Using fake ID + Airbnb as a drop for large orders?

Ive never done an airbnb, is there some way you can secure one without the owner ever meeting you or leaving paper trails? I figure this would be safer than dead addresses since thats suspicious and could get package RTS, cant use occupied addresses since theyd swipe it, PO boxes under fake id is trading one crime for a bigger crime, deaddrops require dealer to be local. At least with an airbnb i could rig the place with some IP cameras to see if the package was hot in advance. Just throwing ideas out there chime in.

What's your plan if the package is delayed past your stay?

Does not seem like a bad idea. The only problem I could account for is that I don't believe the home owner would hand over the mailbox key (for apartments and housing communities) you could always just ask. If it's a standard home without a lock on the mailbox then the only other problem I can think of is making sure your pack gets there on time.

Airbnb renters are instructed to take measures against this. They don't give out mailbox keys or they divert mail elsewhere. Would not work.
