Normal vendor behavior? Or scam attempt..

Hello, I have an order I've been waiting for from a vendor for about 3.5 weeks. The vendor has been generally unresponsive in messages however they did send one message 1 week ago saying : "Hey, please do me a favor and send me your private key for this muti-sig escrow transaction so I can release the funds. I accidently deleted mine :-("

This sounds like a scam attempt right? It's a multi-sig transaction and the vendor will use my and his private key to release to himself. Correct me if I'm interpreting this wrong...

SCAM! Never give away anything that is labled with "private". But I guess you already figured. Dont reply. Contact the market, open a dispute, tell them what you did not recive anything and ask for a refund. Also show them the messages with his request. This should get him banned if the market is worth something. Because this request is an big no no and the vendor knows that.

Can you tell which market and which vendor? Maybe even in a PM if you dont feel comfortable posting in public.

Yeah. This doesn't sound right to me either. Who was the vendor or the market this transaction occurred?
