Remember when Hansa pretended a server crashed and all vendor listings had lost their images?

I think this was a LE tactic to force us vendors to re-upload all our product images. By default, Hansa removed all meta data from the images. But since they were taken under the control of LE, it was a nice strategy from them to pretend all images were lost and had to be re-uploaded. This way, they could disable Hansa's auto-meta-wipe code and they could capture all the geo-tags or other identifying information from unsuspecting vendors that would upload images containing identifying information in its geotags, thinking hansa would wipe it for them before being published on their listings.

hah holy shit I didn't even think about that but yeah i did have to re-upload all my images at one point. thankfully I had removed all the .exif data.

all of these attacks seem like they are geared towards people who didn't have good OPSEC... the low hanging fruit... we salute you for your sacrifice.

Never trust a market to auto-"anything". All this shit can be done yourself with minimal effort.

fuck! Sherlock Holmes better watch his back, furkin good thinking my friend. see, the fuckers aint as dumb as the dicks that ticket you for speeding etc

I'm not saying they are the sharpest tools in the box, not by a long chalk, but some of the dumb shit ive seen buyers and sellers admit to doing makes it actually astonishing that they are still at liberty.

They want to know what kind of camera I used to make awesome drug porn centerfold shots of some sexy tan and blond MDMA on such and such day? What a bunch of peeping Toms.
