Does tor even do anything anymore?

I don't know, I just feel like it's BTC, PGP, and encrypted computers that keep people protected. I also heard of a clearnet site that's legitimately selling weed. I'm sure if feds want they simply order from a vendor, find the return address, order again and stake out the location. In theory I think a clearnet market is definitely possible.

Or maybe I'm just dumb.

Tor is easy to use. Why make it simple for the Feds to track which markets you are transacting with? Without Tor, even if you use encryption, they will get the meta-data on who you are contacting..

BitCoin to hide your transaction, PGP to encrypt your data and TOR to anonyms your location.

another thing, the clear net site is much easier to shut down than a tor hidden service, also you can't seize an onion URL like u can a clear net domain

I ordered from darkcoinsite dot com recently and their stuff looks like a certain seller from the darknet. Some people said darknet dealers will make several clearnet sites and inflate the prices, I don't know how true that is. At first I thought it might be LE, but I haven't had the feds run up in my home yet and the order arrived yesterday, so hopefully everything is good.
