So I think Coinbase just hooked me up with free BTC...

Yeah, I started a USD>BTC transfer some time ago which landed just recently. This was for the exact amount in my account. During the (eternal) waiting time, I periodically checked my account. Usually after a couple days CB yanks the amount from the bank. However, this time it didn't happen when it usually did. Even now, after the coins have indeed arrived into my wallet - my bank account still has the money in it... This is so weird. Has anything happened like this to anyone else?

UPDATE -- I spoke with Coinbase and it appears their ACH System was undergoing a bug during the past few days. They ensured me that they were aware of the issue, and most importantly to keep the USD in the account. He said there will be a withdrawl come tomorrow or later.

They are almost 100% likely to charge you within the month. This has happened to me before and like a smartass I spent the money on something else and they overdrew my account, had me pay a 14 dollar fee

Contact Coinbase. They might notice at some point and come asking you for money.

They're gonna charge you man. This happened to me before. They tried to WD twice like a month later when there were no finds and I got charged like $60 in overdraft fees and my coimbase account was suspended.

Don't spend it. Contact them before they fuck you trying to get the $ back.

Your not alone!

Seems like you posted here before asking Coinbase. Wouldn't it have been more efficient to ask them? Would you have blamed them if your acct had become overdrawn like others did?

Just trying to understand why people post on reddit instead of treating CB and bitcoin with the same importance as cash.
