reposted from r/DankNation

GreenLeafLabs has been my go - to vendor for a long time. I usually focus on the quality of their product, because they have been so excellent with customer service, speedy, reliable, you at minimum get exactly what you pay for never less, in my experience, so I try to keep these new.

Lemon Haze - Mid-Grade Quality (175/oz)

Product Overview: I want to point out that this GLL's commercial grade stuff. GLL has mostly been a boutique vendor with top notch unique products, usually have to buy by the oz. They recently added this mid-grade, at $175/oz but also added QP's at 660 all the way up to lbs for 25. So I had to try it, they don't do custom deals so I was always sending messages asking for a QP price with no luck. Since GLL's "High-Quality" "top shelf" have always been some of the best smoke I've had, I was wondering what to expect from his mids.

Appearance: This was no different than the higher grades as far as strain authenticity. The Lemon Skunk parent seems to have the strongest presence. The nugs are a little on the drier side as to be expected with mids, but a little squeeze on the buds you can tell how sticky, and sour this stuff is for mids.. I was really surprised. When you grind it you get a really skunky scent with a few other notes I really cant put my finger on, but i guess you can say it has a hazey component.

This stuff is really bright and healthy looking for mids, fiery-orange pistils engulfing the calyxs. Under 60x I can see my order is contaminant-free, with some extremely long trichomes. The trichome heads where on the mature side, mostly amber, which shows the harvest wasn't rushed. The trichome heads, were not as swollen as the higher grade product, but I found it to be interesting to look at.

The trim, is on par for a commercial product, probably machine trimmed, but a decent amount of sweet leaf removed, no fan leaves. I can see by the leaf that this is almost entirely sativa.

I recommend giving this a little trim for bag appeal, and this can sell for decent quality outdoor in a lot of places.

Smoke: Smokes pretty well, not the flavor of high grade, but definitely gives off that classic concert weed smell like no other. Great sativa strain for joints with friends.

I think this product is an above average for cost/quality ratio. I would say this far exceeds my expectations for "mid-grade"

Looks like it was pulled to young. That many long read hairs can be a dead giveaway for under mature bud.
