Anyone else having problems with language barriers?

There is someone just not understanding what I'm saying. I'm a vendor and a person is asking questions about shipping. They want 2 day shipping from one continent to another. I said it's $100. But if you get a quantity of 10 at one time, it's cheaper because then that's the same as $10 shipping per item instead of $100 10 times. Now they want to buy one and only pay $10 for 2 day shipping! wtf?!

Plus, I can't understand half of what they say. I want to just say find someone who speaks your language that's selling this stuff or find someone who speak English and have them translate between us.

It kind of sounds like the buyer thinks you're in the same continent, or could just be a moron/teen I suppose.

I do feel for non-English speakers when it comes to the markets though, I don't think they have very many vendors that they can communicate well with.

He might not even speak any English at all and hes using google translate to talk to you. Eastern European cam girls do that a lot.

Why not paste your full explanation here in English and ask someone to translate it to the buyer's language? I'm regularly shocked by the number of people on this sub for whom English is a second (or third...) language.
