Was extremely careless. How can I be more secure?

With all of the news recently I've been getting really paranoid about how careless I've been when using markets. I would send my bitcoins directly from a multibit client on my regular PC directly to the marketplace and wouldn't tumble.

I've always used tails and used PGP encryption, I've just been using Multibit on my regular PC to send coins without tumbling. I will do anything that will help me stay safer now so I'm looking for any advice.

Am I really screwed? Should I delete my old wallet or what? I'll always tumble from now on but I just need to know what I can do now to not be screwed. Never had problems ordering always had successful purchases.

Thanks for any help guys.

Dude you use tails and PGP. You're sadly ahead of most people that order safety wise. Tumble from here on out and you'll be fine :)

I personally don't us TAILS but I do keep my PGP encrypted in a volume and the wallets for my BTC in that volume too. When I make a BTC purchase I send straight to my tumbling account, tumble and send that to one of my multibit wallets. The wallets are password protected, as is the volume. Once I've finished with the sum from the amount I originally purchased I delete that wallet and any data related to it from the volume and start a new wallet. That's my current method.

Unless you buy in bulk you're fine, the place where you bought your bitcoins should be your main security concern, they have your bank and address details.

Well it's too late now. It's on the block chain. Forever. That's why bitcoin sucks. I can't wait for the cryptonote coins to be used on markets.
But anyway, unless you are targeted in an investigation you shouldn't worry too much.
