Kind of freaking myself out here. Does net neutrality repeal screw us?

Since they'll be able to discriminate against which data comes and goes at what rates, do you think this could be the federal governments ace up their sleeve to stop dark net activity? Or at the very least hinder it seriously? Someone calm me down :o (

This subreddit is filled with too many naive & ignorant children.

Block Tor? Of course they're not going to block tor. They don't give a shit, businesses don't have morals. At least, the massive companies or the big multinational corporations don't. What they will do, however, is charge for access. These companies are in business to make money, so that's what they're going to do. If they can make money off it, they will.

Use Tor and the only thing you're ISP gets to share and use and sell about you is that you use Tor! Long live Tor! ......Tor

Yes, you are guaranteed that the ISPs will block access. Will there be a work around? Maybe.

Honestly, no.. The truth of the matter is, there is a shit ton of fear mongering and FUD regarding Net Neutrality.
There really isn't any actual evidence that these "scary things" people keep posting that will happen, will ever actually happen. It is pretty much all strawman arguments.
The truth of the matter is, Net Neutrality as a government policy, has only been in place since mid 2015..

Could it happen? Sure... And it could also theoretically start raining gold... My point is, the chances of these drastic actions actually happening are slim to none. Companies know it would cause massive waves and companies know it would cause their stock prices to massively decrease as well as make more of a case for regulation.
