If your address is flagged, are subsequent addresses flagged also?

Scenario:

Now it seems like with perfect vigilance they'd check up on stuff like this, but they're people, and I'm finding it hard to believe that they'd monitor new addresses for everyone who lived at a previously marked address.

Of course, I could be wrong. Does anyone know if they continue to monitor new addresses from people who lived at flagged addresses?

How do you know the marked your address?

How does one find out that their address has been flagged?

There is no evidence that they flag addresses, there is none to the contrary either.

I find it hard to believe that they would flag your address unless you were under direct investigation. Which means they'd probably monitor any address that you receive mail at, if you were under investigation.

Around two years ago I opened a PO box at USPS, and had several packages sent in quick succession to the box. Mostly hard drugs, all illegal. Turns out the guy that sets up the PO boxes was out of town? So my PO box wasn't set up for a week and a half after I opened it. I never received any of my packages, they were all returned to sender.

I never went to this location again and happened to move 1000 miles away a few weeks later (unrelated but still helpful) I have since received many packages at my new address. I'm pretty certain there isn't a federal database of flagged addresses, yet at least. It never hurts to be paranoid, though.

Po box should be fine.

If you used your real name, then there's a good chance you're on a list now.

Another reason to use a fake name.

Other than that, they probably don't even know about the PO box.
