This same thing happened to me. I had used BTCfog before. I transferred in $200. It arrived and I initiated the outgoing transfer. In the morning, no money in my DNM wallet and my BTCfog account password no longer works.

This is a throwaway, so disbelieve if you want. I'm not going to compromise OPSEC to convince you.

Bitcoinfog is one of the few bitcoin services I trust. I dont use it when withdrawing from Agora, because agora's tumbler is so good.

I use them if I list on SR2 for withdrawals.

I don't deposit, because I'm a vendor, and obviously tumbling bitcoin INTO a marketplace is pointless. I still see people do that.

Don't pay 3% and wait 6 hours to protect a dirty marketplace from your clean, legally bought bitcoin. Customers are only ever arrested because of drug movement, and never bitcoin movement. And your deposit address isn't a wallet. you are just given credit, the bitcoin goes off to do other stuff for other customers immediately. often, it immediately gets used for a vendor's withdrawal straight back to the same exchange.

When you spend a bitcoin on weed, it doesn't use YOUR bitcoin. its bits of other people'e bitcoins from yesterday, or 5 minutes ago. That is the only uncrackable tumbler everything you deposit goes into a big bucket that can be used for anything. your wallet balance is just a credit indicator rather than an actual wallet.

Every few weeks, British tor Vendors Association members get a report on how each marketplace's internal bitcoin system works. I thouht it would be boring, but the way it's written is really interesting. I'm going to ask if I can show you an old one Their escrow and commission wallets are named and watched, and each marketplace owner is shown their own wallets - just so we all know where we stand. They always say "I don't know where you got that from. Its got nothing to do with Agora" etc, as another hundred 4%'s go into it, then it goes quiet the same 3 hours agora is down.

I really think trade groups like the BTVA, and whatever equivalent US vendors must have, are the reason marketplaces have stopped robbing everyone.

I deposited money for the first time, never withdrew, and it nearly all disappeared. No response from support. Seems like a scam to me!

number lock.

Type your password in the username box where you can see it. is it typing right?

You're aware tor nodes are compromised too?

What does their support say?

I used them in the past with success (a few times in 2013), not recently though. Note the people calling scam are using very new accounts and have few posts. Not saying people are lying but take it with a grain of salt. Any darknet service handling bitcoins can easily steal them and get away with it, so it's always somewhat of a risk...

Helix is going full out with their fud it seems, not that any BUYER should use a tumbler anyways, it's just pissing 3% away

Bitcoin tumbling is probably the best way to selective scam people. No escrow or ratings, just process most transactions normally and once in a while have a big deposit go "missing".

Is it that hard to create 2 or 3 new addresses in a private wallet? Unless you go about linking all your wallets together and putting your name on them anything beyond 3 tumbles is a waste of time and fees. Using a dedicated service like btcfog when you can just DIY without ever giving up control of the coins seems foolish to me.

I have no idea. I just used it yesterday and everything worked out fine.
