Consensus on reshipping companies?

Has anyone ever used a reshipping company successfully? The idea is to order something from canada, ship it to a Canadian reshipping company, and have them reship it to the U.S. Has anyone done something like this before? How will the company know what to declare on the customs form? Will they have to open the package or will they simply put the box in another box?

If anyone can comment from personal experience I'd appreciate it

They will open and repackage it so I dont think this will work

If you order from a vendor and it gets seized then your address is burnt but you may be eligable for a refund/reship to another address.

Use a forwarding company and you have a higher chance of detection, your address is burnt and no chance of a refund/reship

I've had a few customers use them, and ship to tough countries in Mid East, and also India in another case. I'm not necessarily recommending it, there are probably increased risks, but it seemed to work OK, they reordered a few times.
