[OPSEC/Computer] - How would a Controlled Delivery happen if you use a UPS store as your address?

The UPS store (and really any mailbox service) of course has my physical address, and my real name and all that stuff.

How are CDs and things like that handled?

Normally - I use my key to open my box, if it's a letter sized it should be there, if it's a package they leave a slip which I hand to the guy at the counter and he hands me my package. They used to make me sign on the slip but I have not in a while.

So, how would a controlled delivery go down? Would I hand the slip, get my package, THEN get busted? Since I wouldn't have anything on person / vehicle and would say nothing, where does it go from there? Warrant for my residence?

In general, should I clean house before picking items up or would they not get a warrant for my house if it was a UPS store delivery?

This assumes my computer opsec is practically perfect, which I like to think it is. I would never leave my encryption keys in RAM when picking things up or getting a delivery. - I'm far more worried about physical opsec.

Thanks!

Just find some punk kid on the street and pay him 100$ to go get your mail. or if your that scared its a CD dont pick it up. usually what happens is they will just have a slip in the mailbox and ask for you to sign for the package. once you open it a seizure notice will be in there and since you signed for it they will send you a court date in the mail.

One of 3 things could happen

  1. The suspect will be pulled over shortly after leaving

  2. The suspect will be apprehended on-site

  3. A tracking device will be placed inside the package to find the suspect's location of business/stash house and a search will be executed

That one big heroin dealer from SR1, who was on drugs inc, they apprehended his gf at the UPS store on-site.

I think it would pretty much go down just as you imagined it in the OP.
