first time using markets, should I dispute this order on evolution?

So this is my first time ordering off darknet markets. I have an order with this guy on evolution who has mostly positive feedback but after searching on here has a few threads about how he may be a selective scammer/ has scammed people in the past or at least people on here claim he scammed them.

I put in an order for something, it was supposed to be express shipping with a tracking #, I wait a few days, hasnt shipped, he gets back to me telling me the product he was supposed have he doesnt, but he can replace it something similar, so I say ok.

He emails me like a week later saying he needs my shipping info, which I already sent him through pgp but I guess his pgp key isnt working, he didnt say anything till now, but I privnote him my shipping info. He was meant to ship it out earlier, today, even if he does ship it out my order may autofinalize before it gets here, so if its not what he says it is in the ad, I'm more or less screwed from what I understand.

Should I put in a dispute, this feels incredibly shady to me, like he's maybe just waiting me out, he hasnt responded to messages I've sent him either.

Also if I do put in a dispute, and he ships the package and it gets here and is legit, can I then drop the dispute?

edit nvm, dealer came through

I'd feel sketchy about a vendor asking for my address again. Sounds like LE to me (ie claims of 'selective scamming' usually happen when the vendor gets busted, then goes away as the account is in LE control).

Message support about it.

If they don't get back to you then dispute it. He'll have to deal with his own fuck up.

Which vendor btw?

If I was you I'd just cancel the order and get something else.

I'd also open up that PRIVNOTE so he can't see my address in case he attempts blackmail or something.

Good luck.

I decided to dispute, seeing what happens, as he never messaged me back after I sent him a message saying if he didnt respond I would dispute.

Dealer came through so all's well, shit happens but he seems like a cool dude, I was sketched it being my first buying on a market, but everything turned out ok.

Not sure about your last question but you can contact support on Evo and request that the days to auto finalize be extended.
