I've got my Tin Foil hat on in regards to Trade Route right now.

So I sent a message to Support yesterday asking about a withdrawal I made two days ago that was still stuck on "unconfirmed transaction" on the blockchain. I merely asked them "if my withdrawal gets returned back to the address I had on Trade Route, would it show up in my account or would it be lost to me for good". I basically asked how long old wallet addy's were good for. The response: "I'm gonna forward this to the correct department and they will be getting back to you shortly".

How the duck do you get in a "support" position on a darknet Marketplace and not know how long old addresses are good for?!

All I'm trying to figure out is: Did I just get a response back from a cop?

More than likely it's their support guy who doesn't have a damn clue what you're talking about.

As for your tin foil hat, what are you smoking? meth? lmao

Most likely the support person doesn't know and has to ask the developer. The support person is likely someone with limited tech skills who can solve 90% of day to day issues, but some questions are too tricky.

BTC wasn't designed to handle the number of transactions that are trying to get thru at the moment, and there's no timeout. No one knows how long it will be stuck. Did the TR developer think of this when he coded the software? If so, how did he choose to handle stuck transactions?

Just what I thought when read this:

"I'm gonna forward this to the correct department

But to be honest I think previous posters were right and it's just support incompetence.

You have to realize that 'hired help' isn't the same as with legal businesses. No 'support' monkey, on any of the markets, is likely to have any kind of access/ability to resolve issues or be in-the-know on technical aspects. It's a 'trust' issue in an illegal business. They're being paid to log into a account that all tickets forward to, and separate the chaff from the wheat. For every request like yours, there's probably 50 that read: "Bruh, where my btc at?"

I mean ... come on ... that's fuckin' funny.

If OP lives in a rural setting, then surely it will be a sheriff's department that will be getting back to him shortly.

If he is an urban dweller, then he can expect his local police department to get back to him.

These support guys, they always answer your questions with some questions of their own, don't they?

OP: "If I refund my order, will I get my bitcoin back?"

Leo, from Support: "What is your address? That way I can get the correct department out to you right away."

OP: "The address is ... uh ... 3QJmV3qfvL9SuY—"

Leo, from Support: "I'm sorry to interrupt. Did I say, 'right away?' What I meant to say was that they would be getting back to you shortly. We have you marked in the 'small-time buyer' column ... so, let's see ... we're looking at the first or second week of December, so still in time for Christmas!"

OP: "Wait ... what?!"
