well, 1st of all you gotta be sure your phone is safe to use *don't use your phone for buying from the dark if you used it for personal purposes *clean out your phone from the apps you've downloaded from untrusted sources *always use a VPN that suit your phone need *don't use a 4G/3G for connecting to the internet *clean uprooted phone + public WiFi + VPN + orbit + orweb + AGP = you're fine to go

Orbot and Orweb users should NEVER download these apps from google play store or any other untrusted site. Use a tor browser/tails/whonix device and download these from the developer. Check hashes/checksums against the dev's key. Google in particular is part of the PRISM partnership. To get true transparency you will need a fully rooted device. If you intend to really use the apps to conduct questionable activities, be mindful that you can never escape tower triangulation. Some items of best opsec practice include: prepaid sim card and alias account; faraday bag (search it) and battery pull; Zero non-essential apps and services running and GPS location OFF. Bag and batt the phone until you arrive at a secure place to handle your business. Conduct it quickly, bag and batt the phone and return. Use a separate device to conduct calls or use Whatsapp or Whispersystems to critically message.
