Buying bulk Bitcoins

So if you're buying approximately 5k worth of bitcoins a month, would it be stupid to use circle or coinbase? Is the premium price on bank deposits worth the anonymity?

Bitcoin is not illegal. People buy large amounts all the time.

Your SAFEST bet would likely to be in-person cash transactions from people from localbitcoins.com, and +1 if their price is moderately fair.

Apparently all you have to do is post a giant limit ask on Bitstamp.

Coinbase will request more information once you starting spending a couple thousand a month. Don't go through them with large transactions like that.

You could use a circle account, but the limit is $2500 per week (I believe) and spread the rest out over other exchanges as needed.

e: the anonymity is worth it if it's something you require. Circle and coinbase are likely to raise red flags for maxing out your exchanges every month. Gotta measure convenience against safety and choose what fits best.

I think you'd be incredibly stupid to use coinbase or circle. If you live in a big enough town, I'm sure you can find somebody to meet up with in person to exchange cash for coins.

Buy whatever you want, from wherever you want. I think circle has certain limits though, and coinbase might start asking questions after a while. Either way, just make sure you clean them if you're going through shady deals (PM me if you need help).
