Has anyone had this happen beforen or something similiar? -Vendor says they never require signature and all previous shipments from the same vendor didn't require a signature. -The domestic parcel didn't have the "Signature Required" box checked. -Postman wasn't wearing offical USPS clothing but had a USPS badge hanging from his lanyard and asked for a signature. -Regular USPS Postman delivers regular mail an hour later. -Hours had passed after opening parcel and goods were intact with no further visits nor has anything out of the ordinary occurred.
While it seemed suspicious I signed anyways because I sometimes get drunk/high and buy random shit off the internet and forget doing so until package arrives. This just so happens to be in my top 10 list of favourite pastimes.
EDIT: I forgot to mention this was priority express (nothing ticked in the 'deliver by time' section however) so after reading everyone's comments and the fact it's been opened well over 24 hours ago I think it's safe to say this is not abnormal and all is well. Thank you everyone for your feedback!
This happened to me in 1997. It was a a guy in a ups uniform but not ups vehicle, insisted I sign,I scribbled something on his pad. He came back 5 min.later saying I needed to sign again. Sender didn't even try to vacuum seal, pack got busted at ship. I told seller to double vacuum seal and overnight pack.plan was if pack didn't land,no accept. He did neither. LE had time to secure warrant and ship pack to LE locally who also had time to secure warrant. As soon as I opened the pack LE raided put guns to my head and tore the shit out the house. This a true story, I ended up serving a 2 year sentence and have been a felon almost 20 years now.
