OPSEC Printing Security...

This might be the wrong place to ask but im sure one of my fellow dnm friend knows how you can securly print.

I just got a wi-fi printer and ive been messing around with it. Is there a way to print through tor or even a vpn? Does a printer give out gps location? Or am I being paranoid? Then theres cloud print that lets you remotely print from anywhere. How could i set up cloid print to work eith tor? Is that even possible?

pretty sure i remember a netflix documentary saying they do print out locations secretly, aside from that buy with cash, don't connect it wifi?

Most new printers will print little dots that coincide with your printer's serial number and model. This can be used to track you clearly.

If you are to print things that could land you in jail please only use printers that are quite old or you bought at a flea market or untraceable source like having someone buy one for you at the thrift store.

well you can hack into most printers easily because bad coded software/crappy interface and mostly people use standard pws. once youre in, that stuff is usually *nix so you could def exploit it and write a script which sends all sorts of information.

GPS not of course because for that hed need a gps modem in it. but stuff like ip viewing or even low network monitoring is possible.

i stay far away from wifi printers. LAN cable to PC and have the printer in a diff subnet and firewall pin pointed to it. cloud printing is very risky.
