So I posted this on r/darknetmarketsnoobs but I never got an answer besides letting them know there is a bug. So I was running tails on another laptop and the Internet worked fine. I used tails maybe 3-4 times before it showed that there was no network connection. I recently changed laptops and it still reads that there is no network connection. What should I do?
Could you be a lot more specific? Any specific messages they gave you? Did you try to connect to the same network each time?
I am aware of one bug that comes up relatively often. Many Debian-based distros (that includes Tails) won't automatically connect to certain enterprise networks, which usually end up being university networks. The OS assumes the network uses a different authentication type and fails. It believe it either assumes TLS or PEAP, and you have to switch to the other one. If you're on this kind of enterprise network, you can try that in the settings dialog for that network's connection.
