If I had a roommate with the exact same name as me, got CD'd how would they prove who's it was?I heard this happened similarly for a murder case.Where two suspects had the same name and couldn't prove it.
what would happen

I think the murder case was 2 twin brothers with the same dna and they couldn't prove which one it was so they both got of free.

Why would the name on the package matter? If they can't prove you ordered it they can't do shit

If neither of you gave up which one did it, they would just arrest both of you and sort it out later in court. Not a good plan.

How would they prove a crime was committed if you never open the package... Offtopic, I know but... that seems to be the real issue.
The "guilty party" seems to be the person opening the package. And if the name on the package doesn't match, then you add mail fraud to the list of charges.
