Did acid change the way marijuana effects you?

I am not an lsd expert or user, but I have at least had 80+ hits, mostly from the dnm's and it has personally changed the intensity and effects marijuana has on me. And it also seemed to take place after two really bad trips, one in particular. And I have only had two bad trips on acid. Ever since those trips, both being fairly close together marijuana is way more intense, sometimes even scary intense, almost like I am having those bad trips again. There have been instances where I literally pass out and cannot stay awake (after smoking weed), but when I do wake up I feel like I am tripping major balls and it feels like I am on acid again. Has anyone had this experience before? For the record both of the nightmare trips on acid I have had I think were due to smoking way to much weed while tripping. And to be honest ever since the second bad trip I have been unwilling to use acid again, which sucks because every single trip, other than those two, were fucking amazing.

What is this?

Watch that YouTube video. After an intense psychedelic experience, we change... Completely. And it all comes down to perspective. At least that's my experience. Ego death for me was terrifying because my mind and body felt myself leaving and feeling some changes. After that point I have never 'came back down'. It can be a nightmare and you can lose your mind and go crazy. Or it can be a gift and lead you farther along your path knowing who you are and explaining what words can not. To me it was all about perception. So in my experience. Give it a few months before you try smoking and ease into it. Eventually your find yourself. But no it most likely will not be the same again. I could be wrong everybody is different, but in my experience and others I have seen its a permanent change. Not just making pot psychedelic, life becomes psychedelic.

Man, all you guys saying acid has made you a lightweight or something are lucky. When I was younger, I used to get so high it was almost scary, and now I smoke about an eighth a day (I'd call myself addicted, at least habitually) and I just get sort of slumped like a dab high or heavy indica high no matter what the strain is. Bums me out, man, I miss the good ol' days. In your case, OP, look up "HPPD". Acid can affect you long term the same way that MDMA can be neurotoxic in bursts or long term.

Weed has always baffled me. The first six or so times I smoked were completely different than every time since. So fucking gone but absolutely enjoyed it. But now I just want to sleep every time I get all that high. Can't maintain a train of thought (however nonsensical) and it just bothers me.

Similar for acid. Every trip has been different but I can't say I've ever really had a great time on it. Haven't had what I would call full on bad trips but they just put me a weird space. Sometimes useful in hindsight. NEVER gotten euphoria from psychedelics which is a bummer, molly is my favorite drug. Never mixed MDMA and acid though, I think that should just be the way I do it from now on.

I have recently learned that with all drugs you should try to "lean in" to their effects, just be aware you're weird because of whatever you took and try to enjoy it. Easier said than done of course.

I'm not sure if the bud is just better or what but I've noticed myself becoming more and more of a light weight over the past few years. Maybe I'm just getting older.

Yes at one point when I was using acid frequently it changed my experience with marijuana. I thought I was going insane the first time it happened as I'd never felt anything quite like it after smoking a lot maybe a week after one of my trips. Any advice that one would probably give on this matter would be to stop using acid for a while and you'll be fine.

Im thinkng the overwhelming feeling of being high might be triggering some PTSD because Ive had bad trips on mushrooms, and an almost bad trip one time on acid and weeds never been diffferent except for outside perspective/perception usually

YES.

I had this conversation with a friend about a year ago. Smoking reefer is much more trippy to me now.

I actually haven't read the rest of your post, so I'm going to now and might edit this later. But yeah, we both agreed that mary jane makes the whole thought process a little more convoluted and complex whereas before we were a little more sedated and giddy.

yup. used to be a daily dabber. once i started dropping L regularly (and other psychedelics), dabbing just sent me into a "trip-like" high. for the first time ever, it was just too much for me. made the switch back to smoking flower again and it wasnt really a problem anymore.

ill still take a dab on the occasion that its offerred to me tho hehe

This strikes me as a "I took mushrooms and went to Astroworld and I had a bad time."
