I think most notable on that list is Bungee54. He has clearly been arrested, and that puts paid to the notion that private, single-vendor marketplaces are somehow inherently safer than the big ones.

Hasn't there been some weird shit going down with Bungee in the past few weeks? It seems very possible that he has been working with the Feds in hopes of a more lenient sentence. I think all Bungee54 customers might want to clean house and lay low for awhile. In particular, those buying bulk amounts for resale should assume that they have been compromised, and that their identities are known to LE.

Be safe and err on the side of caution, people. If the Feds have your name, you do not want them to find anything incriminating in your home. This includes drugs, paraphernalia, scales, bags, and of course, all your technology. Tails USB drives should be destroyed and disposed of, and a DBAN wipe of your hard drive with a clean install of the OS should be performed on any machines that you've used for DNM purchases.

This may seem excessive, but I'd much rather do it and not need it than need it and not have it done. IMO, there's no such thing as being too cautious when your very freedom is at stake.

Yeah so they are saying 27 sites got taken. I guess what stands out to me is the mention of bungee54 and farmer1. I hope farmer is good he is an awesome guy with great bud.

Article says 27....

So now that we know what was seized, are we any close to figuring out who was seized?

SR2 we know was totally fucked right from the start. Anyone that's missing is either caught or running their ass off because Defcon ain't built for doing hard time and he likes to sing.

Looking at some of the other sites, it seems like the admin staff very suddenly went from very vocal to practically invisible in the past month. Spooked? Carted away?

A few sites were operating normally right up until they disappeared, and some of them are obviously direct sale sites. It'll be interesting to see what happens to one of /r/DarkNetMarkets favorite, all-american grower of premium, all-american weed, farmer1 now that he's hit the big time.

Rhetoric aside, DPR and Defcon ran multimillion dollar drug rings, and got caught because they both fell for their own bullshit and thought they really were the characters they played. Nobody sympathizes with them.

farmer1 just grows kickass weed. It will be interesting to see how LE responds and how the media swings. Things are about to get much more interesting.

<tl&dr> Holy shit! farmer1 just hit the big time! </tl&dr>

According to FBI spokesperson David Berman, the 400 URLs only amount to a dozen or so sites. “There are many URL’s to particular sites,” he said. “We’re still going through the results of the operation.”

wow, he's a fucking moron who knows he's made a moronic mistake.

Came for the list. Was disappoint. Here, let me get that for you...

The narcotics sites are:

Other seized sites sold stolen and counterfeit credit cards. “Fake Real Plastic,” for example, sold cards “printed to look just like real VISA and Mastercards” and “[g]uarenteed to have at least $2500 left on [the] credit card limit,” according to the complaint. The other sites in this category are:

Next up were sites with counterfeit currency. On “Super Notes Counter,” a person could get $1,000 worth of counterfeit currency for only $420, according to the complaint. Other sites included

Finally, the complaint lists the sites offering fake identity documents, including passports. These sites are:

So many sites ive never heard of

[5 Points] None:

Seizure - A seizure is the physical findings or changes in behavior that occur after an episode of abnormal electrical activity in the brain.

Siezure - Take hold of suddenly and forcibly.

[3 Points] WoxicFangel:

DarkNet needs a doctor after that many seizures

[3 Points] sobulbous:

Maybe the original 414 site seizure number was because C9 has individual URLs for each vendor?

[3 Points] TorIsCompromised:

It was 17 arrests, not seizures.

In Brazil, there are 100 arrests issued related to Tor. http://www.reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarkets/comments/2logre/tor_is_compromised_according_to_brazilian_federal/

[2 Points] donniehead:

But I believe Alpaca/Cannabis Road are coming back up? Are they officially being run by LE? or are LE lying their asses off?

[2 Points] OrdinaryToaster:

According to FBI spokesperson David Berman, the 400 URLs only amount to a dozen or so sites.

Wow......so they are counting silkroad.onion/login and silkroad.onion/browse (theoretical urls) as 2 "hidden services"......trying to make it look a lot better than it actually is...
