Helped a friend out, bottle is low, cops might come. Need ideas/help

I helped a friend out by giving him 25 bars with the idea that he would pay me back in 3 days when he gets his shit refilled. Things happened and now I'm worried that I'm going to get fucked because my bottle is 25 off. How can I avoid getting arrested for this? I need ideas asap as they could come whenever so ordering 25 is out of the question. What do I say if they come? Thanks and any advice is appreciated as I'm stressing the fuck out.

Call the cops, report the pills stolen.

Can you elabourate a bit? Why would the police come? What do you mean your bottle is 25 off, who would know?

OP, if you're on probation, and the cops get a call saying you sold someone 25 bars, and you're 25 bars short, then there is no story you're going to be able to tell that is going to change their mind. They'll put 2 and 2 together. If it's a probation case, accept the fact that you're fucked, you shouldn't be selling drugs to "friends" with big mouths if you are on probation. Although it's doubtful that the police are going to follow up such a flimsy lead.

If you're not on probation, then you have nothing to worry about. It's your medication, and the police cannot bust you for not taking it as it is prescribed. I know, because I once got busted for misdemeanor marijuana possession, and the cops found a plate with 4 7.5 hydrocodones crushed up into lines on it. They tried to sweat me on it, but I showed them my prescription, and there was nothing they could do about it. More to the point, if you're not under probation, they're not going to be able to get a warrant or anything of the like.

Either way, take some xanax and chill out

Thanks for all the opinions / advice. I'm not on probation but was obviously worried over this. I'm fine now.
