Why are marijuana seeds so expensive (darknet and clearnet)? What's wrong with the seeds you find in bad weed?

Helpful hint: seeds found in 'bad weed' will grow up to be 'bad weed'.

You can take excellent genetic seeds and grow them shitty... or take seeds from middies and grow them excellently. It's all about how you take care of them...

EDIT: Apparently DNM users dont know anything about genetics...

Weed could self-pollinate from stress or outdoor/greenhouse exposure, sometimes you don't want to risk growing indoors to find your female plant self pollinating in your indoor grow room and exposing ALL your other flowering plants to it's pollen.

If the weed you're smoking is "dank" keep her, if it's shitty quality bud to begin with then the seed may not be healthy and should be tossed.

Outdoor mass produced shwag will have bagseed that is more likely to be phenotype II due to cross fertilization from hemp pollen. This is not necessarily a bad thing if the pot is grown well but it will have less marketable characteristics. the ratio of THC:CBD will be more even rather than the drug type phenotype which has a higher ratio of THC to CBD. This makes you more high, although it will have more of a tendency to induce paranoia and psychosis because CBD is a naturally occurring antipsychotic.

I suppose the average grower cares more about profit and thc potency than these kind of concerns so bagseed is avoided. Kind of like during alcohol prohibition when most producers were creating high potency moonshine instead of beer. Hopefully legalization will bring back the days of stuff that still manages to have even ratios of THC:CBD because that's personally what I prefer, especially when it's turned into a nice hash.

Seeds? Try clones. The fam who crossed Girl Scout Cookies wants $10K for a clone lmao

i had thousands of seeds i had collected over years of smoking, only now I'm realising i could of legally sold them on the dnm's. i crushed them all up and used them for fishing bait. they worked. few hundred quid would've been better though

Nothing is wrong wit em.. we grew bagseed once before. get this....It looked way, way better than the bud the seeds came from.

it,s sorta like forrest gump "ya never know what ur gonna get"

say ya plant 20 seeds, 3-4 won,t sprout. 2-3 will die or get killed by something. 5-7 will be males. So then ya might end up with 7-9 females, oh.. 2-3 prob. won,t bud up good, or have time to finish(outdoors).

for your hard work all summer long mabye get 5 nice plants all look dif., and have dif. flavors, (indica/sativa,s) an smells. that is if the deer don,t get em. most growers don,t wanna play around spending money taking those chances growing bagseed.

but if ur just starting to grow, USE EM.

[1 Points] frizzleman:

It is all genetics. If you want to know exactly what you are growing and look up how to care for that specific plant you will ultimately have a better supply.

There are a lot of variables in what a plant is and can be.

If you're buying seeds from DNMs then you're buying feminized seeds. Get any males and you can ask for a refund.
