It seems like everyday, there are more CD stories on here (all of which could be 100% bullshit, but i doubt they're ALL fake), and it makes me wonder, where is it that people get caught? Suppose you're buying a pure API powder. If you use a vpn and/or tor, pgp encrypt all sensitive data, and the vendor's stealth doesn't suck ass, how is it that people still get caught? Can the police just search random packages until they find one which contains a powder that may/may not be scheduled and test it to see if it is? It seems like covering your tracks as far as repackaging would be nearly impossible. Sorry if this is slightly incoherent. I'm 2 hours into my first LSD trip in 25 years, and I wanted to get some thought out before they're gone.
TL;DR Some questions to sum up:
Does LE look at random packages, or only the people already previously suspect?
Are all USPS packages including priority covered by the Fourth Amendment? (Does that even matter....?)
Even if you're suspected of "things," can they open your mail unless THAT specific package is reasonably suspicious?(Including mail profiling)
At what point during transit is it most likely checked? Is that a local PD thing, or is it mainly done at the sorting facilities?
I read somewhere that a CD will delay the delivery of the pack by several days. Is this true, or do they gather the resources to do it in the 2-3 day mail timeslot?
If this is gibberish, let me know and I'll do my best to edit it.
People mostly get caught because they can't keep their mouth shut.
