Removing wax from paper? please help

I am not going to say the vendors name because this is the first time out of like 10 or so orders I have had any sort of problem. I ordered a gram of wax and it seems to have just been poorly packaged. It was just folded twice long ways and the wax melted out of the paper into the other container it was in. as of right now it is a complete mess. Each fold is coated with wax and the paper is starting to tear into it. I am trying to salvage what I can. What is the best way to do this? are they any house hold items i can use to remove the wax from the paper? Please give me your tips and tricks

Freeze it and scrape.

Or, wash down with 99% isopropyl and evaporate.

I feel for you..I put them in the freezer and get a razor blade and scrape the paper gently.

Actually 2 razor blades, then you can get it into a slick or whatever.

Then I have made tea with the paper, and a mint tea bag in some hot hot water..it works well. We save the papers and do the tea thing once I have a few papers.

Also watch out for your working area, I have a silicone mat, but you get my drift, its a sticky messy endeavor.

put it in the microwave for 45 seconds and it should all melt into a puddle
