Lost BTC?

Hi,

I made a sale on a DNM and the coins were sent to a wallet that I don't have access to. I imported the address as "watch only" and can see the transaction/my coins but when I go to withdraw it asks for the private key. Is there any way I can get this money?

i'm assuming you're using a blockchain.info wallet? if you don't have the private key for that wallet address, then you're fucked sideways. there's no way to get those coins back unless you know the person that does control that wallet. if you do have the private key, then import it into your blockchain account and you should have access to the wallet.

Unfortunately you must have access to the wallet OR the private key if you are using offline storage. Why don't you have access to the wallet ? The private key proves you are the owner of that address and without you, you can't withdraw money, only deposit. Generally speaking, if you are using an online wallet, you don't have the private key to the address itself b/c its managed by the online service. If you are using say a BitAddress wallet, you then would have both a public and private key. In the BitAddress case, withouth the private key you are SOL. If you are using an online wallet, you need to log in there and send funds to the wallet you want.
