Letter stating package has been detained

So, I received a letter (I believe they are called "love letters") from the United States Postal Inspection Service (domestic order) telling me the package has been withheld from delivery.

I question the legitimacy of the letter. I was sent two of the same exact letters. Neither have signatures (don't know if there should be though).

Is my address "flagged?" Will my packages be checked throughout all USPS locations they go through? Or just the location where the package was detained?

Any knowledge on the subject would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Can you post any pictures of it? Sometimes a vendor might send out a fake one to cover up their scam.

I don't believe that it has ever been confirmed that USPS will flag an address. That being said, you might want to consider getting an alternate address if you want to keep ordering illegal things.

After conducting research it is apparent that the state of Colorado is really cracking down on shipments out of the state. Makes perfect sense though.

I've never heard of a USPIS Domestic love letter. If they seized your package they had to get a warrant to open it and detain it. If they went through that trouble and had enough probable cause to get the warrant, you are getting a knock, not a letter.

"love letters" are from Customs. I've gotten dozens of them over the years. They may flag your address, but I've literally gotten a love letter on the same day Ive gotten a reship and received several other packages over the next few days fine. Maybe if you rack up a LOT of letters or start getting major quantities seized you get a knock or really flagged. 99% of the time its because someone used poor packaging or because someone dropped a LOT of packages in the post at the same time and they were suspicious.

Send yourself laced packages...just brush some weed on the inside your envelope. See if they come through. Just a thought.

There is no master list at customs. It would require too much time and manpower.
