Package stuck in "Pre-shipment package label created", am I screwed?

So I FE'd a package from a vendor I've been working with for awhile. This isn't my first time FEing either, about my third with this vendor.

The tracking number was given on the 21st, and it hasn't changed since. He said the snow storm would delay them and I understood but now it's been 5, almost 6 days that it's just said "Package label created".

Also it's 1-2 day shipping, and it's never ever taken more than 2 with this vendor.

Either it hasn't been dropped off yet or it's been dropped off and hasn't been scanned.

Your vendor hasn't dropped the package off at the post office. My tracking didn't update for 5 days and just updated today. Expect major delays, I mean MAJOR, sorting and shipping hubs were all shutdown on the Eastcoast this weekend. Forget "2 day shipping", I've been waiting 6 days for a package also shipped the 21st.

Shipping label created means there is a tracking number but not much else. Not long after that update it would say "Accepted", which means the pack has been dropped off.

Not to worry you but its is unfortunately a common scam scheme to create a shipping label with tracking to provide. If you attempt to dispute they can provide tracking to prove that they "shipped" it when they might not have sent anything at all.

If it was truly dropped off you would see "Accepted at USPS Origin Sort Facility". USPS tracking is bad but its not THAT bad...

This use to happen me a bit when I used shiknip. I dropped some packs off, and they'd go 2-3 days with just Shipping Label Created. Finally, it would give an update saying "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS" and after that within 24 hours it would say acceptance. Only thing I could think of is that the info wasn't sent over yet and they weren't able to scan it, so it sat in the office until the computers caught up.
