LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- A 22-year-old Arkansas man is accused of using the United States Postal Service to receive high-grade marijuana from California.
According to the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office, Christian Olson spent $5,800 each week using the digital encrypted currency Bitcoin to have marijuana shipped via the USPS, with a return address of a vacant house in California.
Olson, deputies added, had a return of more than $16,000 per month. It is said to be unclear at this time how long this went on, as they have no way of tracking the purchases made through Bitcoin. The Cleburne County Sheriff's Office is working with USPS to determine how many packages may have been delivered.
Olson, of Heber Springs, was arrested on March 17 and is facing both state and federal charges. The investigation is ongoing.

I guess person used digital OPSEC properly. I still wonder how he get caught; I think either the package got profiled or piss-poor stealth technique.
Questions regarding this incident:
1) How did the LE/FBI knew the person was using Bitcoin? Either he didn't encrypt his laptop/PC or didn't use Tails OS (or maybe dind't have enough time to pull out the USB stick - doubtful tho.
2) Did his parents caught him doing it and informed the police? Maybe found evidence because of cash, or left his computer on without locking it?
3) Maybe LE/FBI was profiling his package?
4) Did the vendor use proper OPSEC for shipping logistic?
So many questions, so many variables at play. Is anyone on this? Got someone on the inside to find out why?
