Mods vs Scam watch team

What you think about idea that some market offers to mods from dnms account with privileges, where they can resolve disputes or checking cases which have no proofs also they can watch suspicious vendors ... Can this idea brings more pros on this subreddit or it's too utopic?

For context for others, this is related to Bloomfield market. They had offered an account with privileges on the market to try to show they are legit. This is where this question is coming from.

Senor70 - you can see why we didn't take you guys up on the offer. It's not a good idea for so many reasons. We are specifically not involved with any market. None of the mods have market affiliations. You can surely see how that could look really bad and could lead to problems of favoritism and people thinking we are biased, etc etc. hell you guys even accused us of this both publicly and privately.

Second we are not market employees. We moderate the sub for free bc it's what we like to do and what interests us. None of us mods are interested in doing this for a commercial enterprise. In order for the mods to remain unbiased with this suggestion, we could not accept payment from the market. If we can't accept payment, why would I or any other mod add to our workload to enrich someone else? we so what we do here for free as a public service. We volunteer our time. We aren't going to volunteer our time to be puppets for a market. We aren't going to accept payment to be puppets for a market. Why would I or any other mod want to vouch for any market? We don't vouch for anything here.

You guys really fucked up your approach to this community. Then you want to rectify that by giving us work? Seriously? I wanted to be clear that this isn't some utopic altruistic idea you are proposing. This is a vested interest you have. This idea has nothing to do with the safety of the community. It has everything to do with commercial interests. You should be clear about this bc some might not know your relation to Bloomfield which has a warning on the sidebar. Fuck, I don't even understand who all is relate to your market. I see like 5 different Reddit accounts all bitching at me. None are clear what the relation to the market is.

What are you talking about? You can already dispute and get mods/admin to resolve disputes on dmns.

I don't think reddit mods getting involved in market disputes is a good idea nor can I see it happening if that's what you mean.

This cat and his 27 alt accounts is a piece of work lmao.

they can confirm or negate exit scam about market

Uh huh. Notice that you didn't say:

confirm or negate exit scam about vendors

No. You said "market".
I realize that English is your second language but certainly you could see how it could make people a bit uncomfortable that you're apparently willing to design functionality into your market for the sole purpose of maximizing your exit scam proceeds?
Learn a lesson from watching NSWGreat and Evo?

Because to hear you tell it, it sounds like you would just like mods in a controllable (read: "bribe-able") position in order to publicly negate and manage the inevitable rumours that would occur once you officially put into motion:

"Operation Bloomfield About Market Exit Scam So /u/senior70 Can Make Away With All BitCorn Of User"

OK, Let's look at the numbers: Every week here is min. two posts about deposit lost or other suspicious subject. I'm talking here about idea which can make this subreddit more clear and helpful. Idea which can bring to moderators more opportunity to look into every case more deeply. So, starting to be more helpfull to this community is not good idea you said?

Whole post is about simple idea that I consider moderators of this subreddit more trustworthy than staff from any market. In other words, cooperation of market staff with moderators of this subreddit can not make things worse but this kind of innovation may brings only benefits to whole community. So I wish that this idea will be more popular especially on another markets. Because legacy and honest markets does not have nothing to hide. If moderators are affraid from work which will be need to do without any payout, then they're not forced to do any resolving of situation. I think this help from moderators can appreciate many members of this community with donation of some BTC. Donations will be directly proportional to help from moderators.

So, why this idea can't be successful if have more pros than cons ?
