Why do people give good ratings to shitty vendors?

I've gone through a few vendors now with lots of positive feedback along the lines of "best bth," "stuff is fire," "my new go to vendor," "high quality great product" only to order from them and receive some weak product that barely gives me a buzz.

What's the deal? Has anyone else had this experience?

I suspect that the risk of being doxxed by some scumbag vendor who knows your address might be a factor? Certainly had an impact on me - I only ever post positive reviews - don't need the drama of a SWAT visit thanks.

Some people are happy to receive anything at all, others have no better sources or no sources to score from at all. And if the vendor offers a good all around service despite of delivering shitty quality (10/10 customer support, stealth, delivery....etc), you might want to hold him as a wild card for future rush orders. Not that it helps the community.....

Don't forget about the guys that make fake accounts and buy from themselves to leave positive feedback. All it costs them is the transaction fees
