Controlled delivery for one gram of marijuanna + shooting

Hello all. Today I had the unfortunate experience of having a controlled delivery today. I won't say the vendor name because he's pretty reputable and it was a really small order. I understand mistakes happen.

I ordered a gram (just wanted to see if the vendor was good quality) of cannabis four to five days ago to deal with my cluster headaches, as a forty-five year old man these can get out of control very quickly. As I live in Texas, I have no way unfortunately to get my needed marijuana nor do I have any connections.

Anyways, I go out with my wheelchair like I usually do every 11:45 AM and check the mail. This is where things get sketchy. The mailman asks me to sign for a package, however, he never exactly told me which package. I signed, and then I walked off with my mail.

Once I was half way up my driveway, two S.W.A.T. team cars, and a "hidden" car (I can't seem to find the word for what they're called right now) pull into my field of vision. A police officer yells, "Get on the ground scumbag!" obviously, since I'm in a wheelchair it is kind of difficult to do that (I'm paralyzed from the waist down). The officer repeats his command but this time with his firearm raised, I yell back that I'm disabled and have no way of getting on the ground.

Here's where things get fuzzy, the police officer fires his weapon, and I feel a sharp pain in my lower chest. I see blood and I immediately go into shock and faint.

Next thing I know, I'm in the hospital. I ask the nurse in the room with me what I'm here for, and she says, "You were hurt during a robbery of your home". Now I know damn well what happened, and it was definitely not a robbery. I have tried to contact my local police about the incident and they deny sending anyone to do a controlled delivery on me, and they also deny having any part in my injury.

I'm at a loss for words right now, and a loss of drugs. Sitting in the hospital feeling like I want to just bleed out.

Thanks for reading what happened to me earlier today, and stay safe out there. It caused me a lot of pain to write this and I'm going to try and get some rest.

No need to update. I'm sure the police shooting a paralyzed man in his own driveway over an oz of pot will be all over the news for the next week so we will absolutely be able to follow your story.

Or are you just lost? /r/thathappened is usually where stories like this go.

Edit: a gram, not an ounce. Even more impressive...

Assuming this is real, just in case, have you ever done any research on the use of psilocybe mushrooms to treat your cluster headaches? Many people who haven't had luck with any medications have found that microdoses of shrooms took away their cluster headaches for up to a few days at a time. You don't need enough to trip, just a tiny piece of shroom will do. It has saved many from suicide. No one deserves cluster headaches, if you truly do suffer then please look into this option. PM me if you need more info.

Until I see a news story, I'm really willing to call this FUD...

This shit isn't even entertaining. Poor fucker got a bad case of 'Pleasesomebodynoticeme-itis', and late stage, by the look of it. Nothing we can do about it unfortunately, may God have mercy on his soul.

As a nurse who works on A+E, I am incredibly impressed that despite being shot less than 12 hours before posting this, you're able to get on reddit and type this coherent post. Dude, you're hardcore.

Now I can't say I've treated a huge amount of gunshot wounds but almost all of them have needed some kind of surgery or at the very least they have been kept on diamorphine and barely coherent for the first few days. I find it very difficult to believe that if you'd had a gunshot wound to the chest, this would be happening right now. You would almost certainly need surgery and that is taking out any complications it's likely you'd have being a paraplegic.

What you need to do is go edit your post and pretend this happened on, say, Tuesday and you're sitting in your hospital bed, recovering from the emergency surgery you needed right after being brought in. Maybe throw in a hospital acquired infection for maximum sympathy; MRSA is popular unless you want to go the c-diff route. Personally I'd go with MRSA. People will definitely believe you then, I guarantee it.

Surprised no one else mentioned this. How fortunate that he was able to walk off with his mail, despite being paralysed and confined to a wheelchair.

You walked off with your mail. Maybe getting out of the wheelchair was a tip off?
