I am surprized that I haven't thought of this before - Isn't it a bit dangerous to leave a negative review when the vendor has your name and address?

contact him before you do it. if he does not resolve it and you have legit reasons for leaving negative feedback, then go ahead and do it.
if he doxes you report him to the market staff and make a post in this sub so he will be done vending. also do not forget to clean your house in that case.

I still dont understand why feedback isnt randomized and anonymous. Theres no way I would leave shitty feedback. But I won't hesitate to hit the forums hard if the transaction was that bad. I do my research on a vendor and am very selective so I havent had any bad experiences since the one awhile back which opened my eyes to the importance of researching your vendors. The star rating can hurt a vendor, 1 bad star can fuck up there average and theyll be scarred with the 98% rating forever. But only noobs think those feedbacks are real anyway. Hit the forums for the truth.

Bruh most vendors aren't Russian mobsters, they can very well be a Starbucks barista with a niche for online sales

Always resolve outside. I once had a vendor get a new batch and didnt taste bitter like alp should he sent me one of his old stock that was tested i did not like that he shipped without needing my address. Doesnt that mean he kept addies? I didnt say anything for fear of doxx

What's dangerous is giving a seller your name and address in the 1st place.

Everything is fraught with danger. This is a very common question. First and foremost, as others have said, work in a professional manner with the vendor to get the issue resolved. Only when this fails, should you consider leaving a negative review.
I'm sure bad things have come from leaving a negative review but I do think that is outside the norm. Unless you have a psychopathic vendor, most won't do anything if you leave a negative review. If I had a scathing negative review of a vendor, I'd probably burn the drop I used with that vendor, just to be safe.
I wish more people would report honestly - especially negative experiences. At the end of the day, unless the vendor happens to be local to your area, I'd say it'd be pretty uncommon for any serious retaliation resulting from a negative review. I'd recommend always being professional though, even with a negative review. Don't incite or be unnecessarily inflammatory. Keep it professional, on point, accurate and honest.

Unless the vendor is a complete psycho/dumbass, then no. What's in it for them? They know they'll get positive reviews and if they aren't the kind of person who can take criticism then they shouldn't be doing something like this
If buying drugs then don't worry about it
If buying an assassin then maybe worry about it
