Vendors using pictures found on google images?

Alright, I'll try to cut this as short as possible as to not bore you guys too much..

A few days ago I've placed an order on AB from a rather new vendor (with good/fake feedback), and for some stupid reason I've FEd (don't ask me why).

Upon further investigation (AFTER ordering, hurr durr yes I'm a retard at times) I've found the pictures he's using using google image reverse search.

Shit, $200 lost is what I immediately thought. I've contacted the seller and he claimed he had no time to take a picture. His other pictures do have his name in it written on paper. So at this point I'm fairly sure I've been scammed. I didn't feel like making empty threats and throwing shit around, I knew my money was gone the point I FEd anyways.

Now I was looking around nucleus today and found another vendor using THE SAME FUCKING PICTURE. WTF? And he also does have quite a bit of feedback.

I've pretty much made peace with the idea that my money is gone. FE is just like gambling, and sometimes you lose. It was dumb as fuck to FE with a new vendor in the first place - It's just that due to all the drama around AB the recent days I've asked myself the question: Who do I trust more, a shady vendor I've never traded with or a market run by carders? And I've decided against AB even though the answer would have been, take your fucking coins to a different market.

So what I've been wondering now is: is there any chance that he's actually still legit? Or are scammers indeed just THAT lazy and use the first best picture they find on google?

So, you've already assumed that your money is gone before waiting to see if it comes? Because vendors are too lazy to take a picture of their product? Maybe calm down a little and wait a bit to see if the pack actually comes. All you're really saying is that some people are too lazy to take a picture. That doesn't make someone a scammer.

Most vendors I use will use stock images. It all depends I suppose. Pharmaceuticals don't really need a custom photo. The vendor posting of their pills and name doesn't mean much in terms of whether they'll scam or not. I wouldn't be concerned with a vendor using stock images personally. At the end of the day, what does it matter.

A lot of vendors use the same pictures/stuff from Google. Don't worry about it.

Some don't risk uploading pictures, mostly because some dont know how to remove meta and extif data. never try and upload .jpg images you took with your phone! especially if you have GPS on!! your coordinates, phone type, if flash was used, etc will be stored inside that picture for anyone to see. find a program to wipe meta and extif data(tails has one under Applications>System Tools called MAT) and convert the image to a .png image. png doesnt store meta or extif data.

Another incompetent vendor. Too much trouble to snap a photo with the vendors name behind it, save it as a gif or png and upload it? SMH
