Finalize early, deliver late :(

In the first instance I think credit is due to those honest vendors who have been around for years with good feedback, not only have they earned our trust but also the right to ask for FE. A big part of that good reputation is often rapid delivery times for some. There are some vendors with less impressive track records in terms of time on the dnms but with good feedback overall but a consistent feature of the feedback is the time taken to receive products. So I ask you all: Should FE early require items to be shipped within next 24 hours were possible. The loss of escrow and the added risk to the buyer should surely be rewarded with less days panicking about if and when a package is going to to be sent, let alone receive it.

tl/dr; if a buyer FEs a vendor should aim to ship within 24hrs. What do you think?

You can't enforce anything when you FE. If you want terms of your order that will be enforced, don't FE.

IIRC SR2 used to have a similar "feature" since all transactions were FE and the coins weren't released until it was marked shipped.

Didn't work well obviously.

" be rewarded with less days panicking " That is on you.

If you FE on an Escrow listing from a vendor you don't absolutely trust, the joke's on you: You're betting all your money for a potential possibility that you'll get better service. FE helps the vendors with cash flow, but BTC has been holding steady since the beginning of the year with small daily fluctuations up and down.
The vendors who know what they're doing--the ones who're not desperate for immediate cash to buy the next batch--don't really care if you FE or not.
