[PSA/Article] We need to make "New to DNMS? Please check out the noob subreddit first" larger and bolder text.

Maybe this should be discussion? Yeah that sounds better xD

So many times noobs come here asking the same stupid questions. Pretty annoying day in and day out for those who come here for helpful information. When they do, I always just link them to r/dnmsnoobs. Then I actually tried looking for it.

I noticed the sidebar and even I couldn't find the link for r/dnmsnoobs. It's in red text w/ grey background and if you just glance at it it's very easy to pass. If you look at the "marketplace list" link, it's very easy to read and clear what it says. Please make the other one the same. :(

THIS. I was lurking on DNMs for 2 months trying to understand the ins and outs of it. Of course it all seems farily straight forward to us vets, but DNM Noobs makes it very simple. I learned more in a day on there than I had in 2 months.

Put it where currently that "Check out /r/DNMcirclejerk" is.

Maybe all in bold and somehow a grey-ish background so it stands out more.

I often have said this exact title as a joke here. This amuses me. How much bolder or redder or bigger should it really be?

[1 Points] Darknetusername:

Its pretty obvious now, but if someone didn't notice it I doubt making it larger would really help. The only way to stop the stupid questions is more mods (not that i'm saying the current mods are bad) to watch the new section and point them over to the correct subreddit.

I agree with this.

I've got a great suggestion.

When noobs come around with their predictably stupid-as-fuck questions, let's just give them blatantly useless answers. Maybe after getting enough stupid answers to their stupid questions, they'll be forced to do their own research. Worst case scenario is that they listen to the initial wrong answers and eventually get busted.

This will keep idiotic questions to a minimum while keeping LE busy with low-hanging fruit. Everybody wins.
