Got an order from Black bank.

I put an order in right before the down time, apparently the vendor saw it somehow and shipped. So right now he's out his product since I can't release escrow. Before I contact him on another market, what's the customary thing to do in a situation like this? Offer to split the loss with him?

It's the risk vendors all take. Buyers the same. But if you feel sympathy to do so. Then do it. Vendors have hard jobs and if they treat you good then no reason to not return the favor.

Cheers mate!

I would personally just be thankful. We sent out a few orders before shit went down that we won't be paid for and have accepted that. I'm more worried about the people we didn't get to fulfill.
