XanMan on Dream - Scam or Not - Opinions?

So my main supplier vanished so Ive spent the last week trying to find a good vendor who can supply bulk. I came across XanMan, he has reviews dating back almost 200 days, but less than 2 pages of reviews, all 5 star.

He was requiring FE only like every other new/unkown vendor, but I would rather gamble this loss for the profit, I just wanted to assess my risk more analytically by talking to him.

We chatted encrypted in realtime and had a VERY long conversation together. At first it was all the basics, country of manufacture, history, stealth, supply, and I dont remember any of the important stuff because everything sounded good to me. If I would have at any moment thought it was too good to be true, or he said made in India I wouldnt have gone through. First red flag was he told me he mostly sells IRL and has multiple 100k in stock, doesnt trust markets, which is why he wasnt even willing to leave $4k in escrow and required FE. He then asked me if I was willing to do it. Second red flag was how he could mail something way over 13oz without walking into the post office, which he didnt explain very well.

I told him "Fuck it, Ill roll the dice" paid him and sent address, he said he would have tracking for me the next day. The next day we must have talked for HOURS, just chatting about everything, the drug game, politics, his shitty landlord, my shitty landlord, then he said he had to run errands and said he would have my tracking number shortly. He asked if Id be online later and I would be, so he said goodbye. Later that night he logs in and immediately messages me and then sends my encrypted tracking number, and reminds me it will take 24-48 hours for it to update, says see you later freind with a smiley face and logs out.

This was on Aug 10th, and tracking still does not show up.

Now obviously I assume I was scammed. But my question is why would he go through all that effort? As soon as I sent the coins he couldve ran. He doesnt even use reddit, I couldnt have left negative feedback, he didnt have to chat with me the next day unless hes a sociopath who enjoys making people feel comfortable while laughing behind his keyboard, and he didnt have to put in the effort to ask for my key and send an encrypted "fake"(allegedly!) tracking number. I mentioned how I was strongly considering on pulling the trigger on a much larger order and after that long conversation he may have been able to convince me to.

After 2 days I messaged him on Dream saying "Hey its been 2 days and tracking still not updated. It could be just USPS lagging, but please, if you did scam me, can you at least have the heart to just tell me so I dont have to sit here waiting and stressing about it?" and his username had the yellow dot next to it, showing he wasnt currently online but had been earlier so I assume he didnt see it, and now Dream is down so I cant contact him.

So what do you think?

My perspective is biased because Im rooting for him to come through, so Id like all of your guys opinions based on the evidence provided what you think.

This is an outrageous post, asking the uninformed their opinion on whether a vendor is a scammer.

Two of those 4 days have been the weekend, when post doesn't move. Does the tracking number say "invalid"? Because the vendor doesn't control USPS. If he's handed your pack to them to deliver, how can he be a scammer?

You've really blown it by acting all unlucky and victimy. What use would it be to get him to "admit" he'd scammed you, apart from make you seem impatient, weak-minded and melodramatic?

Stop bothering this vendor. He's already spent hours talking to you. He couldn't have done more. You can't go messaging him based on your particular level of anxiety or optimism every hour.

I think you were scammed. The real XM is only on 2 markets, (dream is not one of them) and other than that, hes strictly DD. (He really doesnt trust markets, and dream happens to be one of them).
