How do vendors pay for their shipping anonymously?

As the title says, how do vendors do this without resorting to stamps? I have received packages with prepaid printed shipping labels and I don't understand how they purchase that without being suspicious. Any idea?

Maybe there is a good reason some vendors use stamps?

Its not hard to walk into a post office and buy a few hundred dollars in stamps.... also technology and prepaid shipping derrrrrr. Just like they are anonymous on that marketplace and reddit they can also purchase shipping anonymously.. derrrrrr

Dude, this is the US Postal Service we're talking about, not CIA. They process 158 billion pieces of mail a year and are more concerned about the $5.5billion annual deficit they are in. The domestic packages that get profiled are the ones that stink of weed, look like a unibomber package, or something that LE has already been investigating.

The only vendor I know of who got busted by printing stamps was the doctor who was stealing from the hospital. She was using her own eBay shipping account, ordering supplies from her personal Amazon account, had her picture taken at the post office self service kiosks, and a bunch of other stupid shit.

Also, vpn's and tor are completely legal and used by more than just drug vendors.

same way you buy drugs off the dark net ;) look for shipping supplies.

The ones I've encountered all use stamps, print the label, and are able to notify USPS ahead of time that a fully ready package is about to be dropped off. Stamps are great because you can pay cash and they don't go bad. The prepaid shipping labels seem like less of a good idea, since they could potentially link to the vendor's personal information, if not done anonymously.

How do vendors do any of this without being at least a little suspicious? It's impossible. For a vendor with a trustworthy connect, this is probably the most dangerous aspect of the operation. There have been a couple stories about LE investigating the shipping after they have identified a potential vendor. However, a vendor can make things safer by hiring someone else to physically deliver fully formed parcel the post office, using multiple post offices, putting a believable return address(like a nursing home), making the package look as professional as humanly possible, and using decent stealth/decoy to prevent both human and K9 screening. If a package profile were to circulate amongst post inspectors, the more parcels it looks like the lower the chance of being found. For this reason, using pre-paid postage over stamps may help it blend in better if this is what most businesses do.

However, LE may be able to profile vendors through the markets, make a purchase to see what post office was used, order again then watch the office after the vendor has just sold a bunch of product. This must take a lot of time and getting a search warrant difficult if the vendor is using multiple people to drop at a rotation of post offices.

If you really want to learn more, make a bunch of small orders from vendors with good reviews on shipping and see what they do. Another option is to offer a vendor money to consult on shipping. This is a little sketchy, but worth a shot if you want to do things right.
