Pros & Cons of owning a P.O. Box

First I'd like to start off by saying I'm a personal buyer & have been using DNM for about a year now. I don't typically order a lot probably like once or twice a month as I tend to be extra cautious when ordering & only order from the same vendor every time. Now I've done a lot of research on the topic and have gotten mixed answers & opinions. I know its much a safer to order to your own home but due to my living situation that is not possible. I've also seen how some vendors do not ship to PO boxes for unknown reasons? This makes me worry. I've successfully open up a PO box using my real name & other info. I was hoping some of you guys could shed some light on this subject & please feel free to share your PO box experiences, any advice + tips are greatly appreciated!!!

:)

EDIT: I'm located in the US & mostly order reefer

It's not neccessarily safer to order mail to your house instead of a PO box. Your mail is still going to be hand sorted by the same people at the post office box, but instead of being loaded on the truck it's placed directly in the PO box or locker if it doesn't fit.

I've only had great experiences using a PO box with all sorts of boxes, letters, and international mail. Most niggas at the post office just do not give a single fuck. They don't care about one or two extra flat rate boxes a week, but will get suspicious if you're getting dollhouse sized boxes filled with loud on the reg.

The biggest negative with a box is that you lose all plausible deniability if a pack gets seized. Street addresses are public record while PO boxes are not. You couldn't claim some rando meth head shipped you rock, because you're the one with the key.

I got one because I don't trust my roommates. They just haven't been to jail before and don't know cops.

OP, if you are in fact ordering "the reefer" to your PO box, be careful. Make sure that your vendor's stealth is solid (immediately inform your vendor of any special needs you may have). If you can, get a PO box in another town, a box that's "close to the office" if you're questioned by employees (if you are filed into a grand system).

Sit on them for a while, order normal shit. They are your boxes to begin with, right? Steady orders from Amazon and other online auctions will help break up your "routine." Just make sure you don't let them sit there for days at a time, while you scramble to pick up your special orders. Making yourself seem like a normal guy takes a lot of work, but you can do it. Many of us are living, breathing examples. Above all, nothing beats practicing good OPSEC. Keep your nose clean, your head down, and don't piss people off (locals). Good luck.

Edit: The purpose of having two boxes is so you can break up the order routine. A guy I went to college with, an SR1 buyer, was caught because USPS workers got nosey and started profiling him. After LE intercepted one of his shipments, he started flipping on local dealers to gain leniency. Don't put yourself in that position, OP.

Do not get a P.O. box, get a Private MailBox.
