Ordering for friends in other countries

Hello,

A friend overheard a disagreement in a bar the other night and became curious: are there repercussions for sending a friend in another country an illicit gift purchased from the deep web?

If someone in the UK buys something (MDMA, acid, etc...) from a Canadian vendor and sends it to an address in Canada, are there additional legal issues? Is this a bad idea? Is the buyer is outside the jurisdiction of the recipient's country? Does this fall under international drug trafficking laws?

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Atleast tell your friend you are doing it, not send it as surprice.

From a rational poing, and if he agrees, I dont see the problem. If it gets caught and he keep quite and there is no proof in his home/pc, the chances for going free is better then if was ordering it himself. One of the reason, is he would be more relaxed and trustworthy since he in reality didnt do it.

My experience is shipping to my hotel in another country, but I planned this through with the vendor before I did it blindly, and it went smooth.
