I received a notice from the Post Office that my package was sent certified and would need to be signed for. It came in from Canada to the US. I emailed the vendor and am waiting on the reply, but does this seem right to you?

Signing for a package does not throw out plausible deniability! Anybody can send anything to anyone at any time (under normal circumstances). A signature is just a policy that confirms the parcel was delivered and has passed from the parcel system to the receiver. That is all.
It's the job of the popo to prove drugs arriving in your mail makes you a criminal. Signing a package containing them doesn't prove that! Just keep a clean house, encrypt everything, and all those other basics.
If any shit goes down then just remember these two things: Number 1) shut the fuck up and say nothing. Deny everything and admit to nothing. 2) Lawyer the fuck up. Know your rights.
Sign it.
If anything looks or feels strange or off just act like youre confused about the package and sign.
Once you close your door after signing take the package, refrain from opening it, and write "return to sender" on it.
Wait it out an hour or so.
If LE doesn't knock down your door and raid your home in that time I'd say you're good to open up your pack and examine and enjoy your product.
That's how I've always gone about it when it comes to the old "fuck, they're saying I have to sign it?!"
I have not been the subject of a CD to this day. So far so good.
Hope all goes well OP.
