Bitcoin via Paypal - possible?

Is there a way to make this possible (without excess fees, etc)? I understand that there are risks with chargeback/getting your account shut down, but it would seem to be somewhat possible to do this kinda thing, right?

yes. localbitcoin has a section for that. I never used any other site but I think it is common

It's possible with high commission rate.

The excessive fees are specifically because of the risk of chargeback/getting your account shut down. Sellers will only take that risk if they can make enough return to make it worth it.

Dealing with someone directly or Virwox is the only way I know.

Check out ATOMBIT wallet. Should be available on both iOS and android. I believe you can buy through the app using a PayPal account without having to pay rape for fees

Otherwise check out virwox. More steps involved, but they did take PayPal last I looked

Its dangerous, PayPal is reversible and bitcoin is not. Same reason you can't usually do western union with a credit card.

Its also against PayPal policy

Virwox.com

I just had a vendor on LBTC offer this to me as we were too far from each other for in-person trade... I'm a little worried as my pp is linked to my bank info but all the seller really sees is my name and email... It also helps that the seller seems to be a likeminded darknet/crypto advocate.
