So I posted about how I found 28 bitcoins on a old USB I lost a few years back only had about 300 invested in it all.
I got a lot of opinions and a lot of people asking for money lol.
Here is what I did : I talked with a trusted financially smart friend from out of state.
What we ended up comming to agreement on was keeping 10 bitcoins in my wallet. Taking the Steps to make sure I still have coins if flash drive gets damaged and putting 18 on an exchange to sell, and i figured I would be waiting a month to sell them all but I made about 25 grand so far and have been asking a little over marke Value (. That money's going into a savings account as I get it and I'm not sure how the tax on it will work just yet. But I kept my job, and I still have about 12 more coins to sell. I'm going to first pay off my car With the help of the money, half of it my money other half the profit from coins each month. Not going to do ANY big spends as in this is setting me up to finally get somewhere bigger and better(I had a lot of excitement when I first got it, now I don't want to spend it!) If everything goes well I will have 75+k to put away to assist with moving out/buying girlfriend a ring.
I have 4 grand to spend on personal stash left.
All in all the ride has just begun, but Christmas has came early I feel like. If you lost a drive with coins I highly recommend you fucking find that shit!!
Hopefully next year I can update on how the 10btc I put away are worth 10,000 each!!
