I am having a difficult time finding some exact information on drug trafficking laws in my state. I deal specifically with Xanax, and at any time I will have up to 2,000 pills in my home or on rare occasions on my person (only when going to sell them). Can anyone point me in the right direction for possible penalties for specific states for distribution for Schedule IV drugs (Xanax in particular)? For opsec reasons I will not be disclosing which state I live in. I would also like to know about the possible increase in penalty if I own a gun. I legally own a 9mm pistol that is registered in my name. If I were to get busted, would having a legal gun in my home increase my penalty? It may seem counterproductive, but I never carry my pistol with me when meeting my buyer IRL. I only sell to 2 different people in large amounts, and do not fear a situation that a pistol would be needed... If it were to occur then I am just considering that a risk of doing business that I am willing to take. I only have the gun in my home for self defense, and I own a conceal carry permit and carry it with me sometimes when I travel, but only when I don't have any drugs on my person. I am curious if I were to ever get busted with a large amount of Xanax in my car or my home, if I would face additional charges or mandatory minimums for also possessing a legal firearm. Does anybody know a good place to look for this information for federal and specific state level charges? Thanks guys.
if you goina continue, get rid of the gun
