I see a lot of rhetoric on here saying not using your real name is suspicious and a foolish thing to do. How? My friend has been using an alternative name the whole time and mail still comes through. Mail people deliver so much mail every day what makes you think that using a different name will suddenly trigger suspicion ? And no I'm not saying use a completely obvious fake name.. But using an alternative first name with your real last name or a family members last name is not that crazy. It's not like the postal inspector or mail person is going to automatically think there is drugs in your mail just because a distant family member is receiving something from ebay? Let's say your pound of weed from Cali gets seized but you were smart enough to use a realistic name other than yours and the LE dressed as the mail man come knocking on your door, but the mail isn't addressed to you so you are much more capable of denying everything. As long as the vendor is good with stealth and your Opsec is good, using an alternative realistic name is the least of your worries. This all comes down to luck. Discuss?
It's tough to have plausible deniability when you're opening someone else's mail if that makes sense. If the mail is addressed to you there is always a case to be made that you thought it was from Barnes and noble or something. If your name is Jim Jeffries but you're caught opening Dale Fuckboys mail it's gonna be hard to explain.
