ELI5: why is East India Company still on selection's list?

I recently saw a thread wherein some poor chump had deposited funds into EIC, and it was brought to his attention that he made a mistake. After that post, I noticed their market is on the active warnings list; but when did they commit the original transgression--disabled withdrawals? If that is the case, then why has selection not removed them from his site? I am experiencing some cognitive dissonance here.

So EIC was down for about a week, everyone said exit scam, then magically they came back their was hope in the world, we all instantly tried withdrawing our coins and.... nothing. Some tried depositing for some reason, didn't even show up as credited in the account. No one knows exactly whats happening anymore, my guess is they get off on us being confused

Have we ever gotten a true explanation as to what happened? We all lost quite a bit due to that, and now it's just sort of.... tauntingly sitting there?

You know what else, i lost 80 bucks. When it came online again half of it was missing. Bitcoin did not lose half its value either.

Of course withdrawal dont work so its a moot point, but i thought it was interesting.

Alright guys time for some fud. Personallyto me the way they talked about their backend system etc sounds like a crock of shit. It's most likely an elaborate exit scam in which they acted like they went down. Hired a bunch of shills to announce the market was back up in hopes that some unfortunate souls deposit in hope it's up or In ignorance/ they had an old deposit for Eic. Deopsited , and lost all of their funds... Sounds like the British to me.
