How to store edibles

Just bought cannabis edibles for the first time and I don't know how to store them. Do they melt easily?

What kind of edibles are they? If they are chocolates I usually put mine in the fridge. If they are just cookies, brownies, you can just put them in some wax paper and leave them in a cool dry place. Not sure about long term storage I eat all mine up in the first couple days

I've had pot cookies stay good for over a year in the freezer in an air tight (tupperware) container, I imagine if you use a ziplock bag it will eventually get freezer burn.

freezer always works man

They should be stored in the freezer or fridge to prevent clostridium bacteria from growing in the extract. It has been known to be carried over in extracts and then grow in food products made with the extract when stored at even room temps.

Any Drybag such as this: https://www.amazon.com/Leader-Accessories-Waterproof-Boating-Camping/dp/B00EEZ296U

Or something you can get at REI is my prefered method.

I usually store about 4000mg of THC edibles, so roughly 40 doses at once, that last me a couple weeks.

Jar are also a great way, anything that is airtight, and DRY, will do the job. But like everyone else said the fridge is teh best way. Maybe get the dry bag and also fridge them up?
