What software do DNMs use? Do you trust some software over others?

I'm curious if other DNM users/vendors know what kind of software these markets are running, and if you have preferences/concerns regarding it.

It seems pretty obvious that some markets, eg TOM and panacea are running the same software. Is that the open source software that is being developed? I forget the name offhand. Do you guys trust that software or are there concerns about it?

Are the big ones (agora, evo, blackbank) all custom software, or do they use some modified version of something retail or open source? Are there any known issues with them?

cheers

As soon as I saw your first question in the title, I knew you didn't know what the fuck you were talking about.

Not sure if this helps, but gwern's site about DNMs and their lifespan shows the "codebase" of a few.

I think OP forgot to sign his post with his department and badge number.

That's about the only way it could come off any more LE-ish.

If you are running a market and are relying on something that's not reviewed open source or custom, you're insane.

I think most run on Lotus Notes.
