I've been getting some things every other month or so, on AB delivered to my home. It's always domestic (US to US) and I've never had any problems. I've been doing this for the last 6 months.
Last week when I ordered, I got a message from seller that domestic was unavailable, would I take a shipment from overseas. I would get 30% more and would be shipped priority, I would have it this week.
Since I have a medical condition, and would run out soon, I said yes. Yesterday we got a pink USPS "we missed you" slip. Since we were here all day, we called the USPS to ask what happened (she said the postal carrier knocked not used the doorbell, were on the second floor and wouldn't have heard it). They said it needed a signature and they would redeliver it tomorrow.
First off, and I know it could be just a lazy postman, it didn't say it needed a signature on the slip. Second, when I called and gave USPS the tracking number, she said she couldn't find it at first. She then asked for the address, which I gave her, and she found it. She then said it needed a signature and would be redelivered tomorrow (today/Thursday).
It's an EM or Priority Mail Express (first letters in the tracking no) and IN on the end I believe means India. Do I sign for it? If my SO (not same last name) signs for it, is he liable? I'm going to get my computer out of the apt, along with any info on my phone. We will still have his computer which is clean. I'm also doing everything on a phone we don't use as a phone and will put that with my computer to be removed from the house.
So is this a CD? What should I do to prepare for it being a CD? Help!
Ps. I'm new to posting, please be gentle. Also thank you so much to anyone who has any answers.
India express mail requires a signature by USPS. Just go sign for your pack or leave the signed slip in the mailbox and they'll drop off the pack the next day.
