I truly think something should be stickied about alphabay possibly scamming.

I think it selective scamming and not phishing because it all happened recently. Also id say im pretty savvy and have been on AB specifically for a week. Made a good order, and then a few days later sent over like 400$ and as soon as it confirmed (i only know cuz i was refreshing alot) i was logged out and locked out. The reset password link did not work, but it does now.

i wont lie i didnt have 2fa, but even so now i was able to reset my pass and get almost in. i just can decrypt the welcome message. it just weird the ammount and how quick it happens. plus the whole having no way to try and to a pw recovery while it happens. since i saw mine i prob couldve stopped it had i been able to pw recover.

I just think people should be very cautious right now.

It seems that everyone who was supposedly scammed by AB were people who didn't have 2fa setup.

I don't see how you can blame AB for that kind of mistake.

Your right, you were probably scammed, but I don't think you should be accusing AB unless you have proof.

They have been very clear about telling people about the dangers of not using 2fa.

yes i shouldve had to FA, but i also had pin and password recovery

I literally caught the pass change a minute after it had happened if password recovery would have been working i may have had a chance.

too many people at the same time with the same no pass recovery right after a deposit.

I am pretty good about paying atttention for phishing too
