Xanax Administration

So, I'm experimenting with Xanax for my anxiety, (doctor won't prescribe them, can't blame him), and just want enough to lift my anxiety when I go out, not be barred or anything like that. For someone under 140lb, are 0.5mg doses too high? And also, can I take them as I please? For example, only when I go out, not taking them as a regimen.

Thanks for answering. I guess I have to make the obligatory "not a bartard" disclaimer, too.

take no more than 5 mg rectally, whole, every 8 hours on regimen. Hold in with butt plug if necessary. But in all honesty, I'm no doctor but I started taking a few different scheduled drugs for various psychiatric disorders and whatnot a few years ago. The way the doctors administered it I would say start with an even lower dose, say .25 mg if you can break the bar that small (I know a lot of vendors sell those overdosed ones so it's hard to eyeball) and see how it makes you feel then up it after a couple of days of feeling nothing if that's the case. You don't, to my knowledge, have to take them as regimen because nothing has to build up in your system for them to work and it would actually be more effective to not build a tolerance to them.

As a warning that it would probably say on your script bottle if you got them legit

NEVER TAKE WITH ALCOHOL OR MIX WITH OTHER DRUGS. Don't drive or operate heavy machinery while under the influence of this drug until you are familiar with how it affects you and even after that be very careful and I would advise against driving at all if possible

Just go the bartard route and start by jumping into the deep end and take 5 bars while around your parents

Try it out don't listen to anyone's advice about dosage. Start small. Get to where you want to get

Hard to say - I take it daily for anxiety and I'm told it's shit for long term use because of the half life and etc...but I'm 180lbs and I take 0.5mg daily and have been for a year and a half. Maybe I have a tolerance and it's doing shit for me who knows, but it's a comfortable dose.

Xanax/alp is stronger than most people expect. I'm just under 125lb and 1mg hit me pretty hard. I'd say start with .5 and work your way up if needed. Since you are using it to actually medicate anxiety, stepping up might not even be needed. As for frequency, the general rule I've heard is never take a dose more than twice in one day or on more than four days in one week. That's sort of arbitrary, but the idea is to not get into the habit of using it regularly, so that you retain your sensitivity to it and don't get either tolerant or addicted.

i would recommend a longer acting benzo like klonopin or valium. but if xanax is your only option, you should buy powder, and volumetrically dose it with everclear, and take like .25mg for a while and move up to accommodate for tolerance.

Probably not the advice you wanted to hear, but maybe don't start using xanax? It's incredibly addicting and if your doctor doesn't think you need it, then you probably don't. Try researching other methods to cope with your anxiety other than highly habit forming benzos.

Try etizolam not as addictive
