If the US customs seize your package, will your address be on a watch list? Will they intercept all future packages addressed to you? And other questions...

I ordered IPH from a source and the US customs have been "processing" the package for about 6 weeks. A few questions...

Yes, no, maybe, nobody knows.

If the customs decide that my package is illegal, will they put my address on some list so that all of the future intl. packages addressed to me will be searched?

well i gurantee some kind of list with extra scrutiny over the next couple of months but im no FED

wtf is IPH, for science ????

Some very good questions. I happen to know the answers.

When the customs come across a powder that looks like a drug, do they test it to find what it is? Or do they just throw it away? Wondering because IPH is legal in the USA.

If they find a suspect powder upon inspection, especially shipped from China, they test it now because it might be a fentanyl analog. They have on-site labs, but I'm not sure how long testing takes. If they can't identify it presumptively with a reagent test or with a FTIR or Raman fingerprint, they will send it to the lab for chemical analysis. I'd guess they'll do UV fingerprint or LCMS or GCMS and if they fail to identify it then they'd do NMR which will in all likelihood give them the exact or nearly exact molecular structure assuming it is a sufficiently small molecule.

IPH is legal in the USA, but would they let it go through if the vendor explicitly listed IPH as the content? (I'm not sure what he/she declared.)

If it is not scheduled or otherwise prohibited, they should eventually release it to you. Even if it is a fentanyl analog that is currently unscheduled. They might put a surveillance team on you if it is a fentanyl analog however, so they can nail your ass under the analogue act for distribution. I would not seriously worry about any unscheduled non-opioid like in your case.

Yes. /r/CookyDough/comments/5w2nyd/psa_us_customs_keeps_a_record_of_all_seized/

I always wondered if it was your name or your address that got flagged. Could you order to the same name to a different address, or will all packs with your name have extra scrutiny after that?

Had a pack of counterfeit $ intercepted and all mail was delayed I think but it could just be a coincidence

My theory on the list is I don't think one exists. If they did in fact have a list we would definitely hear about it because LE loves to brag. The only time a list exists I think is when they are doing a particular investigation on someone. They use the fact of us asking and wondering if there is a list to deter people.

A lot of people have had orders seized and make future purchases to the same drop without any issues. One thing with this game though its always be safe rather than sorry and on the other hand with risk comes reward. Its a double edge sword. Good luck.
