Well over a month ago, I purchased the Yeezy Boost 350 purchase service from VobinatorEVO titled "PURCHASE SERVICE FOR UPCOMING Yeezy Boost 350 All White and Neon SHOE DROP!". I'd done my research and concluded that this purchase service was either completely legit or a very well planned scam. I have compiled enough evidence to conclude that it is a scam.
I'll start from the beginning. When I ordered, this is what was written in the listing, word for word: "Shoe drop verified drop date: end of July / very early August. Get orders in now, and make TENS OF THOUSANDS within a week doing NOTHING." Quite the pitch. As August progressed, I started to wonder what was going on. I check the listing after what could be considered very early August has passed, and the "Verified drop date" has changed to around the middle of august. Fine, shit happens. That quickly passes by, and I'm starting to reach the end of my patiece. I message him directly asking when they'll drop, and he tells me, with confidence, "around August 27th". This drop date isn't seeming so verified anymore. When confronted about this, he calls me a "pussy ass bitch" and tells me to "follow up on your Yeezy chats and groups", which of course do not back up any of his claims whatsoever. As if he hasn't dug a big enough hole for himself already, when confronted once again, he says "Everybody is being switched to the V2s that are confirmed Sept 3". Interesting, as the listing is still up and no changes in the decription. Seems like an attempt to extend this scam even further. At this point I come here to warn everyone.
One thing that caused me to order in the first place was the assumption that he had done a successful purchase service with Yeezy 750s which had dropped earlier. It seemed as though he had extra which he was selling earlier. Well, there is four feedback on the 750s in hand. Two of these are duplicates that talk about how the "cop failed due to server errors" with positive feedback and the only other two are negative talking about how they've been waiting over a month to receive the shoes he supposedly had in hand and that they are receiving no communication from vobinator. This makes it sounds like he's extending this scam as long as he can, but interpret it as you will. The feedback on the 350s is interesting. There is no solid proof, but I seem skeptical when reading them. It almost seems like they were written by the same person trying to sound different but I can't prove that. What I do find interesting is the person who "pulled in half a mill" from the last drop. Also, I guess somebody ordered and was also a bit weary. He eventually must've have felt a surge of trust strong enough to use his precious feedback on saying that he was a bit weary on putting in an order, but "vobinator's feedback speaks for itself!." Doesn't a seller having a little over 100 feedback from selling guides really make you feel confident?
This is one of the featured listings and has 34 orders as of now. Everyone beware, and do what you can to warn others. Also, beware of brigading because, by the looks of it, vobinatorEVO loves creating multiple accounts.
I can't believe something that sounded this legitimate turned out to be a scam.
