I placed an order for 4+ grams of gear from a DM vendor I've used twice in the past with no problem. 8 days after it shipped it was still a no-show so I contacted the vendor who gave me the tracking number and told me it had "landed" 4 days earlier.
I tracked it, and it had been delivered (after bouncing around a few zip codes and being marked "undeliverable as addressed" at one point - but not to me. So ....
I called the USPS and they confirmed the delivery but they were legally prohibited from giving me anything more than a confirmation that the address on their record of delivery did NOT match my address, which I had given them. Anything more had to be obtained from the sender/vendor.
I sent him 3 (reespectful) messages asking to see a copy of my original order or anything else that verifies whether the mistake was mine when I placed the order, or his when he shipped it. I made it clear that I was prepared to pay for it f the fuk up was mine, but that I needed something in the way of proof. He didn't respond to any of these requests - all spaced a couple days apart - but since he'd logged on every day, there's no way he didn't see them.
After a week of this sh*t, I opened a dispute, and the next day mod assigned to the dispute left me a message saying the vendor had been consulted (or whatever the word was) and to 'release the escrow.' The vendor added a follow up to that supplying the same tracking number (which I'd told him a week before was useless) and said that the shipping label matched the order. Nothing else. (These details were stated clearly when i filled out the dispute, so I'm wondering if the Dream mods are even reading these things..)
I shot back that I'm not releasing the escrow on nothing more than the "word" of a meth dealer, any more than I would expect the meth dealer to do likewise on the word of a tweaker (who's not tweaking as much as whoever it was that got my order.)
I gave the mods my shipping info, tracking number, and tracking history along with the customer service # to the USPS - I think that should be enough confirmation that I'm not running a scam of any kind.
Am I being a dick here?
It's possible he got your address wrong, or you got gyped. I'd just try my best to order a smaller amount off him once more(or another vendor)
Sometimes they don't trust you enough to refund or re ship
