I'm still trying to learn PGP

So I have APG installed on my Google Pixel, I created my own key, I'm just so confused how to use PGP and need some training. I have no idea how to send a message to someone, how to use someone's public key to get in contact with someone, etc. I have TurboVPN installed and Orbot and Orfox installed on my phone as well to insure my web browsing is private and secure. Can some one please give me a laymen's rundown on how to do this? I feel retarded when it comes to this, and I assure you, I am not.

Is anybody here going to point out that Orfox and Orbot are NOT secure? At the very least, use the TOR bundle on a PC. Preferably you will take the time to learn how to download and boot TAILS. Until then you have no business fucking with years of your life on the darknet.

Spend some time familiarizing yourself with how the technology actually works and such. PGP is such a basic concept that anyone who doesn't understand it has no business using it. Read about public-private key cryptography, onion routing, VPN tunneling and cryptocurrencies.

Type your message. Select the receivers key once you get it from their vendor page and cross reference with grams. Then hit encrypt. They can decrypt your message with their private key once you send them the encrypted text.

If someone were to send a message to you, they would need your public key to encrypt their message. Then you would decrypt it with your private key.

Make any sense?

Create a key, give the public key to whoever and they give you their own public key. Create a doc and encrypt using your key and adding your friend using their public key as recipient. Voila, an output file is created and that is your encrypted message. Easy as 1...2....3..

Using a burner, with no connection to me, I've tried all the apps I can find, and none of them seem to allow me to import vendor keys from their DNM profiles, copying onto clipboard, then pasting into the app, always gives me some kind of error. So I'm of the conclusion that I'll buy a laptop at the weekend and do it properly with tails.

Strangely, some markets 2FA works using an app, but others won't.

To be honest, the best thing you can do is read the bible, several times, until you know what you're doing, especially in these uncertain times. I'm glad I have, cos my OPSEC would gave been awful if I dived straight in a couple weeks ago, especially as I had a hansa and alphabay account, both registered whilst under LE control.

In Tails - Highlight vendors public key and copy to clipboard ctrl+c. Open Key manager and highlight PGP Keys. Press Ctrl+V to import key. DONE.

Also, if anyone could recommend an app they think would be better for this as well, that would be much appreciated!
