[OPSEC/Computer] Best File-/Diskencryption Software at the moment ?

Hey ladys and gents,

I have lately been very annoyed by DiskCryptor since it casually corrupted my encryption header. Nothing like pumping 12 hours into rescuing your cold storage wallet.

So what is the latest, most stable stuff the kids use these days ? Paging /u/MLP_is_my_OPSEC and other OpSec Gurus.

Windows: Veracrypt

DO NOT USE WINDOWS.

Tails, Debian LUKS.

Truecrypt was the best at one point. Then some roumors about a backdoor in the new version started to spread. If you can find the old version, its actually one of the best.

+1 for veracrypt on windows. Tails has built in encryption for the persistent storage volume.

I used to be a TrueCrypt lover, until the password of my encrypted volume just stopped working out of the blue. I was using the same container for months, typing the password everyday, and I just started getting "Invalid password or not a truecrypt volume" error and it wouldn't open anymore. I like VeraCrypt, it is proven solid, but it takes a while (~20 secs) to open a volume.

So I have another Question, might sound odd but:

Is there a simple way I could make my own Webcrawler to automaticly create the illusion of normal web surfing behaviour ? Like making him do some basic google searches, reading papers, stuff like that.

Doable ?
