Israel: buyers/sellers DO NOT order/ship weed from Canada, Spain, France and the Netherlands!

Canada, Spain, France and (obviously) the Netherlands (don't order any drugs from here) are all on Israeli customs hotlist for weed/drug imports.

http://news.walla.co.il/item/2878822 <--some source info

I have had the unfortunate experience of having been arrested (and jailed for a few days) with more then one package from Canada of weed (both large and small) intercepted by customs as well as a small powdered item from the Netherlands.

I have spoken with others as well and Canada is particularly nasty for weed imports

i write this for the protection of my fellow brothers and sisters in my country so if you are a buyer don't order from these hotlist countries and if you are a seller from these hotlist countries (particularly weed) I would advise putting Israel on your no ship list.

I want to also warn both buyers and sellers that in Israel there are NO SEIZURE NOTICES! the way you will find out that your package has been intercepted is when they send a bunch of barking dogs (police officers) to your house (usually 2 or 3 months after your order was caught). They will pound on your door very loudly and come in shouting as if you are a violent criminal/child molester. You will be subsequently arrested and then interrogated (but not before they search your house, toss everything upside down and throw your belongings all over the place while trying to scare a confession out of you).

Make sure you speak to a lawyer first before the interrogation as they will provide you with one that you will talk on the phone (not likely that it will be in person but if they hold you in jail then you will meet him before you see the judge the next day).

Although iv heard bad info being given from shitty public defenders so even if they tell you take confess don't as basically it all comes down to this; DENY ALL KNOWLEDGE OF EXPECTING WHAT EVER THEY CAUGHT IN CUSTOMS!

With out your confession they have nothing as long as you keep your computer and phone clean (and even if not you still might have a chance as they did not take my computer when I was arrested even though they threatened to). Read this article for more info http://blogs.timesofisrael.com/help-i-have-been-arrested/

Also remember not all public defenders are bumbling idiots, some of them are very high profile and well regarded lawyers that give there free time to give back to society as volunteers.

Another problem that there are no seizure notices here is customers thinking they got scammed because there purchase did not show up in the mail so if your a buyer beware that if your item didn't show up you probably were not scammed and its just a matter of time before the police pay you a visit. This is also problematic cause scamming vendors can take advantage of this cause they can not send your item and just say its probably in customs being that the police come 2 or 3 months later on average thats a good amount of space for feedback updating and disputing time to run out.

Aside from the stated hotlist countries ordering drugs here has been pretty successful for most people so I would say its far more likely then not that if you order from a non-hotlist country you will get your product and fairy quickly. But this may be changing now as well as customs has been expanded due to phone imports from China being far undervalued to get around importation taxes and VAT. Check http://www.calcalist.co.il/marketing/articles/0,7340,L-3665832,00.html

I can also say from my own experience and that of others it is my belief that if your drugs are seized that your mail will not be monitored. Personally after my first item was seized and they waited a very long time till they arrested me I received quite a lot of small items and one not to small weed item from the US. Also the day after I got out of jail I received something small from the US and another few days afterwards I received some weed from Europe.

This is not a AMA or Q/A so I'm just writing this and leaving it with the intention of not coming back for further commenting (but who knows maybe il change my mind).

P.S; I expect some comments about the conflict here but what ever there's a few predictable people in every crowd so let me preempt their comments by saying we are very sad about the oppressed/robbed/raped/tortured Palestinians so lets all take a moment to cry, hold protest signs and wave flags for them while calling Israel an apartheid state.

Happy New Year (Rosh Hashanah)!

over and out...

Don't deny, keep your mouth shut and get a lawyer. Get your story straight with him first.

Much respect for continuing to purchase and not being scared into stopping.

I have a question though... Of course, I understand why Canada and Netherlands would be on the 'hotlist' given their laws on Cannabis but why France and Spain?
