I know this has been answered many times, but my circumstances weren't mentioned: I installed TAILS using a USB on an old computer and it worked great for months, but when I plugged the USB into my new computer, the internet would not work no matter what I did. I purchased a USB adapter and played around with command prompt but never got it working.
I CAN still boot it fine, and I would honestly prefer to use TAILS by fixing it somehow, but I simply cannot connect to the internet while using TAILS. It says it's hard blocked, but I only have a little competence so I spent maybe twenty minutes playing with it to no avail.
If anyone would we willing to help me, I would love that. If there are alternatives that get the job done just as well, that's less preferred (because I might find out my internet is blocked with that too) but still okay.
Is running TAILS in a virtual box an alternative or does that remove the purpose?
