Maximum sentence for *any amount* of most schedule IV substances is 5 years

Source: http://www.dea.gov/druginfo/ftp3.shtml

Alprazolam is one of the most popular drugs on DNMs. So, am I reading this right? If someone were to get nabbed with 10 kgs of alprazolam, they could legally only receive a maximum of 5 years and 250k fine (in the US)?

This goes against what the whole Canadian xanax thing people believe, that Quantik operates only out of Canada because it has a maximum of 3 year sentence.

This is assuming no other charges, which should be a reasonable assumption if OPSEC is tight.

It's not that simple. The charge for trafficking itself carries a max of 5 years, but that won't stop them from stacking the charges or throwing another charge on top, AKA intent, conspiracy, possession, etc.

They don't fuck around with drug traffickers and they will bury you as deep as they can.

XK got 5 years, so I assume this is right.

also, 3 with a third to do > 5 with 85% to do

This doesn't take into account additional possible charges if manufacturing, packaging, or shipping equipment is seized. It also doesn't take into account money laundering charges also which will always be a threat. If the DOJ really wants you or thinks you might get less than you deserve they will tack on additional charges to get a plea even if the additional charges are shaky. Depending on the scale of the operation they might also attempt to take seize your property which they can do much much easier than getting a criminal conviction.

For the first offense, yup. Quantik operates out of Canada (I assume) because the government isn't corrupt as fuck. The US will find a way to catch you, even if they have to do a bunch of illegal shit to do it. Canada doesn't play dirty like that. u/Alpraking care to elaborate further?

You would need to be busted with only pills. Once you're caught with money and they connect the dots you'll get a laundry list of changes.... I've spent a lot of money and time talking to my lawyer. And having him tell me what I should and shouldn't be caught doing. That's why, when you leave the house to put work in on the street that house you live at should be clean as fuck. If you get popped (and we all eventually will) they're going straight to your house to try and rack up more changes. It pays to have a clever little nook somewhere to hide your stuff.
