This is obvious for anti-money laundering purposes. If banks don't have it they soon will. I used to work for BofA and currently work for Chase. Showing ID isn't a big deal but if you make more than $10,000 in cash transactions in a day we are required to fill out a CTR (Currency Transaction Report) for the IRS. This is what you need to watch out for, assuming you do not have a legal way to justify your income.

Wells Fargo is your best bet, chase won't even let you make a cash deposit into another's account from my experience.
