Making nice w/ the postman

Hey guys, just wanted to share a little idea that may or may make a difference, but is nice nevertheless.

Since my discovery of the DNM, I've obviously been receiving many more packages than usual. Over the past 3 years, I've developed a friendly rapport w/ my local mailman however today, I thought I'd "sweeten" the bond just a little by offering him a yummy, homemade muffin. He was truly grateful for the gesture and it put a huge smile on his face.

Anyway, that's all I wanted to share. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Definitely not a bad idea to have your postman or woman in your corner. I'm on a first name basis with my postwoman, and she really looks out for me. If a priority or express package lands at the PO after she's already taken off for the day to run her route, she'll return to the PO and grab it for me (I guess the PO will somehow alert her that there's something for one of her addresses, don't know how she knows). Come holiday time, $50 in cash as a nice "thank you" for delivering my drugs in such a timely manner throughout the year. Definitely can't hurt!

Your mailman is reading this like "Holy fuck. I got a muffin on my route today."

I grew up with the same postal worker for many years. Now, I seem to live on a training route with a different worker almost every day. Also, my mail can arrive anywhere from 9am to 5pm. As a kid, mail arrived at a pretty consistant time. We also would leave a gift for the postal worker around xmas.

I was talking to my mailman, he was in a hurry and ended up dropping all the mail he was holding. I helped pick it up for him. I mentioned I was expecting a package, and it was supposed to be here. He came back after his run, he had found it in the truck and delivered it up to me when he could of just waited. It was awesome.

These are some sneaky snack hungry mail-folk up in here.

Being kind goes a long way...just sayin

im pretty sure my mailman knows whatsup, a while back i ordered a zip from medibuds and en-route something fell on my package, and busted the box open a bit. my mailman put it in a clear bag and closed it tight and hand delivered the mail to me that day with my package on top. all he said was he took extra care of it with a big smile on his face. idk if i was extremely paranoid or if i have the best mailman ever lol

Am I the only one who just creepily peeks at them from my blinds as I hear their truck drive by? Then when I'm sure they're gone I don the ghillie suit, stealthily retrieve my goods, and slither on back into my lair.

I'm not sure I understand the logic of this arn't they just doing there job? It's not like your delivery person knows he's dropping off your drugs. I don't tip my local drug dealers

I always seem to have a different postal worker. I may see the same worker once or twice a year, but it's usually someone random. And in my area they are always mean :(

Never do anything to differentiate yourself from the postman's other deliveries. Be nice and cordial, don't ever buy them a gift. When your time comes, the postmaster is who you will be dealing with, not your actual mailman. By the time your package is in the hands of your mailman, you've already made it.

He probably thinks you're gay or attracted to him.

I'm seriously torn in my reaction to your decision. On one hand, it's better to be friendly than to be hated... but being friendly still isn't being "grey". There are probably enough people in the area that leave little gifts that you won't be SUPER memorable... but... you'll be a brighter-than-average spot in their mental map now.

I hope it works out well for you.

Plot twist: your postman is reading this and knows who you are now...

I always give baked goods to the mailman. Sometimes my daughter will give him cookies for Valentines day or Christmas. I even know what kind of drink he gets at starbucks.

How much molly should we put in the muffin?
