What's the deal with buying (hacked) accounts?

I recently bought Spotify accounts off Evolution and I immediately noticed that these belong to other people. How exactly does this whole deal work? First off, do I need to be worried that the accounts will be deactivated/reclaimed? The listing advertised "LIFETIME." Also, can I do things like star tracks, scrobble to last.fm, and save albums to My Music on these accounts without fear of arousing suspicion? How are these accounts acquired in the first place anyway?

I'm guessing it was me that you bought the account from. :) My accounts are all cracked/bruteforced accounts and are not purchased with any stolen credit card info so no worries there. The main thing you have to remember is that you want to be as incognito as possible when using the account. So, while you can create playlists, it's best to delete them after you are done so you don't alert the account owner. And just leave the existing playlists alone. But I always provide replacements if the accounts happen to expire or the account owner is proactive and changes their password so just let me know if you have any problems. Most people aren't very perceptive though so I have a very good success ratio with these accounts. Hope this answers your questions!

Accounts may also be purchased with stolen credit cards. So yeah... might not be a hacked account that you're buying.

I'm no expert, but I'll throw what I think is happening (ie talk out of my butthoe).

First off, do I need to be worried that the accounts will be deactivated/reclaimed?

You don't need to worry about it, but yes that can easily happen. It seems to me most of the accounts you will get, are ones that people have, but never use or activate (ie someone who has DirecTV and a DVR, but he never watches content online, someone who got a spotify account as part of a product, purchase, etc).

If they get deactivated/reclaimed, you need to message the original vendor. Generally, if it's been less than a year, they should give you new accounts until one works. If it's more than a year, that's more up to the awesomeness of the vendor.

The listing advertised "LIFETIME."

That would imply that if the account is ever deactivated/reclaimed, you will have a 'warranty' for it, and be taken care of.

Pick the right vendor.

Also, can I do things like star tracks, scrobble to last.fm, and save albums to My Music on these accounts without fear of arousing suspicion?

I dunno. Ask the vendor for things like that. My guess is 'no'.

How are these accounts acquired in the first place anyway?

My guess is that they use some brute forcing programs that work on guessing pass/user combos. Passwords are actually extremely formulaic, 99% of the time. IE 'redranger77' is actually a horrible pass, but most people use a word/word/letter password, or they have a password that can be sounded out phonetically. Best to have a password that's remembered more by hand motions, than sounding it out (or rather, better, I'm sure even better passwords can be made).

Pretty scary huh. Go change your pass bro.

I'd recommend dwarkward, as cipherhacks seems to come and go (currently gone). They could be the same vendor though, almost seems like it.

Ive bought hacked netflix accounts in the past and they lasted for a few months before the owner changed the password. I guess that the owner got suspicious when they realized that the shows I was watching were no way related to theirs.

From my experience the "good" vendors will replace the accounts if deactivated/deleted.
