BEWARE OF SAFE-MAIL

BEWARE OF SAFE-MAIL do not ever send an email backup of your blockchain wallet to Safe-Mail EVER. Just lost $1230.00...and NO I didn't get phished, I never ever use this laptop for anything other than DNM stuff. I Never click on links from emails, never download anything, this is a clean machine.

I've used blockchain wallets for the last 2 years, (with this laptop)never backed up to an email ever and NEVER had any issues....then for some dumb reason after a discussion with a paranoid buddy I decided to back up my wallet----yeah blockchain also gives you a reminder every fucking time you open your wallet to back it up.

emailed support and there's Nada they can do, of course they said I was phished.

Just be safe...but not with email backup to safemail no I didn't use 2fac---I don't want my cell number associated to btc wallets.

You should really encrypt things before they leave your computer.

Old news. Safe-mail has been known to work with the feds for months. Also, OP, I hope you learned an expensive lesson from this: ENCRYPT ALL SENSITIVE DATA.

Sorry to hear you lost all those funds. I really recommend to have a client like electrum. Save the words they give you just in case something happens and you can recover your wallet. Don't trust a website to store your bitcoin.

I'm sorry for your loss, this really sucks and thank you for alerting everyone, this will educate others who may be going the same wrong path of using safe-mail and having unencrypted bitcoin wallet.
