I just exchanged my first coins from Helix to Evo and in the confirmation letter from Grams, it states "Below is a list of the transaction hashes. Copy them for you records. This message has already been deleted out of the system for security."
If it deletes the message automatically for security, why would I want to keep it? The funds transferred properly. Is this really necessary? If it is recommended, what is the best way to keep these records safe? Is KeePassX acceptable?
You don't need to keep them unless you want a record of your BTC transactions. It's up to you, really. Bad OPSEC to keep them I'd think.
