The Aldridge study has been posted to DNM before, IIRC. (I also had some concerns about the study which I emailed the authors; for example, they seem to think personal users would buy much smaller amounts than they do.)

That threw me a little at first. But then it made sense. Anyways, I always have to remember that those that use the darknet are a very small minority. Not everyone has access to these services. There are high numbers of people that can not hit the minimum bar to access these markets through Tor, buy and tumble bitcoins, and use PGP. It is astounding how many people would not be able to do this...

But that creates a great market for a local seller.

We are not yet at the point where the internet is the main dealer. But it is having an impact...
