There is a lot of FUD about Bitcoin XT. Over at /r/bitcoinxt, a user put things into perspective.

See the table here: https://www.reddit.com/r/bitcoinxt/comments/3hkfyf/i_strongly_disagree_with_the_idea_that_changing/cu88jsu

Blockstream has their own agenda trying to keep things at 1mb. BitcoinXT will keep things more or less the same as they are now.

Be wary of 'side-chain technolgy' or products by Blockstream that are not even coded (Lightning Network).

Info about Blockstreams "recent release" (satiracle but has truth to it): https://www.reddit.com/r/bitcoinxt/comments/3hvuwd/blockstream_core_012_released_click_here_to_see/

Satoshi handed the reins over to Gavin Andresen who is part of the core developers of Bitcoin and even he supports 8mb+.

You can tell me anything you want about XT. The simple issue of rerouting my traffic out of Tor still stands. No Tor, No go.

ASIC mining will eventually kill our favourite coin. Since they came in we've gone from 100,000s of miners to probably under 500.

Numbers are completely made up and I have nothing to back that comment up
