PO box, did I do something wrong? also, OPSEC questions

rented a box a few weeks ago for darknet purchases. made my first purchases on the 16th, two orders from two different vendors. one marked shipped that day, the other the next, and neither have arrived as of this evening (the 27th). I knew not to expect it in the usual 2-4 days, but I find this unusual. anyone have any advice? I just messaged them for the tracking info since they both auto finalize in a couple days.

maybe I'm just being impatient, but I should dispute regardless if I haven't received either of them by that time, right? if it were just one package I'd just chalk it up to the post being slow, but strange that neither have arrived after almost ten shipping days. this is how I formatted the shipping info, but I can't imagine that's the problem:

Name

PO Box ######

City, State

Zip

also, is there any added risk with a PO box? is it really advisable to have non-DNM things sent there? any suggestions?

You should probably let a Po Box 'season' for a few months while signing up for zines or catalogs, purchases or actually forwarding your mail there before sending sketchy shit to it. If the only things you have sent to it are contraband then you probably fucked up. Who rents a box to get a few packages every once and a awhile?

Why people order more than one illicit package in one go is beyond my realm of comprehension.

Actually you should be using P.O. boxes for DNM purchases (bulk purchases at least). They have an extremely high success rate for mail delivery since the exact p.o. box address is known to the post office (so there's no address problems), but the names on boxes change so much that a made-up or incorrect name is less likely to cause suspicion.

Also most p.o. box place are open 24/7, meaning you can get your bulk packages at 2 am and easily perform surveillance on the area.

Are these both domestic packages? Priority or first class? I think you're still good, making your purchases on the 16th means they probaby weren't actually shipped till the 19th 20th 21 etc, and priority mail seems to be taking 1 week now for everyone. So I'd expect it any day. I have a feeling monday and tuesday are going to be huge delivery days for USPS.

You definiltey do not want it auto-finalizing. You'll need to dispute before the time is up. When you dispute, simply state the reason as pack not received yet, need an extension. I wouldn't worry too much at this point. It is running pretty late, BUT you don't know when the vendor actually shipped. Its not a secret that some vendors will mark an order shipped but not actually have dropped it in the blue box. I think vendors have a different definition of what "shipped" means. In some ways i wish there was some analytics provided that showed average time an order makes it from the time it was ordered. Of course there might be opsec concern on doing that and opsec trumps all. What does the vendors' reviews say on shipping times? Sometimes people will note if its slow or quick.

Worst case, you have 11 days you've been waiting. Holiday season PLUS fact vendor may not mark as shipped means you shouldn't worry quite yet.
