Package is nowhere? Delivered?

I have tracking for a DNM order that states the package was delivered to a "front desk/reception area." There is a front office where I live but they claim to have received no package. I know the address isn't wrong because i copy and paste the same one everytime.

Thoughts? I'd rather not have that package just floating around with my name on it.

Does it say it was delivered today?

I've had USPS tracking say that it was delivered on a day only to have it show up the next day. It isn't very common but it does happen.

The only other alternative is that the front desk is lying to you, but I highly doubt management of the apartment you rent would be stealing mail from their tenants.

I just wait a day or two. If the mailman still has it they should deliver. otherwise it was stolen.

There is also the possibility that it was delivered to the wrong place.

Wellll, if this package never turns up is it best to just consider it lost and stay clean for second? If this address is burned its really just fine cause im moving soon.

hey man what ever happened? I am going through the same shit and my package also says it was delivered the 8th but of this month

Call your local post office and tell them whats up. They will figure it out with the delivery driver.

there is another possibility. it is possible the vendor sent an empty letter to your general area with tracking on it to scam you. that way it looks like it's en route but got lost by your postal carrier right before arriving.

i don't mean to make this sound like a scam. odds are it's not. i know i've had problems with postal carriers losing items i bought legally, yet they'd show up as delivered. it's rare but it happens. but some vendors have used tracking scams so it's something to keep in mind.

USPS messing up all the time. They deliver billions of pieces of mail a year but manage to lose 1% of them. That's millions of pieces of mail! Anyways yours probably got misdelivered or it's laying around somewhere. How is it that you have the general area it was delivered to? Vendor using UPS or FedEx?
