Why do you Deal?

For those of you who are your average "DNM middleman" or below, why do you do it? From what I understand, a lot of middlemen make less than minimum wage, but I could be wrong, correct me if I am. So why put yourself at so much risk for comparatively little money? I'm not criticizing by the way, I just am curious what the motive is.

In my experience people nickle and dime for three reasons. 1) They don't want to go to work but welfare can't afford them the quality of life they would like. 2) Because they think it make's them look cool, watched blow one too many times and want to present that image and 3) They have habits of their own and want to get high for free. I only have a problem with number 2, I used to pick up shitty outdoor from this mmorpg playing fucking dweeb and he always used to go on about being a drug dealer, fuck I just wanted to strike him.

Because it's a decent part time hustle to put a few dollars in my pocket, keep my wife in weed, and make ends meet a little easier in the lean times.

I work hard many hours a week and can just pay my bills and feed my family on legal money. The hustle means we can save, or go out, or buy the kid or ourselves something extra from time to time.

It's like $10600 a month selling to my distributors. I don't think that's minimum wage.

Is this real life? If you make less then minimum wage stick to flipping burgers.

A friend of mine is in college and makes up to 2k a week selling Xanax. That's more most full time jobs.

most middle men aren't in the 'business', they are really just there to get high for free who got a good connect. And of course there are levels to the game, there are a lot of mid level in the pyramid if you want to call it that really only work with 1-2 dudes and have more than enough to pay bills/rent/food/basics and save at the end of the month. Plus working 5 hours a month if that if you want to be generous is quite the temptation

Like that other guy said, to make money on the side while I'm in college, my parents don't help me at all so I have to work 30 hours a week to survive plus full time college student just to live. The side hustle is to go to music shows, which is my escape. Also to treat myself or my girlfriend. I hate starving
