My CD Experience

A postal inspector paid me a visit a few weeks ago accompanied by two local police officers. It wasn't an attempt to fool me into believing they were actual postal carriers. They were dressed in plain clothes with badges around their necks. The package in question was sent to a drop away from my place of residence, but strangely, they brought the pack to my home. The PO box at which it was received was in no way associated with my home address and had no other kinds of mail sent to it.

When confronted by the LEA, they told me that the package had been scanned by x-ray similar to how it is scanned by TSA at airports. When the postal inspector pulled out the consent form for permission to open the package, I declined to sign the form. At this point, the entire tone of the conversation changed. The other officers began to threaten me and attempt to scare me with the bad cop routine "You can either be a witness or a suspect. At this point, how you are acting, you are a suspect." "How many people do you think you've killed?" "You're facing federal drug charges, this isn't a joke." "I'm not a fucking idiot, and we know what the fuck you've been doing."

Once I heard this, a little smile broke out inside me as I breathed a sigh of relief knowing that they only use these tactics when THEY DON'T HAVE SHIT. From this point on, my replies to their incessant questions and threats was "Since now you're saying I'm a suspect, I will need to speak with my attorney before I answer any of your questions." They absolutely hated this, threw a few more threats and curses at me, then stepped back. At this point, they said they were going to get a search warrant for my home.

They waited outside for about 3 hours while they obtained the warrant. Durring this time, about 10-15 police cruisers started to slowly gather in front of my home. At one point, I briefly stepped outside. I was not allowed back inside until the search was over. Instead of sticking around to watch the search, I just left to avoid any further confrontation.

About an hour later, I received a call from the PI. He was informing me that they were terminating the search since they found no evidence of illegal activity in the residence. He was CLEARLY agitated, and resumed his comments about how I must have a pretty good hiding spot for my manufacturing equipment (lol). When I returned to my home, it had been trashed of course, and had about $500 missing from my piggy bank (I didn't have huge stack of cash or anything in my house).

The package in question was international to USA, from one of the top MDMA vendors (EU) on the market. The packages that I received were always >500 pills, or >250g of raw product, to give you an idea of the kinds of packs that were coming through. Never lost any other packs before this, and I am by no means new to this.

Understand the difference between cooperation and submission. You can cooperate with submitting to tyranny and waiving your rights. Do not answer questions. Be polite and calm. Request a lawyer. Keep your mouth shut. POINT BLANK. PERIOD.

How can you not sue for this? Don't get that.

[20 Points] stiktalk:

so the PO box wasnt connected to your home address? was your home address official with USPSor dmv (or both)?

jc to see how they knew where you lived?

you stashed your product off somewhere else too i assume

[19 Points] drimilr:

Where do you keep your manufacturing equipment? Hahaha

Seems LE usually goes through a lot more trouble for a lot less. What is the demographic of the area you live in? I'm thinking middle of nowhere and the cops didn't know how to handle the situation to their benefit or in the deep ghetto where people are getting killed everyday and dealing with MDMA is almost a waste of time. No need for specifics, just curious.

[16 Points] powerman15:

Your toilet must have been busy in those 3 hours.

[12 Points] SecondWarning:

First of all, r/thathappened.

Second of all, don't leave your piggy bank out for these rogue agents to pilfer.

[9 Points] None:

The person who was getting the pack for you probably snitched but was too scared to actually set you up. That's probably why it went down like that.

[8 Points] upsidedownsyndrom:

whats your theory on how they arrived to your crib? you think they didnt have a search warrant immediately because it was sent to a PO?

[8 Points] VendVend:

How long was your pack in custom before you figured out it was a CD?

Im guessing since you mentioned 250g of raw product and 500 pills this will rather be SALTNPEPPER or VITAMINSTORE from netherlands correct me if im wrong?

Good to know you got away with it, even thou just your name was on it :D

[6 Points] brnqll:

if you leave while they search your home can't they plant stuff in it?

[4 Points] None:

Sons of bitches taking a tip even though they had no proof it was drug money. Why am I not surprised? Let me guess, they didn't bag it as evidence and never mentioned drug money. It was only 500 afterall and that'd be a he'll of a reach. If a vagrant had that kind of cash, I'd probably be suspicious, however....

Good opsec dude, but I don't get why you have the equipment there.

They were being nice cos they wanted you to sign. Why would you consent to them searching something that doesn't belong to you? That's what they'd say in court, if you'd signed....

Can I ask how they linked the P.O. box to your place? Name I assume, but thene why the P.O. box? If that's the case get a fake id and open another?

I'm no dealer btw.

Also, you say lawyer up but you don't mention a lawyer advising you. You sem to know your shit. You didnt need a lawyer cos you knew how to not self incriminate. Lawyer at that point is for 'careless' people.

IF you know what you're doing you only really need a lawyer for a trial, at which point you're fucked.

IF they convict PoM they better have evidence. Hard evidence. And I don't mean c.I.s or Fbi under covers. We all know how that went with Ross. I hope this time it'll be fair. Doubt it somehow....

EDIT, I just reread and realised you weren't admitting to having any equipment at your place, it was the pig's comment.

Looks like I wasn't the only one though...

[3 Points] BurningMan94:

Well done op.

[3 Points] Vesspo:

do you plan to do anything about the 500$/ is there anything you could do? like say 'cops came into my house with a search warrant and 3 hours later my money was gone' to a judge or something

[2 Points] PurpleBeamz:

Thanks for sharing!

[2 Points] lordredvampire:

Spot-on man! Other people is like "you should sign the package and you will be fine"

-_-

You're right.

Ya I hAd a sheriff who arrested me steal 325 dollars out of my car and was obvious as fuck about it. It was my word against his and his won.

[2 Points] 8trdby8:

OP, props for handling that the best way possible.

In an effort to further OPSEC discussion, IMO LE here was incredibly inept. There would have been a much stronger case against OP if they had waited for OP to pick up the package from the PO box and either had cameras to identify him, or personnel watching/waiting. Instead, they thought OP was low-hanging fruit who didn't know his rights, and they got owned.

Thoughts on the above, OP?
