Should i be worried if TAILS didnt shut itself down automatically after i used it?

I shut tails down and the last screen said if your computer doesn't automatically shut down in 3 seconds then it may mean the memory wiping has failed.

It didn't shut down. Should i be concerned?

This is known problem with some machines running Tails. It should not be of any concern.

Not really.

Memory will clear its self relatively quickly on it's own. The point of the memory wiping is if someone catchs your computer and you only just have enough time to shutdown. Theorectically they could grab it, get the ram and cool it down. The cooler the better.

Once cold the data in the ram would be retained and they could get at your in memory encryption keys.

But over the course of a couple of minutes the data would become useless without power so it's not amazingly useful feature.

Mine never does. I always have to manually shutdown when I get to that screen.
