Tails 2.2~rc1 call for testers, first version offered that patches the critical GLibC vulnerability disclosed ten days ago - I don't normally advise using test versions, but this might be an exception

https://tails.boum.org/news/test_2.2-rc1/index.en.html

Further info on this vulnerability:

So, those with high security needs might want to start using this version right away. The downsides are that there's a higher likelihood of some major bugs that haven't been found yet (including bugs that may compromise anonymity or security), since there are some real software changes in this version (from 2.0 > 2.2). If you do find any bugs, please be sure to report them on the Tails Bug Tracker.

Are you implying 2.0.1 did not address this? 0.o

Glibc has been a bug since 2006 and has been public for about a month and half..... It's also a dns issue so unless your using tails to serve content you'll be fine from an attack
