Certified Mail pink slip from mailman

Doesn't require signature, but nobody I deal with uses anything other than USPS priority. I have the option to go pick the letter up tomorrow or leave the slip out with a signature for re-delivery. According to some website, basic certified mail can be left with anyone at the house, not just the recipient.

This is most likely dnm-related, but a small chance it's an important legal document.

What do? Safe to go pick up? Did the mailman just not feel like ringing the doorbell or is this some sort of CD?

I know you all aren't mind-readers who can magically tell me if this is a CD or not, but maybe you are better at logic/legal stuff than I am. Could I go all the way to the post office, look at the package, and then not pick it up/refuse it if it seems fishy? I'm waiting on a passport renewal AND some expensive product which is why this is kind of touchy.

Thanks!

Have it redelivered and leave instructions to leave on porch or In box.
