Ordering something to address with mail on hold

This may be a duh/obvious answer and I'm hoping this is the case but just feel strange doing it. I'm going home for break but I want to order something to this address because I believe it will get here either towards the end of break or when I get back. I'm putting mail on hold before leaving so it will accumulate at the post office until I pick it up when returning from break. I'd assume it's still safe to order this (Stealth Bomber, international from German so probably 20+ days, especially with Christmas/New Years/general holiday slowness) to this address just as much as it would be if the mail was not on hold. Thanks for anyone with confirmation/advice that this should be fine. I definitely don't want to not put the mail on hold and potentially get it delivered to my box and stolen out of it (paranoid I know, but it seems much safer to get it delivered to post office and pick up upon arrival, plus Stealth Bomber now does tracking so I can have him see if it has arrived or not from home). Thanks if this seems like a decent option!

By the time it gets to your local PO it well be safe. Unless box gets crushed and contents spill out. Its not advisable for anything that smells (bud) because the bag seals can leak over time.

Just read the title, but anything on hold will be at your post office safely until the hold is up, or if you need to pick up something earlier you can always go down to the post office with your ID and collect the mail while continuing the hold. Or schedule for re delivery before the hold date ends if you do so a day in advance

The reason why I dont choose po boxes in post offices is I dont want my package sitting around those people and longer then it has to. PPlus smell becomes a problem as po boxes are generally opened with a main door from the rear ttoload so if you do have a smelly package it will eminate up while they fill other boxes.

I would just order to the aderess you r living at
