What's the catch?

Whilst browsing a few different DarkNetMarkets, I have seen PayPals for sale with a lot more money in than you pay for them. For example $400 for £54 etc.

What is the catch with this?

You have to go through an assload of trouble to get the cash from a stolen paypal into a usable form and it's probably not going to be successful 100% of the time. You will have to figure out a method for yourself or buy one.

As to why anyone would sell them? If you're good at hacking bulk Paypals (e.g steal a database with 1000) why stuff around jumping through hoops trying to cash out a ~$300 Paypal when you can sell 5 for $60 with almost no extra effort.

TL:DR Lurk moar.

If they are verified could you not dump the funds on to Virwox and buy BTC?

the catch is its stolen from someone else, who if they kept an eye on there finanices might notice but i spose what some people do is move and hide the money instantly and hope not to get caught. i could be wrong i have no expierence with this. pure speculation
