Repackaged by post office

So my last order was about a month ago, from AB, when I got my package it was in a cheap recycled paper napkin looking envelope with a stamp on the front that said "repackaged by post office". In side was a paper with the USPS logo on it and it basically said "hey we broke your shit and had to repackage it" and a grey packing bag, inside that was my mylar package. So, now its time to reup, and that brings me to my question, is my drop burned or nah? I've been buying for a while and never seen this before and couldnt find any posts on it.

There are basically two possibilities:

If you had anything to worry about, you would have never gotten the pack.

If I were you I would contact that vendor and show genuine appreciation for taking the step of a good visual barrier that, had it been missing, could have put you in jail. I imagine vendors appreciate hearing good things like that.

I got a clearnet package in an envelope (silicone containers) and one side of it had a huge gash in it. No clue how containers didn't fall out. Had it been a DN pack, it would be scary.

sounds like they didn't open the mylar bag contents and just repackaged it cause the box got fucked up. A big reason why vendors who package well are important. Let's put it this way: if they wanted you to think the box hadn't been tampered with you wouldn't know and they wouldn't just give it to you in hopes you'll make future orders.

Odds are the postal people who damaged your box saw the mylar bag and thought "I hope I didn't damage anything in there" and shoved it into whatever and sent it on its way

If they knew anything illegal was in it you wouldn't have gotten the first package.
