I was curious as to how hard it would be for a vendor to create a bunch of profiles and give themselves good reviews? is this something that is fairly common? i ask this because an MDMA vendor on nucleus has alot of good reviews and a few bad ones. all the good reviews are short and look generically the same where the bad ones seem more like legit answers of people who have tested the stuff. I dont want to go put an order through just to get shit product because a vendor has taken the time to make themselves look good
It would not be very hard, and many (I would dare to say most) do it. That's why a lot of the time you'll see that known scammers tend to have a very good ratio still despite the bad reviews. It's why a lot of users tend to use /r/DarkNetMarkets as a basis of who to get their product from instead. It's usually easier to tell if a review is fake when it's more than a sentence or two.
