Safety of Cannabis trade? (USA)

Do you guys actually believe that the government/police are worried about catching people trading weed over the internet? Look at the facts, tons of people do it (and use it), It's becoming legal for recreational use, and it is probably the drug with the least value per gram. I've read about bust on this sub on people selling or buying heroin, crack, and other, harder drugs but never weed. What do you guys think? Do they turn a blind eye to weed? PS: I am mainly talking about US-US or domestic shipping.

Seeing as I got a felony for it hanging over my head. yes. they care.

[12 Points] None:

The feds still have a major hard-on for weed, and it will remain that way until we get legalization on a national level.

Don't kid yourself. Weed is federally illegal and transporting it across state lines is a federal crime. They will nail your ass as hard as any other drug.

tl;dr- our government has a hard on

The DEA and the government still has a hard on for putting people in jail for marijuana. Their ruling on not rescheduling was terrible news and showed how ignorant they are.

schedule 1 = screwed

maybe one day they'll look the other way, but I wouldn't hold my breath

In my opinion, on the customer side it is safer than any other way of trading cannabis. Especially if you are just a personal user who doesn't sell, I don't see how they could ever find your pack of bud. The stealth is really good, and you don't have to drive it in your car/meet someone at a trap house/random bud house/local Walmart parking lot.

On the distributer side, I would say it's safer as well, at least initially getting it in your hands. Don't have to buy off of a big weight pusher who's prob trapping coke/Molly/ strapped with a gat. At the point of sale it's equal.

Not saying they wouldn't fuck you hard if they found a pack, but they would fuck you just as hard if you say got caught with a HP at a traffic stop. I would also guess that the probability of getting caught at a traffic stop is higher than a random mail inspection.

speaking from years and years of experience here:

if you keep a very tight circle and have 4-5 solid drops to use with IRL contacts instead of DNM vendors, domestic cannabis shipping is entirely possible and more effective for those living in more restrictive states to get good weed for cheaper than they could in their cities.

from what ive seen, people get caught from being told on - including myself. I have never had a cannabis pack intercepted by LE, however ONCE - from the Humboldt area - we had a pack that was opened by USPS and stolen, taped back up and delivered empty with empty vacuum bags inside... bastards took multiple LBs
