Darknet - I.T. Support

So I've been seeing more and more posts about technology and the use of anonymity in the Darknet subs. Most people just point users to the main service subs for Tails, Tor, etc. But I feel like a lot of people would prefer to use a community geared towards the Darknet use of these tools. I'm planning on creating a sub and hidden service strictly for supporting the technology behind all of the tools we use.

I would love some feedback and support.

EDIT: Created sub (get to subscribin')-> /r/DarkNetNerds/

I can vouch for this guy he has been nothing but helpful in trying to resolve my issues regarding TAILS and Electrum synchronization issues. Dude really knows his stuff and helped me solve one issue already we are currently working on another. I'd love to send you some Reddit gold but unfortunately not willing to Lin is card to this account for opsec. Maybe if you set up a Bitcoin tip jar I'll toss you some coins for all your help man it's really appreciated and you have no obligation whatsoever. Just wanna give back for all the knowledge you've shared with me.

Edit: also if you need a mod I'd be down. I'm not an IT guy but I can do rule enforcement for sure as well as give some basic tips on how to use Tails and all that but not as detailed as you. Hmu of you need a rule enforcement guy though I'm on Reddit all the time can even use an alt account if required :)

Edit 2: nvm just noticed I can give gold in Bitcoin :) once I get Electrum synchronized I will send you my leftover coin in reddit gold dude!

Just do it. But make sure there are people who really don't mind answering noob question and don't get annoyed.

And make a simple but thorough manual for troubleshooting. Maybe look at the questions that are asked most.

And good luck!

Great idea!!!! Keep me posted or if you need someone on the team.

[3 Points] AnythingYouNeed-_-:

yes please do this very much needed

Cool idea. I'm a web developer who has recently gotten interested in the tech stack associated with Tor. I've never actually used a DNM, but just love programming. I'd be willing to help. I've set up a few hidden services for learning purposes. It's fun stuff. And arguably easier than setting up a clear net server for public use.

[3 Points] The_1_In_21-1:

Sounds like a great idea. I've got a background in security and forensics and would be interested in assisting.

Keep me updated

And speaking of tools... something really cool is on the way, specially designed to be used only with Tor. In fact it won't even work on clear net. 100% de-centralised and multi-platform. We will need Alpha/Beta testers soon :)

I'm in Law Enforcement and this is not going to happen without our involvement

[2 Points] SirBandolero:

Do it, I would love to join in your forum.

[1 Points] ThisIsSpooky:

Lots of experience and I understand the technology behind the software we use. If you need a mod let me know.

[1 Points] JeffSessions_Vendor:

Love this. And would also be glad to assist. I have a background in IT as well.

[1 Points] janobi-boris:

Definitely a great idea! I dont use tails personally, more because I am pretty shit with linux, but I do have other IT skills (Network/server/stroage/security).

Would love a place to learn the darker side of things.

[1 Points] ice_cream4breakfast:

Please do it

[1 Points] odaydream:

wish i knew more about IT to actually apply to how darknet markets are programmed / created and how tails and tor work and everything. wish i knew more

[1 Points] a_roybot:

Yes! Do it!

[1 Points] W33DMAN74:

This is a great idea! It'd give ppl like me with only basic knowledge and no background in IT a place to study and learn the in and out of those programs and tools without having to attend classes or spend hours searching for guides online in which we "average" people can use and understand.

[1 Points] hardtobeatDNM:

That sounds like a great idea!

[1 Points] TheFuschiaIsNow:

This is a very cool idea. I'd be glad to help as I'm in the IT sector, but also would love to learn more myself and teach others. I'm extremely patient too.

[1 Points] Super_Shards_DNM:

I've been wanting to learn more computer OPSEC, this sub would be great!

[1 Points] LSDformindcontrol:

I'd be willing to contribute some help. I'm an official "techie" with a lifetime of experience in IT, electronics, etc. As far as DNM goes, I've been RPG'ing successfully for a few months now and feel confident I've mastered the necessary skills. I try to help here a bit whenever I can but I don't think it's very well suited for the task, and a dedicated support system would be much more effective.

[1 Points] None:

Would totally appreciate that

How do I differentiate the legit tor nodes from the fleet the feds own?

[1 Points] Domestick:

I think it's brilliant and I'd love to be a part of it. I'm all for it and you have my support. :)

I've taught severay people how to maintain anonymity while safely (as possible) accessing both the clear and dark webs and utilizing hidden services, etc. I am somewhat obsessed with OpSec.

[1 Points] Caleb323:

Doooooo it

[1 Points] throw-away-for-goats:

Word. I'm just about ready to take my CCNA. I doubt I could help much but it would be cool to learn more.

[1 Points] JridesBoards:

We need new creative methods in general to thwart LE. Hard truth, we are predictable. I feel we need to act quickly or our nonchalance will destroy us. we all need to switch up our opsec as a community stop treating this shit like its gospel. they are the fuck onto us. Their big bust they're frothing from their rabid little mouths isnt too far if we dont treat this like it is. they are spending fortunes over the globe to stop us while we shitpost about dumb shit and hardly think how they are always looking for ways they can find loopholes in our opsec. they're gonna take this whole shit down and we're going to deserve it!

[1 Points] BayLapse:

Definitely do it
