Forgive my ignorance but given that we now know bitcoin isn't fully anonymous why do you guys continue to take that risk?
Why are you guys still using bitcoin if it has serious security flaws?

Harder to acquire XMR.

Because some people still know how to purchase btc anonymously
[3 Points] throwahooawayyfoe:
Market cap/liquidity, ease of use, ease of obtainability, mass acceptance. The so-called flaws you think of also aren't really that huge in the grand scheme of things, bitcoins can easily be purchased and utilized in such a way as to retain the user's anonymity.

Ease of use. Ease of cash out. Wide spread acceptance. And because we are all low hanging fruit.

Nothing has changed. We have always known that bitcoin is not fully anonymous.
[2 Points] cheapcab:
Vendors accept it.

I will not forgive your innocence. If you are just now finding out that bitcoin isn't anonymous, you are the one creating risk.
just because you can trace every BTC transaction, does not mean that you can trace the owner of every wallet.

It's good enough and the price is more stable than other cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin is still massively used:

Just for the record - I'm on the pro-BU side of things here - AlphaBay also began accepting Monero a few months back. As someone who allegedly receives referral commissions from buyers on that site, I can confirm that essentially nobody uses it.
. . .
Monero sees no use partially because there's little infrastructure around it, and you have to go through Bitcoin to get it. Will Ethereum suffer the same fate? Maybe not, but its use over the short term is likely minimal.
Even when the biggest DNM accepted Monero, nobody used it. Network effects rule.
And see this: Why I will not accept XMR (Monero) as a vendor...
[1 Points] Tiger347:
I suppose for the vendors, they need to cash out their earnings easily.
There is a good market for selling bitcoins, so they can cash it in easily.
The other crypto currencies on the other hand, there may not be such a demand for, and they have trouble cashing them in, and will be stuck with a heap of worthless Monero or the rest.

XMR >>>>> BTC for DNM.
[1 Points] Ploedman:
Not every Market supports Monero as example...

Market tells me to pay with Bitcoin, I pay with Bitcoin.
