Next up in the "As simple as I can make it" series of guides is setting up and using Hansa Multisig using Electrum in TAILS.

  1. Find a listing you wish to purchase and click on "click here to set it up"

  1. Click "Add new wallet"

  1. Open Electrum and create a new STANDARD wallet

  1. Click on the addresses tab in electrum, right click on a receiving address and click on "public Key"

  1. Name the wallet on Hansa, Copy and paste the public key from electrum into the box and click save

  1. Go to: https://coinb.in/#sign

  1. right click on the same receiving address as earlier in electrum and click on "private Key"

  1. copy and paste and private key from electrum and the "bitcoin transaction to sign" from hansa into the boxes on coinb.in and click submit

  1. copy and paste the "signed transaction" from coinb.in into the box on Hansa and click submit

  1. go back to the listing and the Buy button will now be visable

  1. Add your encrypted address and click "continue to payment"

  1. Send the required amount of btc to the address given

  1. And that's it! when the transaction gets 1 confirmation your order is submited to the vendor

Would you say its worth using Electrum? Atm I just use Hansa's multisig
