So I'm not strictly new at this but I want to make sure I have my bases covered... I buy small amounts (1/4 oz) of pot about once every month or so online. I use my first name and last initial so as not to arouse suspicion (I do this with eBay too). I get my stuff by USPS, which I know is Fed territory. I buy from established vendors with good reputations for stealth. I only buy from within the US to avoid customs. I've heard that for amounts like this, it's not worth the time of the DEA/feds to go after it, and that they basically send you a letter saying we found drugs in a package being sent to you, we're going to destroy it or you can sue us and try to get it back (yeah right). So let's say that somewhere in transit, my package gets ripped open (you need a warrant to search someone's mail) and someone finds out that there's about 7 grams of fine MJ inside. I assume what would happen next is that they would take my stuff (probably smoke it themselves...) and send me one of these "love letters": http://www.pharmacyreviewer.com/forum/imagehosting/201664db21ac71a4ad.jpg ,at which point I toss it in the shredder and go find somewhere else to buy. Point being: has anyone ever heard of anyone getting their door busted down over a q? Or is my assumption pretty much right in that the DEA/feds/state (who won't care since it's decriminalized where I live) would rather spend their money chasing pounds than small fractions thereof?
How can any of us tell you what the cops would do? In theory sending drugs in the mail is a felony and if they found anything they could try and arrest you
