Libetyx requiring photoID to even register?

im just getting started with this stuff. figured libertyx was the best way for me to get coins because it could never be tied to my bank account, as long as i purchase in amounts of 200 or less, they wont really ask for anything other than a phone number (burner). i went to make an account today and they are asking for name, email, address, and photo id pictures to even enter the website, (which i assume i need to do to redeem my <$200 bitcoin codes).

I just gave them fake info and a picture of wood, and theyre going to verify me within a day. Is this normal? Do i need to be verified to redeem my <$200 codes? Has the service changed recently and become impossible to use anonymously?

Thanks

This made me laugh so hard. I've never used LibertyX but I'm guessing you won't get verified using a piece of wood as a photo ID.

You sent a dick shot for your ID pic? That's very creative.

Use it this once and be done. No one is coming after you for a 200 dollar purchase of btc. Tumble if your worried about opesec and take a different route next time.
