Thoughts on Liberte Linux (TAILS didn't work for me)

The current version of TAILS has too many problems with nouveau right now. So I started looking for some alternatives that I could boot on a USB. I just installed Liberte on a drive and tried it out.

It seems very well done. Almost no setup required. TAILS seems to be most accepted. I'm just curious if anyone knows of any reasons I shouldn't be using Liberte Linux for my darknet exploring.

Liberte is no longer actively developed. Development ended in 2012. It's always wise to use up to date software to fix security vulnerabilities and what not.
