Transaction not showing up in Electrum Wallet

So I sent $150 to an Electrum wallet using the receieve funds tab on Electrum. I just realized I had only copy and pasted the address, but did not hit save on it. My original wallet says the transaction went through and allowed me to send it to that. I switched over to history to see if the money went through, saw there is only "Replaceable +0", switched back to Receive, and noticed the address was different.

Did I fuck up? Did I really just send $150 to a dead address?

Edit: My wallet continuously says "Synchronizing..." in the bottom left if that means anything.

Try changing servers on electrum and see if that helps sync; let it sit for a while. If it's not synced after a few hours, then you have corrupt headers. You need to upgrade electrum and thats easier said than done on tails. Only way I've gotten around that is to create a VM with windows/linux with VPN and sync it on there. Created a new wallet on tails and transfered it to new wallet from old one.

edit:

try this:

Just give it time

How long has it been? In one rare case I've had a receiving transaction to an electrum wallet take nearly an hour to show up. Have you tried restarting your system, restarting electrum wallet, or using the transaction accelerator on ViaBTC (you need the transaction ID, and can only use this near the top of the hour because they only accept 100 requests per hour).

Electrum fucks up a lot for me too. It drives me crazy.
