Signature required, would you?

Packaged was attempted to be delivered while I was out of town. Arrived home to find a post card from USPS saying signature required and can pick up from local post office. Order coming international. Looked up tracking number and it shows it passed through customs.

Either you go pick it up or a package containing drugs sits in a post office with your name on it. I know what I'd do lol

You're postman is just looking out for you. He prob saw your mail piling up and realized you were out of town and was like "woah, i don't want this dudes drugs stolen off da porch ima hold it for him at the post office so its safe"

You weren't at home. You're going to need some ID, the pickup slip and also a signature upon pickup.

This is standard postal procedure.

Standard procedure.

If you recieved the same postcard for a clearnet package what would you do? You would probably go sign for it. If they wanted to execute a CD they probably would deliver to your house anyway. Just have a clean house if you go pick it up. I have had a similar situation and it was no big deal.

Just sign for it.

I had one of those in the recent past. Marked sig req'd. I brought it into the PO handed it to the clerk and he handed me package. No sig or ID requested.

If it is too big to fit in your mailbox this will happen also.
