Resources for learning about the technicalities of software/hardware security+anonymity

Hello all, I have become very interested in the details of security and anonymity - particularly in regard to TAILS, Whonix, TOR and all else related. Most of my knowledge is from reddit and a select few articles, and even so I have not found paths leading to many other resources that were not close-ended. I am asking if you can supply me with resources, specifically forums where I can ask more knowledgeable people questions and have their guidance - this is because the more technical stuff I have found has been a bit too much for me to grasp in completeness.

I know I am not asking anything much specific but I am beginning and have a desire to learn much depth therefore I believe forums and discussion boards would be most useful.

Thank you all for helping me and I am sorry if this is an incorrect place to ask these question

Check out "Jolly Rancher's security guide" on Deep Dot web, that's a good starting place and there's some other helpful things on the website. Pretty sure they have an onion address too but not sure what it it.

Not a huge fan of the market itself, but the Alphabay forums have a decent "security and anonymity" section. Lots of noobs asking pointless questions because they're too lazy to research. But there are some helpful people over there. If you're new, or even somewhat new to this, the best thing you can do is read as much as possible.

Go to hacking forums and off reddit. I haven't been on any of them in years but go to infraud or unknown. There was hell that was on tor but I think it's gone after the fappening
