I was a casual small time buyer for some time and got my home raided by german LE for one order of about 4 grams of Cocaine. I thought it is worth to tell my story since so many people are claiming that LE won't go for the small fish.
To make it short: the above mentioned (domestic) order got caught because of bad stealth about 1 year ago. I had it sent to my home with my name on it. After the order didn't arrive I first got paranoid and cleaned house, but after some weeks I came to the conclusion that the Vendor just scammed me, because many other buyers claimed their orders didn't arrive while the Vendor stayed active until he finally got banned from the market (Vendor isn't active under this name, and the market also doesn't exist anymore)
So after some time I started ordering again. Then, about half a year after the order hadn't arrived, a police team of 6 LEO came to my door with a warrant. They found some other stuff (personal amounts according to german law mostly, but also 21 XTC pills), but basically they were looking for DNM connections on my electronic devices.
It was obvious they were disappointed because they were hoping for some bigger fish, but nevertheless I got some trouble for the stuff they found in my house (not to mention my laptop, phone ect. which is still confiscated - still don't know when or if I'll get it back). My case is closed now. No jail time for such amounts in Germany, but still pretty fucked. Kept my hands away from DNM since this raid.
So I think there are some lessons to learn from my case for those who got sucked in this whole AB/Hansa mess:
1) Get at least one proper drop address with a fake name. Your OPSEC can be tight like nothing else, if LE gets a letter with your name on the envelope, they MIGHT be coming for you. Even if you only ordered "personal amounts".
2) German LE seem to take every opportunity they get, so if you ordered from AB/Hansa without using manual(!!) PGP, I would suggest you clean house asap. (although in my case they also got some product with my name on it, which made it worse)
3) Don't believe those who claim that LE "doesn't care for small time buyers". They do, because they know there will always new markets and vendors popping up. So German LE seems to think it will stop the growth of the DNM scene if they spread fear and terror among its users. In my case it worked.
4) LE will confiscate not only your electronic devices, but also those of people who live with you (wifes, GFs/BFs, children, even roommates). So if you think you might be on a list, not only clean your computers, but make sure that ALL important documents you may need for work, university ect. exist as copies in a safe place (like a hard drive copy at a friends place)
I honestly don't want to spread FUD here, and I am quite sure that as a small time buyer you probably be ok, but just be careful and take some precautions.
Stay safe, guys!
I've had my devices confiscated as well. The key is to ENCRYPT EVERYTHING. They can't do anything but ask you for the password if you do it properly and eventually you will get your shit back. But not if you don't encrypt and they find out you've been ordering stuff from DNMs.
