Why is Monero not frequently encouraged?

Title says it. The way I see it, Monero is precisely what DNM's need. So why are we not encouraging its use? For those of you who don't know, Monero is built in a way that ensures its users privacy and full anonymity. No one can find out which Monero wallet paid which and how much. Only the sender and the recipient are privileged to that information. It relies on very strong encryption (naturally, enforced at the foundation) - which is to say Monero is protected down to the detail, at the mathematical level of things. Why are we not encouraging the use of this cryptocurrency?

At the very least, Monero can be used to launder your bitcoins. Yeah. If you convert your BTC to Monero, then send them from one Monero wallet to another (and it truly is untraceable!), then convert them back to BTC... no one can trace them back to you. It's brilliant.

I'll always advocate for the use of Monero. I think it is one of the first few steps in preserving today's vastly changing DNM scene. Being able to easily and anonymously purchase XMR will be the first step in pushing it to the masses

People on this subreddit really are retarded. It's blowing my mind how many of you think advocating for monero is shilling... It's people saying things like that, that need to gtfo DNM's

Monero...the crypto currency with a sexy name.

As soon as chain analysis methods get better and better, there would be no choice but to accept Monero.

Keep an eye on arrests after AB takedown, if indeed it was taken down. If authorities traced transactions on the blockchain with real identities, beware.

I think Monero's time is yet to come along with decentralized marketplaces.
