Why won't some vendors ship to PO boxes?

Yea friends, question's right there in the title. A PO box seems like my only option for a receiving address short of renting a second apartment, but I know at least one of my favorite vendors won't ship to PO boxes. What gives?

Tinfoil hatness. You can get mailboxes at other places that work the same way as a PO box but will have an address with a suite number. "XXX X St, Suite XXX".

Also, some post offices allow you to use the post office's address with a suite number.

Most likely you can use an apartment number, or a unit number, or a suit number, interchangably. I used to get mail delivered to me with "Suite 3" to look more business like than apartment 3...

I guess it depends on a few things: 1) Quantity of product might not fit in the box? 2) Vendor preference to stray away from PO's for w/e reason?

Just spit ballin though
