Sorry for throwaway. Two mods OK this post from my main account so they know who I am.
I have about 200 usps tracking labels and I can get a lot more in a month. I know vendors in the USA say it's hard to get more than a few at a time; and ordering online people speculate they may trace to the person who ordered. I don't vend but if I can make a few dollars it would be worth it.
Someone I knew died, and the person cleaning out the houseand offered me a bag of labels since I sell on Ebay. I took a pack of 200 and she told me to just ask if I wanted more. They're been in a ziplock bag and I haven't touched them.
I see people ask for them all the time, but I am wondering if it's worth making a vendor account to sell them? Especially if I get more. I don't want to give them away, but I don't know if the value of 200 is worth setting up an account. What do vendors pay for those? How do they even manage to get them sent to them? Is it worth setting up a vendor account somewhere with a free bond, or asking a vendor I know and mutually trust if they'd list them. Then post ad here on Sunday?
Any suggestions I would be happy to hear.
Edit - thanks all. I really am not LE, and all the concerns expressed were my beliefs. I appreciate the input. I'm in a tight financial situation right now where even $10-20 counts so I figured I would try.
I will check on the eBay forums to see if anyone wants them. (Free) My post office will give out 10 at a time and I sell maybe that many things a month. I'm sure a power seller would take them and no legal issues.
Thanks all.
This looks like the prefect opportunity for LE to track a large number of packages.
