Has anyone tried amazon return method with other companies? best buy, apple etc?

I figure as of this week amazon will be getting slammed like an underage prozzy at a UK Royal orgy in the bahamas complete with bill clinton ... so my question, has anyone considered or ordered anything from best buy, apple, etc and have them ship it? and then say you did not get the item? it must happen right?

edit: for anyone curious, here ya go, and the reason i even questioned this is bc best buy totally fucked me on a laptop recently, i have been waiting in the cold, damp, and lonely darkness biding my time to strike back at them .

People like you are the reason it's difficult to get refunds for broken or damaged merchandise.

Also, what the fuck does this have to go with DNMs?

Considering they do have a policy on this and aren't really considered as "big" as Amazon, I think it will be possible but it may be harder, especially since if it is sent via UPS, they will make sure to investigate thoroughly and you may end up charged with fraud if they don't believe you. I suppose you could simply not answer the door to the mail man and leave a note telling them to leave it at your door or something, they will mark it down as Delivered and hopefully will note down where it was left, that way you can claim it was stolen from outside your home and they won't necessarily have proof of the note you left. It's probably possible but a bit of a gamble, Amazon are that big to not care about a few orders just going missing, they'll reship all day and night just to keep their customers happy. I don't think I've ever heard anyone complain about Amazon.

Also, just a PSA: Do not try apple. They are total cunts and will go after you legally.
