I remember reading a couple weeks ago that coinbase was deleting accounts that were sending coins to dnm, just making sure this still isn't going on before I make a purchase
Coinbase still acting up?

Has been working fine for me, meaning my account has not been deleted, however i believe the issue people were having with coinbase was the loss of privacy and anonymity because of them tracking what you do with bitcoin. I really only remember seeing one actual post of a person that got their account deleted and it was because they sent money from DNM to coinbase, not the opposite, but there may have been more cases.

Is it okay as a buyer to transfer from coin base to electrum wallet then to dmm? I've never tumbled.

They canceled a btc purchase of mine. Said something about 'after review of your account activity, we have decided to cancel' . I transferred btc to and from evo over summer but nothing from then until my recent attempt. Still have open account.

coinbase is run by a bunch of morons. any kindergarten classroom in the us has more tech talent than they have at their disposal.
They don't have any algorithms they do every order by hand and manage to screw up all the time. mistype, double debit. they've had their ach accounts revoked/suspended for violating nacha rules at least a dozen times.

Yeah, there were a few posts regarding this. If the posts are to be believed (which I have no reason to doubt), its not a "one off" thing. I'd assume that Coinbase is actively auditing accounts to make sure coin doesn't get sent somewhere they don't like. Another point to keep in mind, with at least one of the posts, his account getting suspended happened MONTHS after the fact. I believe his transaction was in April or May and his account was suspended a couple months ago. So its not "real time" per se, they run audits and hit accounts they suspect were sent to a DNM.
TL;DR: Don't assume this was a one-off thing. Its more than likely ongoing. And just b/c you are fine today doesn't mean they won't suspend your account months down the road. Don't move coin directly from Coinbase to your DNM wallet!
