Buying Clones? Never grown. Curious.

Okay so after thinking it over for some time and doing a bunch of research online, I think I am going to attempt a home grow. I live alone, have appropriate space, and live in a country where there is not much threat regarding me trying to grow a few personal plants. I know I can buy seeds legally clearnet no problem. But... I was also reading about buying clones. Most of the stuff I have read about buying clones is all West Coast US folks. I went searching on AB and don't see any clone listings but also don't know if I am searching correctly. I have only every bought drugs :-/

I know it IS possible for them to be shipped (with special packaging and whatnot).

Has anybody had experience buying clones on the dnms? I know I could just buy some strong seeds and have a similar experience but I just wanted to research all my options.

If you are planning to do this in a condo, have you given any thought about controlling the odor? If not your secret grow won't be secret for long. Start out with a small garden until you learn a bit about growing. Growing good pot takes some, or a lot of experience. The best way to start is with a clone which you know the quality of pot it produces. Genetics is everything. You should try some female seeds, not the autoflower seeds. Do some research. I wouldn't buy seeds from DNM because you have no idea what quality of pot you will get from those seeds. There are tons of seed companies on the clearnet, I suggest you do some browsing and pick out some female seeds that have the qualities you are looking for.

Edit: Try browsing Attitude Seeds. Buy the best seeds you can, don't go for cheap seeds. Growing good pot is not as easy as you may think. You can't get a silk purse from a sows ear, so buy the very best seeds you can find. It really sucks to find out that after all your hard work the plant is from shitty genetics. It is probably easier just to buy some good pot than to grow it. I have a lot of experience with growing pot and my opinion is that about 80% of growers produce mediocre pot. YMMV.
