Precarious AlphaBay situation: Going to make a deposit - What is considered proof that they are scamming?

There are tons of reports from people getting scammed, this is unreal. Users who swore they have only used the bookmarked link say either the deposit has not showed up, or the deposit did show up but they were locked out of the account, or while logging back in the wallet was cleaned out.

So for someone depositing into AB, what can be considered irrefutable proof that they are using the correct link, and if coins don't show up that AB are indeed scamming customers?

There is a PGP signed address key (which Admin has said does not mean anything - in a forum post). Can this be used to verify the address?

Will a screenshot of the homepage with the navigation bar, and the BTC address be sufficient, before depositing coins to prove that they are not on a phishing site?

Please discuss, anyone making a deposit next -> please collect these hard facts as evidence before depositing and then show the community if they are scamming or not.

Probably got phished. Not really but this is all I'm going to comment on threads about alphabay

If you haven't already, enable 2FA on AB. The more amount of ways you protect yourself the less staff can argue you got phished etc.

Your AB pw should not be similar to your GPG key.

enable 2fa n never disable 2fa

I had some btc take ages to appear in alphabay wallet it was over 40 confirmations . It was because i had deposited twice within 30 mins and thers a message saying not to do that . Eventually my btc landed was only 0.4btc . I am not keen on alphabay at all though and there is a lot of people saying it scams users out of btc just in my case i wasnt scammed . Alphabay is shit anyway imo . I go for the vendors not the market its the vendors that determine which markets i use

Their pgp signed proof of deposit (AND verify it with their key) available from your wallet and the transaction Id for your deposit
