I'm feeling like the latter makes more sense, but I lose my ability to dispute in a direct deal, but AB is notorious for not giving a shit anyway.
I'd just like some opinions
Thanks
[Opinions] Which makes more sense; Alphabay/Escrow or a direct deal with a high rep vendor from Alphabay?

Generally I would vote a market. Escrow is our only bargaining chip on not getting scammed, I don't care who the vendor is, for instance Sun-whateverdude was a perfect vendor... someone FE'd 70k and boom; dude was gone. Now I know that's an extreme scenario, but there have been countless vendors who went FE/off market, and fucked everybody.
Now, if you have a good relationship with your vendor and they are God-tier vendors, I'm talking AlpraKing type people, then yes at your own discrepancy you should*** go off market for them.
I will always be sketched out over FE/DDs, simply because anything can happen. You can have the rug pulled right out from under you, no matter who you are, or who they are. Just saying.

Alphabay escrow.Had a couple of disputes against scammers there and always got my money back.
Though one thing to remember is that their dispute system is really slow. May take weeks till you get the funds back

Every alphabay vendor is a little bit stupid. But if you must deal with one, try to cut alphabay out of the chain.

multisig
If they are a very reputable vendor with a good track record, I'm all for direct deals. I took the plunge last year to trust a vendor with thousands of dollars and he came through, every single time. We worked together for about a half a year before I had to take a break from the lifestyle.
