Alphabay Changed My Password and took my coins

I deposited BTC into Alphabay today and waited for the three confirmations. As soon as they appeared, I followed the hash on the market wallet and the coins were directly sent to two separate addresses. When I tried to login to the market, my password was changed and my pin wouldn't work.

No one knows my password and it happened immediately after the coins were confirmed in the wallet. I also used the reddit link that I always use to access the website, so there is no way I was phished.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Is there any hope for my coins in terms of backup or recovery?

Thanks for any help that you guys can provide me.

Lately i've read many incidents like this, im starting to get worried.

AB is acting shady lately

[6 Points] MDMangel:

Did you have 2-FA enabled......

Awww fuck it. You know what? Stay the hell away from AB!!!!!

[6 Points] None:

They always send to two separate wallets IIRC. It's a built in feature.

Deposited twice yesterday, both fine and done within 30 mins.

There is nothing to be said. You got phished, deal with it. Nobody ever lost coins due to a bug. Now let's stop trashing this subreddit, shall we?

[3 Points] WestCoastBarbarian:

Idk man not saying you're a liar but I've deposited well over 7-8k multiple times and I've never got jacked by them so that leads me to believe most of these posts are victims of phishing

[2 Points] drtybngwater:

lololol. i re read op post twice just to make sure. hey OP you should NEVER have to give your pin at login. That right there should have told you that you were being phished...

[2 Points] GrandWizardsLair:

The Grand Wizard suggests AlphaBay make 2FA mandatory for buyers as well as vendors. That would certainly result in some complaints from people who don't want to be bothered with the extra step. But it should also cut the phishing complaints down considerably.

Yeah alphabay needs to be taking off the main market list and have warnings put on it. Make more people aware that this is happening.

I just placed 3 orders on alphabay today. Seems to be working fine with me. my coins were deposited within 45 minutes.

I think it's getting to the stage of if you don't have 2FA enabled then tough shit. It is like FE'ing and then complaining that nothing arrives.

Don't take the risk.

I mean don't take the risk by not using 2FA...

[1 Points] CynicalElephant:

  1. Post pics to prove any of this.
  2. Dont use alphabay
  3. Use 2FA
  4. I have no pity

ive said it about ten times now ITS A SCAM SITE!!!. then they come here and flood the threads with phishing nonsense and even the alphabay forums the admins refuse to comment on anything. look up what happened saint symbiosis, the admins hacked his account and kept it running a good 2 months after the account was fe scamming everyone with hidden feedback. its 100% admins and not phishing, how the fuck would anyone here be phished? we dont click links and no one sends us any, yet all you hear from shills is phish phish phish. fuck off alpha bay. all of you go to the forums and look up the scam reports, not one of them answered yet all marked as solved because its ADMINS themselves doing it. the fact the sad cunts come on here to silence people should be proof enough, this doesnt happen on any other market.
