/u/deepdotweb, do you know anything more?

I had placed a fairly substantial order on Abraxas with a new vendor offering a new product. It was in escrow of course. However, the vendor never even confirmed the order and the afternoon it was able to be cancelled is when the site went down. I don't even know whether it would be considered still in the escrow wallet or my account balance. Not that it matters though because admin controls it all. The point is that I was not treating my account there like a wallet and I had not FE'd so no lectures please.

I am a big fan of /u/deepdotweb - I have even contributed a piece to the site. I did not get involved in the DDW hate when it came out that he pulled Abraxas and suggested Alpha Bay. I respect the man too much to have believed there was anything involved other than poor judgement oh the Alpha Bay referral.

Today, I ran across this quote attributed to /u/deepdotweb - a poster had said they interpreted this that his removing them from sidebar was that he had not heard back.

"one communication i had with them last week or so, made the difference, don't see much point at arguig, wait another week and tell me if i was right or wrong. Anyway, hidden motives were involved."

This is the first time I read this particular quote from DDW. To ME, it sounds like the conversation he had with them led him to the belief that something nefarious had occurred and they would not be back. It does not read to me like he was saying "since I have not heard back I think they are gone".

Am I the only one that reads that DDW knows something that leads him to the conclusion there is no hope? To /u/deepdotweb - If that's the case, I think you owe the community a little bit of an explanation on what you are alluding to. If thet are truly gone then you have nothing to worry about as far as breaching confidentiality, which I know is important to you. I know you are a bit fed up with some redditors and I can't blame you. However, many of us have been supporters of you and ddw.com since day one. We have skin in this game that we will bo OK with kissing goodbye if we simply had any explanation beyond people's speculation that would help make some sense of this. We can all agree this was far from the typical exit scam because they did not get shit compared to what they could have even by waiting another 48 hours....

Thanks DDW

Don't shoot the messenger.

Deepdotweb has to be more careful about what it publishes than we do here, because it matters,

Things we say here are only read bvy the 321 people currently online. Deepdot USED to be a summary of news from here and marketplace forums, but there IS no news here.

Its been an unprecedented week of drama in DNMs. But we haven't heard a thing about the TWO marketplace exit scams, because this sub isn't about darknet markets any more.

Its about /r/darknetmarkets, pettty power struggles and petty theft of the charity tin.

In March, I posted the Evolution Marketplace BTVA market warning, because one of our members had hired 2 Evo admins to help with the design of the ToYouTeam onion site, and they were in a panic. The voting members voted unanimously to announce it here, immediately after warning agora support that we were about to do this, and to expect an influx of users.

Why did I post it here? because it used to be the best way to get news on DeepDotWeb.

It seems like common knowledge now. The accepted truth. Evolution exit scammed. You didn't do anything by telling us, BTVA.

We haven't made any announcements about Abraxas or Middle Earth, the next exit scam was going to be the one where the mod team and US vendors stepped up to the plate and used their financial power and huge reddit userbase to investigate, follow the bitcoin, and keep the explosion of comments under control in a single megathread.

Where deepdot can read it.

Seems like the tail is wagging the dog, and the dog is blaming the tail for not telling it everything it knows. Well, a flea on the dog is. The dog's head is more interested in its own ass than millions of dollars being stolen from reddit users by two darknetmarkets.

Maybe its a problem with the sub's grass roots, maybe the loss of focus is from the top, the mod team, everyone will have their own theory.

I don't blame /u/deepdot for being an infrequent visitor and poster here. He's a rational man who is good at summarizing the important points during the cacophany of a darknet drama. He's not responsible for sorting out our problems - WE are.

But its hard to ignore the mod team's current obsession:- itself.

I can't PHYSICALLY knock their heads together and tell them to stop worrying about petty theft from within. But this current mod team has shown itself to be rudderless without lobali. In fact, it's worse than rudderless. Its become a psychiatrist's couch for the once-omni powerful TheEconomist1's breakdown, while he circles and circles but doesn't quite touch on his guilty concience, the private subs, the coordinated rule-breaking, targeted trolling and "shenanigans", with the devil whispering in his ear.

its the same devil who brought Silk Road down. She was distracting Ross in the library when his laptop was grabbed. It was the samesame dame when Peter Nash's laptop was grabbed. I listening to her for a month, not believing a word.

Old forum moderators don't die. they exit stage left and find another forum to play chess with. The devil can take many forms, you can be warned and warned but if you have a weakness she will find it. SSBD himself talks about "Cirrus" here, she sounds familiar

They emptied the majority of the hotwallet coins prior to exit scamming, there was a thread here but I don't feel like finding it.

Do people really still use it?

Get your news from google. Better written.

Everything I have read leads me to believe he has a direct connection to either Abraxas, ME, AB, or more then one of those markets. In this thread his claim that Abraxas was not allowing withdrawals for 48 hours before the shutdown was thoroughly debunked. He claimed he personally could not withdraw in the days leading up to the shutdown yet a large number of people said they could- some even did so just minutes before the site went down for good. Not one person corroborated his claim.

Further, the fact that he marked Abraxas as dead a week ago and recommended AB (even though he is supposed to be neutral) is very sketchy. He also has AB at the top of the 'top markets' list. Yet the market we all know to be the second largest, Nucleus, is inexplicably absent from that list. AB is also on the top of the market comparison chart, even though it is not alphabetical or sorted by market size/age.

EDIT: OP you linked to a blank account. This is the deepdotweb guy's real acc
