I dont visit here very often, except to inform the community with issues related to DNM's, but when I do I almost always see people with pitchforks out for the mods accusing them of being unfair, censoring subjects and the like.
But yesterday my thread quickly rose to the top and despite the implications of a possible exit scam, it was not censored and the opposite happened: Trappy_Pandora helped quickly resolve the isssue, and did not censor anything.
In the case of withdrawl issues on AlphaBay yesterday, while it looked like a market wide issue, it ended up being something specific to my situation. I've disclosed full details here:
I think the reason for my withdrawls being halted was very fair, and was handled with professionalism by the AlphaBay admin. When such accusations are made, it is important that AB evaluate them to protect the community members. While my reputation is clean, and has been so for years, I understand that there are a lot of very shady vendors out there who do some pretty questionable things. Its good we have a system in place that evaluates these actions and mediates disputes. In my case, the dispute was mediated much faster than I expected and after I provided all the evidence the accusation was considered unfounded and my reputation has been restored. Withdrawls were immediately enabled with the dispute ended.
I still have 100% positive feedback on AlphaBay thanks to a fair administration. Its pretty tough to get negative feedback reversed on markets guys. I want everyone to know that. The system works the way it is intended. Usually even with full proof most markets will do nothing about your feedback, which is not a good thing to honest vendors who have to deal with scammers who use that system as a tool for extortion.
This thread won't please the pitch forkers.
