Letter No-Show

Here is the info: 30 days ago I had a 250mg sample of heroin shipped to me by standard mail. The vendor sent a reship priority which came fine.

Now, mail around here is usually slow. Sometimes things come on time, but usually they take a while longer (overnight can take 2-3 days, priority over a week, etc). Standard mail is supposed to take 2-7 days, according to some can take 1-4 weeks.

What I'm wondering if I'm safe at this point. I've gotten no love letter, no CD. The vendor has good stealth, and from what I've read standard mail that is not delivered is simply tossed, not even sent to Mail Recovery. However, until the letter shows up in my hand I can never be sure what happened, so I guess we're talking probablilities.

I've read that love letters either show up fairly quickly (i.e. within a week) or can take up to two months. Anyone have any insight? If it has been 30 days, am I likely set? When can I be reasonably certain I'm good? 60, 90 days? Again I realize this is all guesswork but those with more experience might have better insight.

Since the successful reship I've burned the address, the problem is my real name was attached to it so I'm concerned about trouble down the line. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Was the order domestic? Love letters generally come from customs.

My understanding is that USPS would make a reasonable effort to identify who a pack belongs to. If for some reason the RTS and recipient couldn't be located, they'd open it to see if they could get clues as to where it should go. Or does that not appeal to letters? It'd be RTS'ed though before it went ot mail recovery I'd think. So I'd think that if they couldn't RTS it or deliver it to you (assuming it was sent out), then the label was unreadable or came off or something to that effect. Nothing inside will identify you. Otherwise, they'd have shipped to you or RTS'ed. Probability wise you are probably fine.

You sure the vendor actually sent it out? It could ahve been an oversight. Vendors sometimes don't admit it and will just send a reship. You can't do much about it now. Burn the addy as you've done. Know your rights, but I imagine nothing will come of it.

Love letters are only for int'l, it's a customs thing. A seizure by customs doesn't mean an addy needs to be burned. I'm fairly positive that they don't involve usps at all, and don't involve LE unless it's a huge quantity.

Now if it was a domestic seizure thats a different story. I think the odds of a domestic order being seized would be slim to none. In that case it was probably never shipped or there was some issue with delivery.
