Letter searched by Customs but nothing taken out of it

I bought some heroin from SR2 a few weeks ago (before all the drama started). It finally arrived from overseas, but the letter had a sticker saying that it had been inspected by Customs.

Upon opening the letter, the silver (foil?) bag had clearly been cut open to look inside. Nothing had actually been removed though - the stamps were all in there and appeared untampered with.

I haven't taken any of them yet, but the vendor always had excellent reviews so I can only assume that it's legit.

What's going on here? Why would Customs correctly identify something that needs to be searched, cut it open, but then ignore the drugs inside and allow it to be delivered anyway?

I remember hearing cases like this back on SR1. No one really knows why it happens, but it does rarely. With something like this, it's always good to exercise caution. Don't go burning down your house, but don't keep your drugs their too. Play it safe and give it some time.

That being said, that's pretty weird.

Are you still free OP? Love to hear a follow up.

It would be ideal to tell us who the vendor is so we can stay the fuck away from him. IF his package was opened that means they are already on to that type of stealth..

That's really odd. Maybe you got lucky I don't know, but I would avoid ordering international for a while.

BTW, did you encrypt your address? I think SR 2 is a honeypot.

Can you tell me what week you placed your order. Just a general 7 day period would do. I'm trying to figure out something..

YOu know it was some half asleep government worker.

Whats this powder? That anthrax? oh, looks like its only heroin, fuck it, I got a break coming up and that seems like a lot of paperwork.

rule #1 of ordering is DON'T FUCKING MAKE INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

anyway, if they didn't confiscate it, they probably didn't know what it was. they just saw it wasn't anything dangerous and sent it through. you're fine i'm sure. i wouldn't continue to make international orders though

Damn that's freaky! I've never heard of something like this before, hopefully it's all good and they where looking for something else?

maybe its just a warning? dont do it again from international?

someone posted this exact scenario about ordering heroin from goingpostal

[2 Points] queryox1:

If they were planning on busting you or gathering evidence they would not have left a "inspected by customs" note on it, they dont want you to know they are on to you.

I have received a letter that was ripped in half, the pills were visible in a baggy, the mail put it in a plastic bag and wrote on it "Sprry your mail arrived this way". Either its postal employees who dont give a fuck, or they generally dont think it was drugs the way it was packaged? Hard one really.

About 10-12 years ago I ordered shrooms from Amsterdam. This was way pre-darknet, like geocities or something just order and hold your breath. About 6 weeks later it came in a plain manilla envelope, nothing else in there just a half oz of shrooms floating around the envelope. It had been clearly opened and retaped with an inspected by customs sticker on it. Sometimes they just don't care or recognize what they're looking at I guess?

Do all the dope.

It might have just registered as some sort of powder and gone through bioterrorism (anthrax, ricin, etc) screening, and they might have needed to break the vacuum seal to do that. That screening would most likely not pick up on heroin. You lucked out. Don't order from overseas again, or internationally at all, if you can help it.
