I think it's either a lot, or hardly any.
[CommunityDiscussion]How many people on this sub do you think are LE?

OP is LE
[11 Points] MLP_is_my_OPSEC:
My handler told me to say nobody. So nobody here is LE.

I imagine LE lurks more than anything. Maybe they might even do scrapes of reddit and do some trend analysis - sort of like how the CDC might use Google searches to identity outbreaks of the flu based on searches.
I seriously doubt regular posters are LE. Whiel I could see LE making posts to spread disinformation or if they want to see if they can nail some low hanging fruit (rare I thing), I don't think LE would spend much time building up a rep around here. The payoff would be way too low and a waste of time. Any sizable vendor they would want is probably not going to get busted via reddit.
I see it as mostly an informational tool than an active investigative tool. The subpoenas we recently saw I think sort of supports this - they saw the exit scam, monitored the sub, and subpoenaed Reddit for users who might be of interest to their investigation. Its reactionary rather than proactionary (if that's even a word).

No way to know. I just assume they're always here.

As someone who has had a lot of police contact irl, not many. Cops are not paid enough and for the most part technology inclined. I'll definitely assume there is a team in the big agency circles. I'm sure names of vendors are run here occasionally.

A lot. I've seen quite a few very obvious examples. It's pretty scary, because what do you do. If they really are LE, then you don't want to fuck with them, like tell a compromised mod, or somehow the LE finds out you outted them... Then you get on bad radar.
I sometimes see people even fuck with those guys, and its just too fucking scary to even try to tell people to be careful.

None. Even assuming LE or alphabet soup agencies wanted to monitor/FUD the darknets, there are far better ways to do that than harassing a subreddit. And given how technologically backward the majority of law enforcement is these days, the people that would be stupid enough to try that probably don't know we exist.
Not much, but they're definitely here. LE make good money. They need them working high profile shit to get their money's worth. If you were captain of a squad would you assign more than 1 officer to scope out reddit for intel? No. Waste of man power.
Edit: my guess is a few agents per country to gather intel occasionally, not spending too much of their time doing it.
