I need to turn on JS to even view posts on this sub now. First it was only posting requirement. JS has always been a risk to de-anonymizing users. What to do?
This JS bullshit is getting annoying.

Try coding JavaScript and you'll see what a real headache looks like. God this language is impossible for a noob ffs. Not only do you have horrible syntax with ridiculous exceptions and little quirks. But it's also heavily object oriented if you ever want to get something done, not a concept that easily clicks in practice as it does in your mind.

This tutorial might be helpful for you in this scenario: https://www.reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarkets/comments/231wk3/on_posting_to_reddit_via_tor/?ref=share&ref_source=link

Only allow scripts from specific sites, not globally, wherever possible - and definitely try not to allow any scripts that aren't over HTTPS.

yeah since about two days or so you need to enable js for viewing the text of the selfposts when using for example the normal Tor browser.
it is unnecessary and annoying since previously all one would have to do to quickly check the latest posts on the sub was to allow cookies for reddit and visit r/darknetmarkets. now executing js code from a us based company is needed to display the text.
care to weight in mods?

It's because the sub is marked 18+. Maybe the mods could turn that off if using JS to see posts seems like a security concern? I thought it used to be open (not 18+) but I could be mistaken.

I noticed this too, just started happening the past 2-3 days or so. I made a post about it with this account but got no comments

Bullshit. You need JS to load posts on mobile, not read normally.
Selectively whitelist the scripts you need?
Since when do you need JS to view????
