SEIZED SITE ADMINS: The Tor devs need your logs, even old ones! Figuring out how to stop this attack from happening again...

https://www.reddit.com/r/netsec/comments/2lqw6o/tordev_logs_of_compromised_tor_site_released/

There's currently a discussion on the tor-dev mailing list with nachash (of doxbin) to try and isolate just what form(s) the LE attacks took. They desperately want MOAR LOGS to look through, even older ones, because it seems like some DoS-type traffic from the past months may have been related.

EDIT: of course you should grep around in them thoroughly and redact all kinds of stuff.

If anyone here knows how to get in touch with any admins of any Onymous-seized sites, please let them know to reach out!

might have a hard time convincing any DNM owner to release the logs... admire the balls on doxbin though, they even reseized their onion LOL

Logs would have to sanitized/redacted pretty hard if they were to be released. But I agree, this op has given me a tingly sense about Tor. Feds are obviously holding something back (hell, they've blatantly hinted about it) and we need to figure out if Tor is broken and we need to migrate or if it can be fixed. As far as we know missy76 of Cloud9 got out and is still going, she's got an account here. Might be a good starting point.

This will do nothing. The US government created Tor.

As of 2012, 80% of The Tor Project's $2M annual budget came from the United States government
