$65 BTC sent and $32 fee?

I just moved some BTC into my dream wallet, when it got there the $65 was $25. Last time I used Bitcoin the fees for that amount were $2 at the maximum normally a lot less.

Bitcoin is so fucked atm, don't use it until the transaction fees go down. I've been wanting to buy some more for awhile now but the transaction fees are just too high.

Monero is safer and cheaper (for now)

[9 Points] HeyItsMassacre:

The price of a Bitcoin skyrocketed, so small currency usages are obsolete now

Find a trustworthy vendor and do DD with them using Litecoin or Monero.

Sounds right. I did the whole shebang to be as anonymous as possible transferring from LTC TO BTC by the time I was done moving to electrum then to dream 90$ turned into 33$ :( I still cry bout it

SHUM (Should have used Monero)

[2 Points] Pillsbury1:

Just set electrum fees manually? Haven't used btc since the whole fee fiasco but i did that before back in the day.

Shouldn't that work now still?

blame the chinese miners who are spamming the mempool with trash transactions. They'll send .00000001 btc with .0000000001 miners fee and do this tens of thousands of times. The transaction won't get processed obviously, but it fills up the queue so real people have to pay higher fees to skip a head of the line in order to get their transaction through. It's creating an artificial bottleneck/traffic jam.

They're doing this not only to profit, but to try and pump their centralized shitcoin.

They're going to be out of luck and out of a lot of money once layer 2 (lightning network) gets here. It essentially bypasses much of their dirty tactics.
