I'd kinda like to keep it, because I am somewhat of an information hoarder.. but more importantly, I want to be safe. What do you think? Is the answer obvious?
Any other precautions I should be aware of? Thanks!
Just placed my first order ever. Should I get rid of all the notes, bookmarks, reddit posts and browser history in my research up to this point?

Yes, get rid of it all. If you ever need it again, LE probably has a copy.

Make sure you dispense of the drugs before doing them first as well.
Can never be too careful.

Hold up and before you follow any of the advice below...what OS are you running?
Because if you are using a Tails USB, no...you do not have to do any of that.
However, it is good practice to simply clean house on the days you expect a delivery just in case something goes down.
Edit: by clean house, I mean gather all drugs and paraphernalia...put it in a back pack...and either move it to your trunk or even better...a safe house (parents/friends, etc)

if you really want to keep it, encrypt it and store it on a flash drive

Have you kept all of this info in one place or spread throughout your non-DNM-related stuff? Let's assume it's spread unencrypted on your regular PC or Mac that you use for work/school/porn/whatever…
If you're just ordering some small personal amounts of a few things, probably not worth sweating. Move your data to a USB drive & completely encrypt the entire drive (Truecrypt). Other remnants will likely remain – browser history, backup snapshots of your HDD, etc., but unless you're dealing and/or buying large quantities, it's unlikely you will become a target of LE who would have to spend a good deal of resources to investigate, arrest, indict, and prosecute you, and considering you wouldn't be able to give up your supplier & probably aren't selling to anyone, your arrest wouldn't lead to jackshit other convictions. Small amounts don't carry much time either; however, the more you order & the more there is evidence that you ordered, the more weight they can "stack" on you, so you'll want to improve your methods eventually anyways.
If you wanna go balls-to-the-wall paranoid, you should wipe that computer clean & write over the data multiple times (at least three) with all 0s and all 1s to remove trace "ghost bits". Back up all your non-DNM data you wanna keep to an external drive, make a list of programs you use & will need to reinstall, uninstall licensed software, and then do a clean, factory installation of your operating system. OS X has options for wiping your data multiple times, not sure about Windows, but I'm sure they either have the option or there is a third-party solution. Either way, your system will be running super smoothly after this, and personally I like to wipe all my computers & do a clean installation of the OS once a year.
After this, only use TAILS or Whonix on a dedicated computer that does nothing but that. Remove the HDD from it even; it just needs it's BIOS to boot a CD or thumb drive. For extra credit, don't even use your home WiFi. Get a long range antenna & pilfer some public WiFi.

Why om earth would you keep it? All you need to remember is your login/pw's & wallet address. My rule of thumb is.. if you need to ask "is it bad if I do this... or that", the answer usually is YES.

It is already too late, the cops are on their way.
Information hoarding is a very bad idea here. You should not even have the bookmarks and history to begin with, truthfully.
I appreciate the desire to keep it as I have that tendency myself. But this is the kind of information you want to store as minimally as possible.
Edit - no need to delete your posts unless you're concerned about your identity. Old posts from people learning are useful for new people learning. But absolutely do get rid of notes bookmarks, history, etc...
