Curious for those who buy pharm fresh pills. Do you go through any measures to ensure you are getting the real deal? I know there are aervices where you can send in a sample and they'll tell you anonymously what chemicals are actually in the pill - ie is it a counterfeit. It takes a few weeks so I don't many have the patience for it but curious if anybody has tried it and what they found. The problem arises after someone pops a pill and feels little to nothing. Is it complete junk? Poorly made in India with some of active Ingredients? Is it a sugar pill? Or is it simply a placebo effect where you simple believe it's not real and thus trick your body into not feeling the full effects.
What type of problem with counterfeits is there? If the pill looks damn near real, tastes similar, but just don't get the same impact, is it likely bc it's old and expired? Thoughts?
I can't help you with the lab stuff because I haven't done that, I just reagent test and look for markings on the pills.
I've only ever bought counterfeit Xanax but I knew it wasn't Pfizer's. I didn't care. Alprozolam is Alprozolam whether it's made by Pfizer or some dude in a basement with a pressing machine. I used to have a legitimate script for Xanax until the fucking NHS decided to stop paying for it and I found the counterfeit stuff to be stronger. Every batch I've ever bought.
Opiates wise, I'm fairly sure they were the real deal. They definitely wasn't placebo's because I was buying from vendors who were only selling a handful a month (I'm assuming it was their own script) plus they arrived in blister packs so if they were counterfeit, the vendor had put some effort into pretending they wasn't. I haven't ever not gotten high from them.
However, I take an anti epileptic that interferes with an enzyme in my liver which affects my ability to metabolise drugs so I often don't need especially large doses to get high and it varies depending on how many hours it's been since I took my meds so it is possible they were well made, lower dose than advertised counterfeits.
