I have a PO box to which I've ordered a few things. There were two products from two different sellers that I had been awaiting, so I checked my PO box today to find one of them in there, as well as a delivery notice for the other. I found this odd, as I would assume that the product I ordered would be in an envelope rather than a parcel, and I've always believed that one usually only ever receives a delivery notice for parcels too big for a mailbox or PO box.
The delivery notice has very little information on it. There are checkboxes to indicate whether the item was a parcel or a letter, and neither of them are checked off. There is a portion of the slip where they indicate what time the item will be available to be picked up (in my experience, it's usually the next business day), but it's left blank. Only the date that the notice was prepared is filled in, but the time isn't. It too has been left blank. I've never seen a delivery notice like this before.
I've only ordered two other items to this PO box, and both of them were successful deliveries. The first was a week or two ago, and the envelope didn't even have a return address, which I thought was sketchy as fuck and bad stealth, but the fact that it got to me probably demonstrates that it didn't raise any suspicion. The second one was an envelope that I just picked up tonight. It too looks kinda suspicious to me. Like, instead of having a printed return address/company logo, that information is just pasted on. Combined with the fact that it's from the Netherlands (I'm in Canada) and the company name sounds all New-Agey, I feel like it just screams "OPEN ME I HAVE DRUGS INSIDE." But that envelope got to me, too, so I guess it also mustn't had tipped anybody off.
However, I am wondering if maybe this one I got a notice for was intercepted, and perhaps if the fact that this is a recently-rented PO box that has had three sketchy envelopes sent to it within a month attracted attention.
Is this likely to be a CD? Should I try to pick it up, or just leave it be and call it a loss? For either option, what can law enforcement do to me? If this is a CD, could a cop reasonably get a warrant to search my home if I don't pick it up? Should I worry about cleaning up my place and removing any illicit material/circumstantial computer evidence (TOR)? All I've ordered, and all I have in my home, are drugs for personal use, not crazy amounts a seller would have. Am I in any danger right now?
Thanks.
