Dmt or Lsd

I'm torn between these 2 substances for my next order. I suffer from crippling social anxiety due to fear of blushing. I know some of you will say benzos, but I'm a recovering benzo addict. So that's definitely a no. I've been off effexor for almost a month now. All I take is propanolol, which does absolutely nothing. In the past, the lsd afterglow has helped somewhat with the anxiety. I've done dmt once, and I didn't breakthrough. I'm looking to gain some insight and find the source of what is causing this anxiety in me through a psychedlic experience. Which do you think would be of better help, lsd or dmt? Or if there is another substance you recommend?

the dmt experience probably won't lead to personal growth. it's very quick and whallops you on the head with its intensity. it is my favorite entheogen, but it doesn't really have the introspective headspace of LSD.

If it has to be psychedelics, in my opinion, shrooms. Personally when I take acid I can control the experience, if I don't want to face or think about an issue in my life I can just switch it off. Change the music, go outside, call someone. However, on shrooms it takes me wherever the hell it wants me to go. There's no way to avoid the things that have been pressing on my mind or causing me problems. This is why, to me, I can gain much more insight from shrooms than LSD. I also tend to feel more focused on the trip itself while on shrooms, and less on the outside world, allowing me to really sit down and think. I prefer LSD for recreation, but if you really just want to overcome an issue in your life and want to see it from a different perspective, I recommend good old magic mushrooms. It can be a beautiful, scary, introspective and fun experience that'll stick with you forever. But always remember set and setting. Never tried DMT so can't comment on it.

Maybe you should try microdosing LSD every once in a while, I know it worked for me!

Meditate on LSD (100-150ug, can start with 50-75ug if you want to start slow) or mushrooms (2-4 grams). Experiment with /r/microdosing

I also have bad social anxiety following a brain injury and take a beta blocker for hand tremors, so I kind of know where you're coming from.

Just be aware that, while LSD has helped me tremendously, it's still not magic and it won't necessarily tell you anything new. I was quite disappointed at first when psychedelics "failed" me in that regard, but since then I've learned that it's better to set into the experience without expectations of what the drug will do for you and instead just accept what happens. If you go into it confident that LSD/DMT will fix you in a particular way, it quite likely won't work exactly the way you expect and it can be a little depressing.

LSD has been the best tool for helping me deal with the aftermath of my TBI, but not at all in the way that I expected. I started taking it in a quest to return to my old self, and after much initial discomfort with the idea, it ended up helping me see that I can be happier simply by embracing who I am now and moving on. If you're dealing with mental issues, chances are good that what you imagine the solution to be is not what will actually serve you best. Confronting that idea can be scary but ultimately worth it.

DMT, make sure you break through. Don't be scared, the universe will reassure you of the beauty of existence pretty quickly. However if you get stuck in the waiting room, or break through the breakthrough, it can get ugly. IMO the other psychedelics are extremely unpleasant. Insight gained: never do mushrooms again

shrooms maybe good or try an ayauascha brew mix , dmt wont help, niether will lsd, but some shrooms i think would work maybe doing micro dosing ilike a couple grams a day, you will build a tolerance

edit, not that those substance wouldnt or couldnt but mushrooms i think would be better, and the dmt you could take with an maoi ask long as it wouldnt hurt your current medications

also if you have anxeity dont start with a large mushroom trip and venture out, start smaller and work up ,
