I enjoy writing, and would like to describe some of my (mis)adventures over the past few years, including those on the Silk Road, in a book. However, I am concerned about government types kicking in my door (who isn't on here though, I suppose) were I were to accidentally or, conceivably, intentionally disclose the name of my vendor account in the course of this writing.
The thing is, I've been waiting for the 5 year statute of limitations to expire based on the last date I broke the law (shipped drugs). But is that based on that date or something else, like converted the BTC to cash or failed to report taxes on my relatively mediocre earnings? Likewise, if they had already opened an investigation into my account some years ago, which I believe to be the case on very good authority, then does the statute of limitations not apply? Or is it that they need to actually file charges to invalidate the SoL?
Just really want to finish this initial memoir I've been working on, and not, you know, get tackled by the FBI in a library after I write it. And end up publishing further books from a cell. Thanks for the advice guys, stay safe out there.
Come on bro you're gonna fuck up the game for those still playing
