Why don't markets use https?

Agora and Evo both use http, not https. Couldn't an exit node steal your credentials, and then steal your coins?

Aside from the rest of the comments explaining why it's not required, to get an https connection that works you'd need to have a signed certificate on the market's end. That's some real paper trail you end up with there.

When you're accessing a hidden service, your entire transaction is occuring on Tor; exit nodes only come into play when you're using Tor to browse "clearnet" sites anonymously.
