Can't access my alphabay account due to lost pgp keys

Hey everyone, first time posting here so if I'm breaking any rules let me know. I recently made an Alphabay account and created a new pgp key. Before I backed up my key, my pgp addon (I use mailvelope) reset itself somehow and I lost all my keys and settings. So now I can't access my Alphabay account due to the 2 factor verification that requires decrypting a pgp message. Will I just have to create a new account? Is there any way to recover the keys? I sent mailvelope support an email but haven't gotten a response yet.

Any advice is appreciated

Unless you recover those keys you're probably not getting back into that account. Use this opportunity to start fresh. Use TAILS and enable the persistant volume. You'll never have this problem again.

AfaIk you can get the 2FA removed if you can prove you are the owner of the account by, e.g., stating your pin / PW / old deposit addresses and amounts etc.

Make a new account and contact support.

I cant help with your current situation but you need to use TAILS and copy your private and public keys onto 1 or 2 other encrypted USBs. TAILS is not as daunting as you think if you do a little research.
