WARNING - deepdotweb showing fishing link for traderoute

i just registered an account on traderoute using the link from depdotweb and when i go to the log in screen it is asking me to enter my PIN... checked the market superlist here and its a different URL and a log in screen that obviously doesnt ask for the PIN at log in. and the captcha never changes either.

deepdotweb shows "tradero5h5miwtav"

i thougth i should warn the community

UPDATE - seems to have changed back to the correct URL now, still i thin the warning should still stand

UPDATE 2 - sorry folks! looks like my mistake, i was on deepodotweb (notice the "o" in the middle of the url) a genuine typo on my part

[22 Points] deepdot:

You accessed a site that is NOT deepdotweb

Deepdoweb Depdotweb

Or other similar phishing clone

If you google "tradero5h5miwtav" you will find "Deepdoweb"

Ddw never had or will have phishing links, and can't be MITM with tor since its can't be loaded without https.

Beware of phishing clones.

Yea there's a big old shitfest going on and everyones working together. Waiting for the grand finale so we can see all the cards and player.

[5 Points] birtdags:

What DDW link are you using? DDW is showing the real link, i just checked so maybe you are not on the real deepdotweb site.

[2 Points] luma88:

thanks for the warning bro. and i thought ddw is still trustworthy... gotta check every link against phishing no matter what... maybe ddw hacked by a phisher too. we gotta be caeful..

[2 Points] murderhomelesspeople:

Apparently this has happened in the past with DDW, maybe they have a rouge admin who does this quickly to fund his phishing expeditions.

[2 Points] JburnaDNM:

That's crazy and confirms a lot of people's suspicions. I wish you could have got a screenshot because they are pretty reputable and I know a ton of people use it for onion addresses. It would explain why a lot of people get phished. But without that proof it's pretty much FUD unfortunately but still it's good that you let people know so they can be more cautious.

[2 Points] SoldadoyProfeta:

Dont trust DDW they do phishing so they can get a cut $$$ its all about money in this dark game

[2 Points] badgeren:

DDW is not trustworthy, and if you think so, you are stupid.

DDW and Valhalla admins are working together, why would they still be a top market given what is happening?

[2 Points] noseybast:

OP obviously accessed the clearnet site using tor, all the other posts in this thread saying something else happened are talking out of their arses

[2 Points] KingXombi:

DDW AT YOUR OWB RISK MY GOOD PEOPLE...ALL WE WANT IS DRUGS AND JUSTICE!!

[1 Points] Inthewirelain:

This has happened before. I really think /u/deepdotweb is not interested in breaking the law themselves though or scamming people. so hack? or did you visit via tor? maybe a compromised node...? idk. I think there is prob a reason for it tho.

[1 Points] louthecokedealer:

does anyone know any good alternatives for onion links then?

[1 Points] Fraudsterbiz:

LE trying to get off DDW? Hope not, we would loose the biggest source of news/ links/ releated.

[1 Points] Cashruleseverythang:

phishing*
