Overseas vendors shipping to US buyer - do they ever get through?

Me and my friends had tried a couple of times to purchase a darknetmarket product that is really only available from overseas, and in none of the cases was the product received.
We got no word that customs had confiscated or held shipment. The vendors insisted that the product had been shipped, in all three cases. We did not notice any pressure on our receiving address, or any confiscation of domestic shipments to that address. In fact, we have received every order we have made domestically.

So, what is the story? Are the overseas vendors scamming us? Or is customs just snagging and concealing?

And forgive me for being vague, I don't know if it is appropriate to name in this forum anspecific products that were purchased.

Thank you family.

It would be helpful to name vendor, country, product and amount so we can help you.

If I remember correctly there was a story about this chemist. Where a package of supplies never turned up. I think this is the link.....

Not exactly the same situation but it shows that it can take months before they actually come to talk to you about your "missing" package.

It's hard to say without more information.....

in my experience US customs actually gets very little, less then 1% certainly, and they do seem to send out letters if they do. I guess you didnt want to use tracking?
