Is buying large amounts of a product for a friend ok or a horrible idea?

So,

I take my OPSEC pretty serious. I use TOR, VPN, PGP and I only buy in personal amounts. I lay low.

Now my friend is in need of 20+ grams of MDMA for an upcoming festival. He doesn't know anything about using the dark net and he wants to give me money and his address for me to get the product shipped to his house from the vendor.

Things I see wrong with this:

  1. There is a trace of me receiving his money electronically through banks.
  2. I would be making a large purchase of BTC through a verified account on Coinbase.
  3. I am making a larger, more noticeable purchase of a product that is easily classified as distributable.

Since I am using his name and shipping it to his house, will all the blame be off of me? I just want to know how much more dangerous this is for me and if you would do something like this.

Throwaway account :)

You're practically already in jail

If your friend gets caught with 20gs, assume he's going to point the finger back at you. Base your decision off of that.

That being said,

I take my OPSEC pretty serious. I use TOR, VPN, PGP and I only buy in personal amounts. I lay low.

is all pretty useless if your friends know about it.

Don't let him pay you by bank transfer, for fuck's sake.

Unless you're making a hefty fee off this deal and I mean HEFTY then don't do it. I'd say you need to be making a finders fee at least $300-500 off this deal for it to be worth your while. I personally think the risk for reward factor for a 1 time deal for 20g's of Molly is worth the risk of making $300-500.

Unless you really like this guy and don't mind going through the trouble and risk, don't it.

[2 Points] the_dope_show:

Do you trust him not to rat on you? Even if he's facing years in prision?

How about you tell him to pay you a fee, and you walk him through it? That way you have done nothing but show him how. Even if he gets caught with it, all he can say is you helped him get it, not that he gave you money, and rugs came in the mail.

No, humans are wired for self preservation, some can fight that instinct and think logically, others panic and think of them rotting in jail. Just my opinion, I'm very distrustful though.

No TAILS?

What do you plan to do if the market closes or the vendor scams you and all his money vanishes?

If he's a good friend you've known for a long time and you're already comfortable arranging drug deals with him, why don't you just teach him how to use DNMs? That way he gets his drugs and you don't get in any trouble.

If you do want to order for him, you can minimize the links back to you by buying coin with localbitcoin in cash and shipping to his address.

I would be more worried about the product arriving and your "friend" trying to scam you out of the money by pretending it never arrived - make him pay upfront or buy the coins himself.

I say go for it, and you better get some free drugs or a cut out of the deal. If he can unload 20 grams, that's at least a few thousand dollars profit. :)

[1 Points] None:

I dont agree with buying him his drugs. But if you were sharing drugs with him that would be different. That is how I learned about the DNMs. A CLOSE friend, who I ended up living with, started sharing all his drugs with me I guess as kinda of a guinea pig. Though we never bought each other drugs merely bought drugs off each other haha.

jesus let him learn and do it himself. youre gonna get caught up even if youre "just ordering" for him and stop blabbing about you being able to purchase drugs off the dark net
