How to: Become a Vendor

Title says it all. My questions are:

1) What kind of identity defenses should you take besides the regular VPN, Tor, PGP encryption, etc. I'm assuming there is a ton more that's needed.

2) How does one secure a shipping method? You can't ship under your own name.

3) Is domestic shipping always safer than international?

4) What other safety methods does one need to take to protect themselves from LE?

Look brother....I usually roast post like this, but i am going to be nice here & give you honest advice. If you here asking this question, you are in no way ready to be a vendor. Don't!!!!!

First and most importantly, go down to your local sheriff's department and ask for a vendor permit application (form 120.4c if memory serves me right). Then after its approved, ask for a booklet of tax stamps so they won't try to get you for tax evasion if you ever run into trouble.

It's best to put a copy of your permit affixed to your door incase there is some confusion and they think your vending without a permit. This might save both you and the swat team from any awkward confusions and save you money on having to constantly replace your front door.

You may still need to file a 1090 at the end of the year for tax purposes. But haven't in years and nothings came up.

Hope that helps! GL!

Aslo, if you your going to manufacture then you'll need a whole different form and label for your door like this

2) How does one secure a shipping method? You can't ship under your own name. - You dont have to.

3) Is domestic shipping always safer than international? - No, not for the vendor atleast.

There is a write-up around somewhere that enumerates all the things you should "check off" before you start vending. Seems like you have a good idea of how to handle the OPSEC in terms of Tor (and now you know about TAILS (there's also WHONIX, btw).

So basically what you need now is:

  1. packaging that differs randomly and greatly
  2. multiple sources of producing labels / postage – beware dotmatrix label printers that store info
  3. a clean room environment for packaging your wares prior to shipment – keep in mind that you cannot leave one shred of your DNA in the packaging—from skin cells to a tiny eye lash. As such, dress like Walt and Jesse Pinkman and keep your product and your DNA completely separated.

So the first two items have to do with package profiling, and the last one is all about DNA. This is how LE will try to take you down should you ever be so unfortunate to come under their scope. Good luck, and research more.

against popular belief, international is safer. Once the pack crosses the border, it can't jump back to bite you in the ass. You can stick a bunch of stamps straight on a ziplock full of coke, you're protected brother!
