Shipping pills: In original pack, or not? Why?

Is there a specific reason why sometimes vendors will take the pills out of their original packaging (e.g. blister packs) for shipping them? Is it some sort of going through customs OpSec, or is it just for personal convenience for some vendors?

Because blisters rattle.

Son, please attend and graduate 11th grade and things will fall in place for your inquiry.

In addition to what the others said, sometimes (legit pharma) blister packs are marked with ID codes, which make it possible to trace their origins.

Because believe it or not the blister wrapper itself contains a tin alloy. This can be detecting by a metal detector if they choose to do that. A vendor back in the SR1 days got busted by that since they were profiling his packages.

Edit: probably because it rattles too.

Because they are making the pills themselves.
