Colorado Sent Me A Tracking # Before He Exit Scammed.... Is It Fake?

I placed an order with Colorado about 3 weeks ago before his exit scam took place. He marked it shipped 2 days later and when it hadn't shown up I messaged him and asked him whats up. He sent me a tracking number that I checked and hasn't updated since it was accepted by USPS. I accept that my money is gone but should I expect a knock at the door? I have not recieved a love letter and I already cleaned house just in case. Is there any way you can somehow create a fake tracking number that displays what you want it to?

Edit: The tracking ended at "Departed Post Office"

He probably sent one shitty, stinky, misaddressed, package and then sent everyone that tracking number.

He never sent you anything at all. You're OK.

Clean house. It's most likely that the order was simply never shipped, and most of the time USPS marks the package as received. I think it's very likely that the vendor picked up your tracking #, and then didn't ship. However, stay clean for a week or three to ensure that your package wasn't intercepted at the originating shipping facility.

accepted by USPS

Which status? He could have printed the label (which produces a status) but never dropped off the package.

Some of the smarter scammers will send an empty box or something similar using tracking to an address near you. They do this so if you dispute, they'll have the proof that they sent something and the admins will more likely side with them. They get the money and you get the shaft.

I'd clean house and not take the tracking too seriously. You, and us, have no idea what he really did, so best to be safe on this one. A little paranoia has saved more than a few DNM users in the past.

Clean house yesterday.

I seem to recall reading on this sub a few days ago that Colorado is in fact LE (or LE-compromised). Someone got a controlled delivery after ordering from that despicable fuck, it appears.

Clean house – all contraband should stay w/ a trusted friend (or flushed/disposed of if you wanna really be safe).

Been using TAILS/Tor/Encryption? I hope so. Otherwise backup your data & software, wipe your harddrive clean w/ a few passes of 0s and 1s over the whole thing, & do a fresh installation of Windows or OS X or whatever.

Also, be aware that LE will literally destroy your property during a premises search, so delicate valuables would be best stowed with the aforementioned trusted friend if possible. I don't mean to freak you out & you shouldn't panic, just be prudent & lay super low for a few weeks, wait it out.

Finally: if you ordered a relatively small amount, you probably have less concern than if you ordered a weight that would fetch a possession with intent to distribute charge. Meaning to say: if they have reason to suspect you of being a middleman dealer, you're a much more appealing target to them.

Mine says the same thing it departed and has not shown up yet. Idk what the deal is.

Clean house, do not open box for at least 2-3 days

Never admit to ordering anything at all- you weren't expecting anything. If they can prove you were tracking it online you may be in trouble though
