[Complaint/Warning]Middle Earth Admins not letting me withdraw BTC?

So two days ago I tried to withdraw my BTC from middle earth. Then the next day I had a notification.

"Middle Earth - not BTC mixer. Rules- no bullshit. Explain your actions to Gandalf or Gollum."

So. First message to Gandalf.

"Hi! So I understand we need to message you when withdrawing btc. I was not using middle earth as a mixer. I was looking for a certain product with a good vendor and did not find one. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience."

He messaged me back.

"You do not need message us to withdraw, only because you got caught mixing your coins and not buying anything."

I of course replied.

"As I said in my first message, I did not find a good vendor. I then choose to remove my coins. How is this using as a mixer? If I wanted to mix my coins I would do so. But I have not."

I'm not sure what will happen. But just wanted to give fair warning to anyone if you are considering using this market.

If they think people uses them for tumbling they have a higher opinion for themselves than they should.

fuck that place never been, never will. Even the interface is bad, looks like a shitty WordPress template.

I don't understand why MEM is so against customers using their service as a tumbler? It's mostly leading to bad press within the community and they really aren't losing anything by letting users deposit and withdraw coins at will. At worst they should do what blackbank does and charge 1% for the coins being withdrawn.

This policy is really stupid and will only chase people away. I'm not sure who would use a DNM as a mixer anyway. It's like trying to cure HIV by soaking your dick in a hookers vagina. On another note there has been many times I sent money to a market and then found a better deal for a similar product on another and just transferred the coins over. Lucky for me middle earth is a crap hole or this would actually be bad news.

This happened to me this morning. I deposited some btc to make an order but then I found the same vendor having a sale on black bank to get some feedback. when I tried to move the coins to BB I got the same message. I just ordered off ME because I didn't want to deal with their bull shit, after my order I was able to move the leftover coins. Fuck you Middle earth, not buying anything from your shit market anymore. It's a shame good vendors like blueviking moved there...

Can you posts some screenshots of this?

Dwarves are secretly running the place, greedy for gold.....

After "pleading my case" to Gandolf and Gollum I was able to get my coins released after about 4 days. This has made my decision to use them our not much easier. Not of course.

Aaaaand there goes middle earth onto my market black list

fuck you gandalf

[2 Points] theevoinsider:

Why did you deposit and then look for something to buy, instead of finding a listing then depositing that amount of BTC?

This is a good example of why we should move away from markets. Check out /r/multisigbazaar

I think they had problems when they first came up with peeps trying to use js exploits to game their withdraw system. Requiring a purchase before making a withdraw would lower the incentive to create new accounts to test potential exploits with.

The easiest way around the whole thing is to just purchase some digital bullshit for 37c and then withdraw.

The real shitty part is that this policy isn't stated clearly anywhere. Its not listed under the Rules section. Sure, on the deposit page it says "Don't make a deposit if you aren't planning on buying. ME is not a mixer." At no point does it say withdrawals will be flagged if you don't purchase anything.

Well, I made a deposit with every intention of buying. Shit happens, and now I cannot make the purchase I had intended to. Had I known this was going to get my coins tied up for days, I would have bought a fucking netflix account or something. Now I will need to exchange messages with admins and wait for what seems will be multiple days (based on others experiences) to get my coins back. So much for that purchase I was going to make today.

It just seems to me that there are MUCH better ways to prevent your service from being used as a mixer (who the fuck uses a market to tumble coins anyways).

Between this and the USDank fiasco (didn't FE for him, thank god), I have WAY too much coin tied up right now...

These hobbit loving faggots did the same thing to me, its been a week already and my 1000 USD of coins is gone. They don't reply to any polite messages, if you check their profile pages its full of people complaining about the same thing. What kind of a faggot like the hobbit if you're more than a 14 year old virgin. I'm surprised any vendors set up shop on this site, no wonder there were barely any good vendors on there.

I am so glad I don't use the DNM. All these sites fucking suck. Agora at least seems okay, for now from what people say. I don't understand how these people think they should be able to keep someones funds because they choose not to order and want to move their coins. What if the vendor they were about to order from suddenly runs out when you send over. Then you have to wait for those fucks to tell you it's okay to move your coin. Then you get to wait for BTC to drop some more. Buying drugs in person is so much better. At least when you have good connects it is.

I've used them several times with no issues. I've never had a problem withdrawing funds, either.

The message from Gandalf is pretty clear... "You do not need message us to withdraw, only because you got caught mixing your coins and not buying anything."

So, don't deposit your coins into ME unless you actually intend to buy something. If you do and then try to withdraw them without purchasing something, you are breaking their rules and they are going to give you shit about it.

Like my daddy used to say, " As long as you are under my roof, you will live by my rules."

[-11 Points] BenzoBlotters:

MEM is not a mixer. Don't send coins to a market if you're not going to spend them immediately. If you do, don't expect any sympathy, because it's just a sign of flighty and novice buyers. When we first opened shop on MEM we were concerned at the first post like this, but it soon became clear there was no need for concern.
