How should I rate this vendor?

From day 4 I filed a dispute to prevent releasing the funds from escrow to the vendor. It was going to be the weekend, and day 7 was a public holiday, so the order would have been delivered on day 8 at best.

I argued that if the vendor expected delivery to take that long, they shouldn't have set auto finalize to 5 days. Right?

Vendor said they don't offer refunds (I didn't ask for a refund). But what's the point of escrow then? (Honest question). No mention of this on their profile. Said I should have asked before I ordered. Is this honest?

What should I say in my review?

You paid some money, he sent you some product, took longer than expected, you ate it, give an opinion on what you felt.

No need to mention you're a bit anal retentive. I don't know what a prospective customer would do with that information.

You sound like the type of person that would throw a shit fit if your pizza that was suppose to come in 30 minutes came in 35.

Anyways it sounds like you counted the weekend and holidays as days when, even though the vendor might not have said business days, clearly meant business days. Also I'm sure the 1-3 days was from when the package was shipped and in sure you started the clock from the moment you clicked on the fucking buy button. The fact that you got the product and still think you deserve a full refund makes you the piece of shit in this situation

Seriously though, you should rate him a 4/5 and state shipping was slower than advertised and he should rate you 0/5 for being a shitty fucking consumer.

[3 Points] None:

Just give him a 5/5, say shipping took awhile but product is good/bad/okay.

Listen to this guy, op Are you serious op? Really? Be honest?

So was the late shipping the vendors fault or was it the postal service/holiday season?

Now when you explained better, only problem I see here is that vendor has set auto-finalize to early. Afterall, nobody has control over the post transit times. You did received order and if you are satisfied with a product rate him well. Rate should be only within scope what under vendor's control. Maybe a pm vendor with a note not to set autofinalite to early? You asked what is a point of a escrow? Even with vendor terms, if you can't reach to solution, final say is market admins as they can disregard vendor terms.
