Old school pre-tor seller just released from prison, ask me anything.

I'm not sure how much interest there will be in this. I was considering making a general AMA about prison thread. I think something like that might take off and I don't want to be committed to making a bunch of replies. I figured I'd keep it to the darknet crowd.

I really doubt there is gonna be anyone that remembers me here. I was the sellers "RarePosy" and "Valuum" on OPR (OnlinePharmacyReview) back in 06-08. My hushmail got posted around a bunch of other forums I never really knew. VickysSecret, undrugged, etc. Anyways I sold cocaine, oxycontin, marijuana, and pretty much any pill I could get my hands on locally. I actually started selling on the site when I was only 17 years old. Because of this I made some costly mistakes that led to my arrest. I'm sure everyone wants to know how I got busted so I'll go into that first:

I sent out a package of cocaine to a guy with express shipping. I had checked the "waive signature" box but they still tried to make him sign for it. Checking that box doesn't always mean USPS is just going to leave the packages. It just means they will leave it if you aren't home. I've had many, many, times where they asked me to sign for express mail packages where the box was checked. Anyways the buyer was one of those guys that thinks not signing for a package is gonna save them from a dopecase. I'm sure someone will dispute me on this now but I just read that history of silk road timeline and other people have been busted without signing for packages too. Anyways they sent the package back to the return address, which was fake. They flagged the package as suspicious and had a drug dog smell it. Despite the vacuum sealing the dog alerted on it. They couldn't figure out who sent it though. They flagged the fake name. Flash forward to something like a year later, I kinda blew up online and was getting quite a few orders every day. Well on one day I had something like 8 orders so I took them to my local post office. A year after my coke package was seized and the name was flagged I accidentally used the same fake name. I'll never forget the name I used, Casey Holland, talk about bad luck! Then to top things off one of the postal employees happened to live across the street from the house I grew up in so she had a vague idea who I was. They didn't arrest me or anything right then but they quickly figured out who I was and raided my families house soon after. The police were huge dicks and purposely tried to question me away from my family. They would flip the fuck out and scream at me when I asked for a lawyer. They told me whatever I do "Do not mention word of your arrest online". Of course I did that as soon as they left. The forums I were on deleted all traces of me and changed addresses.

What might surprise people is that they didn't really do very much investigation on the online aspect of this case at all. They seized my computer and all they ever asked me about were AIM conversations I had with a local friend. They actually gave me the computer back eventually, which was cool. My lawyer set up a meeting with the post master general guy of MI during which I answered a few questions. No, I did not "snitch". This guy was just curious why people use USPS. I told him the whole thing about FedEx and UPS being private companies, blah blah blah. I then told him about vacuum sealing. This was almost ten years ago so they were really ignorant to online drug dealing.

I ended up getting 6 months in county jail + 5 years of probation. I made it about 4 years into probation before I violated and got 6 more months in county. That's 12 months total, and you can only do a year on any case so anymore time meant prison. I violated again and was sentenced to 23 months with 13.5 months credit. In case you were wondering every violation I've ever had was for failing drug tests.

So I was supposed to do something like 10 months in prison, I ended up being denied my first parole which made my time incarcerated more like 2 years. I'm not sure how interested people are in prison but I can get into that if you want.

I don't mean for this post to be an after school special or anything. If you wanna sell dope you're probably gonna make more money and get away with it longer on the DN than locally. Just know that even if you take all the needed tech precautions you can still be busted. After reading the silk road timeline it seems like many of the busts stemmed from post office/real life problems as opposed to some dude forgetting to use pgp.

Anyways feel free to ask questions!

EDIT 1: Felt like adding a new story. This is about the time I met up with an online buyer IRL.

So I was selling cocaine at the time and in my menu I mentioned I shipped from Mid-Michigan. This lady with the username "CharlottesWeb" (or something like that) messaged me saying she was from St. Johns, MI and begged me to deliver her 7gs of coke. I told her to just get express shipping but she kept on begging, she was sending me TONS of messages. She offered me an extra $150 to drive it. I was paying $225 7gs at the time, and selling it online for $450, she offered me $600 to drive it to her. I eventually called her off of a prepaid trac phone. This lady was so fucking weird and nutty it actually made me less paranoid. I thought "There's no way this lady is a cop, she's too goofy". I finally decided to do it, keep in mind I was still in highschool at the time. I convinced my friend to come along for the ride.

