I'm doing the bear minimum, am i safe?

Hello DNM! Lately im getting a little paranoid although i haven't made any extra precautions. So pretty much i buy my bitcoins from coinbase then sending them to agora (no tumbling no nothing) i am a small time user... Is a person doing the same thing as me safe? thanks

Just ask yourself what makes more sense, taking a little more time in the name of extra security, or potentially suffering criminal repercussions which could affect you for the rest of your life. Mixing your coins is a simple step that can really give you that much more peace of mind.

you are making the rest of the buyers a little safer, while putting the vendors at risk. this is called the low-hanging fruit. by being nice and easy to pick you provide safety for people that have a better idea of what they are doing and are not lazy or stupid. so when you're in jail thinking, why oh why didnt i tumble, remember: its because you are too stupid and lazy; you are just a sacrifice. Just please don't order from any trusted vendors, as you are putting them at risk by not tumbling.

How has nobody suggested you put the bear's needs first? If you just do the bear minimum and ejac and evac every time you're in for a bad time.

I've read so many posts lately from people not tumbling, asking if this and that is really necessary.....YES it is. Just because the takedown was 6 months ago now doesn't mean people should be getting complacent.

Always tumble OP. Sorry if I sound harsh but this shit is frustrating!

It depends, what kind of bear is it? Black bear, brown bear, polar bear? because if its a polar bear than you are absolutely fucked.

Think of it this way: The less you have for them to trace, the less they have to use against you to find the next guy up.

Quite honestly, the steps necessary to be secure are really fairly simple and quick. It would only take you a couple of minutes to send the coins to a blockchain account that you only access through Tor. This is your life you're talking about here, and it sounds like your main opsec consists of hoping the cops don't care enough about you to bust you. If you're a small time user, then chances are you're not going to actually get arrested. However, remember that once your address is burned, you can't ever use it again. But if you're comfortable half-assing it, go right ahead
