tl;dr: will TR refund my money if the vendor has sent a reshipment but that didn't show up either? Has anyone had TR resolve a dispute in their favor as a buyer in a similar situation?
I placed a domestic US priority mail order with a small but reputable vendor that I've dealt with for years over various markets. After about a week the pack did not show & I could see through MyUSPS that it seems to be "stuck". Left the origin PO but then went to "in transit to destination" and then never updated again, about 3 weeks now.
The vendor reshipped the order. the reshipment is doing the same, no more updates after a week.
the vendor has mentioned that other packs have recently gone missing too. However, they have received a few positive feedback comments during this time period also.
I know usps isn't the greatest & myusps is not always updated or accurate but multiple missing packages in a row is weird, right? In the meantime, I have received other packages with no other issues.
The vendor has not been online in 3 days. Do I start a dispute? I've never disputed on TR & honestly would rather not burn a bridge with the vendor but I'm not sure how to resolve it. Just consider the money lost? Has anyone had a positive experience disputing on TR? I have the tracking numbers showing they never arrived, if that helps.
Dude let your parents know what's coming. Maybe talk them into renting hotel rooms for a month or two til the heats off. Although suppressed indictments can be years before they are served.Good luck and GOD bless...
