GoombaShop - Question on Vendor

Anyone order from this dude before? Just curious because I don't see too many recent reviews for those who buy in bulk. Always looking for new people that been in business that have a handle on what they are doing, instead of either (1) these new shady dudes trying to get started, (2) vendors that offer bulk, yet the majority of their transactions are for smaller amounts even offering items as low as 1g with tons of feedback reflecting transacitons around the quarter oz - ounce mark, and (3) vendors that been around a while yet you don't see too much happening or too many reviews other than the occasional, shady order for weight.

It just seems like Goomba's prices are too high for the quality, and the pictures are never flattering of the flowers themselves. Sure, the feedback is good and I hear what he says about escrow versus F.E. ( "F.E. stands for Future Exit" ) lol.... but I just don't know. For those that don't know (since many don't seem to actually know)... pounds should never be more than the 2300 mark for In-Door when you have growers prices, or one person between you and the grower. Outdoor or Greenhouse prices, Light-Dep included, shouldn't really be above the 1900$ mark.

Yet despite all the good feedback and comments, nobody seems to have anything to say about the quality or prices. $3200 for in-door Sour Diesel?? That ain't growers prices... that's the price i'd charge someone after having bought from someone in the market in the first place! If you offer weight like that and focus mainly on selling in bulk, those prices don't seem proper. Unless he's using a bad camera, the green always comes out super dull looking as though it's dry.

Normally I don't get into this kind of detail but I don't seem to see anyone else talking about this so i'm just trying to find some clarity here while at the same time, letting people know what they should be looking for and asking. If anyone is on the same page as me and has ordered from him before and can shed some light as to the quality or knows of any other vendors that are solid, by all means let me know or for security, drop me a line privately. I have a love/hate relationship with reddit in relation to DNM's, but at the end of the day this resource is here so might as well try to use it somehow.

PS - This is in no way putting Goomba down, he seems to be a straight shooter and has nothing but good feedback... I just know what im looking for and i'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on the quality of his shit and if there are any other vendors that are stable the really have top, top shelf INSTEAD of the LOW LOW END of the High grade flowers.

Hello, I am with the goombashop team. The prices you seam to be expecting are reasonable price if you go to the grower yourself and they are a friend. But lets be clear about the process involved in selling on DNM's. First of all, I alone could not possibly grow the kind of bulk we have demand for, our broker sources product from many different growers, sometimes we buy everything grown in a small comunity, we need a network of 2-4 dozen growers! Then the broker needs to get paid, then I have to pay my team because I could not possibly package and distribute orders to dozens of post offices myself without drawing attention. Also we have to pay for storage since we don't want all the eggs in 1 basket! Then, you aren't buying directly from me with cash, you are going through a market that takes a fee, and then I have to cash out your bitcoin for a fee. Those 2 fees add up to roughly 10%, payroll for my team works out to about 200/lb, then there is postage, and of course I need to get paid as well. Plus with our full reship policy, I need to be making enough so that if a large package gets lost in the system, we can replace it without taking too big of a loss.

So with the fee and payroll and postage, that adds around 400$ or more to the price and I keep none of that. If a friend approached me with cash in hand and asked for one of the lbs I sell for 2k on the markets, I could give it to them for 1500-1600 and make the same profit I make selling it for 2k on markets! Yes the price is higher, but think about the safety and convenience of having it land on your doorstep instead of driving to California and trying to find someone willing to work with you. and then having to drive it all the way home, just to turn around and make the drive again in a week when you run out!

Our indoor is probably priced too high, I probably paid too much for it myself. Our broker specialized in outdoor and greenhouse, indoor isn't something they deal with much. But I have reduced the price a little and I now make the same profit off a lb of indoor as I do off a lb of outdoor, before I was trying to balance my investment to my return.

And you are correct, we do not use the greatest camera and we are not professional photographers. But unlike some other vendors on these markets, we don't find a picture on the internet, we only use pictures of the actual product, and the pictures do not do the bud justice.
