I posted about losing funds to Bitcoin Fog earlier this week. Several redditors questioned my report, saying I was a shill for competitors. I'm cutting and pasting the support messages I have sent. It has been more than a week, the transactions in question have been deleted from the system, and I was forced to take screenshots. There has been zero reply from "support". At this point I have given up seeing my BTC again, which sucks because I'm far from rich. If you still don't believe me, ask yourself this: if this is all shill account FUD, why don't you see tons of complaints about any other tumbler but BTC fog? IMO it's inexcusable that mods continue to list them in the sidebar.
SUPPORT MESSAGES
BTCfog_ripped_me_off: I cancelled my transaction to withdraw 1.XXXXXXXX to my address XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, spread across 6 hours because I decided it would happen overnight so I might as well increase the time to 10 hours. Now the funds appear to be gone and are not reappearing in my balance. I've tried recreating the issue, and I tried to cancel a withdraw under the same circumstances to prompt your database to restore my balance. Nothing has worked. You can see from the blockchain records exactly how much I have deposited and how much I have withdrawn. My balance is incorrectly shown as zero when it should be 1.XXXXXXXX BTC. Please manually restore me the lost BTC. It has been four and a half days since this happened.
BTCfog_ripped_me_off: It looks as though my withdrawal records are about to be wiped. I am taking screenshots, which is insecure since I am storing a record of the very activities your service is meant to obscure. It has been more than six days since my funds were lost. Please restore my 1.XXXXXXXX BTC balance, or send it to my address: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
BTCfog_ripped_me_off: The cancelled transaction is now more than one week old. I have screenshots to prove the failure to transmit. Please check your logs and credit my BTC!
Is it Friday again already?
Where are the screenshots?
I assume the original bitcoin was credited to your account before you tumbled it for 10 hours. The funds don't appear in your balance. They appear in the wallet or wallets you specified as the output. I assume this was a real wallet, and not a marketplace deposit address or an "online wallet" like blockchain.
Friday and Saturday are the busiest days for a tumbler, as you will already know (I'm assuming you're a vendor laundering your takings), so give their support a chance,
You're probably the first vendor to complain about bitcoin fog. usually, its confused customers laundering clean bitcoin into a dirty marketplace for some unfathonable reason. I suspect many are iphone users, because they go straight from the exchange or a blockchain "wallet".
Don't think about using a real tumbler unless you know what a real bitcoin wallet is, and you're using them for the input and output. Otherwise, use grams.
