Boomers' Cannabis Fudge [Evo]

I bought some indica cannabis fudge from boomers on Evo. It arrived in 2 days UK domestic and stealth was good (I appreciated the care that went into it). I don't have any experience of cannabis or edibles.

It cost about $17.50 including postage which is quite high. It is made professionally and is delicious, but it is crispy and brittle, not quite what I was expecting. It looked darker than in the picture. I forgot to weigh it before I tried some, but it's not sold by weight so it shouldn't matter too much. It's not a generous amount (estimate 45g). It's advertised as "infused the fudge with the equivalent of 0.6 of a gram of weed which means i would recommend you eat no more than one third of the fudge. If it is your first time with edibles i would say less than that."

I had about a third at 8:45pm (31g remaining) on a completely empty stomach. After 1hr 30min I don't really feel any different. I nibbled at at it a bit more. I only have no more than half left (19g), it's been at least 2hr 20min and I don't really feel any different. I'm quite disappointed. I might eat the rest of it and see what happens, but it's difficult to do because it is so sweet. Shouldn't I be completely stoned right now? I have some tolerance to benzos but I don't smoke weed at all so I was expecting the fudge to be reasonably potent. Any advice?

Edit: I just ate the rest of it (3hr in). The main thing I feel is nausea now because of the amount of sugar in the fudge.

Edit2: I ate it all and nothing happened except after 7 hours I felt a bit of anxiety which has lasted over 30 minutes so far.

You should be feeling SOMETHING. It sounds like a bad batch to me.

I'm sure people will doubt me, but I seem to be immune to edibles for some reason. I'm from Seattle originally (far from there now) and I've probably tried a dozen different forms of them from people who should know what they're doing and I've never had any effect whatsoever. One night I consumed capsules and edibles that, according to their packaging, should have contained about 200mg of THC and got nothing despite my friends eating literally about 1/10th the quantity of the same products and ending up on Jupiter.

I have no idea why this is and it's incredibly frustrating, as the way people describe edibles sounds fantastic to me. Every time I've brought it up to people, including more than one who ran a fucking dispensary, they say, "Oh, you just haven't had good edibles. Try this," and the result is always the same -- nothing.

For what it's worth, I have the genotype that makes it so your liver doesn't process codeine, though I sincerely doubt that it's related. I also spent a couple stupid years of my youth seeing how fast I could destroy my liver with alcohol, but I'm very healthy now and I've seen no other signs of long term liver impairment.

Probably not what you want to hear, but at least in my experience they just don't work on some folks.

im on 3 of his pills 2 hrs in after eating pasta and ive just started feeling something. You should be feeling something certainly try waiting a bit longer but otherwise perhaps there was a mistake mixing it up. Bare in mind indica has far more of a body high than a head high so you will feel it more in the body and be slower rather than have pacing thoughts and being creative

Keep us updated OP, sometimes edibles can take more than 4 hours to kick in.
