I just had a thought; if a vendor were to get some of these stickers, wouldn't the packages be let through no matter what?

Wow what dumb fucks. Your home n dry
Looks like you're home free if it's been inspected, accepted, and delivered. I think the stories of "they put something in my package to prove that I opened it" stories happen in conjunction with a controlled delivery - which probably means you wouldn't have had time to make this post before being swept away.
I had a non-DNM related international letter arrive at the same time as a domestic DNM letter. The post man was holding both, asking me to sign for the customs-opened international letter. I could see my DNM order on top, and I could see the customs tape under it. Freaked me out, but I knew what the intl-letter was and the postman pointed out I was only signing for that.
It's still a little freaky though that customs seem to be quite a-okay with slitting open "official-looking" documents in the mail. This document had all the hallmarks of being from a legit institution with 0 commercial value, and it does cause me to question how much international ordering I should be doing in the first place.
