Signatures for international packages?

When does an international package require a signature and when does it not? Does it have anything to do with tracking? I thought it was common knowledge that signature = CD so when it happened to me a while back I nearly shit myself... but ended up signing anyways (stupid, I know... I was like a deer in the headlights. And I reallly wanted my drugs :p) But now I've seen a couple vendors saying that their packages require a signature.

Can somebody please explain this to me?

When it's requested or required based on the type of mail you're sending. Registered mail with tracking always requires a signature, no option to opt out. Signature can be requested for things like XpressPost. Tracked mail for international mail usually requires a signature. Canada but probably similar for US and elsewhere.

Ive signed for tons of packs from red flag contries. Try and get to lnow your mail man. I know her by forst name, and exactly when she comes. If something was up i would know...

It only requires a sig if it has drugs in it. ;)

When you're ordering international, try and get a clear answer from the vendor whether a sig will be required. I know its not always so easy with some China vendors. But EUR to USA is usually clear. Ive gotten unregistered untracked uninsured mail from nordick states (and another) in 6 days! No sig required. That's faster than some domestic. Waaaaaaaaaaat?
