First time buyer advice

I have everything prepared, Tails OS on VMware, my bitcoin wallet, the Hansa market. I just needed to know now that do I really need to tumble my money for a couple hundred dollars worth of merchandise? Also, how risky is it to get it delivered at your house in your real name? KInda getting paranoid in the last minute. Any tips will be welcome! Thanks!

Your house, your name=least risk you can take.

Don't even order if you're not gonna do it this way.

Also pick a good vendor, don't ask for a vendor here , just search for your product and reviews will help you decide.

Chill, works fine everyday for many people.

The main chinks in anyone's OPSEC are them babbling to IRLs - keep it close to your chest and you'll be fine. If you get caught worse case scenario shut the fuck UP and get a lawyer.

Having it delivered in your name is the best move. Last week, whenever I had a legitimate priority package (with a new e-cig mod) show up, the post office didn't even attempt to deliver it and instead held it at the post office. Only through checking the tracking did I find out it had been sitting at the post office for two days. I then proceeded to go to the post office, where I had to show my ID to receive the package with my name.

If it had not been in my name, there would have been trouble. If there was something not legitimate inside and not in my name, there'd be big trouble.

Every time anyone places an order, they take a risk. The best you can do is research vendors before placing an order, use escrow whenever possible, and hope that you don't get selectively or exit-scammed. Even the most reputable/top vendors can exit scam.
