The time has come..

Please read my recent post about electronics. I'd really like to see it happen. In another related issue I would specifically like to see this "magic" tool come to surface. I know some street thug couldn't have come up with it. This type of tool requires cunning and flat out book smarts. I've asked all around the streets looking for it and no answers so far except for the feeling that the owners have exclusive access to getting them. Which usually means that there's less than a handful of gentleman making them if there are more than 1, which would explain not many cars are being stolen with these tools. I know I know, nobody wants another thief on the streets of someplace they're not in over principles/morals they normally don't adhere to until logged onto reddit. I know at least ONE of you "innocent" and "upstanding" citizens have to know where this tool's origin is. I know you're out there somewhere.. TOOL LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97ceREjpIvI

Some Chinese guy was selling something like that on Agora for over a thousand dollars. It might be real, it might be fake. Who knows? Sorry if this seems unhelpful. I saw the listing a while ago and I'm just posting everything I remember about it.

If you find it at all, it would be on evolution. It is the fraud market.

... you can do this with a laptop and the right software... most cars dont have very good / protected code because they've never needed too... they never required to have protection against basic hacks because nobody was thinking of hacking into ur car to unlock it...(let me try and explain that better)

websites nowadays have very very good protection against most of the common ways to attack... they evolve and adapt... thus causing the hackers to adapt and find new ways to bend the system...

cars microprocessors have never had any "predators" so no need to ever really evolve... hence using old techniques from the 90s to mid 2000's works when hacking most modern day cars...understand what im saying?

u can spend around 75$ at a local hardware/computer store and get all the parts u need... id help u further but a few google searches and ull be good to go..

ill give u some free tips thos

u need to access the cars Controller Area Network or CAN bus system... ull need the following

off-the-shelf chips, a third party telematic control unit, a GSM-powered wireless transmitter/receiver setup. and some knowledge about programming and how cars "code" works...with these ull b on ur way

to ur video the small handheld device is a simple transmitter that is programmed to just inject a few lines of code across a variety of bandwidths...(kinda like a big net... it'll open a lot of car doors but not all the fish get caught)

the line of code is something along the lines of, disable alarm, disable engine, engage breaks, turn interior lights on, and disable DMS chips...click wait for the doors to open and good to go...

if ur using a laptop as ur transmitter, u can enable commands on the fly..(IE accelerate, turn on left right turn single... hazards.. break.. cut the breaks.. cut the engine... disable power windows.. power steering).. pretty much u can tell most modern cars to do anything you want

I had always assumed the device sent a small electrical charge to short out the locks/alarm. This is done from the passenger side as that is the side with the fuse box on most cars and any damage to the car it self as a side effect didn't matter as they weren't stealing the cars.
