Hello,
When there is a return register order, i know i asked at the post and they said if there is a return letter they keep it for 1 month and then send it to be destroy.....
and i wonder , do they just burn them or do they open the letters before they burn them , or is it some other way that they do destroy them ?
If you're in the USA they send it to the Mail recovery center where it will be scanned to see if it looks like the contents are worth more then 25$. By contents I mean the decoy. If they deem it to not be worth much of anything, it will instantly go into a giant shredder and it's gone. If for whatever reason, they decide to open it and locate the drugs, there is a chance that a postal inspector will instigate an investigation. BUT the fact that it is at a dead letter to begin with seems unlikely. Unless it's a large amount of weight.
