I'm just looking for y'alls opinion on this. I don't want to be a pest and bother him about something like this and I kinda doubt he'd do anything about it. I have a miligram scale and I didn't weigh it all at once, I just weighed it over the course of ~2-3 days as long as it took me to go through it all and I would weigh out the dose each time I used and I added them all together just now when I have a little left and it's only about 383 mg and that's at the higher end of the estimate (taking the larger numbers when the scale fluctuates, I recorder both as a range for each weigh).
There's also probably about 10 mg left of crumbs left in the bag so it looks like he shorted me about a point.
Now I can think of few explanations for this:
I have a milligram scale and my scale is pretty accurate I think, when I put a 10 gram weight on it, it shows 10.003 grams. But maybe it's less accurate when weighing small amounts like 15-20 mg?
Also, and I think this is the most likely explanation, maybe the vendor uses a scale that is not a milligram scale. In that case I could see him maybe having a more likelihood of being off by a whole point. You know maybe he just had the scale show .5 when it was really .4 if he's just using a scale that's accurate to +/-0.1
What do you guys think I should do if anything, I'm a little frustrated because I spent $100 on this and got shorted a little and the dope didn't last me nearly as long as 0.5 from my old vendor would've lasted. My go to vendor always has fire stuff but I wanted to try something domestic out and it doesn't take as long to ship when it's domestic.
i don't want to be a prick and message him demanding he mail me a point, but I'm also a little frustrated. Should I mention it at all and see if I could get it added on if I ever order from him again?
Maybe even just message him to ask how he weighs his stuff because maybe he's not even aware he's shorting people? That's actually really frustrating if it was done on purpose, do you guys think it would be likely to be an issue with my scale? I mean a whole 100+ mg on a 0.5 gram order is pretty significant. What do you guys think?
I don't think I want to post his vendor name, at least not yet. At the very least if I'm going to do that I should at least message him on the market first but I want to hear what you guys say about this.
Honestly it could have just been his scale. Message him and let him know and maybe he will send you the remaining or at least offer extra on the next order.
