Is it safe to use tails in parallels on Mac ?

Hey, I've recently bought a Mac. When I had a Windows pc I had tails on a stick and always booted tails up when I needed to use it. Now with having a Mac I didn't used tails anymore. Now I want to start using it and I want to be as anonym as possible. I downloaded parallels yesterday. Is it safe to use tails with parallels ?

Thanks

I've heard to stay away from running it in any virtual machines. Can you boot from a USB via parallels?

It's slightly more safe than just using the Tor browser bundle on the host machine.

The issue is, the host machine still has complete access to the virtual machine. Virtual machines are designed to isolate the host machine from the virtual machine, and not so much the other way around.

Your best bet would be to make a Tails live USB. I believe that there is driver issues with Apple wireless chipsets though, so you'll need to purchase an external USB WiFi dongle. After that you'll be set.

Just save all your personal files in an encrypted file online while running Tails on your PC. Download and setup Tails for your Mac. Establish persistence and move your files back to your computer. Decrypt and go.
