Shit if oasis made this much imagine how much alpha gonna have when they kick it

[23 Points] donttrustbbmc:

Does /u/Vendor_BBMC have anything to say? He endorsed Oasis and defends BitcoinFog. Both end up being scamming sites. With the coins moving dipshit has nothing to say?

[18 Points] ohwaitshit:

Haha they weren't fucking around when they said they operated off donations :p

"Total Received 43,796.99911731 BTC"

jesus christ

[9 Points] gymngenetics:

Could someone ELI5 what they're doing, and if there's any way to possibly catch them?

From my very basic understanding, they are simply sending their stolen BTC from wallet to wallet. Can we trace the final wallet they cashout from? Sorry if this sounds noobish.

[5 Points] Dr_Zhivago_:

How easy was he to find this info? This is why Bitcoin isn't as anonymous as you think it is. More like pseudonymous. The age old saying, just follow the money, you'll be identified/located. New wallets are needed often. Mixing or washing your coins to bring the trail of digital breadcrumbs to an end is worth a thought. If you know what you're doing you'll be fine. Here's an old article from 2013 worth a read. http://motherboard.vice.com/blog/bitcoin-isnt-the-criminal-safe-haven-people-think-it-is

Oasis was sketch from The start with there gay ass way of responding when will you guys stopped gettin fooled by these New an upcoming markers that seem so hip an kind . Go with the professional crooks like AB

[2 Points] xanax_xombie:

Holy shit that is a lot of bitcoins moving around, fucking bastards.

[2 Points] DrReeferDNM:

If/When Oasis cashes out, it goes to go to some big time exchanger who has loads of btc. So following coin can often lead you to huge wallets like this, but I'm fairy positive this is theres. I followed some coin, and it seems they always do it in 10 btc incriminates. Oasis wasn't new to the game, I'm sure they are professional scammers. Would not surprise me if they were a previous market such as Abraxas, mem, eic, blackbank etc. Rumors were they were oxygen and such too, and they will probably rebrand if they already aren't 2-3 other smaller markets waiting to pull the plug again once they feel the heist is worth it.

Here we go again...

[1 Points] HoldTheDoor_Hodor_:

Good work. But be careful, because 43,000 btc has gone through that wallet in the last month, and I don't think Oasis has made that much, or been stealing for a month

https://blockchain.info/charts/received-per-day?address=1LApZ4cAv5VsJzHS44V4A8wsvW7meBHg6H

Their own wallet is probably a step or two back from here, assuming you didn't make a mistake. That could be an exchange or something.

That address is part of THIS bitcoin wallet https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/00277410195fdd6d?from_address=1LApZ4cAv5VsJzHS44V4A8wsvW7meBHg6H which has been in use since March, and receives regular numbers of whole bitcoins. Its a very strange wallet.

Was this a wallet that you followed it through? https://blockchain.info/address/1Gvd3XKx5H9NBXWKZxevPRWyyZkT8UsTMH

I feel that may be /u/speedstepper or /u/friedthechicken 's own bitcoin wallet.

If you do a reverse taint analysis of the wallet you found (where the bitcoin is sent to BY the wallet) you see a short list of equal, low-taint addresses https://blockchain.info/taint/1LApZ4cAv5VsJzHS44V4A8wsvW7meBHg6H?reversed=true which makes me think that the address you found is the deposit address of some kind of tumbler. It has a hell of a lot of (normal) taint, and I bet loads of the wallets it's received bitcoin from were Oasis wallets. Did anybody here make a donation to Oasis? That would be a useful wallet to know.

Assuming you are correct, the thief blew it by sending 20 btc to BTCe https://www.walletexplorer.com/txid/431a30d90755d3abec206f4fc22b65be62d3bf56b545182c7d17dcd79daafba6

which Sheepmarket's owner found to his expense will cooperate with LE. But that wallet doesn't match the payment profile you would expect for Oasis.

i mean im no expert i just kept clicking

[1 Points] HollandsHerbs:

44000 Bitcoins?????

I thought Evolution made about 12 million or something?

Oasis was a very young market how can they have so much money in escrow?

[1 Points] ciphersexual:

Can anyone else who recently deposited to Oasis confirm that this is an Oasis wallet? It could just as likely be a vendor wallet.

[1 Points] jack19056:

How do you know for sure this is oasis, please reveal your tracking!

[1 Points] homelessWOOKIE9:

Did the people who used multi-sig get screwed here too? Or just the ones who FE or did One Time Payments?

Can someone explain this situation to me?

[1 Points] sapiophile:

This is almost definitely not Oasis's address. They were depositing hundreds of coins weeks before they even announced their market, here. Of course they could be from a previous exit scam, but I agree with BBMC and some others - I think you followed too far; this is probably just a tumbler or something.
