Shipping international packs requires a customs declaration form?

I'm trying to have something reshipped from the UK to the US by a friend. Royal Mail's website states that you have to fill out a customs declaration form, detailing the contents of the parcel. Never received international packs, so I never knew this was a requirement, how should I go about filling out this form? I'm going to be receiving a K pack of bars.

Edit - Vendor no longer ships to the US, can't get a better price elsewhere either. UK to US is generally lower risk, I've asked the vendor to use international stealth for a domestic UK order. New printed label with required form attached should do the trick, no ?

Declare the package as XANAX BARZ. They won't suspect a thing.

The whole reshipping thing doesn't sound too smart. If you MUST order internationally, I would stick to having it shipped direct from a vendor that is experienced in dealing with shipping to the States. He will know more about getting though customs without getting charged crazy fees or having your stuff seized. Just my opinion. Take or leave it.

Okay... First... UK is still EU... Eu to US customs are the same whether its UK, Italy, France, etc. No difference, No lower risk. I don't know where you got that information.

When you buy goods from foreign sources, you become the importer. And it is the importer - in this case, YOU - who is responsible for assuring that the goods comply with a variety of both state and federal government import regulations. Importing goods that are unsafe, that fail to meet health code requirements, or that violate quota restrictions could end up costing you quite a bit of money in fines and penalties and possible jail time. At the very least, such goods would be detained, and possibly destroyed, by CBP.

They detain wheels of cheese, kinder eggs, coffee, and you think its going to be easy to get a bunch of pills that are run by canines routinely and easily show up on an exray past customs?

If that is what you want to do it sounds as if you are pretty determined but it also sounds like you are a bit naive as to just how SERIOUS customs control is. I was stopped by a dog because I had a navel orange in my purse that I got at the Munich Airport and forgot about upon entry to the US.

Once again... just my opinion. Is it really worth it to save a couple bucks but chance going to federal prison??
