How do I stop CUSTOMERS from scamming a VENDOR?

Usually you here about "Oh this vendor didn't send my package" or "This vendor sent me a empty box" but you never hear about the vendor side of things.

I am not revealing myself as I want to keep my identity private.

What will happen is a customer will order a package, I send it with the correct information they gave me, and then they dispute the Escrow charges 3-4 days later and they have all won there coins back!

I just opened shop a week ago and this has happened 3 times already. I'm losing my patience.

Do I need to go FE or get tracking on the packages?

Tracking would help your argument with the dispute. Had vendors screw me that way a couple times.

Make priority flat-rate shipping the only option. It's less than $6 for most reasonably sized orders, and it comes with tracking and $50 in insurance. Not to mention you can get free mailers from USPS, cutting down on your shipping costs if you were purchasing them yourself before. This is what almost all vendors do

Like others have said only ship priority. Reputation, if it's good, should protect you if you can show it was delivered. Obviously a scammer doing empty boxes can get away with it a few times but once complaints become consistent it'll become apparent what's going on. If you have a good rep disputes should go your way. I'd never order anything something other than priority tbh.

You could also do some customer screening. Require a certain number of orders from your customers and check to see what their dispute rate is. Some vendors I've used do this. It's not foolproof but it prob helps.

I'm a customer who had a vendor accuse me of giving him a bad address when his pack was sent back for bad number. I know that wasn't the case though, because I just encrypt the same damn address file every time.

Abraxas gave him the escrow. NoStress is a bitch.

Always use tracking and make sure the customer knows it. Most customers won't try to scam if they know there is tracking and you post in your profile no reships/refunds if tracking says delivered to the address the customer gave you.

[1 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

Tracking sorts everything out. It will force you to post things.

I've never been ripped off by a DNM customer. That's some bad luck you're having there. I hope it improves.

If tracking is available at reasonable price - and almost anonymously, then use this as an option. Some countries doesn't have tracking available at only a few $ (in DK its $20+ for a simple letter, which us buyers have to pay when ordering). But then you should offer both options, simply untracked with no way of disputing a no show or seizure, and a tracked shipment which costs the extra amount, but then there is reship available if a no show. (its important to write this in your vendor profile if you want the dispute to go in your favour. Especially the no refund/reship policy on untracked orders)

This should scare of most of the scammers as they know they cant dispute a tracked shipment or require any refund when selecting cheaper untracked shipping. But I most say I'm surprised at how many scam attempts you have been exposed to so shortly. I did not know this happened that often! I thought it was something that happened just once in a while.

But also, the reason you are losing your disputes is probably because you are a new vendor and therefore doesn't have a good reputation yet.

[1 Points] GrandWizardsLair:

What markets are you vending on? Everywhere the Lair has set up shop disputes have gone between 2-3 weeks. The Grand Wizard can't imagine any market returning escrow within 3-4 days: we've had priority packages take 2 weeks to get here as a buyer and to arrive as a seller.

I recently placed an order with a vendor for 7g of heroin that was around $800. When the vendor didn't ship out in a timely manner I opened a dispute. The day after I got the package, the vendor admitted in the dispute that he was unable to find my tracking number, apologized for not sending my package, and agreed to refund my coins.

I never imagined getting 7g of free dope would make me feel like such a shit human being

I'm surprised you don't already have tracking. USPS provides priority flate-rate for like $5-9 depending on this distance.

Have specific FE listings that are slightly cheaper to accommodate the trust needed.

Edit: I mistakingly included regional box a/b/c with priority flat-rate, regional box a/b/c will have varying prices depending on distance
