The SR2 admins really do not comprehend the most important lesson of being criminals:

Never rat on your friends, and always keep your mouth shut

The other market admins might be quiet, sometimes slow (looking at you Agora), but most of them know to shut. the. fuck. up.

We already know you're making a statement for a free underground market just by creating the fucking market itself. No one buys into this stupid grandiose, verbose bullshit anymore.

Their answers sound like the Agora admins, if they talked more often, with less lists... Just saying ;)

Why does it seem like this new khufu guy doesnt have the best grasp on the english language?

Hello.

Silk Road Administrators do not appear to public often. It is time to open for questions for a brief time.

It is a crucial time for us on the administration team. After hack, after DDoS, after sudden staff changes, we have much to do this year. We will be more in contact with you from now forward.

Large changes are in store for this community. This year will be remembered. Your loyalty is enabling a historic repayment.

Post questions here. We will answer for two hours beginning in one hour from now.

And, hello.

At the very least, its a really deliberate attempt to change up from defcons writing style.

I didn't see any new info in the Q&A's. What people want are answers along the lines of, "We hope to re-introduce escrow within three months", and "We plan on implementing a new improved feedback system in August". (The actual dates are less important than conveying the message that there really is a schedule to reintroduce these features.)

Instead it was run-of-the-mill hype designed to reassure the punters, typical of the business-speak blurb put out by marketing departments who have no idea of what's actually happening. I doubt it's anything to do with Defcon, who's most likely far too busy countering DoS attacks to waste time putting out such platitudinous drivel. Ok, that's a bit harsh. But i want information, not vague reassurances that all's for the best in the best of all possible worlds.
