Shipping security / mmbs (mylar bags) protection pls read !

Hello,

I dont know how many of you noticed that some vendors ships with mmbs vacuumed and some vendors just selaed mmbs without vacuum.

I know for long storage is better to be vacuumed but is any better to be vacuum sealed when it comes to dog smell for couple of days during mail time? Or is it the same thing ?

What are the differences ?

Most snacks come in mylar bags. can you smell the potato chips through those bags?

There's no need for the mylar bag to be vaccum sealed if it's already vaccum sealed in a ziploc vaccumed

If it's sealed properly, no. Doesn't need vacuum. I tested it my self, i put inside liquid perfume and i traveled for 5 days with trains and buses at the summer and when i opened the bag it was still as before 5 days. No air gone through there (eg. No air in, no smell out). But it's important to heat-seal it properly in an 100% flat surface. Even the tiniest smallest anomaly (invisible in the eye) on the surface can cause problems

Not as long as the mbb is properly sealed. Vacuum is a clear indication, that it is 100% sealed.
