So about a two months ago a close acquaintance of mine (who's actual realation to me will be redacted for opsec purposes) received a phone call from the LOCAL PD saying they got a tip that I was involved in drug dealing, they asked this person if they knew anything about this. This person, who obviously likes me, said they knew nothing of it. The end.
This tip was (presumably) completely non-DNM related, probably from some fuck boy who got caught up and started tossing names out there to try to save his own ass.
Nothing ever came of this, but now I must ask, is my mail being watched?
If I order to someone in my same residence, but not under my name (with their permission of course) am I most likely safe?
I would presume with it being a city police department they have zero say in mail tracking anyways, especially with it (most likely) being a tip completely unrelated with the DNM.
I have also heard that theres a chance that having your "address burned" isn't even a real or verified thing; there's a chance people just presume it to err on the side of caution.
Just wanted to open a general discussion on the topic :)
