A question about buying from darknet markets for people based in the uk

It seems to me that the biggest problem with darknet markets for people based in the UK is actually getting hold of the btc. There just doesn't seem to be any easy way. In fact, I'd say it's an utter ball ache. So I'm wondering whether there would be an interest in somebody advertising their wares on a market or two and then offering to complete the sale face to face. Then there are no bitcoins required and no concerns about whether your product will turn up. You could see/ test it before parting with your cash. Would this work or is it dumb idea and I'm just missing something obvious..?
