Dispute Etiquette

Hey, I have an international order in escrow right now and will finalize in 12 hours or so. I messaged the vendor asking if he could update me on the package and he said he doesn't have tracking but the postal system is slow in his country and he will do 50% reship if it's a no-show after 6 weeks. Also, his shipping times said international orders can take 10 - 20 days. his feedback is limited but all positive.

My question is, should I hit dispute and extend my time in escrow, or should I leave it since his original shipping times stated maximum 20 days? I'm not acusing him of scamming, just want to wait until the pack drops. I intend to keep buying off this vendor if I enjoy the product so I don't want to burn any bridges just yet. Many posts on the forums make it seem that the mods who handle disputes are useless anyways (penissmith for example). Is it worth it?

You're just extending the auto-finalize time to keep waiting for the package not actually disputing anything.

Wanting your BTCs back because it never showed is when the admins are needed.

We at Kmart encourage our customers who choose escrow to dispute it and then release the funds as soon as it arrives as delivery is usually more that the 2 weeks escrow time given on the Marketplace ..thats what escrow is for at the end of the day .. then hope that the customer moves to FE order the next time round
