Did anyone lose a package?

Disclaimer: this story is a bit unbelievable so I completely understand if you want to call bullshit, downvote and move on

I work at a small company with about seven employees. On Monday, the postman delivered a USPS flat rate box that was marked "return to sender". It had originally been addressed to someone in New York City and the return address was that of my place of business although the business name was incorrect. The guy who usually opens up incoming mail was off on Monday so the box just sat there for most of the week. I had just assumed it was a return and ignored it. Today I asked around the office and tried to find out if anyone knew what it was or who it was for.

The guy who usually opens mail said he had no idea and jokingly said he was afraid to open it because he thought it might be a bomb or anthrax. I scoffed at him, whipped out my pocket knife and started sawing at the packing tape. With two employees standing nearby I opened up the flat rate box to reveal another box. Inside that box was a translucent plastic bag with something lumpy and soft inside it. I opened up that bag to find yet another bag. The lumpy, soft contents were greenish. I opened up the second bag to find yet another bag containing approximately 1 lb of nice looking weed. Luckily I have a good relationship with both of these employees and we all agreed that it should be turned in to the police.

Just kidding! While neither of them seemed that excited to have a pound of pot land in their laps, they both agreed that saying nothing and splitting it three ways was the best policy.

I've read several stories on this subreddit of peoples packages going missing or being intercepted so I thought you might enjoy one with a happy ending. For me at least.

The ganja fairy is real!

TLDR: Package containing 1 lb of pot is delivered to my place of work.

So, the vendor used a fake return address which was your office?

Man I wish that would happen to me. Luckily the other employees were interested and didn't really want to take it to the cops
