PSA: Make your username for DNM accounts the same as your PGP username

Please. As a vendor it's such a pain in the ass to have to find your public PGP key and import it every time I need to encrypt a message to you because I can't remember that WhamBamThankYouMaam is lovinit@thebackdoor.org.

It will make our lives much easier if your PGP username/email is the same as your DNM account name/email. Or at least similar enough.

If you really think that it will help your OpSec if the two names are different (doubt it) then please include your public key with every email.

Thank you.

but i like being difficult to find

[3 Points] None:

It's been a typical OpSec procedure to have various aliases since the 90s.

I have a fake email address for my PGP but my names are the same and I include my key with every message I send. I think that's just common courtesy

[3 Points] awwdamnIfuckeditup:

Aww damnit, now I've just fucking realized that my goddamned PGP key has my REAL NAME visible to anyone who reads it! Fuck! I am not good at this darknet thing! >_<

...it's not visible in the messages, is it? Just in my public PGP key, which I can remove from the site (and hope it's actually deleted) once all my orders are safely delivered, right...?

all this backdoor action talk...

[1 Points] samwhiskey:

Some vendors do that. Modernlove comes to mind.

[1 Points] pm_me_spicy_memes:

this 100% goes both ways. vendors that use random pgp usernames is so annoying, having to import keys and cross reference every time

[1 Points] Privakey:

That's logical, and make your Sigaint email the same too, it's not that hard.

[1 Points] WHERETHESTEALTH:

I usually just sign all my emails as my PGP name. Still inconvenient?

[1 Points] technotardo:

I wish I knew what the hell you were talking about. Feel free to call me an idiot(see username) but please fill me in. I use Pgp and my public key is on my market profile however I don't have a pgp "username" and there's no email addresses associated with my public key. What ever do you mean.
