Now that sigaint has been down for a few days, Does Lelantos email even work?

Back before sigaint there was an onion email service, lelantos (http://lelantoss7bcnwbv.onion) that worked for about a year. Then I stopped using it when sigaint came out. I still have an account but I can't seem to send email anymore. I keep getting a "504 Gateway Time-out nginx" when I hit send (with the non JS, squirrelmail)

I tried to create a lelantos account yesterday and paid the bitcoin fee. So far > 24 hours later I can't log in. Sent an e-mail to their support e-mail box. We'll see if I get any help.

Try mail2tor. It's on the superlist. They are free and use squirrelmail also.

There was some issues with Lelantos awhile back i would do some research and look into it before usuing again. This shouldnt have to be said but always use PGP when emailing anything!

requires JS but protonmail just launched a hidden service...

It WAS working earlier today when I checked it (loaded the landing page and checked POP)...I guess it's down again or perhaps I was just randomly lucky or something...strange.

Perhaps DDOS? Strange to not see a notice from them regarding this downtime.

For those of us who have tried to register for lelantos, sent our payment, and still have not received a working account and/or a response from their support e-mail, let's ask the mods to put a warning up on the superlist if the lelantos staff continues to be unresponsive.
