I don't understand the enthusiasm for the PO box.

Unless you're registering it with a fake ID or having a random person open it for you, if you're using your real ID to open a PO box you are 0% less secure than just ordering it to wherever you live. Unless you live with your parents or have a frequent problem of having your mail stolen, then you're actually better off just ordering it to yourself. If you think LE will camp out and wait for you to pick up a pack and if you just don't go get it at your PO box, then you'll be fine... You have another thing coming. They have your real legal name, address, and narcotics addressed to you. Expect your door to still get kicked in and your dog shot. Mail sent to PO boxes receives slightly more scrutiny than normal addresses (as many LE agencies have stated before on various platforms.)

Don't trade legitimate security for a false sense of security. No one randomly sends drugs to PO boxes. You can deny deny deny if you get a CD to your real address. Someone must have been using your address as a drop and stealing your mail. Lawyer up. Good luck claiming plausible deniability when you go pick up your pack at a private PO box.

Uhhmmm sir, since you seem really edumacated, how long do you think LE will camp out the PO Box? They have unlimited resources to have cops sitting at the PO for weeks at a time right? I mean especially for 1oz of bud I mean like that is a serious offense right?

Yeah, I literally was on the exact same message with the last guy asking about PO Boxes. Plausible Deniability is super important, and PO Boxes remove that aspect. Once you leave the door, you've shown intent to keep the package. At least at home, you can deny signing for a package you didn't order.

There are several reasons I prefer to order to a PO Box:

  1. They tend to have box mail out by 10 AM so I get my stuff several hours earlier than if I had to wait for the mailman to make his way to my neighborhood.

  2. I don't have to worry about some random and potentially psychotic vendor having my home address, so threats of being raided because a vendor saved my address and reported me are a nonissue.

  3. Many PO boxes receive mail from previous clients who have not been the renter for some time. I never recommend using a false name, but if you've already got mail coming to a box in someone else's name and they don't have a key, I can see where it's plausible.

  4. P.O. Box mail does not receive any more or less scrutiny than any other mail and anyone that says they do is spouting FUD. Mailhandlers are in a constant rush and that 10 AM or whatever time deadline to get mail in the boxes means they tend to only look at the package for the bare minimum amount of time before throwing it in the corresponding box. You also have the benefit of your regular mailman never starting to question why you're receiving priority packs all the time.

  5. If I have even the slightest worry of a CD incoming I can go to the box late at night if I choose since USPS keeps 24 hour lobby hours in most locations, and any cars or anyone else in the lot would stand out instantly.

Tl;dr there is no good reason not to order to a PO box.

Oh and using a fake ID to sign up for a PO box is a good way to get your shit canned, believe it or not postal employees are not dipshits and they are usually pretty good at spotting anything but high quality fakes. Plus you need two corresponding forms of ID to register a PO box so you better hope you find a fake ID vendor that also does shit like university IDs or something.

Not all of us have our own place to have packs sent to.
