Where do you see the DarkNetMarkets in ten years?

When I first looked at Silk Road, everything was overpriced. Everything was small quantities.

3 to 4 years later, I checked the DarkNetMarkets again and it looks the prices have come way down. They are equal to the prices in my area or lower. It also looks like you can get large quantities.

Where do you see the DarkNetMarkets in 10 years from now?

I can see one Amazon-esque super market with an interface that would shame Evo. Only the largest vendors would survive, and reviews will be exceptionally plentiful. I don't really see direct deals becoming overly popular compared to the ease of a centralized market. Drugs will also definitely not be legalized in America within a decade. It will at least take that long for weed to be decriminalized nationally.

I think there will be a good MXE vendor in the next 10 years.

I sincerely believe that.

Your drugs are going to be same day delivered via drone.

One word: DECENTRALIZED

OK I guess a few more words: 3rd Party escrow! Then the party starts.

I think that depends on how mail scanning technology advances in that time. I see a lot of people talking about decentralization, legalization, etc., but if postal services get more intrusive and regularly scan packages for drugs? DNMs would be shit outta luck. Would there be a switch to private deliveries? I'm sure that'd jack up prices and be awfully inefficient.

[3 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

The best thing about DNMs is that the person who makes the drugs can sell directly to the person using the drugs, with no middlemen.

At the moment, its nearly ALL middle men, with the exception of a few primary vendors, selling half of their stock to "one stop shop" scammers without realizing it.

I think, in 10 years time there will be less dealers, because they don't add value.

There will be a few vendors who have been around for more than a decade, with customers who have followed them across 10 different marketplaces. These vendors will be able to put a new marketplace on the map, particularly if they trade exclusively on it. Other vendors would then register, the way smaller bands all confirm once a big name confirms they are headlining a rock festival.

Customers register, but they only deposit their bitcoin when they see a few names they trust on that first page full of drug photos.

If smaller vendors cooperate and move as a block, they will dictate their own terms with any marketplace that wants them.

I think there will be a bitcoin exchange of sorts BUILT IN to every marketplace. Every customer will have a vendor account that is only allowed to sell one thing:- cash in the post, in exchange for bitcoin.

It will have become clear that the same admins go from marketplace to marketplace, or become vendors again. Yer Variety Jones / Stexxo / DPR2s didn't stop with Silk Road

I think that the DarkNetMarkets will decline in size, and will have a larger emphasis on Electronic stuff (Accounts, Credit Cards, PayPal, etc.) and weapons as most recreational drugs will have (hopefully) been legalized in most countries.

Gone

[1 Points] StillNotLovingLE:

That is a bit optimistic but I see them cease to exist because there is no more demand because drugs have been legalized.

Portugal and the Czech Republic have both already practically legalized all and every recreational substance and I see a number of European countries join them in the next years.

[1 Points] vostos:

With almost complete certainty they will be a lot more complex and advanced.

[1 Points] None:

decentralized market

[1 Points] LedLevee:

Hopefully it's gone. Either replaced by OpenBazaar like things or best case scenario: this shit is legal. (I'm a dreamer)

[1 Points] Coothvor:

Obsolete, because all drugs will be legal. War on drugs is stupid.

[1 Points] None:

right here

[1 Points] None:
