[Question/OPSEC] What return address for repeat customers?

Should vendors be switching this up literally every single time they mail something?

What about the case of repeat customers? Won't an identical package from a new business/individual in the same city every single (or every other) week be more suspicious to the delivering mailman?

Just wondering what the best tactic is here...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I recall a criminal indictment... maybe it was Caligirl... where one of the factors LE used to profile the vendor was that he used the same return address on each batch of packages. So once they found one of his packages in a sorting center, it was easy to pull all of the other packages going through that sorting center. Eventually they figured out his drop locations and were able to use that as evidence to link him to the sales. If this is correct, and if you're serious about OPSEC, you'll use a unique return address on every package. Your call on whether the risk vs. hassle is worth it, though.

At the end of the day, criminal indictments are the "horse's mouth" answer to questions like this. Everything else is conjecture. (Thanks /u/gwern!)

I don't think it really matters. People receive legit mail from the same people all the time, I don't think your mail man would even care.

It might improve your OPSEC by a tad, but I don't think it's enough to make it worth changing the return address every time.

Yes, use address of different store or name vs address you can match from yellow pages

Use a different return address for each package, each group. That way you'll avoid all packs being pulled if one is caught.
