Can you get a controlled delivery over Marijuana if it's decriminalized in your state?

Clearly it's still illegal to purchase marijuana and get it shipped over state lines, but is it possible to get a controlled delivery over personal quantities of weed (less than an ounce) in a state that has decriminalized personal quantities of weed (like Connecticut)?

Yes

States are still subject to federal laws and regulations. Cannabis is Schedule I, so if the feds become involved, they can do whatever they want with you.

Don't flip over an eighth.

Decrim typically only applies to the actual possession, purchasing/ selling it is generally still an arrestable offense.

Besides many states also have laws about using phones/computers to commit a crime. Decrim won't do anything there..

importation is certainly not legalised

Yes; but probably only in dealer amounts.

YES - for small amount shipping, feds will not get involved unless you are the one sending. feds usually dont even get involved when someone is pulled over driving coast to coast - had a buddy get pulled over on way back from Cali in bumfuck nowhere and he was prosecuted in that city/state and never by the feds (he had 10+lbs)... have had non-DNM weed packs get seized by USPS with no involvement from local or federal LE either. they know they arent going to make a dent in this shit, but they cant act like it...

i live in a "decriminalized" state and was setup by a drug task force on the sale of 3 fucking grams of weed! i ended up going to prison because i refused to quit smoking weed during probation and eventually told the PO that this ws a waste of both of our time and executed my prison sentence. decriminalization doesnt mean shit unless you're only carrying a gram or two. any sale is a felony in most states

federal crime trumps state law especially with drug trafficking
