Renting apart

Question for all the people out there who sell.

I have a normal job as well, but my income woulnd't be enough to rent an apartment, and still have money left over to live life. So, my question is, how do you guys try and prove your income when it comes to leasing an apartment? Do you just tell them you make cash at your work and hope they approve you?

Let me hear what y'all have to say. Thanks!

Renting agents get commission for renting out units, not for verifying that your proof of income is valid: They have guidelines for the types of acceptable proof, but aren't expected to be forensic scientists. I once gave my agent a (really bad) fake and the agent just glanced at the final number and tucked it away in his folder.

Think about it from the perspective of the apartment owners. If you tell them that you earn large amounts of money from a "side gig" then they will immediately assume drug dealer. Dealers are a high risk categorize Tenant that are trouble and attract trouble, and might make my life more difficult for me and my other Tenants in the building.

You'll need a pay stub of some kind payments. Forgery services may work, it just depends on what the LandLord will do with it. If he takes it for face value, and files it away, then you are good. If he does a check on you, maybe not.

Depending on how old you are, (College age), you could tell the landlord that your parents are the ones giving you money for an apartment. However, you'll need to appear to be humble and slightly embarrassed by this statement, this way you'll gain his sympathy and pity and he'll let you lease the apartment.

Just lie & say you make extra money doing speculative trading in the nascent cryptocurrency market and with certain commodities that trend well. You'll know what you really mean, but if pressed you can just cough out some bullshit about having made a small fortunate investing in corn futures during the ethanol craze, then lost your shirt gambling with some Forex software.

Nothing speaks more loudly than another month's rent as an extra deposit though, which you could maybe offer if you have the scratch – you'll get it back of course, but to hedge any would-be bets, this might assuage a reluctant landlord's concern.

Just lie about how much you make and hope they don't check. I've forged bank statements before. Super easy.

Say you deliver pizzas or Chinese part time and earn cash tips nit reported...duh...shit most delivery places always bed part time help maybe even pouch up a night or day if you can...if you can't bad driver record etc just fake it and hope they don't verify...use Chinese cause none wants to call done random Chinese guy and ask a bunch of questions bcz they probably won't understand anyways...not being racist but we have all been in a Chinese restaurant...your nit calling a Chinese banker

Tell them you inherited money, so you only have to work part time. Get a forged Fidelity statement from the markets or make you own that shows a big balance, and a monthly withdrawal.
