Helix does exactly what it says it does, breaks the blockchain taint so a transaction can't be followed through the blockchain. Helix gives you new bitcoins ,from a different pool ,that have never been on the darkweb
What user BlockchainAnalyst has "exposed" to everyone
/u/BlockchainAnalyst was able to find his own transaction by using a very rare transaction value and then looking for that transaction value -2.5% fee and also using helix light. He says since you know the fee and the approximate time you can guess where the original bitcoin came from.
- It is a guess, there no proof since the 2 transaction aren't linked on the blockchain.
- This assumes you know the user is using helix
- This only works on helix light since regular helix randomizes transactions, time , and can be sent up to 5 address
- The in theory would work on every tumbler. since you you know the approximate fee and time for all tumblers (although I will say the guess is more accurate with helix light because it is not as randomized)
This is only a guess
- There is no proof since the transaction are in no way connected on the blockchain.
- It is called circumstantial evidence and could never be used against you.
- it only work when using very long amount like he with 0.1216606365
- He basically tagged himself by using that long amount
- Who ever is watching would have to know you are using Helix Light
This is not a new theory
It is pretty well know that if you receive a transaction you can go back through all the older transaction and look for a similar one. Then anyone can claim that the closet transaction that is similar is probably the original sender.
Why did I make Helix light so simple?
When I made helix light I wanted something that was easy to use and did did the job of breaking the blockchhain links. I did that. I wanted to address my concerns I had when using other tumblers. Thinking of these things
- I want to only trust my money in a strangers hands for as little time as possible.
- With all the seizures and exit scams I want my bitcoins back in my hands as soon as possible
- I did not want to have an account linked to me on a tumbler.
- I wanted to know exactly how much was going to come out on the other end. So I wouldn't have to worry if I was going to have enough for the product I was buying
Regular helix has all the features that user BlockchainAnalyst is saying helix should have
- I or my team have never denied that using random transaction and random time was better than not doing that.
- Helix through a Grams account uses random amounts in transactions
- Lets you send up to 5 addresses
- Lets you set a delay of up 24 hours
- Uses random timing in sending the transactions
user BlockchainAnalyst says bitcoinfog and bitblender are better
- Bitcoinfog is constantly either losing users money or stealing it. Check the sub reddit at least once a week there is some on here complaining about losing coins on there
- BitBlending recently got hacked and lost everyone's money.
- Helix has never lost any coins and even when users mess up and send to an expired address, we make sure the right coins get to the right users. Ask around no one has ever lost bitcoin using Grams or Helix *Another reason Helix is better is our support and constant contact. How often do you see reps from bitcoinfog or bitblender on here responding to every inquiry like we do.
What am I going to do to fix this "guessing" situation?
I am going to randomize every transaction at a loss to myself
- I am adding a small random amount to every transaction that goes out from any Helix.
- It will be implemented within 6 hours
- This will make everything /u/BlockchainAnalyst said meaningless from now on.
- the fee will remain the same but you will get a little extra random amount ( a few cents at the most)
I am sorry for all the users out there that didn't know it was possible to guess about transaction based on weird amounts and knowing the fees and knowing the tumbler a user is using.
I hope this will fix everything for you.
You can as always use regular helix to make it as random as you would like.
