Pandora, why is it still listed?

OK I know Pandora comes with a warning on the official links but all the warning is is Alice's post which looks like total bullshit at this stage.

For those of you that don't know the site has turned into a shambles. There is zero mod support for anybody. The forums are just full of people trying to get their money back and every one of the posts are being ignored by support. Actually its become apparent that there is no support to ignore anybody.

The buyers with problems seems to fall into three categories.

  1. Buyer made an order, the vendor has accepted but has gone AWOL and shipped nothing. The resolution center is used, but it obviously needs a mod to refund the coin but there are no mods.

  2. Buyer made an order, seller never shipped. Buyer uses resolution center vendor replies with (taken from the forum) "Just got this message from Jonnychimpo Refund amount: 40% Message: because support will never show and after 15 days of this the BTC goes to me anyway" Scammers paradise and nothing is being done about it.

  3. Buyer makes an order, vendor is AWOL and doesn't accept so buyer can cancel after 5 days. Buyer cancels and is hit with a 24% charge. So now the buyer has to deposit another 24% or withdraw, if they withdraw they are hit with another 24% charge.

A quick look at the forums will confirm all of the above.

I am new to Reddit (which is why I didn't post any links), although I'm not new to the Dark Markets, if I am overstepping the mark asking for the removal I apologize, but can we please have a proper warning? One that reflects what is happening. Something like "No mod support on this site, site full of scammers, read the Official forums before depositing anything.

yea maybe they got busted, or they are ready to retire, or maybe pandora has grown out of control, but i think after the fall of SR and there has been a vast "survival of the fittest" with these darknet markets, but pandora is not the place to spend coin at all lol noob/scam central

The downfall with Pandora is that Alice is too fucking stubborn to release any control to the mods, I think there are currently 3 support staff but they have 0 control, all they can do is take messages from people and pass on the disputes to Alice.

They can not do a SINGLE thing, no trust its very strange not even disputes, password changes. The site might as well be dead. There are several well known vendors who are continuing there day to day sales fine though, that being said.

We have what we call the "Wall of Shame" here at /r/DarkNetMarkets. This wall is reserved for defunct markets, scamming markets, and formerly seized markets. It's somewhat of a graveyard of markets, although there are still a couple of active markets listed there.

Pandora and SilkRoad 2.0 are currently the only functioning markets on our Wall of Shame. We keep them listed in the sidebar as a reference, so that the site warning is visible, and that the site address is still listed. But as you can see, we have added a warning next to both of them detailing their problems. We advise buyers and vendors alike to steer clear from these sites, but it is ultimately your decision.

I like your suggestion of a proper warning that details the site problems. Right now we have a link to a post in this subreddit about the problems, but we could either list multiple posts or just give a general TL;DR ourselves.

Anyone want to weigh in on this? How would you like to see our Wall of Shame sites handled?

I use a well respected vendor there weekly. No issues. Yes the hack may or may not be bullshit but otherwise I have no issues. My vendor gets my FE immediately and nothing is stored on there longer than 12 hours or so.

May not be the best idea but it's also not the worst market still. Just my 2 cents.

I made an order a few days ago, and received it. Everything went perfectly. Just be careful, who you buy from, and the amount of time you leave your BTC there for. I only put the amount I need for my orders, and that's it.

I had very little coin there, stopped using it a while ago... so I withdrew it, when the fee was like 24% or so...

Problem is, there's no record of the coin getting anywhere.

Am I dense, or is there a place on the interface to see where I withdrew it to?
