Drug's weight

What is the right way to weight the product - with package or without ? When ordering small amounts, and the plastic package is around 150mg , this can be significant

With a scale.

Without. If it's a hard to handle drug like 2c-b then use your tare option and then put the 2c-b in the container you're using that is already on the scale.

Without, especially if the drug has a steep dose response curve like 2C-B or Moxy.

I always weigh with a little metal "pan" or whatever, that comes with the scale. This is because I doubt my scale is accurate below 10mg. I read somewhere on some scale/weighing forum (nojoke) that it'll be more accurate if you weigh 50mg of the metal "pan" and 20mg of substance than just the substance.

Explaining this poorly I think, but I mean that it'll be more accurate saying 68 or 69 than 18 or 19 mg.

Can't you just weigh a new container (baggie, tupperware, whatever) then transport the product to the new container (assuming it won't leave a lot of residue behind that will affect the weight significantly) and subtract the new container weight from the total?
