Clearing the Confusion ;)

There occasionally appears to be much confusion about the fees BlackBank has for it's users. This post will clear all this up. All the info bellow is directly from the website, and the words of /u/mdparity.

Deposits: Free

User to User Transaction Fee: $0.01 (USD) + 3%

Withdrawal Fee: 0.0001 BTC + 0.1% (this fee is designed to encourage on market spending, but you should not use BlackBank as a long term solution to store larger amounts of coins)

These fees are right about on par with what other markets are charging their users.

Also for vendors: BlackBank is currently also starting to offer traditional escrow, marketed as "Centralized". Vendors will now have the options of "Multisig", "Centralized", and "Both" for how the funds are stored in escrow.

BlackBank is still open for new and established vendors to sign up, for a fee of course ;) (Ninja edit: Fee has the possability of being waived if you sucessful vend on other sites. Please access the .onion for more info) Please visit the .onion links in the sidebar, to sign up! The market is moving closer to 10,000 users, and is growing quite nicely! This sucessful market needs more vendors!

Finally, please take a visit to /r/BlackBank and the BlackBank wiki for further information on all topics concerning BlackBank. It's looking a little lonely over on /r/BlackBank :(

I noticed that the vendor fee is now $300 USD. The requirements for the vendor fee to be waived is listed below:

  • Minimum 100 positive feedback from an established market
  • An account with at least 90 days of activity

The requirements for a fee waiver seems a bit too demanding. How many vendors would actually qualify for the waiver? It is pretty competitive when Evolution offers free vendor accounts.

Really digging the good communication you guys have been on. Not sure if I made an account or not. It might have been a month ago, but I don't remember many listings.
