I've been waiting a while to post this review! I'm glad to say everything went perfectly. For those of you who don't know, Illadelph offers a similar service to LivingLarge. Cheap, non-carded travel bookings at a fraction of the cost!
I booked a trip to San Francisco about a month ago with Illadelph on Agora. I planned my trip out on Expedia and forwarded him the all the flight and hotel information on XMPP chat. For a grand total of $380 I got TWO roundtrip tickets from NY to SF and 3 nights in a king suite at the Ritz Carlton San Francisco. Yes you read that right. I paid three hundred eighty fucking dollars for two roundtrip tickets and 3 nights in a fucking ritz fucking carlton motherfucking luxury ass hotel in fucking downtown San Francisco!!! Holy shit!!!
Normally, roundtrip tickets are $400 and the ritz carlton costs about $700/night. So I would've paid a little under $3000 if I purchased this myself. Wow, suddenly traveling is so much more fun!
Anyways, back to the review... So I gave him the flight and hotel info over chat and then it took him about 1 hr to book everything and send me the flight and hotel confirmation numbers. Everything looked legit so I finalized for him.
Fast forward about a month and I'm at JFK at the United check-in kiosk. I print out my tickets, checkin some bags, go through security, and board the plane. No problems at all. I even used my credit card to pay for the check-in bags. I landed in San Francisco and head over to the Ritz Carlton. I give them my name and my credit card and they check me in and give me the keys to my room. Then I went on vacation as usual and returned home with no problems.
I had absolutely no trouble or problems at any point of my vacation. Thanks to Illadelph I'm going to be traveling a lot more :)
Do you honestly think a non-carded ticket can be handed over to you within a hour? When you use the card through the travel agency or airline, they give the confirmation within 10-30 minutes. Gift cards are no different.
It's so terribly lame that he also copy parts of our introduction.
I also suggest you read up on the after effects on tickets that has been carded.
