Dream - "You need a minimum deposit of 0.001 BTC in order to send messages. " WTF?

So I was having issues earlier sending messages to people, I got an error that said something like, Message limit exceeded, try again in 1 hour. But I waited several hours and it still doesn't work. It happened on my 1st message try too, I wasn't sending lots of messages..

But now I went to look at vendor accounts I've never messaged before and it says I have to have 0.001 BTC .. anyone else getting this message? Either this is a way to prevent phishing or a shady as fuck way to get people to deposit lots of money for no reason?

Also im sure vendors wont like this.. what if someone just has a question but doesn't want to buy? This "feature" is stupid as hell

edit: the message went away and I can now send messages..however I did do the deposit of 0.001 BTC so not sure if it's because of that even though it's still pending confirmations.. there is however a reference to this in the dream forum..I think something is being updated right now because the other dream mirrors just went offline

EDIT 2: tried a different account...its still there https://anonimage.net/image/sP89XRT98T

makes sense, stops spammers

so LE doesn't waste their time reading all the messages of accounts who do not spend money.

IE: smart ppl might only communicate with non monetary accounts with vendors in order to prevent sales from being linked directly to user sending/receiving messages.

Investigators spend a lot of hard painstaking work reading all your messages. They don't wanna waste their time on dead accounts

I just sent a message to a new vendor and a previous vendor, not sure what error you are getting. Possibly not on the right dream URL?

Prolly to keep phishing messages out and a damn good move. Dream is flooded with users and still going strong. I had some listings on a day after I forgot to remove them and got over 40 orders lol. Now im running for a reup and send them out

This would be easy to prove with a simple screenshot.....I'm sure you can provide us with one.

Had this message earlier, but now it's back to normal. Really strange.

Your trying to message debuyerking? I'm on 36 hours after he accepted my order and still no sling account. Netflix is getting old I need some sling. Ya that shits gay as aids needing coin in your account to send a message.

of all the problems i have with what dream does this is not one

I am a buyer. I just messaged a vendor on Dream, and I have less than $1 in my account (though I have between $80 and $110 in escrow).

So if need to msging a vendor i've to pay, then to buy drugs is free ??

EDIT 2: tried a different account...its still there https://anonimage.net/image/sP89XRT98T

Coming back seriously, I also got the same pop-up message

EDIT: now this "new" feature is disappered, no coin is required 4 msgs
