The next exit scam.

Let me start with this: this is all purely coincidental evidence. Take this as humor. Or as an omen. Or as fud. Idgaf.

Ok, so lets go back to the beginning of the year. I had just learned about dnms, and was amazed it all worked. I put in my weeks of research, learned tails, pgp, bitcoin, and opsec. Researched markets and vendors. Once I had a firm grasp of it all, I decided to place an order. I bought $100 of bitcoins, and went shopping on evo. Everything was great, got my pgp right, put my money in escrow, and was ready to get some drugs. The next day, people said they couldnt withdraw. Everyone cried fud, till the weekend was over, and we all know what happened. I received half my orders, and chalked it up as a lesson learned.

A month or so goes by, and I decide to order again. Black bank looked good, and wasnt as slow as agora. Make my order, use multisig, get my drugs. What wonderful times we live in. A few weeks later I place a second order, and within a week of that, blackbank went dark.

Ok, no problem, lost my $10 I left there. I followed my vendor and goto agora. By now it has sped up considerably, and it the clear leader of the dnm world. I place my order, get my drugs, then imagine this: about a week later they say they are closing shop. By now this is getting old, I place an order and the market closes.

I wait another month or so, and again follow a vendor. This time I end up on Mem. Now, in the past I hated seeing both of my DOCs in my order history. So I get smart, and order from abraxas at the same time I order from MEM. You see where this is going right?

The last market I ordered from was alphabay. They have about a week left in my experiance.

TL;DR everytime I order the market closes.

Can you please email LE around the world and ask for drugs for Bitcoin?

You'd be doing the world a favour.

=D

give BTC to trumps campaign while you are at it

I remember you saying something along the same lines after the fall of abraxas. You said you would let us know.

Dark Net Christ has come to shut down the markets.

I will heed your warning.

Drugs find a way

Dude for the sake of the greater good, go find a real life hook up. You're bad luck and we can't have you closing down markets. Come on man, for the good of the community, retire.

Some people just have that luck I guess. Mine experience has been the opposite. Silk road popped my cherry and I have placed near or over 100 orders since without a dime being lost. I think I lost 25 cents on the evo exit. Vendors have tried to scam me but escrow always protected me thoae feq times. Chalk it up to bad luck. Ive lost more money to irl drug deals than the dnm. The dnms have made me money so I feel your pain.

[1 Points] DrudgeThrowaway:

Well AlphaBay now shows "Temporary maintenance, expected downtime 30 minutes"

[1 Points] regulardarknetguy:

it will be the reddit darknetmarkets site, taking with it tens if not thousands of n00by messages dicksizing about weed and 'is bigron69 also mrfattiefat, omg shillz' type threads.

only joking, agora wehtnt out like gents, so too did bmr although i was a lurker in those days.

to defeat dnm evil one must train in the server hosting fighting style and that style can be hard for people with basic computer literacy

[1 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

You are banned from ever doing any direct deals with me. is that clear?

seriously though, when I first started as a vendor on the original SilkRoad, I was averaging 5 weeks on every marketplace before it went under.

I realized that a vendor has to get good at spotting exit scams, and that collectively we have to make it harder to steal our bitcoin and make a few examples of the marketplace owners for future owners to see.

I've realised that an exit scam is very scary for the marketplace owner, they have a hundred things to do at once, and they tend to monitor reddit DNMs with onw paranoid eye, like listening to police radio with a scanner. They can be scared into making mistakes through fear or underconfidence.

If you can record a couple of bitcoin wallets which are definitely controlled by the thief, he will be busted within the year.

They are exit scamming for the first time, its all new to them. I've been right near to the centre of a lot. I learn everything I can from each one and know what mistakes to look out for.

they ALL look like they got away with it. Things go quiet again, and after about 5 weeks the owner stops being scared and makes his second set of mistakes, this time through over-confidence.

Reddit festers for about 3 months, then the next public holiday there is an inexplicable massive row between two people on reddit, like a zit popping. Its always somehow to do with the marketplace exit, and I'm ashamed to say that I'm often one of the parties arguing or being trolled.

Even if you don't know what its about, you know that I'm one of the good guys, right? And when I do stuff, it's always for a reason. Just play along with me.

So you're the 'cooler' of the DNMs eh?

[1 Points] None:

well I saw her today the reception. A glass of wine in her hand. I knew she would meet her connection at her feet a footloose man. You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes, you find, you get what you need.

[1 Points] noonehear:

Or you need to move and end up finding a 500mg bag of alprazolam powder like I just did tonight!
