Is there any reason to not trust vendors who were on seized markets?

A few people on here have said that they don't trust vendors who were on the compromised markets, as they could be be in LE control. As far as I can see it, if a vendor was on a market that was seized by LE and practiced at all decent opsec (i.e., not using the same login on multiple markets, mixing coins, etc.), there isn't any way to tie their account on the seized DNM back to them, and no way to take over their sister accounts on other sites.

Basically, are there any legitimate reasons not to trust reputable vendors who sold on markets that were seized?

there's no way to know the opsec of your anon friends.

If the vendor was on c9 the tracking info was not encrypted. This means LEO's have a list of buyers and return addresses (which could potentially lead to more buyers). Since the PO documents each package they can easily boost their ability to profile packages from this. Many return addresses will need to be burned (assuming the vendor even knows) and buyers making larger/frequent purchases may be watched. This is all speculation on my part, but seems fairly obvious.

I would contact said buyer with pgp of course, and talk to them, make sure everything's good, if bought from them before you might figure out if its the same person or not by comparing to previous com.
