Does domestic USPS Express require signing?

Not 100% sure. I know I had to sign for it once, and it might have been a no sig required even. Sometimes even if there isn't one required the postman will still ask. Also, with express, don't be surprised if you get a different mailman. The 1 time I got express (unknowingly ) I had a guy in plain clothes, in a personal auto deliver the parcel. I found out after thay due to the specific time constraints on express ship that they contract people out sometimes to deliver or even have non delivery postal workers take them out for delivery

I've had mailman ask for signature even though the vendor waived it needing to be signed. Just depends on the outsourced deliverer.

Nope. It doesn't have to require it. It's an option though. Hopefully a DNM vendor wouldn't require it. I did get a clearnet package sent Express where "waived signature" was selected and usps did hold it at PO for a signature and required one. So mistakes happen. The times I've orders express for a DNM pack a signature was never required nor asked for
