Circle, starting December 1st no longer allowing Prepaid Debit cards, any alternatives?

For some reason Circle has decided starting December 1st, that they are not allowing prepaid Debit cards. Which I think is a real mistake on their part, are there any alternatives that are very similar and easy to buy bitcoins with a debit card? Thanks.

The only other problem is that I'm a NY state resident, is there a site would even sell me bitcoins?

Thanks for all the responses, I think I figured a way to remain on Circle. I saved these prepaid debit cards that were sent in the mail. I activated one that is essentially a green dot card with a checking account number and a routing number. I tried first to add it using the card number, but it rejected it saying it was a prepaid debit card, and wasn't accepted. I then tried adding it as bank account, with the account and routing number. It seemed to have worked, but is pending based on two amounts they send to it, and for me to verify those amounts. So if you're in NY state and can get one of these cards, if it has a routing and checking number, it seems like it might work.
