Does this seem sketchy to anyone?

DrChronic recently added this to his profile. Is there any way this makes sense as to why he would be doing it? Do you think it is safe to order from him still?

"UNTIL BTC STABILIZES ALL ORDER MUST FE, I CAN PROVIDE TRACKING TO INSURE YOUR ORDER ---THANK YOU---HOPEFULLY THIS WILL BE TEMPORARY."

Only FE if you are OK with never seeing your money again. Not saying that every time you FE you will get ripped off, but it is definitely possible.

I don't smoke weed so I don't really keep up with weed vendors and I don't know anything about DrChronic (I assume he sells weed because of the name). However, I do know that there are plenty of good weed vendors that don't require FE. I would order from one of them.

Fuck him, lots of 'reputable' vendors have been cashing out recently and throwing away their good reputations that they worked weeks to obtain due to the recent BTC devaluation. He's not going to toss you a bone when BTC goes up in value and you end up paying significantly more for a product due to escrow, he won't tell you "well BTC went up since you placed your order so instead of you paying me $30 for something that's $25, I'm going to refund you that $5".

We also 'know' that BTC is going to be back up eventually anyways, what difference does it make that BTC dropped a bit? Does he want BTC or does he want cash, because you know that like almost any investment commodity, hold on to something long term and you'll always see an increase in value (unless it goes kaput, but I don't think anyone foresees that with BTC).

There's always an increase of this kind of scam during BTC drops.

Unless you're prepared to never see your money again, NEVER FE.

Especially with bud, dude. There are loads of other quality bud vendors that are no-FE.

[2 Points] BlueShadesTM:

BTC is never stable, it can rise and crash at any given moment its a risk with using it so in my opinion its not a valid reason to make people FE.

I agree with CanUTaste, there are many no-FE alternatives and you should just go with them.

[2 Points] BadWeatherVane:

How on earth are people still asking this question? Every day there are twelve new "should I FE?" threads. Anyone who knows anything has been telling them not to do it since Ross was in diapers.

Don't do business with anyone who requires FE. If you noobs stop doing it, the lame vendors who require it will be forced to give up and operate within the normal boundaries. Those boundaries that are the very reason for these markets to exist.

OP, is this joker going to fatten your order or offer you a partial refund if BTC doubles overnight instead of going down? No? Then fuck him. No escrow, no business.

There are countless bud vendors out there that sell all amounts, have completely flawless track records, and have been around since SR1 that do not require FE.

ogbryan

Colorado

TheBudFather

the list really does go on.

PS: BTC was never stable and if the vendor can't handle the fluctuations, find a new one.

i got conned by a guy who had that up

Offer to FE once he gives you a tracking number that shows your package has been shipped. I'm guessing the only way he could rip you off with that would be to give you someone else's tracking number, but if you have the tracking number you can call USPS and get info on the address it's to be sent to, I'm pretty sure.

I've bought from DrChronic probably 5 times and all transactions have been flawless. Don't know how much that comforts you but I would probably trust him...
