Monero, yay or nay?

I'm really tempted to use Monero for a purchase, since - correct me if I'm wrong - I could directly transfer my coins to my DNM wallet after purchase without having to worry about additional fees or hassles for tumbling and the like - since Monero's private/anonymous already anyway. (Read, I don'thave to obfuscate the link to my identity)

Am I looking at this too simplistically or missing something? What experiences have you made with Monero, good and bad?

Yea it's really that simple. Make sure to use the payment ID or you will lose your coins

Yes beside finding vendor that accept Monero you also will have more work to get Monero. Beside this two is no brainier not to use it. You will be way harder if not impossible to get tracked, you will pay lower fees and your transactions will go thru in 10 minutes.

Please send to a wallet you control first, then send to AB or wherever else.

While Monero uses stealth addresses, and the address you send to won't appear on the blockchain, you would be inputting the AB address right at the exchange, which could be a problem if they flag certain addresses.

If you send to yourself first, all the exchange has is random address you sent to, they won't be able to follow anything past that.

I switched to altcoins recently, not looking back, bitcoin is slow and expensive in fees, monero also needs no tumbling or any tricks to make anonymous...

Dogecoin.

You are correct. Now if your vendor doesn't accept Monero you can use xmr.to or shapeshift to get btc with no connection to your account. Monero is fantastic.

yay for sure

You need to find a vendor who accepts it
