Short question, ive known from a forum conversation somewhere long ago about them receiving a packages ie. Boxes.

is it; ALL mail goes through customs or only packages? my point is Letter. does Letter get check too?

Some is checked some just goes right through. It's the luck of the draw.

All mail goes through customs, but not all mail is checked at customs. The smaller the package the less likely it will be inspected carefully. For example, a small letter that looks like a b-day card and could only contain maximum a few grams of powder smooshed flat, you're probably good to go 99%+ of the time as long as it's not from a notoriously profiled country. Larger packages like boxes are probably each scrutinized individually with X-ray at a minimum, and opened and manually searched through at random as well.

Letter mail does not get checked ar customs ever they focus on large packages and items that require a customs declaration. Thats why they send regular letter mail - if its tracked the likelyhood of it being searched is 10fold especially international
