Meta data

If/when LE/OPSEC intercepts data, does this include deleted SMS? This brings into question as to whether or not meta data intercept databases are static or active in data preservation....

I think it's safe to say nothing sent, whether it be sms or email, can ever be truly considered deleted. Assume it's not. Also with sms there isnt even a concept of deletion afaik. Sms can be deleted from the device but it's not like email which are stored on a server until a delete request is received. But even in that case, a delete is more just removing it from your view of the data. It's never really deleted and I'd assume it's always accessible
