Who was that guy selling real GBP notes as fakes in order to promote his 'quality fakes'?

I remember about 6 months ago there was someone selling 'fake' GBP in test batches, so that everyone would come back and say 'wow, top quality fakes' etc.

But then something happened and either poor quality fakes shipped after that or is was all just a reputation/exit scam?

Can someone give me the links to relevant threads, I'd love to write up this episode for posterity.

That's a common trick for counterfeit vendors. Sell a few real bills to get a good reputation, get a little more business, send shitty fakes, make off with a quick buck

Also theres has never been an consistent fake GBP counterfeiter, they are gone before you know whats happened to your cash.

"cashandcoke" another vendor with very high quality fakes, came, left scammed.

CAME BACK, did the same again to a new set of customers, some people never learn.

I tried to warn people about him but there's lots of people here who are immune to logic and reason. Here was my thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarkets/comments/3avco0/how_its_going_to_go_down_with_gbpfakes_my/

How much did he net? Over £10,000 ? £50,000?

Why are you guessing such high numbers? His scam failed very quickly. I doubt he got much at all.
