So now that Wells Fargo is with LE too...

Now that Wells Fargo is going to start checking IDs for cash deposits starting 02/01/16 is there any other bank out there that doesn't? or is there any bank that doesn't check ID for under a certain amount?

also does anyone know what they even do with your ID? do they label your name on the cash deposit? or why do they even need it?

They use your ID to glean biometric data from the images of your retinal veins visible in the pictures. This will be used to make fake yet realistic rubber eyeballs for use in espionage and military intelligence. These ersatz eyeballs will be used to establish overseas bank acounts in the name of the stolen identity, for use in money laundering and financial destabilization operations.

Duh.

BoA dosen't if you're a BoA customer already.

Chase has been doing it since like 2014 and capital one doesn't do it.

Have you tried a different branch? Perhaps this is not a corporate policy; maybe they just got suspicious when a young stoner pulled up to the bank to deposit a bunch of cash into someone else's account. Maybe the person you buy from has another bank you can use?

Why put cash in the bank anyway? I hate having too much cash. It is guaranteed to depreciate until he inevitable collapse of the American empire. I'd rather invest in just about anything else. My multiple identities feel the same way.
