Can you get CD'ed for buying weed in a decriminalized state?

My state says "no jail time for 18+ for possession of under 1oz of marijuana for personal use". Will usps/feds care enough to CD, or will I just get a love letter as a punishment if anything.

Well, not going into the probability of a CD, marijuana is NOT legal at the federal level. Right now, the federal government is looking the other way as it pertains to the legalization of marijuana - it is NOT legal in the eyes of the feds. The federal government for the most part is not happy with legalization but its a stalemate right now. In addition, you are using USPS which makes that a federal crime anyway.

So yes, you could get a CD in a decriminalized or legal state. You have the same risks as the rest of us chumps in states that haven't legalized yet when you order pot through the mail.

highly unlikely, i dont think they'd come for much less than maybe a half pound, if ur getting 1-2 pounds a week more than once than Id maybe get a little worried depending on stealth measures

I'd say it is possible but unlikely.

Answer is yes. More weight the more likely. Fed law trumps

You're committing a felony, regardless. Even in a decrim state, it's still illegal. And it's still illegal to ship controlled substances through the mail, regardless of carrier.
