As the title suggests why is it so common (even for highly reputable vendors) to deny customers tracking information. I usually don't have issues with it just a bit curious as to why its almost a standard to not provide unless theirs an issue with order, is it a security risk ? If so how?
Yeah it's generally opsec related. Theoretically if LE were to make an order and get tracking right away there is a chance they could profile the pack and find others that were dropped at the same time. Some also are worried their customers will get obsessive with tracking their pack and arouse USPS suspicions on why some fucker is checking it like 59 times a day
