This Agora thing has me depressed and unsure what to do and I also have an Abraxas question

I really felt quite comfortable with the market, the management though pretty silent seemed to be in it for the long haul and I feel did a good job. I have accounts elsewhere but I dont have the anything close to the comfort level I had with Agora.

Now dont get me wrong its not like I didnt see that like any other market owners they could just fuck us all and bolt but they just didnt seem like that was in their gameplan.

I see people saying Abraxas is the same people as Agora and this seems like complete bullshit to me, why would they keep one site up and not Agora? Any thoughts on this?

Ive used Nucleus and my concern is the stories of selective scamming. Middle Earth seems to be run by a guy with a huge attitude problem (re: people putting BTC on and then not buying and him holding money for explanations) so Im concerned about that. Ive heard Alphabay is run by carders and we all see how that worked out on Evo. Ive grown to really enjoy the DNMs but feel as if the rug has been pulled out from under me a bit.

What market will you be choosing?

I don't think anyone has ever said it's the same people. I've made the comment that Abraxas is basically Agora with a better search engine, but no way is it run by the same people. Just similar layout and feel.

Be patient. Agora got attacked (most likely) and bitcoin prices plunged hard recently; things are volatile. There is a lot going on in right now in binary land and it is far too soon to assume that our withdraws have failed or were stolen.

I don't have experience from Nucleus, but web chatter makes me far from comfortable to ever use it. I just joined abraxas and feel very good about it so far.

I have some experience with Middle Earth; the code feels very well written and implemented. The welcome introduction specifically states that accounts may be held if funds are added/moved without any purchases in order to avoid people using their site as a tumbling service; perhaps this is what caused the misunderstanding.

Abraxas & MiddleEarth are what I feel good with atm. Good luck!

I'm pretty depressed about Agora too. Mostly about all the money I lost. I think I've been bitching about it here all morning. Enough that I probably could have made the bulk of that money back...

I need my drugs dude.

Anyway I bounced around a bunch of markets and here are my uneducated opinions. I don't think you can really anticipate which market is going to go bad, apart from obvious opsec issues or administrators that go around giving off attitude, which does apply to a couple I've seen.

There are "stories" about every market, and you can barely ever trust the validity of them unless they're incredibly popular.

But what I have learned is: the second anything weird happens, immediately pull out your funds and wait.

I got caught with my pants down because I was waiting to order from a vendor who is only up for a couple hours a day. When he came up I transferred funds and then... nothing happened. Yup, got stuck because deposits weren't being processed. I should have immediately withdrawn ALL my funds at that point, but I sat there and waited and waited... site went down... waited... site came back up and now I'm fucked.

From now on, the second shady shit starts, I'm pulling. Money is going in and out that day or else.

I'm probably going to be using Nucleus and Alphabay. I wanted to use DHL too, when it clears up. I think there is a relatively low risk using any of those three. For me it's mostly about following the vendors I know and trust.

What is this?

I am currently using the following markets:

Alphabay

Crypto Market

East India Company

I occasionally use Nucleus but I do not trust them that much, same goes for Middle Earth.
