Bitcoin Fogs' association with Agora

So I remember when Agora was first announced, what seems like forever ago, I remember it was first announced on Bitcoin fog. Back when they were reputable. I seem to remember on the Bitcoin Fog login page, there was an announcement that they were going to release a marketplace soon, which turned out to be agora. They've both shared a long legacy, which is weird for Darknet sites, as we all know.

What's weird is I never see this mentioned. So they must not be associated?

Someone fill me in on this, I've been thinking about this the past few days since theres' been so many posts recently on Bitcoin Fog scamming them

Might sound stupid, but honestly, I would not be surprised if BTCFog was just a frontend to Agora's internal tumbler.

I use for 1 year (more or less) BTCfog.. I never was scammed but sometimes it takes AGES to release found!! I tried Helix few days ago and it's amazing! Fast, clean and it doesn't seems a 90's site.

During the Sheepmarketplace scam, I wrote a furious support request when it became apparent that nobody paid fees to tumble that day

The same day, I got a long and very reasonably-explained reply from an admin, which really impressed me.

When I first listed on agora in Jan 2014 as my back-up Marketplace, it wasn't very busy. Support messages were answered by the owner, and he remembered me from the insult-laden support ticket he replied to at bitcoinfog.

We discussed pre-planning Agora's retirement date, having every Sunday off, ideas like that. Then I made him promise never to steal from BBMC, which seemed to make him angry at the very idea that he might be a thief. But he did it anyway.

It was my impression that he was one of two guys who coded bitcoinfog, then Agora. I also felt like he was British rather than American, although I think of Agora as American. Its all US timezones and $US.

Bitcoinfog aren't selectively scamming idiots with half a bitcoin going TO a drug marketplace, while not scamming vendors doing money laundering. I'm pretty sure of that. I've got no idea who is trying to discredit bitcoinfog.

I trust Agora the most, I'm pretty sure it won't steal my bitcoins. But if it ever did, I think I would take it very personally, more than Tomaz or with Defcon even, and throw every resource available into hunting him down. And I wouldn't stop until the day I die, because we have a gentleman's agreement.

Anybody reading this will think that's a stupid thing to do, and not good for business. But anybody who knows what I'm like knows that I absolutely will chase him through hell and back regardless of the sum involved.

Bitcoin Fog's selective scam is proof of Agora's Exit Scam.
