Empty box/wrong item escrow scam?

how would you handle if vender sent you empty box or random item and gave tracking number to market staff to win resolution? what can you do in such situations? how you handle without losing money? i heard this is a good scamming way even with escrow...

It's called selective scamming and if a vendor with a solid reputation does this to you there is nothing you can do about it.

I once had a vendor send me some allergy meds instead of footballs on BSM. He provided a tracking number and all. The seller had little feedback and 1 negative one and maybe 2 positive ones at the time but I bet they were fake. Anyway, I opened a dispute on BSM and I uploaded a picture of what he sent me, he tried to make up some story and say he'd reship. I denied it and ended up only getting a 50% refund. Then about a week later I got the other 50%. By the way don't ever work with Ideal Pills

Pretty much your only protection is feedback. If the vendor is on a site where their feedback stays up for very long (so basically every marketplace but Agora) then they won't want everyone seeing a "0/5 vendor sent an empty box!" review on their profile.
