Is there really cartel/otther drug gangs selling on DNM?
How pissed would they be if they got hit by an exit scam? Would they try to do anything?
When a market exit scams, who are they stealing from?

Cartels makes mills so I don't think they need Alphabay to make money. There are some pretty close to being big time dealers but they can't do nothing about it either way cuz they don't have the resources to track em down even the FBI has resources and that takes a long time to take down a website so yeah. Big time deals can get "no lubed" and there's nothing they can do about it.

I love discussions like these so I'll give my two cents. While this is all pure speculation on my part, I imagine the presence of cartels on the markets is fairly small and limited. I think cartels are more involved in producing and distributing mass quantities of drugs in whole sale volumes (such as in hundreds of kilos or pounds of product). However, I do think there are probably some fairly high up the ladder individual suppliers, groups, or networks involved on the markets that are maybe 2-3 steps removed from the original source.
Think of it like a major food production company and the restaurant industry. The cartels are the farmers who produce the food who then sell it to the wholesale companies (medium to large time darknet vendors) who provide the restaurants (street dealers or small vendors) with the ingredients, food, and basic supplies who in turn sell the final product to restaurant's customers (the general public drug users and addicts on the "streets"). So us drug users as well as most low to mid level street dealers are usually mostly removed from the top of the chain. Of course there are always irregularities or unique circumstances but for the most part, I'd say most of us are not dealing directly with cartels similar to how most of us don't deal directly with the farmers who produce the things we consume at restaurants or grocery stores.
Overall, I think most vendors are somewhere between low to mid level street dealers, bulk street suppliers, and simply some tech savvy fairly normal dudes looking to earn some money while avoiding the street scene and those involved in it entirely. Other then a maybe a small handful of vendors, I think cartels are pretty removed from the online markets and instead focus more on producing the drugs, maintaining a presence on the streets, and moving vast quantities of drugs to bulk dealers that either sell to vendors themselves or are perhaps 2-3 parties removed from vendors. While it's pretty amazing seeing kilos or pounds for sale on the markets, if you have ever seen drug/cartel documentaries, books, news articles, or those border control tv shows you'll actually see that these cartels move 10-100x these amounts on a daily basis.

There will be some pretty serious organisaitons but not cartel level or anything (who will already factor in similar losses such as big border seizers and the like anyway). Unless you were doxed and happed to be in one of these guys areas then maybe something may happen.
Wasn't the only exit scammer caught that sheep guy and that was by law enforcement? Vendors will just chalk this up as a loss and move on.

Pretty much from everyone using their marketplace. Whether it be the stay at home dad that wants to smoke a fat blunt or the average marijuana grower wishing to sell their wares. Shit like that dude.

This reminds me of a low brow painting I saw depicting real Nazis in uniforms fighting tooth for tooth and tentacle for tentacle with invading aliens in flying saucers.
Nothing will happen. Look what happened to evolution dnm. People lose a lot of money and get pissed for awhile and threaten to doxx admins. Nothing ends up happening and people just forget about it and move on.
