"Clean house"

To all of the people who give the advice "Clean house" I'm very curious if you yourselves follow this advice. Or are even able to follow this advice. My house is filled with illegal things, from roaches tucked away in random corners, lost pills in all the drawers, bowls and bongs galore (I used to have a medical marijuana card but I let it expire) powders and just all sorts of stuff I wouldn't want the police to find.

Most people I know also would not be able to "clean house" without a major effort, either they've got a few plants in the closet or keep personal stashes of drugs. Do you guys keep little enough of drugs around where it's possible to clean house by simply flushing some baggies down the toilet? Is that even a real thing?

Personally I don't order to my house; I use a PO box for personal orders and drop houses for bulk. Maybe that's why I don't worry about it as much, what are your guys' experiences with this sort of thing?

I keep ALL of my illegal things in a lock box. If shit goes south, said lock box can be grabbed and disposed of in about 2 minutes. 20 if I can get to the lake and make that bitch swim with the fishes.

All of my illegal items can be taken care of (either destroyed or otherwise moved off of the property) within 5 minutes.

If I had to clean house, I'd be fucked even if I got rid of all the actual drugs. I save all my dirty needles until I have enough to be worth to taking to the local pharmacies outdoor sharps drop box. I also have a habit of shooting up, and then just leaving the needle in some random place while I nod out. Needles get prosecuted as heroin possession if there is the slightest amount of heroin reside in the needle in my state all the time. Bubble bags probably don't look good, and even though I had to stop growing, I still have all of the gear set up in a tent with a carbon filter that now sits in my basement empty, but who knows if there may be a leaf somewhere I neglected to pick up. I think I've swept the house up of them, but it would probably be just one to be prosecuted with cultivation/manufacture. I think it would take me a week of cleaning to make sure I got every stray leaf, needle, and roach butt. So doable, but it would be a pain in the ass.

The only things I keep in my house that I wouldn't be able to clean/flush/hide are things I know how long or the amount of fine I'll pay and feel it's worth it.

I'm with you. I sways assume people tell you to clean house because that's what you're supposed to say but no one actually does it. The chances of being raided seem too small for me to worry about it. On the other hand I do keep a clean car.

Think of it in terms of trying to minimize the potential damage, because as you rightly say--it's hard to fully clean house. It's wise for those dabbling in anything illegal to have a plan laid out in advance for what-if situations should one arise.

All drugs I own are in two small boxes (one in the freezer for sensitive stuff) and can be disposed of quickly. Then again I am not a smoker so there's no paraphernalia involved.

I have all my shit in a backpack and I already have a drop location planned in case I need to clean house.
