And a bonus pot bust likely unrelated to DNMS: https://www.athensmessenger.com/spotlight/nelsonville-man-charged-with-marijuana-trafficking-in-dorr-run-road/article_e9699727-f3a4-5f5d-ac3f-38e39d22cf60.html
I fuck around a lot with weed because I've always thought that it was a safe drug to deal; that cops didn't really care enough about the substance to put any actual effort into busting people for it.
Suppose I was mistaken..
Sheriff's Deputies, after receiving some "good information"...
...the recipient, Shaquita...
...8 lb box of marijuana...
Zero stealth, zero OPSEC gang-affiliated dirt weed...
...Narcotics Unit followed up on information regarding suspicious packages which had been being delivered to a local business...no evidence that the business was involved in the drug activity.
...picked up by Chynna, who immediately rolled over on her partner, Seddrick...
...8 lbs of marijuana...
Zero stealth, zero OPSEC, gang-affiliated dirt weed being delivered in multi-pound packages to what appears to be a Mailboxes Etc....
Both of these cases are the absolute epitome of low hanging fruit. 99% of the darkweb busts local cops make look like this, including the famous COPS CD, which was also multiple pounds of stinky, non-vacuum non-mylar cellophane-wrapped brick buds in a shitty cardboard box addressed to a shady dude with a misspelled name in a shady apartment complex in a shady part of town. They love it because it makes them feel successful while requiring virtually no effort, and cops are fundamentally lazy creatures after their first 3 years on the force.
Nobody with a functioning brain should be FUD'ed by either of these cases.
