Hypothetically, what to do if empty package?

So i made a purchase on C9 with a new vendor with full escrow. Someone brought to my attention that it sounded like a scam. I've always heard that tracking is used in case of resolution. What can a customer do to protect themselves if a vendor send an empty package to them? The tracking will show it got there fine, and it'll be the customers word vs the vendors. What should one do in that situation, specifically if it's his first purchase on the market, and the vendor only has ~3 sales which look padded? My Agora account with the same username has ~20 purchases 5/5, so would this help my case were it to come to resolution? Thanks in advance everyone. It's only a $60 purchase, so i can afford to lose it if it happens like that. (Also, what would be cool would be to film the package opening, strip the EXIF data from it, and upload that to show support, but i don't know if this is plausible nor smart.)

I was thinking video at first too, but I don't believe it's easy to use it completely safely. Another thing you could have done instead so that you wouldn't be worrying in the first place is order from a reputable vendor. Also you might not want to have the same username on the DNMs as the markets, as LE may be able to link it in the case of them bringing down a site. Just my thoughts..

if he has the same disputes going on with multiople clients youll be fine. if its just you, a single feedback buyer, and he isdoing other transactions legit, you might befucked..

and the opening the box thing is bs..anyone can orchestrate a fake box opening.

Why would you choose them if it was your first DNM purchase? Why does no one just do the research and buy reputable stuff?
