[EMAIL PROVIDER] Protonmail and their onion link...

So as we all know protonmail has just added an onion link to access they're service. But they need fucking JavaScript to be enabled to use it... Not good.

I'm not sure if anyone even trusts protonmail but with an hidden service version, it looks promising (in my opinion).

Anyway I suggested the feature of removing the JavaScript. For those play of us who play the tor game. So if anyone wants to help out and vote!!!

Have fun roleplaying ;P

I've been using protonmail for about a year now, not as a DarkNet email service provider but just as my regular. I really like it. I like their app, the UI, I like everything about it. I wasn't aware they had a hidden service, but I'm glad they do!

Too bad they require verification to sign up.

Definitely take a look at the comment on your poll.

Before you vote for this, you should come up with a plan for how ProtonMail will decrypt messages client-side without JavaScript.

This is a valid concern. ProtonMail never sees your unencrypted inbox, users decrypt it client-side, using JS. A safer approach would for them to produce JS that lets one save it offline ala coinb.in so that you can save it once and know it will never change every time you run it. If they did away with JS altogether, you're just submitting your password to them in plain text - which they could store and open your inbox at any time.
