Something is going on at AlphaBay

FINAL EDIT: Okay, so the Admin just answered me. Looks like they took my 0.32 out of a comission fee from an order of 2KG Dibutylone = 4250USD that i cancelled after "Shipped".

Now i ask you, What the actual fuck? The order wasn't even done, i just put it"Shipped" so he could FE. Where is it stated? I just have 2 more orders to cancel, that means i'm am in a big debit without even doing the deals.

Well, it's making now 450USD Alpha take from me from cancelled orders.

Congrats. I've never readed about that anywhere.

EDIT 1: My main issue is that a user finalized and i didn't received a single penny. It was just a sample order but imagine if it was 1-2KG as i normally do. 4250USD missing? The buyer would blame the hell out of me and my reputation would be gone.

BIG ISSUE HERE.

Hi, i'm a vendor.

First of all my funds disappeared (yes, i have 2-FA). Second, a buyer finalized his sale for 150USD around 0.32BTC and my wallet shows 0BTC right after he finalized, i was online the entire time.

Third, if you go on forums, there's millions of issues unresolved and deposits now showing, disputes not resolved for months.

What's going on AB?

PS: I love this market, just wanna know what's happening.

I'm not that active on dnm anymore but to be honest I always see posts of people's funds disappearing on Alphabay, and I have just stayed away as much as possible. I have no way to know if any of it is true or just people spreading FUD but I just feel like that market has always been bad news.

I'm sorry I have no info to help you but I hope you get your funds.

w/d works fine for me, I did get a phishing link in the support forum yesterday tho: I went to the site, it looked a little off with the sizes of the formatting and whatnot I entered U: FUCK P: YOU (CAPTCHA:) ASSHOLE and it acted like it was a legit login

Ok imagine this. Alphabay is becomes leader in market share, Gets huge influx of users unfamiliar with the interface and used to something else. Heavily targeted by fishing attacks. AB support have a policy of not replying to queries they can not solve or they believe should be sorted by other means (like reading the terms and conditions).

What might that look like? You'd have a tiny but very loud percentage of users who got fished or fucked up a deposit. And all of their support tickets will go unanswered forever.

Scenario 2. They randomly steal deposits out of pure greed. And it would have to "go to the top" unless some rouge staff member was able to steal deposits and then convince their boss that all the complaints were simply user error and not to worry about it.

Scenario 3 Site has been hacked in such away that the best way to maximise their take from the attack is to randomly steal deposits over a few months.

Scenario 4 A big chuck of the complainants are shills for other markets spreading fud, the remainder are idiots who got fished / fucked up deposit.

PS: I wouldn't trust the guys behind AB for a second and certainly don't love the site but this Theory or Random Deposit Stealing doesn't make any fucking sense.

Alphabay is definitely stealing peoples money and everyone assumes its just phishing, and alphabay pretends its just phishing.

Also, notice how alphabay is the only market actually employing shills on this subreddit.

I just had a deposit come through and placed an order with zero problems. I have placed quite a few on alphabay and never have had a problem. There is a ton of reports of some kind of fuckery going on over there but its one of the only places to get to my favorite vendor. I hope you get your coin and everything works out for you.

[1 Points] _SoulDark_:

If you go on Helpdesk at the forums you'll be surprised at the number of people telling their funds disappeared. Also there's a huge number of people whose disputes are going on for months.

I, personally, never had a single issue regarding funds or disputes.

My personal issue is,

  1. once i made a sale and my profit (100USD) disappeared, NVM the buyer was happy so was i. (never resolved)
  2. Someone purchased NM-2201 from me and finalized the order for 150USD = 0.32 BTC but my wallet clearly shows 0BTC, it never happened, the money just disappeared.

Now imagine the following, it was just a sample order, imagine if it was a bulk order like 2-3kg that i get normally, what if the 4250USD just disappeared?

What would i tell my customer? "You finalized but i didn't received, sorry"? He would curse me for the end of his life accusing me of scam.

I'll have to send this guy's sample without earning a single penny, but god bless it was just a sample.

THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM, FUNDS OF ORDERS DISAPPEARING.

[1 Points] JburnaDNM:

  1. I think they are to busy selling bitcoins to answer unresolved legitimate disputes.

  2. They are heavily targeted by phishers or actually stealing bitcoin.

  3. They are carders and They are still way to damn busy selling those bitcoin.

Here's what happened to me.

Made a deposit for an order, turned out i was missing a few $ so i've made another deposit (more than 30 minutes later), then after about 5 minutes bitcoin price went up and i place the order.

I've never received the second deposit (about $5) nobody stole it because there is still a few cents in my wallet.

The transaction shows 151 confirmations but was very slow to be confirmed - took ~11 hours even though it was marked as high priority and it had fees - default Electrum fee 0.0001 BTC /kB.

I've never had any such issues before.

Any ideas what happened to it?

Just happened to me today, deposited money in my AB wallet and all of a sudden I can't log in to my account. Do the password reset thing and discover my wallet has been drained.

I don't care if you think I'm a shill, and no I did not get phished (I am not a moron). It's the truth. Never again Alphabay.

[1 Points] Catastrophe12345:

IMO I don't think Alpha-Bay is in anyway deliberately scamming people. I think they have the most sophisticated bitcoin system in place that I have ever come across. Not only do they support multisig, but partial FE and an Autoshop. What exactly makes Alpha-bay's Escrow system so complex.

1.) The partial FE for products. Vendors can accept from 10-100% FE on orders. never seen this before. 2.) Vendors who do get FE approved have something like 1.5% taken out of every sale to be held for reimbursements and/or in the event they exit scam. Never seen this before. 3.) the Autoshop of CC. Never seen before. 4.) Sponsored listings with commissions paid out to Alpha-Bay after sales are made. Never seen before.

They're going to have bugs and glitches. Just contact them they'll right it for you.

Brand new account and then a post to go to the real deal market. It appears to be a RDM shill. It just appears that way but maybe it's not :)

Next to scam..
