I ordered a small, personal amount of weed 8 days ago, and still haven't received it. According to vendor, the order was marked as "shipped" within 12 hours, and shipped via USPS Priority, which was listed as being 2-3 day shipping. After 6 days of no package, I messaged my vendor asking what was up, considering my order was about to auto-FE if I didn't report a problem with my order. My vendor (very big name, domestic US) replied saying that he had heard reports of long carrier delays, and to give it a few more days to show up. Today, after 2 more days of no package, I get a message from him claiming that he was getting reports of USPS taking 2 weeks(??) to deliver his packages. I also checked myUSPS, which said that I had no shipments en route to my residence - wtf?
Is this normal? I live next to a major USPS sorting hub, and my region consistently experiences the fastest priority shipping I've ever seen anywhere else. Should I ask him for a tracking number? I froze the funds in escrow, and have been in direct contact with the vendor. My house is clean and I have two tickets to Belize, etc.
tl;dr - Vendor is claiming that USPS Priority takes 2 weeks to deliver. Is he fucking with me?
*EDIT - Vendor is CaliforniaGreenCross on Nucleus. Will make a vendor/weed review when product arrives.
Not what I wanted to read. Buyer beware, at this point. Ordered from CaliGC the second week of January. No arrival after 10 days and was told that package was shipped on the day ordered. Claimed that there's no tracking number kept for OPSEC. Currently in resolution on Nucleus awaiting a reship. Fingers crossed, but something smells fishy.
