UPS keeps leaving messages for Customs Clearance

Is this a trap? I made a pretty small order off the dark web and I thought I was getting it sent from someone within the same country as me. Now I keep getting UPS calling and leaving messages about a package that needs customs clearance. Do I tell them to return to sender?

They need your permission to act as a broker to import the package. That is why they are calling you.

If it's UPS yeah that's sketchy; what vendor did you use?

I would chaulk it up as a loss and ignore it unless you get a subpoena UPS customs doesn't waste their time calling people for more information. They either have info to confiscate and send you a "love letter" or they don't and the pack gets delivered. It's honestly probably a scam.

Actually i've never dealt with UPS and customs so maybe it is legit... i dunno bro. Call em and find out just don't admit anything if the conversation starts getting weird. Say you ordered something on ebay but you thought it was from the same USA

Never ever fuck with UPS, they can open your package at any time if they get the least bit of suspicion

Return to sender? No....You mean return to fake address/already in use address? That will just insure they find out what's in the package.

Im scared that you kids think customs only contacts people to arrest them for drugs.

You gotta know that customs needs proper paperwork and declarations, on parcels coming into the country.

What if the vendor sent the product in a toy decoy? Well the value and etc needs to be declared. You newbs gotta understand this.

Get to a payphone with $1 or whatever it costs these days and call them.

If you want to spend $9 more +$20 for service, get a dedicated burner phone!
