I've been through raids like this before. Beware of the next markets to arise - they will be LE controlled

In a different industry I've been through raids like the ones that are happening now. This is only the second stage or so.

The next markets that arise will be controlled by law enforcement, from inception to end. A major seizure is seen as an opportunity to herd people into more and more fed controlled sites.

Normally this is how these things go

1) Infiltrate website and take an admin position.

2) Gather information

3) Seizure and control of servers, accelerated information gathering.

4) Raid/Site Shutdown (we are here)

4.5) Use other compromised sites to gather information as people flee from the original sites to smaller ones

5) Widespread arrests

6) Using arrest as leverage assume control of a person or identity that is well known

7) To fill the void launch a new site(or several) 100% under control of law enforcement from beginning to end using the well known identity.

8) Rinse, lather, repeat.

Once they have arrests on this scale, there will be rats everywhere. Keep your opsec tight and chill for awhile.

The justification for creating a site from scratch to sell drugs on and catch users is far larger than capturing an existing site and running it for a period of time. The site would have to run for ages in order to build a decent user base with anybody worth busting and by then they would've spent tens of thousands and helped countless users buy drugs, possibly even kids. I don't think you will ever see that happen, the cost benefit is completely out of whack.

✓ Bingo.

Any thoughts on this /u/Sourcery_Market?

I made a post about this and it was deleted by a moderator. I was basically saying the next "big" market everyone will flock to will be a massive honeypot just like hansa was. Except this time they will have the entire dark net customers and vendors going to sign up on the new honeypot market.

This is just the start... I can see alot more shit going down in the next few weeks or months

It shouldnt matter, everyones knows about this for a long time to use the market as if the DEA ran it and if you did everything right it wouldnt matter

[1 Points] None:

How many arrests you thinking?

TradeEoute or Sorcery?

They have never done number 7 on a dark net market. Ofc there is always a first, but there are many new markets, most of them ignored.

who says this wasnt hansa all along, only people who wouldn't care about being able to run with the coins. Give em what they want, You Build it and they will come.

We have to break this cycle!

You do realize this isn't the first time that LE has infiltrated/shut down a marketplace? Are you new or something?

[1 Points] OpOnymousSurvivor:

Informants are the #1 source of busts with DNM shit, that's a fact. the average federal agent couldn't even access the DNMs on their own, they contract DNM work out to paid informants who hand over their credentials and let LE in that way. I have read multiple accounts of vendors flipping on their own customers giving over their buyer lists to "cooperate"

I blame the Chinese for the rest, with their bullshit RCs and fentanyl putting negative news headlines for the world to see and use against this community.

I used to work closely with a Dutch vendor who got his start on SR1 and retired safely after 3-4yrs and he told me that the biggest fear of EU vendors is extradition to America for DNM crimes. Look how fast El Chapo lost all of his hair once he hit MCC in New York.... almost spooky
