Do current multi-sig markets offer the redeemscript of the multi-sig wallet?

I don't know any way of checking the keys that were used to create a multi-sig address and how many private keys are needed to release the funds without the redeemscript. (If they exist, please tell me).

So in other words, if markets do not offer those, they could be scamming all of us. Since nobody uses multi-sig (despite claiming it was the future when Evo exit scammed), I don't know if this information is available or not.

Does anybody know?

I cannot speak for other markets but Oxygen does. Both, the buyer and seller get the redeemscript together with instructions.

Blackbank provides this after BTC is committed.

The redeem script comprises all the keys in the address, as well as how many are needed to spend the money. It is literally a bitcoin representation of the statement "This is a M-of-N multisig address with the following N keys: ". So you can verify that it is correct and contains the correct keys. To derive the address, you simply take a hash of the redeem script, so once you've verified the redeem script, you can then also verify from it that the address is the correct address that corresponds to that redeem script.

So a market that offers multisig should always prominantly display the public key of the other person, as well as the market's public key, so that you can re-create the redeem script yourself. And they should also show you the redeem script before you send any money to an address for a transaction. If you aren't able to know the public key of the other party and use that to verify that the redeem script and the address are correct BEFORE you send any money to the address, then the whole purpose of using multisig is defeated.

people here do not represent most of DNM community, and the people claiming multisig would be the future are a vocal minority. most customers don't care.

for it to be any safer it requires a lot of work from the customer and they don't benefit from extra work
