What is wrong with it, chemically?
Meth: quite strong with all the usual effects, but no euphoria.

Ok, it did cross my mind to mention that tolerance is not the reason here. Apologies, I should have said that in the opening post.

Something must be wrong because meth is the only drug that will get you high no matter how long you have been.
I doubt its the drug. When your brain is exposed to a surge of dopamine from the drug it first goes through allostasis. It tries to lower the dopamine level in your receptors saying this shit aint right. When this fails and you keep using keeping your dopamine level high your brain adapts and changes plans. Now your pleasure threshold of dopamine is different. It goes through something else called homeostasis and practically being high becomes normal. Im guessing you've gotten to that point where your brain adapted to the normal dose you take.
