Is is safe to buy electronics on DNM?

I came across a seller who's reliable and sells electonics on pretty decent prices, he claims they are not carded (theguest if anyone knows him, has plenty of vouchers) I wanted to know if I can get in any trouble for buying electronics with bitcoin? like, I am going to spend 1BTC and nothing more. I already have it ready to get tumbled, but I am hesitant, since it is my first purchase on the DN.

Is this on a market or is it a standalone onion? If it's on standalone site it's a scam.

All onion electronics stores are scams. There is already a market where you can sell electronics you have carded or stolen from stores, it's called Ebay. The reason thieves target electronics is because they can be flipped for close to face value. Why would they setup a hidden service to sell stuff as stolen for half price when they could get 75% of it's value on Ebay with much less hassle?

Everything that I have read says don't buy electronics on DNMs. Some of the deals seem great, but I have yet to see anyone say that it is a good idea.

It is not from a standalone onion site, it's from alphabay, the seller's name is theguest and he has tons of feedback and he's also known from Evo, many people vouch for him. He accepts escrow and release upon item is receieved, what do you think? My main question is it risky using a carded smartphone/console/laptop or whatever? (even thought he claims they are not carded.)
