I know it's a step forward but I still can't get happy when I hear this kind of news: "cannabis has been made legal somewhere for medicinal purposes". I can't get happy because I know that all drugs should be legal since we're the masters of our own bodies.

That is only for terminally ill patients - like for cancer patients for pain.

This was already possible to some extent but is now being made simpler.

This is getting reposted over all of reddit acting like it is a big step. It is not. Medical marijuana was already a thing. It is still a step though.

What's left out here is that its nearly impossible to get a prescription for it. You literally need terminal cancer and have tried everything else to get your hand on medical weed.

So under this new medical legalization, are they allowing it to be shipped via post or does it all have to technically be done with hand to hand transactions? With the way the laws are written here, retailers can't receive their stock through the mail or any other 3rd party because it can't be shipped. Everything has to be driven to its destination by a company employee. This causes long wait-times for stores to receive their new supplies and can even cause shortages sometimes if the producer/processor is on the other side of a closed mountain pass.
