When you're just a little bit short on bitcoin for an order...

About to complete an order and I'm around 50 cents short. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for websites where a bit of labor is exchanged for BTC. I found /r/Jobs4Bitcoins, but completing big graphic/web design projects isn't really my strong suit. Anyway, if anyone has any ideas/tips for earning some spare change please let me know :)

Wait it out. Fluctuation will rise sometime today.

There should be a perma thread so people can come here and borrow/lend BTC for just such an occasion. If you need less than a dollar just ask politely and those of us with extra karma can hook it up.

You could try those "gambling" sites, satoshi dice and there's that color one...can't remember the name right now.

Seems like you'd either get some extra coin, or possibly dig yourself in worse than you are :P

Either way, maybe just wait for the price to adjust slightly? 50 cents fluctuation with bitcoins volatility seems like it would only take a couple hours to possibly lean in your favor.

Yeah, wait a few hours and you'll either be 50 cents over or under depending on the price.

I've had good luck trading btc for alt coins but it takes a few days. I started with 100 bucks and I'm up to 300 after a few months of casual trading

Just wait a couple hours. It's expected to rise

you might also pm your vendor.. if you've order in the past and not been a problem customer, they might be willing to accept the order minus the 50 cents.. some vendors absolutely wont, but i've had some that are happy to help for repeat customers.

I miss the gold old days of vb5piz3r when you could just hop on the forums and the spare coin thread always had your back.

Haha I was in the exact situation today... order of $22.29, shipping $1.50, my freshly-filled wallet contained $23.50. (Figures pulled out of my arse, but you knoiw what I mean). Waited a little while to see if the exch rate fluctuation would work in my fav but eventually I gave up and bought something else.
