A Clermont man is behind bars after Homeland Security intercepted an envelope addressed to him in Chicago, a sheriff's arrest report states.
A federal agent's K-9 named AJA caught scent of narcotics in an envelope addressed to Michael Crane, an ex con with previous convictions for cocaine and heroin possession. The agent was checking packages sent from abroad at the Customs and Border Patrol sorting facility.
Inside the envelope officials found 104 pink ecstasy pills. The pills are labeled "red bull" on one side and had an image of a bull on the other side. Investigators said the drugs weighed 49 grams and were sent from Germany.
After the envelope was obtained by the Lake County Sheriff's Office, deputies arranged a controlled delivery. An undercover detective knocked on Crane's door on Cypress Short Court, and told the 26 year old that she received a piece of mail addressed to him, but left it in her car, the affidavit states.
She handed the envelope over to Crane with the drugs inside, and he was taken into custody. He's being held in Lake County Jail on a drug trafficking charge, and for violating probation.

Again, if a human being comes and speaks to you about your package. Deny, deny, deny, deny, deny, deny.
