Has anyone gotten domestic packages with no return address?

Iv been using the dark web for a while and iv never seen a domestic package with no return address. I would think it would raise a couple red flags for delivery men/women. Does anyone else agree that this is a sketchy idea?

The thing is, it's not like mail doesn't get sent all the time without a return address. Or handwritten address, sloppy stamp applications, or any of the minor other little things we look for. Some people even ask (including vendors which is scary) why we worry about such things. And they're right, one of those things will not likely get the letter/packaged flagged.

The point of the whole exercise though is the elimination of risk. Any reasonable step a vendor can take to eliminate scrutiny should be taken. This is called mitigation of risk. The things we look for are so easy to accomplish that the lack of can reflect very badly on the vendor. If they can't take the time to do the small things, what else are they doing to cut corners? Using windows? Deleting instead of secure wiping sensitive info?

No I have not, that is hot as fuck.

Yes that is sketchy as fuck. I have never gotten a DNM package with no return address.

Did that happen to you or are you just asking if that has happened to others?

It's not really that sketchy, but still could possibly, maybe, probably at some point in time raise a red flag. so considering it doesn't help anything you're better off with the return address

I've gotten one with no return address and the stamp fell off in transit

Ive gotten them with really ridiculous names as the return sender, shit like "Imelda Boxe"...I'll never use that vendor again lol

Most of my packages dont have a return address. There will rarely be a return address on packages I get

Got one, only one out of dozens.

Just recently one vendor put my name as John Doe....

It's considered incredibly poor form to give packages filled with drugs no return address. You don't want to give the postal service any reason to investigate your package.

I actually received an international letter, handwritten, with no return address. :)

It didn't really seem that sketchy to me; we have different mail people all the time, and they even deliver stuff for the former residents. I won't be ordering from them again, though.

The domestic vendor I go through for MDMA never uses a return address, doesn't seem to do anything.

Might look sketchy to someone, but in a small envelope with good stealth and a post worker not wanting to lose their job for opening mail, I doubt they care that much.

No return is part of what the usps calls a "package profile" used to detect contraband. If a package meets a few things on this profile list, it gives probable cause to remove the package from the system and further inspection. Usually a dog. It requires alert Usps employees to detect and report packages that meet this profile. So all in all simply no return isn't a huge deal in and of itself. But it is part of the profile used to detect packages. The less you're package fits that profile the safer you are.

I've got this problem at the moment with my packaging.

If you put a real return address, it lowers the chance of the package being profiled on its way to the destination. But if for some reason the package was to bounce, it would go back to said address and they'll more than likely open the package and report it directly to the police. Several things can happen at this point.

Now in the case that you send a package with no return address, you run the risk of adding one more extra tick to the profiled package containing drugs. But in all honesty, there must be thousands upon thousands of envelopes, packages and boxes without return addresses. I know lots of things I buy from online don't have any return addresses. Now similar to my above list, what happens if the package was incorrectly addressed?

That is it, that is all that happens with a no return address. But all packages are eventually opened and the contents are destroyed to protect privacy and items of value are removed then sold at auction. So weighing up between the two, I think I'd rather have my package end up in a dead letter office and be opened in 12 months time, then destroyed.
