China Post Tracking - Is this Normal?

So I just looked at the tracking on something I have coming in to the US from China and the tracking looks really weird. It's had two security scans and a customs scan in the last two days. Does anybody know if this is normal for stuff being sent via China Post?

Is it a big order of something powder?

If you post the route it's taken I could tell you if it's normal. I've probably ordered 75 packages from China - anything from a Kilo to a gram. I know enough to have dogged a controlled delivery so I could probably tell you at least something.

This is the only listing I can find that is similar to my issue.

I ordered something direct from China for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I can see, via the tracking number, where is was scanned when it was picked up, then when it hit Shanghia. After that, I have nothing. I was wondering, since it appears there are people here that ship from China on the reg, how do you know when it hits the coast? Will I get another shipping number to check? When I message the sending company, they just tell me not to worry, it's on it's way and here is the original tracking number.

Any help would be awesome.
