[Discussion] So it actually seems like Defcon is repaying SR2 users

I'm just wondering what everyone thinks about this so hopefully we can get a discussion thread going here. Judging by the amount of posts claiming they had their balance refunded it seems legit.

Personally, I still won't be touching SR2 for a while if at all.

I've received about 5 dollars back. I just got through talking to my friend and he has received all of his funds back.

I got about 40 bucks back just today.

Per my prior thread, still not buying from SR. Transferred my $ OUT as soon as I saw it.

It is going to take quite a bit of convincing to get me to use it.

Doesn't fucking matter. They had 3 MILLION stolen. If it was stolen once, why won't it happen again? Why won't the mods just take you money?

Fuck SR2, it a ghost of SR1 and should be avoided.

seems legit

lol. unfortunatly it is.

What I am more concerned about is the nonexpiring belief in something that 'lost' your money. This "groupthink" is exactly what our goverment wants.

I have a feeling most current SR2 users are under the age of 22.

For many youth (including myself sometimes), it is hard to think for themselves, without emotions getting involved. We are not a very logical generation, yet. At somepoint, this has to change.

The bettter question is, WHY HAVENT THE VENDORS THERE LEFT? Thier money got taken too. Instant reason to jump ship.

I just do not get this whole situation.

[2 Points] mysterybeing:

If Silk Road was really all evil out to steal you're money I'm pretty sure they would have stolen everything not just a little bit, and why would they bother even trying to pay people back if they were scammers? SR being behind the attacks seems much more unlikely than people just hacking it and stealing there coins.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is how ponzi schemes work.

Got ~$45 US back

I got $60 back a few days ago. Didn't really care whether I did or didn't and only went to check a picture of a vendors listing for something I was purchasing offsite. Don't know my pin, so I'll probably buy something for $60. A "free" (considering I credited this as lost) eighth sounds good to me.

[1 Points] heavydruguser:

I got back what I lost today. Only .007, but it was everything I had in my account, so I'm happy.

*I was one of the people saying SR pulled a heist too. But it looks like they're paying everyone back. I will commence eating my words.

I got back about $30 but the problem is I don't remember my PIN. Any way to get it back?

[1 Points] translator123:

I was fully refunded yesterday. Withdrawn with no probs either.

I think it will be interesting to see how many people continue to use SR once they've been paid back....everyone had to stick around and use the site to get their coins back thanks to Defcons repayment plan, but I'm interested to see how many stick with the site now.
