Package on the way. Im pretty sure my name is flagged.

I ordered an international package and its coming in soon. Since I ordered it, my name has been flagged by LE (dont bother asking for what) its from Non-DMN case and I havnt been charged with anything. I live with 2 other roommates. They know whats happening and they said "they'll deny everything." I doubt they will keep their mouths shut when LE throws them in jail for not talking. Im going to talk to a lawyer tomorrow morning about this. How often does LE flag names with the postal service? or do they? I need to prepare for the worst. I told my roommates to just avoid home so they wont get arrested when the package comes in, only me.

So just clean house and get a lawyer? What should I say to the lawyer?

I think Im going to put all my valuables on craigslist to be ready to be sold if I get busted to pay for lawyer fees or the bail bond.

Also your roommates shouldn't deny. Nor should you. They should just not speak to LE. You don't want to get your roommates lying for you and possibly getting in trouble. Plus not talking is the best route anyway. If LE wants to throw them in jail they'll throw them in jail. Denying won't prevent that. But police can't just go around throwing people in jail. If they are looking for you, they'll look for you. Having your roommates lie could get them in trouble. And it serves no purpose anyway.

Don't talk. That's the best advice I can give. And lawyer up like you are doing. You should always keep a clean house while an order is in transit. The CD isn't just for popping you for the drugs in the package. It's to execute a search warrant and pop you for that shit - which will be easier to prove than a DNM pack.

Not sure for what reason you think your name was "flagged" (I understand why you don't want to talk about it here) but if it has nothing to do with the DNM or the mailing system in general I'm not sure I would worry about them watching your mail.

They would watch your mail coming into the counrty if previous packs had been found or if you were a known importer. I don't really think your mail would be flagged for other criminal investigation.

But yes if you are this concerned everythign you mentioned is best if you clean house and contact a lawyer (maybe good to do it before maybe get the info so you can contact them if you need them)

Legally you can tell them the truth they are under oath to only help you and keep all info you give them confidential. I.E if you admit to murdering someone to your lawyer he can not admit this and he can not be forced to testify about it. Tell your lawyer everything pertaining to your situation, it will best help them help you.

I got a possession charge a little ago just got a pack. I was a little worried but it was all in my head.

It's not common for LE to flag mail and addresses. If you got popped for an IRL crime it's doubtful they are watching your mail. Maybe if you committed crimes involving the mail. Otherwise there are people around here who order who have been arrested and such. Not that I recommend that. But it's not common for LE to flag your mail.
