Disputing order- should I notify vendor ahead of time?

I placed an order on 11/11 and have yet to receive it. I've messaged the vendor, who responded once, but then has been MIA.

Should I send a message to the vendor that I'm going to dispute since I haven't received anything yet?

When I've had to dispute I've personally messaged the vendor after I raised it to let them know my reasons for doing so, it's just the polite thing to do. Good luck though, delays suck.

You don't have to but it will be nice. So you have to decide if you want to be ice with the vendor.

Ya message him give him 24 hours to respond them dispute. I just went through this , talk about a waste of 2 weeks of Bitcoin sittin in escrow.

When I dispute with a vendor, I never notify them.

Because you should've already sent multiple messages by the time the auto finalize is down to 2< days, assuming domestic. Just hit the dispute button if you've already sent them a message about a package delay. If you've sent the vendor a message about a delayed package and you dispute it, and they still can't figure out why you're disputing, they have a 110% of being a moron.

Nah file the dispute then contact the vendor. The dispute does nothing but helps to ensure vendor works on a resolution. It's no more offensive then counting money someone handed you before they left.

I just rec. my stuff.... finally. I looked up the tracking# and it states that the package wasn't dropped off at USPS until a week after it was marked shipped.
