Is this a bad route of using Monero?

Would it be bad to use Monero just to buy clean coins for use on markets?

For instance, buying Coinbase --> BTC to Monero (Shapeshift) --> Monero to BTC (Shapeshift or another service)

And then just using like this?

Just trying to be as safe as possible.

Use xmr.to because they send clean BTC. Coinbase>shapeshift>your xmr wallet>xmr.to=clean BTC with no association to you.

Do that but send from the original monero wallet to another monero wallet before going back to bitcoin

Curious why you're not just sticking with Monero after the coinbase to monero change.

after you switched monero to btc, tumble the btc and you are safe
