Running TAILS in a VM

Is this a bad idea? Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it at first glance but it's late and I could be missing something.

The main problem with it, is that it exposes you to any malware installed on the host system. If your host has a keylogger, it will log all of your Tails passwords as well.

One other problem is that if the Tails VM process gets swapped to disk, stuff that should have disappeared when you shut Tails down could be left laying around on your hard drive. You should use full system drive encryption with Truecrypt (if on Windows), if you decide to run it in a VM.

It does have it uses, though. You can even have it mount a Tails persistent encrypted partition on a physical USB drive.
