Here is whats going on: I was out of country and I ordered the product online few days before coming back home. I am living in an apartment place that has assigned P/O boxes. No one is currently living with me, and I am sure of that no one has access to my P/O key. I have used Markets several times, and it has always arrived into my P/O box. (Especially powder related they usually put into an envelope)
I messaged the vendor for a tracking number, and found out that the package was arrived on the day I arrived back home from my vacation. It said on the USPS website "Your item was delivered at 9:39 am on July 30, 2014 in XXXXXXX, XXXX. Waiver of signature was exercised at time of delivery." No one is living in my house besides me, and I wasn't in U.S until the same day of afternoon.
So here is the question
Waiver of signature when there is no one in the house? The vendor guarantees no sign of waiver is required to receive the package. (no pink slip, we missed you sheet, nada)
It is possible, If the shipment have been dropped off in front of my door that someone can just take it. However, I live in a gated community that has assigned P/O box. Previous times I have ordered it always, always has arrived in my P/O box. When I came back and checked my P/O box immediately there was nothing but other junks(checked).
Priority mail is opt-in for signature. Your vendor would have had to go out of their way to have it.
There was a thread where someone else believed they might have been scammed by the vendor sending an empty envelope to a neighboring address.
Another possibility is that it was delivered to another address by mistake .
