The Fork in the Road for Vendors

I don't know what's happening with abraxas. I stopped paying attention after a day or two. I'll check it once at night to see if it has returned. Hoping to be able to reach the coins that were on site and in escrow. The last withdraw didn't come through. Maybe its all money lost.

What I do have is a lot of drugs, and enough BTC to take a small vacation. What would you choose? Take a little time off, or find a new home?

This darknet thing is more trouble than its worth sometimes.

I told myself not to vend again in the fall. That didn't work out, abraxas is off with some coins playing craps behind a dumpster.

Maybe back to direct deal. Who knows. Other Vendors, what are your plans with Abraxas down for 4(?) days? I can't make up my mind.

In all things, moderation is key. Perhaps this is an opportunity for some well-deserved rest.

In bed.

Just do direct deals especially if you already have a good client base

I don't think they're exit scamming. They refunded an entire order for me the day before they went offline. This was around 2gs.

I'd join alpha bay or nucleus but charge a premium to buy from there while making it clear they can easily just click and go to your own personal website or direct deal.

Just join Outlaw. It features multi sig and is fast. We paid our vendor fee on Abraxas the day before it went down and had to switch. Vending fee on outlaw is monthly and is around .08btc. Only issue with outlaw is that it has a low user base but buyers go to vendors so the more of us switch to multisig there, the better off we all are as a community. So far we have to agree it's more trouble than it's worth but clearly you come back so you may not believe that entirely. Our issue is just bad timing. Outlaw has been around since 2013, has multi sig and for vendors is intuitive and straightforward. Buyers just have to pay normally to use multi sig. Only downside... it's not the best looking but one you get familiar it is great. If more of us used this we wouldn't have to continue blindly trusting markets! Set up your accounts people.

If the darknet is more trouble than its worth, stop vending. There is no other point. If vendors continue to use market platforms, it must be on a multi-sig compatible market. Markets will continue to dissappear, keep your coins safe.

Markets going down doesn't effect my business except for losing the money in escrow. 99% of my customers are direct deal. If you have a flawless reputation and consistently provide good quality and fast shipping your customers are going to prefer dealing directly because they get real tired of losing their money. Plus it's a great feeling when your customers tell you they trust you more than they trust the markets.
