A quick and easy method is to just open the image in your image editor of choice, crop it a little bit, and save as something else. Works with GIMP at least, I assume it'll work with others.

I'm pretty sure there's websites specifically designed to remove EXIF info from photos, try googling "EXIF remover" or something.

If you have an image editor available (paint, photoshop, gimp) then copy all the pixel data into a NEW FILE.
e.g.:
That way you know you're only copying pixel data. If you simply crop and resave then some image editors might try to preserve exif.

Why not check the settings on the device and disable the EXIF feature. Phones mostly have this feature but the primitive digital cameras don't.

Ms paint

open the image in ms paint and save it as a jpg. all exif data is automatically stripped by paint because it simply isn't supported.
