My initial PO Box name card had my name, PO Box #, and date opened, that's it. That card has recently been replaced with a new one that now has a hand-drawn red dot beside my name, and an additional PO Box # written in small numbers next to my real PO Box # which is written in large numbers.
The last few dnm shipments I received at this address dropped 2-3 days later than usual, and each had a small tear at the bottom as if they were poked with a letter opener. The tears were small enough and hidden well so that most people wouldn't notice, which makes me believe my mail here may be being intentionally tampered with. Fortunately, these shipments had excellent stealth (several barriers of sealed mbb), so ultimately no issues other than the annoying delays.
I suspect the red dot implies my address is being investigated, and it serves as a reminder for the mail carrier to place my mail in the other PO Box listed on my name card for the postal inspector to examine first.
Currently, I have a small order in transit to this address, delayed of course. This one contains cannabis, and I am worried that the longer the USPS has it, the more at risk I am. I read that cannabis can only stay in transit for so long before the smell starts to seep through the package for a dog to smell, no matter how well it is packaged.
My questions:
Would you consider this sufficient evidence my PO Box address has been burned or at least considered suspicious by the Post Office?
Could someone with experience shipping/receiving cannabis confirm if I should be concerned with the smell seeping through the barriers and packaging over time, assuming my mail is being monitored?
I'd order some random shit off amazon from like china and other weird places and see whats happens
