First off, I just randomly thought of this I have no plans on pursuing this i just thought its a creative idea I guess just wanted to hear some input. this is only hypothetical it just kinda popped in my head was wondering what others thought of it. The basic idea is that someone who's a local dealer but feels it's very sketchy to do business via cellular phones or Facebook or etc. Would it be smart of them to create their own .onion site similar to a vendor site but no Bitcoin held on site. it would eliminate any incriminating evidence on their cellular device and would just be overall pretty cool in my opinion. For those who would actually care for me to elaborate on this idea, I'll explain further below.... ------------------------ So here's what I was thinking; if I were to do this the site would be hidden. It would appear as some seemingly innocent webpage; such as a simple informational webpage about something completely random. There would be a link at the bottom of the page saying "Help" or "Members Page" which would bring you to a plain login page with no "sign up" feature, only "login" (so if someone stumbles upon the site they cannot get access). I will create all accounts as admin due to the fact there would only be about 10-15 highly trustworthy people that I see on a daily basis. When you login to the page, it will then bring you to the good part of the site :) It will contain a full menu of what I have to offer at said time. They would directly message me (pgp encrypted) to alert me they want to make a purchase. We'd arrange a meeting and that would be it. I just feel like as long as everyone's running tails on an encrypted flash drive and using a VPN everything should be more than fine. no funds stored on site and no personal info held on site. If one of my dogs got nabbed and the cops decided to go through his phone and everything there would be nothing to find, leaving them at a dead end. I agree it seems like a lot of initial work but I also feel like it would greatly increase OPSEC. I'd like to hear any thoughts if anyone has any. feel free to hate
Oh yeah, go for it. People will be lining up for those secret meetings after the pgp message. Why not just hand out your phone number?
