Serious discussion about Agora

First off, throwaway account but not a shill account. Would honestly just like to discuss

I would like to start a serious discussion about whether or not we should trust Agora and if people are planning on moving there. There is speculation that Bitcoinfog was in on the Czechmate, can anyone confirm this? Because obviously that would be a huge blow to Agora's credibility.

I understand that it is a little underwhelming right now because there is obvious improvement that needs to be done to the site. But the fact of the matter is that people have been trusting bitcoinfog with millions and millions of dollars/euros/pounds worth of bitcoins and they haven't screwed us over. This is the reason that I believe it can be trusted, because we have known and trusted the source for so long.

Thoughts?

Bitcoin Fog by its very nature is iffy. I mean if that was your business, would you refuse to tumble coins on ethical grounds, in case they were stolen for example? Nope, that is what they do - the same as any money launderer - they don't care where the money's from and they take their %%. They are as complicit as you would expect in the SM debacle, but I suggest it's after the fact. Agora sounds sketchy, but time will tell.

Agora appears to be down...

I recently thought I lost ~$50 using bitcoin fog (coins didn't appear well past the time limit). I asked their support for help and the next day they replied, looked into it, and I got all my coins back. I don't know about Agora, but at least to me, bitcoin fog seems pretty devoted towards their customers.

Don't trust it one bit. But to be honest, the only site I have any amount of faith in is SR 2.0, but I'm even a little bit sketched out from that as well. Just make quick orders, order from trusted vendors, and don't leave your coins on any black market.

Good scammers earn trust over long periods of time. Remember why IPO became a dirty word.
