[OPSEC/Computer]

Hello Reddit,

I was wondering if I'm really doing enough OPSEC : all I do is log on to Tor... of course I have two factor auth with my account - but I dont use tails. most of the time I'm also on the clearnet with Chrome in a different window... obviously I'm on Windows.

Well, that's not good. You probably won't get caught because of it, but if you do get caught, there will be plenty of evidence. You should really just use tails. It's easy as hell, and much safer.

It's about the bare minimum you can do. Take 20 minutes now to make sure you don't serve 20 years later.

It really depends what you're doing.

Just browsing the secretly browsing the clearnet on tor because you want to be a jerk on facebook, your setup would be fine.

But if you're doing something that you wouldn't exactly shout from the rooftops, then you really should have a second OS for that. Be that on a live CD or in a virtual machine, and that second OS really shouldn't be windows

your actions affect people other than yourself, if you're going to be slack on your own security at least make sure you don't compromise anyone when you do get busted

what are you ordering? you at least need a vpn + tor + pgp