We make the drive, which was a bit over an hour away. We're using my buddies GPS and it takes us into the middle of fucking nowhere, I mean BUMFUCK nowhere. Finally the GPS says we're almost there and I see the house. "Dude...that can't be the house". The place was a fucking mansion, with a mansion of a horse barn and a giant immaculate white picket fence surrounding a huge property. I pull in and try to call the lady, no answer. We sat there for 20 minutes calling before I decided to go in. I walk up and ring the door bell. Her husband answers and he has NO FUCKING CLUE who I am. I said "uhhh.... is Charlotte home?" and he says "Why? That's my wife" and there's this big awkward silence. Finally I see this total MILF stumble through a door way. She has a can of busch light and is totally wasted (always thought it was weird she was so rich yet drank busch light). She tells her husband "ohhhh honey, thats a boy, i, uh, i put an ad in the paper for working in the horsebarn WERE GONNA GO TO THE HORSEBARN" and the husband just puts his head down and shuffles away. You could tell he was totally pussy whipped to his trophy wife. I walked past her kids which was weird because I was 17 at the time and they were nearly my age. This lady was about as hot as a 47 year old can be (she told me her age) but she dressed like a teenager in halfway zipped Hollister hoodies, AE jeans, etc. Anyways we both go out to the horse barn and she starts rambling about all the drugs she's done, does bumps of the coke, and kinda hits on me. I'm still sketched the fuck out and ask for payment. Originally I was selling 7gs for $450, she offered me $600 to deliver it. She reaches into her purse and pulls out... a fucking check book. I was like "Hold up, are you serious?" she assured me it was a good check, and she obviously had the wealth to back it. I was still pissed off so she ended up writing me a check for $750 for the 7gs. She wrote it in sharpie marker too which was even worse. It ended up clearing fine though.

She used to send me weird messages like "we should go drink margeritas at the local bar in town" and I'd remind her I was still in highschool. I drove out coke to her a few more times but she was never home, she'd leave the check in a vacant car and I'd do a switch.

I'm not sure how interested people are in prison but I can get into that if you want.

I'm interested! So the entire 12 months you spent behind bars was in a county jail, not prison?

What was it like? Any interesting stories?

One more thing, you can be vague if you want. Was there a lot of media attention surrounding your case and how "big" were you (like how many orders would you say you completed before being caught)?

[15 Points] D15EA5ED:

So you've been away for most of silk road and bitcoins existance. Did you hear about either while in prison? How did you get payments and launder the money before bitcoin?

I was in a similar situation but ended up mostly getting off (only one charge stuck) because at the time silk road and bitcoin where still unkown to LE and I had recently started using them before I got caught reciving cash from a non dark net deal.

[9 Points] None:

So when are you looking at setting up shop again?

[8 Points] OptionalAccountant:

GOD DAMN IT! You told them about vacuum sealing?!? That was our secret!!! Close down shop guys, we're done here.

[6 Points] tuzlyfe:

Aw shit, I've been to prison too man! Albeit under different circumstances but still common grounds. Was it a state DOC facility or a fedhouse? I read down there you were surrounded by GD's, I take it your from the midwest. I did 15 months in Plainfield in Indiana, it was real grimy dog, what kind of sets did you have in your facility, did you stick to yourself or did you find yourself closer and closer to them Aryan boys? What kind of weed did you smoke in there? all we got was brick weed from the mexicans.

P.S. you should really invest in a whizzinator, being on parole given your history.

[6 Points] None:

Are you making the transition back to the outside world ok? Feel free not to answer if that's too personal a question.

[7 Points] ropiatesthrowaway:

Holy fuck!! Someone else from OPR????

The admin there was "Sysop" correct? He/she had a black and white picture of a woman as their avatar. And the forum was a default vbulletin theme/board?

EDIT: did you ever hear what happened to nalbano and eren?

[6 Points] dnmreview666:

Were you able to save any money to make ANY of that time you spent worth it? :(

[5 Points] Theeconomist1:

Did LE go after any of your customers? Or were they more interested in your suppliers? Also, what are you doing with yourself now that you are out? What type of work are you doing now?

[6 Points] None:

Did you learn a lot in prison about DNM etc. Like, was it a school, like they always claim.

[4 Points] stocky8:

How did your parents react considering you were only 17 and living with them? Did you tell them the full story?

[3 Points] MF17:

How did people react when they found out you were selling drugs on the interwebs?

[4 Points] None:

You mentioned your parole officer and how he gave you heat. How was that for you?

I am only curious because while living in Florida with my Father, he was out on parole for drugs and various drunken behavior. He was having me score everything for him and sent me out to his dealers and shit. I was living free and was around 25 at the time so I just went with it.

Anyways, his parole officer would show up at the most worst times. I remember a few times he actually showed up at the house at like 3 or 4 in the morning searching the house and stuff. I had to cover for my Dad a lot.

The thing the parole officer didn't think to do was check the couches, thank god, because my Dad had actually hallowed out his couches and put chests in them where he kept his stashes.

With that being said, his parole officer was really cool with me. He never gave me hard time or questioned me or anything. To be honest, even having to cover for my Dad was agonizing. There were a few times the guy rolled over to the house and my Dad was in his room just fucked up and I'd just tell his parole officer he had to get up early for work and he left it alone. Thank god.

Updated the OP with a story of the time I met a buyer IRL.

[3 Points] Jnew777:

Did they threaten to take your families home during any of this process?

[3 Points] Theeconomist1:

So quick question on how you got busted - how exactly did they tie you with the Casey Holland name? Was it the postal worker who happened to kind of know who you were? Or was it when the name came up flagged during shipping, LE went to that post office and asked questions and the postal worker remembered you shipping that package?

