Is Dream Market being actively shilled in this sub?

I think it is. What do you guys think?

Negative posts about Dream are downvoted or dismissed as "FUD" despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Positive posts about most other markets are taken down or accused of "shilling". Never happens with Dream, though.

Lastly, has anybody read Dream Market forums in the last month (particularly the vendor forum)? If you are wondering why vendors are leaving, read that and you will quickly see the reasons.

EDIT:

It's funny watching them scramble to downvote this faster than people can upvote it, yet almost all of the downvoters never bother to explain anything or even leave a simple comment stating that they disagree.

If you downvote, please add to the discussion so we can get some clarity as to what is going on here. Assuming the downvoters even read the post, of course. My bet is that they don't, and they are engaging in the exact behavior I am trying to bring to light.

I just had 252 dollars vanish from my account lol and no i am sure i didnt get phished

[20 Points] InsanityDRM:

The few posts every now & then about people losing funds don't concern me. The only funds I lost was during the 'hardware failure'.

I only lost a couple of quid because I don't leave funds in the market, just like anybody else shouldn't. Since then I've done thousands in withdrawals/deposits on Dream & had no issues. I always get the PGP signed message that proves my account owns the deposit address in case anything ever does go wrong. By following these basic steps I have little reason not to use Dream, orders come through every time because I buy from reputable vendors & I can always withdraw/deposit without issues. Dream is currently the biggest market & has by far more phishing pages/attempts directed towards it than other markets, and people don't like to admit their own stupidity. Dream has over 800,000 users & the few threads every now & then are just the idiots getting phished & the occasional genuine unhappy customers which you are bound to get with such a large userbase. Support may not be the best but they do answer unlike people claiming they don't.

Since this is a fresh account, I'm most likely a shill too ;)

Nevertheless - I use DNMs since SR1 and ordered on every major market at least once. Dream is imho the most shady one yet - mainly because of their "hardware failure". Never had so much doubt using a market. But since options are limited rn and I love ordering drugs, I gave Dream a try.

Sent a "small" amount (~250$) to my Dream wallet - went through after 2 confirmations (about 30 minutes) - and ordered 1g methamphetamine, 10 X2 bars and 10g weed (all domestic). That was on monday. So far I received the meth and the bars - weed seems to be otw.

Probably going to do a review on the meth later on to make me less "shilly" ... and cause meth-writing is quite nice.

tl;dr: imho Dream is shady af, but I tried it and had no issues

edit: to answer your question: yes

Is Dream being shilled on this market?

Do you think?

[4 Points] 12InchesOfSlave:

my impression was that it's the exact opposite. which is the reason why I leave no chance to say that dream has always worked for me and all you ever hear is about people keeping their coins in their market wallets for way too long until they get stolen. but if you do that you don't have your opsec down anyway. what I'm trying to say is that dream has its flaws just like every other market but we can't deny that it's working

[3 Points] smokedgayweedanddied:

I havent seen anything but complaints regarding dream, I always forget how big it is until i see a vendor i know make an announcement stating theyre on Dream, so I kind of disagree with you.

[3 Points] stabBarbie:

Yes they are actively shilling for the market while removing them from the superlist which drives tons of traffic to other sites, that makes a lot of sense.

[3 Points] bynarie:

i also never lost any btc on dream

You on the money Booty, I haven’t and will never use Dream for the reasons you have stated.

If you’ve been around long enough and are at least somewhat resourceful then Dream is of zero consequence to you.

No need to tempt fate with a market and its “support” staff acting the way they do.

[1 Points] fonkeepockle1:

I've never had a problem with Dream. Dozens of successful transactions, had 1 dispute with no problems resolving it. But I'm a small-time buyer. If I bought bulk or wanted to vend I might be a little more wary with Dream.

Bottom line is I've had zero problems with them. And if I do end up getting scammed then oh well, I don't leave money on the market and if I get scammed 1 time out of dozens of times I won't be too upset about it.

[1 Points] Yurgadrugig:

I legit don't get it either. Like ok, Dream had the "hardware failure," right. And literally everyone knows it's bullshit. But like, just nobody cares? Why do people still use it?

[1 Points] DNM_FuckFace:

Naw I placed a few orders and recieved them all. Except one u/GrandWizardsLair :(

[1 Points] Eatup2390:

😂 guess we’ll have to wait and see

[1 Points] livesindarkness:

A couple of weeks have passed without any issues with Dream. It's possible that the admin scammer has run off to Bermuda with his money. Of course, this is just a guess. There's also the possibility that he's leading everyone to believe the site is reliable again only to do the exact same thing in a month or two.

[1 Points] publicenemynumerouno:

If you're reading this look at my account and the posts I've made. There are active shills within the Reddit boards. No one actively protects a market like these idiots who've posted in my threads.

[1 Points] Naskoooo:

Do you guys think dream market is trustworthy right now? I’ve seen a lot of people saying the actual market took their money

[0 Points] bynarie:

i do believe dream has been compromised. i got an order but it wasnt anything illegal, just lab supplies
