What happens when cops intercept a parcel but can't prove you bought it/payed for it/ordered it?

Sorry if this is the wrong subreddit but What happens when cops intercept a parcel but can't prove you bought it/payed for it/ordered it?

Can you get in trouble, should I lawyer up just in case or should I just say that I had no knowledge of this parcel and that I don't know why someone would send me that.

(This is a hypothetical scenario that involves a small amount of bud and lets assume it happens in the UK)

Thanks guys.

Try r/DNMUK for UK specifics

If it's a small amount of bud posted domestic UK then the rozzers will probably never find it, but it they do they'll probably chuck it in the bin

If it's a small amount of bud in the UK arriving domestically, the chance it will even get caught is basically 0 unless you order from a tard.

If it's a small amount of bud arriving internationally at most you'll receive a love letter. They might not even bother. Even for 2oz from Canada they just send you a love letter.

You could order a kilo of mdma and if you have everything on your side covered, coins tumbled, tails, etc etc it doesn't matter if it gets caught. Well I guess it does matter since you'd be a kilo of mdma down but... at least you'd have your freedom.

So yeah, you really have nothing to worry about with small amounts of bud in the UK. Come over to /r/DNMUK :D

Thus begins mail profiling. If you think a packs been intercepted, its safe to assume the address has been burnt.

Thanks guys, first time I'm hearing about r/DNMUK, you'll definitely be seeing me a lot there

When CBP intercepted 100 modafinil tablets which were enroute to me, they sent me a letter listing my options regarding whether I wanted to contest the seizure. It was written in legalese, so I just ignored it. Haven't heard from them in 1-2 years.
