On counterfeit bills

Been noticing more people want counterfeit bills and are uneducated on it. I'll tell you my story. I ordered a few hundred dollars worth (face value of bills) and spread them around. Got away with it really well. Only 1 time did the lady say it's fake so I acted like anyone would and was surprised. Then just bought whatever it was with a real bill. She actually gave it back and I used it later and that's that. Then I got cocky and printed my own. Used in a situation I shouldn't have and got busted. Unfortunately, after keeping me by my car for a long time, I let them search it. Nothing was found but that's always a bad idea. Don't do that. The rest of my bills weren't with me and I just said maybe I got it from cash back somewhere. Some LE visited the next day and took me to the station and interrogated me. Kept saying I have no clue, tried helping them figure where it might come from but as anyone surprised with a fake bill, I had no idea. Then took me back home and that was that. I got lucky. Me being white in a black neighborhood helped I think.

So, counterfeit bills can be passed off successfully. Spread it wide and no mom and pop shops. Busy hours, only have 1 at a time. Hide the rest somewhere else. I don't really recommend it as it's high risk and you get caught once and you're done. Get caught once with bad opsec and you have a felony. Not trying to shill but I got it from fakeasanything. I tried others but his was slightly better. It's obviously fake if you have it next a real bill or look closer but hard to notice in normal transaction.

Good takeaway from this: Don't print your own bills if you don't know what you're doing.

The best counterfeiters spend days in Photoshop rebillding paper money layer by layer. Using the right tools, and knowing how to use them. Ordering their paper from good sellers (not just the first suggestion on Alibaba). If you're not willing to go all-out on this? You probably won't get far without the Secret Service stomping on your front porch.

risk/reward?

You'd be better off cutting out the middle man and shoplifting the item surely?
