It was a clusterfuck of epic proportions for those of you who remember. Around. 9 am east coast time.... That horrible horrible seizure logo went up. The forums were freaking out. BMR set up a refugee camp to rival Houston during hurricane Katrina.
My problem, was that since early August I had taken a liking to ECP. Big fucking mistake by the way. I always ordered express from deezletime who was such a pro vendor. Except deezletime had mysteriously quit logging in over that weekend. But...my coin was tied up with him. So I bought some more Btc quickly off of LBC and put em in my SR wallet. The ...the seizure. Now I was out two transactions worth of my heroin. And as any good junkie knows, when you depend on your supply coming through and it doesn't. It gets real uncomfortable real quick. I had bought a couple times from a vendor people really trusted (not DT) and I had his torchat ID. I login and basically say "man be super careful right now but...but...can you overnight me some ECP it's going to get bad for me soon." We haggle for a minute on how much Btc. He even agreed on bank transfer.
Long story short I got him the Btc. At this point my junkie fund had dwindled the fuck down. I had maybe 70 dollars to send in Btc.
But but....the very next day. I got it. Seriously the road closed. There was chaos. I found one of the top vendors at the time on torchat. Sent him Btc and he still sent me the goods like clockwork.
Not sure why I wanted to share this but maybe it was a testament that even with the seizure. It was very clear that this darknet wheeling and dealing is here to stay.
Note: seriously nobody ever fucking found out about deezletime. Also I haven't ordered anything from the DNMs since then. That cold dreary day in October. Also the vendor gave me much more than what I had bargained him with.
Vendor was SRG if anyone can decipher. I'd rather not even say bc I think he still operates and no one talks about him. Which is good bc he keeps low profile but still churning shit out. I'd be buying from him if I was doin that anymore but...shit ruins lives bro.
I remember it like it was yesterday. I needed some MDMA for a rave, so I decided to go to Silk Road, which is what they called Agora in those days. So I logged onto an .onion site, which was the style at the time. Now, to make a purchase cost a bitcoin, and in those days, bitcoins had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. Give me five bees for some heroin, you'd say.
Now where were we? Oh yeah: the important thing was that I logged onto an .onion site, which was the style at the time. They didn't have i2p because of the war.
