I received a police calling card in my mailbox, is my address still safe?

I'm only after weed, and its decriminalised where I live. However, buying/selling is still a criminal offense. Anyway, I received a police calling card in regards to "major fraud" in my mailbox, but it was addressed to the previous tenant of this place (who lived here some 6-8 months ago--great detective work guys). Do you think my mail is being watched? Am I safe to order a 1/4 or 1/2 of weed to this address?

Local PD usually only assist postal inspectors who deal with mail stuff. So its unlikely its about the mail at all. I would just call to inform them that person dosnt live there anymore

I wouldn't worry it has nothing to do with you id order thoes nugs and not worry about it

[-1 Points] DrQuarters_:

How much is one weed? Then we can figure out if it is safe for you to order half of a weed or a quarter of a weed.

But in all seriousness, please use units of measurement. Otherwise, numbers are useless

[1 Points] Theeconomist1:

Well, something to consider, even if addressed to previous tenant, if "major mail fraud" was detected at that address, would/could they still be watching that address? I have no idea either way, just something to consider.

I seem to remember someone else getting a similar card in the mail. Are you in the US? Don't think he ever called or if he did, he didn't report back. And it might have been from USPS rather than local police, can't remember. There was one I do remember that was local police left a card and it ended up being something totally unrelated (an accident he was a witness to or something to that effect). But that one didn't say "major mail fraud."

Anyway, I dunno. I'd be worried the address is still being watched, even if its not for you specifically, you don't want eyes on that shit.

There are also services on the markets to fuck with people by doing something like that, but its probably nothing to worry about

I'd call the number on the card and tell them the person they're trying to contact moved out the better part of a year ago.

Burn the house down and move out of the country

[-7 Points] IMightBeDEA:

You should probably burn that motherfucker down and move to Belize, buy as much dank beach sand as you can, and build a bunker to last through the ages.

In all reality though, you're fine man. There's no reason your mail or address would be flagged due to this. Order, but use caution as always.
