My vendor account Greenmachiner on Dream market was taken control of 3 days ago. I immediately reported the situation to support and started a thread on the scam dream forum.
Despite providing pgp signed proof, username, password, pin and a weeks worth of btc transactions I have gotten no resolution and dream market has continued to allow the scammer to take orders and withdrawal the btc.
/u/SpeedStepper responded to my ticket saying my PIN was wrong. But if my PIN was wrong then how did the scammer use it to gain access to my account? He has also ignored the additional proofs I have provided him, including a weeks worth of BTC withdrawal info and pgp signed messages with my vendor key.
The situation is very suspicious. Attention should be brought to this issue so that we can get rid of incompetent staff members or staff members who are engaging in scams. There is little reason for SpeedStepper to continue to ignore my proof and to allow the scammer to continue on unless he is financially benefitted by it.
This is not about him missing my messages, but about him purposefully ignoring the proof that has been provided and his sketchy claims of my PIN being incorrect. I do not believe you can change the PIN so how is it that the PIN that was stolen from me was used to login and change my PGP key, but now is incorrect? Either staff is involved in this or SpeedStepper is incompetent.

This vendor has lost control of his account to a phising scammer and has been trying to get a resolution for days but is being ignored by staff and support. His new username is muffhoops and has a current ticket open with support but support is not engaging or offering a resolution despite vendor providing pgp signed proof, all btc transactions, password and pin information. I request that you expedite a resolution as customers are currently getting scammed out of their money. All my customers can find me on hansa until this blows over. For those who ordered during this period, I will honor your order and ship it once I gain access back and can confirm your order on dream. Any requests to ship before that happens will be ignored, this is when scammers come out of the dark looking for opportunity so I cannot do anything until I gain accesss back.
Of course its my fault for getting phised, but that does not mean that its ok for Dream to allow a scammer to continue the scam. People who argue this point are endorsing a market to enable scammers to scam. That does not make very much sense.
