Wiping EXIF data from digital photographs isn't enough. How to guard against sensor fingerprinting, etc?

Wouldn't taking a cropped screenshot of the photograph wipe all data? From the image file's perspective, it's a screen grab. Nothing about the device that took it can be discerned.
This becomes safer if you apply a small filter to it.

That's the same way printers work. They have physical and digital fingerprints. Only work around is to buy the camera with cash and dispose it before you ever get busted. You won't beat fingerprinting with some fancy software.

Properly wiping EXIF data with the built in TAILS utiliy is enough for people posting reviews. The handful of image forensics experts in the world are not going to target you.
The only thing that can be deduced from image anlysis is what type of camera was used to take the photograph. I can assure that camera manufacturers are not covertly fingerprinting user's personal data onto pixels.
If someone really wants to don their tin foil hat and take steps to prevent this, chances are good that the person performing the analysis would be doing so en masse with a custom tool. Slight alteration of the original photo should protect any data from being scraped.
Take a screenshot of the original photo, open that up in photoshop or GIMP, and randomly change color/saturation levels within non-preceptible ranges. Export the new image as a .png, as this file format does not seamlessly integrate EXIF data in the way .jpg does.
Clean the final image with the built in TAILS EXIF data cleaner tool one more time, and the image should be virtually anonymous, considering it's uploaded properly. If someone really wanted to get crazy, they could technically open the image in a hex editor and inspect individual memory addresses for data.

Can you TLDR for the tech illiterate, I get the part that cameras have a digital footprint. So what can you do to ensure anonymity?
I might just stop posting vendor reviews because I'm going to start buying bigger packs...

What if you use an attachable lens to your phonecamera while capturing illicit pics?

there was a post about this 2 days ago
the best and easiest solution is to add another layer of noise
I think gimp can do this
Buying a camera as anonymously as you can and only using it for illicit photos seems the best course of action.
