I think somebody just stole my Alphabay deposit.

I sent about $500 to Alphabay a couple of hours ago. I waited about an hour and logged in to check the status of the deposit and saw that there is no money in my account. I clicked the balance tab.

I have a "finalized" withdrawal for the exact same amount I sent to Alphabay to an address that I definitely do not own that was processed like 15 minutes after my BTC was deposited in Alphabay.

I have not withdrawn funds from Alphabay today.

Any of the URL's I use to log into Alphabay are copied from the sidebar and have been stored in a text file.

I rarely use this account and have no idea why anyone would have my pin and password and know I deposited money in my account like 15 minutes after I sent it.

So, this is some pretty sketchy shit. This is not FUD. I think somebody just stole my deposit and I need to screencap the withdrawal before it gets purged from my balance tab.

What the fuck?

Windows or tails?

Probably has something to do with AlphaBay reusing deposit addresses.

Did you deposit into an old wallet address? If so, it probably showed up in someone else's account. This dumb "feature" of the market is enough to prove that alpha is incompetent.

OP, have you seen this thread from yesterday? A vendor reported a similar occurance:

I just fucked around with the blockchain and followed the taint from the original sender address, to alphabay to the unauthorized withdrawal and it took about 45 minutes total.

My password and pin work just fine.

I have no issues with Alphabay, because they have 40,000 drug listings and I use Alphabay to get my drugs.

I'm not fucking retarded. I never had my account phished. Some shifty Russian bastard just stole my money.

I am afraid someone gained access to your account. If someone gets your credentials but you have no money, they will let you keep your account, but note your deposit address and monitor it. When the coins arrive, they login and clean your wallet. The best solution is to always use 2FA, official links.

[1 Points] dnmuse:

Dude, have you been reading any threads about AlphaBay?

They are stealing new deposits while claiming EVERYONE who has missing funds are going to phishing sites. Why anyone would put serious funds into their site is beyond me.

Message me on the market with all possible account info. I'm trappy

When the alphabay wallets became one-way on saturday 12th dec, I checked it's balance using walletexplorer.com, The entire site contained 130btc, compared to 4000btc on Nucleus. Even Agora still contains more liquidity!

I find Prague-based walletexplorer very reliable, but straight after, something strange happened that makes me no longer trust it. It not only stopped updating live, but all the transactions from Dec 12th disappeared.

I suspect some additioinal wallets have been added in to alphabay's site total. I worked backwards to the same date and time it was 130 btc, and the balance was much larger.

And yesterday, somebody injected 133 btc back in

Post the screenshot and bitcoin addresses involved. Then we could substanciate what you claim...

Also why does this NEVER happen to anyone using 2FA?

I think it's unlikely anyone got your PIN though, that much makes sense.

This same exact shit happend to me. They even changed my password on my account. Contact AB support and be very assertive. This is NOT your fault, unless you took the link from somewhere else. I do not believe that is the case tho.
