I just read this article on deepdotweb saying that a solution has been found for direct currency exchange between different blockchains making third parties exchange needless. This makes me think that this could not only revolution the world of cryptocurrencies making it even more indipendent from third party services, but could also become a great solution for the current possibility of deanonimization for Bitcoin transactions rendering methods like tumbling or the use of third party exchange services completely useless for OpSec purposes. Let's say I buy some BTC, I instantly convert them on Monero, then i again exchange in BTC, the chain would be broken 2 times and i would be untraceable. Is my assumption correct? I'd like to stimulate a discussion on this since i believe it could be the future for our opsec.

I apologize if there are some errors I'm not a native english speaker
Spelled correctly it is tumbling but for whatever reason I think thumbling is pretty funny.
