Poor OPSEC?

Made an order earlier and the vendor has shipped it as a signed for delivery, Is this generally considered a bad idea? It was the only postage option they offer.

Also they provided the tracking which when used gives me the address of the post office they posted it from, I would assume this to be bad OPSEC on the vendors part?

The fuck would even be the point of using the dark net with opsec that shitty?

I wouldn't order from that vendor again, especially if you value your freedom. Shit, even legal and shady RC vendors do better than that.

Sounds like a chinese chemical vendor...

Signing for a package isn't the worst thing that you could do. It is lazy of the vendor, but it doesn't necessarily place you at a higher risk. The tracking could easily be a concern, although some of the top vendors on the web have given me tracking before. The police can already easily track the office that something came from.

If you know you are supposed to sign for it (and you do), then you should be fine. It's being asked to sign for packages that you were not expecting to have to sign for <- that's sketchy.
