I would like to open a PO box for my own specific personal reasons but I have a few questions maybe someone with a tad of experience can help with.
Po boxes require 2 forms of identification. A photo and non photo ID usually. Here's what they list as acceptable non photo id.
Acceptable Non-Photo IDs:
Current lease, mortgage, or deed of trust
Voter or vehicle registration card
Home or vehicle insurance policy
So would a utility bill suffice? I would think it would but last thing I wanna do is be turned away at the counter.
Also of course it will vary but how close do they look at the photo ID? I don't care that they make a copy of it I just need it to hold up to the initial look over.
So who's got the best ID's on the markets lol.
Would it be preferable to use an "out of state" license as the clerk will likely not know or be used to what it should look like vs one from the state they live in?
Um. You answered your own question. None of the listed items are an utility bill.
