The Final Destination: Delivered but not Delivered

This is a issue that has occurred to some of us and some more than others, I had it happen for the first time last week. What im talking about is the tracking showing the package is delivered but it not actually being there. A lot of the time from research of other posts and my personal experience it shows up a day or two later. Other times people have had to call and find out that they were delivered to the wrong address and are able to retrieve it.

What Im curious about is, if you dont call the post office and it never shows up where do you think the package actually ends up. Is it just lost for ever at a usps facility, is it at your neighbors doing all the drugs ( could they even turn the recipient in since it is illegal to open someone elses mail), will it end up getting returned to sender? Pretty much where do these "delivered" packages end up and should vendors or recipients have anything to worry about if the package never shows up

I prefer to stay excited and pleasantly suprised tbh

I assume its either a) at my of of my neighbors or b) in my fucktwad mailman's truck on the floor or some shit.

Not saying all mail personnel are fucktwads- just mine just is. Also, all my neighbors except 1 are weird and the type who would not bother doing anything if they got mail addressed to a different address until a day later.

As a postal contract worker in my spare time, I can tell you that everyone on here is drastically underestimating the amount of drug theft going inside the postal system.

I have zero faith in the USPS or the accuracy of their tracking methods. Even when offered tracking for free I turn it down when I'm ordering. Having a tracking number to obsess over causes more headaches than anything else.
