Having trouble with electrum and tails

I cannot figure out how to get electrum running on tails. I follow the online instructions and when I type "electrum" to run it, it says "command not found." What am I doing wrong? Everyone says how easy this is and I can't even install the god damn wallet on my computer.

I'm not using tails, and I don't use electrum buuut, try doing this:

   sudo find / -name "*electrum*"

It will show up all files named electrum or alike; if it is installed, you should have some files or folders with that named like that...if not try with similar names, and if you are still not able to find it it will mean you have not installed it.

Try this: http://www.reddit.com/r/tails/comments/21el4w/best_btc_wallet_for_tails_and_setup_guide/ first.

I just go into the "Persistent>Electrum-1.9.8" folder and click on the icon named just "electrum" to start the program. It has worked really well for me so far.

Follow tails documentation on setup. Can be found on their page https://tails.boum.org just search for electrum or bitcoin.

Download the .tar or .zip file from the website. Unpack it to the desktop, open the folder, and select and run the file labeled Electrum. Then setup the connection settings...
