1 BTC went missing when I sent it to Bitcoinfog. What happened!?

EDIT: My BTC did arrive safe and sound 36 h after it arrived. Please don't use this post as proof that btcfog is scamming.

........ Hello friends, been lurking here for about 2 years and have learnt alot from this fantastic community. Now I could use some help. Created a throwaway for this question.

Yesterday I got a new hard drive for my computer. The first thing I did was to download Electrum, which I've read about on here but never tried before. I then bought 1 BTC and transfered it to my brand new electrum wallet. Next I sent the 1 BTC to my wallet on Bitcoinfog (around 16:30 yesterday) but it never showed up. To reach bitcoinfog I always go to bitcoinfog.com and then use the onion-link provided on the webpage. I was just in there but it still haven't shown up.

I've noticed that bitcoinfog.co is a scam-page and Im always very careful when wrighting adresses and always check the adress I reach before typing in my log in information.

From my understanding Bitcoinfog has always been one of the "good guys", read some posts about people beeing scammed by them but also that those posts may have been fake.

I've never had a transfer take this long however, and im starting to get a bit worried.

What can I do to find my BTC? Is this type of delay normal?

message their non-existent support.
Check the blockchain, if you have more than 6 confirmations all you can do is wait for fog to credit your account

Well, now you can make up your own mind whether people who say BitcoinFog is scamming are fake.

is there any reason you can't post under your regular reddit account on r/bitcoin ? its not illegal to buy or tumble bitcoin

[1 Points] davaunte:

why do people continue to use bitfog? it's been notorious for scamming, not selective scamming, not select scam, not select scamming, but scamming..... i really wonder why people expect their outcome to be anything different than getting scammed... scammed..... nope, i haven't been scammed by bitfog, because i've never used it, nor will i, but if you read the forums, all the posts about it are scam related and being scammed..... scammed
