Hey guys, so far I've bought all my bitcoins via a clearnet site where I had to enter lots of personal data to open an account: address, bank account, cell phone number etc. I sent my BTC from that site straight to a tumbling service and then to my markets of choice.
Last week, they had me go through the process of complete identification, i.e. I was connected to someone over my cell's webcam and had to repeat my data as well as flash my ID.
I was wondering: do you think I should be extra careful when using BTC for DNM purposes now that I went the whole nine yards regarding identification? I mean, they already had my name, address, bank account and cell number before, so I don't know how much difference it made. Or would it be fine to cut out the middleman and go straight to the markets with my BTC?
I always tumble. Some people say it's nooby or a waste of my money but it's a couple %, a few bucks maybe, and on the off chance that somebody was going to trace my coins I'd like that security and it makes me feel safer that if I get fucked that's one step harder for 12 to pin stuff on me. It's mostly to keep my own paranoia under control though and that's worth the 2.5% I pay to grams
