Why isn't there a service, where vendors deal locally through drops? I will expand on this, but want to first say this is just me throwing out ideas. It would be awesome if the community could help me flesh out why this isn't happening, or perhaps how it could best be implemented.
Incentives for Vendors
Local drops sound much safer than sending drugs in the mail. I understand this industry exists because it is doable, but the mail is a point of weakness in this process. This could encourage more vendors, increasing competition.
Easier to sell larger volume of orders. Going from postbox to postbox is (I assume) a major aspect of vending that requires a lot of attention to OP-SEC for a vendor. Random drop locations would be less suspect to visit.
Drug markets are local, i.e. cocaine is priced differently in Australia than in Colombia. This Craigslist Marketplace could allow for larger profits for vendors, especially if they are trafficking the product themselves.
Incentives for Buyers
New buyers would be much less intimidated by this method of delivery, compared to using USPS. This is also a benefit for vendors, as a larger market would allow them to make more profit.
There is even less risk of government intervention compared to traditional DNMs.
Local competition may offer lower prices than traditional DNMs.
You could get your drugs much quicker. Maybe even the same day you ordered them! Hell, maybe just a couple of hours after you ordered them!
People that are used to traveling to their local metropolitan area to purchase IRL may like the option to have it delivered closer to their area.
Incentives for Administrators
This is a new, untapped market. This could revolutionize drug dealing.
This not only competes with DNMs, it could have a large impact on street level dealing.
This could be the last weapon towards ending the drug war.
Your marketplace may be less susceptible to hacking attempts and federal intervention since addresses will be left out of your website completely.
This could make the world a better and safer place.
Disincentives for Vendors
Perhaps profit margins will be lower due to competition and less risk-pay.
Perhaps they are comfortable with what they have now. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"
Perhaps there is a larger possibility of customers scamming.
Disincentives for Buyers
Perhaps there is a larger possibility of vendors scamming
They may have less assurance that the product is what is being advertised, in some places
Disincentives for Administrators
This could be a major target from law enforcement (comparatively speaking)
The territory is a bit less charted compared to traditional DNMs.
What do you guys think? I have thought this over quite a bit, but this is my first time writing it down. I'm sure I've missed a few (potentially major) points, but wanted to get a discussion going. I expected this to have come already, but it hasn't. I figured there must have been people working on it, but I am done waiting. I think it would be good of this community to show that there is demand (if you agree) for this product.
When trying to obtain your high quality sand LE would spring out from behind a bush. I see this is the main drawback.
