just another gripe about alphabay moderation

as a seller Im noticing most disputes are going automatically to the buyer without the seller or buyer being contacted, in fact based on no info at all. Im not to worried because I sell mostly FE these days but seriously this is not a professional way to run a market place.

I have had to dispute 2 purchases and only needed to have a mod resolve 1 of them. In both cases the mod appeared to start a group chat with me and the seller. The first one was resolved as the goods eventually arrived (was an international sale so was understanding of the delay) and the other the seller only sent me half and would not respond to me or the mod so I won the dispute. Its not a large experience but it seems fair to me.

I personally would rather pay more then FE because I prefer the extra layer of security.

i've seen the text, and it says if the buyer doesn't reply, the money goes to the vendor, and if the vendor doesn't reply, the money goes to the buyer.

lesson: reply to your messages

imo this is perfectly fair, and if you think it's unfair it's probably more unfair on the buyer, as they're less likely to be logging in every day. I actually thought AB escrow was biased in favor of vendors.

There are a lot of non-FE (and FE) scammers on AB, and it's nice to see the mods working with escrow and actually doing something about them.

Ive literally never had that happen.
