Alright so I have a general question as it relates to Opsec. First a little background info. I placed my first DNM order two weeks ago and another a week later on BB and did use the native encryption. The transactions went very smoothly both packs arrived very quickly. I haven't discussed my activities with anyone and am (as far as I know) the only one that has knowledge of what I'm now in possessoin of aside from my vendor.
My first transaction I didn't use tails, my second I did. I'm wondering if its possible I've left information behind on my PC that could come back to bite me at some point down the road. I'm considering doing a whole hard drive wipe and reformat. Going forward all transactions will be done with tails so it should only have to be done once.
My reddit access, at least when I post not when I'm browsing, is done through tails at this point and I don't use any email applications or social media when on tails.
The second question that I have relates to the BC. I'm not buying for redistribution, only personal use. As such I only get as much BC as I need for that individual order. For the past two orders I have had the BC vendor transfer the funds directly to the DNM. I was curious if there was a drawback for me in doing this. It seemed fairly logical that it would cut out any chance that the BC was coming to me in the first place but I wanted some advice from those more knowledgeable than myself.
Thanks
The one thing that I think a lot of people forget here is that if LE has access to your computer, they've probably raided you and have already discovered your drug stash. Of course, there are corner cases, so keep that in mind. Doing whole disk encryption of your PC hard drive is a generally good idea though.
As for the btc, how are you purchasing them? If they're purchased in an anonymous manner, then you're probably ok transferring them directly into a dmn wallet. If you're using tails, you might as well use an electrum wallet as well and transfer them into there. That way you can keep a little stash without having to ever keep any btc in any market wallet.
