Is it safe to browse, just browse, tor on iPad then use a laptop to make orders, I've been warned not to trust encryption apps but was wondering how safe it is,

If you are running iOS 9 or higher and have a newer iOS device. Then downloading a tor browser for your iPad and using it to browse shouldn't be a problem at all as far as opsec. I know that the Orbot devs are currently making iCepa which is going to be a tor VPN for iOS Devices. Because of all the new security measures and stuff in iOS 9 that wasn't possible before. So it is safe to download a tor app and use it to browse without any issues. If you have any questions or need any help let me know.

iPads/iPhones are not safe to use TOR, when you get the TOR client for them, it does state that its not safe. Or at least it used too, personally I wouldnt use TOR on iPad but thats my personal preference.
