ELI5: SharedSend vs. BitcoinFog vs. SharedCoin.com

I think I understand what BitcoinFog does. Essentially you put x.xxBTC into a pot and after 6 hrs get to take a different x.xxBTC (minus their fee) out in randomised amounts from random places and by taking completely different coins out from different addresses severes your ties to it.

How do the other options vary? I've read SharedSend is less safe at severing this link, how? Which should I use/which is safest? I don't really like waiting 6 hrs for my BTC to tumble and paying a few % to BitcoinFog but it's worth it if it's the safest method.

Shared send doesn't exist anymore, blockchain only offers shared coin now. The different methods (or here, the main two bcf and sc) seem to be highly debatable in terms of effectiveness.

The main argument against bcf is that you are basically tumbling your "dirty" coins with other "dirty" coins. So perhaps you are trading some drug coins for some other drug coins or even worse, CP coins. So it's possible (but yet to be confirmed) that tumbling thru bcf, or any darknet resource, could make your coins more dirty than they were before and not really help you out.

On the other side is sharedcoin, which should in theory be tumbling your "clean" coins with other clean coins and then sending them to the market of your choice. The more repetitions you run the better you will cover you trail and make it harder to tell where you coins came from or went. The fees are less and it is much quicker, however, your blockchain could be connected to your normal clearnet email address or the coins traced back to your coinbase or whatever exchange you purchased on.

This quick summary would suggest that SC is "better" but no one really knows because there has yet to be a single LE case of them tracing the blockchain to make an arrest. So far all arrests have been due to old fashion techniques like intercepting parcels in the mail and completing controlled deliveries.

Obviously I didn't cover all the aspects of both of these, hopefully someone else will fill in some gaps.
