not your average weight loss + drugs question.

Hello! Before I begin here's a bit about me:

21 year old female

Mostly sedentary lifestyle (sahm)

I consume Marijuana regularly

225#

67 inches

As nocturnal as a person can get (but forced on a daytime schedule by parenting so I'm usually low on energy)

I'll update the post with relevant info as needed.

I'm down to 225# from 250 after receiving a phentermine prescription on June 10th. I took it sporadically and didn't change what I ate or my activity level at all. I still have a couple left actually. Before I go in for another script I wanted to know what my alternatives. I'm looking at alternatives for the following reason:

Cost- at $100 for doc's visit+prescription there may be a cheaper option Availability- usually stuck without transportation or a sitter and having my spouse take off isn't an option (asshole employers) nor is bringing him to work (suspended license + he leaves at 5 and waking that toddler isn't an option)

Just as I would with phentermine, I'd use whatever drug for no more than 3 months.

I'm VERY well aware that lifestyle changes are necessary. I'm prior mil and no stranger to exercise. At the weight that I am now I'm experiencing knee, joint and increased back pain even with low impact exercises. I've had an eating disorder that was caused by my untreated depression. I've begun treatment and expect that to return to normal.

I'd like a drug that DOES suppress appetite but MORE IMPORTANTLY I need energy. I have the resources for physical activity and clean eating/portion control but I just need some umph.

I'm leaning toward speed paste or powder. Ideally I'd be able to put it in a capsule. Injecting or snorting anything is most certainly not an option. If there are better options please let me know!

In case it matters: I'm the size that I am now for a few reasons:

  1. I gained heavily during my pregnancy + transition out of the military. I also moved several states and went from working to staying at home. Mother's here will understand.

  2. Contrary to popular belief breastfeeding doesn't make ALL women lose weight. The opposite happened for me. I was hungry. All. The. Time

  3. I moved from a state without a trader Joe's to one with. Around the holiday time. The fudge dipped mini gingerbread men were a staple. Like a box a day for an entire month.

  4. Ppd and binge eating

  5. South to north meant that I refused to be outside in any way.

  6. My spouse enabled the hell outta me. Like king sized boxes of Twix and shit.

  7. Primary parent with no support system. Getting to a gym or class wasn't (and still isn't) an option. I have a high needs + sensory delayed tot so there is/was no sneaking in a workout during naptime.

Nah don't turn yourself into a fucking addict wtf. I don't recommend DNP, but if you use it CORRECTLY AND SAFELY (you'll die if you don't) you should be fine. Check out r/steroidsourcetalk and ask this on there. Take this with a grain of salt.

EC stack works for me. Ephedrine+caffeine

Honestly methamphetamine is your best bet for short term weight loss--it is even prescribed by doctors for obesity. As long as you take a measured, oral dose, and stay on it for no longer than 90 days, you'll see those pounds melt away. And it's so inexpensive on the DNM. And no, you won't turn into a tweaker if you follow these guidelines.

Surprised only one person recommended a stimulant.

You don't have to take the meth route. You don't even have to commit a felony to obtain a suitable stim. Look at 3-FPM, which desirable for fewer peripheral effects, easily obtainable from clearnet, and has decent appetite reduction (but less than amphetamine).

[2 Points] PsychonauticEnt:

Appetite Suppression + Energy == Amphetamine (Or modafinal). Get your hands on some adderall, or just amp paste. Add Caffiene + L-Theanine (both of which you can legally acquire online, they're not controlled), and just do what the housewives of the 50s and 60s did, speed your way to fitness.

I totally understand the pain in the joints of being overweight, I used to be hefty myself and it made it SO much harder to exercise, even walking. I would suggest you cut down on carb consumption and go on short walks a few times per day, increasing them in length as your joints feel better. Get some OTC Dr. Scholls orthotics, they work wonders (if you can, find a place with the insert suggestion machine, for better results).

As you cut down on your calorie intake, I would suggest taking a multivitamin tailored to your age and gender (in general a good idea, but especially so in this case). Additionally, gingko and fish oil supplements, on their own, together, or added to an amp/caff/L-Theanine stack, improve cognitive and emotional wellbeing, and can help one bring themselves over depression/anxiety's debilitating motivation hump. Specifically the fish oil also (anecdotally, I think, though there may be studies as well) greatly helps with depression; I've read that countless times, and I take it myself, and shit damn does it help. |

Come over to /r/nootropics and chill with us over there, this kind of question is exactly the type that many of us over there like to help with, and just lurking will probably give you a better sense of how to tackle your various goals and problems.

I bet your kid would love it if mommy took them outside more often, especially once they get into that toddler/kindergartener stage, which is a great excuse to go for a walk yourself. (Plus, sunshine itself helps with depression, anxiety, and motivation issues, as I'm sure you know).

I realize you went from south to north, and that being up north makes the outdoors less appealing, but I would urge you to give it another shot. If it's the temperature that's off putting, add some layers of clothes; if it's the wildlife/scenery, well we have some of the most beautiful forests this side of the rockies in the north east (I don't know where you moved, but if it's not the north east I can give other suggestions).

Feel free to get in touch, I've been there with the seemingly impossible weight to lose coupled with major depression and anxiety, so maybe I can help, and maybe it might just be good for you to vent.

Tl;Dr: Amp or Modafinal + Caffeine + L - Theanine + Gingko Biloba extracts + Fish Oil supplements + a young women's multivitamin and time outdoors should do you some good; mix and match as needed/available to/for your specific situation.

Eight days of carrot juice and barley max, water. 3 days raw veggies (no head lettuce), 20 days veggies, raw and cooked. Resets everything and you'll be set up to get to your goal.

[1 Points] MrrtDerp:

Do what a normal depressed person does and medicate with heroin. Sheesh.

[1 Points] DMVbandz:

Meth. Meth meth and more meth. Or adderall if you can get a script because it's way to expensive on the dnms

It's been said time and time again but people will do as they please. DNP is a poison and if you are okay with putting a toxic substance in your body to make it basically overheat itself, just to lose some weight you could lose naturally, you have a mental probleem.

I used to be like you, wanting to find any drug to make me lose weight the fastest, gain muscle the fastest, etc. But you will eventually learn that unless you actually make a lifestyle. Change and work out. You will never be able to stay in shape without the drugs. You basically will be muchore. In shape for a much longer time if you actually diet and exercise as a habit

Newbies always do this, in every area of the world. They try to take shortcuts and aren't willing to put in work for results, so they half ass using some shortcut and eventually end up back to square 1 when their plan didn't go correctly
