Quick questions regarding signature

I am forced to order airmail from Canada that requires shipping. This won't be from the DNM, but the contents are illegal. I live in Norway.

Do they usually ask for ID when you sign?

If my ID and the name are not quite the same, would that help me legally/would they deny me the package?

This isn't a ton of stuff, nothing on the scale a dealer would buy. Will they bother going past detaining the package?

Any further info is hugely appreciated!

If you're home, you can just sign without an ID (at least over here, eastern Europe), but if they miss you or just can't be bothered with the package and leave a slip saying it's waiting for you at the post office, you will most definitely have to show your ID.

Ordering to a name that has never been used before at that address is very sketchy, and trying to pick up a package with an ID that doesn't have a matching name, well, you'll probably get the police called on you.

In short, any attempt to pick up a package that isn't in your own name throws out any plausible deniability you had out the window. You can't say you weren't expecting it and that you have no idea who sent it. Either order in your own name and hope the vendor's stealth is good enough, or just don't order.
