Blotter protection

I'm not sure what else to call it; I'm having trouble finding it.

When I bought nbome blotters back in the day, they were wrapped in plastic for weather proofing and then that bundle protected inside of a sticker pocket... thing.

If you were to take two large stickers and then place them together so that the two sticky sides touched, and the blotters were between them, it'd form a protective barrier.

I don't know what to call these things, and I'm hoping there is an actual term for them (Such as "metallic heat sealer bags" are mylar bags). Any help, folks?

Not that I give a fuck about the preservation of such a shitty compound, but something about sticking a paper blotter on something sticky is very weird to me...wouldn't that take the compounds right off the blotter?
