I'm wondering how many of these users just buy Bitcoin and use it to buy drugs and how many of you actually are interested in Bitcoin/ are invested in it. I'm curious what the overlap is here.
Personally I do lots of trading. How about you guys?

I started mining so i could get "free" drugs. It wasn't the only reason, but I thought it was pretty awesome. Now adays the power bill is a bit too much to consider them free, but its still a fun hobby so I've kept at it. I don't really trade, but I'm still holding a good amount of coins from back when i started, and I buy more every now and then just to hold on to.

I trade a lot of coins in pretty high numbers. While I've definitely done some drugs I don't really anymore outside of the occasional bowl. I've never even and wouldn't use these markets. I'm really just here for the drama plus I learn a little about computer security and crypto in general when I visit.
Very fascinating sub here.

If I buy bitcoin and read about price may rise, then I'll hold off on DNM purchasing to see where it can take me short term. When I first started with bitcoin the price was 10 bucks. Man I wish I put away some btc..

I recently hadf a failry large order placed when BTC was @ $400. The vendor turned scammer and after about 3 weeks I was refunded. BTC at the point were valued $600 netting me close to $2,000 in profit just from that. I've decided to take that money and use it to trade. My total profity to date selling/buying with that as the intial investment is $952. The hours are hard to calculate as I'm constantly checking going rates. Pulling ads, enabling ads, cashing out, and buying and so forth. I've already been scammed once but I expect it in the type if payments I take.
All in all, I like it and will continue to do so.

I did. I originally found out about SR when BTC was around $8. I bought 100 btc and set that aside from my drug bitcoin. When it hit $400 I started selling it off, sold the last 10 btc from that when it was ~$520. I used that money to pay off my student loans. Now I just buy btc when I need it.

I play around. Buy/sell every couple weeks.
Bought 5 BTC @ $470, almost sold when it dipped to mid $500s but I'm debating to sell now or hang on. Sitting pretty at $600 :D
I have a good run this time but all together I'm probably only ahead a couple hundred dollars. I lose a lot more often than I gain, but my gains are usually pretty big.

This touchs on something I've been wondering about lately that I haven't been sure where/how to ask, but this seems appropriate. I feel like since the exchanges just have giant wallets, can't they be used as a tumbler for quicker access?
Edit: And to answer the initial question, I've traded actively a few different times, but basically.... hodl.

I hold some and spend some. I have faith that btc is going way up over time
I am a vendor and I hold 20% of my BTC as an investment.
