PO Box Idenfication

Okay so I've done a large amount of research into the markets and I am ready to make my first purchase. However I am currently not on my own. I am 18 and looking to get a PO box. My question is this, Do I really need two forms of ID to register for one at my local post office. I Have a drivers license and a passport. My passport is however not available at this time. Thanks .

It may vary based on the USPS office. I'm not certain though. Why don't you just go down to your local office and ask?

Yes where i live its an ID and a utility bill or registration some where along the lines as that!

Photo ID and a lease for anywhere will work. Like some people use a fake id and print a standard lease agreement and fill out fake info. That way you can be extra safe. Make sure the post office is 24 hrs and pick up for pack a week or so after your sure it landed. USPS doesn't return to sender until at least 30 days. Pick it up late at night. If there is ever a pink slip abandon drop. Good luck

I only needed my drivers license when I opened mine, actually, also my car registration.

That's funny, I'm 18 too and I literally just bought one today! I just used my license and my vehicle registration, even though it is in my dad's name. He still accepted it!

At my post office I needed two forms of ID with an address on it. I used my car insurance card, and my drivers license

Generally, you need a government issued ID (driver's license, etc.) and another piece of ID that ties you to a legit address (utility bill, etc.). There is no way around this. Also, it is a felony to open a PO box with fake ID's so you can be arrested, tried, and jailed for that alone. So if you're going to go this route, you'd better be prepared and properly equipped.

PO boxes have pros and cons. Do some research to find out the advantages and problems with using them before you try to open one and see if you think it's worth it. If it is, then go for it and don't fuck up. If not, then don't bother.

You can use your car insurance papers and bills.don't forget to put po box # on your orders because offices have to return it if there is no box #, but they don't always.

When I got my PO box the bitch didn't even look at my driver's license. I just wrote my (real) name and address down, and she was like "oh I trust you!". I then paid and got my keys haha.
