CD NSW (Australia)

Tried to post this in the Australian subreddit but it wouldn't work. Here it goes:

It's been a really long day and in all truth I am exhausted, worried and panicked. I lurked this sub over the last year so I thought it would only be right that I warn you guys of what happened to me today. I was waiting on some MDMA. I won't say amount because I don't want to be tied to this but think just above commercial quantity range. I get a notification that my post box has email. I go to retrieve it. Now I found the red card in there. Big deal right, who cares. That always happens. Today what was really odd however is that there were only 2 paper letters inside my mailbox, and the package could have fit easily. It kind of creeped me out but I still thought "lazy postie". Anyway I go in to collect my package. It must have taken her 10 minutes to come back, which was very weird. She went out back to get my package and took that long. I presume she was calling LE during this time and I freaked out a bit. There was nothing that I could do though. I already asked for the package. So she comes back! she gives me the package! didn't ask to sign for it but she asked me for ID. I show her and it matches the name on my package (I used my real name to appear as less suspicious as possible). I finally think it's over then I go outside and as I'm turning the corner into the parking lot, I get arrested. Four police officers were present. I was asked if I know what's in the package. No comment. My entire ordeal with them was no comment. The constable also informed me that they are selectively grabbing packages and putting them through a scanner "like the ones they have at the airports". They were also aware of three prior deliveries to me in which I accepted drugs and they let me accept them in order to build intent. Again, all of my responses were no comment for them. They came and inspected my house. They took all of my laptops (3), 2 phones and a couple of spare hard drives I had lying around. They did not find any drugs (I always keep my house clean). I was ultimately charged with commercial supply and they're talking of very serious jail time. I am completely broken but I'm trying to keep myself in good spirits. I'm seeing a solicitor tomorrow morning and I have a notice to appear. Stay safe boys n girls. Any questions just ask and I'll try to answer. I'm sorry if a lot of this was jumbled up I'm having a really rough day.

Do you know if those previous packages were CDs? Or are they just trying to bluff ya into talking? Are they going to find anything on your devices?

I mean they make it sound like they have a good case and I'm not sure what considers good evidence in Australia but since you kept your mouth shut I think you may get off okay. You did what anybody would do if the post drop off a notice and went and picked it up. You never opened it or admitted to anything, the one thing that may be an issue is if they find tor on your devices.

It must have taken her 10 minutes to come back, which was very weird.

We should all take note of this, LE wasn't waiting outside until the post clerk called them in. In this sort of case their warrant would only ever cover your place of residence. If your nervous about picking up a pack, take all devices or incriminating evidence to somebody elses place before hand to avoid this. If you have a partner it may be beneficial to call them and let them listen in to you picking up the package and have a secret phrase for when shit goes down. Goes without saying the device has to be locked and encrypted or else they can just search through it.

Time to say goodbye to Austraila. If your out of jail. Bounce.

Really sorry to hear that, man. Can you say if the package was domestic? Also, you mentioned an Australia subreddit - is it for DNM? I'd love to know more about people's experiences in Aus.

Wish there was more I could do or say... but best of luck. Hopefully the treatment in general is okay - I've unfortunately only dealt with scum LE in NSW.

Edit: Also are you getting your equipment back? Do they tamper with it?

Damn have heard Australia is really cracking down in certain areas right now. Said tons of controlled deliveries

Fuck man! They literally got you by the balls. That's some mad shady shit man. I already knew cops did shit like this, but it's rarely so you must have been ordering enough to resell. Still don't talk as talking to them will in no way help you out of this. Ask for a lawyer or get one and more than likely they'll ask for a plea deal from the judge and at that point who knows what'll happen. A couple of years of probation? Maybe two years in jail? I don't know Australian laws man and I wish you the best of luck. Salute.

hey man i'm sorry to hear about that. you are just tryin to have a good time and keep your friends safe with pure molly, and now your career is probably fucked as well with any other aspirations you had.

Time to start over as a convict. It's going to be rough but if you can avoid some jail time then you might come through all this as roughly the same person.

I would start taking some business classes and start your own compnay. You may have to be your own boss if you have trouble re-entering the working community.

shit dude. Good luck.

I heard they were running an operation screening express post packages in NSW, it's safer to ship by regular post right now

Go speak to a lawyer if you haven't.

Were your phones and laptops 100% clean? No idea how things work in Aus, but in the UK, you could sign up for a drug addiction programme, which if / when it goes to court will help you get a lenient sentence.

Good luck

Assuming you only did this for personal consumption what are the typical charges/sentences?

Thought I was going to read about NSW_thegreat. Sorely disappointed.

Damn, glad it isn't that crazy here in Canada. Good luck, not saying anything is the best thing you can do.
