Do they still sell poppy pods on the clearnet?

So I enjoy some poppy seed tea from time to time, its good for what ailes ya but just not quite as strong as I'd like.

But I've only ever had seed tea, never from pods. Been looking around a while clearnet and can't really seem to find anyone selling pods for "floral arrangements".

Is it still semi legal to sell pods? Is this something I'm not going to find on clearnet and maybe need to look to the markets for? I mean I have a seed guy so if seeds are still " legal" then I would think pods would be too.

Obviously I can't ask you for a source but you know, if you forced your opinion on me......

It'd be super dooper if someone could just confirm they still sell em clearnet and that you know of one that even takes btc.

The major clearnet poppy sellers went down when a massive farm in Arizona was busted in 2009ish. That farm was supplying pretty much every clearnet pod vendor and when they went under pod prices went from .30-.40 cents per pod to absurdly gouged prices ranging from up to like $8 each.

Poppy pods are now mostly grown in Washington state and sold by the growers or a single reseller, and from what I understand the quality/price makes it totally not worth it except for a one-off.

Fun fact, poppy pods have never been legal, there's just a lot of confusion. It is illegal to possess any part of the poppy plant (somniferum, anyway) except the seeds. Period. Anything but the seeds is considered poppy straw and it is controlled whether it has been prepped for extraction or not. It gets confusing because so many people don't know the connection between poppies and opium and they haven't ever been popular enough by themselves to warrant police attention, meaning that most cops wouldn't even be sure what to do with them either.

You usually would not have any problems buying or selling poppy pods, but if you plan on it you really need to be aware that it is still possible to get absolutely fucked legally for them. When they weigh the poppy pods, they do not differentiate between plant material and opium, meaning a one pound box of poppies is the same in the eyes of the law as a pound of straight opium. Some poor kid in Massachusetts a few years ago who got arrested because his 1KG box of pods was seized and he was charged with importing a kilo of "raw opium" with other added bullshit because he lived across from a school.

You can buy seeds legally, and plant them legally as long you're 'only using them for garden flowers' read: not extracting opium, that's a major felony. I hear they're dead simple to grow, just sprinkle some on the ground and the plant themselves.

Look at your state laws, it could be different there
