Do *NOT* deposit money into Ross' commissary account! Here's why..

As someone that spent 11 years in USP Big Sandy, I am quite familiar with these matters. So listen up.

There is a policy in the federal prison system known as the, "Inmate Financial Responsibility Program" (IFRP). This policy is used to levy the prison commissary accounts of inmates that owe either restitution, fines, special assessments or on occasion, have an unpaid child support judgement.

Ross apparently "owes" the federal government nearly $200 million Dollars. They know they'll never get it..but they will take whatever they can from him, not out of any sense of justice, but out of spite. Life in prison is not enough. These people seek to take your soul.

Ross will only be permitted to keep a very small amount each month (well under the $290, or whatever the limit is now, monthly commissary limit) We're talking like $40/mo he'll be able to spend on toiletries. That's it.

How do people get around this? Simple...find another inmate and deposit into their account and have them go to the commissary for you. There are plenty of indigent lifers in USPs that would love a free $50/mo in commissary to let someone deposit money into their account. (This is against prison policy, however. Inmates will receive a "shot" for this. An incident report is referred to as a "shot" in the federal prison system.)

Ross is still a little ways away from being able to sort this all out...he's about see a side of prison life he never knew existed. USPs are not like MCCs or MDCs like where's he's already been. I second his mother's concern for his personal safety.

To the law enforcement reading this: I know there's nothing I can say that would offend you. You're the good guys, after all. I could say that I have no idea how you sleep at night...but in fact, I do know: Ignorance is bliss.

Keep on being the good guys. Your selfless pursuit of protecting us all from the Big Bad Wolf is...admirable.

I fucking hate the feds, the US government, and simply anybody that supports the terrorist organization known as the US government. I really do. "He owes us 200 million..." for fucking what? For standing up for what he fucking believes in and helping thousands of people get their products they desire easy and safely? Does that make him a bad fucking guy? You want your fucking money, stop being dumbshits and legalize drugs and collect money that way you stupid fucks.

Like you said "smurf" the thousands in bitcoin to multiple lifers in Ross' new home and basically buy him a crew with snacks and candy!

Max out say 10 random lifers commissary for the year and say they split the spoils 50/50 with Ross. That is over $1,000 a month in underground currency in the US Prison system. In addition you would have 10 guys who eat well and have their own currency because of you. That makes means and allies. I am sure Ross can drum up the rest needed to become the new shot caller! LOL!

P.S. Yes I realize this is hard--->impossible to work out. Hopefully someone in his family is working hard now on it. Then just send bitcoin to Ross's middle man and the smurfs get funded!

Like all things it can be done, but under what circumstances.

Also Federal prisons are usually a lot calmer than state prisons.

With all due respect to you, you have absolutely no idea what the fuck you're talking about.

Until you've spent years in both, keep these sorts of thoughts in your head and out of everyone elses.

Just because you've seen MSNBC Lockup doesn't make you an expert. Sorry.

The proceeds from the sale of the seized bitcoins go towards paying restitution.

Fed experience here, I wasn't behind the wall, so my experience isn't going to be close to what a USP inmate's would be. However I do have a suggestion that applies to all Federal inmates.

We all know Ross was well educated...and bc of his classification as a violent offender (bait-n-switch by Govt), he is going to have a * lot * of reading time ahead of him. A book, magazine subscription or newspaper is pocket change to those of us on the outside of the wall...but you can't imagine how far an annual subscription to "insert media here" goes to those who are behind the wall.

If we all coordinated our efforts in unison (an enventual sticky) to send different and new; soft-covered books (most Federal USP's book selection is minimal/degraded), magazine subscriptions and even annual newspaper subscriptions that would be of interest to him, this would help Ross a great deal.

Obviously, use your discretion on what you decide to send him (ex. High Time is no bueno). They all have their own rules (or make them up as they go).

I would like to become a pen pal. Is it safe for direct correspondence using my real identity? I don't want to be put on any watch list.

[3 Points] AgoraRises:

Yeah I was afraid of that.

[5 Points] invaderzoom:

How did they come up with this amount? And what exactly is it owed for? Taxes?

[4 Points] Joey2781:

The money you owe in fines (ie Ross millions) is not paid by your commissary fund. They may pull some out for medical expenses and a daily fee (couple bucks) but most places guarantee that money deposited into your account will have 50% go to commissary.

[3 Points] None:

or we could raise over the 10 million and then hook up Ross!!!!

...yeah i know its a terrible idea ='( donate to his appeal fund instead

There is more freedom in prison usually than there is jail. Also Federal prisons are usually a lot calmer than state prisons.

[1 Points] ArcherDNM:

What a fucking shame. Sorry that you have the misfortune of knowing this, and sorry that Ross will have it also...

Thanks

Can confirm. Watching Orange is the New Black.

[-3 Points] defiantlyfucked:

Thanks for the concern, but I'm going to down vote this.

If what you predict does in fact play out, I am pretty sure the word will get out.

There is no need to scare aware people looking to help.
