Name to use during shipping?

Hey all, I'm just curious--what reason is there to use my real name on the address if the package will be showing up at my house anyway? If it makes a difference, this is for a domestic US transaction.

Also slightly related, do things like moderate amounts of tabs usually come in envelopes or packages?

Thanks.

It raises less suspicion, but form personal experience the name doesn't really matter. It will help the letter get to you though.

Tabs are in envelopes.

Not using you real name could end up in failure to deliver. This would make you and your vendor unhappy, as often times the refund is 0.

the name DOES matter. a mismatch will raise a red flag.

I use a name of a former resident, one I get junk mail for. NOT to deflect blame (wouldn't matter to LEO), but when I see it delivered I put it directly into the trash outside, then wait 30 minutes.

if it's a set-up, LEO isn't going to wait around for you to destroy or use up the evidence. if they were to come, their evidence is in the garbage, un-opened, doesn't have my name on it.....and of course, I have no idea what's going on.....I just threw away the junkmail

I use the name of the last person to live in my house.

And yes, tabs will normally come tightly wrapped and then put in an envelope, larger stuff in a jiffy bag.

Use your own name, you don't want to raise any suspicions.

If the worst comes to the worst and the feds come to your door with your pound of coke addressed to you; Deny everything, be friendly and calm, call your lawyer. Unless they can tie you to the package then they have no evidence to detain and or convict you with.
