Need some advice. $20 reward!

I am a 15 year old kid living in a US friendly nation. I have little interest in all your loverly drugs however 'hacking' is more of a interest to me. I am trying to decide if I should keep up these activities or walk away. I understand that kids my age are not always the best decision makers and I figure that getting an outside opinion on this might be a good idea. My main fear is getting prosecuted for my activities - either now or in the more distant future.
My current opsec is reasonable, anything darknet related through either Tails or Whonix. My past opsec wasn't so good and included using IOS tor browsers and tor-to-web services over a vpn. During this bad opsec I unfortunately visited some of the not so good links on the Hidden Wiki.
As I see it my two options are either to: carry on with my current activities while increasing opsec or to destroy my Tails USB and format all my hard drives that have ever had tor on them. I am currently in possession of multiple credit card numbers (brought from evo) and have researched and setup two different options that will enable me to steal more than 1 bitcoin immediately. If I decide to quit I have over 0.2 bitcoins that I would donate to (somewhere?).

Please put aside your ethical considerations and suggest what you think is the best thing for me to do in my situation. The $20 (0.03 bitcoins) reward is for whatever response I consider the most valuable to me (either option). If a moderator would be willing to hold onto the 0.03 bitcoin reward please PM me.

This might not be what you want to hear and I'm sorry if it is.

I would strongly advise you to continue your computer education and turn it more white hat. Companies pay very very well to have hackers test their stuff. You could scratch that itch you have and not risk jail or prison time and almost certainly get more money out of it long term that way.

Just my two cents from a guy not invested in this scene like the rest. You've got a long life ahead of you. You can do what you want to do AND not have the worry in the back of your head that one day you'll get caught.

It's really up to you to decide if the potential risk is worth the potential reward.

My advice: don't run with a stick in your mouth.

Hey my late father said if you can get away with it then why not. But in the end the decision is yours.

At 15 I was all set to leave my house, drop out of high school and sell drugs. Patience my friend... Glad you're into "hacking", takes a smart cookie to get good at it, but take some time to learn what your passion is. Is it the rush of hacking or expanding your knowledge and perfecting a craft? All I can say to you is stay the course... Never do something where you can't weigh the risks and be wary that you're treading in deep waters. Feds don't fuck around, if they want to find you they will find you.

What type of hacking do you do stealing cc, hacking facebook or what?

First of all, I want to say that it is very mature of you to admit that you don't know everything and that you do realize there's two decisions of you to make.

1) Do you really want to take the risk of being caught and arrested with stolen credit card numbers? That's a felony and you will serve a good time in prison. The government has a penitentiary on the border of Pennsylvania and Maryland that is full of hackers who didn't use their skills foe the betterment of society. It isn't a fun place, I went on a tour there. Its like a prison but full of hackers who do the governments dirty work.

2) I can tell you have great potential, I really do. As "donttellmymomwhatido" said, why don't you use you're skills for later in life when you have the opportunity to have a great paying job that I'm sure you'd enjoy?

You could either continue this path of fraud and hacking and realize that what you did was really stupid after you got caught, and then you'd want to get a job in the computer field later in life, but can't because of your record.

OR

You can quit this now and find a good hobby that suits you until you can get a job that you like, and be satisfied.

I hope you make the right choice, my friend. You have great potential.

Your opsec is poor because you gave out your age and possible location.
