Different Destination Facility (Local), should I be concerned?

Usually packs take the same course with the same details, this time, pack traveled to facility 10 miles away or so. It did not make expected delivery date either. Input?

Input... Its USPS, so expect it even to get shipped across Country for no reason. Sure you ll have it a day late

I had a pack go to a different post office 15 mils away. Sat there for a day before going back to the distribution facility then finally to my local PO.

You have no reason to be concerned.

Sometime they route packages and truck to different sorting centers to take the load off of one or maybe a machine broke at that facility. There are a lot of reasons

usps fuck up, once had one coming from a state over went 4 states over then to my state on the opposite end then got lost then ended up back at the orgin then finally made it to me after like 2 weeks

Delays happen, unless it has the wrong address on it, don't worry

I wouldn't worry about it too much just yet. I'd be more concerned about it taking an alternate path than what you've seen in the past. Breaking that pattern is more of a bad sign than an inefficient course.

I've had parcels take inefficient courses and move from facilities that were near by to facilities that were farther away and they still got delivered

I've had this happen a few times. I once had a international pack from Germany containing 250 XTC pills bounce back and forth between two sorting centers in my state really close to me a few times. It eventually made it to my usual/correct sorting center after a few days. It freaked me out to say the least but nothing happened. I chalked it up to a sorting error.
