How come people feel at easy when buying drugs online? Doesn't postal office check? Can't they arrest you for receiving a shipment full of weed or pills?

I was discussing with an acquaintance this today, and before then I was discussing it with a few people online. They were all from what I see as highly regulated and lawful countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany), and yet they do buy stuff online. Not often mind you, but they still do.

I couldn't help but wonder, how they don't get caught. I would MAYBE understand something like that in Russia, Ukraine, Latvia or something like that (no offense to anyone), but definitely not one of the "western" countries...

We are all police on here we don't actually order any drugs.

They can't open mail through the USPS postal system without a federal warrant. If you're not being investigated and your package doesn't completely break open, what is their to be afraid of? The amount of drugs going through the mail is staggering, and less than a percent of it is ever seized. And only a fraction of that percent is actually pursued as an arrest by LE

Also, it is harder to get away with it in countries like Russia because they don't offer the same rights to their citizens

Having a package with drugs sent to your mailbox doesnt constitute possession. prior knowledge or knowing must be proven that the recipent intended to recieve drugs in order to recieve a conviction for drug possession.

Its easy enough to hide the goods within packages.. know how there are thousands of ebay auctions won everyday? well those go through the mail too, and its very easy to hide pills/weed within. Of if its powder stuff its even easier, a normal envelope.. the kind of letters people get all the time. Unless they're looking through your mail and spend time to open it up and test it, no one knows whats in there but you and your vendor.

I am comfortable buying dugs because it has happened many times without problem. I am in US. A whole lot of people buy their prescription pills and stuff through the mail, so a pill bottle or a bunch of blister packs with pills rattling inside just doesn't get any attention. Plus in US we are allowed to order prescription meds from other countries, a 3-month supply I believe. Even if customs did look at them, as long as they are regular pharmacy pills or whatnot, customs would have no way to know whether you have a legit scrip or not, and I'm guessing they won't do the work to find out, unless they have other good reasons to believe you are up to something. I am comfortable doing this. Of course, huge or frequent amounts, or something like stinky weed, maybe a different story. I have ordered cannabis edibles, no problems, personal use amounts.

[1 Points] Tussthethief:

Seeing as they don't exactly look inside every package (plus most first class mail would require a search warrant in the US) and if you do it right there's no way to prove you even ordered it. So my conjecture is that you are stupid.

For the good 'ol U.S of A check this post I made to help find this resource for the postal office, and CDs because its buried in the sidebar. This is what you do, or don't do as described in the resources

No one actually buys drugs over the internet, it's all just imaginary. This is all an elaborate economics experiment. It's just a game, really.

People send packages every single day!

There's so much mail there is no way they could check it all. Try it out and you'll feel easy after the first pack ya get ;)
