Has LEO given up on taking down Markets?

Like the post a few days ago. Seems like people are only using Dream, Hansa, and AB.. Hansa and AB are indeed my favorites right now. But one of these days these markets are gonna disappear or not? is LEO just letting this go on since they know we will jump from market to market? There is so many markets. Are these markets even profiting at all? Trade route seems really nice to me. Are some of them LEO?

Sorry guys just had some random qeustions. I see great minds here would love to hear some input in what you guys think about the LEO part just letting this go on since there is no way to really stop it forever?

PS: What are some markets you would jump to in case The TOP 3 disappear? And what are some other good markets that are unknown now?

Everyday it becomes more apparent that this sub doesn't really understand how LE operates.

I think hansa is here for the long run the market is designed to prevent an exit scam and it would make no sense for alphabay to exit scam they make millions monthly

Spring cleaning is among us.

Technically, it's impossible to take all markets down forever. They may take one down, but at least two, three new ones will pop up in its place. The more they take down, the better security we'll have because admins learn from previous fuckups.

So they appear to be focusing on getting vendors and buyers these days.

Fuck, how I love the Internet and the freedom we have on it. They will never stop this. Never.feelsgoodman.jpg

Also, taking down markets won't do nearly as much damage as using the markets with fake accounts to take down vendors.

LE will always go after markets. They are a single point to attack, and while a bloody ballache to take down (a surprising amount of it comes down to luck), if they're profitable and popular, the LE will go after em.

I think LE is more focused on dealers/buyers because they need to have even better OPSEC than the people running the marketplaces. You are not behind a computer writing code - you need to get out into the open to mail your drugs and keep an inventory within your home for customers.

Like... AlphaBay is based out of Russia. Good luck bringing an indictment against the Russians running it. Plus I believe a lot of marketplace operators have taken the lessons learned from the Silk Road bust and will likely not repeat Ross Ulbricht's mistakes.

This flair though >>> hilarious!

No. They definitely haven't. That's where the money is and where the people are. Market opsec has probably gotten a little bit better, but if I had to guess at least one or two of the markets has been owned by LEA.

No

Maybe the new generation of admins has learned something and decided not to write a diary about their daily shenanigans.

They don't take down the markets because they are the markets
