Has anyone developed an addiction to a substance solely because markets make drugs so easy to obtain?

Title pretty much says it all. Do you think you developed a habit as a direct result of the accessibility and convenience afforded through the DNMS (drugs shipped to your house, not needing to find real world connections, etc.)? It seems to me that if it wasn't so easy, a large chunk of people who are attracted to the DNMs wouldn't be involved with drugs at all.

Is this true for anyone? I picked up a benzo habit mainly because I was able to source through the DNMs. I am way too lazy and non-social to go out and try to find benzos through a street dealer. I am not blaming the markets for it but I think they made the likelihood that I would develop a dependence a lot higher than it would have been otherwise.

i have developed an addiction to ordering stuff by itself. i dont need another gram of 2cb or another sheet of acid, but I feel insecure about my future. and i feel as if its a race against the clock until my two sources (gg and unclepsychedelic) get busted or retire. no sir, i'll stock myself so many psychedelics my stash will become a ritual of passage among my family. my grandchildren will get to experience nexusflipping, god dammit

Nah. I developed my own addiction due to my own decision to abuse my meds.

Benzoz

I'd say this is ultimately because of lack of self control

The Grand Wizard got addicted to heroin thanks to the wonders of the darknet. Amazing how quickly a few lines on the weekend can turn into daily use can turn into a monkey on your back. Thankfully we have concluded that chapter of our life (having lots of withdrawal meds around definitely helped!) and are hoping not to reprise it.

zannies for sure. Impossible to get where I am without the markets

i've tested benzos out too for 6 months but got rid of that habit. i'm still ordering so much lsd because i lack a local source.

[3 Points] MisterGoldfish:

Yeah, got into alprazolam really bad after discovering how cheap gel tabs of it are no way I would've been able to get that shit without the dnms

Some people are born with addictive personality type and they are more prone than others to get addicted to different things.

Ehhhhhh I have been a heavy drug user since I was a youngun. heroin first then meth. I quit using heroin before DNM were mainstream as they are now. I still get meth online pretty much exclusively, but have no problem copping locally.

I have ordered #4 and #3 dope a couple times online. managed not to get re-addicted. Before I got found out about DNM, I was literally in the planning phase of setting up a meth lab. Not a for profit one, just enough for a couple person bender like once a month.

I am fairly certain this thread is created by feds, and to be honest I support the actions you guys are taking against DNM, to a degree. However, you are looking at the situation totally wrong. People with hope don't get addicted to drugs, ever. Not a single time in the history of humanity has that happened.

When somebody takes the time to seek out the darknet and learns how to use it rather than solving (or attempting to solve) whatever is paining them, that says quite a bit. When they do it again and again, it says even more. It says they are hopeless.

Drugs are not a problem, they are a solution. Look at who the primary DNM user is: almost certainly male, very likely over the age of 18. What can we do to make their future look less bleak? Re-examine how the first 18 years are spent. Perhaps it would be a good idea not to piss away their prime learning years in a government indoctrination camp, only to require an additional half decade of training for a job that rarely seems to manifest itself. Practical job training (along with a job to go with it) would be an excellent idea.

Maybe even like, pay them a liveable wage, one such that they can afford thing of utility (a house, land, money to raise a child, etc) rather than just enough to cover their rent and trinkets. You can only buy so many useless trinkets before realizing drugs by far are the most enjoyable of all the useless trinkets. We reached that point some decades back.

But that's not what you wanted to hear. You were looking for more of a "Yes Daddy plz take away my innernette drugs Daddy" right? Understandably so. After all, you are in the business of taking away people's drugs. Can you point me in the direction of the agency tasked with making the public less miserable?

What's that? Oh, your boss is on the other line, and he's demanding results? Well then, I guess you can just call me back later...

No. I get high sometimes. But are you an addict if you can wait 4 days with no drugs 4 drugs

[2 Points] POKERMASTER666:

yes-i'd never buy heroin on the street but the dark web makes it feel not as scummy

[2 Points] Compoundsdomestic:

I don't think so. in my opinion, some people are born with a predisposition to addiction. Therefore I believe that, in your case, you still would have gotten addicted to benzos. Just under different circumstances.

Heroin. Haven't even got a real life connect. I'm sure it left me with ptsd when ever the mail man walked past sans my much needed pack . 3 years down and now on subutex (dark net sourced) 1 mg a day and tapering...life is good again :)
