How to truecrypt gpt/uefi?

Trying to crypt dual boot with gpt tables with truecypt 7.1a, but not supported, so any ideas how to go about it? Is uefi safe or what?

Also, I remember while back the truecrypt guys kind of went mia and then the new truecrypt came out and it was highly skeptical to what was going on with it because they had some crap referring to use shitty windows tools for security which was obvious bullshit..so last I recall truecrypt 7.1a was the safest one to use and anything newer is most lkely backdoored, correct? What ever happened with all that? Also, any ideas what to do with this uefi setrup?

ubuntu (and other popular distros) give you the option to fully encrypt your os when you're installing. you should give it a shot. there's not many trustworthy full disk encryption solutions for windows.

Why would you take any chances with TrueCrypt if the developers tell you not to use it and we still don't exactly know why?
