I've been out of the DNM game for awhile due to moving in with people after college and I didn't want any potentially seized packages to arrive on our doorstep. I've kept up to date with TAILS and using a VPN (I usually use a public wifi near me as well). I recently got a PO Box and have had all of my typical mail (bills, etc) as well as an amazon order and some stuff from r/freebies sent to make it look legitimate. It is also in a very small USPS location run by mostly elderly people. It is only going to be used for small amounts of powder for personal use. Are there any other layers of security I might be able to use?

It is easy to loose or forget the many login details that you use on the DN. Forgetting account details can be a disaster in many cases.

Use a secure open source keychain app to store the login details of every account.

Use a long and very secure password for this keychain app.

Backup this keychain file(s) and keep your backups in various places.

Keep a keychain file backup copy on the internet somewhere. Maybe free cloud services like Dropbox, Google Drive, ...

Use secure, ten or more character passwords and use a different password for every account.

Immediately add the login details to your keychain/ when accounts are created or modified and then create the backups.

I have some Qs about acquiring BTC. Purchasing BTC through LocalBTC in cash is the safest, but due to my limited knowledge of computers, coding, BTC, blockchains and wallets, I dont know how to transfer or keep them. Do I get the BTC in a Localbitcoin wallet? Is this safe or should I keep them somewhere else? If I intend to use all my BTC on an item directly after buying them, do I need to invest time in securing them?

how important is using a drop? does a po box help mask your identity? wouldn't you need a real ID and all to open one and there is always the physical risk, with cameras and all

What is the process for staying safe if someone is going to order in bulk and like 2 or 3 times a month?

A quick step by step to get you set up to use Tor as safely as possible.

1: Your routers should be fitted with OpenWrt firmware.
2: You'll also need access to a good virtual private network like IVPN.
3: Set up the VPN on as many routers as you have purchased, and combine them together.
4: To store your bitcoins, you'll need to use a cold storage device like Ledger.
5: A free and open laptop from Purism is highly recommended.
6: And finally, Tails for your OS.
7: To properly set up Tails, follow this guide.
8: To set up Tails to use I2P (Which is recommended over Tor) follow this guide.

Aside from that, if you're really paranoid, I'd take the extra step of also routing your connection through Tor one more time before connecting through Tails by using a Tor Router.
