Should I be worried about Alphabay?

All the warning in the Superlist are worrying me, have many of you jumped ship from Alphabay, if so what have you found to be a good alternative dnm? Thanks

Never had problems with AB, good layout, good vendor/product selection etc.

I fucks with DHL.

If you are new to the dnms it seems it is easier to get scammed on AB, lots of seedy scum vendors. That said ive been using the markets for around 2 years now and havent had a single issue with AB. Just do your research on vendors and youll be good.

read the details to the warnings [click on them] and if you still feel that it is safe to use [evne with staff asking for private keys multiple times, the market leaking hundreds of thousands of private messages twice, . . .], go ahead.

Okay well the first 2 warnings have been there for quite a while. The other two I'm not sure.

Even if your private messages were leaked, just make sure you're not sending any personal info in plain text and you should be fine.

I don't know if the mods here have something against Alphabay or anything, I mean they(alphabay) do seem sketchy sometimes, but I think they are fine. They are the biggest and most used market.

If it makes you feel safer, maybe use Hansa where you don't have to send your money to the website and hold it there. You just send it to a specific address for each order.

DHL is also cool as someone mentioned, but I think there are a lot less vendor options.

Jeez, people have been posting these for a while now. The big, red letters are scary though, so it's ok.

/u/weed-noob you're FINE. I've been ordering from AB for as long as it's been around and I've never been scammed, never been asked for any account information, never had a pack not land, never had a CD or anything fishy go on at all, ever.

Of course you need to be careful, keep your OPSEC up and always send your address with the PGP box enabled key the vendor supplies, using a third party PGP encyption util (GPGP), but all in all, AB is safe if you're not a moron. Buy away!
