Is badmothing other markets effective or worth the effort?

I have heard clams that:

So, is this effective for market owners? Is there that much at stake? Isn't it better to have MORE stable markets so there isn't a single big target for LE?

Naturally consumers want more markets, it means more choice.

Market admins that go around making those "claims" don't give a fuck about what we want (many different markets), they just want to grab as much of the pie for their own market as possible. No matter how stupid of a long-term strategy it is, greed is too overpowering.

If you believe this is the Wild West free market everyone says it is then you have to believe that these tactics are constantly used, especially when solid proof and evidence are as abundant as unicorns.

Are they effective? They plant a seed and the good ones spread like wild fire. Paranoia is rampant here and psy ops plays on that pretty well.

I find badmothing to be quite rewarding
