Boom.
Police have charged 21 people during a two-month operation targeting the supply of illicit drugs online in Sydney.
Strike Force Oadby, comprising officers from Central Metropolitan Region, assisted by the Redfern Region Enforcement Squad (RES), was launched in June 2015 to target the online supply of illicit drugs, specifically via classified advertising websites, social media platforms and the 'dark web.'
Over the course of the operation, police seized methylamphetamine ('ice'), cannabis, LSD, cocaine, MDMA (ecstasy) and GHB with an estimated potential street value of $32,000.
Investigators also located thousands of dollars in cash and stolen property, all of which was seized and underwent further forensic examination.
$32k is piss all really. I love how it's being made out to be a big deal.
