LE visit while away

LE paid me a visit while I was away, other in my house let them in(dont ask pls), only found personal amounts of left overs and parapharnlia. Mid way in the search, I met them at the front door. Ofcourse the shake started. My legs didnt want to stop from shaking. After 30sec, I started to calm down, because I knew nothing was inside except for small personal amounts. Started threatning me with sleeping in a cell if I did not show them where the rest is. I agreed to allow them to search the whole property, even accepted them to bring dogs. They started searching in every place, nothing more was found.

I had to go to work tomorrow or the job is lost and I would be more fucked, so I said "no comment" to every question except I said the drugs found belonged to me. I did this for many different reasons, one, to not get fired from job.

Question: They got my phone, which is not a big deal, nothing int here except for a couple of pictures that they found interesting(big amounts of powder and other small things) they secured the evidence by taking picture of the pictures, so to the question; Can I turn my iphone in as "lost" and lock it down through iphones locking app? without any repricution from LE? Or is that interfering with evidence?

Back-story: One package never showed up, this was last year(personal amount, 28g weed, no tracking) I cleaned house for 4 months, and nothing happend. I assumed scammed or seized, so in a way, I was expecting them, since I moved all my stash away. After 5 months I couldnt resist from having 1-2g to smoke my self before bed. I also had a couple of presses from the other day out, press was inside a jacket and the 1-2g was on me when I came home, of course they found them and naked searched me.

After 3 hours I showed them the door, even though they wanted to stay longer. Through all this, I asked to talk to my lawyer, but they said, "ok, then we have to let you sleep at the station until the day after" I wasnt allowed to even call him. But these pigs knew my weak spot.

To clarify, where im from shouldnt matter, as my only question is regarding locking the phone, would that be against the law somehow? I just want to shove one thing in their smug faces, as they did to me.

Locking it or deleting it remotely would get you obstruction, and once you do that you are just nerfing your chances at getting out of the charges.

You shouldn't have given them your phone or anything, and when you saw them at the door demanded a warrant and told them you would not consent if they did not supply one as well as only talking to them through a lawyer. Your roommates consenting is shitty, not sure what to tell you. Get a lawyer on retainer and tell him everything and anything if they are going to press charges, a lawyer is the only person who can help you now. And do not talk about anything to anyone outside of your lawyer, the mistakes in this paragraph are the most common and shouldn't be. Police are not there to help you if they are investigating you, everything you say will hurt you, and nothing you say will help you.

" where im from shouldnt matter"..... I think it matters because each country has their own laws about what is considered tampering, spoilation, obstruction, etc...

Better Call Saul.

Seriously though, hire a lawyer and figure this shit out without the counsel of redditors.

When you get arrested they read you verbatim here in the USA 'Anything you say can and WILL be used against you'

Dumb dumb dumb OP..

[3 Points] DNMShopper:

At least tell us if this is USA please, it accually does matter.

[1 Points] DNMd:

They couldn't stop you from making a call if you weren't being detained and hauled off. They get hard and intimidate, it's their prerogative. You did pretty good for not having a plan though you shouldn't have given your phoen over willingly. You're not in the clear to wipe/lock your phone. They already seen the pics, don't make it any worse by adding a destruction of evidence/hindering an investigation or anything like that.

So you are saying they came to your location because of that missing package 5 months prior? That's kind of scary.

Hey I am sorry for your situation though it sounds like you handled it well - can OP clarify how it is known that the missing pack from 6 mos ago was the cause? This seems like something I have not seen before on here at all. A 28g pack goes missing and then 6mos later a problem ... is this really the only tipping point here? And what's gone on in the interim do you figure? surveillance, building a case, waiting on the paper work, monitoring more packs, just getting around to it?
