It's to prevent any returns. No big deal if you got it and not arrested by now you're Fine. They won't wait hours they'll bust immediately.

Technically a return address is optional.
Before I was a dark net vendor I sent a few packs out without any return address at all. Like, normal shit, to friends for holidays. it was cheap crap that it didn't matter if it got lost in the mail so it wasnt worth writing my address 10 times

Sounds like you still got it fine, that's good at least. I would just let the vendor know and think about finding a new one.

If there's no sender then that's suspicious as fuck and he might start catching eye.
sounds like a mistake that would disallow the package to be returned. overall not a big deal, but not a mistake you want to make, because undeliverable packages like that have a gretaer chance at being opened.
