No Colombian vendors? like why aren't they cashing in on this?!

1kg of cocaine in Colombia is about $2,000 USD (according to Vice and others). Yet they sell for at least $20,000 USD in the States and even more in other countries.

Someone go down there and buy me cocaine. Jk....but really.

If they could just mail it why do they keep finding boats, planes, subs, and your anus full of cocaine everyday?

People do ship cocaine regularly - customs busts packages frequently. Parcels originating in source countries are of course, highly scrutinized. There have been a few vendors claiming to be in South America, but they don't stick around long. It may have to do with the logistics associated with cryptocurrencies in these countries.

Side note; Peru surpassed Columbia as the number one Cocaine producer back in 2012.

$$$ bills > btc and the rest of the complications and shit. Colombia it's much easier to sell kilos in cash as its where the demand is plus a whole list of other things such as ease, cartels etc

I recall living in Colombia and whenever I had mail come in or out, there were holes poked in every single one of my letters (sent and received) in order to inspect them. Bigger packages would be inspected even more closely.

Bc their model is that they are a distributor or distributor/manufacturer. They don't want to sell it off gram by gram. They sell bulk to their American counterparts. Usually gangs or organized crime. It'd be like Johnson and Johnson selling to end users. Wouldn't make sense for their business model. So they sell to stores who then flip it and sell to the consumer.

The Colombians along with the Mexican cartels have their own logistics pipeline for getting drugs across that is seemingly largely successful. The money is made in getting the product across the border to the uS (or Europe), you are spot on. And that's what they are doing is taking advantage of that huge price disparity to do so. They've built up logistics framework over the past 3 or 4 decades. It works. I don't see the DNMs being useful for this particular product given its current form. Maybe if DNMs could turn into like a wholesalers type of thing, rather than a focus on the end user, it could be interesting to open up new buyers for the cartels or the entry point gangs to resell. Still the logistics is key here. The DNMs rely on USPS as the logistics framework. Not workable here.

What I'm trying to say is that the profit is in the logistics and shipping framework. A buyer in the us doesn't deserve the same profit margins until they come to the table with a logistics framework. The typical DNM buyer won't have that. So a buyer here doesn't deserve the low price found within Colombia. If an enterprising young lad went there to pick up keys on the cheap, he'll still be charging the US buyer the same inflated rate Bc he is taking on the risk of getting it to the Us and this deserves the profit.

Those are very interesting numbers Bc it tells us something. It tells us that it takes an additional 18K in price to cover the shipping portion. This would cover lost/seized goods, the cost of shipping (includes bribes, mule fees, cartel takes, etc) and some profit as well. Just shows the amount of pain it takes to get something illegal to the US. It multiples the price by 10!

Just as long as the fucking gulf cartel doesn't make a penny off me, I'm good. Fuck them and their fucking 12 year old thugs

Did you guys know that Stepan Chemical has a cocaine factory in new jersey? They apparently have the only license to legally import coca leaves. They sell coca cola a cocaine free coca extract for the secret formula. Cocaine free cause they already made cocaine with the cocaine leaves.
