Increasing concern about OPSEC

These past couple weeks I've been more aware about OPSEC and would like some input from you guys. Current set up is running Tor Browser Bundle straight from Windows 7 on one of two home broadband connections. I don't use TAILS. I buy bitcoins by cash deposit via localbitcoins. I don't tumble them. I've only made four small purchases in the last two months but soon need to make two more, again small quantities. I thought I was doing enough for just buying small amounts but I'm starting to feel uneasy about my set up now. Am I just being paranoid or I am considered low-hanging fruit?

You're fine. Low quantity envelope-sized purchases and you have nothing to be paranoid about.

do you encrypt your address? or are you a priv note kind of guy

I seriously recommend you tumble your coins. You lose a small amount but it can't be traced by to your bank account.

It is natural to worry a little bit more now and then when you make orders. I'm very confident in my routine and I will occasionally realize some "hole" in my plan and get to worrying.

Truthfully, there is no way to be 100% secure. But what you are saying you do is really fine. You're not at all low-hanging fruit; I wouldn't think that at all.

BTC is so, so difficult to trace that it's virtually impossible to be caught that way, even if you buy coins on Coinbase and send them directly to the market due to the anonymous nature of wallet addresses and the mechanisms that markets use to move coins around. Even if they could show that you sent coins to a market, it doesn't show what you did/bought, etc.

Not using TAILS only leaves a minimal trace on your computer if you're not using clearnet sites. Tor is really good at not leaving tracks. Even on your home broadband, it only shows you've accessed Tor, not the sites, and not what you've done on them.

It's good to be a little worried. Being too confident can cause issues. But you're not making a ton of purchases, your security is just fine for what you're doing. You really should be fine.
