is alpha bay exit scamming?

Today I logged in to make a deposit, saw that my account still had .0007 bitcoins from my last transaction. Nothing, of course.

I went and deposited 150$ of bitcoin in my account and suddenly my old balance was zeroed out (for no discernable reason) and my coins never showed despite over 50+ confirmations

I've heard of this happening to people so I went and logged a support ticket with the following: - The BTC address - The amount (in BTC) - The transaction ID

but the admin closed it out without doing anything. The only logical conclusions I can think of is that this admin hates doing these tickets and always closes them or they are just exit scamming and trying to keep people quiet.

I find it hard to believe they are exit scamming since it's the most 'reputable' DNM but I've been in the game long enough to know all of these markets inevitably get shut down or exit scam.

So that makes me think that I filled out the support ticket wrong..I sent .xx1 to the address with a fee making the actual amount received .xx0..should I put the total input or the input minus the fee in the support ticket?

There is a difference between reputable and being the largest market. Being the current largest market certainly doesnt mean its te most reputable market. That aside, as other people have mentioned, how sure are you that you were on the real site and not a phishing site. I had a friend loose a deposit back in the day by going to a phishing clone site for Agora i believe. He learned his lesson to never trust hidden wikis.

Did you have 2FA enabled? Did you get the proof of ownership of your wallet address (i.e. PGP proof that address is indeed a verified AlphaBay wallet) before depositing?

The only logical conclusions I can think of is that this admin hates doing these tickets and always closes them or they are just exit scamming and trying to keep people quiet.

There is another conclusion, but I am sure you don't want to hear it. It involves you falling for a phishing link and the admin closing the ticket because the wallet address you provided wasn't one of theirs.

Way to waste your time writing this up.

A mod probably just decided to take it. That's what I think happens when people's coins randomly disappear when they're not phished.
