Let me say in advance, this is my first post, so forgive me if there's any formatting issues. I have been lurking around here and learning for a while now and finally decided to join in on the fun.
When I look into going into a new line of work, I always do my research first. I learn the ins and outs for months, maybe years. I learn the profit margin, the risk, which one outweighs the other. I read about people who have done it successfully, and people who have failed and what they did wrong. I learn about the consequences of it. I love it. I consider myself a student of crime, if you will lol. Anyway, one endevour I was looking into a while back (and decided the risk and consequence outweighs the payoff) was counterfeiting. One interesting thing I found was this:

I post this here because I know many vendors prefere to print their own postage, and if this applies to you this is something to consider. While I have never heard of this technology being used to track vendors, the means to do so are there, and to me good OPSEC is not only looking at what we know is being done but looking at what CAN be done. I have searched this subreddit and hadn't found anything on this so I thought I'd share with everyone.
TL;DR: Buy your printer cash, leave no trail
