Does anyone else have tape over their webcam and disabled their microphone by drilling a hole in the motherboard or am I just paranoid?

I guess I should also mention I keep my phone in a faraday cage I made out of copper wire and some velvet and live under an assumed identity then, don't have a bank account and pay for everything in cash...
Yep. The foil is thick with this one.

Honestly can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. If you're genuinely serious, then you're paranoid.
[2 Points] DefinitelyADruggie:
Nah I do it too. It's relatively easy to access a computers mic/webcam, especially if it was the government doing it. It's paranoid, of course, but paranoia saves lives ;)

If anybody ever got into your machine insofar as they can access your mic and webcam, trust me, you're fucked. Period. Duct tape won't do shit for the storm you're gonna face
Know whats a better target than your webcam or mic? Your data. All of it. That hard drive in your machine has ALL of your written records, and you'd be surprised how much computers write down on your behalf. It could all go over the network and you'd be none the wiser.

I always keep my webcam taped over anyway.

That hat you're wearing is made of the highest grade aluminum available isn't it? Reynolds I'm assuming. Classy.

Actually, just to be safe, after placing an order, be sure to fully dismantle and destroy your entire CPU, PSU, GPU, MOBO, and especially HDD and SSD. Otherwise you will surely be tracked and hunted down by man-eating bear police
