Top Tier Opsec

I think that many of the posters on this sub know that if a presence on social platforms (like reddit) can be avoided, it absolutely should be. Many though find it in their best interest to join. For profit. Or to source. Or to contribute to a group that has benifited them . Or just a need to socialize with like minds. Or all of that. Or maybe none of the above. Most in this group will tell small or large lies, use disinformation, or create characters for...Opsec of course. I would like to talk about what I think might be the silent majority.. the LURKERS. REDITURDS can't usually know for sure if a new account is a troll, agent, shill, newb, kid etc. Reputation is king. And rightly so, on the net as it is in life. So often the worst is assumed. Cause that's safe. Or easy. Or smart.
Some people have lurked for months or years and occasionally try to contribute. They know that without reputation their voice will probably not be heard and they probably won't make any friends. But they want to make an effort to give back to a group that has benifited them. Some of these are just too paranoid or too smart or too awkward or too unsure of their opsec to continue an account. Some want to establish an account, gain rep and be a contributing member but are discouraged. Others see the treatment of new accounts and are discouraged. Some (not many) of these new posters are people with much to bring to table (your table). Lurkers know how reddit works like an observer watching something be made knows how to make that thing. The general knowledge is gained but lack of experience/practice makes the task nearly impossible. Do discriminate. Be vigilant. But keep an eye out for the hidden gems. Some of the best advice and needed perspectives I've seen here came from throwaways. Yes I'm kinda talking about me. It's okay I'll show myself out. Then go home and grow some thicker skin and a pair of OpSecs. Then I'll try again.

A friend in need is a friend indeed

Did you guess meth? Your right! So was everyone else!

/edit/ I'm sorry. I did break that into paragraphs but reddit fixed it for me.

I do wonder about the characters created around here. I never understood the appeal of it. I don't generally do that. What you see is what you get, this is pretty much how I am IRL. I don't play a character really. I never understood the point of it. I think if anyone who knows me here met me IRL they'd probably be astounded by the similarities.

This can be a brutal crowd unfortunately. BUt I do think its possible for newer member to integrate in and build up the rep needed to make bolder statements. If a new account comes in and makes some bold claim, its going to be beat down. We operate on uncertainty. Rep I guess is pretty much on of our only metrics on deciphering the truth. But I do hope that quality people don't leave anymore than they have b/c of the constant trolling and idiocy. We can't even fucking buy drugs without acting like a bunch of idiots.

This was my problem I faced this month.

I had a nearly two year old account, had done many reviews and was very active in this sub...really the only place I posted on Reddit. Took reviews very seriously, never a single 100/100...never for extra on next order because I bought for personal use as I feel most people on this sub are and reviews should be objective and subjective. But subjective regarding the product's strength more than anything.

Then a couple weeks ago I felt for Opsec reasons I should delete the acct and start again. Now no reputation and I'm sure I'll be called a shill, etc when I start again. Kinda sucks but better safe than sorry.
