I have an electrum wallet and want to have the servers going through Tor but can't figure it out. I have a mac if that makes any difference. Any help would be appreciated.

Why use it through TOR?
Bitcoins don't live in a wallet. They don't exist, but if they did, they would never leave the blockchain.
Does electrum have a local copy of the blockcain? That's a lot of data to squeeze unnecessarily through TOR.
I recommend the multibit client for PC, but not your TOR PC because it requires java.
Even better, get a proper android phone with bitcoin wallet apps. Anyone buying drugs shouldn't be using iphones. They still force you to use web wallets, not to mention the built-in NSA back door, and having to register a debit card to download free apps.

You can connect to this electrum node: 4rwpmjwjfocguylj.onion
Gotta have set like this SOCKS4 > local host > 9050. Close it and reopen and it'll sync
