[MEM WALLET] Tracking down the missing coins ....

Last week, I spent some time tracing a lot of the larger MEM wallet transactions. Now I have time to get a little more organized and came up with this simple table of addresses, transactions, and dates. Currently, I have accounted for 281 BTC that are currently sitting in colds wallets. They have not been tampered with since the MEM incident. https://www.docdroid.net/N2n96rE/mem-btc-tracking-copy.pdf.html

The above table is valid up to 2015-11-07 12:52:13, where all of the new deposits are automatically routed to the BTC-e exchange as seen here: https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/MiddleEarthMarketplace

To get an even better understanding, I will try and map out the BTC locations for any coin moved before 2015-11-05 21:29:36. I will continue to perform my due diligence and post any updates and I find them. If anyone has any helpful information, please PM to me.

EDIT: Fixed the links. Sorry !!

Someone on another thread about MEM says they were cashing out on a localbitcoins account as well. They'll get caught faster than you can say "life in prison."

I thought the bitcoin sent to BTCe was most interesting. The site is down, so only the site's owners can move bitcoin out of or between its wallets.

The fact the they sent some to BTCe without tumbling them ENSURES they will be arrested.

Nobody ever says it,, but thanks for doing this. Its recording one definite thief's wallet in the first few days after a scam which is important. The feds then have until 2140 to work the rest out.

docdroid link doesn't work.

So if their cashing them out at an exchange then it obviously has to be connected to a bank account correct??

If you look into the history of Reddit, you'll see that all of this has happened before.

And MEM came back, fully restoring wallet balanced :).

I didn't think to post this here when I first read this thread but I looked at this wallet again today and it is seriously interesting:

The wallet above has been used to cash out heavily to exchanges for a while now. The intresting thing is when MEM drained their 600BTC wallet a lot of the transactions went to this wallet (links below show that)

Here were my findings going to Kraken from smaller wallets:

What is really interesting is if you look at that wallets history a lot of the major deposits come from wallets that were supplied with coins from major markets (Abraxas, Nuc, Etc). This (in my mind) could suggest a few things but the first one I jump to is that the owner(s?) of MEM also vended on other sites?

An interesting picture is being painted here that is leaving me with more questions than answers.

Really not sure how to make heads or tails of that wallet but it has something to do with MEMs exit, that is for sure. It obviously had a fair amount of the BTC drained from the 600BTC wallet into it and then those coins were sold off either through Kraken or BitStamp.

Whoever they are, they are stingy as fuck. They always do the minimum fee on even the most massive of BTC transactions.
