Canada Post Delays?

Since they deactivated tracking on registered letters, it's been a pain for my partner in Canada to get a hold of things. A package was tracked from Germany to Canada, apparently arriving on Nov 4/15. Now the thing is there has been no update on any tracking website that he can find and the other packages have reached their destination despite arriving in the country on the 5th and 6th. This pack was the lightest of them all (thank fucking god), so it's weird if it was customs that stopped it due to that fact.

Anyone experiencing unrealistically long delays with package deliveries in this country? Quite frankly we're not sure what to do. Burn house? Any information you have about potential delays or changes in policy, or anything would be very valuable to us and the community I'm sure.

Thanks.

In my experience with Xpresspost, sometimes my package has been "Out for delivery" or in my city for many days at a time. You'll be fine.

Also, an order never showed up my house. It's been over a month now, but I've received other packs. Pretty sure CP straight up lost my pack

I Canet say for sure but my sense is that things may be taking longer than usual around here. I ordered a dnm package aroubd nov 2 that still hasn't arrived, although in thinking I probably got screwed with a new vendor on Abraxas just before they closed. Although it was marked "shipped" two or three days before the market's closure. Also though, some non contraband things from China. Some have arrived but others are taking forever.

Wonder if the canadapost restructuring, with the talk of ending door to door, now reinstated since the Trudeau gvnt elected.. Wondering if that all has anything to do with it. Seems to me like there might be sone unusual delays going on. No conclusive answer, but I was wondering the same thing

That is odd cause I have had packages come extremely fast lately. Had a pack come from Africa in under a week
