there are hundreds of clearnet sites where people sell illegal drugs and weapons, the cops didn't talk shit about a "special internet created for pedophiles,druggies and terrorists".
to me it sounds like they saw some idiots dealing on FB or instagram and followed the leads or customs found a package and they made a controlled delivery.
alternative theory: some vendor was also dealing in RL and got caught. instead of ratting out people who know him in RL he ratted out his internet customers and gave LE access to his account.
