Possible CD, opinions?

Ordered a personal amount of stuff, and it didn't come for a while, so I got the tracking number from the vendor.

The package came today to my apartment (downstairs office), after sitting at the local post office for a little less than 2 weeks (according to tracking). What are the odds LE was doing something with in that time and when I pick it up I get busted? Is that even a thing where they would leave the pack at a building admin office?

Probably just being paranoid but the huge delay at the PO makes me worried af. I encrypted everything, accessed the tracking through another website over VPN.

Any opinions on how to proceed?

I recommend Nickelback

I don't think the police is waiting outside your building 24/7 waiting for you to pick it up

Honestly it doesn't matter if you used VPN and encrypted your text data that's only gonna stop NSA type agencies that monitor Internet data to view any of your personal information/location. If the vendor used shitty stealth and didn't prep your pack correctly the people who work for the post office distribution centers could have inspected your pack and seized it. I wouldn't be worried about a CD if you only ordered personal small amounts. Also I doubt they'd invest the amount of money to bust some small time drug user. I'd say your just being paranoid sometimes it's good to be paranoid so you're careful. Go get your pack and enjoy!

I don't think you have time to post on Reddit before the CD actually happens. Youre ok.

Odds it’s a CD? Literally 0. They’re not going to leave a box of evidence down at the post office for 2 weeks while they go do other police work and come back when they’re ready. If you’re going down that road, they’ll have already gotten the warrant to run the dog over your stuff (well your stuff mixed with other stuff), gotten the warrant to open the package based on the dog result, and started to move in getting a CD going. Especially if it’s domestic, they have to move fast because they need you to think everything is normal. In this way, they get you to do a lot of the work gathering the last bit of evidence against yourself (finding drugs proves a crime was committed, the CD is where they get evidence it was you).

So ya, the fact that you’re here asking if this weird shipping time hints toward a CD points to it not being so. I think I saw other things in your post that would point away also (personal amount iirc).
