[CommunityDiscussion]USPS First Class slow down

Hey guys hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and staying warm. I have been hearing various things about USPS first class mail being way slower than usual due to weather and them closing some processing facilities. Now I have no clue how it can really be THIS slow. I order a good majority 90-95% of my DNM purchases US domestic and they usually arrive pretty quickly, even using first class mail. Now it is either at a snails pace or I got scammed. For example February 9th-17th I placed 4 orders, all first class mail. Two of them arrived within four days and the other two have yet to arrive. The ones that have not arrived yet were shipped on 02/10 and 02/18. Anyone else experiencing these kinds of delays with their mail, DNM or non-DNM?

The Grand Wizard is getting hit with the postal slowdowns coming and going. Inventory is arriving at a snail's pace and orders are taking twice as long as usual to get to their destinations. We will be happy when spring finally arrives.

Some significant processing centers are being closed down. A few mail processors, assistants, and distribution center workers are being laid off across the nation as smaller hubs are being shutdown in favor of the larger distribution centers. This is occurring in the Midwest, and cities with centers <100k populations. The larger centers, and this segment of my comment is merely speculation that seems sensible, may be favored due to their efficiency, and newer machinery. I have articles for sources if need be. I know that the US Postal Inspection Service has more manpower in the larger cities.

Plus the weather across the US has been abysmal. That never helps.

Ive have major problems over the past month or so with USPS in general... from tracking errors , to 3X the normal delivery speeds for priority mail from big box retailers ,

Mainly items shipping from the Midwest or the "south" and seem to spend days in transit before making it to local sorting facilities

My occasional DNM order has arrived in its listed shipping time so i haven't had to deal with the stress of waiting

Yes, USPS is a pretty big mess at the moment; even Priority Mail is taking 5+ days.
