A tip for those who are opening PO Boxes

Make sure to get a test shipment (amazon/etc) sent before you order to your box! I read someone else say their first package to the PO box had issues so I made sure to send an ebay item to mine to test the waters. Well, when I checked the tracking, it arrived to the post office and the tracking said it was "undeliverable". I inquired further at the PO and it was all sorted out, but when the name is changed on the box there are sometimes delivery issues. If I got that on tracking for a pack I'd be shitting bricks calling in, so I figured I'd throw that tip out there.

r/freebies is a good spot for receiving letters/magazines/packages of samples for free. Some people say once you have an address, you can start receiving things right away. I don't agree with that. I prefer to season the drop with all sorts of regular mail and magazines.

Everyone should cristen their PO box before ordering illegal stuff, it's common sense, but at the same time I went and ordered to mine without ordering anything "normal" to it-- but that's just because I'm an idiot and have big balls the size of.. well you get the point.

I'm an idiot and everyone should order something to their newly opened PO box but honestly I've already had quite a few "junk mail" items mailed to my box without me even doing anything. I simply signed up for the text notifications, which by the way ONLY GET TEXT NOTIFICATIONS WHEN ITS REGULAR MAIL NO PACKAGES WILL SEND A TEXT NOTIFICATION (that is, unless you are lucky and have MyUSPS set up with your PO box). I got a few notifications before I even ordered anything to my PO box and I went to check sure enough local pizza places and the usual jesus will save you (irony).

Good advice.

The issue with the first package to a PO Box is that they actually label the box with your name. Any package that doesn't match, will not be delivered. I know this may be be hard to believe, but sometimes it takes postal workers a while to get around to doing things like writing a name down on a piece of paper. You're not any safer once this happens, you are simply good to start receiving packages instead of them be returned to sender. Feel free to start ordering whatever right away.

Some people order clearnet or spam to their box to ease paranoia before they order a DNM pack to their box, although not necessary, so this goes hand in hand.
