I really think TMP is going to be the future of Darknet Markets

I don't want this to come off as blatant advertising for TMP. I'm not paid, I wasn't coerced; I'm just genuinely impressed after finally being able to access the site via their Tor gateway. The following is my assessment (thus far) of the site:

Let's start off with the interface. Very user-friendly, functional, and simple. Nothing too complicated or fancy, but gets the job done in a fashionable way.

The price filters and the domestic filter is a necessity, but it's nice to see it already in place after several marketplaces have failed to offer it quickly or in a functional manner. I'm also a big fan of their rating system, which rates vendors based on four categories: stealth, communication, product quality, and overall rating. This provides a much more detailed look at a vendor than your average "one to five star" rating that just gives you a general idea without looking at comments.

I haven't had an opportunity to play with the escrow system yet, but obviously the idea of an escrow system that is untouchable by administration should leave vendors and users alike salivating. No more SMP, TorMarket, Atlantis, etc. No more fear of losing money that was stuck in escrow.

Now there ARE a few downsides. Right now there is a very limited number of vendors who are selling on TMP, and only a small number of these vendors sell on other sites or have any kind of a reputation outside of the TMP community. If you're looking for heroin as of today, you may as well give up and look somewhere else. Products are scarce, but hopefully this will change soon as vendors realize what TMP has to offer.

Everything about this site is appealing to me. For the first time since the demise of SilkRoad, I have genuine hope for Darknet Markets. I want to thank everyone involved with TMP, both vendors and admins and even customers. You guys are creating the future of Darknet Markets and creating a safe environment for users and vendors alike.

If you haven't had the opportunity to check out the site yet and haven't mastered i2P (I'm right there with you), here is the Tor site address: http://p5caydkgrwx5xwrj.onion

Note: You cannot access the TMP forums through the Tor gateway; i2P is required.

I just finished a sale on TMP, first time working on a multisig site, its was pretty simple actually with the electrum plugin, only took two more steps than on the other sites, i dont get what all the critisism is of multisig, shit now i can do business without worrying about whether months of hard work is going to go down the drain all of a sudden.

The combination of i2p and multisig transactions means TMP has everything I want. The paradigm of Tor & onsite escrow is broken, as we've all seen. i2p is a far better choice for a market than tor (I don't really like the site having a tor gateway) and i2p is no harder to get running than tor. Having multisig transactions removes the need for onsite escrow, which is a HUGE step (I don't think people have yet realised how big) and makes it much safer to buy. All the site needs is vendors now.

I think you are right, products were scarce in the very early days of SR 1 as well. I will have to check this site out. The i2p thing has been keeping me away.

What's it like for uk products?,I'm guessing awful because every dark market is currently awful for them

I have finally been able to get access to the site via tails but it is a lot of effort (even though it is probably worth it for the security benefits). Are there any downsides to using the site through the gateway?

I agree totally, it looks really good.

Sadly, only thing it's missing is vendors, but hopefully that will change soon.

im keepin a watch, but there are so few vendors.

The only problem with i2p is that i am unable to use it behind a proxy
