Don't be like me...

I sent ~2.0 BTC to a wallet I've forgotten the password to.

It was a randomly generated 63 character ASCII string that I saved to a text file and forgot to transfer over to my password storing application.

The worst part of it all is the money isn't mine so I have to use almost half of my tax return to pay it back.

Don't be like me kids, check your wallets before sending to them.

My general rule before I send BTC to a wallet is to reset the password with the same password I already had, if that makes sense. Then you're sure you won't be in this predicament in the future. Sorry bout the loss.
