Profesorhouse

Ok I've seen several references to this e-book vendor Profesorhouse. People have said that when he sets up shop that the market gets hacked/exit scam. What's the deal with this? Anyone care to elaborate?

Thanks

I read a thread started by somebody claiming to be his best mate, saying "yeah, he did it. I'm worried he's going to get into trouble".

The post was by a native english speaker. I got the impression that English isn't profesorhouse's first language.

Also, I don't think he's a real Professor, because he would know how to spell the qualification.

Gabralkhan did the sleuthing on this. let me see if I can find his big post.

He's quite good at explaining his logical connections, and never decides something on just one coincidence. But two coincidences isn't a coincidence.

I read it the other night when I logged into agora and half of the first page was crappy E-books.

You can find all the speculation about him here:-

and a good overview here:-

It's long, but Gabralkhan has a good writing style. I half-remembered it, re-read it, then messaged Agora admin with a link to it (the day before Agora's bitcoin went haywire, incidentally)

He created a bunch of bogus listings, and then (allegedly) robs the market clean. Maybe some sort of timing-based attack? Like, buy your own listing and cancel quickly.. Who knows..
