POSSIBLE package interception (PureFireMeds)... NEED ADVICE!!

Before I say anything - let me say this. I MAY just be over thinking this and everything may be a-okay. But that is why I am posting here, to get you guys' opinions on my situation. Because if this happens to turn for the worst, I need all the help and advice that I can get. Pretty much, I put in two orders last Tuesday on Pandora to BudCentral for an oz of his black cherry cheesecake (which was leafy - but still FIRE) and to PureFireMeds for an oz of LA Confidential and an oz of Golden Teacher mushrooms. Both orders were marked "In Transit" on Wednesday and I received my oz from BudCentral on Saturday. However, PureFireMeds' package has STILL yet to arrive after a full week. I know priority shipping takes 4 days TOPS so that is what is freaking me out. Especially since I always have gotten his packages faster than this in times of terrible weather and its been beautiful out recently. Just freaks me out because PFM doesn't use mylar bags -.- (my ONLY complaint with him) so I dont know if that ended up fucking me over in the end or what. Like I said, I KNOW I may be overreacting. But if you believe I am, please let me know that so I can calm down a little bit. I just want to know if anyone else has ever encountered shipping issues like this so I can get some advice. Thanks guys! :) entropy27

From an objective standpoint and as someone who browses this subreddit quite often, it is more than likely that he hasn't sent it out and lied about marking it in transit. There are many people reporting packages not showing up, probably because PureFireMeds is probably one of the biggest vendors right now not on SR. I imagine it would be very common for such a large operation to make some mistakes or lose track of information.

Thanks for the quick reply man! Just freaked me out when I got to my mail because I was 100% sure it would be here YESTERDAY... so when it wasn't here TODAY I instantly thought I'd been fucked. Didn't really consider PFM's giant ass customer base and all; he probably just got caught up. I also saw the day I ordered my items he was having trouble with processing.... so maybe it was that?

Either way I'm gonna be paranoid as fuck from here on out! haha

PFM is good for it. Relax man.

It doesn't sound like you've messaged him... I've had an issue in the past where I waited around and finally messaged him only to have it turn out that it was supposed to have arrived 5 days earlier... (turns out I just fucked up the address, I was pretty pissed). Either way, message him.

Mr Crappy's associate had a package seized. My advice is to keep a clean house and not order (of course) until this is resolved. Mr Crappy's associate recvd calls from a postal inspector about 2 weeks after the package went missing.

Same here. I ordered last Tuesday and haven't seen anything yet. PFM is probably way overbooked right now with SR2 and BMR shutting down. What are you freaking out about? The money? Or potential legal problems? If it is legal check your states law - its probably a misdemeanor with a small fine.

I empathize with the paranoid state you’re in—something similar happened to me with a domestic priority mail parcel that took about three weeks to arrive. Perhaps, you can glean something useful or comforting from my experience:

I placed an order from Hammertime on SR1 last summer; his orders usually arrived in five days or less, but this order took three weeks (via domestic priority mail)! Needless to say, I was freaking out, thinking my parcel was seized or that the vendor never sent it at all (it was an expensive order, so that was worrisome)—but they were always reliable, so I fixated on the former scenario being to blame. Hammertime wasn’t responding to messages; in fact, they hadn’t been online in several days.

I dutifully continued to check the mail, day after day, but I grew discouraged. Eventually, I opened the mailbox one day and saw a parcel, and I froze, heart beating quickly in both anticipation and in fear—what if the parcel had one of those tracking devices or if it actually contained one of those elusive domestic seizure letters? I looked around for potential surveillance, but it was after-hours and I saw no one. I cautiously examined the mailer it arrived in, and it appeared un-tampered with—however, I’d read that LE expertly disguises it so that the recipient would never know it had been opened at all.

Trembling, I got in my car, eyes darting to the rearview mirror every few seconds, looking for blue lights; at home, I tossed it aside, but I continued to stare at it—the druggy part of my brain overriding my logic, even though it was practically screaming “you have to wait to open it or you forfeit all plausible deniability, you fucking idiot!” I ignored the voice of reason, ripping the package open like a kid at Christmas.

I decided the only way to know for sure that my product hadn’t been switched out for an inert analogue, as is typical in controlled deliveries, was to test a small scoopful from my beautiful 8-ball, and I realized quickly as it hit my brain with a explosion of energy and euphoria, that it was definitely real crystal.

To this day though, after I read the Hammertime indictment, I wonder if my parcel was seized initially; perhaps, they let it through to keep Hammertime believing it was business as usual? I checked the tracking number that was listed on a sticker on the mailer after arrival, and nothing seemed strange—it was stuck/lost in a sorting facility for about two weeks of its lengthy time in transit, but I’ve read that LE can also alert USPS and have them disguise the activity and movements of a suspicious parcel.

Honestly, I think you’ll be fine. Sometimes priority mail takes a lot longer than USPS’s estimation—I’ve had non-illicit parcels arrive quite late as well. A priority mail parcels “estimated time of arrival” is not guaranteed, unlike an express mail parcel, so they do not have to refund the sender if it doesn’t arrive on schedule—I imagine this is why these delays tend to happen with priority mail.
