The UI is really nice. Why don't more people use it ? We just setup a vendor account yesterday.

Why is Middle Earth not more popular.

The place looks like something my grandmother would have as her desktop background

I think it tends to turn off some of the non-LOTR fans. I love the layout, but can't stand the theme. Some of my favorite vendors are on there too, but I still prefer to use Abraxas.

I hate it because you can't fucking see the whole name of the listing without clicking on it.

Granted the interface is pretty intuitive but it still looks like garbage. I don't know how widespread the controversy really was but the whole issue with "we're not a coin tumbler" seems to have scared a few good vendors away from the market. If they wanted more customers and vendors, they'd cut the theme bullshit (or at least make it off by default).

probably because it looks like its from the 90s and a 85 year old senior citizen programmed it with help from his community html class

The admins are really cool and responsive, as well. I'm not sure why it hasn't caught on very strongly. Perhaps someone can elaborate.

i have used both but mainly use abraxas or dhl. most of the vendors i deal with are on abraxas so i use it more. i like the abraxas layout more and it has a more wholistic view.
just druggedupniggas two cents right there

I hate the layout and theme so I avoid it.

ME is great, but Abraxas stole my heart.
I find just about everything in ME to be very well done. It's comprehensive, smooth, and feels secure. What kind of chapped my ass was paying shipping for every seperate item ordered from the same vendor. I might have overlooked something, but a simple "add additional" item selection was not present when choosing the products.
Abraxas is better than Agora IMHO (as far as infrastructure and features, not vendor selection).

Two words for you man. Java Script.
As for the design, theme and so on, people either love it or they hate it, it seems. But yeah, java script.
