Help me understand package profiling

With news that Belgium and Netherlands shippers are getting busted, I just had a question. Do they profile packages as they leave EU or as they enter US? It seems certain US sorting facilities are becoming stricter as well.

On certain vendor's profiles, you can see that midwest/west coast tend to get packages easily but east coast has problems sometimes. Is that a coincidence?

Likely both. It seems like this attack is very coordinated, and both sides of the pond have very open lines of communication.

I have a feeling you don't have much hard evidence to back up the second statement.

Why take the risk when you can just order domestic? It might not be as cheap but its a lot better than losing everything.

Moreso as the enter teh US. But it sounds like its a joint operation where LEA's are communicating inter-country.

i think they would do it at every possible opportunity if they are trying to make it as hard as possible
