Been Away for ages and lost my way with PGP...

Hi, I used to use SR back in the day, but that was ages ago and I am trying to get back in to see some of the new markets. I uninstalled whatever I used to use for encryption keys before, so installed OpenPGPStudio, but I am struggling to say the least.

I have installed a public key of a site to communicate with. I still have a copy of my old secret and public key...anyway yesterday my key imported, but I could not decrypt a message, today all the keys are gone and software won't even import my key.

Basically can someone point me to an idiots guide to this stuff so I can learn it all over again? And maybe recommend software?

I can't see one on the left bar.

thanks

Tails OS comes pre-loaded with a very easy PGP encryption app. If you're on windows, gpg4win is the suite to download. Other programs to look at are OpenPGP, like you already mentioned and are familiar with, and gpg4usb if you want something portable. There should be full tutorials available for all of them with a simple google search and I know at least gpg4win has a complete walkthrough with screenshots posted in multiple languages right on their website.

Make sure to check on if you set a date for your keys to expire.
