Would sending your address to the seller using C9 be fine without encryption? The website says that it will automatically encrypt the message if its not encrypted using the seller's public key.
C9 and encryption.

Do it anyways. The best thing about PGP is it protects you and the seller with only a couple seconds inconvenience.
[2 Points] iamjustsomejerk:
always use encryption. and it's best to always use your own offline pgp program.
[2 Points] zee1000:
just spend 5 minuts download pgp encryption and do it your self. its your freedom though.

If the marketplace is ever compromised an adversary (LE or hacker) could gain access to the private key, and then also gain access to your name and address.
Edit: oops, FkkMe is correct, the market in this case is using the vendor's public key. Ignore my nonsense above.
[1 Points] None:
In this case, the market doesn't have the private key. They just have the public key and encrypt your message.
Still a bad idea though.
I would use PGP, you can't trust third parties.
