Signing for a package?

I read something earlier that had a lot of info on how control deliveries work and suspicious tracking of packages that can be indicative of a CD. All of my purchases have been small enough to fit in the mailbox, but if I get a package that cannot fit, will it always have to be signed? Also is signing a package even claiming guilt? I feel like I would sign for any package that was brought to my door just out of curiosity of what is in it. Someone could be sending me a gift that I was unaware of, right? Wouldnt plausable deniability still be in affect? I didnt know that there was drugs in there! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone know about international packages? I thought all of them needed a signature

You are right. Signing is not an admission of guilt. Signing is a component to get you in possession. This doesn't have to happen via a signature. It just makes it easier I suppose so LE doesn't have to sit around until you collect your mail. It's about possession. If they execute a cd the signing component won't mean anything in a trial. Like you noted it's not an affirmation of guilt or even knowledge of the pack.

More than likely a signature is benign and not a cd. Refusing a pack will lead to a situation where LE will be involved for sure. If it's a cd a lack of signature won't deter LE. If they want it they want it.

No.

But not signing for shit has little to do with cds. I mean, yeah, theyll make you sign for a CD, but its shaky retarded legal grounds. Normal people sign for shit that gets misdelivered.... But, the reasons to need a signature, that are more likely, are, everything else..... And if you dont sign it, it will end up in the hands of cops, with your address on it.... Think about that........

Also, even if there is a cd, signing for it is not an instant conviction.... It does not mean you know whats in the pack. You know what means you know whats in the pack? Telling the cops you know whats in the pack.

Clean your house when you're expecting packs, have no drugs in the house when youre expecting packs, be sober and coherent for a few days when expecting packs and shut your fucking mouth if the cops come knocking.

They'll have a tough time in court, and likely wont even charge you, if the house is clean and they dont have evidence of anything...

I had to sign for a small package that wasn't a CD. It's just the type of shipping. It was tracked International. I'd rather risk signing, it comes faster and you know it will show up. No tracking International can take weeks and you never know if it's lost.

That's just me though, I have 8 Felonies so I'm not too paranoid like most people are on here.

If it doesn't fit, you'll need to go pick it up from your local post office or however it works where you are, If you signed for it, you're admitting ownership, the risk of a package actually getting scrutinized signed for or not is super slim though. Plausible deniability hasn't worked for anyone, ever, I haven't heard of a single person that's gotten away with "it's not mine, I don't know where it came from" excuse when they've received delivery of it.
