In a way, kudos to them for saving the kids life but seems like they were happy to setup an account to entrap him.

The basis of this plea was that he attempted to purchase the abrin with a view to committing suicide.

On 6 February 2015, the 16-year-old attempted to place an order and also suggested he would make future purchases in larger quantities.

Something doesn't add up here...

seems odd that he was planning on ordering larger quantities if he was going to use it for suicide though.

being sentenced on 4/20 ayyy

Does anyone know where the vendor was located? Perhaps a bit of profiling of known LE accounts / methods is in order to try and find similarities in them. If he wanted to die there are probably a thousand more pleasant ways to go... Fuck him.

why aren't you allowed to kill yourself?. Imagine actually going through with all that and ending up locked in a cage.. he needs medical help, not a prison!.

Reading up on this shit it sure sounds like a shitty way to die.

There was another person from this part of England arrested a while ago also trying to buy the exact same chemical to kill her mother, the Police must have had the account im not sure what market on.

[1 Points] helenahandcart:

I suspect that under standard counter-terrorism practice LE are monitoring searches for poisons and chemicals capable of causing mass casualties. So, if some sociopath gets entrapped specifically for that offence - job well done.

[1 Points] Breaking_Dab:

Have there ever been any legitament poison vendors before?

[0 Points] SpecialAgentDildo:

They can entrap all the terrorists they want as far as I'm concerned. Never heard of that chemical but it sounds nasty. Too bad this made news they should of sealed it so they could catch more idiots. I guess they needed to toot there horns a bit.

[0 Points] None:

Entrapment maybe but preventing a poisoning is a good move.
