repeats itself every couple of months as the markets purge themselves through various exit scams and LE take-downs. I find it fucking hilarious reading reddit constantly griping over no communication from large vendors during turbulent times (AG constantly down, BB & Nucleus sucking in general). Here is why they don't respond:

  1. They've got 10-20-30-40-50k tied up in escrow and your order is the least of their concern right now. They're concerned about losing five figures.
  2. You and everyone else is messaging them demanding they ship now or give out tracking numbers (OPSEC no-no)
  3. Less patient people are writing bad reviews on reddit and sending them threats.

As time goes on, the torches and the pitchforks come out screaming at a vendor who just doesn't feel like being homeless next month. If all of their orders were in multi-sig escrow they would be responding and not sweating buckets while pulling their hair out and downing xanax. Buyers put yourselves in the shoes of a vendor with a terrifyingly large escrow balance. Learn how to use multi-sig and go direct with them, almost every vendor knows how to use it, we can end this cycle. I hope I didn't offend anyone, just speaking the truth.

I'm coming down off of ~250mcs of LSD and this post literally made me nauseous thinking about all of the bullshit vendors have to go through from simple minded geeked the fuck out on whatever, fueled by paranoid delusions of crashing markets, bitcoin fallouts, leo coming up thier back door and they baby's momma's cryin' all the way.

Fuckin' A...

My heart goes out to you guys...

I agree with this rant. Dealing with buyers during downtime is absurd. It's like they think they're using ebay.

Buyer: "Hey could you ship my $150 order even though you accepted it through escrow and can't withdraw your funds?"

Vendor: "No. I have canceled your order. Good luck withdrawing your balance."

That's about as much communication I would offer at this time along with a canceled order.

My escrow balance is never very high, because I do actually ship.

Didn't Evolution have 2FA escrow?

The vendors got the money out of escrow - straight into a wallet controlled by Evolution which didn't work.

Much like agora wallets at the moment.

But unlike every other bitcoin wallet in the world, which just work.

This. I actually picked up a pill addiction when Evo was going down. It was so hard at the end of the day, after sending out packages, sourcing, and dealing locally to come back and try to work my way through customer messages that got more and more aggressive. Started downing Norcos every day, at the end of the day to do my customer service without breaking down.

I agree wholeheartedly, too many people quick to take speculation for fact and run with it. USDank had a handful of packs touchdown yesterday but from here on out their reputation is still gonna be tarnished.

multisig causes a lot of problems too, lot more time added on top of preparing packages and checking markets. and all my trades are on the block chain. it should be easier, we need a simple decentralized market that has everything built in.

i haven't had a problem with medium-high volume vendors, rather only with the low volume scoundrels.
