Sign the Kratom Petition

It takes two seconds to sign this:

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov//petition/please-do-not-make-kratom-schedule-i-substance

Fuck the DEA!!! Without this plant I will surely dive right back into my pill addiction. Do the right thing and sign it. It will be the easiest thing you do all day. Thanks.

After kratom was made illegal to sell in the UK, I switched back over to heroin and am now on bupe maintenance. Another triumph for prohibition!

[12 Points] FunnyTrips:

Forget Kratom

The DEA is out of line and we need an overhaul

They've been ignoring science longer than anyone and need to change.

Kratom has no business as schedule 1 but neither does THC, they need to change or be prepared to continue flushing billions down the drain - the Feds will never admit they were ever wrong, ever. It would be the same as a surrender

Why do these petitions always read as if a 12-year-old wrote them? Are we really going to "fuck the DEA," when we're signing a petition that wasn't even proof-read?

There is at least 1 major grammatical error on every line...

Deaths that involve Kratom being a persons' system have always been from the result of mixing Kratom

What?

THIS is the petition we're rallying behind?

You just listed the likely #1 reason it is even being scheduled, much less schedule 1. Pharma companies which have the lobbying power and deep pockets want the DEA to eliminate their competition for them. If you're doing kratom to stem a pill addiction, you're costing them money, because that is money the pharma companies could make via prescriptions.

[5 Points] shadowofashadow:

Waste of time. The dea does not listen to reason, science or their constituents. They do what they can to perpetuate themselves and no petition will change that.

[5 Points] Thinkingafrica:

These people want power over others, plain and simple.

I just got out of a month long Percocet bender that could've left me homeless where it not for Kratom. Please Sign

[1 Points] Badger_Storm:

Unfortunately, signing this will do nothing at all. You are thinking logically, and the DEA doesn't operate that way.

[1 Points] nonstickpotts:

Fuck man. Its part of the coffee plant family! It just barely does anything! It helped me quit weed!

[1 Points] chirstain:

we need a violent uprising. clearly words rent gonna do shit

What is karoma and why is it so dope? Anyone?

[1 Points] pozifa:

Can this petition really change anything?

[1 Points] Heisencock:

I have yet to see these petitions help any issue that's been signed enough times, but I can't help but sign anyway because I need to see the bullshit "Well, the DEA is a professional agency we have the upmost respect and trust for, and we trust their judgement and if science says its good we'll reconsider blahblahblah"

This is one of the first big changes I've seen that have hurt my heart. I don't use Kratom, nor have I tried it, but I've read the stories from addicts about how it's a miracle for them and it makes me think about friends I've lost or will lose to opiates and it just hurts my fucking heart.

[1 Points] timmyfellinthewell:

Anyone know a place I can buy some kratom?
