Has someone tried this solution for secure delivery?

Bitcoin gave us the solution to pay risklessly and anonymously for "forbidden" stuff, the delivery side of the problem has not been solved yet. What do you think about this idea?

The producer makes different packages of "sweets", well sealed to endure long time. Then he plants them at different places where coincidental discovery by someone is not probable - like bury them in the fields, woods... He writes down the GPS coordinates of each package and may even take picture of the exact spot.

After that he publishes on the net the list of hidden packages with their town location, size, price and bitcoin address. When the consumer chooses a package to buy, she sends bitcoin to the bitcoin address listed for this package, after which she gets shown detailed description about how to find the "sweets".

She goes there whenever she likes and takes possession.

It would be helpful to have some small cheap packages in the beginning so that people can risk the bitcoins and prove that the stock is good quality and thus the producer builds reputation. Then he can sell bigger quantities.

While postal companies in the developed world are more or less doing the job for delivering forbidden stuff, they are useless in the less developed countries, where the ability for people to find what they need is even more severed.

I have thought a lot about this and can't see any risks for both the producer and the consumer.

I believe you are talking about dead drops.

It's been considered n some practice it.

There's still room for scammers but that's life.

=)

It's called a dead drop, it's already been thought up.

Dead drops you mean.... I will admit when I was brand new to the DNM and I couldn't get bitcoins yet, I did this actually with a vendor with great feedback. Lol. It was sketchy as hell but hey it worked. Opsec level 1/10. He told me where to hide the cash in some random spot. I hid it in a cigarette pack. Then waited for what to do next. Then he gave me a location where to pick up the goods. Got the message, sketched the fuck out...and after contemplating a bit I just went to the spot and all was good.

Edit: to be fair to the vendor, I had ordered from him once the week before and it was all good. I just couldn't get BTC that day and was desperate and he was the one who offered since we lived close.

woudlnt work bro

how is a vendor gunna plant 50 packs in 50 states>

doesnt make sense

[2 Points] good_sense:

Yeah dead drops are already a thing but fuck that I'm not trying to go out and shovel my packs from the ground once or twice a week lol

I would use dead drops if USPS wasn't as reliable as it is. If they crack down somehow on shipping illicit goods, which I think they will do in the next few years, dead drops may become very popular. I don't have experience with shipping in other countries though, may be useful even now in some parts of the world.

Turn your brain ON.

These are old school dead drops, and it's pretty well known. Blind double dead drops are safer but only if you do the right prep, but literally if you think any of this is necessary you shouldn't be doing your business on the markets.

just try random orders from aliexpress to different -I mean +20- potential drop locations. (order flower seeds from aliexpress $0.20 -free ship.-)

wait for several weeks, order to 5 different drops :)
