Dread update 0.2 and Wall Street Market security report added

Dread has been up and running for almost 2 weeks now and we have surpassed 2,500
users which is amazing and I've loved the great responses from everyone.

Surprisingly I've only had minor bugs recorded and also had a huge amount of great
suggestions that I will be implementing. I pushed new updates for version 0.2 a
couple of nights ago which has improved aspects of the user interface and fixed
some small issues that have been ocurring.

Thank you to everyone for all the support and donations, it's a huge help and I'm
glad I've been able to start a useful service for the whole community.
There's lots more to come from Dread over the next few weeks and it will be
good to see it grow further. It would be appreciated if vendors could provide a
link to their Dread profile in their market bio's etc to help with the growth
and also market admins can contact me to set up their official Subdread
communities for their market.

I was afraid of the day LE really set there sights on Reddit

Just thought I'd stop by here and say thanks. Dread has been fantastic. If you aren't on it, or even registered just to have some place to go if shit hits the fan here, I really don't know why. It's basically what this community has needed since its inception. Not to mention, it's basically just a dark reddit. I mean, shit, subreddits are literally called subdreadits over there now.

One of the golden rules of every researcher is to never use one sole secondary source for your information. In this case, it's Reddit. Sure, some unique and nice information pops up on here, and I'm by no means saying to abandon this place once and for all. There's just more to this scene then this subreddit.

The only people I see not at least looking through Dread every few days are the people that browse without TOR, which I'll never understand, but more power to them.

I'm kind of rambling, but the bottom line is just to diversify your portfolio, everyone. The Hub, Dread, they're all great resources right now if you want to be in a much safer environment, especially with Dread adding new features that this subreddit would bust a nut over. It's unbiased, it's clean, it has security reports for all the big markets, has their mirrors auto-updating (in the future), the list goes on.

Dread is by no means the best thing in the entire world or anything, but it's making all the right moves (so far). Good on /u/HugBunter for starting this, it's exciting for sure.

Nice. But it shows all Onions offline on Dread.

I am curious about the legality of running Dread? Could u/Hugbunter get in trouble for creating the site?

[2 Points] burden_of_boof:

Id just like to remind our fair crowd at Dread that when you are making suggestions or giving feedback or saying "THIS SUCKS".. keep in mind what stage the site is in. Only so much can be done, and it's done by priority. Suggestions like UI tweaks and features are great and all but you gotta be realistic about how important they are at this time. It's like telling a baby "You aren't walking yet? Here lets get you some running shoes".

or something.

hugbunter, you da real mvp

[1 Points] ThePrinceOfFrance:

I love you, u/hugbunter
