Syscoin 2.0 Vs. OpenBazaar Comparison

What about ZeroBazaar tho?

Syscoin sounds cool and all but I am not game with having to work with something that isn't Bitcoin. It's bad enough already when I am missing $0.04 in BTC for an order due to volatility, having to juggle around with two cryptos isn't much more fun.

OpenBazaar is not anonymous in any way at the moment and runs over UDP so it can't even be routed over Tor. However, integrating OB over I2P is on the OB roadmap, which will be very, very exciting...

Never used OpenBazaar or Syscoin, are there many darknet vendors?

I have issues with storing IPs and having the whole transaction history stored as a permanent record on the blockchain. Most people are stupid and will just do whatever's easiest and "just works". So if these marketplaces work without VPN/TOR a lot of people will be giving up their IPs and everyone can see their transactions on the blockchain... I must be misunderstanding here because this just seems like a decentralised market rather than something which can viably replace DNMs?

What makes DNMs so powerful is that they're not reachable via the clearnet.

If someone has better insight feel free to share.
