Sent Bitcoins from Multibit to Alphabay wallet, Multibit says Received with 36 blocks, no coins in Alphabay wallet

Is this normal and I just haven't waited long enough?

I sent the coins last night at around 2am. About an hour ago, multibit changed to saying the coins were received and the transaction was paid.

What's going on? This is a completely new alphabay account I'm using, and I used the link in the superlist to get there.

That doesn't mean it's confirmed.

Check the transaction on a block chain explorer. How many confirmations do you have?

They got you. Yes, they will swipe your deposit as soon as it hits your account and claim you were phished because you didn't have 2fa enabled. If you open a support ticket they will reply with a copy and paste and close the ticket. If you show them the address you sent the deposit to they will claim it's not an AB address.
