Will blockchain technology save the DNM dream?

Monero is obviously a great cryptocurrency to use for DNMs, but cryptos aren't just money. There are some things in the works to allow decentralized website hosting, and even an entire decetralized network. DigitalNote allows secure and discreet messages to be sent in a blockchain.

It seems like there are a lot of other ways to secure the use of buying drugs online than the current methods. Just seems like there's not a lot of demand like there once was, or many users gave up. I don't know. Just tired of bullshit tor sites that inherently require dumb faith and risk, and inevitably shut down

What your describeing pretty much already exists. It's called syscoin. It's a crypto with it's own blockchain that has a decentralized marketplace built into the wallet/blockchain. it's well designed for what I can tell. Fast transfer speed, a plan for expansion/scaling and the whole thing is set up with decent privacy and it runs over Tor for good mesure.

I have always wondered why syscoin doesn't get more talk around here. It's been overshadowed by OB to the point of obscurity but it could be a better alternative.

Fuck is the point when PGP exists?

It really bothers me people are trying to blockchain-ify everything...

particl.io is another project which will (hopefully) deliver our desired tools. It will combine encrypted messaging, a marketplace and, anonymous cryptocurrency and I2P integration. All combined in one user interface called Particl Desktop. There are planing some kind of government features which may prohibit the listing of illegal things publicly but some thing called private listing shall exist. Additionally they claim dapps will be possible. In one way or the other I guess finally a decentralized Darknet Market will exist.

Oh, I found this comparison. It looks like Bitbay is already what we desire. I have no idea why it is under the radar. Are there any downsides I am not aware of?

Yea I have been going to blockchain hackathons and a decentralized marketplace is very possible, we just need to find some ways to innovate around a few shortcoming.
