I am working on a market which addresses two issues with current TOR based markets:
- Confiscation: This system does not runs on top of TOR, it uses the bitmessage network and can be easily mirrored by the admin over an infinite amount of devices without additional network load due to the decentralized nature of bitmessage.
- Scam: The market owner cannot steal bitcoins because he never get to see any. Users buy stuff over the market, but they communicate directly with the seller over bitmessage and not via the market.
Feel free to contribute any ideas in the Bitmessage subredit: http://www.reddit.com/r/bitmessage/comments/1ucfl7/bitmarket_a_decentralized_confiscation_proof_open/
