PSA: Feedback should be left upon COMPLETION of transactions. 100's of "FE'd early" do not equal a reliable seller.....

Just wondering what the reasoning behind commenting "FE'd early....will update" is..... especially considering hardly anyone updates their feedback once left..

Made a purchase last week off Zable on Evo. Vendor has 146 positive feedback - 15 mutual and 4 negative.

Of all the positive feedback there are less than a handful where anyone actually seems to have received their package....

This makes it very difficult to make an informed decision and honestly I'm kinda wowed vendor has amassed so many positives in the same manner....you guys ARE aware, that even when finalizing early, FEEDBACK IS NOT REQUIRED! YOU ARE ABLE TO GO, ONCE YOUR PACKAGE ARRIVES AND REVISIT THE TRANSACTION TO POST A RELEVANT FEEDBACK ON THE TRANSACTION AND INFORM THE COMMUNITY.

Give back a little, if just this tiny bit. Seriously.

NOT doing so is just begging to have scammers sit and soak up tons of sales with to good to be true prices before anyone realizes that there package is NOT in fact showing up and that there is no escrow to protect their coins....ugh. Just ugh.

This has been an issue for a loooooong time, but rears its head much more so when there's a mass relocation to a new marketplace.

Be smart. You wouldn't go on eBay, send your dollars via Paypal and immediately go back to eBay and leave positive feedback based on good will, would you? Shit!

Here's a perfect example of a fabricated positive rep

"Finalizing early on account of a good deal and a vendor with a reputation that is growing quickly. I hope that I am putting my faith in the right person here. I will be back (very frequently, at these rates) if all goes well."

The "reputation" is over 100 FE early comments (positive) made in less than a week.

SUPER REP, BRUH

[10]/[10] Best post ever! I didn't read it yet, but I will later.

YES PLEASE.

I've seldom seen people actually update after they get their order. All you have to do is wait a couple of days to leave feedback. Don't leave it at all if you only have "FE at vendors request" to say. Especialy when they give five stars with it. I can't count the number of vendors I've looked at based on their ratings, only to find that it's 100 five star ratings with "FE - will update" in every single one. An exit scam would be easy as shit with this. Even if you stop shipping things, you'll still have a perfect rating.

And out of that handful, there are the "Received, have not yet tried the product but I bet it's FIRE!!!" type shit. ::FACEPALM::

The markets should have it set up to where feedback cannot be posted within at least 72 hours of placing an order.

The markets should also remove all the "FE'd for trusted vendor" and "haven't tried yet" and "will update later" shit feedback. It's worthless and doesn't help anyone. I don't see that happening because the market admins are overworking as it is, but the above suggestion is definitely doable.

Dude awesome. Just awesome. this issue needs to be corrected and put on the main page of EVERY MARKET.

I think the people who leave that type of feedback don't use r/DNM.

I got some crap oil and I haven't left any feedback mainly because I'm afraid of retaliation. I just rely on vendor reviews here.

[2 Points] mrmentl:

Completely agree. I don't like not having escrow in the first place especially when some moron is posting "FE for trusted vendor" How is that feedback?

[2 Points] youtakesally:

I'd say not even 10% of the feedback in markets is useful. There's the "FE" feedback, the "haven't test it yet" feedback and finally people that haven't got a fucking clue about the drug (or product) and still leave positive feedback.

But also ebay feedback is useless.

Hes pulling one hell of an exit scam...

i didn't like the post and it was underweight, still 5/5 rating.

I leave that comment so people know all they have to do is wait to see a recent review of a product, I always update my feedback on the day i receive my order (or do not receive). I see it as especially useful on orders that don't currently have any feedback, it lets people know that they can wait to get a review within a week instead of jumping in blind.

Since I still remember the time I was new, I think the reason you see a bunch of FE will update later shit, esp on Evo, is b/c it looks like you HAVE to write a review to finish the FE process. I know this isn't the case now, but I remember when I first started messing with Evo I didn't know you could come back and do the review at a later time. I assume others are under this same assumption. THEN, you see people write "FE, will update later", you assume that you can modify your review, so that's a feedback loop there as well.

It was only until much later did I realize I could just click away from the transaction and come back later. I'm guessing people are under the same impression. I wish Evo's page would have a button to "come back to review later" type of thing so you explicitly know you don't have to complete the review now.

[1 Points] WrecklessNES:

The only reason "my friend" FE'd with Zable was because they used him before on Agora. When he moved to Evo my friend moved with him. This FE bullshit wasn't a huge red flag because the product they received in the past was great. Hopefully Zable pulls through and this isn't a very lucrative exit scam.
