The Push for Monero

While many of us have benefited from the surge in BTC price, it's time we left it in the past and move on to something safer and more efficient. The wave starts with getting vendors and markets on board.

While making an order I urge you to ask your vendor if they have considered switching to Monero (or alternative). If more customers want to pay with Monero, vendors and markets will want to switch to where customers have money.

Although I have no experience using Monero, I've heard it's the most private and therefore safest. Safety should always be our number one priority.

TL;DR: Ask your vendors and markets to start accepting an alternative to BTC!

People shut the fuck up about fees. This discussion is about privacy. Monero is a private coin with good worth. Look at its value it's just about the same as ETH. XMR is here to stay. The wrong people are starting to control BTC. Monero is an excellent alternative. Do your research.

I'm done with BTC. Never again will I buy any. I'm sticking with Dogecoin and Dogecoin only!

Zion almost forces the vendors to accept Xmr. Just deposit into your Xmr wallet on the site, and it's available for payment once u check out. Vendors report Xmr showing up in their accounts without having to previously enable accepting it.

I agree that bitcoin is not as viable as an option anymore.

Vendor here, I'm totally on board.

So sick of Bitcoin and its unreliability and lack of privacy.

I'm all for using another currency to avoid fees and long confirmation times, but the problem is that you still have to buy btc before converting it to another currency. So you end up paying the fees to buy btc, then fees to transfer it, another fee to purchase the currency at an exchange, and a fee to withdraw it. Unless I am missing something. It would be nice if there were an easier way, like a trusted and secure place similar to coinbase that allowed for direct purchase of other alt coins. Coinbase allows eth and ltc right now, I would imagine litecoin would be a good choice to use on markets for that reason, along with lower fees and faster confirmations.

So that will be the market called Libertas then.

[2 Points] planetexpre55:

That's the main reason why we switched to vending on Libertas! Looking forward to OB2 Monero integration as well...

Monero is the next wave, let's do this.

Aeon is pretty good too imo

Bitcoin = shitcoin

[-13 Points] MidwestMichigan:

But here is the problem, you need to buy btc just own monero sourcfully. So in the end fees will fuck you. Ltc is what we should aim for

[-13 Points] Bakkerinho:

I would suggest Verge Coin. Built with the focus on privacy, fast, cheap and anonymous!

[-20 Points] Avengerhack:

So much talk about Monero when there are currencies that are better fit for darkweb, such as Zcash.
