Does any one else think that it pretty dumb

Ok so alot of trouble goes into making sure DNMs are secure. so why is it that every one comes over on to the world wide open web and talks about not only the markets but vendors coming to advertise also. I mean it just really doesn't seem like that great of an idea. Well just coming over here to the .com side to talk about what trying so hard to keep out of the open maybe I'm just the dumb one i don't know

Look up the phrase Corpus Delicti and understand what it means.

It doesn't mean that you can't convict someone of murder without a body, but it, combined with things like the USA first amendment, means that just getting on a clearnet site and discussing illegal activity -- even admitting to your own, is nowhere near enough to get you in trouble.

Most people aren't so stupid to reveal enough information about themselves and their activities that they could be chased down, or even enough that it would be worth the effort to try.

That said, I think it's the opposite of dumb. What people are doing here is building a really gigantic community that helps one another by adding the knowledge that they have to the pool of common knowledge. It helps keep people safer, not puts them at risk. There are over 31,000 people here now, many of whom learned everything they needed to know about how to safely use markets by reading the experiences of others.

Doesn't make much a difference aslong as your OPSEC is on point. LE monitor clear net areas like reddit just as much as they monitor the dark net ones.

We are not trying hard to keep it out of the open. Its been in teh natonal and international news pipleine mulitple times. The security of DNM does not rely on the links being kept secret by any means. If anything its beneficial to have more traffic on them.

The operational security peole worry about is regarding staying anonymous. Posting on reddit does not blow your spot even one bit if done right.
