An idea if there ever comes a need for a new mod or mod's

Why not do it democratically? Long time community members can state that they would like to try for the position and then members with a specific age on there account can vote.

It would eliminate many things that i hear the sub angry with such as a new handle as nobody with a new handle would get any votes anyways and you shouldn't have any doxable info on your account if you think your mod worthy and everyone can stop pissing on these mods cause why are they mods? You fucking voted for them.

Ofcourse this would require everyone to take it seriously and the democratic system would have to have some requirements to make sure we all benifit from it, anyways its just an idea whats everyone elses thoughts?

Where the heck is my flair? I've seen enough of long term members here to realize I'm being passed over.

i think we as a whole need to get off reddit completely , Maybe a forum open to everyone but where people can pay monthly dues or something to vote on things so we as a whole can move a certain way . You can almost kinda run it like a union

That would be dope if it ended up working.

Alot of politics to be a mod for this sub. They announce a new mod every now and again, ends up being same mod with a different handle.

No flair here either.
