Safety while browsing: have a look at this

This clear web site shows you if your PC is "leaking" your ip or dns, leaks that can reveal your identity. And suggests some remedies (plugin for chrome and a configuration modification for mozilla).

The first time I froze seeing my Internet Provider's dns on the screen while on a VPN.

I found it interesting: https:// ipleak.net

wow.. rly makes u think
What is this shit? Why are you not using Tor browser?

ipleak.net is a well-known testsite to check if your VPN is working correct or not, nothing special... I think every howto about opsec/netsec does mention it? the dns leak while connected to a vpn was one of the top topics on most tech-sites ;)

why did you freeze? ;) nothing new, many vpn providers have the option 'prevent dns leak' in their clients ^ when connected through openvpn client or direct via site-to-site you have to set dns settings on your own..

dnsleaktest is a useful one as well.

Wasnt there an article that connecting to Tor without a VPN is safer than with one?
