Nevada accidentally leaks thousands of medical marijuana dispensary applications

Yay legalisation ruining privacy for everyone.

One of the major reasons I rate the DNMs is the typical commitment to destroying customer details when no longer needed.

Are you seriously using this as a reason to say don't legalize?

Not to be a dick, but there's quite a few instances of DNM vendors holding onto addresses and names (for whatever reason) and when they get busted, a bunch of controlled deliveries take place. They're not exempt from this.

Assuming that large scale vendors don't keep an encrypted list of personal details of people who have bought from them. Giving a list like that to LE is a get out of jail free card.

Ha! You'd be wise to assume your vendors keep your details. Multiple busted vendors have been found with customer info. Besides, how else are they going to keep track of problem customers considering new accounts can be made? I wouldn't be surprised if MOST DNM vendors retain some of your info.
