/r/darknetmarkets over /r/drugs

Just wondering If everyone Is the same as me and Love the DNM but hate /r/drugs,

I feel like DNM Cuts out that casual buyer who posts a thread titles "I took one Mollie's 4 weeks later my cat died, Is this normal" -_-

I usually don't have the patience to read all the long stories posted to /r/drugs, even though they're likely very personal and "moving" or interesting. But if something is posted to here, like the PoM/VJ story, I'll read it no problem (sometimes I won't read anything over a few paragraphs at /r/drugs).

I know this isn't the place, but I enjoy reading about drugs here. I feel like a lot of circlejerking goes on over there against alcohol, weed, and everybody's pro-psychedelics, but DNMers usually seem to be cooler about it all.

I personally can't deal with people talking about weed on /r/trees but I don't mind it here because you don't have a bunch of 13 year olds posting about how they "leik get totally blayzed 420/7, wedd > alcohol becoz its #naturel, DAE 0 ppl died from mareiwanas?". Then you have some people on /r/LSD that just have no idea what they're talking about. I used to frequent both of those subs and contribute to them in the exact same way that I currently despise, and when I started branching out, frequenting /r/drugs and /r/DNMs, I stopped feeding the circlejerk. Now I keep a happy balance between /r/LSD, /r/stims, /r/MDMA, /r/drugs, and /r/DNMs, which are the 5 subreddits I frequent, but /r/DNMs is my go-to.

I sometimes go days without looking at other subs (sometimes I forget /r/drugs exists). I've never seen a community like this, and it's entertaining even if all you want to do is sit back and watch. I've left/stopped checking this sub for a little under a week at a time, but that's when I'd hit a low point and don't even feel like checking the front page of reddit. I'm glad I found this place, even if it's caused a lot of paranoia and anxiety in my life (late packs, signing for mail, getting a new mailman, the drugs, whew)!

When the statute of limitations is up, I'll tell my grandkids about you guys, and all the market/vendor exit scams, and how some of us had to walk through the ghetto both ways to a LibertyX location.

There's quite a few good posts on /r/drugs , you can't justify a sub for being shit for some dipshits posting retarded threads. The same thing your saying is what /r/drugs says about /r/trees and so on. There's still plenty of retarded posts on this sub too

With you 100% on this.....Its like they all have sticks up their asses!!!! The difference is this, we know how to have fun, we have come to realize that we love our drugs, they complete us!!!! They see drugs as a burden, OMG, I do drugs, I'm such a fucking loser!!!! We be like, I do drugs & I FUCKING LOVE IT

I think the /r/drugs page gets like that because it's so broad. Therefore you attract a broader group of users and redditors. Imagine how many reddit users are 'filthy casuals' when it comes to drugs and their first problem freaks them out so they go to /r/drugs instead of doing like 5 minutes of Google research.

Once you get to something like dnm it weeds out some of those people because they wouldn't even know where to begin or have no interest in it. The people who are on the DNMs have a greater variety of drugs they've tried and have probably done stranger more difficult to obtain drugs (I would bet large sums of money on this but have no way to back it up). As such, they have to do lots of research into vendors and stuff like that.

I think one could compare it like this: the people on this sub, by and large, are like the Amazon customer buying something who realizes/researched all the nuanced differences between 3 or 4 TVs and knows what the advantages, disadvantages, and risks are with buying one TV over another. They've put in the time and are informed when they make their purchase or if they're asking a question it's informed like "I've read the blacks on the Samsung are better than the Sony but the refresh rate causes choppy pictures, can anybody attest to this bla bla bla".

On the other hand, the /r/drugs crowd are like the college kid who's buying his first TV for his frat house, has done no research, and waltzes into Best Buy and asks the nearest employee what the best TV they have is and expects a straight answer.

Also, just sheer numbers-wise more people means more people post, the more people who post the greater chance there is that a larger percentage of those people have dumb posts.
