After seeing a post from SpiritButler which both advertised his current offerings and which mentioned the lack of reviews for his storefront, I contacted him on DHL and inquired whether he'd be open to some sort of incentivized review. I remembered that he'd done a promo of cheap sampler packs some time back but their sales didn't seem to translate into reviews.

My interest is mainly in vetting the quality of the presses; not only whether they pass reagent testing but whether an independent lab would verify the stated amount of mdma per press. I was also interested in how good his reliability is on shipping and stealth. Energy Control charges $70 for laboratory analysis. I suggested that I order a 10-pack, and if SpiritButler agreed, I would reagent test part of a pill and send another whole one off to Energy Control, and pay for the lab testing. In exchange for an honest review and posting the results of the lab tests, he would send me slightly more than that $70 worth of product after. Emphasis on "honest" rather than a "positive" review.

His response:

I don't mind an incentivized review so long as it is disclosed in the manner that you describe, so I am interested in a 100% honest review without any of my input. In fact, if you are open to ordering from a different anonymous account, you can be sure that the service you receive it no different than the service I provide to all of my customers.

I therefore created an entirely new DHL account to order from, new pgp key, etc. Order was placed late last Monday night, set to shipped by Tues morning, in my hand by Friday. Stealth was ON-POINT. Reagent testing was good; Marquis, Mandelin, Mecke all straight to black. Folin and Simon reagent tests were inconclusive, most likely due to the binder dye (green). I'm quite confident that they contain mdma but am still curious to see what the lab results say about amount.

Overall I'm very impressed with SpiritButler's operation. He answered any questions I had promptly with manual encryption, has extremely fast shipping and excellent stealth. I hesitated between giving a 5 vs a 4 on the price part of the review; technically I probably could have found mdma presses for cheaper but this would have involved either international shipping or going to vendor shops outside of DHL. I'm happy with the price-service value I received.

I do have 2 recommendations for SpiritButler's DHL storefront (I haven't checked him out on other markets):

  1. Take a few minutes and fill out your vendor profile more completely, especially your instructions/terms for prospective buyers. (Manual PGP encryption, use this format for your address, etc)

  2. Institute a policy like some vendors do where you put in just a little bit extra product for customers who diligently follow your instructions/terms... maybe not for the 5-packs, but for 10-packs or more you might wind up reducing your workload by rewarding customers who do everything correctly the first time, therefore needing less hand-holding from you.

One of the presses is on its way to Energy Control, and I will link back to this thread when the results have arrived.

The incentive amount will be enough to cover the $70 that I'm paying for lab testing, plus the 1 and 1/2 pills that were sacrificed for the lab and my own reagent testing... but not much more.

Pics of the pills will be posted in a few hours.

Overall I'm quite happy, and unless the lab results come back to show the presses as being seriously below their advertised mdma content, I plan on ordering from SpiritButler again.

EDIT 2: Energy Control results are in:

Sample Code: YKKT6162 Substance: MDMA Lab Code: 105798 Result: MDMA 93mg (no adulterants were found)

Our results offer directly the result of the salt as we're using a salt a reference standard. Qualitative analysis was performed with GC/MS. The quantitative result was obtained using a calibration curve from a reference standard.

Our drug testing service is specifically designed for final users. The results we offer are only valid if the sample used is exactly the same as the sample analyzed. So none of our results can be used as a quality guarantee from any drug vendor or product. Energy Control declines all responsability in this sense.

Any doubts or questions, or any info you need, feel free to ask :)

I've been in touch with Spiritbutler and he seems genuinely distressed by the sharp discrepency between advertised strength and actual. He stated that the tomorrowland presses were from a source that had been above board with him until this batch, and that the netflixes he's currently selling are from a new source, but that he'll need to start on regular checking of his stock if he wants to come back from this.

I'll let him chime in if he chooses to, but would recommend at the least that the netflix presses be tested for actual content.

So whatever happened to posting the results of the Energy Control test? We know it's MDMA, I just want to know how much.

Thanks for the review.

But You say

[1]+1 Almost entirely cut - very weak And [x]+5 Excellent - great value & low cost

Low quality and at $11.5/pill shouldn't be great value.

Sorry you got weak pills but thanks for the review either way
