About to buy iPhone 5S on Evolution Market.....doable?

I was planning on buying one for like $150-$200 depending on which vendor looks good, then selling on craigslist to somebody at least 50 miles from me, then deleting that craigslist account and post to assure they don't find me later if problems arise.

What are the chances of problems arising (for who i sell to and for me) and does this plan seem reasonable? Trying to get enough money to deal X ;)

Wouldn't do it. A digital item such as this leaves massive tracking. If you are buying it to resell it, then you are looking at the buyer turning you when when they activate the phone and LE comes knockin.

there is no such thing as deleting a carigs list account, especially if thee is a crime. One it is open net. Two, it is a server controlled by another guy. It can appear deleted but not really be deleted. One digital fuck up and that account alone tracks you back to a stolen activated iphone. Profits are not high enough to make it worth it.

Cell phones have traceable IMEI numbers, it could backfire. When a phone gets reported as stolen the IMEI does too.

Your issue would not be in buying the phone. If you did not associate the buy with a real address, same as getting weed or anything else, then the purchase can not be tracked to you. You issue is when you offload it using Craig's list. You need to sell it on other Dark Markets. Anything clearnet accepting real money is a risk.
