Looks like they finally found Quantik.
[31 Points] None:
I rarely mock people that don't deserve it, but holy shit this guy looks like the biggest douche in the universe.
That being said, if I had >$1bn to my name, I'd be pretty confident too.
[21 Points] anon1901:
Am I the only one that noticed the shirt in the first photo has the same logo as Quantik, Alpraking?
[12 Points] Dnm_cunt:

getting caught with 12g if meth isn't reasonable suspicion to account for billions of dollars in assets, neither is the man saying he is not at liberty to say where the money comes from either. having a normal nda (non disclosure / confidentiality) trade agreement could prevent him from revealing how he attained that kind of wealth. showing said agreement to the authorities is all he would have to do in order justify said wealth.
if he is holding that kind of wealth for some other party like is alleged then the a fore mentioned agreement would also be standard practice. even if what he says is true that he made that money from selling his app ideas then an nda intellectual property agreement would also be standard. the overseas source of the money can be easily determined, but what the intellectual property is that generated said wealth can not if such agreements are binding.
what is strange to me is why he would use a public attorney if he had that kind of wealth ? maybe its just a game he is playing with the authorities at this point. you don't acquire billions of dollars selling drugs without having a well known cartel. he knows the money is legal tender and is just taunting the authorities. when they ask how acquired such a nice car, he is like i'm a billionaire.
the funny part is even his lawyer didn't believe him, and wanted to send him in for a mental health evaluation. if that was elicit money, why would he have shown his bank account ? the fact that he is a or was a brick layer means nothing, i know plenty of independently wealthy people that work normal jobs. it becomes work for the sake of working and not really because you need the money. to some people doing nothing gets boring and they would rather work, to otherwise feel normal.
although lets be honest you don't need to have money to do nothing. when it comes to billions of dollars worth of property, i know people who will drive shity beat up cars and collect rent money just so you think they don't have money. most people have misconceptions about people with money. in the case of brick laying and development throwing cement onto a 100k dollar work vehicle is nothing that's what the vehicle is meant for, however to the home depot employee your asking to such a thing they think twice because the car is so expensive. my grandfather died in a seventy million dollar home, and most people would think i drive a nice car when in fact i don't drive a car at all.
its these misguided perceptions about wealth that i think this guy is just using to play with authorities. sure brick laying doesn't add up to billions of dollars ? well it kind of does if your donald trump, but normally for a vocational trade worker it doesn't. that's why i think he is just playing with the authorities. maybe im wrong ice is so expensive in au that having a billion dollar ice empire could be possible for a brick layer ?
[3 Points] DNM-Accountant:
Probably not really DNM related.
But he was an idiot nonetheless.
[3 Points] MT_Merchant_Mangler:

[3 Points] mercilesssgirth:
If he were in the USA, the government would have seized everything he owns.
[3 Points] ALexusOhHaiNyan:
So much WTF.
I can't get my head around half a BIL, in a years time. Hell half a MIL and I could live off that. It's just staggering. Furthermore - some drugs in the car led to his bank account being searched? Must've been a helluva lot of kit in the back.
But also. How in the fuck do you stick around with that much dough.
[3 Points] schemyjew:
Aww white bricks, light tan bricks.
[3 Points] BBMC_9000:
Easily explained. Simply won a few bucks on the nags Saturday arvo, hung around and parlayed that into the red hots and then moved onto the pokies once the tab shut. Happens all the time.

These stories are the modern equivalent of the bullshitter at school coming in on a Monday morning and telling you his Dad bought a Ferrari on Saturday and totaled it on Sunday but it's cool because he's getting a massive compo claim. Where's the fucking proof?
[1 Points] AndThenHeSays4:
Whoaaaaa
[1 Points] noonehear:
All of the money appeared in 12 months! Maybe he got lucky on some shady property deals or something? Maybe he got a nice inheritance. Saying he is 'not at liberty to say' is the same as keeping his mouth shut.
[1 Points] drugfreekid:
I take it when he said he was a brick layer, he didn't mean clay...
[1 Points] deceptivelyelevated:
this post is shit, its fucking rich douche who was shooting meth in the taint of whores on yachts.. hes not gonna do a day
[1 Points] DarkKnight_1111:

[1 Points] youaintsheet:
Damn, I been laying the wrong kind of bricks.
[1 Points] youaintsheet:
At least he doesn't have to lay bricks anymore. I'd be pissed off I had half a billion in the bank and manual laborer was my best cover.
[1 Points] _swuaksa8242211:
the motto of the story? 1 Crime pays in Australia. 2 there are two levels of law. One for poor people and one for rich people with expensive lawyers. 3 if you are a billion dollar drug dealer or money launderer, don't drive a flashy car and don't carry drugs.
[1 Points] None:
How the fuck? What? Is this true? Neeeeed mooore.
[1 Points] Vendor_BBMC:
He didn't make that money on the darknet. The drugs are a red herring because only a billionaire can afford to buy them in Australia.
Maybe he was actually a plasterer. Bish bosh shimmy shimmy wallop!

[0 Points] dnmyesterday:
1.25 billion? Has to be Verto from Evolution!
That's insane that he managed to have 590 mill in his personal account, and no one noticed until he got pulled over and found to be in possession of drugs, not to mnetion a property portfolio of 1.2 billion, WTF?
