[OPSEC/Sub-rules] Too much OPSEC details being disclosed in this sub lately

Just go through the posts on the front page of the sub, and you will learn a great deal about a variety of Opsec details for a variety of shipments, domestic and international. Often posts like should I do this-should I do that either disclose too much in the OP, or in the comments.

Disclosing opsec details is not limited to sharing pictures. When you write about mylar bags and decoys, and list every single step of caution you take in btc transactions etc you put that info out in the open for anyone to access and read anytime they want (read: LE).

I think the "Don't post stealth details." rule has been too lax lately, and it's worth taking a step back for self-reflection every once in a while.

If you're new and you want to be safe, order from a well-known vendor maybe, and see it for yourself. There are already way too many of them.

I just think this is more important than Pelican jokes.

tl;dr: Don't disclose Opsec details in posts IN ANY CASE, and Mods please delete posts and comments with opsec info in them.

Oh christ, shut up.

LE can just order from a vendor then they know exactly what their stealth is, this is much more effective than scanning through hundreds of reviews to try and find out tiny slithers of details relating to said vendors stealth.

Do you think only drugs get shipped in Mylar? Well your wrong.

Do you think Postal Inspectors assume every flat rate envelope has drugs in it? And more so do you think they give a fuck what is in your package? Sorry but you are not that important.

I think people forget how much mail is shipped every single day. I'm sick of people yelling "OPSEC BREACH IDIOT!" when a tiny detail of stealth is mentioned, it's retarded.

The object of the exercise is to get ur packs through customs by not standing out or having a dog sit on it,
it doesn't matter if LE knows what a pack is packed like because there are a million envelopes going through the conveyer belt in front of him and they all look the same. If a dog sits down on ur envelope it's because your vendor didn't pack and then clean away what the dog can smell

We all need to know as much as we can and not every one is a tech savvy, street smart or even bright individual so isint it better to have the info were it's easily found?

We all benefit when people know opsec, some things are better left in PM's though for sure. But most of it can be shared openly I'd imagine,. especially the general stuff

So much mail has a mylar bag bro.

How would knowing what is inside an envelope help LE at all?

Law enforcement knows way more about this than 99% of the people in this subreddit. posting proper OPSEC just brings users up to speed- doesn't educate LE. I am 100% PRO sharing opsec
