cool way to improve plausible deniability?

if one is planning on ordering a DNM package (or at least my first time), there are two ways about it. First is to put your full first and last name on it

The other is to put a fake name

I did a quick google search and found a lot of people who were saying one should use a fake name. I mean intuitively that makes sense. "a package with the name "caroline" just showed up. My name is Brian. This is not my package"

I ended up digging through some random drug user forum and found a gentleman who linked to a free book online. It was a quote copied and pasted from a book written by a an ex-dea or govt agent of some sort. It explained that one of the huge tip-offs they had for a drug package was a fake name. Or a package that was ordered shortly after the box/address was opened. These were two HUGE red flags. I couldn't find the book again. But basically this book was written as an attempt for a cop to give an objective inside look to the mail sorting process and how to avoid getting fucked

Anyways, I sent my name and address to a vendor when he messaged me. I have been busy at my new job. They work me like a dog there. But I was sort of tired and accidentally put just my first name. I encrypted it. sent it in a post-work haze. I later looked at my note and realized it was just my first name

Why isn't this suggested more? Its not sketchy or attention grabbing like putting "bart simpson" as the package name. But its vague enough to be plausibly denied?

You Won't Believe These 9 Cool Ways I Improve My Plausible Deniability, Number 7 Will Blow Your Tits Clean Off!

The best policy is to use the name associated with the address. If it is your own address, use your own name. Plausible deniability doesn't have anything to do with what name is on the package. If its in your name or Ghadafi's name, it doesnt' really matter. You still have plausible deniability in BOTH cases and if you are caught, you still have the same problem - you are holding a pack of something illegal in your POSSESSION. Names won't matter. However, using a fake name (or a name not associated with an address), you are increasing your risks unnecessarily. A fake name stands out. It has a better chance of being looked at a second time, being RTS'ed, or the like.

It explained that one of the huge tip-offs they had for a drug package was a fake name.

Agree. I don't know how "huge" it is, but its a red flag certainly. Think about it too this way, if you walk off and OPEN a pack not in your name and LE is watching, you have a much bigger problem than if you opened a pack in your own name. Explain to LE why you opened a pack not addressed to you - to me sounds more like you were expecting it. At least with a pack in your own name, it makes logical sense to open it. A fake name has more chances that your mailman will look at the package more closely. It has more chance that it could be RTS'ed. Don't use a fake name.

Or a package that was ordered shortly after the box/address was opened.

Hmmm, I don't necessarily agree with this. PO boxes are meant for orders. If you were ordering normal shit, would you NOT use a PO Box you just opened? Of course you would. There is perhaps a parallel to this - when you open a new box, you should send something to it first and make sure you receive it! Two reasons - one is to make sure you are addressing it correctly. The second is that its unfortunately not unheard of that the PO fucks up and doesn't "activate" or open the box. In this case, mail is at risk of being RTS'ed. I've heard this happening before. So for any new PO Box, send at least a letter to it, better a package. Make sure you receive it.

put just my first name.

You'll be fine. Plausible deniability isn't reliant on the name on the package. Just using your first name does not buy you any protection. It only increases the chance of a problem.

All of this is quite simple. Let's say you are the subject of a CD. The name on the package isn't your problem. Its the fact you are in possession of an illegal substance. Doesn't matter whose name is on it, you are holding it. Now, once you are arrested/searched, plausible deniability comes into play. This is done during trial. And again, the name won't have much, if any, impact on your defense or your ability to defend yourself (via your lawyer of course). Its basic game theory - don't do things taht increase your chances of being hurt (caught) without any benefit. Fake names offer little to no benefit.

even if mail has your name on it you can still reject delivery. IF anything is to happen you would have to accept delivery of the package and physically open the package.

Packages with a fake name also have no protection or rights to privacy that are afforded to legimately addressed mail. They no longer need a warrent or your permission to open the pack if you used a bogus name. Many people think they come up with some new ingenious way to get a package, to make there plausible deniability better. They havent. In fact, its usually what gets them arrested. There is no special magic way to do this safer. As counter intuitive as it may seem, the safest way to get a package is to the legitimate name at the address receiving the package. Whether thats your name an your address or if your friend is getting it for youm his name at his address. TheEconomist1 basically already explained why. As long as you dont admit to knowing about the package or that it was coming and they cant prove you ordered it or knew it was coming, it could of been sent by anyone. People get caught when they think they are smarter then everyone else and try some new 'system" (borrowed from some idiot recently who made a post about trying out his 'system' he spent months preparring to make his plausible deniability 'better' and got arrested and packs from multiple vendors seized, yet he claims his system still worked perfectlly because he thinks he will get off, hahah. nope, yu should of never got arrested in the first place)
