Deposited coins into agora wallet, 80+confirmations, coins not removed, yet wallet balance is 0

SWIM had 3.40 usd in his account yesterday night when he made the transfer of about 200 USD to his account This morning, he sees that the transaction has been processed, and when he checked the account on blockchain explorer, the last transaction was the depositting one, and it was confirmed 80+ times. No one had withdrawn the coins - his account doesn't seem to be compromised - the coins are indeed just sitting in the wallet address that Agora said to send it to. The wallet is an old one that has been used several times to deposit coins to agora as well.

But, now his account balance reads 0$ USD - the 3.40 USD that was there yesterday seems to have vanished too along with the newly depositted funds (just on agora - the wallet has these funds still according to blockchain.org)

He opened up a support ticket with Agora about this. Has anyone every had something like this happen? And how long does Agora support usually take to respond to tickets like this?

stuff like that happens every once in a while. if they happened to be working on their server or their bitcoin client at the time you made your deposit, it's possible the daemon happened to be offline right at that moment and just didn't pick up your deposit. that's happened to me before on a couple different clearnet sites. if that is indeed the case, it's easy to fix. the admins just have to go into the server and manually push your deposit through to your account. the agora admins are fairly busy, so it could take a couple days for them to get back to you. just be patient, but not so passive about it that they forget you needed help. if they don't get back to you, keep calmly reminding them of your situation until something happens.

That's not a wallet on agora. its a deposit address, which then gives you a bitcoin credit to use on the site.

Your bitcoin may move without you doing anything, or may stand still when you spend them.

make sure the deposit address is still yours on agora. Speak to their admin if you need to. their tumbler may ave jammed as you deposited, not spotting your deposit or crediting it to your account balance. Agora admin will be able to see it and just credit you, I imagine.

SWIM: "Someone... Well... I, Myself had $3.40 in my account..."

As OP can see, you'll get a lot of flak for using that here. heh.
