A post about heroin that may save your life.

TL:DR took small dose of heroin #4 after being a perc user and using subpar heroin and almost overdosed.

So i've been a darknet user for 3 years, in that time ive tried all the various drugs that ive wanted to try including heroin, now i use to do a perc 30 or a perc 80(non snort) every month or so. a perc 30 snorted would literally do nothing to me, so i wanted something cheaper and im a non addictive person so i went and got a stamp bag of daydreamer77. did a stamp felt like 2-30's. got a bundle 5 months later, did that all in one day, and apparently that should be equivalent to 1 gram of powder(it wasnt the bags were always under) so after 3 months of not doing any percs i ordered half gram of Thegiftshop's #4 since its been circulating around here. i guess they werent joking about #4 being the strong shit, because i've always had a natural high tolerance and ive done heroin before. right before going to a diner with my girlfriend, i did a small little line of #4. I WAS FUCKED UP. later that night i go to buffalo wild wings, i do another small line in the car while drinking a 40oz of some beer. this hits me less hard this time, im not openly nodding in public. i go back to the car, finish my beer, snort another VERY small line. We leave and that is the last thing i remember. apparently my friend couldnt wake me up, my girlfriend came to pick me up brought me back to our house, had to call my friend who came over with 2 other friends, they didnt know i had done heroin because i only tell my girlfriend these things so they drag me to bed. my girlfriend knowing im on heroin puts me on my side and checks up on me every half hour. its about 5:30 am when i woke up screaming, shaking uncontrollably. disoriented, i didnt know where i was. my girlfriend was crying she called my friend she was trying to get me to go to the emergency room but i didnt want to get in trouble. i could barely see because my eyes wouldnt focus from being so doped up. my hearing kept coming in and out. i eventually snapped out of this state of panic and delirium and calmed my girlfriend down enough. she eventually went to sleep and checked on me every half hour via alerts. now i know alot of darknet users look down on us heroin users but i very infrequently use, and i know many dont like long posts. but to those that read please please please make sure to take a small line first before trying a new connect. i guess daydreamer77 sells regular dope and the #4 is from TGS is exactly that. fucking dank. heavy vinegar smell. please if you see your friend passout and he has done any opiate TAKE HIM TO THE HOSPITAL. my friend did not and i could have DIED. hope this helps someone out there.

I had a similar experience once. I always weighed out the same dose on a milligram scale. I'd only do one line on a dope day because of work responsibilities.

I think the bag was cut with fentanyl because most of the lines I did from the bag were weak. Then one line had me instantly fighting the urge to pass out hard. I did everything I could: jumping jacks, standing, etc. but I just couldn't fight it.

My next plan had been to call an ambulance, but I just collapsed doing jumping jacks. Actually, the exercise probably forced the drug into my brain faster because of increased blood flow, but it was the only thing keeping me awake.

Luckily I came to hours later. Heroin (the street drug, not diamorphine) is extrememly dangerous because of fent cuts. They just don't mix properly in dope. One hot spot is all it takes to kill you, and you won't see it coming because you will think you got a bag of shitty, cut dope.

Then, surprise fentanyl hot spot! Now you are barely breathing and holding onto consciousness with everything you got. That was enough to get me to quit.

the guy that freaks everyone the fuck out because you couldn't handle your shit , continually taking bumps of clearly advertised potent heroin. I'm sorry , but in that point in time you were a fucking idiot and stressed everyone

[6 Points] None:

Um, theres no such thing as regular dope. #4 is merely water soluble heroin. Aka diacetylmorphine hydrochloride. #3 is freebase, needs acid to dissolve in water and absolutely not shit to snort. #2 is morphine #1 is opium.

Please educate yourself about your drugs.

Stop redosing heroin so often. Its not worth it. A few times in a day, sure, but certainly not sniffsniffsniff like youve been doing.

