AlphaBay stole my withdrawal?

Hey guys so I am very upset right now.

Around 5PM EST I withdrew about $40 in coin to my localbitcoin wallet.

I figured it would take awhile so I checked it about 20 minutes ago. No funds.....

So I log into my account and double check that I actually sent the money and guess what? The money was sent to a wallet not owned by me....

I always make sure to triple check my wallet address so I know for a fact it was switched out.

What gives? Anyone else have troubles like this? Can I get my coin back!?

Don't mean to sound like a dick, but i've seen 100 alphabay reports of stolen btc, so why use the site? sounds like 40 was a substantial loss for you, i'm sure you've read multiple reports of missing btc, if i was you i'd take the loss ,charge it to the game, and move on because this site is fucking fishy, never will i ever use it

Localbitcoins isn't a wallet. Its a tumbler, so when you send bitcoin FROM it the bitcoin is sent from a different wallet address each time, none of which belong to you.

Did you send it to the frfesh deposit address which localbitcoins generates for you each time you deposit? If you just sent it back to the address alphabay received it from when you bought it, that's not your wallet.

I've known customers make this mistake. They contacted support and it was credited to their LBC account.

How do you know which bitcoin address the withdrawal actually went to? I assume that alphabay aren't so broke at xmas that they have to steal and sell $40 of btc.

Which reminds me. Bitcoin's price always crashes this week because we men like to leave Christmas shopping until 23rd December, to help motivate ourselves.
