Package marked as delivered, not there, no "we missed you" slip, getting concerned

So a while ago I placed an order on Dream with a reputable vendor for a small amount of heroin, but after a week since the vendor had marked it shipped via priority it was still not there. I contacted the vendor and he admitted to forgetting to send the pack and reshipped it to me. I used my usps to find the tracking number for the package and followed it as it went along.

On Saturday it was marked as "out for delivery", however nothing came. On both my usps and on the packages tracking number page it has now been marked as "delivered to mailbox". Today I checked the mail and some regular stuff was in there, but again no package, not even a pink "we missed you" slip.

Well I'm not sure where to go from here. I fear that if I go to the post office to inquire about the package I will be admitting knowledge of a drug pack addressed to myself. However I do not want to just let this go as there is likely a pack with my name and address full of dope floating around the postal system.

I also have another pack with some cannabis on its way to my address, however I have not been able to locate it on my usps as the vendor may have not shipped it yet or some other reason. I am concerned that the first pack was intercepted. Now if that was the only pack on its way to my place I could deny any knowledge of it, but that may be hard to do with two separate packages. Has anything like this happened to anyone else? Package marked delivered but there is absolutely nothing there...Did the postman get a "special bonus" at my expense? Strange...

Anywho, any advice would be greatly appreciated, I'm not sure what to do here, this is the first time I've ever had any issues with packages arriving from the DNMs, thanks in advance folks.

Could be it was delivered to a neighbor.

Could be the mail carrier scanned it delivered but didn't deliver it yet.

Either wait and see if it's there tomorrow, ask your neighbors, or call your Post Office

FedEx does this shit to me all the time. Marked delivered, 2 days later the package will arrive. I hate FedEx and will never use them myself. UPS or USPS.

Have you ordered from the vendor before? Do you know his stealth? Maybe it was delivered but he has really good stealth, I would check all the mail in your mailbox VERY carefully. That does actually happen to some people.

I had no idea you could track packages on the way to you without knowing the tracking number. This is the first time I have heard of that. I have asked the post office before and was told you needed to already know the tracking number. If this can be done, why do customers even bother asking the vendor for the tracking number? If they can just goto the website and look it up through the USPS website. It seems like everyone would be doing that if it was an option.

well...it has now been 6 days since the second package was marked shipped (usually 2-3 day delivery) and for the vendors OPSEC he doesn't share any kind of shipping / tracking info with customers, which I totally understand, but the fact that both of these packs are now either missing or very late leads me to believe my address has been burned. In addition, I received a priority pack from the clearnet and the box was all taped up and stuff, looked like it may have been opened. Looks like my DNM days are done...swell.
