After 15 years living as a slave to the opiates I've finally got my dose tapered low enough that I might be starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel. I've got a handful of suboxone strips on the way that I'm going to use to jump off so I can get my dose to a stable, concrete number. I'm not going to stay on the subs long because I've worked hard to get my dose this low -- I'd like to do a relatively quick taper and I'm expecting there to be some discomfort when I stop taking the subs.
SO, I've been thinking about how nice it would be to put together a "quit kit" of things to help get through the withdrawal. So far, I'm thinking a few benzos to get through the first couple intense sleepless nights, clonidine for more general use, and possibly some baclofen.
What else should I be looking to include? Is there a particular vendor with whom I'd likely be able to source everything in one order?
If an enterprising vendor were to put together a pre-made kit and sell it, would there be other opiate addicts out there who would be interested in buying one? Even if you're not planning to go clean, it would make a great contingency for dry times.
Just a thought.
In addition to benzos, clonidine, and ambien, I would include Kratom and even some Lopermide in the kit.
