My ISP is starting to block Tor Messenger.

I couldn't even connect to otr.im using standard obfs. It took forever to initialize the stream. My ISP got merged with someone else; so I decided to use obfs4 and it works flawlessly.

Tor Browser works just fine which I find it very odd.

Anyone using Tor Messenger? Try connecting using 5rgdtlawqkcplz75 dot onion. You will be prompted with a security exception - just add it.

Now I can use it just fine. FYI. I can't name my ISP for opsec reason.

EDIT: to MOD - no, I am not on Comcast. LOL!

EDIT: If I recall correctly... riseup.net is already compromised by the FED, no?

EDIT: Now it seems to be working (otr.im onion version, except riseup.net).

Yeah this makes no sense. You should be using obfs4 regardless but why don't you try with nothing at all and see what happens. I really don't think an ISP would be able to differentiate between tor messenger and regular tor use. There's something else up.
