I saw in another thread that there are newer USPS blue boxes that has smaller openings (like 1/2", too small to fit a small flat rate priority box). Can anyone confirm this? When did they start changing these out? And when will it be done everywhere? If this is true, this could be bad for shipping larger items.
for those of you that have seen them: how many are in your town? does it appear that they are being consistently added? is it only near busy drop areas such as post offices? or is it everywhere?
