As often as you clearnet login.

Up to how much personal details you are willing to expose. Veteran accounts have more clout and therefore are taken more seriously.
A Vendor Review from a throwaway is not going to be taken as seriously as a Vendor Review from an active contributor to the forum.

i honestly think it depends on what you post. its not illegal to join subreddits for things that are illegal. i mean, arent there almost 80k members of DNMs?
[1 Points] HofmannsHeir:
I suppose it depends what information lies on said reddit account.

I'm always amazed at people's use of throwaways. I've seen people use throwaways just to post links and stupid shit like that. Unless you're saying something that really links you to a crime, and you don't typically use tor for normal posting, throwaways are kind of useless. Even then, why wouldn't you have an account for tor posting and an account for typical browsing?

my hard drive is encrypted, so I doubt they will be able to pin my reddit account on me

Don't use your real name on reddit DNM... it's common sense. Use an alias that's not tied to your identity. Simple. Use TOR or TOR -> VPN with no-log policy and you're good to go (like Cryptostorm or NordVPN).
I believe Reddit doesn't keep users' IP addresses, no?
As long as it has "throwaway" or some variation in the username they can't pin anything on you, it's in the same part of the constitution that deals with the SWIM loophole and how cops have to say they are cops.
We're safe, don't worry.
