Alright guys, so not to long ago I submitted a post about having a package go missing that I ordered before the 4th of July. On the Thursday of that week to be exact. I ordered an Oz of a certain substance, from a very reputable vendor on Agora. I had this package delivered to my PO box, that has received 2 other drops with no problem. As well as plenty of other packages from Amazon. It has now been almost 4 weeks since the package has not shown up. With no love letter, and no knock on my door. So I worked something out with the vendor, and opened up a new PO box in a different part of the city, the 2nd PO box was opened at a mom and pop shop that actually signs for package themselves (which is great in my opinion).
Now recently, I put in an order for some earbuds with Amazon that was eligible for prime shipping to test everything out and start up a flow of mail. I was out and about running errands this morning when I got a call from the shop. It was a gentleman informing me that my package had come in, but it seemed as if had been tampered with, and that it look like it had been cut open with a pair of scissors. He told me what was inside, since it was visible, and it was obviously the earbuds. He asked me if he wanted me to go ahead and receive it, or to go and return to sender. There was nothing wrong with receiving it since it was only some earbuds, so I gave him the okay. Now here's the catch, while the package was in transit I told the vendor to go ahead with the reship, and gave him the new address.
So now I'm sitting here pondering what's going on. I'm figuring that someone at the sorting center saw my package and figured they knew what was inside because of the first package, and decided to steal it for themselves. But saw what was inside, and didn't even bother re sealing it. But anyways I figured you'd guys would like to know what the deal was.
P.S. The Amazon package came in a padded envelope.
P.S.S. I live in a fairly large city.
