[TradeRoute] Exit scam -- money lost?

So I have some number of bitcoins sitting in escrow on TradeRoute. The vendor has been banned for scamming. The vendor setup multi sig, I did not, so the coins appear to be stuck in the wallet until they get signed by the vendor (never). Is my understanding correct that the coins are now permanently loss and that multisig has simply made me lose money where a standard market with a simple escrow account would have been able to refund it, or is there some way of getting them back?

i would hope there is a way to handle this, i personally have done 0 research on multi sig as i take my chances and try and research if possible/build "relationship" before spending progressively more money. If they cant help you seems like a retarded flaw that defeats the purpose? the vendor might not get the coin but no one does?

you may want to choose another title

2of2 multig yes, 2of3 no. (sorry, dont know the right terms for that)

cant tell about tr system, i use a 'mirror link' of TR since weeks and never tried the offical ones/multisig there.

maybe thats the next thing to test. but im actually dont see any advantage in multisig so far.

I have the same issue and contacted support, they said bc the vendor set up multi sig, the only way to get the funds back is for him to sign the release...problem is, the vendor has been MIA for a week now. He's got pages of awesome review, so I'm baffled as to whats going on with them... but basically I'm screwed unless he signs per TR admin support...UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

2 of 2 isn't on traderoute. Just contact support. Unless you set up multisig then the coins arnt held in escrow.
