Let's talk about "casual" OPSEC

So what are the basic measures yall take as far as local vending? I've only ever resold stuff to friends, really small-time mostly as favors and etc, but am still young and in a promising career path and pretty much can't afford to be put away for selling stuff like LSD.

Buying on the markets got me really thinking about opsec, specifically the kind that offers you the most protection for the least amount of mental effort to maintain. Like recently, if anyone texts me for drugs, I automatically invite them to Wickr and basically don't talk about anything drug-related outside of it, in case LE were to somehow subpoena records from my phone company. Now of course this is a step below using a burner, which would be technically more secure, but an order of magnitude higher than is necessary for someone like me who only sells a few bags a week.

Also I put the majority of my stash in a location near the house that's outside and super unlikely to be discovered by passerby. So even if I got literally raided, the house would still be clean (except for my weed and maybe a pill or two lying around) unless they got a dog or something to sniff out the box a few streets over.

Any other suggestions? I'm curious what everyone here does, especially if this isn't your full time thing.

EDIT: How do I into flairing post

What is this?

Isn't Wickr suspect/frowned upon because it's not open source? The general consensus seems to be that the Signal messaging app is a more secure choice

I open incognito mode in chrome

For a relatively small-time seller and presumably a teenager you're pretty well set, mate. Just keep the selling to people you know and trust, and the friends of those people.

Here's what I do. The Honor 5x is a fantastic phone for $200 and it gives me dual sim card slots. I only contact through call, and have a normal sim and a trap sim that i could ditch or even swallow its tiny. It's not bulletproof but its another wall.

Wickr is good though.

I do the same thing as you really, just have a difficult time trying to hide the laptop and usb w/ tails lol.

Stop using Wickr (it's not open source and hasn't been audited) and use Signal instead. Open Whisper Systems is a great company regarding security and privacy.
The only data they store (confirmed by FBI subpoena) is 2 pieces of information: last sign in time and date of account creation.
If you're gonna be selling remember to never leave any fingerprints or identifiable information on your product and only sell in real life to people you trust.

depends doing small stuff if you know the person for a long time an trust them an know where they sleep I'd do it openly an just meet them then do a run have them follow me an do random turns make sure there not followed then do your thing. If you barely know them I'd most likely just not do it because I have a good solid few that buy enough from me locally from high school to where I don't need to deal randomly or on a corner.
