LibertyX ELI5

need coins in the morning to place an order and have it ship same day. cant trust lbc, my usual, to get the coins with a quickness and i've heard good things about LibertyX.

can anyone walk one through the steps, step by step, for an LbX noob?

ive heard all sorts of conflicting info such as facebook logins, photo ID required to setup acct, phone numbers... break it down for us please with step by step for a noobie.

does it need a phone?

does it need an email?

does it need an ID?

does it need an app? even a QR scanner scanner...

ELI5 this bitch for me please, i dont have time to mess around "figuring it out". i dont have any issues except acquiring the coin from them, getting to my electrum wallet is as far as i need aid.

Legit as shit man but some stores have limits that are weak as fuck. And most don't know what they are doing. I forgot how much btc I was getting from the same qpay guy usually 1500-2500 a week. Never a worry but an associate tried 4,000 and was successful, next day I go in for some and the guy off the bat says he had troubles. Somebody froze his accounts or some shit Cuz he was doing to much in qpay. I guess he says he will only sell $1,000 in qpay a day. Luckily im the the only qpay user so he said he will allow me to max him out. This just happened an im finding more an more limits now to libertyx some stores can only sell 1,000 a month. And won't sell me any. Otherwise you can make fake identities im pretty sure on there and use multiple accounts as to avoid the 1,000 daily limit.

At first i was limited to only a shady African lady working out of her house. She tried telling me I had to pay $5 per transaction as tax no matter the ammount I told her that's messed up but aye I gotta get the coin. She started getting super annoying also more locations were popping up so I stopped going. Out of recent desperation my associate went there for about 4400 and at 2700 her Internet crashed or Idk I wasn't there. She tried making him pay for the 27 but he got out of there. I guess he called later and she said she was up and running and had clearance for the 4g's. He may go back there tomorrow and I'll update on our success.

Also im going to get another 1,000 tomorrow from my main guy who's cool an talk more about what happened.

If you read all that sorry for the wall of txt

Just curious why you can't trust lbc to get them quick? I typically sell btc on there, but the guys I use also sell btc and they're fast as can be. Just look at the avg escrow release times for highly rated vendors and find someone like sdawg that has times in the single digits.

Of course one of the times I had to buy coins I used libertyx and it was easy. I don't remember the signup process as my roommate did it, but it seemed pretty easy and painless.

Don't think phone was necessary but I could see them asking for one. Email is pretty well certain to be needed. Don't think ID was needed and I know an app wasn't necessary. They might have one but it's not needed.

After signup you just go to the store, buy the qpay code for libertyx, enter that code into their site, send coins to wallet of choice.

This is all from my experience with them after they rolled it out last year so things could have changed.

Yes.

does it need an email?

No.

does it need an ID?

No, but see below about dollar/day limits.

does it need an app? even a QR scanner scanner...

No. You can use the LibertyX website.

LibertyX has advantages and disadvantages.

The following is my experience with the Qpay/PIN route. I haven't tried the other route.

You will need a phone with SMS to set up the LibertyX account, but not after that, although you always log in using that phone #.

Find a store that sells Qpay PINs for LibertyX. They're listed/mapped on the LibertyX website, but some stores are clueless. I had to try two before I found one that knew what I was talking about, and others have had the same experience. But the second guy knew exactly what to do, and the transaction was fast.

Buy your PINs. Enter the PIN numbers on the LibertyX website, and tell the site what BTC address you want the money to go to. That's it.

You will be limited to 4 PINs a day, $150 a day (!) and $1000 a week at first. To raise that limit, you must give them a name, address, and birthdate that they check against some sort of database. They will also, slowly, raise the limit as you do more transactions with them, even if you give them no personal information at all. I don't know how high the limit goes in either case.

The big advantage to LibertyX over LBC is cost. The stores that sell QPay pins don't charge you, or aren't supposed to. LibertyX says it doesn't charge a fee for the first $1000, then 2% after that. I found that $150 paid turned into $147.50 consistently. Idk, might have been BTC fluctuation, BTC was drifting down at the time.

LBC where I live, the vendor with the most transactions and best rating charges 18%, the gonif. Guys with zero transactions are trying to charge 6%. Also, i would get sketched out trying to deposit cash in someone else's bank account without wanting to show ID.

The main disadvantages to LibertyX, as I see it, are cash limits, and that you might want to observe OpSec while going to their website. Use free public WiFi or something. You can't to it through Tor, because LibertyX operates only in the US, and if your exit node is elsewhere, which is usually is, the site won't connect. (You can edit your Tor parameter files to specify the country of the exit node, but that raises issues beyond the subject here.) You might want to use a burner phone, too, but you probably would do that with LBC as well.

All of this may be woo and paranoia. I have no idea whether LibertyX actually collects IP numbers. If you tumble your coins and buy only personal use quantities, you might not care. All depends on the level of OpSec you want.

I used it for the first time yesterday. Sign up with burner phone that has text. Go to location and ask for Qpay pin for libertyx. They do increments of 50,100,200+

Once you get pin go to libertyx site and redeem, then send coin to anonymous wallet of your choice. The store didn't ask for any of my info.

Libertyx doesn't require any info for 150 per day. Any more and you need to put your info.
