Business is slow since Agora and Abraxas are gone. Nothing comparable

I was so busy every day getting orders out I barely got to do anything and I'd be working on the next order. Now being on alpha and nuc is pretty slow. Alpha isn't too bad but I literally have been on nuc for over a week and haven't even gotten a single order. When will a good/new market come?!

A lot of people are burnt and licking their wounds right now.

I sure as hell won't purchase anything through a market with central escrow anymore, nor will I ever deposit anything anywhere I can't control my own money.

This makes finding new vendors tough, right now Gammagoblin gets all my business, he's got his own private site and no escrow bullshit, I feel like more vendors should be getting their own sites up and running.

East India Company is fucking amazing, the chat, the support, the filters, the multisig.

The Grand Wizard feels your pain. In the past when a market went down we would see spikes in business at our other shops: that hasn't happened yet this time. We were doing about 65% of our business through Abraxas and 35% AlphaBay. Business has stayed pretty constant at AlphaBay but that still means we're taking a huge hit in the wallet. We're hoping interest in EIC picks up -- it's one of the most promising markets we've ever been on -- and we've got our shingle out on Hansa. Let's hope things pick up in time for the holiday season or it's going to be a grim Chanukah for the Wiz's nephews and nieces.

Get on East India Company. That's a pretty good market that I use.

It's going to take some time but EIC will blow up, just PLEASE USE MILTI-SIG EVERYONE. There is NO excuse to be FE only as a vendor anymore and no excuse to be using legacy "escrow" as a buyer anymore.

If we can accomplish this the DNM scene will be stronger than it has been since SR1 in a few months/years.

Dream seems nice. I like it.

GRAMS/HELIX Promote yourself

Lion, vendors and users alike both lost some coin during these market disappearences. A vendor will probably be able to snap back into action sooner than a user who lost some money.

Once the debris settles, things will pick up

I'm a bit out of the loop, what happened to them?

[1 Points] TheAgoraProphet:

It's tough to know which markets to trust right now, hence low sales volume. I'll remember you, though - those grey tops seem like a great deal.

[1 Points] NoWayGringo:

I thought everyone would jump to AlphaBay to be honest given the fickle nature of this scene, people just want convenience and a market with plenty of listings. There are plenty of other markets worth a look, East India Company, Hansa, Dream but they all seem deserted in comparison to Agora.

Hope business picks up for you soon fella, hang in there!

[1 Points] Selectivescammer1:

This whole recent episode on DNM shows us the value of the honest and competent people running a market. Seems we are flooded with dishonest theives looking to make a quick buck. That's why Agora was so brilliant, honest and competent, we need more people like them.

[1 Points] Sysol:

East India Company! They have the best user experience and the most modern technologies (timelocked multisig, on-site chat etc)
