If you're using 2-of-2 Hansa claims that they have a "dead man switch" that will automatically sign all transactions after 30 days of the site going down. After Hansa signs the transaction the vendor can sign it and access funds.

With 2-of-3 you wouldn't have to rely on Hansa to sign the transaction. The buyer can sign once the package lands, and once the vendor signs the transaction the funds are released to the vendor.

Personally, I keep a record of all multisig bitcoin transactions off the market so that in case the site goes down I have everything I need to complete all my transactions with buyers.

Hansa has locktime transactions that the vendor can download and they can cash out after 30 days or so on their own.

eic did that too.
