It sounds like Ross made some major opsec mistakes with Silk Road. Has anyone tested that Agora and Evolution and other major markets are not making similar blunders? Have experienced programmers and opsec people tested them?
Similar opsec mistakes being made?

All the bigger markets are probably subject to hacking attempts regularly, due to the large amounts of bitcoins involved. Both Agora and Evolution have operated now for almost a year, so I'd say they're on pretty solid footing. Compare to shitty Silk Road 2, which was up for barely 2 months before someone Defcon stole all their coins.
But forget "testing", the FBI's top programmers may have made Evolution for all anyone knows. :-p
you have to run under the assumption there are security flaws in every program. Because there are. Now whether those flaws have been detected/exploited by LE is another question. Worst case scenario LE has already infiltrated all major markets and are compiling a database of all user dox and purchases. In 6 months they will spring into action operation darknet sweep arresting 173,000 people across 25 countries crippling the darknet drug trade. They already are taking control of the tor nodes to make it that much easier.
Add in package profile logistics of all known contraband and it becomes easier to single out postage packages with drugs. Those are then selected to be put through the new Magnetic resonance Imaging devices they are installing at all Custom entry points..
I am talking out my ass... boot up kali and attack with nessusd LOL...
