First, Medibud is a very good vendor and a valuable member of this community. I do have some constructive critisms. But I'll start with the good:
Shipping: ordered Friday night, received on the other coast on Monday, wow! 2 layers of mbb made me comfortable.
Quantity: Ordered 12 1ml clearomizers of CO2 extracted thc vape liquid. Received 14. That was cool and it made up for the fact that one of the clearomizers didn't work; the atomzier was defective.
Also, I asked for a variety of strains to which he agreed to send, but only the lemon diesel were sent.
Product: Here is where I was disappointed, last month I ordered one clearomizer from Medibud (I forgot which strain) and I was blown away by the convenience of the delivery system and the strength of the product. I am a daily smoker and have had a gram a day habit for few years. I thought I found a much more economical and healthy system for THC delivery because only 3 puffs of the strong stuff would get me very high. And the 1mg lasted nearly two weeks of multiple times using daily.
I was extremely pleased with the product quality so I decided to order 12. However, the batch I received the second time are MUCH less potent. I'd guess they are only 25% as potent as the first. The difference is not just my subjective "I don't feel as high" experience, the viscosity is much much lower (water-down) in these new carts. The oil in the first cart was the consistency of cold, maple syrup. It would trap the air bubble when turned upside down. I had to mash down the semi-solid goop with a toothpick so the atomizer would get it when it got towards the end.
This new vape juice is the consistency of water. The air bubble freely moves, like a handimans leveling tool. See pics. http://imgur.com/PH7L7ZO
The cart on the left in the top pic (right in bottome pic) is the empyt, first cartridge I received. See all the residue left behind? That's because it was dense and thick. The middle is an empyt cart from the second order. The one of the right in the top pic (left in bottom pic) is a full one cart from the second order.
It's obvious that there is A LOT more P.G., propylene glycol, in the carts in the second order. The throat hit is not hard at all like before. And to get high it take 15+ puffs. These new ones are lasting me only around 3-4 days.
I absolutely love this new way to smoke/vape... Soooo much better than the click and smoke pens were I thought were the ultimate a few years back. I just wish I got the same product as the first time from Medibuds. I brought this to his attention but got no reply.
I encourage everyone to demand more CO2 extracted vape juice, it is a much healthier alternative to leaf. And using the no-button o.vape pens is the perfect THC delivery system. You just take a drag and bam, THC vapor!
Thanks to Medibud for being a good vendor. My gripes are minor considering how awesome it is to be able to order this to a non-legal state.
I finalized more than a week before C9 went down, he got his coins. But I hadn't left feedback yet on the market, so I wanted to share my experience here.
RANT: when leaving feedback, it is most important to give feedback upon the PRODUCT. Especially after experiencing the product enough times to get a good feel for it. I know I want to rush to leave feedback as soon as I get the package to do right by the vendor, but I'm doing the seller community a BIG diservice if I don't take the time to experience the product first and provide a measured review.
TL;DR = The 1st cart rec'd from Medibuds was fire. The 2nd order was under-whelming b/c it was so watered-down. Good vendor otherwise. Try the product before leaving feedback!
