The good news is that she seems to be drinking the "blockchain everything" koolaid so hopefully she'll focus on that for a while.

Another thing about tumblers is which end you start tracking at. They're designed to hide where bitcoin originally came from. But if the bitcoin has been stolen off you and you see it going IN, you can often just follow the largest chunk at each stage as its smashed into smaller and smaller pieces. Halfway through the chunks start adding back together like a snowball gathering snow until you have a smowman again, sitting still - only in a different wallet.

Force will have panicked and tried to tumble his vast stolen fortune in one go, when its best to tumble small amounts per sitting. Less than 10 btc, and most tumblers tumble 10 btc which ISN'T yours, but was deposited by a few users yesterday.

I'd like to see the FBI try to crack THAT, because I can't. And clever tumblers vary the amount of commission they take at random so the amount emerging isn't always 2% smaller than the amount deposited.

The FBI don't really catch anybody through bitcoin. They catch them doing crime, THEN try to work out how many bitcoin they've earned and where it came from. If they DID rely on blockchain evidence in court, it would be hard for a jury who've never used bitcoin to understand. That's why they catch people in their Belgian warehouse full of speed and ketamine.
