I ordered a large number of 25i earlier today, and had it sent to my old address instead of my new one. It's only a few streets off from my current address, and I've already contacted the vendor correcting the address. If he doesn't correct this before sending it off, what should I do.
I've had a few ideas. One being placing a note in their letterbox saying I messed up the address on a mail, and ask if they could call me on a throwaway phone (still not sure on this) right away. I was also thinking of camping their letterbox, but I don't want to have to do this for the next 3 weeks.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
PS. I'm aware I may be completely retarded, but it was a habit as I only moved a short while ago.
Did you not file a change of address form? It forwards all mail lettered to you, at your old address, to your new address for a period of 6 months. I would also contact the new people who live at the address and tell them to contact you if any of your mail isn't forwarded (email seems to work best, but give them your phone too, or you can just give them a burner email, if you will).
It's not really a big deal, what's more retarded is you not knowing about having to register your new address and a change of address form with the USPS. You did get your address and stuff changed with the DMV and such, right? Seriously, just google 'Im a big boy now and I have no idea what I'm supposed to do when I move, what do I need to do' and it'll all come up.
