Why use BTC exclusively? After a good relationship is built, wouldnt it be easier to send actual physical gold or platinum/pallidium thereby eliminating the need to tumble coins and set off flags?
Why BTC and not gold

good relationship
You can't, and shouldn't trust anyone on here. Look at Quantik, the only reason he's not busted right now is because he was smart enough to not give his USA counterparts any information about his real identity.

Cash4Gold was scamming people and this was a registered business; what makes you think an underground would be better?

Because vendors are not going to give you their contact info.

I do not trust my buyers with a drop that would have to be frequented often for payment.
Gold is also difficult to break down into smaller denominations. So bitcoin it is.
If there was a way to email gold and print it out, I'd be all for it. I like gold more. However, I do not own a 3D printer.

Read up on e-gold on wiki, they tried this shit prior to bitcoin.

What's stopping the feds from establishing a "good relationship" with a vendor and then showing up at the address they're supposed to send gold to?

OP misworded it. He means lets send the vendors Reddit gold. Next time you order some express bars, make sure to gift the vendors Reddit account with gold! If you're a dirty gypsie and hate PayPal, just use Reddit Silver. The vendors won't mind.
I would rather spend 10 seconds tumbling coins than driving to the post office to mail some precious metals to some guy on the Internet.
