Vendor added to much postage

So I ordered from a popular vendor won't say the name but it came in a flat rate priority evelope. Well it cost 6.45 as stated in usps to mail those. Well he must have made a mistake and added another dollar extra to it. He put 5.75 stamp and a dollar stamp. Isn't that a security risk?

Why would that be a security risk?

I hope your not serious. People have been doing this ever since they fucking started raising rates every other month. Stick $7 on it you are 100% sure. Doubt the vendor needs the change.

while not necessarily a security risk, I do think it's sorta sloppy to overpay by that much. especially cause a $0.71 stamp would have been ideal. maybe he just ran out of those or something though.

in and of itself it's a non-issue, but when coupled with anything else potentially 'off' about the package, could lead to bad things. like having the return zip code differ wildly from the mailing zip, handwritten addresses, or individual-individual mailed stuff.

If You remeber there was i paper with things Ro To raise flag in on packages. One was putting way To much stamps. I mean if it's a business type letter one should think businesses work cost efficient and not waste money that way.

Nevertheless I think it's a very very sma Chance this really raises suspicion.
