Bitcoin dilemma.

So I finally got my bitcoins and want to send them to the bitcoin fog thingy. Unlucky me though the website wants me to confirm who I am. They want a copy of my I.D. Is it bad to show my real identity when I am trying to tumble my coins or is it ok? Should I just go for it and upload my ID for them? I am using SpectroCoin by the way.

EDIT: I also bought them using my credit card, with my real name and last name. Did I fuck up big time or am I just overthinking this?

Its been said before and I'll say it again. You don't need to tumble your coins.

Unless you're a drug lord ordering kilos of coke, you don't need to cover your tracks. LE is not going to pop you for ordering a few grams of whatever, and they're not going to trace your Bitcoin address to make it happen. Tumblers are for people receiving money from darknet markets and need to conceal the origin of it (Money laundering).

You don't get money from an ATM and try to exchange it for a bill with a different serial number before you buy drugs, why do it with Bitcoin?

Use helix if you want to tumble. I wouldn't attach an ID to BCF. But as has been said it doesn't need to be done unless you're a huge player. I still do though because it makes me "feel" safer.

I'm planning on spending 350-400GBP in January. Is that getting close to amounts that ought to be tumbled?
