Vendor sent wrong product - Opinions wanted

Hey Every week i buy a certain amount of weed for my BF and I to use for pain relief. Its always an Indica (apart from 1g i get per month of a Sativa). My Bf cannot smoke Sativas as they give him crippling anxiety and dont work well for his pain.

Anyway, i placed an escrow order with a vendor for my BFs favourite pure Indica. Unfortunately when it arrived earlier, it not only isnt my BFs favourite strain, it also isn't an indica. After sharing a joint, it flared my bf's anxiety and we've found its no help for pain and we don't have money to buy more.

Just wanting opinions on what we should do? Would it be unreasonable to dispute the order and ask for some sort of refund?

We can both easily tell the difference between Indicas and Sativas. Is it as easy for other? Just concerned the vendor might be like UK street dealers and not know.

At the end of the day we don't know what to do since we didn't receive what we ordered.

Strains and plants themselves vary wildly between eachother. Also just because it's an indica doesn't mean it won't start up anxiety, high-THC will do that.

People that claim they can tell the strain by looks are some of the most annoying weed smokers and tbh you sound like a pain to deal with.

I disagree with the others saying that the vendor should provide anything, as far as he knows unless he really does admit to sending the wrong thing he has an Indica.

Would it be unreasonable to dispute the order and ask for some sort of refund?

Yes 100%. You should finalize the order and just not go back.

Sell that to a friend and you'll have money.

It can't hurt to send the vendor this explanation and see if you can get a reship or a discount on another order. Don't be surprised if you get turned down as it pretty much impossible to tell if you actually got the right strain. I wouldn't dispute it though as you did receive the product, worst case scenario you don't get anything extra and you can just try another vendor. Maybe if you order next time put a note with your address that it's really important you get an indica, good luck.

don't dispute. Somtimes mix-ups happen, and weed is weed. i would note it in feedback that there was a mix-up, or at the least send him a message stating so. I'm pretty sure most people know what sativa is it's just hard sometimes to tell what strains are what. I like indica, I don't prefer tangerine, I received an ounce of tangerine and ti was sticky, smelly, and not at all an indica in terms of high. I didn't get angry, just smoked out my friends and they said it was the best sativa they ever had. go figure. so yeah, don't write a negative, his is a grey arrea

Message the vendor. Tell them that you think you received the wrong type of weed, maybe even include a picture, and hopefully if the vendor is nice he would send you the correct strain.

There are very few strains nowadays that are 100% Indica or Sativa, most are a mix of both due to cross breeding. Even when buying named strains you may not get what you want, lots of disreputable seedbanks rename their stock with the latest best selling names just to sell more at inflated prices. Having said all that, have you messaged the vendor? most decent vendors will do their best to help medical users :)

You sound like a painful "client"... No, there is no way you are able to tell if it is indica/sat. Both forms are able to get one extremely "high" due to the THC. Both versions are capable of producing "anxiety" type feelings. Your BF so you say is experiencing the placebo effect. BOTH ARE FINE TO SMOKE. STOP BEING SKETCHED OUT. Also, you dabble in the field of xanax. If he is so concerned, pop a bar (tard) and then smoke... OR better yet, lay off of all the retard drugs and stick to marijuana = problem solved? = profit ???

good vendors cover mistakes (a.t. caliber folk). i got 2 zips of sugar leaf once, they still shipped me another pack.
