Quick question: were *vendors* able to rate users on the original Silk Road? Or only users rating vendors?

I'm doing a podcast episode on the original Silk Road and wanted to make sure that I get this point correct. I know users could rate vendors and give feedback, but I never had the chance to talk to a vendor to see if there was a reputation system for rating buyers.

While it is true you couldn't rate buyers on the site, concerns about buyers and scammers etc were shared among vendors on the vendors round table on the forums. Vendors would also compile, and some share, buyer blacklists.

link the podcast when you're done so we can see it too.

No they couldn’t rate buyers but they could see some additional info on the buyer like money spent on the market and shit like that.

I seem to remember a lot of vendors only offering refunds and stuff if you'd spent over 1 or 2 btc in your time on there, which is pretty funny because that'd be a few thousand now.
