Establishing a customer base

I'm wondering, hypothetically of course, what it takes to get a foot in the door with gaining customer recognition?

For example, are sample packs quintessential to starting up?

Any pointers are welcome. Have a good one guys, be safe!

Edit: Thank all of you for the advice.

I honestly don't think samples are a good idea. If you're a new vendor it's obviously just gonna take patience to build your customer base. As long as you deliver quality product GOOD STEALTH and just be nice, then just be patient and you'll be good

EDIT: just be honest, if you can't actually ship things the same day you mark shipped then just say that. I personally wouldn't mind if I already knew that was the case cuz I would know what to expect, and as long as you deliver good product with good stealth of course then if you're patient you will definitely build a good loyal customer base

Sample packs are always a good way to get people talking about you and coming back if they are satisfied. Throw in some good stealth and shipping time.

Samples, sure.

Community engagement is also an important aspect of marketing.

You gotta know the "where" and "who" takes what kind of drugs. "When" isn't always important because fiends show up everyday. For instance; an avid molly and coke user will be at festivals and clubs on a weekly basis. A smoker you could find at a skate park. The average bartard will usually be associated with the top three. Almost all of these use alcohol so social settings such as partys is a good foot in the door.
