The police stops the extensive drug trafficking via the Darknet

The police have a successful collaboration with the Swedish Prosecution avoided massive sales of narcotic drugs via Darknet.

In connection with a major police operation in Västerbotten and Norrbotten in the afternoon on February 24 where 70 police officers participated detained seven people suspected of involvement in serious drug crime. Later arrested four of these people on probable cause suspected of serious drug offenses. Three of the suspects omhäktades earlier today by Skellefteå District Court.

Police suspect that sales going on for several years and it has been very extensive.

The transfers have been made to recipients in Sweden and other countries worldwide. Generally it is difficult to access criminal activities via the Darknet. For investigative reasons, it has not been possible previously to describe the scope of the case. Now an investigation is underway to examine further the overall level of activity.

Police currently see no connection between this case and the previous case in Wilhelmina municipality regarding the cultivation of cannabis.

So if I am understanding them correctly they have documented 1000+ transactions, unclear if they have address of buyers or not.
