So this is all hypothetical for now, since I don't want to start a witch hunt. I have tried messaging the vendor in question and had no response, which has led me to this.
Basically I have a couple of favourite products. Over on Nucleus I bought one of these and it came through with no issue. A few weeks later I decide to buy another product he is selling. Except for this time he exit scammed and ran off with a few peoples money. After another unsuccessful attempt at ordering on Nucleus (my fault, not theirs. I'm actually a regular user) I decided to try out the old faithful Agora.
I came across my favourite product, which is reasonably difficult to find how it is. The strange thing is, when my product arrived it was packaged exactly the same as Mr ExitScam from Nucleus. I'm not even talking slightly similar. It is a very unique method of stealth and I literally cannot find a difference between the two products.
After looking at the dates I realised that this vendor had appeared on Nucleus not long after the whole Evolution fiasco. As far as I can tell he took advantage of something that was, at that time, massively overpriced and in heavy demand. He took lots of FE orders and ran away with the money. I accepted this at the time, it was my own fault for FE. Even though I'd had a few orders with him and considered him a trusted vendor.
Fast forward some time, I run out of my product and look on Agora to order more, I find a vendor who sounds pretty legit and seemed to have excellent reviews. I pulled the trigger and ordered. When it turned up it was the exact same product. I've messaged the vendor and had no reply.
I even explained I don't want anything except for him to own up to his dishonesty (hey, people are naive sometimes) and I've received no message back.
There really is no denying it is the same product, if I could explain the stealth method it would be understandable. Also it isn't exactly a common product to get domestically where I live.
I'm unsure what to do really, so just reaching out for some advice. At first I wanted to call him out publicly, but then there may be some other explanation. After checking out both accounts, the Nucleus account definitely appears to be a rushed version of his Agora account. The product is the same. And to top it all off, he won't reply to messages when questioned about this, but has replied to others.
I just think it's a little unfair that a guy with such a big rating on Agora is running round other markets and using them to exit scam people to get money back they lost on Evo. I mean, a lot of people lost out. Shit happens. Deal with it, don't rip people off trying to get your money back.
It would be interesting to hear from anyone from UK/Europe who got exit scammed on Nucleus a bit ago. The product in question was a massively overpriced £60/g that never arrived, for a lot of people.
Sorry for the rambling on, I'm just trying to decide whether to call this guy out publicly without any hard evidence, or at least another few similar experiences.
Cheers
Message on the market he is most active on asking about the situation with Nucleus. Often scammers use legit vendor's names on other markets, copy listings, mimic stealth, and then when they gain enough momentum on that market turn and burn people by exiting.
