Importance of MAPS Foundation - Please Read!

MAPS is the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, a non-profit research and educational organization that develops medical, legal, and cultural contexts for people to benefit from the careful uses of psychedelics and marijuana.

MAPS is funding clinical trials for many psychedelic drugs, in hopes to get them legalized for theraputic use.

Using MDMA to treat PTSD in veterans, victims of sexual assault, and even those with Autism struggling with social anxiety.

Using LSD to assist in psychotherapy, for those with anxiety and life-threating illnesses.

And so much more.

I know there are many of you out there who have a passion for psychedelic drugs, who know of the amazing benefits of these substances for healing. I encourage all of you to visit MAPS .org to learn more about the movement and if you can, to donate.

Funding clinical trials is very expensive and cannot be done without all of our help. No donation is too small. I will be donating 10% of my sales to the MAPS foundation every month. I feel this is something the community should support to the fullest. Thank you for taking the time to read.

Do they need volunteers? I can consume their drugs and let them research me!

I haven't looked into them in a while.

Have they actually put out any new studies?

"MAPS has recently completed the first double-blind, placebo-controlled study of the therapeutic use of LSD in human beings since the early 1970s."

How do you placebo that? I can't imagine a world in which everyone wouldn't know they either got the LSD or didn't.

I read today that ketamine infusions are being studied as a anti-depression drug. Being part of the 1/3 of people who don't respond to antidepressants, I am excited to see where this goes.

This may be old news, but it's new to me.

Good post OP. Thanks for spreading awareness.

jesus dude, you're donating 10% of your income? that's extremely generous man.

Do you know if they accept BTC? I could search but it's a good thing to be posted here publicly if they do or not so I'm asking it as a question.
