[Cryptocurrency] Bitcoins not valuable enough anymore

Hey guys, please help a noob out. 2 days ago I bought 141$ worth of bitcoins to buy some stuff on agora. Now, after I have the money in my agora account my bitcoins are only worth 117$ and I can't afford to buy the stuff anymore because it costs 130$ What can I do? Do I just have to wait for the bitcoins to go up in value again?

Edit: I just saw there was a 11% in decrease of the value yesterday. Should I keep the bitcoins in my agora wallet or keep them in my localbitcoins.com one?

Why did you wait two days to make your purchase? Because of the volatility of BTC you really should try to get rid of them same day.

You need to learn to order faster.

Buy coins on LB > Transfer to wallet (blockchain.info or w/e) > Start order to lock in price > Transfer exact coins needed market (maybe an extra $10-$50 depending on the order size).

With blockchain.info you can send them again before they've even finished confirming as long as they don't detect a double spend. Also note that most markets seem to lock in the price when you start the ordering process, you then have about 1-2 hours to get the coins on there and finish the order. Evo is the faster with only requiring 2 confirmations while agora requires 6. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong)

Overall the time between completing the trade and finalizing your order shouldn't take longer then 3 hours.

For now just make up the difference and consider it a learning experience.

Buy coins, spend coins. Do not hold onto them.

Moral of the story only buy coins when you intend to order and add a bit onto it incase of fluctation.

If any left over donate to the tor project or red cross

Yeah but no one can tell you when that'll happen. Always buy more than you need in the future.

I have a bitcoin currency tracker on my phone. Lately when I'm bored wasting time I just watch it jump all over the place. I swear that it used to not make such drastic jumps so quick. I used to be able to buy them, wait all day then use them and it had maybe moved .30 on me. Now, you seriously have to act fast or wait it out. I keep wondering how low it will go. I know they used to be nothing and people who bought a couple hundred at a few cents were loaded, but i keep thinking it won't drop below 100. It's damn near like oil prices these days.

It's crazy and incredibly annoying. Always transfer a little more than you need to your DNM wallet to cover any variances is the best advice I can give.

because it costs 130$ What can I do?

Maybe buy 20$ more worth of BTC just incase it tanks more.
