Thoughts on OpenBazaar/Rawflood etc. Listings on the REGULAR WEB and not the dark web??

Hey all. As many of you know, Open Bazaar beta has been released and the full release is coming soon. For those of you that don't know what OB is, it is a decentralized market place that shares a lot of similar technology with Bitcoin/Blockchain tech. This is really exciting for a lot of us because Open Bazaar can never be taken down, whether that is because of government organizations, owners running off with the bitcoin, etc.

My question is in regards to sites such as Rawflood whom are indexing Open Bazaar so that the marketplace can be accessed without downloading the OB client. Is it safe to buy from sites like this? It seems that you would technically still be buying through OB but using the site as an intermediary to do so? Can you be traced since it's not on tor?

This is a huge change for DNM, we're actually going to have a market that is there to stay. I just want to know if you all think this iss safe.

I mean this is all fantastic, but that could easily mean more crackdowns on things like mail. Even if it means changing our current privacy laws. (Like saying certain packs weighing >x can be more heavily scrutinized)

I love the idea myself, still have to worry about vendor trust, but ive been and will continue to carefully check it out :)

Small note, any update or response from u/Pelican_Vendor

I'm personally skeptical when it comes to markets/malls relying on block-chain technology. As if world-visible digital currency transactions weren't concerning enough....

Anyway... At least I know there's a 100% decentralized and stealth (designed to work on Tor only) solution in the making as we speak.

We shall see what the future holds...

Requires javascript to see anything @ rawflood. :( That's a security risk and totally unnecessary. I'm not against the idea of RawFlood though.

It's not hard downloading the OB client/server.

Rawflood is useless in my opinion.
