I greatly sympathize with Ross and his family. It is absurd for the state to be able to take someones life from them. Ross Ulbricht was a very intelligent and innovative guy, with passions that reached far past a side-project that happened to get big. Murderers get sentences 1/20th the length of Ross's, and in my opinion, Ross has saved many more lives through his market than the lives of the people he conspired to kill.

The FBI is a worse group of criminals than the DNM community ever will be. I hope someone feels strongly enough to arrange Force's murder in prison. Greedy pig deserves it.

Its going to be denied. When the feds decide to make an example out of you, there's no possible way out. Theres no justice.

Basically the system should be:

Produce a 100-page argument -> Judge is convinced by the argument

But instead its:

Judge is already convinced -> Asks prosecutor to produce a 100-page argument to justify (in front of society and media)

I could have written a better appeal in one sentence:

"$50 million worth of bitcoins to whoever breaks me out"
