Please good vendors don't go to Nucleus (its terrible)

Not only all the problems stated in the other nucleus hate thread but I'd like to add one more, beware of how easily it is for a vendor to scam.

They have a set delivery time. I used it to order a couple of grams of weed with leftover bitcoin and to try out nucleus market. Little did I know that the estimated delivery time of 4 days was how long you had to dispute the order.

The four day delivery time came and passed and I received nothing. I gave it a full 7 days before I logged back in to complain you know because of usps being slow some times.

When I logged back on I noticed that my escrow had already been released to the vendor. I messaged the vendor twice and got no response. Then I messaged admin and he told me in his broken english that if I didn't dispute within the 4 day delivery time funds get released.

Who in there right mind would think to dispute after only 4 days. I've had tons of packages take anywhere from 5-12 days. Admin was really a prick about the whole thing.

If I had researched closer I would have been able to tell that all the vendors feedbacks were shills from himself or the admin that was in on it.

I wouldn't touch nucleus with a ten foot pole. Blackbank on the other hand has been wonderful so far. People need to know what they are getting into. I really hope good vendors don't go there.

i was a level 5 vendor on evolution and nucleus dont want to give me my vendor account back. they reserved it, and now they use it for themselves to scam people with my name! DONT TRUST NUCLEUS THEY ARE WORSE THAN KIMBLE AND VERTO!

IMO everyone should stay on Agora, they are really respected. I think a team that changes servers so often, stays really quiet in the media and relations (forum) has good intentions at heart.

We should expect an imminent closure everyday because thats the risk everyone takes when dealing with DNM markets as we have witnessed about 6 times now, SR1, SR2, Sheep, TorMarket, EVO. Never take the markets for granted I guess and we should move on, but Agora for me has been really stable, banned a lot of scammers really early, stays quiet and puts security first (even if this means a lot of downtime).

Have fun. :)

Shipping time is set by the vendor not Nucleus.

Amazing things are created when there is only curiosity, love and no greed whatsoever. Unfortunately, there will always be greed when you're dealing drugs or operating a darknet market.

No, they charge for vendor accounts i believe, they should be paying vendors to sell for them. Plus, you see all this escrow third paty stuff, i do not like it at all, i prefer payment comes to me, i ship securely, and job is done, not someone making decisions on my behalf.

Thanks for the info!

So where should i set up shop then? Whats better agora?

[6 Points] VolvoShackle:

This is going to keep happening. One market after another.

Oh wow that's really weird because I just myself posted in the Nucleus sub about a problem similar to yours, but worse since it appears on the surface to be an escrow order but is actually an FE order. You won't know that until after it's too late and has auto-finalized, unless you just happen to know the crucial bit of info that digital orders are all FE. You can purchase from a vendor who has "no" listed for FE, so you'll think it's escrow, and after you place the order it'll even say escrow on the order. It's not though. After it's marked sent it will automatically finalize, and there was no sign or warning beforehand that would happen, it just does it. You just have to know the fact that digital orders are all FE.

While it's very disappointing to now have to worry that my money is gone if the vendor doesn't ship, I blame myself since it was my responsibility to know that and I didn't. But damn seriously I did all I could be reasonably expected to do: tried to find some guide to using that market, looked on it's forums and found some different rules here and there but didn't see that rule, looked on their sub but it's not very active, etc. While it's the buyer's responsibility it would be nice to have some safeguards in place to protect people who don't know every last detail of the quirks of this particular market. It should never be assumed that the buyer would know an entire category of listings are FE since I've never seen that on any other market (and I've been on and off the markets for years now so it's not a noob thing).

So now I'm at the mercy of the vendor, and potentially lose a good amount of money, over one tiny error I made that could've been easily avoided with a simple warning saying "this item will auto finalize, okay?" before the system let the order be placed. When I see the vendor uses escrow and the order says escrow I think it's reasonable to assume you're using escrow. That kind of bad experience makes me fearful of using the market again that I'll make a different small error next time. And they lose customers since I take my business back to tried and true Agora for my orders. Eh that's what I get for trying out a new smaller market and trying to give it a chance.

[3 Points] BrianWorthington:

Eh I won't argue that it there is much room for improvement but I don't think it's the scam that some people are making it out to be. I've placed a few orders and all of them have met or exceeded my expectations.

It's a little silly to me that some people get outraged when their experience fails to match the usability of Amazon. DNMs are never going to be that good and Evo is the perfect example of that. When things get really big and popular it will be the main focus of LE and/or tempt to owners to walk away with as much BTC at they can.

Rather than rage about how everything sucks out there it seems much more achievable to adapt to how things are and just become a more diligent consumer. Research your vendors, chat with them, and read everything you can about what you're buying so you know what to expect. If you do that much, I don't think Nucleus' autofinalize times are so terrible. Just dispute the order if it hasn't arrived before time runs out. Seems easy enough to me.

i sell on nucleus and can't say anything to defend it, i much prefer little biggy, where i've been selling for 2 years. BUT if you have a claim like this it would be so much better to document it. proving something like this could make an impact, i for one would LEAVE.

[2 Points] urlocalbudtender:

So far its been working fine for me atleast, fund have been released FE is working, vendor account been verified from Agora and set up for free with in 24hours, Nothing is perfect and anything can use an improvment, but so far its been running smooth, this is my experience, im sure not everyone feels the same, but hey to each is own.

Anyone got Ag ref lnk?

[2 Points] ginger-valley:

Fuck. I just ordered off nucleus.

[1 Points] onlyretail:

I am wondering why people trust Market over Vendor. There are so many vendors who have gained their good reputations already. I don't think they would cheat their customers never, because what they do is to sell drugs and get a high profit. They would not just quit like Evo did.

[1 Points] ITW2015:

There's nothing wrong with Nucleus as long as you check out the vendor you're dealing with. We now have a presence on Agora, Nucleus and Middle Earth. In fact, because of the low volume of traffic, Nucleus uptime means it's the only market we're managing to sell anything on at the moment.

InsideTheWhale - you'll know it's us as we use same PGP keys in all markets.

Many vendors will need to do this to ensure they have their products for sale when the other sites are down (which will be very often for now) with all the migrating traffic. Imagine the workload on servers with thousands of vendors uploading product pictures etc at the same time.

[0 Points] theevoinsider:

you say good vendors dont go but what you describe is the quickest AF time on the darknet lol

[0 Points] noonehear:

Wow never logged into Nucleus and now never will... 4 days is ridiculous. I give a vendor 10-14 days even for domestic before I even begin to worry.

[-5 Points] MuhammadTheProfit:

Alright so what market should I be using? Agora seems to be the obvious answer but do you still need an invitation?

[-5 Points] toastedjelly_:

"If I had researched further....."

Sounds like a YOU problem and not a Nucleus problem IMO

[-7 Points] DnmAvenger:

You are clearly a shill. And you're an idiot if the escrow system confuses you. You have been on here just since the day evo fell, and had nothing but bad things to say about nucleus.
