Lesson learned: NEVER finalize early

I spent the summer selling weed I got from DNM's. I literally built up my business from scratch, starting with a $100 loan from a relative, and slowly flipping my way up to be able to purchase a HP.

My guy on Middle Earth ran out, so I went to agora to look for a deal to buy my first HP. I saw a user named Redbird offering one for $1100. The guy had around 300 transactions completed and had all solid reviews. However, he asked for FE because he claimed it was a small operation and they couldn't afford to go without thousands in the weeks it takes to finalize.

Of course, it was an exit scam. The guy logged on yesterday and claimed "most packages were seized" and went on vacation mode.

This was my first time finalizing early, and the last. All the work I put in this summer has been wasted and I have to start building again from scratch.

Never finalize early, guys. Shitty people exist.

Dumb af for blowing that cash on someone you hadn't even don't a single deal with before

[44 Points] entactoBob:

Yes, FE-ing is almost always a bad idea, but there are a few trustworthy vendors. If you FE, certainly don't do so for large sums of BTC, and be ok with the possibility of losing that money.

Final note: this is super important – when your order arrives, FINALIZE AND RELEASE ESCROW. You're a raging, selfish jackass if you don't. If everyone did this immediately upon receiving their order, far fewer vendors would request FE.

[12 Points] XCqz6yLcMw7CPmVP:

Bad choice... unlucky. in all honesty i'd never buy a HP off someone who has less feedback than the number of dollars i'm handing over.

And the FE only comes out for trusted / tested vendors... or if they have a completely perfect score and several hundred feedbacks.

This is where I post this: http://teespring.com/5-5-fe-will-update

But on a more serious note, really sorry for your loss, OP. These things suck, and like you said, incredibly shitty people exist.

I couldn't agree more; FE is the mother of all fuckups. Just when you think you can trust a vendor, you've done business with them multiple times, and they give extra for FE ... they WILL (not maybe, they 100% motherfucking will) take the money and run. It's not a matter of IF you'll get burned by someone on the DNM's, it's WHEN; be it stealing your FE, selling bunk product, selling shorted product, or just plain fucking around. The only real solution is to stop spending when you get ripped off; refocus on the 'game' that really matters, which is your life. This drug 'game' shit comes and goes - at this point you've broken even on the DNM's, right? Or lost $100 basically? That is how you have to look at it IMO ... the markets made you money, a bad decision broke you back to even, and you move on with life. Honestly, I think I may still be up a few dollars on the market, but I'm done playing the game and the market can go fuck itself for now.

[9 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

No. That's not the lesson you should learn from this at all.

think about it some more.

[7 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

FE, by all means.

Don't FE if you have poor darknet judgement

[7 Points] None:

Damn 1100$ for an HP printer? The streets are getting rough these days

[4 Points] HofmannsHeir:

I feel like the sidebar should read like "New to the DNMs? Click me & remember don't FE!" It sucks to see these things happen, but they most certainly do.

[5 Points] None:

It took you all summer to earn 1100 from drug dealing? You must be the worst drug dealer ever.

[4 Points] None:

Don't put more money in an order than you can afford to lose* Marketplaces exit scam, get seized etc. Packages do get intercepted. Selective scams exist. Sorry for your loss OP, but you learned the wrong lesson, hope you can recover.

[3 Points] J0NJ0NES:

I don't think FE has anything to do with what happened to you. That was just a bad move on your part. Who does an FE with a significant (to themselves) amount of BTC? Not really rational.

On the other hand, I'm sure there are plenty of buyers who trust vendors who they've already made plenty of purchases from, and they don't personally have a problem FEing in those situations.

Again, you FEed with your entire bankroll. That's on you. It's like catching the flu on a bus, then saying that no one should ever ride public transportation again. Take responsibility for your own actions in risking your entire bankroll in one transaction. Much like the flu virus, there will always be scammers.

This has Trailer Park Boys written all over it.

[2 Points] Underthearchway:

This sub. How many fucking posts saying don't finalise early. Idiots still do it. Give up all hope.

[2 Points] cardboard_cowboy444:

One thing I haven't seen anyone say CLEAN YOU HOUSE!!! If it isn't a BS exit scam CLEAN THE HOUSE just in case. Red bird has been around a couple months and i am not sure they were just waiting on an $1100 order to dip out. really not that much money. to be on the safe side CLEAN YOU HOUSE, LOSE YOU COMPUTER!!

[1 Points] andblowyourhousedown:

Never say never.

[1 Points] WonkyWarrior:

Just made this mistake, despite the majority of my orders being F.E and having no problems at all.. I think I may have just thrown some money down the drain.

[1 Points] Streamersdoomday:

I did 10k $ from 1.5k $ single purchase

[1 Points] Duderino420:

That really sucks man you have to start all over again but I've done it before and so have many other people who are involved in our type of business. Take this experience as a learning experience and keep on keeping on.

[1 Points] shitbrik:

Ya, no

It took you 3 months to get $1100 from selling drugs? Time to find a new profession.

[1 Points] fuckingannoyed12345:

Hi I just want to warn people before buying from 420TQC on Agora. I made FE order which was not even confirmed for a week. I messaged the vendor a several times that I received no reply. So I left a 0/0 feedback, then the vendor finally came through and said he will ship my order on the next day. A week later nothing is here so I contacted the vendor and he said if I change the feedback he will ship in 72 hours or give me a refund. So I requested a refund but yet I have not seen any activity on the wallet. Until it is sorted out, I advise everyone from staying away from this vendor. I'm seeing several other people are having similar problems.

[1 Points] Birdlover1233:

How fucking expensive is the weed where you are living if you can make a profit on the extremely high prices on DNM?

[1 Points] bitterbuyer88:

Fuck that guy so much!!!

I bought from him for a few weeks, figured out how long stuff took to get to me etc.

Planned out my fucking birthday with that in mind and even set it up to make sure I got it 3 days early. I don't give a shit about the money, it ruined my fucking birthday.

And the piece of shit just led me on telling me "oh it's at the post office, will be there tomorrow" and then even told me I should go in and ask for it cuz it was listed as undeliverable. Wasted my god damn time and hopes.

[1 Points] TakutaRopata:

Always FE for trusted humans Never FE for known scammers

[1 Points] TakutaRopata:

Always Make sure your communication with the vendor is clear and concise.

Especially if they have a sOlid track record both in integrity and communication.

Vendors are under a lot of pressure remember.

[1 Points] None:

why would u fe? there are plenty of vendors with 1000+ deals who dont require fe on lb orders

[1 Points] HappySodomy:

All these people seem disappointed about how much he made in a summer, is it really that easy to flip product?

[-1 Points] None:

Cali-Connection is trustworthy.. other than that never FE!
