Green Road market

Yesterday I was going to make my first purchase from the dark net off the green road so i bought some bitcoins and transferred them over to green road from the hidden wiki. Today I went to spend the bitcoins and the website is down. I now know that this website is a scam and I should have checked it first but will I be able to get back my bitcoins and does anyone have a working link for green road. Sorry for being a noob. Thanks.

A magical magician just performed a vanishing act on your bitcoins and now they are gone forever.

Green road is not a real market. Use the super list. Hansa, Alphabay, Dream, DHL, and CGMC are most trusted right now. DHL and CGMC are invite code only.

You're not gonna get your coins back.

Everyone has to learn and go through a learning curve. A lot of condescending people here.

If you give a friend $30 to hold just in case you need him to buy you something, and he disappears, no matter how many times you ask for your money back, he's not going to reappear. The site is a fake market, so when you transfer money to your account on a fake market, it's no longer in a your bitcoin account (usually), it's in the market's account, and your profile on the market shows the amount of money in their account that is yours. Many real markets work in a more complex way, but very similar infrastructure for escrow purposes. If you click withdrawal, you're relying on the code of the market to send you the money you're withdrawing using bitcoin, and to properly update your new balance of bitcoin stored in your account on the site, which I just explained isn't controlled by you directly anymore, which makes it easy to scam those who are too impulsive to do due diligence.
