I fucked up guys...

So I used to rent a room at this house in the ghetto. I bought a few small products (substances) from DNMs and sent them to the house no problem. Then I moved into a legit apartment under my name. So I continued sending my DNM packages to the house in the ghetto, no problems.

Untill a month ago when the owner/ renter was evicted (someone evicted in the hood??? Nooo!! Really?? lol). But I ordered 2 packages worth a few hundred total and sent it to the house. Small padded envelope sized packages that fit in the mail box.

Ive checked the box the past 3 days and it was filled with old miscillenious mail and letters. But yesterday it was empty. As if someone moved into the home and is chekcing the mail.(!)

They may take my 2 packages, expected in the next few days. Should I leave a note at thier doorstep and have them call me or what should I do?

Where do you guys send your packages?? I need a new adress to send my packages, should I post an ad on craigslist? like "lemme send a few packages to your adress and ill give you $10 when I come pick up the package.."

So your mailing to an apartment/house that's not yours anymore? You signed up for that risk lol

Its the ghetto. Knock on the door and tell them you had some packages shipped to the wrong address accidentally. They will either hold them for you or steal them from you. They don't give a fuck

Most people that I know of don't use drop addresses for DNM stuff like they would for carding and SEing or what-have-you. Having a package addressed to you and delivered to your address is way less suspicious than having it delivered to a drop, and you have plausible deniability in that anyone could have ordered/sent drugs to your address.

Yeah this is exactly what I do.

Go ahead and give it a try yourself

OP You are a dumbass. Get a change of address form filled out online at USPS.com immediately to your new address if you want any hope of those packages making it to you, otherwise someone else gets and/or reports you. Finding out who lived at that house is easy even if there was no official record of you there. Trust me the guy that got kicked out is not taking the fall for you.

If those packages arrived just fine at the old house they will arrive at your new one. Make sure the name matches what you have on the packages for those items.

Also OMG, maybe the last person who lived there did a change of address, like a normal person, and there is no mail to be delivered today. Or USPS has some notices that the home is vacant and not to leave mail.

Craigslist idea is even more retarded.

Do you have ID with that old address on it? You could try flagging down the mailman and explaining the situation that you ordered something and accidentally used your old address. Maybe with ID that shows the same name and address you'll luck out and he'll give it to you instead of delivering. I was in a similar situation a while back but with a legit Amazon package. I left a note for the new renter with my number but they never called. I'm sure they just opened it and kept it. Such is life in the hood.

Try to talk to them and explain you accidentally sent some packages there. If it's in your name, they'll hopefully be helpful...

If they refuse, you can try and threaten with a federal offense if they keep your mail, but past that I don't think you can do much since it's probably some illegal shit. GL.

Exactly why you should just send it to your house. I think setting up a drop is more extensive than most people realize/think. IF you don't know how to do it properly, just have it sent to your home. I would consider those packs lost and gone. You don't know if they've already called the cops and when you come to pick it up, you've just been ID'ed and you're fucked.

You got your own place, sending it to your address is the safest and most convenient imo

Just go there, knock on the door, and say "Hey, I use to live here and I accidentally had shipped 2 packages from amazon not thinking about it and if they come in, can you give me a call?"

[1 Points] friednlyadvice:

why dont you just send them to your addy..

Lol that new tenant will be happy. You deserve to lose both packages for such stupid thinking. Live and learn (hopefully).

Gotta think this stuff thru before you make your move. Think wise

were the packages addressed to you...?

"Under federal law, it is illegal to intentionally stop a letter from being delivered to its intended recipient, and that may include not informing the U.S. Postal Service that you have another person's mail. While U.S. Postal Inspectors aren't likely to hunt you down for throwing away mail addressed to a previous tenant -- especially if it's spam -- you should keep in mind that it is a federal crime to intentionally destroy another person's mail... [it is a] federal crime that could potentially land you in prison for up to five years."

I'm not exactly sure how the legal system works in the US, but here in the UK I think if evidence is acquired for a crime by illegal means, it may get thrown out, or he might get in trouble and you won't, as there is no evidence that you ordered those drugs. Otherwise, you could easily frame someone you don't like by sending them a load of drugs and calling the cops.
