So I ordered a pack from Chemical_USA over a week ago. Claims package was "lost."

I asked him to check the tracking and he responded with

"The tracking nunber is coming back as lost, which means:

It got delivered and not scanned (it didn't)

It didn't get scanned somewhere.

It's literally lost?

It got seized but I highly doubt that.

That leaves two options. I can refund you or reship the package."

Why is he so quick to determine it is lost? And why wont vendors let us buyers see the fucking tracking, I don't get it. I asked if he will reship but give me the tracking so I can know when to expect.

This guy seems to have plenty of good feedback so I don't know what's going on.

If you were LE and had access to the tracking number you could coordinate with the PO to pull the package and then try to find the vendor from that.

Yeah I don't get the problem. If he was trying to take your money or not ship again, that would suck. But he's offering to ship again/refund. Only bad part is the delay? But that's it.

What's going on is you're unlucky with the package. But you're lucky with a good vendor- if you got the same thing happening with Amazon, you'd ask for a reship, right? So why not just ask him to reship it?

I dont understand how he can determine with such certainty that the package was lost and was ready to give a refund/ship right away. Is there something in the tracking he could have seen that gave it away? Did he not ever ship?

I'm not complaining or asking for pity. I'm just wondering if anyone out there knows what he saw in the tracking where he immediately knewcyhe package had been lost. He has already refunded me.
