No reddit reviews but reviews on DNM

Don't think that just because a vendor is popular on Reddit it makes them better.
Plenty of vendors have become popular here and then ran off with their money.
Read reviews on the market, the market's forum if it has one, and here if you can. Then make an educated decision.

as long as you don't FE I think you should be good, but not 100%. i like reddit reviews just to confirm any suspicion i have

Vetting vendors is not really an easy task. As others have mentioned some vendors here had raving reviews before pulling an exit scam. I'm never turned-off by no reddit reviews, and have made purchases from vendors who had none. One purchase was kind of chancing it, especially since the vendor was relatively new.
First you have to read their review page. Recently I was about to go with a vendor for a specific product, but I noticed that a lot of his/her reviews had very similar language to what was on his/her profile page. I have no proof that these were fake reviews, but something seemed off; so I steered clear. Overly paranoid? Maybe, but when I'm about to drop $600+ on an order there's no way I'm going to chance it. DNM's are designed as such that competition is king. There were plenty of other reputable vendors for me to buy my product from without taking a chance on losing money. This all being said, the vendor whom I am referring to above seems like a legitimate vendor who now has other reviews in different case settings, different language/grammar, so maybe I missed out. That's the risk you take.
Once I've combed through the reviews and feel comfortable I like to start up a conversation with the vendor. It can be something as simple as product-related questions. Stay within the boundaries of what constitutes good opsec, for your sake and the vendor's as well. Once we get comfortable, I'll mention some previous DNM happenings (whether it's SR1, etc) and try to get a feel for how long the vendor has really been around.
Last, you're going to want to check the market's forums. Is the vendor an active poster? Does the vendor have a review thread? The forums are a great way to gauge a vendor's reliability. If you're on Evo, which doesn't list the buyer account stats on reviews, you'll definitely want to read through the forums for anything related to the vendor. Check their review thread out. Do all of the reviews have 1 or 2 posts only? If so, maybe you should steer clear. If the review threads have a smattering of posts from long-standing forum members saying that everything is okay, then it might be worth it to place your order.
tl;dr: Don't rely on reddit. Lobali already pointed out we're a very small percentage of DNM users. Use best judgement and read through vendor reviews on the DNM, strike up a conversation with the vendor, and always check the forums.

reddit is good for more accurate non shillish reviews (not to say they dont exist but atleast you can check post history etc. and review anonymously).
thats not to say a vendor with no reddit reviews is not legit. As lobali said its a small percentage of DNM users who use this subreddit not to mention post. I have a few friends that would never post here snce it spublic on clear net.
Only a small percent of DNM users post here. I never see the vendor I most commonly used discussed here. Actually quite a few. As long as you're finding reviews in more than one place, you're probably good.
