Tracking says it's been delivered. (UK)

I've been given a tracking number for an order I made which hasn't turned up yet.. However it's stating that it's been delivered and have proof of a signature...

What can this mean? How can I resolve this?

Could it be accidentally delivered to a neighbours? Flatmates wouldn't have taken it and also I'm right by the front door so I'd hear the knock, and yes I was up since early to ensure it wasn't missed.

Could it be a CD? It's not even that big of a pack and it's not even me who signed for it for proof of ownership.

Thanks.

you should be able to see the signature on the RM tracking website?

is it RM signed for, or RM special delivery?

If special delivery, check the tracking and make sure the delivery office is the same delivery office that is local to you. if not, message the vendor and show him.

if you know your mailman, and it is same mailman next day, just show them the tracking info and ask whatsup. act like youre expecting an Amazon or eBay item, they deal with antsy people every day. when i was worried about a missing pack here in USA, i staked out the drop, saw the mailman was around my age and just went right up to him (i didnt live there) i showed him my tracking page pulled up on phone and he honestly told me "they got that one man"

i love my letter carriers, i chat with them whenever possible and just knowing their routine, or who to expect can help you in the event of a real CD. most places, the same person delivers every day, but some places use more than one worker. if you're in a small area where there's normally the same guy delivering each day, and all of a sudden, a new guy shows up with your pack, thats when you get suspicious. your normal mailman will never be involved in a CD, ever.
