Do vendors write reviews on their own listings?

Just curious, this would be pretty easy to do wouldn't it? And be in their best interest.

ALL vendors pad feedback to an extent. youd be stupid not to....

Remember that for each "review" the vendor will be paying 4% of whatever the listing is.

Also the buyer accounts will all say 1-2 sales.

Yes, they definitely do. It would be very easy, all they have to do is make new accounts, buy/finalize a listing of their own 10 or so times to make their purchase history seem legit, and then write reviews.

Yeah, unfortunately padded feedback happens. Sometimes its obvious, sometimes not. That's why when you are researching a vendor, you need to get a deep, contextual understanding of that vendor's rep. While its easy to spoof some reviews, it is harder to do that in multiple places, on multiple platforms, and eventually, a bad vendor is going to get called out.

The most obvious padded feedback happened when Evo exit scammed. A bunch of vendors went ot Blackbank and one vendor I kept an eye on registered a day or two after the Evo exit scam, then same day feedback appeared. LOL. In this vendor's case, they had flawless feedback on Evo, obviously looking to get some feedback flowing to make a sale. Or perhaps the vendor hand delivered that first order :)

Only vendors with malicious intent would do something like this. Shitty to think that padding feedback is still possible.
