Not sure if it's been done before, haven't looked into it tbh. But how well, and to what extent, would a donation cover protect a drug operation? And what would be a good cover story? I would say something that is believable but not so believable, because what happens when enough soccer moms feel so bad for your cancer-stricken mother your "story" goes viral, and now the cover for your heroin operation is in the public's face. Criticism welcomed, preferably constructive unless this is a complete waste of time, in which case please lmk. For educational purposes, ofc.
Edit: I would never actually use a cancer story to cover laundering, i merely used it to get a point across. And this was directed more at those new gofundme's and alike sites. Maybe setting up "Roberta's college fund," don't think too many people would go into that. Have how ever many of those you need and don't put too much money into one account.