[6 Points] BrlingtonCOATfactory:

Dude, no such thing as "perc 30s" or "perc 80s". One of those things that really bugs me. Sorry, other than that, be careful with unfamiliar dope, almost lost a close friend recently and it haunts me everyday. Stay safe all my opiophiles

ya lets not OD

HERE IS THE REAL INFORMATION THAT WILL SAVE A LIFE , YOU FUCKING PUSSIES:

[SAUCE: http://reddit.com/r/Drugs/comments/3x24p5/there_are_way_too_many_opiaterelated_deaths_that/ ]

The first effect of an opiate overdose is typically panic. Not to the overdosing user, but to the people around them. People then proceed with ineffective/useless means of reviving the person. Most of the time, calling 911 seems like the only choice, and that results in either the user dying from people not willing to call 911, or the user waking up to incredibly hellish withdrawal symptoms. This usually leads to re-dosing, which can lead to OD especially once the naloxone wears off, etc.

Generally speaking, ODs are typically a pretty bad situation. This, however, is VERY unnecessary.

Before I proceed, I'd like to note that this isn't meant to take away from whatever live-saving procedures you may have intended, but to add to them. Personally I've preferred doing this to calling for help, but that's something you'll have to decide on your own. Understand that somebody's life will be in your hands, and respect that accordingly.

The main reason an opiate OD will kill you is because it depresses breathing to the point where you stop breathing, then die. There's always the possibility that adulterants are playing a role too, but this post focuses specifically on the fatal effects of an opiate OD. The trick is to help the person breathe. That's all they need to survive.

To start things off, don't bother wasting any time. If you're alone, you have to realize that you're in an emergency situation and this person's best chance of surviving the situation will be you, the person closest to them. If you saw them overdose, this will be the optimal scenario. You know that you have a few minutes before lack of breathing begins to threaten their life. If you arrived after the fact, you need to evaluate how much you know about when this happened. If you're not alone, get as much information that you can about what happened and when it happened while simultaneously responding physically to the situation.

The first thing you want to do is to get the person ready for rescue breathing. Get them laying down on their back, arms at their sides, legs out, face facing up. Do this as quickly as possible. You can move them later, if necessary. You can evaluate their oxygen levels by looking at their skin. Their skin will lose its color and become desaturated. Pinks will look like pale gray. Their lips will turn dark and blue. The more they look like that, the less time they have left, if any. While adjusting their body for breathing, pay attention to signs of life, such as warmth, any responsiveness, and if you get a chance, a pulse. You're responding with the assumption that they're alive. If they are, you're saving time. If they're not, no harm done.

Before giving them air, take steps to prevent (and possibly even resolve) choking. Clear their mouth and make sure their tongue is where it should be. Look into their throat and clear any objects that may be there. Turn their head to the side and perform several chest compressions. This will help clear the way for incoming air.

Center their head, face facing up, and head tilted slightly back. Open their jaw slightly and then make an airtight seal between your mouth and theirs. This can be done by cupping your hands if you want to avoid contacting their mouth. However, time is of the essence, and if you're having problems, just make it mouth to mouth, though being mindful of things like cuts. Close off their nostrils, take a deep breath, and inflate their lungs with it. You should expect to be able to fill up a lungful, as you're using your own lung capacity to fill theirs up.

One thing that may happen is you will end up inflating their stomach instead of their lungs. If this happens, they are NOT getting air. You can tell that it's happening if their belly blows up, they burp the air back out, and possibly even pass gas. This is a life threatening situation, as the air is going the wrong way. I've had this happen, and repositioning the head alleviated the problem. I recommend, however, looking into this yourself to be better prepared in the event this happens to you.

After giving them air, perform a few chest compressions to get the air back out, and repeat the process. If they're alive, you will begin to notice their skin changing color, looking more alive. This means it's working. Keep giving them air for a few more minutes until their skin tone is fully revitalized. At this point, stop the rescue breathing and check their pulse, then pay attention to what happens.

Here are the possibilities and how to respond:

Once they're breathing on their own and their color is good, they will remain unconscious for some time. In my experience, this has ranged from a half hour to 2.5 hours. An OD caused by opiates mixed with benzos will increase this time. Eventually, they wake up. They never had any recollection of the experience.

If you decide to call 911 to get help, you should be doing this in the meantime. It only takes 5 minutes to die from lack of breathing, so your help will be crucial while the ambulance is on their way. If you decide to handle it yourself, then make sure you understand the implications. The primary benefit to doing it this way is that there is no naloxone-induced rude awakening, and a life doesn't have to be wasted.

