Safe to order over uni internet?

So I'm a uni student living on campus in the Uk. I will be travelling home in about a week for around 5 days and i want to get an order that will arrive while im at home. However, the product i want is international so it may not arrive in time if i order it on my 1st day back home Is it safe to order over uni internet? Its just an ethernet cable and there doesnt seem to be any limits ( parental lock, torrenting etc.) thansk

University will know that you're on TOR. They won't be able to see what you're doing, but they'll know you're on it.

If you have your own uni user account they will be able to see that you are accessing Tor, which may be flagged depending on how savvy the tech guys are or if the ISP has any sort of restriction, if you're going to do this use a VPN to hide the Tor access and you should be alright, additionally you should be careful as you're putting your future at risk by getting it delivered to Uni, if it is picked up, ripped (revealing the contents) or smells so the uni mail room operator takes a look at it then you're fucked, no excuses.

If your uni runs a pure, plug in the Ethernet and your good to go then i wouldn't be worried. If it's tied to your uni user account then i would I would recommend using Wireless if possible because then they cannot track your location down.

How come you can't just go down the street and order from a cafe's free Wifi?

Tails + Public Wifi is #1 Tails + Uni Internet (not user login) is #2

I work at i.t. for a big 10 school and we dont give a fuck what kids do on the net. Given we have net logs that go back 15 years on disk I wouldn't be worried. I use tor all the time on campus net.
