order got opened at customs. they removed everything and sent me the empty letter.

2 questions:

1) I have taken pictures and contacted the vendor with the link to the pictures. Can I ask for a re-shipping in this case? He states nothing about it in his profile but he is a highly respected vendor.

2) Do I need to be worried about receiving other orders to the same address now?

Thank you. This was my very first order on a DNM and it directly ended this way. I do not post the pics publicly because I do not want to uncover the vendors stealth.

Edit 1: I have now asked the vendor for either refund or reshipping. He has so far answered that he does not want to see the pictures ("I will not click on links that I get from others, especially on darkweb, you should understand that"). Waiting for his reply in regards of the refund/reshipping.

Edit 2: Here is the actual tape of the customs: http://imgur.com/lMR9ofw

Edit 3: order was NL -> CZ

what was the order and which country did it come from?

  1. Wouldn't hurt, make sure to strip the exif data. But...
  2. Yes. Consider the address burnt.

I got a love letter once, the vendor knew it was intercepted and reshaped before I even knew, the reship came through fine. If it was just USCBP that got it, they don't flag addresses, at least they didn't then. They've got enough to keep them busy. Now if it was a large quantity and another agency got involved, that might be a different story.

Mostly vendor would reship in case like that. Also, origin country and destination country ?

bound to happen to someone, glad it was you and not me, ordering from the netherlands is generally considered a bad idea

reply from the vendor. How can I show him the proof of the opened package?

[1 Points] HelloOficer:

You have ordered from one flagged country to another. Of course it's going to get opened and checked.

If I were you I would never order from such countries but rather invest a bit more and get the product from less risky countries such as UK maybe.
