Vendor: Opiate-Rx
Product: "50 x Mbox 30's: Mallinckrodt 30mg Oxycodone"
Price: $290
Shipping: US, domestic to east coast, only took 48 hrs
Weight: 5/10 (explained below)
Potency: 5/10 - oral ROA gives minimal effects in comparison with real oxy. If you can deal with the fact that these are underdosed, the high is a stoned high unlike clear minded energetic high of oxy. There is some euphoria but it's not the energetic euphoria of real oxy. I was able to nod on them, but at a high (and irresponsible due to unknown compositon) dose.
Stealth: 10/10 - clever decoy, I'll give him that.
edit with update at end of post on Marquis and nitric acid reagent tests that I did
The vendor is advertising these as 30 mg oxy pills with Mbox imprints (Mallinckrodt) that he has pressed himself with real Oxycodone HCl as the API and NOT another active ingredient. He says there is no fentanyl and it is pure oxycodone HCl that he's mixed with excipients. His listing page has a wide variety of claims - * that he sources kilos of oxy hcl and is very well versed in compounding and pharmaceutical manufacturing * he also can get hydrocodone hcl which will be available "next week" but he's had that up for 3 weeks and there's no listing for hydros * he has or had another vendor account from which he sold xanax presses * he is very skilled with drug synths, and specifically synthesizes 30 different anabolic steroids and synths HGH and has "irrefutable evidence" * he presses these mboxes with excipients that are superior and more expensive than the ones that Mallinckrodt uses
All of these statements are complete bullshit. He throws out these blanket statements, with no actual proof to back up any claim. He clearly did some research on how to use pharmaceutical terms correctly, but the research is not reflected in his product. The part about the excipients is plain stupid. It's his pre-planned response for people asking why it burns when insufflated, or even just swallowed. A caustic substance that fucks up mucous membranes is definitely not the norm for designing pills in pharmaceutical industry.
As I said above, the high feels "dirty" as other honest reviewers have described, pretty synthetic. I've done all types of opiates, and synthetic opioids including U47700, fent, tramadol, tapentadol, and more. I am very well seasoned with real oxycodone as well. This is not fentanyl from what I've experienced. However, it reminds me a lot of Tapentadol with the "dirty high". It could definitely be a mixture of tapentadol and something else like u4 or tianeptine or tramadol.
Analyzing the variability in pill dosage
I have measured the weight of over 20 individual pills. As a preface, I only weighed pills that looked identical, as in no chips or defects, 100% intact. No contact with water, and no tampering after receiving the package. The weight of these pills, in my sample size, fluctuated from 145 mg to 171 mg - this is a 17% difference! I know that this is an error on Opiate-Rx's behalf, because the pills consistently weighed 145 mg, 155 mg, 165 mg, and 171 mg and for each a standard deviation of 1 mg.
Out of just 20 pills measured, I found 4 different doses
This means that every batch of pills he presses are a different weight, therefore a different dosage. On the outside, they all look the same, but on the inside they have different solid densities. The only way to tell is by weighing them on a mg scale. The 145 mg pills will crush a bit easier, the 171 mg pills are a bit harder to crush. Out of 20 pills, I was able to differentiate them into 4 different "batches" based on my measurements (145, 155, 165, 171 mg each corresponding to a different batch of presses). This is not something that occurred due to packaging or shipping - the weight differences due to disturbance during shipping are the small +/- 1 mg error on each measurement. If he can't even press pills such that they're the same weight, how is he assuring that there aren't hot spots of whatever drug in each pill? This guy is going to kill people, whether it's the huge fluctuation in pill weight or a hot spot of drug.
Props to /u/Thecoinconnection for stepping up and sending one.
Sorry for the awful formatting and rambling. But today he put up a new listing that is open to the public for 6 days (before it was a private listing for selected customers). I wanted to get this post on here ASAP because not a single review on AB indicates how dangerous these could be! I'm not trying to start a witch hunt, I just want people to be aware of the risk here. Additionally, if anyone else who has these pills from O-rx also has Mandelin reagent on hand, please test with that! It would confirm the presence of tapentadol or U47700. My marquis test will only confirm the presence or absence of oxy.
Observations from Marquis reagent tests
I did a Marquis test and it turned tan-pale yellow after 5 mins. At 10 mins it was bright yellow. I don't have real oxy on hand to compare as control, so I verified my reagent by testing methamphetamine, which turned dark orange as expected. I did 3 or 4 tests and every time, there were 1-2 tiny dots of intense purple. I was using about 25 mg of finely crushed pill for each test, and what turned purple had to have been less than 0.5 mg of each sample.
4x objective scope pic, 5 min after adding Marquis reagent to half of a crushed pill - this is the only particle of the entire sample (field of view here is tiny, this image shows about 2% of what I tested) in all 80 mg of powder, that changed color. Also please note the color is a bit off in this pic. It is more purple than red.
Nitric acid reagent test
I did a nitric acid test and there was a rapid color change within around 90 seconds, but only in one single small dot, or particle of the sample. It was faint green-yellow particle of a 25 mg sample. this dot was similar in size as the purple dot in the marquis test.
Nitric acid reagent test on 15% of a crushed pill - green color (small dot in center) developed roughly 90 sec after adding the reagent. no color change visible anywhere else
Also worth mentioning is how sketchy his 300+ reviews are. They all sound like they're written by the same person.. They will go on a long rant about how good the stealth is and how the product is "SPOT ON", always capitalizing one or two words of the review. Either I'm delusional or he had someone write a shitload of fake reviews for him.
