[Vendor/MarketInquiry] Colorado? Normal?

Yesterday there was a big thread about Colorado not honoring his special for 4/20, and canceling orders that would have qualified for free product. The person says that the order was accepted, then canceled, and it was because it wouldn't get there by 4/20 and the vendor had offered free product if it didn't make it in time. Colorado admitted he canceled it, admitted it wouldn't have arrived in time, and attacked the person as if Agora being down was their fault. Everyone agreed with Colorado- why? How did everyone know the first person was scamming?

I'm new to the markets and I'm worried- I don't have much money, and I want to be comfortable that I'm going to get the price/service advertised. What do people know about Colorado that I should know? Or other vendors? Is there some way to tell people are lying that he canceled their orders?

Colorado is good, Agora went down at the worst timing and pretty much fucked over that vendor. Then a bunch of little kids got upset because they want to blame it solely on the vendor and get free weed. I think he's on vacation mode until Agora is fully fixed but I wouldn't have any worries going with him.

Thought I'd chime in here since I did post in that thread and have experience with Coloraro (1 order) but, while not yet a DNM veteran, am a fairly seasoned DNM buyer and long time users of illicit substances.

IMO Colorado is a stand up vendor and I will happily order from him again in the future (if Agora isn't exiting or if he moves to BB). So if you are looking from something from him then IMO I say you are safe to order (as safe as ordering on DNM or drugs in general).

However, let me say these few things as a general rule of thumb to someone who sounds very green on the markets: * Do not spend money you can't afford to lose. This is the Golden Rule of drugs in general. * Research, research, research. Before I order from a new vendor I spend plenty of time scouring Grams, reddit, other markets and anything I can find about anyone who has done business with them. I also have a standing rule of not doing business with anyone with < 500 deals or a less than 95% rating. Just my rule. I do break this on occasion when a trusted vendor hits a new market (confirmed by PGP) or a trusted vendor reviews or uses someone. * Gut/Faith. When I first started out I had no clue what I was doing (market-wise not tech, if you need tech help start in the n00bs section). So other than research (which I had very few sources of) I went with a gut feeling. That is also why I chose Agora over Evo. Something just didn't feel right about Evo and did about Agora. I dodged a big bullet on that one.
* Escrow, escrow, escrow. Stay away from FE and at least you'll have a better than none chance to get your coin back if something doesn't work out. I have broken this rule as well based on certain circumstances (like for a super stand up vendor like MrNiceGuy007 - I call him out b/c he is the man) but in general if you can escrow do so. I'll also FE on certain order from my vendor pack if I can get a decent discount.

I try and do reviews on my experiences but I don't always get around to them and sometimes if a small order I won't fully review. But feel free to read through my posts (this is a newish reddit account so there aren't a ton) and see who I liked and didn't.

Hope this helps.

~Cheers

Dude, the reason everyone sided with Colorado is because he's awesome. I ordered 4/13, the site went down, he accepted the order 4/19, marked it shipped yesterday and sent me back my coin since it's after 4/20. Anyone saying he didn't honor his agreement is full of shit. I got weed on the way and all my money back- I can't say enough good things about Colorado!
