Good news on the hiring freeze. It looks like USPS is exempt from the hiring freeze as stated in this guidance document which was released today (Section 3.f): https://www.chcoc.gov/content/federal-civilian-hiring-freeze-guidance Also, in Section 3.r.ii it exempts postions which meet public saftey responsibilities and if you go to the document it's references it specifically states law enforcement and criminal investigations. So it would appear to me that USPIS has double exempt status and should have no issues continuing to hire.
