[Vendor Review]HumboldtFarms Sour OG Review

I am now studying the Sour OG strain for the second time and will attempt a better review and/or doctoral dissertation here for those interested in such things. Due to the fact I am doing this the second time, I am going to try to conduct a more proper, thorough yet sommelier-style review of this fine funkadelic fuzz.

Sour OG is a top-of-the-shelf, Sativa-majority composition strain resulting from the cross of the legendary Sour Diesel with a Kush that was specifically bred and raised for its awesome properties in California. The resultant Sativa-dominant strain is a beautiful sight to see: a very nice and elegant pale green hue with beautiful fibers and bud construction/density ... but a even-more visually intoxicating coating of gorgeous red hairs thoroughly entertwined in the green. This is the type of thing you think about when you think about awesome super-grade dank nugs. The one thing you immediately notice about this is that it's No Joke. You walk into your room, where you somewhere have your stash of Sour OG hidden... and you cannot miss the scent, even though you're hiding the buds and not sitting them out. Really smells like watermelon-or maybe strawberries... very fruity and floral aromas. Like if dank fruit got you high, this is what it would smell like! And it's great... as you taste the scent of this while selecting a bud and ripping it apart , you just like it... Very nice and tempting. The buds are DRENCHED, I mean, thoroughly coated with trichomes and the classicly-termed "crystals" ... just coated like they were sprayed with a spray-can of the goodness. Ripping and tearing up a bud to smoke gets your fingers totally coated with the good stuff... you can feel it for a while, it really sticks! The buds break up into a very tightly-packed pile; that is, these are dense and tightly-constructed buds. You really gotta rip them up nice and they are pretty high on the density chart. Previously I rolled up some Sour OG joints and they smoked amazingly and potently, but this time is all glass. While I might be inclined to say I used to love smoking joints as perhaps my favorite method, now I am older, smarter, and more practical. Good glass not only accentuates the acutal smoke but the experience and atmosphere as well. As for that, I would absolutely love to to take a couple of big and beautiful bong rips with this but I lost all my glass to various friends and "friends" over the years, for now I'm going with the new baby bubbler. Which this stuff seems to have been built for. Bubbler hits are cool, calm, and collected... but man, you need to be careful, this shit will make your head hot. I say again, dat shit make ya head hot! While (preferably cold) water in a pipe like a bubbler helps to both purify the smoke and cool it down, making a hit a lot less harsh and more pleasant, and often therefore larger, this stuff will both creep the fuck up on you and kick you the fuck down if you let it. I have had one or two big big bubbler'rips which instantly let me know I was in big, big trouble... "oh no, I'm stoned!!! I'm stoned now!!" ... but it will also get you good and I mean good when you don't pay attention to your hit concentration and total. You're just chillaxin.. puffin away, and then, OH NO!!! I'M STONED~!!!!!!!!!!!! But not to worry, this is a powerful yet playful bear, a gentle giant that doesn't want to hurt you, it wants to make friends with you and chill with you and let you relax. While you certainly get a good body buzz, having a nice bit of Indica in this strain, it will really relax and dull the pain & amplify your brain ... really great mind-weed that lets you focus on your book , the movie , or the game ... But still lets you crack up and laugh and sing to the music in the car etc. Very strong but not stupid... much more clean and fresh than a lot of other super smokes. I had occasion to previously sample 4 of the Humboldt Farms varietal smokes: Sour OG, Cali Orange Krush, Blue Dream and Strawberry Dream. I did my best to be subjective and object-oriented while retaining a bit of both class and practical discussion... and have came back to try to do a better job describing Sour OG Specifically. I went and bought a new glass piece specifically for this... an amazingly awesome lil' bubbler i got for $28.99... awesome really. While I realize it's not the most fancy nor largest piece on the planet... it's very nice and it has a really banging design.. Just big enough as it needs to be and still be an effective bubbler... and back where I am from (but live somewhere else now) this would be $75 EASY ... The Sour OG in my new "Grass Hopper" is just a treat. I mean a treat. I could seriously be happy if someone said, "We're gonna give you all you can smoke of a weed... but you can only smoke this specific kind, no others..." I'd be happy to take this deal!! Sour OG is no joke, it's super serious medical-marijuana level of botanical tyrannical THC-laden dank nuggets that are as awesome to look at and smell as they are to burn. As always, great people to deal with @ Humboldt Farms make this an easy and awesome choice to make.

Are you sure that the Sour OG wasn't laced with meth?

While this is a nice little book report you wrote here, i think most redditors/ potheads would prefer a 1/4 of the text, a few ratings and pics (fo sho).

anyone read that wall of text?

In my defense, I have to say that it didn't at all look like that wall of text when I hit submit, It was nicely composed with paragraphs etc, I am not sure why it came out like this.

And look, all I can say is , they have been nothing but great to me, and never anything but generous and on time etc. So I am very happy to be their customer, I'm no expert but they've always been great to me.

sorry if the text was too long, I was trying to be thorough.

Jesus Christ talk about wall of text

This is a little sensationalized but otherwise accurate. The smell is very thick and the consistency is great. It's amazingly good product and I haven't heard anyone say otherwise.

Good description of a sativa high. As someone who smokes indica strains 80% of the time (legal state :D), I like to relax, and smoking sativas seems to be a "chore" where I have to sit out the intense high. Main reason I'm not a big fan of strains like Sour D and Jack Herrer. I can just chill and function all day with an indica. Give Girl Scout Cookies a try. It's close to a 50/50 hybrid and the taste is ridiculously sweet and smooth.

How was the sand?

In all seriousness, what's the point of HF reviews? This subreddit has had enough of his bullshit, and there are plenty of solid weed vendors that have no history of being a scammer.
