USPS tracking question?

Checked tracking today. Says estimated delivery date is today... but the last tracking update is "departed USPS station" at 5:45am in Tranquillus' home state. My state is quite a few states over on the East coast. Do you think it possibly was just not scanned or estimated delivery date is off?

  1. Try to avoid using tracking. There's a reason most vendors don't offer it. By checking the tracking number of a package shipped to any address in your name, you lose all plausible deniability and cannot say you didn't know about the package.

  2. USPS can very easily log your IP when you check the tracking info. If the IP happens to be yours, and originates from your home address, they almost don't need to conduct a CD if the package is seized. They probably still will, but that's proof alone you were at least expecting that exact package. If you absolutely must check tracking, NEVER do it while in Tor, that WILL set off alarms for USPS, and ALWAYS use an encrypted VPN that does not keep logs.

  3. USPS tracking sucks ass anyways. It's always inaccurate. I checked it recently for something I ordered off eBay. It said it should arrive on the 3rd. It arrived today and didn't update at all till way after delivery. It's shotty at best, so I typically don't even use tracking numbers, even for clearnet purchases, if theyre provided to me.

I bet estimated delivery is off. Most of the time when its leaving the vendors state it'll be at earliest next day. Since you are close I assume priority is 2 days. It'll get to your city prob sometimes today or early Tmo morning. Then from your hub will go to your PO and then out for delivery.

Register for https://my.usps.com and you can check package statuses. It shows you all incoming packs to your address, with the estimated delivery date and a trail to track the package every step of the way. I have it set up so I get an alert on my phone when the package is in my mailbox because I don't always see/hear the mailman. I would recommend checking myusps over your VPN.

Odd, My tranq pack is taking an extra day.

it should go to your local hub, then your PO. In my experience once it hits the local hub I get it the next day or technically same day if it comes at like 2am or something.

Typically though the "arrived, sorted, out for delivery" are on point for me, so I wouldn't have high hopes. Like I said my tranq pack got delayed a day.
