Non-paranoia related Controlled Delivery question for the right person...

Those trackers that monitor the location of a package and whether or not it has been opened... You know, the ones THEY use, in theory couldn't a standard RF bug detector pick that up? If so then all CDs should be truly avoidable.

I know it sounds mad simple, but if anyone who really knows their technical shit could weigh in I would appreciate it.

I just open all packages in my faraday cage. Problem solved.

[9 Points] DixieFlatline13:

The metal cage in your household microwave is too fine for microwaves to escape, and RF waves are even bigger than that. So in theory you guys could start opening your packs in an old microwave.

But say you do open a pack and find an RF transmitter? Then what? The cops are quite literally waiting outside. Even though you dodged the warrant condition for a few hours they're not just going to give up, they'll come knocking on the door.

Sure you tell them to fuck off and talk to your lawyer, but LE will want that package back and that's not going to over to well since it's been obviously tampered with.

Your best bet is to simply take a sharpie and in big red letters write "RETURN TO SENDER" on the package. Then just let it sit in plain view from the doorway for 48 hours. Then when LE gives up and knocks on the door. "I'm sorry officer, I don't know what you're talking about, I wasn't expecting any package. I was going to return it, just havn't made it to the post office." At which point you hand the package back to them and inform them you are a very busy man so they can direct any further questions to your lawyer.

If you are receiving a controller delivery you are fucked. All you can do is have a clean place/car and deny deny. That's all you can really do. I know it's cool to think you're james bond or something but be realistic.

That's the problem, they don't emit RF u till opened so an RF detector won't pick up anything unless it's opened, then it's to late. You would need a jammer or x ray to see it there's one inside first.

[2 Points] overlord710:

Buddies dad got popped that exact way a while ago around Chicago - had some pot sent from cali and they opened it, replaced the pot with fake shit and put a sensor in the box

Second he opened it, boom door kicked in

Not a commonly used method by any means

Vendors should use them on their packs if anything

[1 Points] Throughawayup:

Even if this were true I highly doubt they use those in every CD.

Doesn't it operate on whether it senses light?

Open all packages in pitch black darkness.

Problem solved, lol.

=)

Get a household x-ray scanner and that should aid in your battle against CDs

[1 Points] Realitybytes_:

So...

You know 100% it's bugged.

It's addressed to you, you signed for it.

What are you going to do? Return it?

Have you ever, ever in your life returned a parcel addressed to you because you didn't know what is it?

Lets say you used a fake name, you 100% sure it's bugged, then MAYBE you aren't being the little spoon tonight, but you are going to have rights violated you didn't know you had.

[1 Points] DaDankWank:

Here is my proposed method for receiving shit safely: 1) Use drop houses, the more the better. Only receive one package to each address at a time to minimize risk of seizures. I pay people a small fee to receive things to their clean houses for me. I explain to them the risks, their rights, and contingency plans. 2) Have each drop house recipient write "Return to sender" on each package as soon as they receive it. Then they leave it within plain sight of the entrance to their home, so in case a warrant is served the unopened package is right there. 3) Within the first 12 hours of receiving the package they put on a hoody, sun glasses, and get a backpack which they fill with their favorite legal personal items, they then go for a walk around the neighborhood trying to look as suspicious as possible to attempt to flush out a response from LE. This would theoretically only work if the package doesn't have an active RF transmitter, because in that case the LE would see that the frequency is not changing location. 4)Where i'm from a warrant is valid for 13 days. After 15 days have passed I go to them with a new bag and a small package addressed to me, from a made up business here in the USA. If i can i'll reuse an amazon box. They get the local police department's number typed into their phone, ready to call. Then they open the package and search for an RF transmitter. If one is found they call the police and report that they've found a strange material in an equally strange and unexpected package and i chill there acting innocent. If no RF transmitter is found i repackage the product in my own bag and my own shipping container, pay them, and be on my way.

Poke holes in this pl0x. Assume the drop house won't rat on themselves (which means they wont rat on me). Assume the drop house is clean.

I haven't read any first-person accounts of seeing trackers in their packs. I'm almost leading myself to believe that it's a fallacy, and most CDs start & end with swat teams knocking down your door as soon as you even acknowledge that the pack exists.
