I like what the BTVA does, that it can work together to do the right thing and make decisions on which market to give its business to, is there a USA version i can join? Ive not seen any mention of it.
Is there a USA Tor Vendors Association?

No offence to "BTVA" but it has around 3 members, mostly who all sell meth,,
He seems to think he had an agreement with several marketplaces that they would "never run away or steal" BTVA members money, and the promise got broken, MANY TIMES!
None of the top UK vendors use this, its a good idea I guess for friends but the majority of posts that you witness from him on here are mere ramblings.
BTVA (a single person) also cannot fathom more than one single person using or owning a vendors account (he does not believe large vendors use teams :S), kind of shows the scale of his personal operation.
tl;dr there is no point, there would be one if it was needed, you get vendors exit scamming, selective scamming, posting fake feedback to discredit other vendors and have constant price wars, good luck with the hippie community when the majority only care about money.

I love the idea of the BTVA aswell and would like to see a USA one
Why don't we have a US Tor Vendors' Association? Take a look at the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. Simple membership in an organization dedicated to selling illicit items like drugs, weapons and stolen IDs and credit cards could get you sent to prison for up to 20 years, not to mention forfeiture actions against everything you own.
You may think that's silly and draconian. So is a life sentence for managing a darknet market forum.
Any vendor who would join a USTVA is either a complete idiot or working with the feds. There's no good reason for an American vendor to get involved in something like this and decades of good reasons why they shouldn't.
