FE'd, found vendor, vendor will not ship- should this be my fault?

I have done business with this vendor for multiple 20+ gram orders. I put a 25g (MDMA) order in the day before abx went down and it was marked confirmed but not shipped. FE'd, then the site went down. I have finally gotten into contact with the vendor but he is saying since he did not get a chance to withdraw the coins that the order is now lost... Should this be my fault? I did everything in my power to get money and order to the vendor as quickly as possible and now it seems I am going to have to pay the price. What the hell is FE for if not to give the damn money directly to the vendor?

Also side note fuck the fact the abraxas is gone

Venders do always say they want the FE just in case the market goes down. You have a really good point. On the other hand he took a loss as well for reasons out of either of you guys control. I think at the very least a compromise is in order. You guys should split the loss half and half. If he really cared about his customers he would ship the whole thing.

It kinda sounds like he got your money and is using the fact that abraxas is gone to run off with your coin. If he confirmed it then there is no doubt he would've withdrawn. Who's the vendor?

I wouldn't see it as terrible if he didn't ship because he didn't get the money. He might not even have the money to pay his bills them is month. Sucks but let us know what happens. I think anything you get out of him is better than nothing.

FE releases the coin to the vendors wallet. If he didn't withdraw, he didn't get the coin. You have no idea if he withdrew or not before abraxas went teats up.

If I was the vendor I would offer you 50% on the next deal, so the loss is shared.

Name and shame?

Don't feel bad man I'm in the same boat. I actally FE'D on 11/3, he confirmed 11/4 with a message saying hell ship it the next day....never shipped it. And I know he has my coins bc I fe'd 2 days before it even went down and it was confirmed day before it went down

Same thing happened to me. Only I admit, the money was in escrow. So the loss is all mine. I asked if we could do a 50/50 split, but he said nope, unless Abraxas comes back, I'm not sending anything. Pretty sad.

[1 Points] rabbitsfootx:

I think it is his fault because he had the option to withdraw and be smart. If I were you I would be civil, but tell him you have no choice but to make a reddit post about his dickishness. I could understand for a smaller vendor but if he's pushing oz...

EDIT: maybe he didn't have the option actually but I think most reputable vendors would hook you up if you have ordered large before at least a little

All in all, your job i to protect your funds and not your vendors. Vendors walk into the situation where an exit scam can take place. Of course I feel sorry for their loss but that's a situation they put themselves into.

I recently had the same issue with a 50gram mdma order. It was my first time purchasing from this vendor and I was able to finally contact him yesterday. He said that if I could resend the address he would ship my order, talk about A++ service. Sorry for your issues, but it goes to show good vendors keep their customers happy!

PS. Fuck abraxas, its taking my precious molly 2 more weeks to get here than usual

[1 Points] 2OddShoes:

I assume the vendor was FE only to protect against exit scams and he had more than enough time to withdraw the funds you sent him he even confirmed the order, imo he's scammed you or it's his own fault for not withdrawing his funds ASAP on a regular basis.

The vendor should be named and shamed if he isn't willing to resolve this with you in anyway.

[1 Points] BeBest12:

tbh he should have shipped it if he was nice and responsible

[1 Points] powerman15:

Way I see it it's if the package is mailed before the market goes down the vendor takes the loss, package not shipped the buyer takes the loss. If a vendor chooses to honor that's on them

[1 Points] justaniceyoungman:

I agree with splitting it 50/50.

sounds like a scammer, why the fuck he wants to scam a returning customer for bulk? probable exit scam incoming in order to make up for losses on MEM and Abraxas, we do need a fuller story, was it marked confirmed? Can we see his full explanation of what has happened?

[1 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

That word "CONFIRMED" means confirmed. He shouldn't verbally take ity back to "pending".

Maybe you can do a deal to receive 12.5g at the very least. But even money in escrow is the vendor's responsibility. You've given up your bitcoin in good faith, to a marketplace CHOSEN BY THE VENDOR, NOT YOU.

You FE'd because the vendor wanted to get the money quick. What more could you do?

I have always shipped even when I couldn't withdraw the bitcoin, because its not the customer's fault and because I'm in it for the long run. Its better to keep a good customer because they are more valuable than a single order.

I still have my first customer from my first day on Silk Road. I fucked up and cancelled his order after I'd posted it, along with all the orders on my first day. They could have got their drugs for free, but every one of them voluntarily paid up restrospectively. DNM customers are in a different class to IRL customers, the cream. If you trust them, they don't let you down.

Yup, in a similar situation with who I believe to be the same vendor. Placed my order on Nov 4th for a smaller amount of MDMA and it was marked 'Confirmed' and 'Shipped' - he even left me positive feedback. When it didn't arrive, I contacted the vendor through AlphaBay to see if pack shipped and he said that the pack won't ship until Abraxas releases the coin. Total bullshit - if the vendor had an opportunity to update the order status and leave feedback, he also had the opportunity to withdraw the coin.

Before naming I would point him to this thread and give them a chance to come up with a compromise.

I would expect a good vendor who has history with you to at least go 50/50
