Update on issues with mutlsig on Sourcey + mini review of it

So I made a post about sourcey the other day, and 1 has got fixed (was my fault) and the other hasn't got fixed (its there fault)

The first issue (my fault) was I thought that the redeem script didn't include me. Being a FE vendor, buyers are to sign off on the transaction and then the market signs it, so I don't have to do anything and the funds just show up. This doesn't happen, and I get an error and have to go back and manually sign it. No big deal.

I had 3 orders that were to come, and I got the standard error that they couldn't broadcast because the customers didn't sign it. I began the signing process, the first one was no problem. The second one gave me an error (still an issue, unlikely ill get paid out on this) and then the 3rd when I went to sign it my address from the redeem script was not under my addresses.

What happened was the 3rd one was actually signed by the customer, and while waiting I paid for shipping labels which spent the funds from this address. I couldn't find it under recieved or anywhere under there. Support was quick to go over a few things, and I had to uncheck "used" and saw it there. Everything regarding that worked out, and it was just me not knowing/expecing the customer actually signed it and then I spent it as fast as it came out.

The second issue is that in one of my transactions the website builds the multisig and tries to predicit the fee based on the transaction. The guy tumbled coins in, and it caused for a handful of inputs, and the website either put no fee, or such a low fee that the funds are now stuck. Again, support has tried to be helpful with this. They've recreated a redeem script using all of our keys and adjusted the fee, but no luck. After 24+ hours, my guess is I'll take the L on this. Support is helpful and trustworthy, but this is a huge turn off for me. We will give it a little more time to see if we are able to get paid for this order, as we decided to ship it regardless sense its neither of our faults. If not, I can't recommend this market, but its up to you if you want to gamble in hopes that it doesn't happen to you.

In our limited time on here, support has been 10/10, but the market has tons of issues that it needs to work on, not including this multisig issue. I can't send messages without getting /nope which makes communicating painful. in order to see my orders I need to full size tails(which is not recommended), At the vendor landing screen I need to full size my sceen as well to navigate around. The multisig time lock are sloppy/ugly and hard to read and it seems when you save them, you save ones that are already redeemed unlike TR who removed them as they've been pulled out. The 2-fa box also can't just be right clicked and select all, and copy/paste with tails in not full screen on that also is painful. Seeing withdrawals are a bit harder to find, and the notifications gives me alerts even when I'm just sending a message. I don't need an alert that I did something. The list can go on and on, but these are the main things that can be worked on for this to be taken a little more seriously.

EDIT - Literally as I typed this up the issue finally got fixed. Support wasn't use to manually signing, and they were missing a step which was causing the 2nd script with the new fee to have an issue. It is now in my wallet with a couple confirmations. All good there, and they are also working on having people to look into this so it shouldn't happen to anyone else in the future. In the event that it does, its nice to know they can at least fix it in the end. Still has things to work on, but overal support went above what most markets have done for us to ensure we got our funds.

This is my update, and added on a mini review to it. Hopefully sourcey can make the market more tails friendly when it comes to browsing the market.

So they provide timelocked txs now? Since when?

On Tails you can select the whole webpage, if it contains a PGP message anywhere then you can decrypt it using the applet in the upper right corner. So no need to select the 2fa message, you can select all the page.

TR used to remove the timelocked txs where the coins were already claimed, but this might have lead to vendors losing coins. In the last couple of days TR wasn't broadcasting the transactions properly, so when the vendor signed the tx and pasted it back to TR, the timelocked tx was removed from the list but the tx wasn't really broadcasted so coins were not sent to the vendor's address but stuck in escrow.

Without having previous backups the vendors lost these coins.

Although having thousands of timelocked txs isn't a solution either.
