[CommunityDiscussion] Some Thoughts For The Vendors Who Might Read This..

I have found that almost every vendor I've worked with on the darknetmarkets has been shady/deceitful in one way or another and while I understand the nature of drugs dealing is inherently shady, I would LOVE if vendors could just employ honesty as their policy. Having been in "sales" for years I find it is always always always the best policy to go with. Making up excuses and elaborate reasons as to why someone hasn't received their product is just a waste of time. Just keep things short and simple and explain things to me with the best of your knowledge pls. If you're a vendor and reading this please just be a HOMIE and DONT be a Shady Shade McShade.

In the Grand Wizard's experience, the majority of vendors and buyers are honest. There are definitely plenty of scammers and scoundrels on both sides of the fence, but they are in the minority. And a little bit of caution and common sense will go a long way toward avoiding those.

I haven't come across this. I don't doubt this to be the case with some or maybe many vendors. But ones I've worked with have always been very professional

The fuck? Is this some sort of weird FUD? I'd say 80-90% of the vendors I've dealt with have been just fine. The same ratio (if not better) than ebay. I do pay attention to feedback before ordering and check here usually, too. So maybe you just need to do better research. I also try to be friendly to them. Some vendors I've worked with are extremely professional. I know of one who rather than accept donations for good comms, has links to charities that accept BTC. That's the opposite of shady/deceitful. Do bad ones exist? Obviously. Exit scams happen. But the way you describe this as being the majority of vendors is just the complete opposite of my experience.

Every vendor I've dealt with has been fine to awesome. In fact, I find dealing with the cable company or contacting Craigslist apartment listers to be orders of magnitude shadier experiences than DNM purchases.

So one thing I will say I've noticed - vendors who have flamed out or have had issues, it boils down to those vendors not being upfront or honest, especially about when something was shipped. Keep in mind I'm not saying this is a huge problem as many, many orders go off without a hitch (you don't hear about people getting their shit timely), but of those that do go wrong, it seems that it begins with "lies" about when it was shipped. Vendors mark as shipped, nothing comes, vendor then says it didn't ship, had problems sourcing or whatever. For instance, this may have been one of the facets with Sleep's issue - it seems that he marked shit as shipped, then cancelled orders. Problems compounded, he got his account disabled, and its probably a mess to sort now. So b/c he marked shit as shipped (this is what I heard in the threads at least), now the mods sorting shit out won't know what was truly shipped and what was just marked as shipped.

A lot of problems could be avoided if vendors are upfront and honest. If something is late, don't mark as shipped so the customer will get off your dick. Tell them there is a delay. Just be fucking upfront, that'll solve 90% of problems. I think most people are understanding, they know shit comes up, and if you jsut say "Hey, I haven't shipped b/c XYZ, I'm really sorry, workingo n it", that'd solve a shitload of problems. Now don't confuse what I'm saying, my experiences have been that vendors have been honest about shipping times. They ship when marked shipped. I'm just saying of the small percentage where there are issues, this is absolutely true.

And on the flip side, customers who want their vendors to be honest, don't freak out if something doesn't get marked ship within 4 hours. Patience. Just chill. I've fucked up before where I didn't plan properly and needed something quick. I'm much better now with planning so I'm not doing ordering last minute, stalking my mailbox and cursing at it when its empty. I've never hated a mail box nor loved it as much as I do since the DNMs.

People are pretty forgiving, but if you don't show them the respect of being honest, then this isn't hte case.

There are two types of people using the darknet:-

People who do what they say

and people who don't.

Can you cite some examples? Don't name the vendor, just tell us exactly in what way they were dishonest? Product dosage? Strength? Product description? etc

plusfour and righteous aren't shady at all :)
