[GeneralQuestions] MULTISIG

I just lost 5 btc on evo, which is a pittance compared to a lot of people but a huge sum of money to myself. I like to think of myself as someone who learns from his mistakes, so I am looking for the best markets (In terms of mods, #/quality of vendors, interface, etc.) that offer multisig escrow. Also, if anyone could point me in the right direction to figure out how to use multisig I would appreciate it.

To everyone else who lost money, we MUST demand multisig support from markets. This is not the first time this has happened, and it's about time we learned our lesson as a community.

Kimble and Verto, go fuck yourselves. I may be out a lot of money, but I sleep without fearing for my life. Karma is a bitch and someone will find your asses.

There are no markets worthwhile with full multisig support.

TheMarketPlace had a good run as the only true multisig market but i2p and multisig itself led to its decline. Sorry to see TMP go.

Multisig only markets will never be popular and no market looking to make money will kill centralized escrow.

No markets have true multisig. TMP was the only market with it and they are gone. When I say true multisig I mean it goes into a multisig wallet that the market does not have access to. Evolutions multisig was flawed because it had you deposit the funds in a site-side wallet that they controlled before being moved to a multisig wallet. You can see why this would be an issue given what you know about the admins now.

The best you can do now is wait. TMP never got traction because they forced a lot of safe technology that people didn't want to bother learning. And forced you to use i2p which is another story. The bottom line is you need a balance between security and what your customers will actually put up with. People will always take the path of least resistance, after all EVO had multisig (flawed) but still no one used it.
