[Scam Warning] Middle Earth Marketplace Just charged me 0.2 BTC to withdraw 2 BTC? WTF

I was doing some tumbling between darknet markets, withdrawing from one to the other, before i make a purchase.

Usually i get charged a withdrawal fee, or max 1%,

But i noticed i'm missing 0.2 BTC after withdrawing my coins from Middle Earth Marketplace.

Now, if they took 1-3% it's reasonable, 10% hidden fee, is just extortion. How the fuck does this market even exist in the sidebar without a warning?

Did i sign up for something i didn't realise? i just lost over 60 bucks and it's a big deal for me.

OUCH! I know you wished you read the rules of MEM first. You can't get it back, so lesson learned

[8 Points] honestlyimeanreally:

They clearly state that you get charged for depositing and withdrawing without buying anything...you learned your lesson for a small price!

What would transferring coins between markets accomplish?

[5 Points] throwawayy454633:

Brother, I think you should make sure to read everything before you press buttons, you don't sound very old, every action has consequences, why would you use an illegal website without clicking every link and digesting all the information?

The only logical solution is that you must be young and inexperienced.

Quit whining, read the rules, if you did then you would have read the warning and steered clear. But you didn't so don't blame anyone but yourself.

That blows but it's clearly stated in the info part. They gotta do this cuz they're a low volume site and need to find a way to make extra coin. As repulsed as I am by MEMs interface and unprofessional virgin admins, this isn't a scam. It is a huge load of bullshit though.

10% hidden fee

Like totally no bro

[1 Points] justmyanonaccount:

The point is that MEM is not intended to be used as a tumbling service and the clearly described 10% fee for purchase-less withdrawals is precisely the admins' way of preventing the site's misuse for that function. I do not see it as an unfair cash-grab, but as a simple solution to a market problem.

It's unfortunate that you didn't catch the warning about the fee, but there are many posts here that refer to it and it is found several places on the Middle Earth Marketplace site as well. No one is here to scold you for not doing your research and I understand why you're upset but I believe your anger is misplaced.

I hope you can take something positive away from this experience and good luck to you.

Maybe if you are really nice and told them you fucked up and ask bilbo really nice, they will return your 0.2btc

MEM is falling down. It is similar like East India Company which try look at new Hansa market which is running the same source-code as EVOLUTION has. It is embarrassing they do not change logo and took another fallen market name. So please do full research before you put your hard earned money into some carder or other fishy person with bad reputation or history!
