Has anyone ever tried Gold? I've been keeping an eye on him since SR1 and he has always had great reviews but I was wondering if anyone on here has experience with this vendor.
Also how dangerous is it to send large amounts of cash in the mail?

"The United States Postal Service does not prohibit you from sending cash in the mail... If you send cash by registered mail, you can insure the value for up to $25,000." Sending cash in the mail is not a problem... it's paper. Think about it for a second. The only way you will ever get caught with cash in the mail is if the package says "CASH" in big letters on the outside or something else equally stupid. I've used Gold (and other cash dealers) a while back when I used to have a ton of extra BTC from mining, before coinbase/circle existed, and it always came through. The largest amount I've personally ever had shipped to me was about $2500 which is nothing compared to what others do. Even if Gold does collect names/addresses, how is that any different from a illicit drug vendor that does the same thing? It's not like Gold can prove anything from a few currency trades, especially if the account used is only used for currency trades. Trading Bitcoins for cash is not illegal, but trading Bitcoins for illicit drugs is. Receiving cash in the mail is questionable but not illegal

Cash is the mail is shady and if ever found attracts a lot of attention. Id stay away. If i remember correct cash in a DVD box got nod extra attention and back in the SR1 days there was a popular bulk weed vendor that was also doing cash in mail for cash out purposes and got busted. Im racking my brain to come up with his vendor name but cant.

Stay far far far away...
Unless you have a ridiculously secure drop I'd stay away personally. I know he's been around for a while but it's not worth it IMO to have anyone know your real identity and address. If I knew where my tinfoil hat was I'd put it on and tell you it's possible that Gold is LE collecting names and addresses. I'd be curious to hear from a vendor who has successfully cashed out with him for a lengthy period of time.
