Bank of America new ID policy is for real

Can confirm what another poster said, after making noise about it for a year, they finally have started requiring ID for cash deposits.

If LE really wanted to get YOU (Paranoid Person) they have the security camera footage & then they go all Jason Bourne on you & run it through their super duper self awareness quantum computer normally only used to reach Mariana's Web to find out who YOU are!!! And then BAM....Special Forces know down your front door to find that 1/8 of shake you got off of AB!!!! My advice to YOU.....Just say NO.....Don't DROP the soap.....Merry Christmas & Happy New Year :-)

Um, this is the same as when it's linked to your CC or bank.

Now I'm wondering how the fuck so many people thought that CC/bank was better than ID, goodness.

Keep your transactions under $8000 a day, and I promise you that this will continue to not effect you

Chase won't even let you deposit cash into someone else's account.

[1 Points] MVPilgrim:

I don't think this is as bad as people make it out to be. I've only had to show it once, but the guy just glanced at it and carried on.

Are they keeping a copy or anything now?

[1 Points] JburnaDNM:

You know what everyone forgets about when they use a bank or coop that doesnt require id??? You still are on camera and so is the vehicle you pulled in with and the license plate can be matched to you if they really wanted to id you.

[1 Points] TripAddict:

I keep seeing posts like this, if they ask for your ID, just give it to them, it's pretty hard to track who's bitcoins are who's after this point. You can follow the blockchain until it hits the tumbler then it goes cold. Which means, you can go finally go buy that quarter pound of grand daddy purple that you wanted.

OR if you are still paranoid, buy with cash from a sketchy person. Bring a weapon for defence just in case.

Possibly the worst bank you could choose for your banking needs. Find a local credit union, brother...

I'm confused (and not a BoA user) but even if you were to deposit say $280 cash at an ATM you have to show an ID? As In everytime? That seems completley unnecesary if so.

What's the fastest way to purchase bitcoin with debit/CC and have in my wallet ASAP?

How long does it take to tumble those purchased coins and have on my market wallet to make purchases ?

I know a lot of people on this sub-Reddit really don't like fraudsters, but from my experience of carding, you should use Capital-One for all illicit activities. They have bad security when opening fake accounts, and if you are looking to deposit they will just ask for your bank card. I know there are also ATM's that allow depositing.

Is there a difference between depositing into a bank or credit union? I've heard to use a bank bc of checking Id, but it sounds like more banks are doing the same.
