So I have a question for all the biochem guys here, just a quiz question:
Which process, taking place in the cytoplasm of the cell, creates a substance which is derived from carbohydrates in the pathways that provide the glycol to the process?

Edit: A LOT of good answera here, but I looked back after reading comments and I agree, I worded this so vague... I was looking for "fatty acid synthesis" but everyone who is a chem person here... all of your answers could technically have been right except for glycogenesis
