Best drug to combat chronic fatigue from MS?

I have early-stage multiple sclerosis and right now one of my main symptoms is extreme chronic fatigue, to the point that I sleep 12-14 hours a day on the average (20 on the weekends.) Three times now I have slept through my alarms, I have three of them, ringing for more than an hour and been late for work. My employer is aware of my condition, which is medically diagnosed and documented, but I recently got a bad written evaluation for excessive absences (2 to 3 days a month) and for "underperforming" when I am present. I'm going to lose my job if I get another bad evaluation and if I lose my job, I lose my insurance and probably my house and everything else.

I need a drug that will keep me awake and keep me productive whether my body wants to or not. From what I gather, you can get anything on the dark net. I'm hoping for advice on what to get. I don't know anything about recreational drugs in general, I just know I have gone to both my regular doctor and my specialist and begged them for help and they both just tell me "that's the way it is, it's only going to get worse" when I ask for something to help me stay awake so I can go to work and do my job properly. Since they won't help I'm desperate for other solutions. Does meth keep you awake and make you productive? It looks like it from tv. Speed? Are there different types of speed? I saw something about "crank", would that do it? How much do people take? I don't know where to start even, but I know I'm going to lose my job in a few months if I can't get this figured out. I don't want to get high as such, I just have to stay awake and stay competent for at least eight hours a day. Please, any advice from people who know more than me is welcome, I'm terrified of losing my job and it's going to happen if I can't fix this. My company already wants to get rid of me for having a chronic illness.

Speed seems a little to excessive right off the bat. Have you tried lighter stuff.. such as modafinil?

[4 Points] None:

Low dose adderall XR may work. 10mg maybe.

Shit man sorry your doctors are treating you that way. They are suppose to help you and yet they're telling you that's just the way it is? I would change docs and if that doesn't work Adderall, Vyvanse, and modafinil/Provigil is your best options IMO. Stay the fuck away from meth! It could make your condition much worse. I would use google and do more research in the meantime here's this.

Like others have side, try modafinil, although I'd actually recommend armodafinil. Modafinil in its various forms is a "wakefulness promoting agent" largely prescribed for narcolepsy and used off-label to boost productivity, especially in boosting productivity through reducing sleep. r/afinil has some good information.

Best of luck to you! I hope you don't lose your job. Really sucks you're getting that shit. I might even suggest bringing up Modafinil with your doctor/s, but they don't really sound too helpful.

Modafinil and adderall both seem like obvious choices. If you're struggling with fatigue (so am I, but my dr hasn't been able to find any source for it) and have a valid claim (obv you do), you should be able to get these from your dr rather than the DNM. Cheaper, safer, easier. The few times I've had adderall it was fucking amazing how alert I felt, I too hope to get it legally, it's stupid expensive on the markets.

Vyvanse is your answer. ADHD medication, like Adderall but you can multitask and it's extended release lasting about 12 hours

Thank you for all of the good answers. I got more help and info here than I've ever got from my damned doctors. If I can find a drug that eases up on the fatigue and gets me even a few more years of earning income, it will make a big difference in the long run. I don't want to lose my house.

I personally tried Amantadine which works but gave me nightmares but Ritalin 5mg supresses all my symptoms for about 5 hours, so it needs to be taken twice a day. It really helped me for the few times I have tried it and I would definetely use it in a work place if I needed to. I kind of feel "new" when I take it.
