Is Chicago Customs that bad at taking forever to release items? I'm importing from Canada which took no time from there but once it hit Chicago Ics it has not updated at all. Any one else experience this kind of hold up getting things from Canada?
Stuck at customs for week including Christmas

Yep a week is a normal wait for anything going through customs. Add the holiday season to this and expect wait times of 2-3 weeks.

Chicago ICS is worst than anything........... NYC takes a few hours to a few days max ... Chicago .... weeks

Chicago customs can be really bad. I just had a package take a few days over a month to reach me. That was coming from the EU and it passed through Chicago. I almost thought it was lost there for a little bit. Previous orders from the same country took less than 10 days before the holidays.

chicago has customs? what from container ships along lake michigan lol?
Customs takes forever. Remember, you are probably trying to get something through customs that they shouldn't let through customs. If they take their time and you get your pack it's better than the alternative.
