Vendor practices and opinions.....

I am posting this as I think it's a major OPSEC violation for vendors to keep addresses any longer then after printing your label, of coarse keeping it could prevent malicious buyers but how hard is it to change it to your friend's house? Not too hard. If a vendor were to get arrested and the resulting list of addressee he or she or even multiple people have would be looked at very closely for large purchases......

When SR1 went down about two weeks later I get a regular post card in the mail from a vendor saying not to worry and I could still order from him and gave me his e-mail. WTF anybody could of read it. Its not cool

Everytime you communicate your name and address to a vendor on a site like Silk Road 2.0, you take a risk.

I've ordered many times from two vendors, over many markets and under a few usernames. Fortunately, I don't have to keep risking my name and address on every server on the darknet, because I asked them to write it on a piece of paper after using the gift of my brain.

Each of you, think how many darknet orders you've placed. Then how many times you've had to risk your anonymity by supplying your shipping details. You've also used the gift of your brains, and decided that you want to do it as many times as possible, on every server on every marketplace.

Do those two figures HAVE to be the same? Why keep repeating the same risky communication over and over again?

Vendors have no interest in keeping evidence of their illegal activities. I don't know what you think they would gain. But if I ask a vendor to keep my details so I don't have to keep giving them out, I expect them to indulge me.

The people who get in trouble wit the law are the ones who don't think it through properly.

There is no way to know if vendor is keeping buyers informations.
