Unless specifically trained, no. Too many pharmas share ingredients it'd be a mess

Depends on if the dog is trained for them and how far you have em boofed.

No. they cant smell any type of pharmaceutical pills.

The answer is no, a dog won't be able to smell it. But that doesn't really mean anything. A good friend of mine is a very successful attorney (gotten people off for murder more than once) and I remember talking to him about probable cause before, specifically during the 2 cases he was defending me for DUI. He says it can be difficult because officers have a few ways they can get probable cause if they really want it. Enter narcotic dogs. He said he's never had a client with a case like it, but that he's heard from colleagues that officers will use a narcotic dog to get their probable cause by actually making the dog appear as if it alerted to the scent of something. These dogs are trained mostly in German so that criminals cannot order them to stop biting. Unless you are really fluent in German, you're not going to understand what the K9 office is saying to the dog. Typically, when a narcotic dog smells something suspicious, he is trained to sit down and look toward the K9 officer. It's not entirely out of the realm of possibility that the K9 officer also has a command to have the dog perform the same action, thus giving probable cause to search.
I don't really know how often this happens, but it does happen. I also don't know how successful attorneys are in telling a judge or prosecutor "I have reason to believe the K9 officer coerced the dog to alert to something."

They could be trained to do so, however it is extremely unlikely for you to encounter one specifically trained to sniff out alp.

No they are trained to smell for marijuana and cocaine mostly. You forget most of these people have never bought or sold drugs on the street.

you dont need to worry about dogs. you need to worry about body scanners

I would guess (Haven't done any searching) it would be like a cell phone sniffing dog. They'd have to be specifically looking for it and be trained. If it was just a random stop I'd think you'd be fine, I always use the lifesaver underwear.

/u/Tittyboi_3Chainz, we'll be able to better help you if you tell us why you think you'd be getting searched. Are you crossing a border? Boarding a plane? Going into some government building?

Had to revisit this when I saw this picture...goes well with the comment I posted on it lol.
Can you imagine how busy those dogs would be with all the people that hate flying who take xanax to get through the flight? Then there's just those who take em for other legit reasons or just fun.
