as a n00b, when you think you get the hang of something, life tends to show that you were dead wrong. of course this is true of DMNs. in march 2017, reviewing cannabis deals on AB, we stumbled on a great find from what appeared to be a reputable vendor, BudCentral.
All the stats appeared to be in his favor: high trust rating, high volume of transactions, positive reviews for dozens of pages. The catch was the FE listings. We decided to roll the dice and place the order.
The listing was for the oz of GSCs with 2 gummie freebies, 1 day shipping and a tracking code (how delightful!). We ordered 2. The n00b in us didn't realize that AB automatically processes FE listings - we thought we would manually have to FE after placing order. As soon as we saw it finalized instantly, we felt strange.
Something felt off. We read the reviews again on his vendor page, and also on the specific listing, but this time checked the negative feedbacks. "Selective Scammer" was the takeaway, we thought we were idiots...a quick reddit search showed 1y/o posts reporting the same thing. FE's with no deliveries, no communication, and "selective scammer" accusations.
But then BC came through with the tracking number, and we thought things would be ok. Sure enough, a delivery came just a few days later due to long distance travel. We were elated! Opened up the package to be greeted by an awesome aroma of ganj that made you want to slap yo momma. But then we weighed it out, and were devastated to see a 28 instead of a 56. Immediately we complained to the vendor, who seemed genuine that it was an honest mistake. He assured us that he would send a reship. A few days of no replies to our requests for updates, and we just felt lucky to have what we got. But to our surprise, a few days later, the 2nd package arrived, in all but identically sweet glory!
However tenuous and frustrating this experience was, we felt it was necessary to share with curious minds. BudCentral does not have a good track record if you look at historical posts on DNM reddit articles, but he showed patience, cooperation, and great customer service with us. Thanks for reading!
You need to become more subtle BudCentral.
