Community,
In light of the problem we encountered with the contests, out of an abundance of caution we have removed the Darknet Deals Thread from the sub. We are working on an alternative so that we ensure the continuing safety of this sub and to ensure we are the right side of things and don't break any Reddit rules.
Sorry for the inconvenience this causes. We will have something up soon to replace the DnD thread.

UPDATE 1: After speaking with a Reddit Admin, it is clear that the Darknet Deals Thread is not going to exist on this sub.
UPDATE 2: We will probably end up moving the DnD threads to another sub and slap a link to that sub from here. However, that sub will also be subjected to the same limitations. We might have to only allow an onion link and not much else. No products/pricing allowed. We should still be able to do categories but the ads might have to be very sparse and limited to just an onion URL to the store. We are working out the details.
UPDATE 3: We are trying to see what we can do about contests. We cannot, as a sub, actively participate in a contest - that would mean no "voting" here, no "entries" here. It would have to happen off the sub. Similar to the ads, it might need to be quite simple: Point to an onion that has the contest details. We might be able to allow limited details and verbiage. But will need to refine it.
Bottom line is keeping the sub safe. I know this sucks and is a major change in policy and how we've done things. This is not us (mods) wanting to change how things are done. This is so we comply with Reddit and Reddit rules. This is their house, so their rules. We will respect them and ensure that we color within the lines. The thing that comes to mind is a sub like the sourcing sub for opiates (not allowed to link to it per their, the mods over there, policy) - they literally are only allowed extremely limited verbiage. "Reviews" are limited to "++++" or "----" - they make discussion happen in PMs or off Reddit entirely. We don't need to go that far b/c we are further removed from the action, but still, we will need to clamp down in order to ensure this community stays around.
When I was a mod of this sub things were so much simpler lmao
