Well, as much as i'll miss SR2.0/SR, seems like we have the unsafe markets weeded out.

SR 2.0 should have been on guard. I mean witht he fall of SR 1, Defcon should have known that the feds would be all over it. It is sad really, but at least we know who we can at least, semi, trust. Agora, is probably the only centralized marketplace i'll ever use, and must admit, that when I heard of this recent "operation" I 100% expected to be scrolling down the list and see Agora there. I am quite happy with not discovering this, and find that Agora has proven itself probably the only viable centralized marketplace, for now anyway. Time will continue to tell if Agora starts to go shady, or picks up where SR left off (except...less...unsafe and shady).

I hope that any future startups have learned off the misfortunes of the fallen markets. We should all push to get the fine details of the operation and how they did it, publiclicy released. We deserve to know...

Hello Everyone,

What everyone needs are marketplaces to actually care about the right things, not just have the BTC rain down.

Community focused and Community involvement

Set Standards for Vendors and make sure they are implimented

Vendor involvement and appreciation

Buyer involvement and appreciation

Support that is supportive and visible

Our Cannabis Only Community at Panacea hope that the Agora and Evo Teams stay strong during this time, and that they and the other markets out there and those still to come, make the best decisions possible in keeping their communities safe.

I personally am not at all convinced either is safe at this point. For all we know they couldve left the 2 sites up to funnel buyers and sellers into a more centralized area. Now there arent so many sites to monitor. I personally think there are other reasons those 2 sites are still up besides being ran well. Only time will tell i guess. Just be careful and cautious fellow dark net marketers. Peace

I personally am convinced that Agora is a pretty strong market. Does anyone even know the screen name of the owner?

My theory is that someone from within, a la edward snowden, is going rogue against our government oppressive ways. What if the Agora admin actually worked for the Feds. Maybe thats why they have maintained site security so well. They know where to hide from there coworkers. I hope anonymous or someother cool hacker group has infiltrated LE like they do our organizations.

YOu could bob and weave while watching your co workers taking down your competitors. Sounds like a win, win.
