[Vendor Complaint] MUSHBUD on [SR2]. Possible Scammer.

To all that commented on my post HERE where I asked for advice on dealing with a possible scammer, I thank you for the feedback. The following is to do with MUSHBUD on SR2

The following is a brief of the conversation for clarity and transparency. My conversations are not word for word as they are encrypted with MUSHBUD's public key and I didn't keep record, but they are as close as possible for this review.

I originally sent the message 22 April 2014 09:11 UTC stating that my order hasn't arrived, ans whether he was willing to offer refund or re-ship as this has been seen in his review comments prior. His response was THIS.

So I copied and pasted the required information on 28 April 2014 09:48 UTC. I happily received THIS IN RESPONSE.

I asked for a refund. He responded with THIS. 29 April 11:49 UTC I provide a return address for the refund, expecting that it would be processed relatively quickly.

Cue to 01 May 2014 11:08 UTC I send another message asking what the hold up is, stating I have seen him on line over the past few days and would like the funds to process other orders. Then I get the FIRST DIATRIBE. Followed shortly by THE FIRST EXTORTION ATTEMPT. Note the timestamps.

01 May 2014 12:05 UTC I respond that I had no intention of leaving negative feedback because of a possible siezure, and that he offered the refund, an that myself and others don't take kindly to extortion attempts. He responds with the BLEEDING HEART BS.

02 May 09:08 UTC I let him know (my last message saved before encryption)

What you also need to consider is that as a customer who has not received their product, there is no way I can prove that you sent it in the first place, a Catch 22 situation. I have received siezure letters before from customs, but with this purchase I didn't receive one at all, nothing.

I do know however that a large proportion of the population using the DarkNet relies on feedback before making purchases, such as myself did. I do not, nor do others respond well to demands and extortion.

As such I am now happy to assume there will be no refund coming, and thus I will be leaving appropriate feedback on SR2, SR2 Forums, Reddit and many other DarkNet review sites I now frequent.

If you had of said straight up there will be no refund, I would have walked away, but since you offered, then retracted the refund, took on a belligerent attitude and started to extort me than I can only assume this is simply a move out of your playbook, and I am one of countless others who you have used this play on. If my feedback can persuade just a single other potential client not to use your services then karmic balance will have been restored. For the cost of a case of beer, I believe this is truly worthwhile.

His final response is THUS

For someone with an apparent good reputation, I am not sure if he is having a bad day, or is using multiple shell accounts to allow himself to receive large amounts of positive feedback to lure people into scam, I just don't know.

So to all reading this, buyer beware.

This does seem unreasonable of him. What kinda situation would you be in if you left reviews saying you got a refund then he didn't refund it and you had to leave reviews again. You would look like a moron. I can't believe he would demand that.

But at the same time, maybe he's just weird about being told what to do and is still a legitimate vendor when it comes to sending product. I have been looking at him and I will definitely stay in escrow.

I can see where he is coming from because I'm sure buyers scam as much as vendors, but I think he went about this wrong.

Mushbud has always been nothing but solid and an amazing vendor to me. I've never had to communicate with him so I've never experienced anything close to what you claim. The prices that he sells at can almost be considered charitable, so maybe cut him some slack? Dunno, he's one of my faves and just received from him, so maybe he was having a bad day....

I'd like to know what the message you sent him on May 1st was. For all we know, you could have been being a huge douchecanoe.

You are an upstanding citizen of the community my reddit friend! I'm sorry you had to jump on the grenade, however you've helped many future buyers finally stop asking the question "MushBud or MushGuy?"

Smart users looking for Mushroom vendors are hopefully searching here before buying for the first time. And when they do, your story and documentation of how it all went down will help future buyers make good choices (hopefully).

OP, I would contact MushGuy (not on SR2) and explain your story...I bet he may give you the reddit special he had the other week. 1/2 oz for $40...

Prices, product, and speed otherwise have been outstanding in the past with plenty of positive experiences with this guy so the label "scammer" is overblown imo, this just sounds like a solidly mishandled transaction.

This doesn't really change my opinion of MUSHBUD to be honest, he wasn't obligated to give you a refund and is one of the most trustworthy vendors on the road. I doubt he tried to scam you, it probably got lost in transit/seized.

I guess you both could have been more patient with each other, I'm certain that if you weren't a dick and waited you would have got a refund and you would have got off with no loss while mush would have lost money.

I bought from him on Agora and received my stuff with no problem. I've been waiting to test his stuff so I can write a review, but this post really puts a bad taste in my mouth for him, who the fuck responds like such a dick and doesn't think of the backlash? His business literally depends on his reputation

[1 Points] IllTestTheYayo:

Mushbud is an outstanding vendor, his prices are insanely generous and he has a shit load of orders every day, most likely one of the busiest vendors out there. If I were you I would have waited a little longer for the refund, I am honestly impressed he would even suggest giving you one without any proof. I don't think there is any possibility of him being a scammer as your title suggests. I vouch for this guy having received 2 perfect orders.

Dude, fucking kick it and wait. He said orders would be delayed because of easter, and canada post, and his new harvest and shit. He guarantees the delivery of one pack out, anything more order at your own risk. ALL of my packs landed a couple days ago, after ~14 days. Have solid proof before you drag a good vendors name though the mud
