Chipzahoy has terrible customer service.

So throughout the years on the markets, I've used a variety of vendors for a variety of purposes, and for this discussion I'll be using a throwaway account just for the security.

I purchased a product from Chipzahoy, and received a message stating that the pack would ship on Monday, which I was happy to hear. He was quick with the first message and I was satisfied with the response. Then, 3 days later, he sent me another message stating that my package would be shipped out with the next shipment. I thought, 'alright at least he is being upfront with me, I can appreciate that.'

But that was all he said. There was no further explanation on the matter, no information about whether he was out of product, or whether he was just unable to ship my package. I wasn't going to message him again and further question him, as I understand vendors are very busy. Without any more communication, I went about my daily life, waited a week, enjoyed Thanksgiving, and here we are today. It's been more than the allotted time for a domestic shipment.

I log in to check my information and lo and behold Chipzahoy has refunded my purchase, and has sent me another message asking me to repurchase my current order. But why?? Without any explanation at all, he assumed I would just repurchase my order. But coin value has changed, and I'm sitting here more than 10 days later expecting something in my mailbox, but instead have to make a new order.

So I sent him a message, I was upset I won't deny that, but you have to understand that when making investments, we are giving our money away to people we never meet. So I was decidedly miffed about the whole thing, told him I wouldn't do business again with someone who couldn't get the pack out the door on the day he said he would. Heck it coulda been shipped 3 days late or longer and I still would have been satisfied.

Instead of apologizing and explaining the situation, he replys; "... If you rely on this so much i would think you would be on the ball and logging in frequently to see if there was any correspondance. Regardless I am glad I've found out what kind of customer you are without any of my product being on it's way to you. I would like to take this chance to advise you to find another vendor. I won't be doing business with you. "

So fine, just so everyone knows what kind of business this guy runs, and what kind of customer service he gives to his customer base.

Is this your first order? I've had multiple orders with him and have been satisfied with his service. Any problems I've had, hes gone and resolved them. What size order were you placing as well?

some of the shadier vendors will do this if the price of btc drops while you have pending orders in with them. it's just a moneygrab. don't fall for it. go somewhere else. this has happened to me several times. and every time, the vendors that have done it to me have never received my re-order, or any future business from me for that matter. don't even waste your time responding to them. if they can't keep their shit together, there are 25 other vendors waiting to take their place in line.

What kind of business DOES he run? You didn't say what you ordered.

Bitcoin has been going UP in price. You've made a profit, he returned your bitcoin with a cancellation.

maybe he thought you were a rival vendor just wanting to give him bad feedback. If he cancelled the order it would prevent the other vendor from leaving bad feedback.

The rival vendor would have to use reddit to sully his name, like somebody is legally bound to sell us drugs if we sound like a wrong 'un..
