Internet assassination: Not a real thing but you want to read about it anyhow

I've completed my first draft on the status of the 'Internet assassination' urban legend.

I'd appreciate any feedback people have, if people could give a detailed break down on what happened around the disappearing Ulbricht murder charges that'd be good too.

It almost certainly is not a myth. It just isnt for sale on the darknetmartkets, becasue then the hitman would only get contacted by the fbi, and set up to get caught. People probably use the internet all the time to coordinate assassinations.

The prediction site has apparently not paid out yet. However, does it still hold the money? Because if it does then it may well be the real thing rather than a scam. Or maybe it will run off with the money the first time there's a winner.

He argued an ever present threat of assassination could encourage
accountability among politicians and lawmakers.

Interesting idea, but probably not. If this were some kind of cyber-punk comic book it would definitely work tho

EDIT: Oh wait I forgot DNM is a cyber-punk novel of sorts in a way I guess
