How unsafe is it to use Tails 1.5 instead of 1.5.1?

So, I am having trouble installing TAILS .iso 1.5.1 on to a disc (which is what I always use, never USB). I've tried three times now and neither have worked successfully, I am not sure why.

Well, how unsafe would it be to continue using 1.5 for a little bit? I'm going to be placing a new order soon, so it will most likely be on 1.5 (if it is still safe, of course).

Thank you everyone!

As unsafe as using an expired condom. You might be fine, but it might rip and now you have aids, or was it raids? Either way, I would just wait until i could update before doing anything shady. Personally I wouldn't even post here without updating TAILS first, but I'm paranoid like that. Whats wrong with using a usb?

Rule #1 :

Always use the most updated version. Never take such a risk buddy cuz it's not worth it at all. Many parties are interested in exploiting an outdated version of Tails or whatever app,OS and the list goes on.

If you use the wrong version the only listings visible are from Montfort.

Sometimes running outdated s oftware will cause your computer to explode in a fireball that will obliterate a square block. Even if you survive, the litigation is a nightmare.

TL;DR It's best to update.

"Burn your house down and move to Belize" type unsafe

How are you burning the disc ? What speed ? Make sure you rip it slowest possible speed, also check your laser on your DVD drive. Get some cotton ball and aftershave or alcohol clean up the laser reader/writer then rip TAILS it will work Good Luck!

Read the fixes/updates list for the releases. Will help you understand what and how you might be at risk. The 1.5.1 update was due to a firefox security vulnerability. You would probably be fine unless you're visiting some crazy shady clearnet sites, or you're being very targeted.
