DO NOT DEPOSIT INTO DREAM - ACCOUNT LOCKED OUT & BITCOIN STOLEN (EXIT SCAM?)

DO NOT PUT ANY DEPOSITS INTO DREAM

Let me start this off by stating I am not alone in this. This issue has happened to a LOT of people in the last 48 hours and I believe it be a cause of concern.

I've been using dream for about three years and I've never had this happen. I have never used a phishing link and yesterday after transferring through a big chunk of bitcoin around 12:14:32 I was logged out of my account and at around 12:53:35 I observed somebody on the blockchain transferring my bitcoins out from my account

I can't use the password recovery form as it's having an overload, I was told to use a "contact form" by admins that doesn't exist and my 2Fa does not work anymore

On the dream forum I am seeing lots of other people (vendors included) going through the same thing. I would highly reccomend not putting any transfers through right now and get 2FA setup if you haven't already and taking ANY money from your dream wallets and put them in your private wallets.

I like how you said "around" and then gave the time down to the second lol

"you wanna meet for a beer later at, i don't know... let's say somewhere around 8:36 and 22 seconds ? " haha :)

define "big chunk of bitcoin"

You are not alone it's happening on daily basis since Hansa went down.

Why do these sort of posts get so many upvotes without a single scrap of proof?

[4 Points] 0ni0n3at3r:

First off never had a problem with Dream. Second have you waited long enough.

Also support is the onions address with this added /support at the end. Update us please. My current go to market

[5 Points] jimmychuckavorti:

you got phised

[4 Points] _PrinterPam_:

You were phished. This is a textbook case of what happens when you are. Nothing to do with Dream.

[3 Points] FreshestNuts:

Okay so my purchase of 2500 xans this morning wasn't enough to scam, but your petty 500 was? Makes a lot of sense man, also with you pinpointing the exact second of the blockchain transaction makes me think you are the brightest crayon of the bunch...

[1 Points] xeslana123:

Whats most concerning is that it's the 20th

[2 Points] faustcoven:

My account got disabled because of my PIN and my PGP isn't working.

None of the "support" they say to contact doesn't respond. I'm fubar. Lost over a hundred dollars on that site. I'm furious.

I know for a fact that Dream changed my username/password and when I tried to login it told me "wrong username or password" and when I tried to "reset password" it said "Error: Password reset server under load, try again later". And I tried for 4 days in a row but always gave same error.

Then I tried to contact staff and was ignored. So basically they locked me out of my account in order to steal my bitcoins that are in the Dream wallet.

It was less than $100 so they are really getting greedy with their selective scamming. And if you complain on reddit everyone will say "You got phished, bro"

But I had bookmarked the same link I have been using since I started and verified it by looking at the DNM superpages wiki

Every idiot chiming "You got phished" as if we are all that retarded that we would not know any better than to click some random link

AMA request: A person who still uses Dream

My five questions:

It's just I have no reasonable cause to believe this.

You were phished 🐟🐟🐟

[1 Points] Btcloverkid:

I guess they finally did it. This is a hard time for us but we will go through it and come back stronger like we always do. Keep your heads up guys.

[1 Points] 21stdeadcats:

it's honestly your fault for EVER leaving money in a market. there couldn't be a fucking exit scam if they didn't have anything to begin with.

im pretty confident they have to target people who dont log in for large amounts of time. it makes sense.

Something smells phishy

[1 Points] sqrupfgt:

Since everyone is saying they aren't trying to get free bitcoins, I volunteer as tribute and will take the free btc in their stead.

PM me for wallet addy, gracious community of sharing!

[1 Points] ginsengwarrior:

Update: support said they will ask admin to verify my info I gave them and enable password login again within the next week. Now let's hope that's actually gonna happen

[1 Points] ginsengwarrior:

update: dream admins unlocked the account and I was able to log in again. All the bitcoins were transferred out as I suspected.

Was it your own money?

Its not that you have been phished now, it could be some time ago.

Its no reason to hijack your empty account. I read an interview where these guys have script attached to your bitcoin, these guys are obliviously the phishers. They just monitor the blockchain, once your deposit address hits a transaction they log in, change pgp and disable password login.

In option settings you can decide the type log-in you want on your account, "2FA(Pass+PG)", "PGP only" or "PGP or Password" this is regarding Dream and all other markets.

Per theory you can't be phished if using only PGP log-in but if you have enable access with both, then its false security

This sucks! Best way is to learn from it and be on the look out and up to date on the current trends in scams.

Its another economy within the DNM to scam users, they are organised and pray on easy mistakes.

[-2 Points] drugaddict0000:

Dream has 10's of thousands of active users, if something was up this subreddit would be flooded with threads, stop trying to spread fud you downy because you got ratted or something you downy.
