Car Traps

We all have a hiding place in our car, some people have professional ones.

You can find all sorts of examples by googling car trap or similar but it begs the question, where can I get one? Obviously a shady mechanic or possibly custom car stereo installer place but I used to know a cop that owned one of those places so wtf? How do you even go about asking? You're screwing yourself if you go to the wrong one in the beginning and I don't think it's something the laymen can do on their own.

I know it's not just for cartel member cause the articles you can find on google have random drug dealers with them.

I imagine some of the more ingenius vendors have a vehicle with one in it.

Be careful, theyre trying to make it illegal to even have one, even if its empty.

Its a kickass idea. I think I could make one, personally.

On most cars the lower back seat is pretty easy to remove and replace, it just kind of clips in with spring pressure from the spring that supports the seat....its tough to do the first couple of times.... your regular old traffic cop isnt going to take it out, and ive had the full anal probe car search done by US customs & border patrol at the mexican border and they didnt take any seats out of my car....... they did check my door panels for traps, so i would NEVER do that one.

you could remove a tiny amount of the foam from the bottom of the bottom of the seat and no one would ever notice the difference and you could fit quite a lot of stuff in there.......

just make sure everything sounds normal if you tap it with a flashlight cause thats what the feds do.

Depending on how much you're trying to hide, in my old car I used to be able to pull out the interior light (the one of the roof between the driver and passenger) and pop a fair few bags of stuff up there as well as cash. I'm yet to try it on my new car, but sure it'd be easy to do on most and never had my car searched so not sure if it's a place that'd be checked

How GOOD s your shady mechanic. I would only do turn to on (not start) step on gas 1 time (to many would flood the engine), breaks 3x, windshild on low, breaks againthen highbeams to open the hidden box... but thats just something like I would want.
