Dear customer and colleagues,
Yesterday out of nowhere our TAILS persistent files became unaccessible. Whenever we enter our correct password it keeps on loading forever, where as we enter a wrong password it gives a ''drive cant be unlocked with this password'' message. We left it running for +- 12 hours to see if it would unlock, but we havent been successful so far.
That means that we dont be able to recover and resume business (ship orders, answer to messages, confirm our identity through PGP, provide track and trace keys, etc) until we have recovered out data.
We have a backup with our data, but due to the holiday season and the location it is stored, we wont be able to do this before januari 1. We know our way around tails, but are not experts. So that is why we are not going to mess around with this by ourselves but will wait for another trusted vendor we work together with to see if he can magically copy/transfer/extract the files we need. But with it almost being christmas, that will also take a couple more days at minimum.
We are truly truly sorry for this mess and will figure out a find to make up for this when we get to resume business.
