Ordering to a business address

Pretty new to DNM and I've placed multiple orders in the last two weeks. Only one item so far has arrived, only one item is late.

I'm using my work address for receiving with my name on it. Should I include any sort of message with my address to assure the vendor the address is bueno? I saw a thread awhile back with a vendor being sketched out about sending to a work address.

If you own the business, you should have no problems.

I don't get why everyone is saying this is definitely not good. I've worked in offices where a lot of people had all their clearnet packs sent, and no one would fuck with your shit unless you'd already parted ways with the company by the time it arrived. Even then they might forward it unopened if it wasn't addressed to the organization. That said, I personally would never do it because it's a bit reckless for my liking, and completely unnecessary as well.

A couple of years ago I owned a business and we'd get legit packages all the time. A real business with a 5+ year history of receiving normal orders and deliveries and so I used it as my address to order stuff from. Still an awesome idea I think because an established business that naturally gets packages everyday getting another run of the mill package didn't turn the heads of the postman or of the mail people in my area.

So if you're "work address" is your own established business, I would say that would be a yes. But if you are an employee at this place, definitely no. The risks are much too prevalent. Good luck.
