Truffle Advice

So, I had purchased some truffles of the Markets around 4 months ago. The package came vacuum sealed and has not bee tampered with so is still 100% sealed.

My question is will these still be safe to eat or should I get rid and buy some more? They have been kept out of direct sunlight in a draw in temps around 10 degrees celsius /50 fahrenheit

Any info on this would be great

Thanks in advance

Over the teeth, past the gums, look out stomach, here they come.

As long as they don't have any visible signs of damage (such as mold) you should be good to consume them. They may've lost SOME potency, but not enough that you would even really notice.

They should be safe to eat, but if you don't trust them, send them to me.

should be fine if dried properly. mold or condensation then no

unless there was moisture and they rotted, yes.

Yes, I should think so.

they have naturally low moisture levels. Shrooms are only illegal in the UK if they have been dried. Philosopher's stones or truffles get around that.

They are slightly more giggly and energetic than "normal" psilocybe mushrooms.
