Yubikey, Ledger Nano S/Trezor, OpenPGP Smartcard and other Bitcoin, PGP and 2FA/U2F related gadgets...

Hi all,

I've been looking at the Ledger Nano S for a while now and it looks great and all but I'm not sure I understand well all of it's functions.

I'm mostly looking for something that will help make PGP and Bitcoins more secure but also easier to use.

What I'd love would exist is some kind of auto-encryption/auto-decryption when you present your Yubikey/Ledger Nano S/Trezor/OpenPGP Smartcard/etc...

The same could work for bitcoins and 2-FA/U2F...

In the case that this isn't possible (or possible yet?). Which it very well might be, I'd love for someone to explain to me how the various devices I've mentioned work in conjunction with TAILS in general as well as it's PGP app and Bitcoin app (Electrum) and also with Mac OSX GPGTools and Electrum or Windows GPG4Win and Electrum.

Thanks a whole bunch! I really appreciate the help and I'm sure it'll help others wondering the same things...

Cheers,

SunnyHours.

I just put gpg4USB and Electrum on USB (portable mode) encrypted with Veracrypt. Really, that's all I needed. Just make sure you backup your PGP data and seeds passphrase on Electrum elsewhere safe.
