Question on the CD Guide that was posted

Question on the top post surrounding the CD guide: what would happen if someone used a drop and another persons name tied to the address who had no idea someone was using their name, let alone ordering contraband in their name? They open the door, accept the CD package thinking they forgot about something they ordered online, open the package because it has their name on it and boom? A) that sucks for someone who could potentially get screwed over like that and B) how many people have been completely blindsided by a CD and were locked up? There has to be little shits out there that use their parents name, etc. Did I miss something?

Most people who are hit with a CD get charged with the illegal contents of their home, since it is near impossible to prove that the said person ordered the drugs

First off, using someone else's name for packs without their knowledge is good and bad. Good because they genuinely have no idea what the contents are, but bad because you're putting someone in harms way needlessly. I'm going to try remain neutral on this point, and leave it at its good and bad.

As far as an actual CD goes, the person who's name is on the pack would be clueless as to their knowledge of the contents, which works out great, but this also means they cannot prepare for the potential of a CD either. This means that if they do any drugs, and happen to have any at the drop, then they're going to jail. LE will try to coerce any info out of them, and if your name comes up then they call you in for questioning.

From a "protect yourself" standpoint this would be a great way to go about getting packs sent. However, the person who may end up spending the night (or more) locked up for someone else's stuff might not see it that way.
