When do YOU FE?

So I know a lot of you will probably say "NEVER FE, you are asking to get robbed!" Of course, I understand the risks and this totally makes sense for newbies and when dealing with unproven vendors. My question is more geared towards folks who have established relationships with vendors whom they trust.

Certainly someone could always turn and exit scam you or even selectively scam you and it's a risk. So I guess my second question is this: What is the benefit of FE'ing? I have heard that some vendors give freebies for the cash upfront, is there any other incentive?

Never.

I only require FE on certain things like .5g/1g of heroin, 3.5g+ on the coke just cuz when I have 5-10 of those listings pending, that's a good amount of money i can go run and grab more weight and not be out of stock. I get certain shit fronted to me too so it keeps my connects happy. I know some people are weary about it, but I know on my end you're gonna get your shit, a couple hundred dollars isn't worth my rep or the potential to make thousands upon thousands of dollars. I wish everyone followed this logic in the game.

When the vendor has the best black tar heroin for only 100/gram and requires FE. A lot of vendors don't trust the marketplace enough to want their funds in escrow while they're shipping product. Kyohkain shipped my order after i FE'd even though Agora was down. If i hadn't have FE'd, i'm sure he would have waited until Agora went back up to be sure. Most big vendors wanting an FE simply don't trust the marketplace.

Only if its absolutely required, and I need the product. Even if the vendor has been great to me in the past, I will never FE out of the kindness of my heart. The money is in escrow, I know he will get it when I get the product. The risk of him not getting the money because a website pulls an exit scam, or bitcoin gets slightly devalued, does not outweigh my risk of him potentially pulling a scam and me getting nothing.

Wrote an entire post over this issue, and while it's only my opinion and everyone is perfectly welcome to disagree, I still stand behind its logic.

I've done a few non-escrow deals, which is just as sketchy as FE. I did a few orders through escrow on a market, but they offered better pricing and faster shipping for direct orders. In this case, I had been ordering from this vendor for a long time and had built up a level of trust with them.

FE'ing only benefits the vendor, really. Many of them don't trust the market escrow systems to hold onto their coins while orders are in transit, and that's understandable. Others might need the funds to keep their cash flow moving, and can't afford to wait for the funds.

The ONLY benefit as a buyer would be discounts or freebies. Avoid it if at all possible.

When I started out, I would FE immediately on Agora if I saw the person had a lot of good feedback. What I've seemed to notice is it usually depends on the product said vendor is offering, though. I've FE'd with vendors that sell shit like DMT, LSD, and shrooms. These people seem to be pretty laid back about shit. I'm sure there are exceptions to the rules, but just speaking from experience.
