Hello there!
I ordered an item from a vendor on AB located in the UK. So far, I have only had good experience with said vendor, no delivery has taken more than 7 days (I'm in central Europe) from day of order.
I ordered the item on 29th January, and it was marked as shipped/finalized (FE) on 30th. The vendor prides himself with posting all items within 24h after ordering, 'most times on the same day'.
This time, it took 13 days to arrive (2 sundays, granted), but I got skeptical. This is a photo of the postage stamp.
It's the first time ever for me to take a closer look on a british postage stamp, but on the Royal Mail Track&Trace site, the first entry - "SENT AT POST OFFICE", which in their glossary translates to "The sender has posted the item at a Post Office®", is also dated 04/02/16.
I have no experience in any things post service related, that's why I'm asking you to take a look. But to me, it looks as if the item was indeed only taken to the PO on 4th February, and not shipped on 30th January, as claimed by the vendor.
This might appear to be cherry-picking, and about a very miniscule thing at that. I also understand vendors have to protect themselves, which might lead to delays.
But it's important for me - I want to be able to have an at least rough estimate of the arrival date, and I dislike vendors just finalizing for dem bitcoinz, and then sending the product five days later - especially if they advertise that they'd ship every single order in at most 24 hours.
So, help me out here - am I misunderstanding or lacking data, or has the parcel indeed been brought to the P.O. on 4th Feb.?
Thanks, and apologies if hard to understand sentences, typos etc. are present in this text. I am practicing and improving! :)
Nothing in life is certain. There are no drugs for sale that let any of us see the future. My brother quit his job at the post office right before your pack got there so we have no more inside info into the secret society that is "The Post Office." Patience is a virtue. We should all have done enough research to fully understand the consequences of ordering illegal substances through the mail. This isn't Amazon.
