Sketchy USPS Note?

So I've ordered weed from this vendor multiple times without an issue. Package is left at my door/mailbox and I pick it up when I get home.

Today (27th) I get a pink USPS final notice redelivery slip claiming they've been trying to deliver this package since the 22nd although this is the first notice I've been given. The slip doesn't have the signature required box checked, so I'm not sure why they aren't just leaving it at the door/mailbox like all my previous orders.

My question is, to schedule redelivery at this point I will have to go to USPS.com, fill out my address info, and schedule a redelivery. Is this proof of package acceptance similar to a signature? They mention information entered is subject to their privacy code or something like that. I assume if I go to the USPS facility they wil require photo I.D. which is equivalent to signing for a package.

Also I found it a bit odd there was such a delay from the 22nd to now the 27th with no notices prior to this "final notice."

So looking for advice. Should I try for redelivery or is it safer to just refuse the package? Am I being paranoid or has anyone else experienced something similar to this?

You'll be fine checkin the redeliver box. Add a note for them to leave package on the porch. If you are paranoid then clean house beforehand. Don't answer the door if they knock. If by some chance it is a cd then your house will be clean and you play dumb about the package.

I wouldn't do it for a package that contained narcotics. No way, not worth it. Not unless you don't care about your future. Is it something that wouldn't fit in your mailbox? They sometimes bring packages to you if they are too big. I don't know, use your head. you know the situation the best.

Could be a new mailman who isn't used to just leaving packages on the porch.

I had a slip in my mailbox once that was also strangely filled out. I think it was because my mailman was just lazy and quickly scribbled any required fields. Well I went to the postoffice, showed them the note, and she went back and got my packages for me.

Turns out three orders didn't fit in my mailbox, and by chance they all arrived on the same day.

They'll want your signature in person for a CD, I have had to fill out the redelivery USPS webform for a purchase before and they left it at the door, which was what I requested in the 'notes' section of the form. I recommend you do the same. If it's a CD, they will not only knock on your door, they will bang on it for a good 15 minutes, walk around back or look through windows in any attempt they can to get your attention. If anything like that happens, refuse delivery.

In all likelihood, they'll just leave it, per your request.

Does the slip have a web address on it? www.redeliveryunit.com this is the site that the feds use to bust you... there may or may not be a 1-877 number on it..
