Posts about BTC fees, times etc

Here are a few I've seen on the front page just this morning:

"I am going to LOSE IT!!! It's been 6 hours and I'm still waiting for my BTC to clear!!"

"I deposited btc into Dream around 4 days ago and it still has not been confirmed still"

"What are you all doing now that btc transaction fees are $20+?"

"BTC Fee"

Guys. What are you doing? BTC is not a functional currency anymore and likely never will be again. Even if it were - Monero is a superior alternative in every single regard. Protect your privacy, sanity and wallet.

Libertas, Zion, Wallst all accept Monero as do the vast majority of vendors over DD.

you can also post this link to such repetitive posts asking about fees https://www.reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarketsNoobs/wiki/bible/buyer/bitcoin/unconfirmedtransactions and report the post.

till today I have never seen users do this but they always complain about these posts. so please help us reducing these posts if you do not want to see them.

Too bad the largest market doesn’t have monero support

I just cashed out all my BTC to XMR. BTC is dead when it comes to the DNMs.

bitcoin cash is faster and cheaper but if you want privacy xmr is the only answer.

I know bitcoin is getting frustrating.

What are we doing? Well let's see....Wall St market is a piece of shit that takes 5 mins to load a page and has other major issues going on as well. Libertas/Zion have shit listings and shitty vendors that no one has ever heard of that are just waiting to scam ppl.

Dream isn't great but I've yet to be ripped off by the market or a vendor there in over 20 transactions over the past 2 yrs. So yah imma keep paying the high fees.

Just cost me 15 gbp to send 5 :/ piece of shit

It’s really annoying that there’s this sudden hype to “invest” money into digital currency, thanks to bitcoin. The current prices and market for it all, including monero, is crazy inflated and it’s bugging the ever living shit out of me.

Monero is a great currency, but it has high fees also. I remember the good old times (not so old, less than a year ago) when we paid like 0.08-0.15 dollar fee in bitcoin to get our transactions going... Now 20$, it's just gross, It became almost unusable for my purchases when the fees reached 1.5$...

Monero has 3-4$ fees in most exchanges to your personal wallet and then at least the low fee from your personal wallet to market wallet which I think is 4X less (if you use a wallet that lets you use it). Better than btc but still hardly (painfully) usable for personal amount buyers. Hope it gets better though as I read that they were working on implementing something that reduces transaction size a 80% or so. Still almost 1$ from exchanges to personal wallet and 0.25$ from personal to market wallet...

Markets will rise again when cryptocurrencies address their problems with fees skyrocketing as the price increase...

We're looking into implementing this to be used in our vendor store. We thought about launching a santa-sale where we'd sell a gram of mdma for 4-ish per gram and have the possibility to pay for for it to be donated to charity, but with the current fees thats not really going to work now is it?

Better get Monero working soon, or if someone has other coins we should consider, let us know..!

I transferred coin to AGR and it only took like 20 mins with a medium fee a few days ago...

Would I still have to pay an insane amount of blockchain fees to convert BTC to LTC?

Please note that WallStreet Market is not listed because of very serious issues. You should avoid it at all costs.

BCH would be easier to implement over BTC. and have low fees, so you can use tumbler

What about ZCash?
