GDAX says I can't use their services living in my state. How do I change this?

I buy coin through Coinbase, and wanted to try Gdax to avoid fees. When I tried to sign up, it says Gdax is not supported in my state. I think Coinbase lets me buy because I signed up as being in another state (even though I had to upload my ID) - but how do I change this for Gdax? My only option is to contact the service center and I figured they'd catch on and kick me off Coinbase, too.

Move.

Just buy another home in another state. Go for an ID in said state then register a new gdax account. When your registration is accepted you rent out the second property.

You probably live in New York. Get over it and move on to another exchange

The same thing happened to me when I first tried to use GDAX. They began accepting customers from my state a couple months later.

Lying might be an option (depending on how they verify your place of residence).

You could set up an account in the name of an out-of-state friend.
