Alprazolam is one of the most popular drugs on DNMs. So, am I reading this right? If someone were to get nabbed with 10 kgs of alprazolam, they could legally only receive a maximum of 5 years and 250k fine (in the US)?
This goes against what the whole Canadian xanax thing people believe, that Quantik operates only out of Canada because it has a maximum of 3 year sentence.
This is assuming no other charges, which should be a reasonable assumption if OPSEC is tight.
It's not that simple. The charge for trafficking itself carries a max of 5 years, but that won't stop them from stacking the charges or throwing another charge on top, AKA intent, conspiracy, possession, etc.
They don't fuck around with drug traffickers and they will bury you as deep as they can.
