If a dnm had a completely anonymous and decentralized btc tumbler integrated in its marketplace. Would you use it?

In about four weeks an anonymous and decentralized btc tumbler integrated into a wallet called Breeze will be released. The underlying technology is called tumblebit and will make transactions completely anonymous and trustless. Thus you will be able to tumble your bitcoins in the wallet without having to fear exit scams and deanonymization. Also, it will be possible for dnms to integrate the wallet into their marketplaces making it more convenient to tumble. What do you guys think? Would you use it over the centralized tumblers that are normal to use these days?

No, because it offers a false sense of security. We have yet to receive any proof whatsoever that tumblers work (except from hiding in and outputs from exchanges). With LE gearing up to fight Blockchain anonymity through higher level analysis I am sure we will be in for a huge revelation soon. Optional security is bad, why not create a market which offers anonymity through payments by default and through non-third party or optional means?

I'll still be doing all my own tumbling using the methods I know work, but a wallet with a built-in tumbler is a great idea and a long time coming. This is going to be an indispensable tool for LBC sellers and other businesses who want to keep their wallet addresses private.

What's wrong with a personal wallet that you only have connect via the tor network ? Seriously asking, I took a few years off from DNMs and bitcoins, a lot of shit has changed ha.

This looks like great tech, very interesting. From a business perspective, however, I don't think users would move to a new marketplace because of this tech. What MAY work is if you provided a browser-based version of just the tumbler and make it as easy to use as bitblender et al but without risk. Even then it may be hard to get traction simply because there haven't been enough tumbler exit scams for users to see them as a risk.

Interesting, but it's much better to use Monero between two wallets of yours and your basically golden.
