A vendor I know of is having a February sale and I thought ahead and tried to get the coin sent last night so I could make sure to get it. I made the last transaction to the wallet a little after midnight and over 12 hours later (and a few tries at viaBTC) and it's still unconfirmed. I set the highest fees dynamic fees in Electrum sets it to. What the fuck.
So my question is, does Monero have this same issue? I wouldn't even mind waiting for BTC if it was a similar amount of time every time, but its soooo frustrating when you could be 30 minutes away from confirmation or 2 days away from confirmation and you have absolutely no way of knowing which it is.
Much faster, Monero uses a dynamic block size, so even if the network becomes congested the block size increases and will alleviate it shortly.
