Prosecution submits letter to address the admissibility of testimony the defense elicited on Thursday and seeks to continue eliciting from Special Agent Jared Der-Yeghiayan concerning Mark Karpeles

Guess they did not like that:

Only four pages in, but here's a summary:

Silkroadmarket.org was hosted on a server owned by Kalyhost, a webhosting service owned by Karpeles.

Prosecution says they got a warrant to search Karpeles's email, and found evidence that Silkroadmarket.org was operated by a Kalyhost customer named Richard Page.

Prosecution says they found a file on Ulbricht's computer named "aliaces [sic]", which included an entry for Richard Page. They go on to say the address in Ulbricht's aliases file matches the address provided to Kalyhost when he set up the website.

If this is true, that is one more nail in the coffin for Ross.

Gem #2, Mt Gox records show a suspected SilkRoad wallet was "consistently" accessed from an IP address tied to Ross.

prosecution makes a good case. lets see what the judge says

[4 Points] DeafPirateRoberts:

Dick Page and Max Borders? Those are the best alias names you got, Ross? SMH

Damn. How fucking depressing must it be to have the entire contents of your laptop and phone analyzed by the FBI...

[2 Points] octoglucochon:

I wonder why the prosecution seemed so bothered by the testimony if they have this damning evidence? I guess they don't want to introduce any doubt but the jury's already heard it.

At this point, you'd think they'd just want to highlight all these damning facts they have that not only exonerates Karpeles but proves it was Ross. All seems so strange.

[2 Points] gwern:

Anyone else notice in the screenshot of the laptop contents a folder named 'EVE'? Guess Ulbricht liked to played EVE Online...
