I've been watching the wallet on blockchain.info for days since I had it saved and it's finally been drained. I know it doesn't change what we're all already thinking but for me personally this is enough confirmation that it's gone forever.
My last deposit has just been moved out of the deposit wallet, in 2 separate amounts, that tells me they're tumbling coins as we speak.
If it was anything else, even LE consolidating coins, there'd be no need for the transaction to be split between 2 wallets. but hey I think we all figured it was a scam by now.
Here is the transaction, the wallet the coins were sent from is, as I said, the wallet I deposited my coins to on AB. https://blockchain.info/tx/476c6b0f4e52888f9bf5b40e7e2e2141d794cd5be7f18687accd3738c556025b
Edit: and yes while I can't prove that it was actually an alphabay address I don't really have any reason to lie. I could screen the messages I was sending to my friend (who sent me the coins) and my message where I gave him that address, but it doesn't prove that it was for AB since I never mentioned that.
If anybody else has their deposit address saved and lost coins while they were still in your wallet, check it on blockchain and get back to us, post the transaction though since addresses will get picked up by the spam filter.
I reckon it's more it was shut down/captured, and the other admins are clearing out what they can. Just because they took down a server/set of servers in Canada doesn't mean they got access to the site, it could be running under FDE (Full Disk Encryption), so will take effort to break into it.
In the mean time, the other admins took the opportunity to clear the wallets and cash out. This is the best scenario, it means data might not be compromised and the other admins got away. Hate on AB all you like, they were an online market that let you buy drugs in relative safety and ease, and personally I adore them for that.
