[Vendor Review] Trip with Science - Liquid Psilocybin (1.0 vial trip report)

Apologies in advance for the general newbishness of my being. I have dropped LSD four times, and I've tried magic mushrooms (legit shrooms, fresh from the cow shit) once. Unfortunately, I don't remember much of how my first shrooms trip went. I was also very high on marijuana at the time, thanks to the pressure of my peers. My experience in this area is somewhat limited.

Last weekend, I [19m] tripped with two female friends on Tybee Island. We each downed one of Trip's $20 vials with some orange juice, then walked out to the beach and into the water.

I was the first to feel "something." I hadn't eaten very much of anything that day and the drugs only took about 20-30 minutes to kick in. Contrary to my usual calm and melancholy demeanor, I began to feel giddy with excitement. The rise was very similar to my experiences with acid - a fullness of the chest, a swelling of emotion, a desire to squeeze the universe and wring it dry of all its joyful meaning.

So there we sat, floating in the ocean, chit-chatting. I began to get a bit giggly just before the visuals kicked in. The ocean turned into a Monet. Pink and purple hues splashed across the faces of my friends. The water became a deep, oily paint that would glide off the skin and strengthen and refresh the body.

When my friends finally started tripping (about 10 and 30 minutes behind me), we had some of the best conversations of my life. One of my friends noticed that, due to the flatness of the waves and the clearness of the skies, we appeared to be trapped in some kind of dome... sort of like the Truman Show. This sparked a bout of hysterical giggling as we discussed the absurdity of our prison and its creators.

Time got a bit weird. Every time we would change scenery, it felt like a different "chapter" of the trip. Then at the end, it felt like no time had passed at all. Sort of like Narnia or something.

At one point I heard my friend whisper in a terrified voice, "Why... Why is she hugging him?"

I look behind over my shoulder and on the beach there is an extremely pale, obese, and horribly unattractive woman embracing a black man of the finest physique. In my current state, it was the funniest. thing. I have ever seen.

I hate to say it, but we made splendid use of that poor woman's body in an incredible stream of mind-blowing social satire.

After a while in the ocean, we decided to head back to our little spot on the beach. Having spent so much time in the water, the whole beach seemed to be rocking back and forth as we passed by hundreds of fellow beach visitors. (This was definitely the most nerve-wracking part of the entire trip.) We collapsed onto our towels about 10 ft away from a big group of Naddy-drinking frat stars, who slowly took an interest in our apparent hysteria. They didn't really bother us though, so we continued cracking jokes and forming absurd philosophical tales of our situation ("What if we are actually inside a Dome within a Dome!", etc).

The trip itself lasted only about 2.5 hours, which was a bit shorter than I expected. However, it was difficult to be disappointed as the come-down felt amazing. We went back into the ocean and played in the waves. A brief storm came and went, and the clouds cracked open to spray evening sunshine across the sparkling waves.

We chilled in the water for over an hour, not really saying much - just enjoying the bliss of the day. I felt fully in control of every muscle in my body. I played in the waves like a sea otter, rolling and flipping perfectly into the swells. I felt completely at peace with life, existence, and even mortality. I was just lucky to have the chance to experience any of it. Then we drove back home with the windows down, music loud, the wind beating down on our happy faces. It was truly an incredible day.

Some notes

  1. Stealth was great, and the customer service was super friendly and helpful. I messed up my original order (newb, I know), and Trip warmly told me how to fix it. 5 stars.

  2. Today, I was unable to locate Trip's product on Nucleus (the market where I purchased from). I don't know why that is the case.

  3. Even though my experience with magic mushrooms is limited, the liquid psilocybin felt more similar to LSD than it did to shrooms. Take this anecdotal evidence with a grain of salt.

  4. Someone tested the chemical composition of this product, but the results seem inconclusive.

All in all, I would highly recommend this vendor's product.

Cheers, everyone. Have a great day and thanks for reading.
