[Complaint/Warning] Sent $100 to agora, $77 showed up

Am i missing something here? Or is it possible that Agora took $23 from me? I have checked the addresses on the blockchain and it says the whole amount was deposited to my wallet...

If its any help i went LBTC > Electrum > Agora

it's entirely possible the price of btc dropped that much during the transfer period.

Dick Cheney stole your coins bro, better tell Obama.

As others have said, a drop in btc value could have easily factored into it, but also, since you bought from local, is it possible that you didn't factor in that the real time market value of what you purchased was already lower than what you paid for the coin?

BTC dropped a lot overnight because there was a $200,000 withdrawl on localbitcoins.com and then the site went dead... people thought it was an exit scam. Then people woke from sleeping and saw the drop and sold sold sold.

It was not not an exit scam... just a coincidence. Price dropped because people freaked out.

If you sent the right amount of btc, and the same amount of btc showed up I don't understand what you're wondering. They don't add btc to your transfer just because the price decreased.

Btc is btc regardless of its dollar value.

1 BTC does not always equal 200 or whatever dollars. They don't give you free bitcoin to even out the loss when the price drops.
