Didn't understand until today that it wasn't common knowledge that fentanyl tests actually exist, saw on some post two guys concurring that they do in fact not exist/don't work and had like 10 upvotes.
www.reagent-tests.uk/product/fentanyl-test-strip/
Detects fentanyl at concentrations over 0.1 μg/mL.
These are the test strips I'll be buying bulk of and distributing when the harm reduction platform starts, hopefully in a couple of weeks.
Damn that's a pretty sweet one stop cop shop, got some nice surveillance vans haha

I produce and sell reagent tests. I caution anyone about using tests that purport to differentiate H and fentanyl (and its derivatives.) There have been no new patents filed (at least that I can get my hands on) describing a new colorimetric test capable of discerning between these opioids.
The only functional group that differes between H and fentanyl is a tertiary amide; the only qualitative analytical test that is specific for amides is the ammonia test, where the product is boiled in sodium hydroxide and bubbled through cupric sulfate. That is certainly not what this test is based on.
If I had to guess, this is just the Marquis reagent, which has been around for awhile. Marquis, under circumstances of spectacular purity, reacts differently with fentanyl and heroin (coincidentally exactly the same colors as this test advertises.) But street fentanyl is usually so heavily cut (often with traces of other opioids) that the results are muddy and inconclusive. Please use this carefully.

That's not available to the public and that's acetylfentanyl. Not fentanyl hcl. Stop posting useless links. Did you even read the page? Or were you just really excited to try to prove you know everything and you're right?

This has the same colours as the marquis reagent as far as I can tell. Fentanyl goes orange-brown and heroin goes purple.
