Ever had this happen?

Your laid back its mid afternoon, your in your sentry position for mailman creeping. All of a sudden, theres your bestfriend slowly inching up the block. But at the moment he doesnt stop at your box, you swear and curse the name of the vendor... He must be a lazy fuck. All is lost no hope left here, Still creeping on your boy though, just as he rounds the block to reach your neighbors across the street, he jumps out of the truck and starts jogging towards your box as if some invisible force is guiding them, then his arms come into view and whats he holding? Your fucking pack. My mothafuckin courrier!

Dont have to set up to watch,,have an ipcam pointed at my mailbox and a monitor next to the tv. Anytime Im expecting just have to watch tv and he cant sneak past me. But yeah I do watch and hope on those days for a drop on the way back up the block too.

I like to pitch a tent near the mailbox, closest here is like an 8 mile drive away. Yay for living in the remote wilderness.

You tie some cans to the mailbox, so that if the mailman comes by moose instead of snowmobile, you get notified.

Never been that lucky.

I'm always watching out. In the UK we have postboxes that attach to our front door, but I share a main front door with my neighbour, so he has access to my mail. So as soon as I hear the letterbox go, I'm straight down the stairs.

Never had a postman come back though.

Something similar happened to me today. Mailman came and put mail into my mail box. I walked outside and the priority envelope that I was expecting wasn't there. I get pretty disappointed and I'm trying to decide if I should call the post office or maybe this was a CD. Then, 30 seconds later, my mailman comes speeding back in his truck and hands me the envelope and says "Whoops! Sorry, I forgot this!"
