Is it a dead end after all?

Title says it all, I do have some questions. I would like to thank you in advance for your answers. I have been following this community for quite a bit now guys, but I was more on the anon side.

I overheard a conversation in a bus lately and these guys were talking about DNMs. Obviously I kept my mouth shut and just listened. One of them was willing to sell a Schedule I substance (Canada) over the DNMs. The guy said that he had the possibility to obtain 3 prescriptions per month for the substance (which he did not specify if i remember well) and he was intending to sell them over the internet. My first question arises here: what would be the penalty (or sentence)for someone who is selling about 90 pills on a monthly basis and sending them over the mail? How bad does it get?

Second, let's say somehow this guy shows up on the LE radar. They figure out that he has been sending these prescriptions through the mail. However, the city that he lives in is not that big actually. Wont it be very easy for LE to identify him if he is the ONLY one, or one of the only ones using the tor net in that city? Seems pretty simple for LE. I think that even if he uses bridges it is not perfect. What do you guys think about this?

Also, I was thinking about this, and I think it's impossible in Canada to send mail internationally without physically going to the post office, so its pretty a dead end isnt it?

If any could answer both questions would be awesome

Ok. So. If someone you overheard on the bus is planning to become a vendor, then first of all they shouldn't be talking about it on the bus! they also shouldn't be talking about it to RL friends. The idea is to tell NOBODY, not your girlfriend, not your friend, not anybody.

What they should do is go away and read all of this.

https://www.deepdotweb.com/jolly-rogers-security-guide-for-beginners/

It's kind of old info now but they need that kind of wealth of knowledge before they even consider vending. Then they need to learn all the latest techniques/ schools of thought on Opsec.

Next they need to read through gwern's comprehensive list of darknet arrests which should give them an idea of the risks involved and the kind of fails which ended up seeing TOO MANY people's freedom being taken from them:

http://www.gwern.net/Black-market%20arrests

Then they need to sit down and really think about worst case scenarios. Do they want an arrest and prison sentence for selling drugs on their record for life. If they're twenty something I can guarantee they will have changed in their wishes, wants and needs by the time they're forty.

Can they handle a prison stint? Would they be able to deal with their parents, family, loved ones and people they know forever seeing them as that guy who sold drugs on the internet.

The thing of it is, when you take into account the amount of effort and paranoia required to sell your script online, if you applied that kind of effort and continuity (you have to log on each morning and get those orders out on time come rain or shine) to real life shit, you may as well go and start up a legit business and you'd probably make more money and with less stress. Being a vendor is mega stress.

The fact that you're talking about bridges etc tells me you need to seriously swot up on your Opsec knowledge before you do anything rash that you may come to regret for the rest of your life.

Prison

so its pretty a dead end isnt it?

If someone has to ask if something is risky then the answer is usually yes
