tl;dr made very poor opsec choices, a person is dead, and the cops want to talk to me and I think I might be in some hot water here
I'm going to lay this out as a timeline because it's the easiest way for me to write up the information. Just makes the most sense to me.
Fall 2013 - Summer 2014
I begin sampling a variety of drugs purchased on the darknet. I make the mistake of talking to friends about this on several occasions.
Late summer 2014
I start selling 25i and on several occasions I have discussed selling it to customers, including Dead Friend (DF from this point on), on Facebook. That was my first big mistake.
5 days ago, about 6 PM
DF dies in his car of an IV meth overdose. His little brother finds him several hours later.
DF's ex calls me and tells me about his death. She also tells me that my name has been mentioned to the police as someone DF was close to that was into drugs. Apparently word has gotten around that I use a variety of drugs, which is the result of several opsec mistakes over a long period of time.
Today, about 1 PM
I get a call from my local police department. I was expecting to be called, so I didn't answer, looked up the number, and realized who it was. They called back about an hour later. I continued to not pick up.
They will certainly be going through DF's phone (though it seems they haven't been in it yet), and they will probably find my messages with him where I discussed selling him 25i.
So, now for my questions on how to handle this:
Is there any way to delete Facebook messages so they're deleted from the message thread of the person the messages were with, too? I am aware deleting Facebook messages only hides them from your message thread, and that the other person can still see them, but maybe there's some way around this? Also, I feel I should mention that me and DF didn't text about drugs, just message on Facebook.
New question - How likely is it that Facebook will be subpoenad to give up information about my messages with him? Do the police need permission from Facebook to use messages they got using his phone in court? Does Facebook allow police to view account info without a subpoena?
Should I delete my Facebook/block DF??? It'll look shady, but then my name would just show up as "Facebook User" in DF's message list instead of my actual name. I should however note that DF has sent me messages that include my first name, so if the police read through it, they'd probably figure out who that "Facebook User" is. Again, any way around this?
Should I call the cops back and play innocent, or not talk to them at all? I figure not talking to them is shady, but I know there's all that advice about not talking to the cops.Several users have commented nothing I say to the police will help me, and I can't imagine a situation where you'd be wrong really. If they bring me in they must have something pretty important to talk about. I will not be talking to the cops at all.New question - If the police call me, am I under any obligation to answer? If the police knock on my door when I'm home, am I under any obligation to even let them know I'm home? And if so, how can I make 100% sure I do not unknowingly give them what the courts would consider consent to enter my home? Also, is there any advantage to not acknowledging the police other than the obvious "don't talk to the cops" thing?
New question - If the police bring me in for questioning, what happens after "I want my lawyer"? Do they give me a phone call or something? I really have no idea what happens in this situation.
I know a person (who I very much dislike for a variety of reasons) that was very closely involved with DF and his meth use. If I flip on him and tell the cops that they should look into him, will that help bring the heat off me? (Please no "no flipping" comments - I'm not taking heat just to keep some shithead I don't care about safe. I'm worried about myself here, nobody else.)
All my drugs and paraphenalia have been stashed away from my home. Are there any other steps I should take to make sure my house is spic and span? Also, given how clean my home is right now, should I let the cops in if they come by and want to take a look around?
There is quite a big of incriminating evidence of my drug use, purchases, and sales on my computer. Should I DBaN my computer, or would that look bad?
Same question as above, except this time, it's my phone, not my computer. How can I securely wipe that info off my phone, and how can I make sure it's gone for good?
Any other advice for me?

TL;DR - Burn your house down, you're fucked
