There SHOULD be an official darknet rating system

Why not have the mods come together and rate the vendors based on things that real world vendors are rated on. Things like: lead time, quality, customer service (responsiveness), price, security, UI, flashing lights. You get it.. We arent reinventing the wheel here people. This is everyday business. The difference is, we the buyers must work in unison like a business in the real world. If a rating is made that clearly does not make sense then lets boot these mods and create a new sub with mods that do see the big picture instead of the extra thousand in their pocket (I have no idea how much a mod would get bribed/paid off for).

Are you talking about the mods of this sub? Seriously?

We do not get paid for this. We do not get paid to link to markets on the sidebar. We do not get paid when vendors post advertisements. We just click a button that adds a flair that says "Vendor Advertisement."

If you'd like to come up with a rating system, feel free.

We have somewhat of a system with the stealth/customer service/product quality categories on some sites, but someone should really do a write-up on exactly what different ratings mean. I want to see the average vendor have a 3/5 rating and only the best vendors have 5/5. Someone should go through each important category and state the requirements for each star from 1-5. I doubt this would ever catch on though; it seems anything less than a 5 star rating today is an insult because of the implications on future sales.

It would work until somebody decided to DDOS it into oblivion, or get into the system and change figures, making their market look better or another's look worse. Everyone is so greedy and deceptive on the dark net I don't think there will ever be a seriously stable .onion website.

Lucky, its not like it would take a long time. You are trusted members of the community so you would be the best people for the job. You could even create a poll (to be taken lightly) to give yourselves a general idea of how these sites stack up. At the very least agree upon a criteria that we as individuals gave make judgements on.
