Sent bitcoins with very low fee...can I double spend it to add on a higher transaction fee?- hansa

I decided to give electrum a try and being the total newb I am didn't realize that I sent a multisig Bitcoin payment and included a real low default fee amount and now my transaction is stuck in unconfirmed limbo. It's been like that the whole day and now I'm thinking of trying to double spend via this method http://bitzuma.com/posts/how-to-clear-a-stuck-bitcoin-transaction/

With the way electrum is set up (confusing to me) is that my balance seems to be spread out to different wallet address. So i wouldn't have enough for a decent fee if I did the same source and target address to double spend. Is it possible to use the above method to get the coins back for a retry?

I figured since the vendor wouldn't even see the order til 1 confirmation that it would be possible.

Thanks for the article. I also sent a payment with low fees and the vendor ended up running out of stock. Its either I wait for prob days or try this to get my funds back.

I'm not an expert but I think GreenAddress wallet allows you to do this easily.
