Where to transfer for BTC?

Really soon I plan on making a purchase of around $5000 and need to transfer that to BTC with the lowest fees. I've purchased lower amounts of BTC before on websites like Coinbase, Coin.mx, and even Localbitcoin using western union once. But these were all for amounts under $500 and always had high fees. Can someone give me some suggestions? Thanks!

circle.com has no fees but has a $2,500 monthly limit. I think you can get it removed though.

If you're going to purchase that much and move it into a DNM account eventually, I'd highly recommend dark coin. I recently transferred a few hundred and instead of tumbling it, I converted it to dark coin, did the "darksend mix" on my own machine, and then converted it back to BTC all squeaky clean and ready to be dirtied. It's a little strange at first (the darkcoin application could use a little better user feedback), but if you time the markets right, you don't have to lose any money from tumbling fees and/or put that much at risk by giving it to a tumbler and hoping you'll get it back. Just my $0.02

if you can figure out how to get your money in to be able to purchase from them, btc-e.com usually has the market-low price for btc and generally caters to larger transactions.

Thanks I'll definitely look into dark coin! And I remember trying circle before but for some reason they wouldn't accept my info.. Maybe I'll try again. Can anyone recommend some trusted tumbling services as well? I'll be sure to get that done.
