I am curious as how, mainly vendors, convert their btc to cash. I know vendors can't just sit on tens and thousands of dollars in bitcoin. How would they go re-up their stock? Ask the cartel if they accept bitcoin? Yeah...I don't think so. And vendors have to eat and pay bills, just like the rest of us. This is one thing I've noticed that doesn't really get talked about a whole lot around here too. (Reason?)
I've done some research and people keep suggesting LocalBitcoin and resell them off myself. But that's more work than I'd like & other various reasons I'm not going to get into. I'm looking for something a bit faster and easier. Like walk-in, say "I want this amount of my btc in cash please." And walk out a happy man. Done! Aren't there services out there that convert btc to cash? And I'm not talking about $10,000's. I'm thinking maybe $1,000 - $2,000 at most.
So, if someone could explain my options, I would greatly appreciate it. It's one aspect of this community I don't understand at all and would like to if I eventually start to vend.
PM's are welcome if you want to stay discreet and out of the public view.
Thanks in advance everybody.
You can turn a fairly large amount of bitcoins into cash under the table with LocalBitcoins and your name doesn't need to be attached to any of it.
Then you can launder that through a legal business by misreporting sales on purpose. E.g. you sold $4,152 in product today for real, so you write down that you sold $5,452 of product. You pay taxes on the $1,300 of dirty money, and it becomes clean.
Some people use businesses that are already open (like if you know a corrupt boss who'll cook the books for you in exchange for some money) and other people will open their own businesses specifically for laundering their money.
Also, keep in mind that you don't actually need to launder all of your money. Buying furniture? Use cash. Buying food? Use cash. You can use cash for just about everything anyway, you just have to be careful not to use it for shit like houses and cars and boats all the time or you'll raise eyebrows.
