clearnet warning

Why do you put a clearnet warning. we're on a clearnet site now. even if accessed on tor aren't you already on a clearnet site should it even matter. doesn't make sense to me at all when people do this shit

With enough resources and control, an interested party can set up a bunch of exit nodes.

If they control a large percentage of the nodes, they can deanoymize TOR users.

Exit nodes are only utilized when leaving the TOR network and going to a clearnet site.

So, when leaving onion sites and going to a clearnet site, you are vulnerable to exit node deanoymization.

This is my understanding anyway. If I am wrong, I would love to discuss this.

lol, I wondered the same thing when I saw that post.

I once met someone who "never did anything over clearnet". Ironically, I met him on a clearnet IRC server. Sure, it had the option to connect over tor, but I was on clearnet, unencrypted and all.

I just dont understand people.

This is why I only use TOR when I need to. I don't like opening the damn thing period. But that's just me.
