BACKGROUND OF THE INVESTIGATIONOn August 24, 2016, Law enforcement conducted a surveillance of 2447 SE PascalAvenue Port Saint Lucie, Florida, after receiving information that a resident, Ralph SERGO , was manufacturing and distributing Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD) at the residence.During the surveillance SERGO was observed and identified coming from the residence, checking the mailbox, retrieving the mail from the mail box and returning to the residence. 5) On August 24, 2016, law enforcement also conducted an inspection of the trash, which had been placed at the roadside for trash collection. Inspection of the trash revealed severalpapers with tabs indicating weights, and quantities of ççhits'' and çttabs'' of :CGOT'' and CCGDF''Through my narcotics training and experience, I believe these to be references to quantities

IDK why it copied and pasted over like that lol, but yeah, he was rolled on from the outside! His investigation started because a tip from the outside!

He let too many people or the wrong person know way too much.

His lack of OPSEC is troubling, but I have some questions regarding the investigation. I have no idea how LE works in these cases, BUT....

Why did they not immediately bust him? If they found LSD in an international pack, why not do a CD? The LE claims to have experience with darknet, so they HAD to know who he was and that he was mailing lots of packs out, including packs to other dealers. This wasn't the Bay Area or Miami...this was a fairly lightly populated area. Seems it would be much easier to profile mail. Was anyone busted simultaneously with John_? Seems like if those packs were profiled, they could have a lot of people nabbed after a 4-5 month investigation.

Also, obviously, hopefully that encrypted drive was Tails, and hopefully he isn't giving up any passwords.

Damn he has a baby that's gonna grow up without a father. This story is so sad :,( He shoulda knew something was up when that pack went missing.

Hmmm...Whats the chances that Sergo knew that kid who got popped with a CD of 125 presses in the same town a few months earlier? Just a theory, but I think they knew each other IRL and that kid rolled over on Sergo. Sergo prob ran his mouth to that kid about how he was a big time chemist/dealer and when that kid got popped he sang like a bird. He obviously isn't a chemist but he looks like a kid that would say that he was to act cool to some other kidz. *remember kidz, loose lips sink ships.

They began the investigation into him 5 months before he was arrested. His arrest was the direct result of someone snitching; nothing more and nothing less. It sucks, but there is really nothing he can do if the cops are following him around.

Mirror for anyone who just wants the PDF without doing a bunch of JS BS:

We should know at least a little more within a month, as rules of federal criminal procedure require a grand jury indictment within 30 days of a complaint.

I must say, reading through this complaint is essentially just like reading a list of what not to do when you're slangin' big 'cid or any drug.

What he did wrong, in my opinion:

Talk about a slam dunk. This guy didn't do himself any favors.

Big time vendor with little regard for opsec.

One more thing, regarding the notes they found in his trash in Aug 2016: "GDF" and "GoT" - anybody know what GoT refers to?

[2 Points] bmoreproduct1:

Unless he is using the gun during drug deals that gun charge will almost certainly be thrown out.

Read about "parallel construction"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parallel_construction

never any way to tell where it really started; cops will lie in affidavits and court
