Either I have taken too much drugs, but is it not possible to manufacture 1p-LSD and then pass it off as LSD? Would it be cheaper. I have my suspicions about a vendor.
1p-LSD passed as LSD

1P-LSD is much more expensive at retail prices than LSD. They're probably around the same cost to produce, but I feel like the labs producing 1P-LSD are pretty well-equipped and therefore the cost should be driven down.
If you looked at distributors like LizardLabs or Lysergi, it seems like it's a lot more expensive to buy in bulk than it is with somebody like JoR or TGUK.

Well considering 1P-LSD is roughly 20% more potent by weight I would love to receive some 1P-LSD instead of LSD-25. Though the 1P that is going around is far more pure then most of the normal stuff, I find 1P to be stronger but virtually the same. I get tons of traces from 100ug of that stuff and I never see tracers of 100ug.
Studies conflict here as to the stability of 1p, so keep that in mind.
The short of it will degrade into LSD or else it's not worth ingesting - it if degrades prior to ingestion because it is less stable that it was believed to be (ask me how funny it was reading this article where replacing "which is what we want to happen" in my head while reading "which would create a danger" everytime the degradation into "regular" lsd was mentioned.
I doubt it's cheaper. I do theoretical work but I have lab skills because I enjoy doing lab work and spend time literally mucking about in empty labs when I have an opportunity at work as I feel it's important that in any career we don't lose the skills we learned as we grew in our career. If you went to med school and supplimented your income wiping butts in a nursing home, you should still know how to wipe a butt when you walk on stage to pick up your nobel for curing lymphoma, you know?
So it needs to degrade, and it doesn't matter if it degrades before or after ingestion. I don't get anything out of disso or I would probably have an easier time with numbers but I did sit once in grad school after breaking two fingers moving a couch to see if I could find the 20 cents or so I needed for a pack of cigarettes with a list of drugs I could synthesize and played with math (FYI I could access about any chemical I wanted for free and had unlimited unsupervised lab time) and LSD and analogs (analogs aren't a new thing, they're like the daft punk of the drug world) were the top of my list of good lord not even worth the time to think about making.
It's an interesting question. I like that USA forces sociology or humanities types majors to take chemistry because it gives everyone but the four insufferable chemistry lovers in the room something to bond over hating, but a few years later that old penny you dissolved then later reformed into a chunk of what copper was in there pokes out and makes you think. I love basement chemists; I love people who ignore statements that start with "you can't" and walk away before the end of a sentence that starts with 'you know what you need to do is..." because although I do work for major pharmaceutical companies and do have to bite my tongue quite a lot about the immovable belief so many have that we all just want to make money -- I don't correlate education with intelligence and I believe open mindedness and creativity make more significant change where it comes to drugs - therapeutic or recreational (which crossover considered obviously) than those who get paid to effect it.
