Questions about benzocaine

Okay I tried looking on google but I all the info I see is relating to topical gels and such so I hoping someone here has some knowledge of the subject. I was wondering if pure benzocaine powder is good and safe for a toothache. The oragel shit ain't cutting it anymore so I figured I'd go straight for the pure stuff. Is it possible to overdose on that stuff? And how much would be too much if it is? Thanks for any help guys. And yeah before people start telling me to go to a dentist it is for my wife who just refuses to go and would rather bitch about it every freaking day

Get some high-quality Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) essential oil (the NOW brand is generally good and inexpensive) and use that (a q-tip is a great applicator). It's not only extremely numbing, but it's also a strong antimicrobial that will combat infection and caries, which are generally the cause of tooth pain.

Alternatively, another excellent and highly-effective natural remedy for tooth pain is Spilanthes (Acmella oleracea) flowers, which are similarly analgesic and anti-infective. Their unique tingling sensation can also be interesting with sex. For a source, in North America I recommend https://www.mountainroseherbs.com

Don't use any such medicines during pregnancy or nursing and always consult a doctor before beginning any herbal treament.

I'd assume it's possible to OD on benzocaine, but unless you're downing whole bottles of it in one sitting I doubt you'll get much more than a stomach ache at worst. I couldn't find any actual data on how much one would need to overdose on benzocaine, but most websites are mainly concerned about children under the age of 2 taking too much benzocaine.

Honestly, I'd go for it. Start off with a small amount (use a milligram scale, the gemini-20 is available of amazon for around 20 dollars), and adjust your dosage from there. Don't just guess the amount you're using.
