Good BTC buying methods

Hey all, new to this subreddit, but seasoned DNM user. Up until now, I've had a good friend transfer cash -> BTC for me, used Coinbase + tumbler, and recently did my first cash deposit via localbitcoins. Cash deposit was easy enough, just went to a local bank, handed over the cash and slip, no ID was requested... but soon, I'm going to be buying in larger dollar amounts on a more frequent basis. There are zero local Bitcoin sellers near me. Western Union has outrageous fees, and Moneygram is something I am somewhat unfamiliar with.

Rambling aside, can you guys make suggestions for a good way to purchase higher (~500-1000 $ at a time worth) amounts on a semi-frequent basis (1-2 times a week at most) for DNM usage? Maybe I'm just being excessively paranoid, but I fear I would be scrutinized if I did these kind of cash deposits at the bank, considering I'm a pretty young person and cameras could connect back to my identity.

Thanks in advance, guys. :-)

Coinbase, I think, is your cheapest option mate.

You're buying $1,000-2,000 worth of BTC a week right? So hypothetically what you want to do is switch up banks assuming you're reselling on the street. There are about 10 major brick and mortar banks within a 20 mile radius of me. If you switch up between the 10 you'll use on an average the same bank once every 30 or so days, which won't look suspicious at all. You can afford to do the traveling if you're dealing with that kind of money weekly.

Coinbase will flag you if you go over a certain amount per month (see here). Not sure about Circle but they should have a similar system set up. You need to spread out your buys.

Have your friend decide what amount he is comfortable selling you per month, and continue purchasing that amount through him.

If you're concerned about making one large buy, just space it out to multiple smaller buys at different banks.

Or consider looking a little further away for sellers on LocalBitcoins. It could be worth it to take a day trip if it means securing the entirety of your funds anonymously.

If you are forced to open your own Coinbase/Circle account, just tell the bank you started serving tables. I used to deposit thousands in cash a month when I was a server, never had any problems.

it would be cool to be friends with a mining operation and buy from them.

Coinbase works well. You could try Circle, but they have taken weeks to verify my credit card so I don't know wtf.

via person to person is the safest, hands down!

Others have had problems with circle but I personally have not. I can get my BTC instantly and it doesn't take 3-5 days to transfer like coinbase does, instead it reads it like an online purchase or something and is withdrawn within around 24 hrs IME. They have a $2,500 weekly limit, however if that is an issue for you.

Circle funds sent to wallet, bounced around between wallets and then sent to DNM

Fastest option for me now is just going to my local bank with cash in hand and depositing money to a checking account for someone at LBTC, way easier and faster IMO.

If your still looking; I can probably help. I can get btc at market cost. I can sell to you for slight mark up. And we can use lbc or alternative if you want. Using something like moneygram or other prepaid cards would be best to keep you anonymous.

Thanks for all of the ideas, guys. Sorry if I'm necroing this thread a bit. Want to ask all of your advice though, would these kind of cash deposits with no ID at a bank draw any suspicion/scrutiny to me? It was an easy process and I'd do it on a regular basis if it would be considered low-risk.

I am actually in the process of making a website that makes buying btc as easy as possible. My best idea so far is to use paypal as their way of securing and transferring money is both trusted and easy. Besides anyone can set up a paypal account using a throwaway email so I think it should be possible to be semi anonymous because I sure as hell don't bother keeping track on who of you guys buy bitcoin and when you do that would take up way more space than I bother putting into this to begin with.
