question about phone tor????

I have looked into the whole tor business very little. I have just the simple tor browser on my computer that i like to goof off on with friends "hey look wanna buy a kilo of coke or a gun!?". I've always stuck to the in person drug obtaining. Just seemed like less hassle and risk. But a buddy of mine recently said that he's been ordering off the dnm.. on his phone. I know there's the orfox or whatever it is for phones but it seems way too easy to be safe. He said all he did was downloaded orfox and the tor thing (can't remember the name. The one that sets up a VPN I guess..), bought some btc shoved it into his imaginary online wallet and bought drugs. He's shown me the stuff he's bought so I atleast know he's getting stuff but is it really that easy? Using a computer it seems you need tails and pgp and this and that.. but is it really as easy as downloading two apps to do it on your phone? Maybe some super small purchases or something but I thought dealers like required you to use pGp. Sorry for knowing 2.6% of the darknet just wondering if I could be obtaining drugs at a lower risk of bust.

That is incredibly unsafe. Tell your friend he's an idiot.

If it was a burner phone I doubt you'd have to worry. Just smash the thing lol.

Yes it is thAt easy using a phone. But it is not safe or recommended what so ever

Nah he's fucked. Tell him to burn down his house and move to belize.

It's possible, but why not exercise the most safety you can; IE Tails + tor when you're ordering drugs from the internet.

I have it on my phone to browse the markets from a separate account than the one I buy from just to look at things when I'm on the go. I wouldn't trust it for anything past that

Unless you built the app and browser yourself. I wouldnt use it for anything other than browsing (Minus Cp ~ pervs always get caught) And any login or personal info should not be sent through.

If you are a casual user who only orders small amounts for personal use, as long as you order domestic from established vendors, you'll be pretty good to go with very low risk. I wouldn't order on a smartphone though - a cheap laptop, a couple of cheap encrypted usb sticks with TAILS and Pgp keys, you are pretty much set - Local pd won't be interested in small time DNM purchasers, unless the stealth is ludicrous (place a bunch of pills in a white envelope, no return address, or a stinky bag of weed with no mylar/shrinkwrap) you will be fine. DEA/FBI would be interested in large scale vendors, and re-sellers, most local PD are oblivious to the DNMs, or have much more pressing threats, and the USPS is underfunded, and understaffed.

Our government (usa) like to pretend that they are much more omnipotent then they are. International, you are rolling the dice, domestic, as long as stealth is straight, you have a very high chance of success - barring some freak accident that exposes the contents of your package, you shouldn't have many problems. Even then, as long as you take the steps to protect yourself (TAILS, VPN, burner labtop w/ no hardrive, keep personal computer CLEAN, no drugs at drop), there is very little leo can do without you confessing. You may be arrested, but the less evidence they have, the higher chance the charges will be dismissed very quickly.

Orbot and Orfox for connecting. APG for encryption purposes. I wouldn't recommend using this method just providing the necessary tools if decided you choose to take this route https://reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarketsNoobs/wiki/android
