Mail going missing: What to do?

Let me first be clear, this is not one of those meth fueled rants that find their way one this sub once a week without fail. So I'll explain the situation (it's obviously completely true, and just mildly worrying atm) and see what all these postal experts here have to say about this.

I moved into my current house (renting a room here) in Oct '15. Within the first month I ordered something off Amazon that was shipped through USPS. The tracking said my mail was delivered at the front door/porch, but I never received anything. I called Amazon about this. A complaint was filed with USPS and Amazon promptly redelivered. Nothing came off the complaint, but I didn't give it much thought. I'd order some other packs, and I received them all, but most (all?) were Amazon or UPS delivered.

Fast forward 4 months. It's Feb '16 now and some dude from /r/vaporents offers me to send his old vapourizer as long as I cover shipping. I get very excited but am pretty sure it's not gonna work out. To my surprise he ships within the week (from Canada) and I closely follow the tracking. Customs cleared in a couple days, and after a week, the tracking turns to 'Out for delivery'. The same evening it changes to 'Undelivered as addressed' though. I call the post office the as soon as I see this, but they can't help me as the mailmen have left. I just get my ass to the post office next morning, and talk to my mailman. He says 'Undelivered as addressed' occurs if the pack went on the wrong route by mistake and I should get in the mail in the same, or the next day.

I decide to grab it from the mailman's hands if possible, but I get delayed at work that day, and reach 45 minutes after the tracking changes to 'Delivered in/at mailbox'. Turns out, it's not in the mailbox. Housemate checked the mail, and she is positive there was no package for me in the box. I call the post office again. File complaints, talk to the supervisor, and anyone who could've helped me out, but the pack never turns up. Around the same time I also get an email from the bank saying they sent me new credit card 30 days ago, as my current card expires soon and I should activate the new one soon. Well, I never received a new credit card either. I mention all this to the post officials, but no one can help me out.

Anyway, I order another vape online, and it gets to me through USPS, no problems. Although by now I have a habit of grabbing any mail I'm supposed to receive as soon as it's delivered. If possible, I even collect regular mail from the mailman's hands (he knows me well now) as I no longer trust my housemates. There's a couple in the basement, and the lady always collects the mail (she keeps the keys to the box). They seem very friendly and nice, and I wouldn't expect someone like them to steal my mail, but of course, you never know.

Over the past two months, I made 3 orders on DNMs. Two for LSD, and one with Trip's liquid. Both the LSD shipments are untracked and I don't know the tracking number for Trip's liquid. However, everything gets to me as expected. I feel somewhat at ease about my mail going missing.

Coming to the past few weeks now. I order a pack of weed and the vendor ships it without tracking. Domestic of course, but a week goes by without jack shit turning up. I also have some MDMA and 2c-b coming in (in a letter I expect), but that's nowhere to be seen either. I now have and follow myUSPS, but even though the letter (with MDMA) is tracked it doesn't turn up there. That's nothing out of the ordinary though.

Soon, it's almost 10 days, and I'm somewhat paranoid now (ran out of weed, and anxiety is a strong withdrawal symptom in my case). I order another pack of weed with someone who does provide tracking. That is last Wednesday. I follow tracking closely and collect it as soon as it is delivered to my doorstep on Saturday. Doesn't seem like LE at least. I feel relived. This Monday, myUSPS (I now follow it, just for the fun of it) shows a tracked letter has been delivered. I get excited thinking my MDMA is here, but guess what? I get home pretty late and there's no fucking letters for me that day. I've asked the vendor to check with the tracking and he'll get back soon, but I'm pretty sure the letter was the one he sent and it's gone. Not sure if they'll reship. Hope they do, but don't expect it.

On Tuesday, the vendor who first shipped the weed without the tracking now reships with tracking. I follow it through myUSPS, and I just received it today. Even more relived now.

But what do you guys think? Could it be LE still? (I know, just the paranoia talking) I can't think of anyone but my housemates who might stealing my mail, but it doesn't make much sense why someone would do such a thing. It could be the mailman too, but that's even more unlikely imo. And regardless of what's happening here, what steps should I take to ensure all mail gets to me? I asked for the keys after the whole vapourizer fiasco, but they asked it back in a week, and I'm very weak socially. Asking for the keys every now and then makes me very uncomfortable. Also, I can't always wait home for the mailman to deliver (that has always resulted in me receiving the packages), cause I have work and college.

I don't think this is a big deal yet, but the thought, that packages filled with illicit substances, having my name on them, are somewhere I don't know makes me pretty uncomfortable. Look forward to reading what y'all have to say. Let's see if you guys ease my worry, or make it worse.

EDIT: Lol at the flair. :)

Your roomies are pilfering your shit. Stop giving them free shit.

You live with thiefs

My advice would be to invest in a P.O. box. The small charge will be worth it for your piece of mind. Also, the couple in the basement are thieving pieces of shit that hide behind a friendly facade. But, as they say, Karma's a bitch.

Set up a camera when you expect a delivery. This way you know who actually takes your shit...

Beat the bitch that has the keys until she confesses.

As everyone else said, someone is stealing your packs. If it was LE you would have noticed a love letter or some sort of clue in your surroundings. Also if you keep asking people about the mail, they are going to know something important is in it.

Go get a PO box.
