Use of stimulants in pro sports.

Stimulants are HUGE in Major League Baseball. I wonder how many player buy they're stuff on the DNMs now. Maybe that's what is driving up the price of Adderall!

I'd need a stimulant just to stay awake through a long boring baseball game. Slow as molasses in January.

Someone gets it for them legally would be my best. Lots of money being thrown around and tons of powerful connections.

Fuck they prob get it from their trainers. In the NFL at least they doled out "footballs" (qualitest norco) the night prior to a game. They also gave injections of who knows what right before the game. It let players plough through the pain. This has actually caused a lot of reform in how painkillers were given to players.

I wasn't a professional athlete but played collegiate rugby. I couldn't imagine playing on stims honestly. It could be my body chemistry but stims isn't conducive to sports for me, unless I guess the sport was fucking. Opioids were prevalent though and I used liberally as I aged. Once I hit 20, the abuse my body took simply wouldn't recover like it would when I was 18. I think sports folks feel their age sooner. So I started taking Oxy + Norco before and after games. Then during games. Right on the pitch. I wasn't the only one. I don't know how you can do it otherwsie. It let me hit harder, take hits better and let me ignore the pain.

Dude. Lawrence Taylor , line backer for the Giants in the 80's used to keep cut drinking straws full of cocaine under his wrist bands and snort it during the game....

Is watching porn on meth considered a sport????? Bahahahahahaha!!!!!

Baseball players get drug tested....amphetamines and other stimulants are easily detectable in any drug test.

Baseball players get TUEs - therapeutic use exemptions which allows them to use things like adderall. There are only ~100 MLB players that have such an exemption, and players get caught and banned every year for illegally using stimulants. So, OP you are full of shit.

I blew out my knees from a very young age while I was in both my high school and college swim team. I went to state and national several times over the years and painkillers are thrown around like they're nothing at all. Then, my career went to shit and I'm now 5 knee surgeries down the road with a hefty painkiller addiction. Gotta love the American Healthcare System.
