Should I Be Concerned?

Over the past week, I have ordered around 10-15 packages with USPS. About half the packages are legal, and the rest are not. My biggest concern is every package is being delivered to one address and coming from California (one international). I cleaned the address, although I'm sure if I was raided, they'd find something. I have to stay at the place until Sunday, but am going to stay at a friend's house all next week.

I know what I did was stupid, but it's already done and I have thousands coming in. Does USPS (also local sorting center) get suspicious when there are over a dozen packages coming in from a state like Cali within a few days? My plan is to just drive the somewhat long distance from the friend's apartment every night and grab the packages.

To add to the paranoia, I'm worried about what my USPS driver's going to think when there's nobody home for a week. He drops off at my door and I've talked to him a few times. After a day or two, I really think he'll assume I'm just on vacation and someone's stealing the packages(not a good neighborhood), then start leaving them at the post office.

I never worry about receiving packs, but I've never had so many from one location in a week. I guess this is really a pointless post because if my mailman keeps the packs at the post office, I have to pick them up. Can't lose thousands from worrying.

You already pushed the buy button. You jumped off the cliff and know you are looking back up at us.
I wouldn't do anything different, if I talked to the mailman, that's what I would do. Tell him you are celebrating something, you got a bonus at work, you are getting engaged. Whatever.

He doesn't know if you're home at night or not, and he doesn't give a shit because when he drops his bag off he clocks out. When I got back from basic training, and after every windfall of money from the army I've bought all the stuff I had needed for the last two years and never had the scratch for. People all over the country have legitimate reasons for what you're doing like starting a small business or being serious hobbyists. Just relax and after this batch lay low a minute.

The answer to these questions is always "No".

You are allowed to receive unlimited mail, from any state. USPS aren't gossiping about your mail, or the mail of any of the other 200 million recipients.

Who cares what your mailman thinks? He doesn't have powers of search or arrest.

He doesn't even THINK.

Dont smoke meth and you wont have this problem

You will be fine man. Unless you have received a love letter your address doesn't have any flags and isn't on a watchlist. Meaning that nobody is watching packages going to your address, so take a hit of some good indica and chill out.

/u/vendor_BBMC should be able to help here.

Worst thing you can do is act sketchy. Blend into the norm, people get multiple packages delivered all of the time. It's a birthday, a graduation, a religious holiday, a family member has passed away. There's a long grocery list of possibilities somebody would go down before that's what they would suspect. That being said in the future I'd approach it as though that location has been burned. Other than that keep your head low, make every effort to avoid any question(s) which may be asked of you and move it as soon as you get it.

[2 Points] None:

Dude, chill. Some people have 20, 30, 40 packages coming every week. If you act all sketchy they are more likely to think you are sketchy. Just act normal. Collect your packages and try not to worry.

You already bought them and they are already on their way. LE isn't going to just give up and not bust you because you are staying with your friend.

Guys, he isn't home. Let's head back to the station this case is a dead end.

Not gonna happen. If they want to arrest you for this they will arrest you whether it's now, next week or next month. So just chill and hope for the best.

Personally I always leave a note with my signature on it telling them to drop it off in the carport on the side. (even if im home) You could always tell them to just leave it at the front of the house too if carport/garage is not applicable. 99.9% of the time they will do it, postal workers are just regular dudes like you and me bro. They come and drink at my bar all the time actually. I can tell you right now they don't give a fuck about if they actually get a signature. Just write a note saying that you've popped out for a few minutes to get grocerys or that you don't want to be at the house because the packages he's delivering have meth in them. I bet he'd still leave them there.

Don't answer unasked questions. It's just your paranoia speaking. Lots of people get lots of packages. Nobody cares.

yeah, youre in the paranoid camp. maybe add a little tinfoil to your hat and you will see it the the others are.

as far as USPS is concerened, theu might just think youve been doing some shopping Ebay.

If your town is pretty large (like several POs) then even less chance as that likely means they're just there to sort mail, sort it fast because lots live there, and go home.

short of crack, or a syringe, sticking out of your package, they prob wont even notice multiple CA return address.

as an aside, you should go into your PO and have your mail held for that week. I know you want your sit shit ASAP, but you also said it's a really long drive. It would suck to get back to your place and just have "Sorry we missed you" slips.

And a good, incidental bonus is that you make your mail carrier happier so he doesn't have lug your 5keys of heroins and cocaines around.

A happy mail carrier is always a good thing.
