Assuming vendor ship on said date and made it before cut off time? To my knowledge there is basically a 2 or 3 day no matter where you are depending if your in a rural or urban area?
Anyone here always gets their priority mail in 2 days?

Correct, big assumption depending on vendor. Sometimes even the best ones miss the cutoff. I live in a major metro, 90% come in 2. Today will be day 3 for the one I have pending. When I lived in a rural area, it was 50/50 for days 2/3.

I've gotten a Priority pack in two days and another in over a week, both I believe were from the same general region.

In my country priority is a big joke. Even DHL gets late sometimes but priority takes like a week minimum even if its in the same fuckin' city.

Always, and sometimes I'll get it one day if I'm lucky. And If I'm really lucky I'll get first class in 2-3 days .

Partially depends where you live. I live in a major city which is also a 2 day priority zone because of it being a major city, so USPS guarantees 2 days from shipping basically. If you look up "USPS priority zone map" it shows you all of the priority zones in the country, color coded.

What about regular letter mail..what's the max for that, west to east?

It all depends. What you need to do is look at the priority delivery map. I will say that after the holidays I've been getting packs according to USPS priority expectations for my area and the vendors area.

I've had the tracking number say it was at the post office on a Wednesday, but not be in the po box until Saturday.

Depends on the day of the week sometimes. Fastest day to ship from west coast to anywhere is Saturday. As long as it's in the box by 3:30 pm, almost every package will arrive Monday. Packs shipped on Weds. or Thurs. are hit or miss whether they arrive in 2 or 3 days. And there's always the one package out of 100 that disappears into a sorting center and eventually makes it to its destination 5 to 7 days later (falls off conveyor belt??). There are always going to be exceptions to every rule of thumb -- this is the US postal service we're talking about here, cmon.
