Leaked Addresses (followup)

So I got a demand from a vendor that I send $150 to his bitcoin address or he would "release information about my drug activities to the feds." He included a copy of my unencrypted address.

I don't pay, right? Do I ignore, clean house, and hope it goes away? Even with a clean house I would really not like the police poking around since I have roommates and stuff.

Ignore it and clean house. Blackmail is a far more serious crime than simple drug use and minor personal possession. If you're feeling frisky and want to play, tell him all communications between the two of you are being forwarded as unredacted screenshots to the FBI internet crimes division and what he's doing will be handled much more harshly than anything they would ever do to you for buying a little personal stash online every once in a while. Feel free to play hardball here, he's just trying to scare you into sending him a few extra bucks. Why not return the favor and make him shit his pants?

Inform the admins and ignore him. Clean house to be sure but he probably wont do shit. Also start researching your vendors better

Some dealer irl shorted me two grams, and then threatened to 'send friends' to my place, where my family was staying.

I told him to go fuck himself, and called the police. Told them a former coworker was threatening me, and is trying to force drugs on me. Gave them his name, his former employment, everything I knew.

Here's the thing: the man is threatening you. He's entering your comfort zone and trying to fuck it up.

Don't be a cuck.

Name and shame the prick, and provide screenies. He'll lose a lot more than $150.

Say jokes on you. You just sent my address clear text so when the feds take down this market they will already have it. Leverage gone.

I wouldn't reply whatsoever

Never pay blackmail. Ever. He won't do anything. I'd just either not reply at all or reply acknowledgement and remind him blackmail is more serious and you will gladly hand tracking and the pack to LE and he better hope he didn't have a slip and buy postage in the wrong way or ship it unsafely. Don't reply after that. Of course youbwouldnt really hand the pack or shipping info to LE. Just threaten it.

Just tell them go ahead, that you don't even live where you get drops. I hate people like that.
