Haven't disputed before, is it worth it here?

I made an order a while back and it never came in. Told the vendor I'd be disputing it before it autofinalized and got a tracking number of a package that was shipped today. USPS doesn't show the delivery address, though, so for all I know it's not even headed in my direction.

I've got most of today to decide on whether to dispute and the package's delivery date is Saturday. Is there a way to postpone autofinalize a few days on AlphaBay instead of just going all the way to dispute?

Dispute but mention that it's only to extend auto-finalize date

Disputing the order is the right course of action in this situation. You can still finalize the order after opening a dispute.

Considering how long the vendor has been dragging his feet sending you your pack, I think you would be justified in disputing it in order to extend the auto-finalize date. Just disputing an order doesn't cause a black mark against the vendor or leave negative feedback, it just buys you a bit more time until things work out. What if the vendor sent you tracking for a bogus shipment to the same city as yours? It's happened before.

Well you can dispute it, or just let it finalize and leave honest feedback right now. If you left feedback right now, it would be negative feedback (hopefully), considering you ordered drugs and all you got was a shitty tracking number. Personally I always dispute because I think it's fairer to the Vendor, don't want to leave them negative feedback and then get the product a few days later.
