[Input Needed] Is depositing in Nucleus safe?

So I've seen several different posts on this forum and on the nucleus forum reporting a concerning problem: people are depositing coins into their nucleus wallets, and then having their account details changed. However, many people are also reporting that their deposits are all going through fine.

Some people are pointing to selective scamming by nucleus, others are saying it's due to phishing, or just an internal error in Nucleus. I'm not trying to point fingers at any source, just looking to uncover how extensive the problem is. Since nucleus support has, as far as I know, not made a public statement regarding these issues, I don't think there's an good way to determine what's going on.

My goal with this thread is to gather as much data as possible about recent nucleus deposits. So anyone who has attempted to deposit coins into their nucleus wallet recently, please post some info in the comment:. When and how much did you deposit, did the coins arrive in your wallet safely, if not, has nucleus support been working with you to get them back?

Hopefully we can get enough people responding to this thread to determine whether something is systematically causing BTC to go missing, whether it's an issue with the market or an external one, and ultimately whether nucleus users should be concerned about the safety of their deposits.

Remember, whether or not you have had a problem, the accuracy of this thread is contingent on having as many people respond as possible, so if you're reading this, please take a second to help get to the bottom of this. I'll be checking in regularly to collect the results into this post so stay tuned, and thanks for your time.

Deposited .75 btc about 12 hours ago and it was in my wallet within 30 minutes. No issues on my end so far.

I have seen way too much FUD over the last few weeks to trust any market

As a staff member of Nucleus, I can help clarify some of your questions.

1) For the year I've been using Nucleus, I have never had any withdraw/deposit not go through. For me, It's only taken 20-30 minutes max doing either.

2) Nucleus does not selective scam. VRC has no reason to such a thing. He gets a commission per sale. And Nucleus is actually one of the most popular markets at this point due to recent events; the man is making great money.

3) Even though I'm Support on the site, it still takes them 1-3 days to message me back. Sometimes even up to 5 days. You must realize that there are about 200 requests a day that need to be answered. So it's very time consuming. Then there are the duplicate questions... (annoying).

4) I have 2 accounts on the site. One of them being my Support account and the other just a random account I made with a similar name. I didn't realize that I was given my weekly pay to my secondary account in the total of 3 BTC for almost 2 weeks. I logged in a few days ago just to check out the account and the coins were still there. I withdrew them and in 10 minutes, Electrum updated my balance.

5) Lastly, the new forum is pretty much done. It has many features the old forum didn't have. Stuff that will save both Supporter and my time from editing, removing, and banning people all day who make shill accounts.

My final message with staff was them telling me that the forum right now is the priority and that's why Support response is slower than usual.

Hope this cleared things up for you. Best regards,

-Pure

OK, here's my experience. I chose Nucleus over AB when Abraxas disappeared. Mostly because I was having trouble logging in to AB, then when I did I wasn't impressed. Blah blah blah, fast forward a few hours.

So I deposited 1btc 4 days ago even though I needed 2. I saw that 2-20 hour thing and was bothered so I didn't want to lose 2 coins instead of one. So I sat back and read some shit on here, ate, decided to go out for a smoke. When I got back about an hour later I checked the receiving address on blockchain.

The deposit had gone through about 25 minutes after I sent it. But 5-10 minutes before I checked THE WALLET HAD BEEN CLEANED OUT AND SENT TO A THIRD WALLET.

So naturally I lost a bit of my shit then figured "eh, according to the DNM sub it was a gamble anyway." Decided it was a loss, fuck it.

I did, though, decide to get on and message support. So I got on all ready to type out some dickhead message and tell them what scumbags they were and whatnot but... There's my balance. 1btc. So I looked in the deposit area and the address matched the third address that my original deposit address was emptied into.

So I deposited another coin and same thing. Support says they don't change addresses automatically but... That's enough proof for me. I have my shit, I like the interface and it's my new market of choice because a lot of my favorite SR1 and Sheep vendors are there. There you go.

ive never had any problem with nucleus and always received coin within 20 mins or so over the last year. UNTIL my transaction 3 days ago. logged in as normal to correct url. updated wallet address, sent coin, at 2 confirmations it still didnt show incoming transaction. then wallet address changed on screen ( dont know if i pressed new wallet address or not ) 4 days and no response from admin, blockchain shows coin in wallet untouched. very confused, and worried, but it could be a glitch or something on site as i have always been impressed with the site. will update when support message or coin show up.
