Vendor Websites

I recently delt with GG on PushingTaboo and had a great experience, yet have noticed that these "direct deal websites" don't make it onto the superlist. I assume this is because they are not true marketplaces, but rather a storefront for an individual vendor.

So I started to wonder just how many vendors have decided to do this? I only know of Gamma, JoR, and (laughably) bud has opened one up recently... They make a lot of sense for organizations like JoR and Gamma who have been in the game for years and built reputations that allow people to trust them without the use of a market. And it makes sense for the buyers because the vendors are able to offer lower prices, and there is no chance of the market running an exit scam, only the vendor.

Hopefully this isnt too much of a "general sourcing" question... Sorry mods if it is!

Wait what's the question?

It's exactly that, only marketplaces go on the superlist not vendor stores.

Who the fuck is this "med" who opened up recently? Never heard of a vendor called "med" so I would suggest you stay away.

Hi! First of all sorry for my inglish ;)

I am currently selling only in my private store (listed in deepdotweb)

What led me to this decision? -The loss of a part of customers every time a market exit scam. (Most obviously find you, but I lost several good customers....some afortunately after weeks / months found again) -Another reason is dealing with scammers. I can not comment on other vendors, but I can assure you that a small percentage of customers claim non arrivals. I do not want to generate controversy, it is true that there are seizures and lost packages, but the percentage of claims is reduced by half with own store. The problem is that in the end many times you are forced to reship (no matter if I can win the dispute) to avoid getting a negative feedback. At least I have reached a point that is very difficult to know the truth. With own shop the customer has little room to blackmail for a reship.

Also the abusive fees in some markets, I not say names, but I could see how the money did not match me several times, few coins vanishing time to time....

I think if you are honest and offer quality products at a competitive price, there is no reason to be paying fees to someone that in X months will exit scamm with your and customers money.

And this are my reasons... :P

Thanks, ElHerbolario

There are a lot of them. Many don't sell on the markets at all.
