This shouldn't concern anybody here, because you're all using accounts that you only ever log into via Tor and which don't have your identity linked, and you always use PGP... right guys... right..?
Seriously, if you don't encrypt it yourself, you should consider it compromised and public knowledge. The law will not protect you. YOU will protect you.

Unfortunately this doesn't apply to US citizens.
The government can still compel tech co.'s to hand over all data pertaining to US citizens, regardless of where it's stored. At least that's how I read it.

UNTIL, of course, the gov't says the magic word:
TERRORISM! THEY'RE TERROR-ING! LOOK! TERROR, RIGHT OVER THERE! TAKE THEIR RIGHTS! ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!!

I just can't understand why that wasn't his defence.
People who say he'd have to admit being DPR are mistaken I think. He doesn't have to admit to being DPR to ask where the evidence came from, does he??

Awesome time to go overseas? but honestly should win imo, US Gov should have any rights to access things outside of US like that sounds like everything belongs to the US like screw the borders everything is ours!
