How did most Evo vendors deal with their orders slightly before closing? I was pretty disappointed with SSB's response... (semi-review)

Title

So I placed an order with SuperSpeedBros on 3/15 w/FE (I'm pretty sure it was prior to the withdrawal lockout) and he marked it shipped on the 3/16. So I assume it's already shipped and it'll be there in a couple weeks.

Roughly 3 weeks later found him on nucleus to ask what's up. Gave him order details and whatnot (dates, old username, etc.). He said it would arrive in the month, So I waited it out till 4/18 before contacting again.

At which point he straight up told me he hadn't shipped anything from that weekend and that's that.

I mean I know he's covering his own ass but especially with customers who trusted him enough to FE this just seems like really shitty customer service.

I mean sure he would have had some losses but he's well established and I'm sure his margins are large enough that he could have made his losses up in a short time.

It's too bad because my first experience was really good and he does have very good product. This just kinda left a sour taste in my mouth.

EDIT: contacted by SSB and as mentioned in the comments they have agreed to reship which is all I really wanted anyway.

Hello,

I'm sorry for how things went with this order, I didn't know that you did deposit your trust on us and FE but anyway we weren't able to withdraw anything. We had almost 13 btc accumulated on the withdrawal queue on Monday the 16th (from FE's) that didn't ever go out from evo.

Well, we can now arrange to reship it, is that fine?

... shitty customer service.

I'm not too impressed with his customer service at all. I placed an order with him that was marked shipped three days after I placed it. When I finally received it the postmark showed my order as having shipped almost two weeks after he said that it shipped. Not cool. I'm not someone who gets uptight if I don't get my order right away but I do like to have a general idea of when they will arrive.

IIRC his profile stated that US orders arrive within 7 to 14 business days (or around that time frame). Yeah, right!

If he didn't sit on his orders for so long he probably wouldn't have suffered as much losses after Evo went tits up. His ripping you off is just another reason for me not to give him my return business. Sorry he did that to you.

Sorry to hear. That's bullshit. If you didn't FE I could sort of get a vendor not shipping under those circumstances. But if you FEd and he marked as shipped that's bullshit. He should not be using your funds to pay off escrow losses - robbing Peter to pay Paul sort of thing. If he didn't pull coin out in time that's on him.
