A few days ago, I messaged projectHustle (USDank's new account) that I had lost nearly 7k through a BB order, and if needed, I would be able to submit "proof" that I had lost that amount since I had messaged another big vendor right after I learned of the exit scamming to explain my situation to him so we could potentially work something out.
Anyway, he offered to send me a "4 strain LB" to make things right and get the ball rolling again. I've kept up on this subreddit and have read others' refunds from him. I have not received $1000 in BTC immediately, nor was I put on a plan to slowly receive back the whole amount like other users have reported. I'm only receiving 1/3 of my original order.
Of course, I'm not complaining. Hell, I wasn't expecting anything considering his whole no refunds on BB orders so 1 lb back is obviously better than nothing. All I'm saying is that my refund status has not been consistent with some other accounts on here. However, he has indeed offered me a slight refund.
He said he'd be able to send it after he reupped this [past] weekend. I might send it to a drop and observe it over the course of several days, or I might wait until Wednesday/reports of successful touchdowns to have the refund sent. I'll keep you guys updated.
EDIT: added [past]
For our newer friends here on /r/DNM this is called the rehabilitation phase of the exit scam.
USDank knows he's got way too many quirks going on to truly disappear and start over with a fresh, anonymous new account.
Since he knows he'll be found out quickly as projectHustle, he is now attempting to bribe/payoff some active posters by "refunding" 25ยข of the $1 he stole, and/or sending them some of his overstock.
Throw in a bunch of throw away accounts all claiming too good too be true refunds and projectHustle is well on his way to a few months of flawless vending, followed with the next exit scam.
<tl&dr> Just another comment on its way to being buried in down vote hell until it pops back up to the surface around 4/20/2016 (if he waits that long to pull the trigger). </tl&dr>
