Hey guys!
I've been watching the DNM situation for about 2 years now. I've been a regular user of DNMs and I'm shocked about how actually nothing much happened since the first DNM started. Many of the available DNMs are either insecure or difficult to use (at least for new users). Some of them get seized, some of them scam the people. I want a DNM which is easy to use, secure and offers me as many features as I need. When I want to buy something, I don't want to scroll through hundreds of offers. I want to quickly find what I'm looking for, I want to buy it easily and I don't ever want my coins to be stolen/lost due to seizure. That's what I was thinking about the last few weeks. Why don't I just set up a DNM which covers all this? I want to. As I'm an experienced developer and somewhat a "hacker", I know much about how such a system has to be developed and how I can protect it. Yet, I don't want to go this road on my own. I want to involve the community as much as possible. You are the one who will maybe use this DNM later. So I think, the best choice is to let you help me with this.
I already thought a lot about how the infrastructure should be set up and about how I should code all the stuff. Now I got to a point at which I want to ask you about what exactly you want in a DNM. A DNM developed for and by the community which uses it.
So far, I came to the conclusion that I (at least at first) only want drugs to be sold there. I don't want to see counterfeits, stolen or faked ID cards or anything else which harms , harmed or is intended to harm other people. Maybe this will change in future, but I will let this decision to be up to the community. My plan is to publicate the source code at some point, so the whole community can work on it. This will only happen after a thorough auditing to make sure there won't be any security issues caused by the publication of the source code. Right now, not that much is finished. I finished the base of the code and now I'm working on the webpage itself, but before putting anything online I want to ask you for your advise. What do you expect from a new-generation DNM? How should it be built up? Which features do you want? How do you want the DNM to look like?
Everything's up to you! I'll even let you choose our domain name. I've chosen a few which are well-readable. Now it's up to you to chose the one you like the most. Which one can you remember well? There's a poll for that (attention, clearnet link): https://strawpoll.me/3021175
As you see, I even involve the community at such parts. I want to involve the community as much as I can. If you don't like the name, suggest a new one. Everything's up to you, really.
I'm looking forward to hear your opinions and ideas. :)
Best regards.
My advice? Don't live in the USA. Don't register for your server with your gmail account. Don't get involved with vendor affairs (unless you're banning an obvious scammer.) Uhh... GLHF.
