Hi there,
I have recently began using Tails and I stupidly set up a new PGP without restarting my Mac when enabling GnuPG keyrings in Persistant (even though it prompted me to do so). I then went to my AB account and set up a security feature that makes me decrypt a security message to login. It worked fine.
However, having restarted my Mac since then I have lost my saved PGP key pair on Tails. It no longer exists as part of my Persistent storage and therefore cannot decrypt the security message enabling me to login to AB. I actually HAVE my public key exported into a text file and I have my private key written down. I'm struggling to figure out how to import them as a pair for the software to recognise that I'm the owner and that I'm not trying to import a vendor's public key. Does that make any sense?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Cheers.
Unless you used Paperkey I find that kind of hard to imagine... Are you sure that what you have written down is a complete GPG Private Key?
If so, you can just import it like any other key.
