Shipping Woes (Half Rant, Half Shitpost)

Placed an order Sunday from my go to vendor -- guaranteed to be here by midweek like clockwork every time I order. That sweet opiate high (Roxicodone 30mg) is literally 72 hours away from the time I press "finalize" every. . .damn. . .time. Things were shaping up to be more of the same. Order shows up in myUSPS Monday evening (alright I say to myself game time, a pack of blues will be in my hand by Thursday morning at the latest). Come to find out the universe had alterior plans.

My pack hits my local sorting center only to be sent off to the wrong zip code. Some employee/sorting machine or combination of the two decided my pack needed to go to a zip code over 2 hours away. A day later the pack is rerouted back to the local sorting center to be sent off to the correct zip code. However this is where it gets super f*cked -- tracking is stuck at "departed shipping center" and is currently stuck at this status, that was roughly ~10 hours ago. Time to burn down Belize and move to lawyer? Not yet.

Oh hell that sux. I figure I know the vendor you are talking about but doesn't sound like its his fault. I had a pack and it's tracking do some weird shit a few months ago. Pack went to wrong zip like yours and didn't move until midnight. Then I see it hit the distribution center in my city. Great. They are fixing the problem and should have it next morning! around 1am shows it left and I'm guessing heading towards my PO. Awesome! The. At 5am I check and the time moves!! Shows departed distribution facility at like 3am instead of 1am. Old time stamp not there at all. Did this every hour!

Got my pack okay. But was nervous. I'm sure you'll be fine. But it's terrifying.

USPS has been very shitty last couple weeks; I've had packages from all clearnet and darknet being fucked up. I had few amazon be a day late, few dn being a week late, and what not. Sent a family member some baby clothes and they were supposed to be delivered on Monday, but weren't delivered until yesteday.

They are landing, just not as fast as they used to.
