Apple Market Forum

Apple market is pleased to announce the launch of it's forum, As usual everyone is invited and we hope you all have an amazing time on the forum.

We have been working hard on the community voting system we talked about earlier and we hope that in a couple of weeks we will have something to beta test with the community. We hope that giving you the power to vote will give you more control over your fate and build a more transparent market.

We want to thank all of our early adopters who have bought something on the market along with the vendors who are the first to list, we are pleased to have you on-board and we hope that you grow with us.

/u/octomarvel are both moderators on the market and as we grow we will be adding more.

Apple forum is located at http://ubw577imrzpcixiq.onion/

EDIT: Oasismarket please provide PROOF that we have an SQL injection problem This was a post to announce our forum but you turned it into this.

Hello,

We usually don't post anything like this, but we'd like to inform the community that Apple Market is leaking sensitive information, and it's obviously not managed by professionals. We've tried to contact them many times via ticket, but they didn't reply. (We actually can't login anymore).
OPSec must be your first thought, you're not protecting yourself and you're not protecting your users.

We're still available to help, but as of now, we can only suggest NOT TO use this market, sorry.

Oasis

I have some questions about the voting system if you wouldn't mind settling my discomforts with it:

  1. Users will respond to support tickets.

  2. Users will vote to resolve disputes.

  3. Users will vote to ban and suspend vendors.

I know you've gone into ways to decrease ways that ANYONE could vote by requiring them to have at least one successful order, but doesn't this whole system introduce the new possibility of corruption from certain vendors and even users? Such as a vendor being able to create 'fake' successful orders, and then by such having many accounts to sway the vote in their favour whether it be through their own issues or through affecting other vendors. Isn't there also the possibility of malicious behavior of certain users for just the sake of being malicious?

I understand that these probably wouldn't be something that is consistently happening, but isn't it very much a probability given the state of the market we're in (such as the abundance of shills and such).

/u/coffeencreme brought up the point:

Yeah something like this could work, but then why let users vote in the first place then?

In response to you saying:

the final decision will rest with the market Admin

Isn't that true? The user vote holds no more value than any other market if at the final step the admin can go against the general vote if they feel that their opinion holds greater value than the community's. And if all is such the case, what is even the point of the vote other than giving the user the idea of control other than the actual ability to influence the decisions of the market.

this is what oasis market wrote in response to their "we msged them"

"Hello, About 2 weeks ago? Tickets system seemed broken, we didn't get any message back anyway and then our account wasn't working anymore. Don't ask us for our username because it was just random characters and we don't have those details anymore since we thought it was just deleted. Oasis"

thats a load of horsecrap :D GL shaming both of these markets, personally i will never touch oasis after seeing them write like that.
