Look up LibertyX and Paxful. LibertyX sells cards in stores that you can exchange on their website for btc, Paxful takes amazon gift card codes.

He looked at them

I use LibertyX a lot. The locations are sketchy at best and I can only do $200/day.

You can get an account on localbitcoins and find someone to buy from. Many reasonably-anonymous options are available (cash in person, cash by mail, gift cards, cash deposit).

It's expensive sometimes but I use local bitcoin. There's many forms of payments (cash via mail, gift cards, bank transfers/deposits, etc.) and tons of reliable sellers. I don't know how much of a difference it makes but I always buy coin at local Bitcoin then transfer my coin to an electrum wallet then transfer coin to market wallet. Haven't had any issues with them and have been using for roughly 7-8 months now.
I haven't used it myself but Paxful is another popular website.

There are a ton of sellers on localbitcoins.com. You can mail cash to quite a few of them. LocalBitcoins has escrow similar to the DNMs.
How did your Circle account got closed? I am curious.
