Help! Electrum wallet sent payment twice

I posted this in the DNMnoobs sub already, sorry if its reduntant or annoying, its just urgent:

Hey guys, I've been having some infuriating issues with electrum. I tried to send a payment earlier today. I entered the recieving wallet address, the amount of coin and hit send. After this, my wallet contained the same amount of coin and there was no history of the transaction.

So I tried sending the payment a couple more times with the same outcome. A a few hours later I check my wallet, and in my history there are two identacle payments sent to the same recieving wallet, and just say "pending" for the last eight hours. Can anyone help me? I'll send a tip to someone who can help me figure this out.

You just spent your money twice. Talk to your vendor, tell him you sent the money twice, and ask him to refund you that part. (you might not be lucky; consider that too)

If you're sending the money to a market wallet, just wait till it arrives. Then, withdraw the money back to your original wallet, and done.

There is a slight delay from the time you press "Broadcast" to when you see the amount spent from Electrum. This causes people (in your case most likely) to think they did not broadcast it (there is a "Sign" button before that) and press Broadcast again. A few minutes later - you've now sent the same amount twice to the same receiving address. Please pay attention after you click Sign, and then Broadcast. Wait 2 minutes, you'll see the "[-BTC Amount]" next to your current balance.