I have saved about 4 lives so far using this method, and in each case, the victim only required a few minutes of assisted breathing. After that, they were breathing on their own, but would typically remain unconscious from a half hour to a few hours. They had to be monitored regularly and not left alone for more than 2 minutes. Keep in mind that 4-5 minute of not breathing is enough to die. This was used on people overdosing from heroin and heroin+xanax. Be aware that once you start this, you have to remain committed all the way to the point of them waking up. Their life is in your hands, and you have to be extremely attentive to that. Be with them like you're a Marine guarding their post.

Please supplement the above info with your own research into the involved activities, such as checking pulse, performing rescue breathing, etc.

Bro, please be careful. I've known friends who have done the same thing as you but they shot up, I don't know how you could of got so fucked up on little lines.. I may have to try some lol.

[2 Points] TheOpiateKing:

I know how you feel...I thought I was doing real dope all these years...then I grabbed 5G of GH and needed narcan. Haven't been using IV since and just trying to stick to my prescribed opiates with the occasional dabble, but haven't IVed since. You should start carrying narcan.

[2 Points] None:

No thanks for your girlfriend? She literally kept you from dying. I hope you are being extra nice to her.

[1 Points] almostdiedtway:

And by any means im not trying to hate on daydreamer 77 its just that i dont think his was advertised as #4 but all reviews of his stamp bags were gucci. ive also ordered from TG_UK hes a good vendor so hit him up for lsd. and ST82u from dream market resells quantik bars domestically so thats that. i dont write reviews but since i made this post mine as well tell everyone the good vendors ive been to.

who does this...? lol

[1 Points] somanyroads:

You suggested you are a "non addictive person", but your story appears to contradict that: you knew it was strong after the first hit, yet insisted on taking hits spaces too close together, which exposed you to a greater risk of ODing. Be blessed that there were people you love that were there to protect you from killing yourself from that god-awful drug...good luck and go forward, OP.

[1 Points] FLUSHINGKILOS1337:

As some who has a bag coming this scares the hell out of me. I recently started Iv (not H) and im scared.

[1 Points] seerius_ass_hole:

Anyone who uses the term perc 80/30 whatever....doesn't surprise me that they might OD....because you are simply fucking stupid. It's Darwin for the win.

[1 Points] bunch0fpussies:

OP stop doing heroin, fuckin pussy.

With opioid overdoses, the difference between surviving or dying depends on breathing and oxygen.
Someone having an opioid OD can be kept alive for a long time with sufficient oxygen!!!!

For example: My gf OD'd the other day, and rather than call the emergency and freak her out with a narcan shot... I did the RIGHT thing.. watched her, put her flat on her back with her head on a pillow, and BREATHED for her when needed, gave her mouth-to-mouth, the thing that kills people is LACK OF OXYGEN.

there was a whole post about this somewhere that had very specific instructions on what to do in an overdose, and you only GOT to call emergency if you are unwilling to keep them alive by breathing for them mouth-to-mouth if neccessary. it was called something like "no one need to die from a heroin overdose again" ]

EDIT: I found the post .... i pasted it in this thread, but here is the source: http://reddit.com/r/Drugs/comments/3x24p5/there_are_way_too_many_opiaterelated_deaths_that/ <-- THIS INFO CAN SAVE LIVES!!!

another example, where i didnt want to do the steps necessary to avoid a trip to emergency... my big fat buddy OD'd on my floor, and he wouldnt wake up and i didnt want to make out with the big clout for too long, so i did the heartless thing and called the ambulance (ok so the real heartless thing would be to let him die..) i gave him mouth-to-mouth till the ambulance showed and gave him narcan and carted him off to emergency...

Your mistake was drinking.... Good heroin mixed with another cns depressant is like the reason for like 99% of deaths the other 1% is fentynl

[-1 Points] Mynanasnortsket:

I really hate heroin :/ It makes me feel abit sad because we all know its physically addictive, Withdrawals are the worse thing ever and taking a drug knowing you will have a physical dependency just doesn't make sense...

Edit I love the fact that people downvote someone due to a difference of opnion.

[-2 Points] None:

a perc 30 snorted would literally do nothing to me, so i wanted something cheaper and im a non addictive person

Yet OP keeps doing drugs!!!! A non addictive person is one who does not do drugs. My advice, "JUST SAY NO" :-)
