Research done on counterfeit pharmaceuticals

I'd like to take a few minutes and talk about "counterfeits pharmaceuticals". I was watching the world news or 20/20 or something and this story came on. (I know mass media isn't our friend but this story was pretty interesting. It was telling of how people all over are sourcing drugs from other countries (China is a big one) and selling them for cheaper then pharmacies. All of these drugs had pharma packaging and looked 100% legit at a single glance. Most of the drugs they tested only had trace amounts of the compound it should if it even had it at all. Some could have been potentially toxic also. I decided I'd do some more research on the matter for harm reduction of the community. I was going to post on my normal account but I routinely delete my posts so I'm on a throwaway.

"A counterfeit drug may contain inappropriate quantities of active ingredients, or none, may be improperly processed within the body (e.g., absorption by the body), may contain ingredients that are not on the label (which may or may not be harmful), or may be supplied with inaccurate or fake packaging and labeling. " From Wikipedia.

"Yeah this is very concerning. Until very recently, fakes were somewhat obvious if you knew your shit. Google it and find some older articles about fake pharmas - there was always a dead giveaway. The print on the pill was wrong, the color was totally off, shit like that. More recently, the fakes are looking fucking real. Dead real. That Watson one was dead on." This was posted by one of the moderators.

If you want to read on the FDA database about counterfeit medicine go to this link: http://www.fda.gov/Drugs/ResourcesForYou/Consumers/BuyingUsingMedicineSafely/CounterfeitMedicine/

The DEA, FBI and many other 3 letter pig factories are trying to stop these fake drugs from getting to consumers, I guess that's one thing they're doing correctly.

One thing you as a buyer should do (if buying pharma off a DNM) is check the vendor reviews and send the vendor some messages about the drugs.

One thing is for sure that most if not all Xanax and Viagra are fake, some will have the correct ingredients some may not, some are very similar to real ones, some are not. This is where the vendor reviews come in.

If buying packaged pharmaceuticals always check the packaging with a fine tooth comb, see for anything that may be wrong about it and maybe compare it to pictures online.

So I want you guys to scrutinize and perception meds you buy off the dark net, I want you all to have a happy healthy life filled with some wonderful drugs :)

Thank you for reading, if you want more info please do some more research and post it here!

My viagra is legit, its from my own script off a doctor, so saying its all fake is wrong. However, after listing it for weeks i did not sell a single pack, i could not do the same prices as the counterfeit stuff, no way, nor could i get it in massive quantities like the counterfeit sellers can, i only get 1 tablet a day prescribed. My own genuine, 100% pharma viagra generics, costs more than the counterfeits of branded cialis and phizer stuff. People get what they pay for i guess, i just know theres no way i can sell mine at counterfeit prices i would be running at a major loss if i did.

[1 Points] DrQuarters_:

I would like to take this time to state that every pill in the DrQuarters store is picked up via prescription from a USA pharmacy by someone the Dr. has known personally for at minimum, five years. More often than not, it is 10 years+.

There are literally millions of fake Valium here

10mg Activas - completely legitimate boxes. Individual barcodes. Braile. Instructions inside.

But there's no way they contain 10mg diazepam in them - I would estimate less than half that. Probably 2-3mg.

The easiest way to tell if they're fake? You get offered 36 boxes for 250 quid - that's a good sign.
