So why don't markets DELETE PGP encrypted info once the order is marked shipped?

I just contacted a vendor I've been doing business with for some time about a package that's super late. I've been using him for about 2 years, and this is the first time I've never received my package (he's in the EU as well), and just contacted him about the order. He was super cool about it and offered to reship me the full amount for free, but then he dropped this in the message:

PS

It is strange that addresses are not deleted once its marked as shipped.

I get that some vendors click shipped in order to FE, and mail the next day, but seriously, why is this not a thing?!?!

Edit: Forgot to mention this was on Evo.

every order ive ever made on agora and sr2, the vendor "wiped for anonymity". Evo auto deletes orders after 30 days.

You can't touch agora, or even breathe on it without deleting the customer's details.

The thing you need to keep in mind about your name and address is that YOU WANT THE VENDOR TO KNOW, BUT NOBODY ELSE.

The best way to achieve that is to get it to him once, correct, and tell him to write it down on his xmas card list, next to his uncle, with a pen.

If you are going to order from a vendor 20 times, don't risk your details 20 times and make him forget them 20 times.

That's just stupid.

Tell me I'm wrong
