Best and Most Secure VPN Service(s)?

After reading through about what some had to say pertaining to the most secure VPNs in this subreddit (would link to some areas, though don't have them at the moment and honestly don't feel like searching for them), what is in your opinion the "best" VPN that is completely "anonymous"?

I like PIA, and haven't had any trouble with them, though a user said they weren't secure anymore since they're based in the US (the reason why is because of some (possibly updated) act passed by Obama). Now what I don't get is well sure that could be true, where we do the whole spiel that PIA may have to hand over crucial and incriminating information relating to their customers if subpoenaed, blah blah blah, though how can this be the case when they don't keep any logs?

Is there something I'm missing? Because even if they were approached with a subpoena, they couldn't give any useful information since all of their customers' activity connected to the specific VPN server point (in question) wouldn't have any saved or valuable data.

Anyway, that's just my two cents. I would really like to know if I totally skipped over something though, and what others have to say on their favorite VPN services.

I prefer using tails instead of a vpn to be honest

Just ask yourself this : do you trust your VPNprovider not to hand over anything they may or may not have if LE request it ? I would never trust a VPN based in the "five eyes" . I have used one in Russia before - bc they will never hand over anything to US LE .

It has been proven in court that PIA does not keep records. That was testified to by PIA under subpoena.

Mullvad for sure.

If you're using PIA, keep using it. Only one I'd even put up there with PIA would be AIRVPN
