Package didn't land yet - placed order into reclamations on Nuke. Did I do the right thing?

Alright, so it's been almost 9 days now since I placed an order on Nuke. Given the pack hasn't landed yet, and it was about to Auto FE in a few hours, I did as the little instructions said that if the pack didn't show up yet, to press this button and blahblahblah. I left a message on the reclamations page saying that the package didn't arrive yet, and that since it was going to Auto FE in a few hours, I want to keep the funds in escrow until it arrives.

I guess shipping times in Canada are still really fucked up. But did I do the right thing? I mean I didn't want to lose my money but I could part with the loss. Also, surprisingly, this is the first time I have ever had an issue with purchasing where I had to prolong the Auto FE time.

Yes this is completely standard to do. Always dispute it it's about to auto finalize. Canada mail is really fucked up right now. Express packs that are ALWAYS 2 days are now 3/4 and regular mail that's 5/6 is now 8/10 etc. ( of course there's a chance it's still normal times...but unlikely )

Had to do the same thing with an order from the 30th from CA, what vendor if you don't mind my asking? Mine didn't ship until 7days after order so I pretty much had no choice but to put it in reclamations before it landed.