That's interesting b/c like you said, everything I've read in the papers about various busts never mention DNMs. I've commented on that a few times on this sub. Stuff that is almost certainly DNM related never gets mentioned - its only really a package with drugs got caught, looking for the sender. Also, you hit a good point with the "no signing" policy. My feel on it is that signing vs. not signing won't have any impact on your case, in terms of the court proceedings. I agree that a warrant may hinge on this, but if your house is clean and there is nothing else to really tie you to the package, I don't think signing for it will be your downfall. I sign for shit all the time that I have no real clue what it is. But, on the flip side, when you don't sign and actively refuse a package, that is almost a guarantee for the package to be caught by LE. And now you have a package with your name on it containing drugs. That's my thought. Although I've never been in that situation where I was asked for a signature, so maybe I woudln't have the stones to actually do it. But if they catch you at home and ask for a signature, to me its so much more suspicious to refuse it. Anyway, just that and my thoughts. Thanks, am very curious to see the other questions!

[3 Points] stocky8:

We're you still attending high school during this incident? If so what were your peer's reaction?

[3 Points] obsidianchao:

What's the first thing you're gonna do when you're off probation? Also, craziest prison stories involving drugs?

Glad you made it out alright, man.

[3 Points] drugsaregrate:

To what extent do you agree with the statement: "Prison changes you"?

[3 Points] creamynebula:

Thank you so much, your accurate description was quite valuable. I hope as a result people learn that this signing for a package thing is really completely neutral, it means nothing in either direction.

some advice from some one with an extensive criminal history. thats has been to prison 3 times. not to count up all the county time. first of all go check out freedomfromgovernment.us thats a friend of mines website that you will find some awsome information. it may seem farfetched at first but if you keep at it it really all starts making sense. also check out kateofgia.com ok first off never ever for any reason admit to anything even if they catch you red handed. deny deny deny. never take a plea bargain. more than likely the charges they are willing to drop if only you will plead guilty to one or two. the ones they are willing to drop are bogus charges in the first place. just added to the list for the explicit purpose of making it seem like your getting a deal. you are not getting a deal take every thing to trial. because no matter what they say you will not i repeat you will not ever end up doing that maximum sentence they keep threatening you with. i know jail sucks and it seems like a good idea at the time is to just take the deal so you can get out of jail. but trust me that jail time is nothing compared to all the bullshit they try and put you thru once your on probation or parole. they can only keep you in jail for 90 days without getting a conviction or you waive your right to a speedy trial. and remember this a lawyer or attorney their first obligation is to the courts not the defendant. their obligation is to the courts to make sure the courts run smoothly and this goes for a paid attorney to does not matter how much you pay for one. you are always second priority or less. ok now back to not ever serving the maximum sentence. the only way that would ever happen is if there are some seriously extreme and extenuating circumstances. the judge has to go by a sentencing guideline now mind this is only in the states. dont ever believe what the cops, feds, LE,"i am still not sure what LE is but i am pretty sure its law enforcement but im not 100%" but never believe what they say they are the biggest bullshiters there is look up the word coerce its an actual crime to but just look it up and see what it means and who uses coercion the most. and if you are convicted and you end up on probation or parole now this is what i have done i never pay them a penny nothing. because if you even go and set up a payment plan your basicly agreeing that your going to pay these fines and fees and if you pay them even a penny they will come at you for every last cent of it and they go to extremes to get you to pay it. but if you never set up a payment plan and never pay a dime there is not much they can do besides send your bill to collections. and about piss test and drug treatment and what not i just tell them i have no desire whatsoever to quite using drugs not one drop of feeling as tho drugs are a problem in my life. as long as you show up to your appointments at the P.O.s office and if they want to give you a drug test just say there is no reason to because you know its dirty. now sure they will put you in jail for a few days here and there a few times but when they see that your not out committing crimes all day and not a threat to anyone they will start to just leave you alone and eventually get sick of your honesty really now there may be some extreme POs that will try to grind shit into you but there is only so much they can do if your complying with what your stipulations are and trust me. no drug counselor or treatment facility will take you if you tell them you have no desire to quite. because "they cant help you if you dont want to help yourself" there is nothing hard about doing time state, county, or fed time. here in the united states of america its all easy time. well its boring and you cant be a pedo or sex freak then your time may be a little more difficult. or if you have no concept of respect but any way that is how i deal with things stay safe every one there are men with guns in uniforms that try to make you say and do things you dont want to do peace

[3 Points] ShpongleHead:

This was a very interesting read. Thanks for sharing your story, even though it's an unfortunate one. Best of luck towards your future, brother.

[3 Points] None:

" Despite the vacuum sealing the dog alerted on it."

Erm...obviously.

If you touched the vacuum packaging after you touched the drugs without washing your hands, the scent of the drugs will be on the vacuum sealed package.

The scent will be on everything and anything that the drugs have touched.

Have you never had a dog come up and nuzzle your empty pocket neurotically and you remember an hour back you had some gravy bones in it?

[2 Points] Saturnix:

I'm sorry for what you passed and sincerely wish you the best possible future. Thanks for sharing your story.

What is the process of selling on the darknet? Where do you get material to hide "stuff" in? Is it worth it to do it online?
