Hey everyone. A little background on the situation: I ordered a few packages a little more than 6 months ago that never arrived (10g of m, under 10 tabs). I took it as a loss, moved on, and stopped shipping to my house. Now during this time, I was shipping to an abreviated version of my name.
Fast forward 6 months and my roommate is going for her global entry interview. Everything is going swimmingly until they ask "btw do you live with <abbreviated name>. She says that she lives with me and gives my full name. The interview ends. She gives them a call yesterday to find the status of her app as she is going abroad today and they tell her there is an open case.
She knew I was shipping things for a time, but never knew anything was intercepted. Will she get stopped at boarder patrol today at the airport?
I haven't told her about the intercepted package yet as she is one that's prone to severely panicking. If I don't tell her and she is questioned I think she will admit right away that I had been shipping things. I'm ok to this option, as I should be responsible for my actions, however I'm afraid she will get caught up as an accessory and not be able to board her flight.
If I do tell her then she will be freaking the hell out the entire time at the airport. But I could also coach her into denying any plausibility by saying she doesnt open her roommates mail.
Am I completely over thinking this? Should I tell her? (Her flights later this Eve) or do I keep silent?
Thanks Reddit!
She already knows too much don't tell her anything else. If she rolls on you about getting a few things chances are that will confirm your usage and prolly greenlight warrants.
Edit: I don't think she will, get stopped st the airport either btw
