Missing item and incorrect quantity- dispute?

Hello everyone, recently ordered from a vendor I've ordered from a few times, received today but one of the items is missing and the quantity of the second item is lower than it should be, it finalises in 6 days, not sure whether to trust the vendor for a reship as looking at the reviews no one who was meant to receive a reship in the past has, shall I dispute?

First message the vendor and see what can be done before resorting to disputing it. If he refuses to help you or does little to nothing then dispute it. Be cooperative and nice, no one wants to work with a little complaining whiner.

Message vendor, see what resolution you guys can come to. Do not let the order finalize until you get a sufficient resolution to the problem.

Thanks lads, going to do that

Be polite. Message vendor. Inform vendor of problem. Dispute order until problem is fixed.

[1 Points] DecryptedTruth:

If you don't reach to an agreement in 1-2 days max, in which the vendor will accept a negative review that you will change if he delivers, then dispute asap. This is how you weed out selective scammers.

No/bad/lower quantity product - no FE - negative review. Never settle for less than what you paid for.
