Would you try out Shadowcash if it would be finished?

Shadowcash including it's market, communication and anonymization features is in the making for a long time now. If ever finished it would make the 3 or 4 applications (services) obsolete we are using today. Bitcoin, TOR, PGP and Tumbling would be unified in one application and one graphical user interface.

Considering there are no general security concerns (i.e. bad code): Would you give it a try?

No. They can't say who the cryptographer is on their team, and they pooled some money together to get it audited by Isidor Zeuner which never happened. Their blockchain a few months ago was deanonymized by Shen Noether who only then helped them fix the bug after the paid him a bounty.

No I don't trust them.

Compartmentalization keeps things opsexy. I don't know about all this bundling business. What would happen if one of the links in the chain became comprimised? Can one bad apple spoil the whole bunch?

I think it's an interesting project. And it definitely doesn't hurt to have these kind of developments, so I honestly don't get why people have to hate on the project itself.. But I will most likely never use it.

LOL it won't make anything obsolete. It will become obsolete much before all of that

Very interesting topic. Out of all the coins out there, this is one of the few that has any value on their product. Unlike dash, and monero, this takes a different approach on its target market, giving power to common people rather than just certain entities. Monero and dash can be the new 7eleven/walmart, but shadow can be the new ebay/amazon. Why? Because a normal user can make his own shop. So... As a shop owner, inwould use this :)

I have lost too much in centrelized markets shutting down randomly. I'm so sick of it I don't use it anymore. Shadow seems to be a cool idea. If I did trust sending any sort of money to any sort of market even after Silk Road's crush, why wouldn't I give it a try?

Uh no.
