Asked to FE on Dream

After making a purchase on Dream market, a vendor reached out to me and said they are currently only processing FE orders, and that if this is too much to ask, that is understandable and that I can cancel the order.

It wasn't a very large order, so I've gone ahead and FE'd since his feedback seems solid and there are reviews on this sub as well. There is, however, a large notice specifying that I should not FE and that he is not allowed to request it.

Is this common practice nowadays? Did I fuck up?

I wouldn’t of done it personally

depends 110% on who the vendor is, their morals, and how they operate their business.

Depends on the vendor. Depends on their rep and feedback. Also does this vendor have FE privileges beside their name? Or no? Lots of vendors have switched to fe only to process orders because of the recent clusterfuck with markets. Just do your research.

Even honest vendors could ask for FE after hard drive failure and problems with wallets. SHould be careful anyway and risk only amount you can afford to loose.

I do it almost everytime on reputable vendors and almost always get hooked up. Only recently have I gotten potentially my first scam and it was with a vendor on Dream who was "trusted" and had FE enabled and had a perfect record on AB.

It's been 10 days since marked shipped and dude lied about it being on the way and then asked for tracking info repeatedly, which was sketch, just sent tracking late last night.

Maybe I'm still 1-0 (not listing how many actual purchases) on scams. Maybe my place will get raided soon because I could have bought from and resent my shipping info to an LEO compromised account? WHO KNOWS?

It's the DNM dude, there's no telling. You'll probably get your shit and maybe an extra.

You shouldn't have FEd. If they don't have permissions on the site it even specifically has a big red box warming you NOT to FE and report any vendor asking you to FE who does not have permissions. Hopefully you get your pack but if you get scammed ngl dude kinda deserved it. Learn from your mistakes.
