Allowing scripts on reddit through tor?

Anybody know if there is any malicious code running through reddit while having NoScript on TorBrowser disabled (specifically code that may reveal the IP I am currently using? Due to the UI of the website, having NS enabled causes issues posting, and it is easier to have it enabled.

I would use TAILS for these comms, however that is a pain in the ass.

Safe?

What do you all think?

I'm pretty sure Reddit would never use anything "malicious" as such and rather just record your IP address through PHP as standard, which will show up as the IP you appear to be using through Tor. There isn't anything substantial that can actually reveal your IP in any way through JS (your true IP address) a lot of the worry about running scripts stems from when Freedom Hosting was taken down and some sort of file was injected on to computers using JS but in the end it was just assumed that it had no affect on anyone that visited the "infected" seizure pages. There should be nothing to worry about using scripts on Reddit realistically but it is always much safer to keep them disabled at all times.

I almost brought this up yesterday. I cant run reddit through tor on my phone without it jacking up the scripting. I tried turning js on but it didnt seem to help.

If you want to use sites that require JS, you should only do so while booted off of an up-to-date Tails DVD. That is my strong advice. As to why, you can read my other comment in this thread.

I think any vendor who posts on reddit regularly is an idiot as I seriously doubt it's always on TAILS.
