[GeneralQuestions] Good drug to combat the amphetamine withdrawls, any suggestions?

I know, I know its just pain pills, but I'm pretty hooked on them since knee surgery. Do any of you gents know any good drugs to cut the withdrawls? Not trying to kick one habit for another, all answers are appreciated! (:

amphetamines are not pain pills

anyway, benzos smooth opiate/amph withdrawals quite nicely, just don't take too much

TAKE 15mg, wait 3hrs. if your w/ds arent better take another 15! TRUST ME. IT HELPS SO SO MUCH.

I would talk with your primary care physician about Suboxone or maybe Methadone clinic? I wish you the best fighting your addiction my friend.

Benzos can help ease the symptoms of withdrawal but benzo withdrawal makes opiod withdrawal look like a barrel of laughs so use sparingly and only for as long as you need.

Gabapentin which is used generally for nerve pain and as an anti-epileptic helped me a lot. It acts on many of the same receptors as opiods and smooths out the process of your brain "repairing" itself and learning again to function normally. However be aware long term use can produce withdrawal symptoms similar to benzo's.

As others have said, immodium. If nothing else it will assist with the diarrhoea.

I'm an advocate of withdrawal being done through tapering if possible with suboxone or maintenance management through your GP but I recognise that isn't possible for everyone. If it is possible for you - go that route. There's less suffering and misery involved.
