Why is this ok?

I saw a post where someone had ordered from a vendor and they lied about shipping it out only to ship it out like a week later. Everyone on here ate that guy alive tho for complaining about it. Why is it ok for a vendor to do that? I would have been pissed. If a vendor marks something as shipped it should be shipped.

Because when your waiting a week for your pack to even be prepared the vendors are on here roasting ops alive for job security to further impose to the community that buyers have No rights or guarantee of anything.

Sounds stupid. Everytime I went for express, I got express. Wouldn't deal with anything else.

It's not OK. But as a vendor I'd like to point a few things out:

I saw that post this morning - yeah, that vendor was definitely wrong. I've done e-commerce sales (both legal & dnm) for years now, and if someone pays for express, especially paying $40 for express (its $22.95 for flat rate express), that should pay for the express shipping + the expedited handling, which should make it go out that day if possible, or at the very least next day. I did this for almost every single one of my customers - if I didn't I would let them know right away, and I would DEFINITELY get it out the day after that or refund the customer.

I feel like right now that the markets aren't stabilized enough for competition to push the bad sellers to the bottom of the pile, so for the moment we have to stick with this bullshit.

Sadly lots of vendors do this. They'll mark shipped to release funds and then take their own leisurely time. It's annoying as fuck.

[3 Points] now_its_a_dick_joke:

Traditional economics applies here. If a vendor does this he or she should not be rewarded in their bad behavior. Inversely if a buyer acts in a stupid way then they should be condemned for such behavior. Paranoia is no excuse for FUD.

The only Advantage goes to the vendors for constantly maintaining accounts to further their credibility. buyers are one-offs in most occasions due to the infancy of this entire program. Therefore vendors get the benefit of the doubt rather than the buyer and they know this. We call this in the real world a seller's market. But I'm no economics major and this is none of my business.

Edit: after casual analysis of the sub I have concluded that vendors not only have the wherewithal and brazenness to selectively screw over those they can while maintaining plausible deniability to those who use the DNMs, they have the money to continue doing so under different pseudonyms... Cough cough AK Quantik Pelican etcetera etcetera

"this" is a perfectly cromulent word, so this is OK.

I would have been pissed. If a vendor marks something as shipped it should be shipped.

I agree. Also, the "confirmed", "shipped" status is as much for the vendor as the customer, so we can remember where we are with every order. Vendors like that have to have a separate (real) status written down for all his orders. Or just assumes he will remember it hasn't really been shipped, then forget.

It's bad, but no excuse for hitting the bottle and getting drunk.

Get angry by all means, but you can't go out and get pissed every time an order is late.

/u/ExpressDude care to comment on any of this? You ship express so I'm curious as to what you have to say.

[1 Points] pomegrapely:

I think shipping a few days or so after an order is marked shipped is fine for opsec but a week is excessive.

Something can always go wrong with the process. I've had ordered I've had to wait a month for becuase they didn't have the listing in stock and hadnt changed updated the listing. Ive had orders take an extra week than they should becuase the vendor had so many sales to deal with.

The problem is lack of communication. If I was a vendor and I knew something may take longer than it would I'd try and message the buyer as a lot of buyers are impatient AF

It is not OK, but what are we supposed to do? You are at the mercy of this guy. There are no guarantees and no one will care if your shit doesn't arrive.

It was shipped on a Tuesday rather than a Saturday with Sunday being no shipping and Monday being the fourth of July. It was literally one ducking business day late it was not a huge problem.

We're still in the early stages of these substances being more available online. Things are better now than they were in the first couple of years and we just need more time to let these things work themselves out. Market forces will take care of this over time. As more vendors pop up online and a few are doing things the right way then customers will flock to them and others will have to follow suit in order to stay in business.

I think that vendors sometimes lie about pack shipment to throw an extra layer of confusion in the mix, in an effort to avoid having their packs profiled.

Also, we are talking about illegal drugs in the mail, not a pair of sneakers from Amazon. Your 2CB is not coming from some warehouse full of employees with a direct connection to a delivery service. God knows how these vendors get those packs into the system. I personally don't mind an extra cautious vendor. Patience is truly a virtue in this game. I think custy's shouldn't wait 'till the last minute to order and expect the vendor to be in just as much a hurry as they are. Most vendors are just regular people too, with jobs, wives and lives.

try being a vendor, lets see if you last 3 months
