Waiting period between making consecutive orders?

Sorry if this is an inane question, but would it be good OPSEC to space out my purchases? I just got a pack last week express delivered and I'm considering (more like fiending) making another express purchase this week.

You're fine. Not having two international packs in transit at the same time to the same place is a good rule to stick with though.

I personally try to have only one order in transit at a time. The most I've had is two orders in transit at once. I don't think it's a major flaw in OPSEC to have multiple (a reasonable number that is) orders out at once but it probably would be a good idea to limit them when possible.

My reasoning is that my mail box is rather small and I want as little interaction with the post office as possible so I like to make sure the package(s) along with any other regular mail that comes can fit in the mail box and to not have to worry about picking it up at or contacting the post office.

Another reason is that if for whatever reason your package was seized or the police raided you/did a CD, it's one less thing, piece of evidence, and possible charge against you if you were to have other packages show up after a raid or seizure.

My final reason is you also want to appear as normal as possible to your post office/mailman. Having a bunch of packages shipped priority (or worse express) to yourself frequently might raise some eyebrows. As long as it's not a crazy number of packages though, this shouldn't be too much of an issue as many people run personal businesses or sell things on EBay or Amazon that require frequent shipping.

It can be tough to do sometimes but I like to find a few select reliable vendors who offer a few different products I like so I can get as few and as infrequent packages as possible.

[1 Points] None:

there are two methods in which to receive expected packages.

  1. machine gun method: orders spaced out, 1-3 at a time

  2. shotgun method: a bunch at once, 3-5+ orders in one go

neither one is really better than the other. there is multiple reasoning perspectives but what it comes down to is personal preference (and maybe a bit to do with your specific situation)
