I'm not from the US but i read posts about people in the US being busted for ordering domestic, do they scan/inspect the parcels when crossing state borders or something? How would people know the parcel contains drugs?
Why do domestic parcels in the US get seized?

Those posts you're reading are largely FUD by 16 year-olds having a last 'huzzah' before school starts back. Domestic ordering, all other things held equal, is the safest way to go. On top of that, and unlike with the 3rd-party private companies (UPS/Fedex/etc.), a Federal-level Justice has to sign-off on a warrant to seize/search USPS shipments (since it's a quasi-government entity and everything relating to them & crime is governed by Title 18).
Anyway, the short answer to your short question is: It's not even really happening. Or rather, no more than it always has.
