SIGAINT, lelantos, ruggedinbox, all dead. Any recommend for Tor email provider?

SIGAINT is dead so is lelantos and ruggedinbox. Need suggest on new email. I tried Lelantos but they are no longer working with no one able to log in see my comment history for references. Thoughts on mail2tor? Or is it a honeytrap? Why should I trust a "free service"?

Protonmail sucks because require phone number or registered credit card and dont trust javascript. Tutanota require phone number also.

No matter what service you use, even if it is a honeypot, as long as you encrypt sensitive info with pgp, you are fine.

I don't think these federated servers will be going down anytime soon. http://en.onionmail.info/directory.html

You can get an anonymous tor hidden email address at a lot of servers set up through that network and you can interface with the clearnet (gmail.com and so forth) through at least two domains (mxtor.xyz & onionmail.info) quite similar to how sigaint.org and lelantos.org once worked only with a bigger vision and purpose it seems. Pretty cool.

cock.li with enigmail.
It has the added benefit of having an admin you can call to complain to if it's offline. Just telephone +1 66-COCKMAN-6

Good luck signing up almost anywhere that doesn't require some kind of JS at least at signup. Protonmail also doesn't require a phone number, just another email which you can set to some kind of trashmail and get the activation code.

Mail2Tor seems the best option now (look in the superlist for the address).

A bunch of us lost $16 "registering" for lelantos. I am glad to see they were removed from the superlist.

lelantos is UP for me

Tutanota doesn't require phone number!

It's not a TOR server, but mail.ru is just as good anonymity-wise. Their servers are based in Russia, so good luck getting them to release any substantive data to US agencies. As long as you access it through a VPN/TOR and only communicate via PGP encrypted messages, you won't have a problem.

  1. Buy burner phone with cash and activate using fake info

  2. Use burner number to register anonymous email account

  3. ???

  4. Profit
