At Alphabay, I feel as if we have become a state in of ourselves.
When someone breaks our rules, they occasionally do not at all bother to adhere to the system we have in place to get the truth, to provide evidence, and make a proper judgement. Perhaps this is our fault. We don't have a big list of who is on our team on our front page.
We've expected people to seek out knowledge and return having done their own investigation. We treat people like adults who can make such investigations on their own initiative instead of wanting things handed to them. Finding out information on your own can be a very rewarding experience!
Does this user have staff flair If yes, then he is staff. If no, he is not. Basic logic by means of evidence gathering. Perhaps ask other users, is this person staff? Is he in good standing with the other staff?
And this has been working very well for quite some time now, from when we were a small market to our current dominance now.
We have had multisig available on our site for months, but haven't made a big deal about it like some other places have. It shouldn't be something you hope a market to have but rather expect by default. The users who use it had asked us, do you have multisig? We have always replied yes.
Returning to the topic at hand.
Why with these turbulent times do unsubstantiated claims get upvoted?

That's a bit risky, isn't it? But at least we know that alphabay can't exit scam and get away with it. No martketplace using multisig escrows can.
The thing about multisig escrow, is the bitcoin going between the user and the vendor can be seen individually on the blockchain.
Just before that wallet, a small percentage is taken off for marketplace commission. Even if it goes on the roundabout of a tumbler, it can only get off into alphabay's profits wallet. Its had thousands of transactions go into it, and each output is a staff member's wallet like yourself.
I'm all about proof nowadays. That's the problem with multisig escrow, and the reason a provably trustworthy marketplace like agora didn't have multisig- it needs bitcoin to go through the actual marketplace, rather than being a "bitcoinless" marketplace that can't be seen on the blockchain because it uses virtual credits and a separate tumbler just for deposits and withdrawals.
If you REALLY insist on proof, I'll publish alphabay's commission wallet address. then, from the date of your announcement as an employee, I'll have a guess at a wallet which I think is yours, and have a stab at estimating your salary.
