Fuck am I literally the only one on here who logged on to ME with JS enabled??

It was a mistake but damn, am I really the only one?

Yeah, you are the only one. On a side note, is ME back up and accessible again? I logged on for the first time, deposited a little over a coin, and then the site went down. So I'd like my coin & change back

Of course you aren't. There are buttloads of people that never come here that I can guarantee you went "oh, sure!" and enabled it.

You're fine

Fun fact a lot of the newer community may not know about - no one, including Tor devs, knew about the JavaScript vulnerability up until about a year and a half ago meaning mostly everyone using SR1 did so with JS enabled. We may be on a list somewhere but nothing's going to happen to you.

LoL, don't worry about it. The only time a javascript caused directly ip address leaks was when an old version of Firefox was used in Tor bundle, witch had a pretty complicated javascript engine bugs.

No one has ever had any problems since, and most likely will not. So just turn on JS and browse away with pages that looks a lot cooler ;)

Remember Javascript is also running through TOR. The only way there can be an issue with this, is if an attacker is able to gain access/control of your browser, or worse to your computer. This shouldn't happen that often with browsers like firefox and chrome, where each browser session is sandboxed. IE is for some reason always the culprit in these drive by attacks.

If you still are scared of this strange thing called javascript which people who don't know much about computers always compare to the swine flu, you can set up your entire machine to run through Tor. Then if anything should be compromised, it will still go through Tor network.
