Stop to talk about "openbazaar"

Huuurrr durrr use open bazaar huurrr

Come on, OB is cool but it's hard to sellers, they will have to set a server, take care of the server opsec and everything else.

The main idea behind the markets are:

Admin take care of the whole system and charge a %

Seller just have to sell.

So stop, OB is uselless.

It's not what we need for sure. There are better options but none that are out of beta.

[8 Points] Bedrovelsen:

OB2 is what people are excited about. Decentralized, no fees, built on IPFS, encrypted chat built in, transactions quick through processing time

Should be out in month or two then auditing heavy then confirm secure then it will outclass any market numbers and users seen yet as no take down servers feasible

I think it needs the right context. It's a great idea and maybe the future of DNMs, but it's just not polished yet. A vendor would have to be a fool to bet their freedom on untested opsec; let's test it with alpaca socks first.

So talking about future direction of DNMs, sure. Taking about what to use right now, no.

[2 Points] EnigmaMarket:

OB has made it clear they don't really want to support DNM yet, and they had to be dragged to barely add less-than-stellar support for Tor.

I wouldn't consider OB to be safe or plentiful for DNM purposes.

[2 Points] Polygon_Windows:

The whole idea of IPFS is they DONT need to host their own servers, right? All the vendor has to do is open up shop in whonix or tails and go. Maybe OB isnt the answer but its a big step in the right direction and the more people talking about it right now the better.

Partcl is working on a decentralized and anonymous platform, currency and chat
