Fingerprint and Glove Type Opsec Question

When packaging / handling illicit items, I wear at minimum a thick cotton/wool winter glove. Usually winter glove + nitryl glove.

There is a lot of material between my fingertips and the items I am touching, so I don't worry about latent prints getting through the thick glove.

However, I have to touch the thick winter gloves to put them on in the first place. Every once in awhile, I am sure my fingertips have accidentally come into contact with various exterior parts of the cotton winter glove.

Question is: Can my fingers leave latent prints on the outside of the winter glove that, once I'm wearing the gloves, are capable of being transferred to a substance that I touch?

More specifically - can a latent print transfer from the surface of one item to another item very easily? All of the research I have done leads me to believe that the answer is no - especially from a porous surface to a nonporous one (winter glove --> package, for example).

And a related question:

Say I've touched a countertop without gloves and left latent prints on that countertop. If I accidentally toss an item (such as a piece of mail, for instance) onto the countertop, could prints transfer to the piece of mail?

SInce selling hard drugs off the DNM ,I get so fucking sketched out that every one is trying to wear a wire on me and all, when I meet certain people I barely even speak, def not about drugs, use hand signals or whisper and say " the phones are listening " one kid got offended the one time. I don't give a fuck.

Plus I use gloves and wipe everything down with chems. the bags that is. TRust nobody. NOt even your homies dude. DRug game is crazy. Heroin blew my town up, I seen dope fiends do crazy shit and always telling on each other, wearing wires for cops for a bundle of dope or 100$ a wire wear.

Fuck that shit. I don't even trust kid I been awesome friends with for years done a lot of drugs with, and he knows it and is so offended by it. I study my customers, I stalk your facebook. I stalk police arrest reports. I ask around.

IF you are breaking the law, robbing people, getting arrested, scamming people, getting strung out on hard drugs, the people you hang out with, history of snitching, I creep up on all that fucking shit, if I find anything I will cut you off in a heart beat.

BE smart. Nobody just wakes up and puts on a wire and takes it to the cops. IT is usually a sick drug addict cops are taking advantage of, or something in a big bit of trouble where bringing the DISTRICT ATTORNEY, MORE FELONY CHARGES, ON ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL, will lower there own or completely set them free, if the charges were substansially better.

FUCK 12

oh but anyways, package in a clean ass room, wearing a bag over your head covering your hairline, secured tight, with the neck of your shirt, arms, torso, and pant leggings, also taped off secured tight. Minimizing any skin cell or hair exposure falling off onto packaging at all, latex gloves, and a tight pair of fabric gloves over those. and you should have nothing to worry about.. keep your packing material and vac seals cleaned too and sprayed off and out with compressor and shit. dont leave things sitting out and open.

i would worry about leaving dna more than fingerprints in your case.

what i used to do:

  1. put these one first

CARA Dermatological Cotton Gloves, Medium, 24 Pair https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CIBQCT2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_TaMGyb1QGDGS3

  1. then put on the nitrile gloves

  2. always wore long sleeve shirt.

SQUUUUUWK

I've always wondered how vendors do this safely.

Everything from fingerprints/dna on the drugs, packing and envelopes. I'm sure the big ones bag all at once and put them in envelopes, but what about when they are posting the packs, seems pretty hard to avoid fingerprints and DNA then? It would look pretty weird if someone was wearing gloves in the middle of the summer while carefully putting packs into the mailbox from a plastic bag.

naw dog you wanna get them fingerprints all over the pack

I wouldn't think you could transfer a latent between surfaces very easily unless there was a good amount of direct downward pressure between two smooth surfaces or the sticky side of a piece of tape was involved. I feel like anything else would just cause a smudge.

I always though people who burned or cut their prints off were fucking idiots. I was actually thinking about this the other day. I think one of the best ways to cover your prints (don't forget the whole palm) is to just coat them with a flexible paint or glue. One thing that comes to mind right away is plastidip. This comes in spray and a liquid can. It's used for reapplying grips onto tools and such. People also 'wrap' cars with the stuff because it'll peel off without damage or residue.

If it were me I would get my hands coated and then MAYBE throw on a pair or two of nitrile or latex gloves ( lmao latex autocorrects to Lauren, bitch was allergic, what a hassle).

Just remember to do your work in a room with negative air pressure and that all body hair & flakey skin is covered. Also keep in mind that prints are skin oil deposits. Rubbing alcohol will remove them easily.

Shave your arms

Just buy a couple pairs of mechanics gloves the non latex non nitryl the ones with Velcro around the wrist

NITRILE GLOVES

CHANGE GLOVES DURING EACH STEP OF THE PACKING PROCESS

if your DNA is on file, that is the FIRST thing they will attempt to find and use against the person they are after, this is how multiple big dogs have gone down

get a doctors mask and wear long sleeves when packing. if your hair is long, get a hairnet or a haircut (I will never support manbuns)

don't lick stamps either

when you are in the post office collecting boxes to use, grab the whole stack with your bare hands, obviously you cant roll in there with your gloves on. be careful to only touch the top and bottom box and KEEP BOXES AWAY FROM ALL DRUGS AND RESIDUE

throw away top and bottom boxes that were touched and put the "clean ones" in a container or other safe spot
