2 factor authentication error

I am receiving an error message when trying to decrypt my alphabay 2 factor authentication message. The Tails PGP feature is giving an error saying that it has the incorrect secret key when i type in my password to decrypt. The problem is that I have logged into this account before with 2fa, so I know the keys are correct. I've already tried deleting and reimporting both my secret and public keys, but the error still happens. Does anyone know how to fix this? I had just sent btc to the account so I don't really want to lose them.

Open a terminal and type: gpg --list-secret-keys. I'll bet that what you see will be a bummer, because the secret key you need will not be there.

You need to find a copy of your secret key (hopefully on one of your backups) and re-import it. Exporting and importing secret keys is pretty tricky, gpg doesn't like to do it (with good reason), and the standard "import" and "export" commands only operate on public keys. I suspect that you failed to actually back up the secret key you need at some point.
