Who should be held liable if a pack doesn't arrive? Could the buyer really be seen as partially responsible?

I know this may differ from vendor to vender, but is there sort of a general consensus about who would/should be held liable if a pack doesn't arrive? Would a pack not arriving generally mean that it was confiscated by LE or the post office? I can't think of another reason it would just never arrive other than the vendor never sending it. Wouldn't in both of those scenarios, the vendor should be wholly at fault due to either a lapse in their stealth causing it to get noticed or their negligence in sending the item?

I only ask this because I've had my first instance of something not arriving at all and the vendor only gave me half of my money back which seems a little ridiculous to me. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't see how I, after waiting this whole time and literally having nothing to do with the process post sending my money, could be held 50% at fault for not receiving my package. Isn't it literally the vendor's job to safely get the order to me whenever I pay him? I feel like he failed to complete his part of the deal and is just holding the money just because there's no way for me to get it back.

Btw the vendor was MartyMcHigh on Nucleus, who literally called me 'an idiot' for thinking the way that I do and being upset over the situation. But I've already written my review on his page so that's not really necessary here.

Edit: I seem to be making a bad impression on people with this post. I think I'm coming off as entitled, when I truly don't mean to. I genuinely want to know what people think about my particular situation and similar situations.

[4 Points] None:

All depends on the vendors policy. Don't like their policy, don't order. If they say they are not responsible for lost packages then they are not going to accept responsibility. Not too hard here.

Yes, check the specific vendors profile page. They usually have a section about what happens if the goods do not arrive and how to proceed.

This could be the case, there are also 100's of other reasons your pack could not show up / show up late. a few examples are:

Wouldn't in both of those scenarios, the vendor should be wholly at fault due to either a lapse in their stealth causing it to get noticed or their negligence in sending the item?

Responsibility for a pack not showing up could be either parties fault or niether. In the case of LE getting the pack, unforunetly, getting things caught is part of the game and it's a risk both the vendor and buyer take. Neither can be responsible here and it's a 50/50 split or 50% riship / refund.

In other cases the buyer provided shipping details that ended the packag up in the dead mail bin and then it is the buyers fault. No reship or refund in this case.

If the vendor acidently put the wrong zipcode on your pack that is clearly their fault. 100% reship or refund.

It is really a case by case basis and depends on what happens.

Isn't it literally the vendor's job to safely get the order to me whenever I pay him?

Not quite. It's the vendors job to do his best on stealth and send the pack out to you. Once he puts it in the postal system it is also out of his hands, just like it was out of yours after you sent the money. He can only be held responsible for things that clearly were his fault. (I.E miswriting name or address on pack, sending late, sending the wrong items, etc)

who literally called me 'an idiot' for thinking the way that I do and being upset over the situation.

Probably not the best way for him to handle customer service but you are a little on the wrong side here. Unfourtunetly shipping mis-haps do happen and once the vendor puts the pack in mail he has as much control over it as you do. Shipping problems are part of the game and a risk both sides take, if you don't like it, you might have to find a different way to get your drugs.

Vendors usually have CLEAR instructions on how to format your address for them. Most vendors state if you do not follow that exact format and use a real name / address you forfit any chance of a reship or refund.

It would depend. Like if a buyer got their address wrong then it would be on them. Each situation is unique.

Vendors deal with being scammed a lot. It is quite common for someone to claim they didn't receive their package so they can get a discount or a reship and/or refund.

Sometimes even other vendors have been caught doing this and writing bad reviews about competing vendors to make it harder to compete.

You said vendors scamming and seizures are the only way a pack won't arrive, but what about buyer making a mistake on their address, vendor making a mistake on the address, buyer using a burnt address, buyer using a ridiculous pseudonym, buyers co-inhabitants steal the package, someone in the postal journey steals the package, buyer is lying, package is posted in a mailbox which is subsequently blown up with fireworks on NYE.

None of which are provable after the fact, buyers who don't get packages always blame the vendor.

Used Marty plenty of times and has always game through for me, One of the best in the game!

[1 Points] GC1872:

The fact you are the only person to ever give Marty a bad review kind of shows you are being a dick, Should change the 2 rating to a 3 atleast after the fact the vendor offered a 75% reship. Feedback is very harsh considering he has great stealth and 200+ 5 star orders and not one 1 star rating.
