Is it almost time to take SRII off the wall of shame?

I remember in January when so many people lost their bitcoins at SRII. It was terrible and caused me personally to lose faith in the site and move most of my business to other DNM. However, I think they have handled the fallout admirably. They have been paying back all those who lost bitcoins out of their own pockets for the last 5 months now. Silk Road 2 has some unique products and almost all good vendors. I think maybe it is time to look objectively at the market as a legitimate operation and take it off the wall of shame.

They don't even have a working escrow. No sane person would use that market.

There's many vendors on SR who don't vend on other markets. I won't hold a grudge if it's not in my interest. They also repaid 90% of lost escrow coins, from their own fees; prolly all of them to be paid next week

They fucked up twice. On top of losing the bitcoins (which I know they're working to pay back, yes), their policy of letting people send unencrypted messages has no doubt led to people being arrested. They are incredibly irresponsible and they should absolutely not be removed from the wall of shame.

You are in the wrong subreddit my friend.

I haven't been following it. I've long since abandoned the SR image entirely. Let it die, imo.

Have they moved over to a completely new system, database, servers, etc? and have they fully paid back the lost BTC? Until that's done imo they are untrustworthy. Probably still wouldn't trust them anyways. Too much shady business with them
