Samsung Chromebook 3 to access dnm?

Lately I've been very interested in making small purchases of exotic drugs on dnm. I had it in mind to buy a brand new laptop dedicated solely for accessing TOR. When at my work x-mas party a guy won a Chromebook in a drawing. I bought it from him for a hundred bucks, figuring it was just what I was looking for. Then I researched them on this very sub, and to my dismay, learned that they are less then ideal. But all the posts are old! I'm hoping that the newest version Chromebook will have an easier time accessing dnm. Is there a tutorial for this? I read about Kronymous, but that seems sketchy as fuck.

Also: how necessary is it that I follow EVERY precaution if I'm only going to purchase maybe a few grams of mdma or some LSD here and there. Relatively safe purchases, I imagine.

I am grateful for any suggestions. Thanks.

You should be able to boot from tails if you follow those instructions on entering dev mode. If you can't boot from tails, you might be able to use crouton to have an instance of linux running inside of ChromeOS. You can then use Whonix to access the darknet using virtual box. I have no idea if this is possible or if you even should. It might be a lot for the laptop to handle

edit- upon my own research I've come across this post looks like you can get a specific Whonix distribution for Chromebooks. There doesn't seem to be much info on it so proceed with caution. Exhaust all options with tails first.

If yours isn't supported in the regular tutorial, look up MrChromeBox - he has a site and is on here as well.

If you like linux check out GaliumOS mentioned on his site also. It's lightweight, built off of Ubuntu.

First get , Ubuntu. I use lubuntu. Much lighter. But I've heard gallium OS is a Linux distro made for chromebooks. Then download tails installer. If you can't boot from usb, then I'm not sure it will work.

I have the same Chromebook I believe and it was a bit of a hassle at first as there are no tutorials on this specific model but it can be done.

I just boot tails from USB but the hardest part was finding the read/write protection screw on the motherboard. It was hidden underneath the large heatsink and only slightly distinguished with an arrow pointing to it. Once you pull the screw you have to install the bios boot strapper.

Pm me if you need help.

When I go to download Tails the first thing it asks me is what operating system I'm installing Tails from, Debian, Ubuntu or Mint. I figured I had to run Ubuntu and download Tails onto that. No?

I'm starting to get it. I'm using the Chromebook to read the sidebar stuff.
