The FDA just outlawed CBDs and hemp oil...

http://www.theeventchronicle.com/news/north-america/fda-just-outlawed-cbds-hemp-oil/#

Hemp oil extracts containing CBDs (cannibidiols) are such a threat to the pharmaceutical industry that the FDA is now invoking totally insane justifications for outlawing them.

How very progressive and modern.
Thank you big brother, for always concerning your self with what I chose to put in my body and making certain that I'm beholden to big pharmaceutical. (FUCK THE GOVERNMENT)

[61 Points] globking:

Hemp-based CBD Oil is complete bullshit to begin with, anyways.

EDIT: Downvote me you fuccbois: http://www.cbdfarm.org/knowledge-center/why-not-hemp-oil-2.html

"CBD is not a product or component of hemp seeds, and labeling to that effect is misleading and motivated by the desire to take advantage of the legal gray area of CBD under federal law."

Some of you fucks need to do some research

The FDA didn't outlaw anything. They don't have that power. All they're doing is proposing a schedule control.

[6 Points] MBaggott:

This isn't change. The FDA and DEA have both always taken the position that CBD is Schedule I.

What the fuck is this

[4 Points] crystaldust:

i don't know why people are freaking out about this.

its the a federal agency that is now looking into marijuana products for legitimate medical uses. if you ask me this is one step closer to federally reclassifying marijuana, which would make that much closer to national medical marijuana or total legalization for that matter.

they say enforcement action depends on threat to public health.

obviously if cbd is in clinical investigation trials then depending on the outcome of said investigations there will be no health threat. they will find the same thing out with marijuana. they are talking about going after companies that miss label products, or otherwise have different ingredients than listed.

The FDA will continue to facilitate the work of companies interested in appropriately bringing safe, effective, and quality products to market, including scientifically-based research concerning the medicinal uses of marijuana.

We have talked to several states, including Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, New York and Pennsylvania, who are considering support for medical research of marijuana and its derivatives to ensure that their plans meet federal requirements and scientific standards

the states mentioned above all do not have medical marijuana programs and the FDA is stating that they are helping formulate a standard for them to roll out a program so i like i said at the top of this post the FDA is helping to facilitate a possible federal re classification of marijuana state by state. that obviously can't be done without a standard. the only bad thing i can see from this is that even though anybody can apply to approve there product via investigation only, approved scientific studies methods will pass.

so that means big companies who have already had studies submitted in the past will get the fast track and smaller entities will struggle to raise the sponsorship monies needed etc.. to conduct trials. etc..

HEALTH FREEDOM ALERT: The FDA assaults CBD extracts, attempts to regulate out of existence but industry pushes back (CORRECTION)http://www.naturalnews.com/053369_CBD_hemp_oil_extract_FDA_regulations.html he corrected himself. kinda

[2 Points] None:

"So I've decided to post a serious correction / clarification to this story to make sure nobody misreads what I'm asserting here, and I apologize for any misconstruing of my intention in posting this, which was to ALERT people to the regulatory assaults of the FDA that are trying to destroy the hemp extract industry. As a food scientist and natural medicine activist, I am 100% pro hemp, pro CBDs and pro plant medicine.

Essentially, my use of the term "outlawed" in the title of my original article was misconstrued. By "outlawed," I meant the FDA essentially writes its own "regulatory laws" and has posted a clear statement on its own website which states that CBDs cannot be sold as a dietary supplement. This is a regulatory attack on hemp extracts, but it is not technically a law that was passed by Congress. I regret my choice of the word "outlawed", and I will be more careful in my choice of words when covering this issue in the future. In the article below, I have replaced any reference to "outlawing" with the more accurate terminology of "regulating out of compliance" or similar language."

My big thing about Big Pharma, the FDA, whoever else is in the mix, but most importantly, their money. No, I'm not after it. I do not wish to make it mine to do with it as I wish. If anything, I'd pay for my living and finish out my schooling to get a degree. That's the most use I could get out of a huge lump sum of money.

The point I am trying to make, is that they are insecure. There is literally enough money in Big Pharma (the whole of the industry, combined) to give out free treatment to the world. It seems the issue here is insecurity. They continue to make it a profitable monster, and they keep it this way, simply because they are scared to live. They are so scared that some new disease will pop out around the corner and them not have the money to pay their way to the cure. This is nonsense. When a cop requires a vehicle to chase after a crook, they point their badge/gun and just take the mother fucker.

Well, same to the pharmaceutical industry. They have enough money that they could stop hiring new employees, finish out their work by hand with who they got, then basically subsidise and allow it to be run by real people, not just lucritive numbers. Let's face it, all we need to survive is food, water, oxygen, good work, and clean fun. When it comes down to it, what is stopping someone like myself from going out on some family owned property, growing my food and just saying fuck it to taxes? Well, the system itself. What did I do wrong? Try to start up a farm to feed the world? And it's as simply as give away some seed, in all honesty. Education and healthcare should remain free is all I'm saying. It's not open source, never has been. Even open source has it's flaws, I know, it's not perfect. But nothing is. I will say, open source is better, all in all, simply because it can be much easily amended. It's there for the public. Let the public be the public.

I don't know what all the fuss is about! CBD Oil has proven medical value. Much more than most people know. Anyone who really believed the bogus FDA Ban story, doesn't really know as much about CBD as they think. You can't believe everything you read, and freak out. CBD is not going to be banned. Human trials are already completed. More are just beginning. CBD has shown to reverse dementia, kill cancer cells, cure epilepsy. It's not going anywhere . I buy CBD Thera's No.42 . There is no better product on the market. Amazing Lab results.
