Im a regular of this sub, but made this throwaway to not link my normal account, with this one. I'd rather people not know I'm going to be vending (or possibly vending). While obviously I don't know everything about being a DNM vendor, I know enough to safely get started, and I have a solid head on my shoulders to work through and solve problems.
What I need help with is Hansa Market experience. I have used it as a buyer and enjoy it (along with a few other markets I'm on) but obviously have no way to tell how the vendors experience is. I chose Hansa as a beginning market, because while I do have enough money for startup costs, I'd like to maximize that budget as best as possible. Handing out larger vendor bonds, while doable, isn't something I'm immediately interested I when first starting out. I do like the price structure for becoming a new vendor on Hansa. Honestly, there are a lot of cool features but obviously it's smaller and there's some markets with features Hansa doesn't have.
I was hoping to set up shop on Hansa, give it a go, and maybe migrate my way to a larger market if all things go well. Before I commit to signing up a vendor account, I'd like some anecdotal experience of what it's like for those that have started on the lower levels of their program.
Things that I'm thinking about:
- Smaller market
- Enforced multi-sig that maybe customers don't want to get into
- Low limit on total order
Any low to medium vendors in this sub willing to share success or horror stories?
HANSA is great for small vendors, Oasis is just as great, so do both, then you can have multisig and if your customers cant be arsed with that, you have traditional escrow or multisig on Oasis, Good luck dude!
