[OPSEC/Computer] TAILS is the safest way to access DNM. Did you know TAILS can also hold bitcoins for you with very little risk and skill?

Don't keep your bitcoins on another site! TAILS is now the perfect solution for DNMs! And you are all using TAILS already for anonymity!? Right?!?

To store your bitcoins on TAILS you use software called "Electrum". The magic of Electrum is that YOU MUST write down 12 words on paper. These twelve words are ALL YOU NEED to create a wallet. Nothing is stored on the computer. (You can ignore the warning about persistence- you only need it if you want to save contacts and extra info - the 12 words will always restore the base wallet and all the bitcoins)

First time users will select create new wallet. Make sure to write the words down. All other users will click restore and enter the 12 words.

Keep the 12 words only on paper and every time you boot into TAILS you load Electrum and enter the 12 words. Your bitcoins are very safe and protected by a hardened Linux and under your control and not a third party. Another bonus for anonymity is by using a separate wallet for TAILS spending it adds another layer of separation from your non-TAILS wallets. Your main bitcoin account will show spending into another wallet (tails wallet).

You do realize that you aren't in the noob area, and we know this already, right?

Good information. Another thing some people might not know about is the use of paper wallets, if you plan on parking any sums in one place for a bit you can also use Electrum on TAILS with your networking turned off to have a pseudo airgapped wallet. Write down your 12 word seed and public addresses and you're good to go. You can create watch-only wallets or I also like that the master wallet address can sequentially provide new addresses without the need to worry about anything other than the original seed to access the private key and sign transactions.
