Emailing a vendor

With a good market just taking a shit like Greece, since I don't normally do this, I was wondering (I have the vendors email), if you guys would make a safe mail throwaway to contact the vendor or if you have another technique that could possibly improve opsec.

Thanks in advanced.

For contacting vendors, create and use an email account only via Tor.

SIGAINT has free webmail accounts:

Sigaint is amazing.

Not sure if you meant safe-mail.net, as in the ESP...or "a new safe email".

If you meant safe-mail.net...jump ship and switch to SIGAINT for Tor only email. It also works via BitMessage too. They provide a great service and are constantly adding new features and services.

And for ClearNet email...create a Tutanota email account. Dump your Safe-mail email address and don't look back.

Create both accounts over Tor! Maybe think about VPN's as well.

When contacting vendors about dealing directly, if they see your email address is SIGAINT, Lelantos or any of the top privacy conscious email service providers, they will be more inclined to think your OpSec is better than the average consumer.

As others have suggested SIGAINT is a better choice than Safe-Mail for various reasons. Other than that just encrypt everything with PGP, make sure to give the vendor your public PGP key so they can encrypt the reply, and you should be good to go. Oh and leave the subject line blank. It's better to just keep everything encrypted and a subject isn't really needed.

Always wondered how to go about this - now I know, excellent!
