Ok, firstly I am in no way affiliated to Tormarket or any of the darknet markets out there. I'm just a simple buyer looking to minimize my risk and get my product.
I wasn't in the DarkMarket scene when sheep was around but even if Tor is owned by the owners of Sheep as many rumors claim, it doesn't matter.
Atleast for buyers, the risk is very minimal. Let's say you buy something from a vendor who ships in 2 business days. You deposit directly to temp address which is given to you by Tormarket. Your exposed only for 2 days and only the amount of funds you used to make that purchase. After that, the entire risk is assumed by the vendor cuz your item is already shipped so even if Tor goes down 2 days after you make your payment, you still get your item.
So everyone stop worrying about Tormarket being started by the owners of sheep. At least for buyers, it doesn't matter. Its the vendors who have to tread lightly, especially if they are not allowed FE.
BS this is TM pr response to factual security issues, STAY away from TorMarket (aka sheep)!
