Empty pack arrived, am I screwed?

I got an empty priority mail envelope with a handwritten label. It had absolutely nothing inside. I have a few things on order, so I'm not sure who sent it yet. One of the orders is with a vendor that is regarded by some to be a selective scammer(I didn't know at the time). I checked out his feedback before ordering and he has pages of positive feedback.

If it turns out to be a scam, am I screwed? I never finalize early, but if he can provide a tracking number that shows delivered, isn't it my word against his? Won't Agora side with the vendor with tons of positive feedback over a buyer with less than 10 transactions completed?

Look harder. Some stealth is very good.

Also what did you order?

Are you completely sure there's no rip in the package? I once ordered from a vendor whose stealth was to put product in a pen, only the pen had a tendency to rip the fucking package when handled roughly and fall out. If your package has a small hole in it, the product, or the stealth item containing it may have fallen out somewhere in transit. As /u/hog_master said, look harder at the package, but not just for super good stealth, also look for signs of bad stealth.

I just want to ad, normally I wouldn't describe a vendors specific stealth method, but although good in theory, this turned out to be terrible stealth because the product often no doubt ended up on the floor of some USPS facility, and then either in some USPS workers desk, since it was a working pen, or a wastebin.

Hearing a lot of these recently and my friend had one too. I'm wondering if these type vendor scams are making a comeback from SR1, ie send nothing and claim customs or whatever... pretty scummy if you ask me
