Ive been hearing bad things about using bitcoin tumbling and more things about monero. The DNM Bible recommends a bitcoin tumbling service but I hear they arent good. Is monero the way to go? Whats the easiest tumbling way to go nowadays?

Yes, Monero is good. It also went up massive in price recently. Doubled, in fact. I think it has a good future with the possibility to replace BTC.
Regarding your tumbling question, I couldn't tell you. I've never tumbled ever and I've been buying since SR1, which is like 5 years now. Hope my door doesn't get kicked in by the police!

The Bitmixer.io admin closed shop because Bitcoin mixers are not safe. See https://moneroforcash.com/monero-vs-dash-vs-zcash-vs-bitcoinmixers.php#bitcoinmixers
The Bitmixer.io admin now recommends Monero.

Just tumble it, sit back, and watch how no one comes for you. Presuming you're a buyer. They probably won't come after me, either, but I go a little further.

Yeah Monero is good
BTC --> shapeshift --> Monero
Monero --> Monero dark wallet
On Tor or Tails
Dark wallet --> xmr.to --> Bitcoin
The second step: monero to monero removes any traces of you ip address being linked to your coins
