Announcing /r/DarkNetDeals and advertising rule changes

We've seen tremendous growth over the last couple months and as we continue to grow we have to make changes in order to keep this subreddit looking tidy. Lately we've been getting complaints that the subreddit looks a little bit "billboardy" and that vendor advertisements are too frequent and that they take up too much room.

We understand that many vendors rely on /r/DarkNetMarkets for exposure and in order to satisfy everyone we have come up with a solution by creating /r/DarkNetDeals.

From now on, vendors may only advertise on /r/DarkNetMarkets once per month. If you wish to advertise more frequently, you must post your advertisement on /r/DarkNetDeals.

Everyday, one of the mods will gather all the ads that were posted on /r/DarkNetDeals and make a compilation post on /r/DarkNetMarkets. This will allow vendors to get almost the same amount of exposure and give us a nice clean layout of all the deals available.

Make sure to follow the posting rules on /r/DarkNetDeals and include marketplace tags in your title.

Also make sure to check out our newly updated subreddit rules which include these changes and a few more.

Oh and btw, shoutout to /u/lucyskyhigher who said she would make the daily deals post everyday! How nice of you to do that, Lucy!

Think this will be a great change :)

Makes sense, pretty noticeable how many vendor ads there have been recently - and for good reason, this place is a gold mine for advertising.

Is the collection of market posts in dark net deals automated? If not I could help out by writing either a reddit bot or a scraper of some kind.

Edit: Just saw the below post about /u/lucyskyhigher making the manual offer. Don't want to steal your job with a machine but to be fair that is a common trend these days. Seems more efficient and reliable to use a bot.
