Hey guys. Would you recommend storing passwords on a piece of paper and just typing them in each time, or storing them all in a list (without a label of what they are for) in a text file with PGP encryption.
[OPSEC/Computer] Typing passwords or storing in PGP encrypted text file
Hey guys. Would you recommend storing passwords on a piece of paper and just typing them in each time, or storing them all in a list (without a label of what they are for) in a text file with PGP encryption.

Put them in an encrypted file and keep a backup somewhere as well in case something happens.

I have all my passwords pgp text encrypted and the pgp private keys are encryped on a vergacrypt hidden partition. Also theres a password on the pgp key so no one can use it unless they have that password.

Might be a bit oldschool but I can recommand to just encrypt them on some piece of paper like an address book or cookbook. Make it look like it belongs there.
Doesn't have to be a ingenious encryption, the NSA might be able to make 3 trillion guesses per second making PGP encryption trivial, but with all that hightech stuff they forgot to do basic detective work...
