[Complaint/Warning]Package seizure resulting in arrest. From Netherlands.

Been seeing a lot of requests for proof when it comes to NL packages being unsafe. I personally believe that the NL return address tipped customs off. I suppose if your packages are super stealth, you may be safe. I wouldn't risk it.

I was arrested on Class X and Class 1 Felonies. I'm white and had money for a good lawyer so I was able to plea down to a Class 4 felony with 2 years probation and 103 days served in jail. If it had been my first offense, I probably would have walked away with no felony record. Again, I'm white and paid for the best criminal lawyer in the state. Sat next to a black dude with the same charges who got sentenced to 3 years in state prison.

Never had any other packages (non-NL sourced) opened or held in customs.

Officer Fisher advised me that 100 pills did not meet the requirement for federal prosecution

That's interesting. So there's actual weight requirements before feds will attempt CDs? This helps explain some of the randomness - the feds will usually do large packages, but when they're small, it's up to the locals to see whether they care or not.

So they did a CD and you signed for it? Or they just bust in?

Well, reading that last paragraph should absolutely dispelled the myth that no one cares about smaller packages. Customs opens, spots the contraband (in this case 100 tablets) advises DHS who says it's too small for a federal case, but instead of just tossing it aside as most people here think is the case, they instead call the local police and ask if they're interested in following that up. I have to believe they'll do that with any quantity below their threshold. So, MAYBE the local police will say "oh, it's only 5 tablets? Or only 1 gram of coke? Throw it away" or they could pursue it themselves.

Can't wait to read what they naysayers say to this, except for the age. Which is irrelevant, except that back then DNM's weren't in the spotlight for LE like they are now.

Holy shit they're giving out Class X felonies for those? That's serious as hell in most states. Glad you had a decent lawyer but man that sucks.

Edit: What was the first offense? If you don't mind me asking.

Thanks for the proof. There was some good information to know in there.

Can you give details how the controlled delivery went down?

[3 Points] MrCrappy57:

The Department of Homeland Security. Remember how that agency was created right after 9/11 to keep us safe from terrorists? And now what is the majority of their 'business'? Drugs. It happens every time. Every time they come up with a new spy program or agency it's always to keep us safe. Then it's just drugs.

Tangential point here: those new license plate readers that some cop cars have? They are supposed to alert the officer if the tag is expired or stolen or if the owner has warrants. But they can also track your movements, find out basically everywhere you go in your car. Local LE has been quick to point out that they don't save this data. They give it to the Feds who use it for- you guessed it- drugs.

[3 Points] unknown734:

Did your police file include DHS form 6051S, custody receipt for seized property and evidence?

There ought to be a private club for those of us that have actually had a controlled delivery and all the drama and fuss that comes with and after it.

Thanks for the post/evidence. It is quite interesting to me. Another little bit of information about something I shouldn't care anymore about but probably always will because that experience is now part of me.

OP: thank you, thank you, thank you for providing proof. I'm very sorry you had to go through this. Most important fact: "100 pills did not meet the requirement for federal prosecution".

[1 Points] ShulginsCat:

Great to see some proof and hope OP's time went by quickly.

That's Sep. 2013 so .. Supertrips?

EDIT: The document is dated 2013 but the incident happened in 2011. My bad.

[1 Points] None:

this is 10-20g molly guys... 1/2 O+ of a schedule 1 drug that is not weed is well, bound to piss someone off, at 20$ a pill thats 2000$ of contraband. good pills would be like 200mg of mdma each.

how is this relevant to the recent NL problems if it happened 4 years ago? LOL

Can I comment that that photo could easily enough have been made on Word, and had fake info filled out? No insult to OP, but I think we need to base red off of reddit history. Or better yet start using onions
