Did Grams/Helix create the fake Helix site?

No proof, not even an accusation. But damn, that clone site is a DAMN good clone. It's fucking identical and it's stolen money from a lot of people (including me).

Has it crossed anyone else's mind that it would be super easy for Grams to just put up the money-sucking clone since they already have access to the real site files?

Where did the link for the clone site come from? I've just used the same helix lite link from almost a year ago that I have copied down.

Check this out:

(If on tails) press option while in the Tor Browser

Click on "tools" in the top menu bar

Go down to "Web Developer"

click on "Inspector"

BAM, all the code for reddit is at the bottom of the screen.

Bonus points, right click on any web page and click "Save Page as..." and you can save the entire page, image, text, web code, and all.

Any web devolper body with a little coding knowledge could download the grams site and rehost it under and new .o n i o n address. After this all they have to do is change the php login form from trying to access a database of usernames and passwords to just email the username and password the person just entered to a desired email address and have the page reload with a blank login page / the real grams login page if they want to be fancy and make the user think they screwed up entering the creditals.

It's really not that hard, i have set up a php form before and i have close to no web experience. I'm sure it's a little harder on the deep web.

not sure which clone you are talking about since there is about 4 out there. Mostly likely they are proxing the site. Using the onion cloning software that has been out for about 6 months. Deepdotweb did an article about it a while back. They do it for a lot of onions sites. https://www deepdotweb com/2015/04/22/reminder-onion-cloner-phishing-scams/
