USPS will email you images of what's in your mailbox

http://www.engadget.com/2015/12/07/usps-informed-delivery/

"What happens if you're receiving more than 10 pieces of mail? Not to worry, everything you can expect each day can be viewed via the service's web dashboard. While Informed Delivery is free to use, it's only available to residential customers in Northern Virginia, NYC and Connecticut with further expansion "being considered" for 2016. In fact, the USPS says it has been testing the service in Virginia since 2014."

Damn you USPS. Instead of taking pics of my mail just fucking deliver it!!!! I'd much rather a pack a day earlier without a photo than a day later with one.

They've been doing mail covers since god knows when, it's only now that they're expanding access of it.

This is halarious theyre opening a law enforcement tool to the general public, next they'll let you know when a CD is coming by dropping a pink slip in your mailbox.

You know this is a great thing for drops you dont own like a neighbors house on vacation, you can see remotely when the package is dropped.

[2 Points] None:

this shit is so retarded. whoever thought it up should be kicked in the genitals.

I hope they bring it to my area, just so I can put a fat dildo in my box and then request a picture.

or a bowl of pudding, with a note that says "Put the Mail in the Pudding". love me some pictures of that.

[3 Points] neddysmith138:

bottom line is its against the law to open or view anyone elses private mail, use it against those fed pieces of shit

[2 Points] powerman15:

At least now you know when your packs coming.

[1 Points] None:

Anyone else consider this a plan by USPS to collect a database and have all our mail catalogued to them? Think this is approaching some privacy boundaries here...?

DEA is cutting back who gets vehicles but don't you worry, now desk jockies don't even have to leave their comfy seat to see what you're getting delivered!
