Received a yellow "pick up at post office" slip

Could this ever indicate something bad? I order a lot of things through amazon as well, and generally you never have to sign for those. I keep track of the packages I have in transit and it's like 3 amazon items and then my pack. But I don't know why I would get a slip for neither the pack nor the amazon items, so I'm a little thrown off.

The tracking info on the slip shows strange things. First it originated from my own city, and secondly it's first scan is "acceptance" which I've never seen before.

Can anyone shed some light on my situation?

Edit: Guys I guess this was just a classic case of pack paranoia. My pack arrived just fine today under a different tracking number. I still have no idea what is up with the slip but il check it out tomorrow and let you guys know if there's any interest. Thanks for all the insight though on tracking details!

So, the vendor is local to you? Have you ordered from the vendor before?

As for "Acceptance" being the first scan, that is what it always is when I ship. I send out legit paperwork a couple times a month via express and it always shows the first scan as 'acceptance'.

It happens. I get slips for packs once in a while. My PO Box half the time they leave me a slip even though I have the biggest available. Go get it. You're fine.

Why the weird tracking? Bc it's not necessarily reliable. I've had packs not update shit. Acceptance is a valid tracking. Just means it was dropped or postage was paid for. Usually the first stage of a pack. I've seen acceptance almost all the time with a particular vendor.

It means it was too big to fit in your box

Just pick up your packages, if LE wanted you they would just come to your house. Not try and set up some sting operation at the post office.

Could you have gotten some kind of traffic ticket? Or anything from the court house of your local city? Is it marked as parcel or letter ?

This has never happened before? Even for large packages? Then definitely don't go pick it up yourself. Also, these are very weird comments telling you to do something not normal for what should be a normal post delivery.

Are you in the USA?

I am, and usually if i order a package which requires a signature, if my drop house resident isn't there and they don't have someone there to sign for them, then a similar slip gets left (they're a different color here). I've had to take my drop house resident to the post office like at least 5 or 6 times to have them sign for the pack. It's not necessarilly indicative of CD-fuckery, but i have heard of LE using PO slips as a way of setting up a CD.

Just sign for it and be ready to act like you're confused about what it is. Prepare to deny deny deny. Reserve your right to remain silent if shit goes down. Innocent until proven guilty, etc.

I get that stuff pretty often, when the vendor sends something that requires signature and i am not home(Europe)

I had this exact problem with a pack minus the pick up slip. Sometimes packs are not scanned at their origin and their acceptance scan does not happen until they process in their destination city. Who's the vendor?

You are lucky that you had it sent to your house and not a PO box (hard bit of plausable denability.) You could honestly go up there and tell them that you got a slip and need to pick up a package. If they ask you to sign, you know the drill homie. Maybe you were just looking for that extra Amazon package!

Just do not sign.
