[OPSEC/Computer] REPLACE HARDWARE BETTER OPSEC?

I know the government uses some pretty heavy malware and was wondering if maybe its smart for us to replace hardware often...I would think vendors should do it once every 4-6 months (not updates like getting new HD or new flash drive or what have you or if you have the cash new computer and start fresh NOBACKUP) like alot of us laymen who use the sites can't keep out sophisticated malware because we dont know where to look. so for the health of the community should we just make an upgrade to a clean slate every so often? I know after stuxnet the only way they could really get rid of it was to replace the computers not saying we all have cyber weapons infecting our computers but still. if they want it there they know how to keep it there. also its not like you have to trash the computer you could just sell it since its working just fine and whoever uses it will never know it has some Illuminati shit on it. I read about something called SauronsEye on here and it kinda scared me.....Like If I was a vendor i'd be getting new computers all the time! and would make tails copies by the dozen. should just be part of operating costs.

Stuxnet infected the firmware of the control systems, that's why they had to scrap the whole thing.

Getting new hardware would be pointless. It's impossible to tell if the firmware is infected without specialized tools. Hard drives and flash drives can be formatted or zeroed out if someone is ultra paranoid.
