Package Undeliverable as Addressed, USPS guy asked for my phone number

Tracking said the package had arrived at my p.o box and then was delivered. After the "Delivered at P.O Box" update an hour later it popped up saying undeliverable as addressed.

This has never happened before and I've never had any issue with this P.o box. I asked a man working at USPS and he said there was some issue but couldn't articulate what the problem was, seemed weird. Anyway he asked for my cell and said "we will call you when we find it". I've never heard of USPS doing this, only in cases of CDs where they call you when the police are ready to arrest you. Even if they do call me and who knows with usps its probably a setup.. FUCK

I'm really nervous now that i won't get my pack but that also something is up. Any idea what I should do?

Sounds more like typical USPS incompetence than a CD.

you can get a janky ass tracfone for like $10, and 3 months airtime for another $20.

or you could get an AT&T gophone for like, $10-20. set your plan to either the $2/daily one, or the 20cents/message plan. not a monthly plan. then get a $25 top up (cards valued $25 or more provide 3 months airtime, whereas under $25 you only get a month)

its a nice thing to have around. can use it for localbitcoins SMS verification, as well as various other quasi-legal things youd rather not connect your personal number to. but things you wouldn't wanna connect a burner to, either. like this.

If the PO box is in your name. Then they have you linked to the package anyway... So who cares about giving them a phone number?

More importantly, relax... Give them the number, and go to your PO box and ask if they have the pack.

This is your life (possibly, at least a few years) you're talking about, so hell, it could be nothing, but I wouldn't risk a few hundreds worth of drugs for a few years of my life

So, wait. You called USPS because there was a problem, they asked for a call-back number, and you're freaked out because they want to be able to get in touch with you when they solve the problem you're along about?

Is that about right?

This doesn't sound like something to freak out over. Sure, clean your house, huge your stash, whatever, but it's probably not going to be an issue.

Next time I hope he tells you to fuck off. Helpful people aren't the DEA...

This happened to me, "delivered" - "undeliverable as addressed". I called, was in my box. If it wasn't, I imagine she may have asked for my cell to let me know when they find it.

Chill bro. It's your box, they already know who you are, I'm sure everything is fine. You better fucking update. I'm serious, I will find you. :D

I've never heard of USPS doing this, only in cases of CDs where they call you when the police are ready to arrest you.

I dunno man, isn't that usually a postal inspector doing that stuff?
