Question for those with and Australia Post Office Box

Have you opened these in your own names? Wondering if anyone can fill me in on the process for identification if you use the option 2 "Two forms of document ID (showing address) Which asks for: - Identification type - ID number (last 4 digits) - Expiry date

Would these documents be electronically identified in any way or simply checked off at the register at point of purchase?

I think they kept my info on file, not a photocopy, but license number etc.

I don't think trying to open a PO box in a false name or expecting them not to be able to identify you as the lessee is a good idea. You can always deny knowledge of intercepted contraband items.

I'd like to know more about this subject too. I've read in "the noobs" section that it is definitely not recommended to open in your own name. Are the fraud laws comparable to the US, where most of the advice seems to be directed to, as in it's a bigger charge to get busted with a fake id than illegal packages?

And if you open the PO Box in your own name...is the only option then to simply deny knowledge of contents? Australians seem to have a fair few less "rights" than Americans in terms of police powers so not sure a simple denial could even pass?!
