Got a delivery notice in the mail today

I've been waiting on a pack for 8 days now, and today Canada Post left a delivery notice on my door. However this is what's bothering me a bit.

On the notice, there's my friends name (whom I live with) as the recipient (spelt wrong too) and the address is incorrect (wrong apartment number). I already talked to her and she said that she's not expecting anything from anyone. It also indicates that it's a letter and not a parcel on the paper. I never shared her name/ordered under her name or anything like that, but her name is on the lease of the appt.

And I only ordered a wee bit of weed. I am assuming that the vendor screwed up by sending to the wrong address, and so did the postman by writing her name on it for who knows what. However I never seen this before. Any advice?

None of this adds up.

It's Christmas time, maybe someone tried to send something to your roomate as a present.

Also, the mail is going to be super backed up right now, 8 days isn't really that long this time of year.

You're over thiking things.
