Hi all,
I've been making legal items for a while now, and I'd like to start vending on darknet markets. I'd be selling items that I already sell on the clearnet, though. Items that could be easily linked to my identity. I won't say what I'll be vending, unfortunately, until I mull over the security issues.
I want to start vending on darknet markets because I want to support them on principle, because it would be a good way to earn BTC, and because I think I could have a decent customer base.
I'm concerned that if someone were to connect my darknet activities to my clearnet activities it could have fallout (law enforcement stalking my mailbox, etc.), even though I wouldn't be doing anything illegal.
Do I have anything to worry about, selling legal items on a market?
Will I get hassled by law enforcement when my identity is inevitably found out?
What additional steps could I take to separate my vending (legal) account from accounts I'd use to order illegal things? I feel like once my name is attached to a market, I'll no longer be able to order drugs because I'll be under scrutiny.
I'm also concerned that sending products to customers from a valid return address could unmask them simply because they'd be ordering from a known darknet vendor. Given, they could also have ordered my products through legal channels.
Any opinions are welcome. My technical security (encryption, tumbling, anonymizing, etc.) is already pretty good; I'm more concerned with having my name attached to a market.
I'm looking into selling on The Marketplace.
Thanks for any advice!
