Vendor agreed refund, what do I do next?

Hi guys,

I am relatively new to using Dream Market, and after placing my first order the product arrived. I was suspicious immediately as it did not appear to be what I had ordered, so I acquired the relevant reagent test to determine the identity of the product. As expected the test confirmed the product was not what I had ordered, and so I messaged the vendor to inform him of the mistake. He replied asking for details of the order, which I confirmed, then there was no communication for a number of days, even after sending another message to discuss solutions. Yesterday I decided to open a dispute, which received a response from the vendor saying he'd give a 50% refund. I have replied saying I will accept this refund, but only to draw a line under the issue. As it stands I feel the ball is in his court, so what do I do next? I intend to wait for the refund to appear in my wallet before closing the dispute/finalising the order. Is this the right thing to do?

Apologies in advance if this sort of thing has been answered before. I'm a bit annoyed I got fucked about on my very first venture into the market, but I intend to explore further. As for the order; whether it was a genuine mistake, the guy doesn't know what he has, or an intentional mis-sell to a very young account, I guess I'll never know.. I have my doubts.

Wait for support to take care of it. They're slow sometimes, but they do get around to stuff. Agora, to my knowledge, was the only market that had the functionality whereby the vendors themselves could do partials.

You's a bitch. Name and shame. No one sends accidental bunk product lol. He's making money by just sending bunk product then doing 50% refunds to people.

Most people are probably eating his shit and thinking it's good shit because they don't know any better.
