(Suggestion)It's time to make pics with reviews mandatory

I remember this topic came up sometime a while ago and the community was torn apart it really felt like it was 50/50 so it was never implemented. Well... we are at very different times now, new markets, old vendors leaving and new ones joining, tons of exit/selective scamming due to market exit scams, etc.

From what I can tell almost every other major sub requires pictures (see r/xanaxcartel ). I don't see why the same standard shouldn't be put in place here. Everyone has a smart phone there's reason you can't snap a quick picture of whatever you ordered to go along with a review. I mean if you are taking the time to review something then you are pushing the vendors authenticity, what's more authentic than a picture?

Let's weed out any shills and provide quality reviews that even if the details are lacking it will be subsistuted with a picture.

EDIT: Everyone saying how vendors could just post pictures of their own product in the review, you are entirely correct. But there are a few reasons that would be a good thing, first it would deter even 1 out of 100 shills, next it would force that vendor to actually HAVE a product to sell. As it is vendors could pay the $200 vendor bond, buy a bunch from himself, make a bunch of reviews on here and make bank but all along have no product whatsoever. Its a stretch but believe me it happens.

Not to mention it would deter the malicious shill who is just a random joe coming here to try to fuck some people over for the fun of it.

Adding pictures wouldn't fix ALL of over problems but it would definitely be a step in the right direction.

It's called opsec.

Some people don't have the means or knowledge to take (and completely erase a picture with no trace), or upload one safely.

Pretty rude to force people into doing something that could fuck them over.

They are nice enough to do a review. Don't be dick

Also in these pictures of drugs, they must also be accompanied by a penis.

[11 Points] FreshestNuts:

Good idea, I only see shills posting reviews however. Unless the vendor is racking up fake reviews (like most of them), by offering 5$ sample packs for feedback or whatever ploy it is.

[4 Points] bodeineken:

make sure to remove exif data before uploading.

Whats stopping vendors from simply taking a pic of their own product? I dont really see a pic changing much in terms of combatting shills

[3 Points] TrueGodEater:

I dont understand. If im a vendor shilling my own ptoduct how does a picture solve anything? I can just take a pic of my stock.

It's definitely a good idea, and to take it one step further, perhaps require a reagent test pic as well showing both the substance in question and a sugar control test next to it. Just about everybody here has, at the very least, a bottle of marquis laying around (and if they don't, they should) and it wouldn't take hardly any extra effort to drop a chunk of a sugar cube on the plate and take a picture of all of it.

[1 Points] -Soul-Assassin-:

Pictures don't prove anything. They could easily be old, or downloaded from a Google search.

nice try CIA

def dont take pictures, dont be that innocent

For anonymity won’t everyone have to get an app or some special service to remove the exif (the location or whatever info, it may not be “exif”) data from every picture though too?
