I've been searching this subreddit but I'm still confused. Were the mods of evolution caught or not?

So what exactly happened with that? I read a bunch of 5-8 months post about how a former engineer had wrote backdoors into the code, and was hot on the trail. Me being a huge nerd, this made for thrilling reading, but now I'm confused. Where these people ever caught? It seems like a shitload of money for them to just walk off into the night.

Nope, all of those posts were from trolls or scammers trying to get bounties or bribes. They seem to have gotten away clean.

Had the opsec of a ebay seller that made my Day but I'm tripping balls I was laughing at a duck a few minutes ago.

The PR dude NSWGreat is active on Nucleus, though its probably a AFP agent operating the handle now lol since he had the fuckin OPSEC of an ebay seller.

You know, this is a good point. None of these market admins that skate with the cash get caught. I guess it seems like the two options for an admin are get out and steal everyone's money or get arrested. I saw that they found that fat neckbeard from sheep and there was some kind of investigation related to money laundering or something. None of the others I've ever heard anything about.

Nope. They're living happily ever after

the admins Kimble & Verto got away, the mods were never in on it so were not in danger of keyboard warrior nonsense

It certainly was an interesting time, simply because i didn't get caught in the windfall. My condolences to those that did. But with the amount of money they made off with, there was a zero percent chance they were going to be caught
