Impulse sealing question

Hello guys, bit of a dealer(no one cares about it much where I live) but people don't want their parents knowing and its better not to smell super dank so I have a question. Realized I had an impulse sealer http://donhamequipment.easystorecreator.com/images/Sealer%20MX28265-L.jpg like the one in this pic that is able to seal items. I am wondering if instead of getting a vacuum sealer if its possible for me to just impulse seal plastic bags or ziplocs (Mainly for ounces, would most likely use this to conceal ounces or half ounces) rather then use mylar bags? BTW this isn't to protect against dogs mostly against parents and incase you ride the public transit etc...

As long as the bag is made from mylar, regular ziploc bags leak smell like crazy in comparison

Could use vacuum sealer bags with it too. Mylar is better......

mylar is more than enough for your purposes. I have multiple lbs sealed up in separate MBB bags, you cant smell anything. I used to use primarily mason jars but now just use mylar, just cut the top off and reseal later.

you might also want into getting some turkey bags. they're see through, and you just knot them at the end. you'd never think theyre as smellproof as MBB, but they are (at least if tightly knotted and its a human doing the smelling). plus theyre easier to reseal than MBB

I would like to point out that turkey bags are not smell proof.

don't use ziploc, use vaccum sealer rolls. it'll work fine. using a sealer like that is much better for weed than a vaccum sealer - no squashed buds and you can keep air inside like a crisp packet
