A few noob questions for getting started with Darknet Markets

Hi, ive read through most of the FAQs but i still have some little questions leftover and i would appreciate if someone could help me.

1) Do i need hamachi for a VPN? I've bought a VPN account for 10 bucks/month, dont know what hamachi is needed for, allthough i read about it in a FAQ here in reddit

2) What is FE? Ive heard to never FE, but i dont know what it means

3) How do i get a good vendor now once silkroad was hacked and is unsafe? Im searching especially for a trustfull weed or hash vendor in Germany.

4) Are these steps right to buy with minimizing risks? - read vendor feedback - use VPN - use tor browser bundle - encrypt harddrive - use PGP for private datas (Did i miss something important?)

5) I was advised to disable browser plugins. Well, i have installed are browser plugins on my normal firefox browser. When i do connect to tor the tor browser (firefox as well) opens automatically. Does that mean that the plugins are in that tor browser too? If yes, how to disable them?

6) Do i need to use a "bridge" to make my anonymity more.. anonym?

Thanks <3!

  1. I like Private Internet Access for a VPN
  2. Finalize Early, you give them the money before they ship, but you will find that a lot of vendors are requiring FE at the moment with a lot of them taking huge hits from SR1/2 and Sheep.
  3. Use a new marketplace perhaps.
  4. Nope, just make sure you use your real name and address when asked where to ship.
  5. Shouldnt be.
  6. No need. Tor and VPN will do that for you.

  1. Finalize early. You send the funds to the sellers account before you receive the package.
  2. Just sign up, browse and research. :)
  3. No. Tor Firefox operates separately from your personal Firefox.
  4. Bridges are mainly for when access to Tor exit nodes is stopped by your countries filtered internet. Most people in the USA (and other mostly free countries) shouldn't have to use bridges.

My weakest link is in the area of technology, but I can answer a few of your questions.

  1. It means to "finalize early". This is the practice of releasing your Bitcoins from escrow before you have physically received the product. It is generally frowned upon, but it is understandable in some cases for some people.

  2. Look on the markets! =) links are in the sidebar. Agora, Pandora, and Bluesky seem to be the market leaders at the moment and should have the largest amount of vendors.
