Need to hide a huge stash, is the forest a good idea?

I'll keep it simple. I am sitting on kilo amounts of various substances and it is making me slightly paranoid.......I want to stash it but nobody knows about my Darknet endeavors....So I was thinking of Stashing it all in the woods? Somewhere off the main path in thick vegetation? Get some cheap GPS trackers and split up my stash over several locations? Are there any faults in my plan?

I think that is a good idea. Split it up in three or four locations in the woods and leave it there. On an unrelated note, where do you live and what it the nearest forest to you?

Don't put a tracker on each stash, the last thing you want is for your stash to be broadcasting anything. If you want GPS guidance, carry a single, good handheld GPS unit with you and just write down the precise coordinates at each spot you use.

I think this is a solid idea, but there's a couple things I would be mindful of: first of all, you're gonna want that stuff to be very well-sealed. I wouldn't trust vaccuum bags and/or MBB to hold up for an extended period, and you should do this right so that they'll still be viable in five or even ten years - even if you don't plan on holding them that long, sometimes shit happens. So you want something that seals well, and gives some decent resistance to burrowing critters and the roots of plants. You should still use vac/MBB, but give them some improvements, like caulking the seams with silicone. A good bet would probably be Pelican cases or similar - but I'd still shore up the seals with some silicone caulk (especially the pressure equalizing valve, and I'd run a solid bead around the entire edge immediately before closing the case). You could also probably get by with some knock-off that's much cheaper. If you're not familiar with caulking, practice a couple of times, first - it's easy to fuck it up.

The other thing to watch out for is homeless folks like me. I take a lot of pleasure in the fact that a lot of my "haunts" are spots that essentially no one else goes to, that I use paths and find areas that pretty much nobody but other tramps will ever see. But I'm not alone in that. You might find a spot about which you say to yourself, "man, nobody would ever have a good reason to come over here," and you might be neglecting the fact that there's countless numbers of people who specifically seek out those same kinds of spots. So avoid worn paths and game trails. Definitely avoid bum trails. If you find any litter, get deeper in the bush. You want to think like a bum, and then think unlike a bum. Another group to watch out for is folks who might be trying to do a guerrilla grow of some weed.

Last tip: be mindful of roots and rocks when you dig. And use a pick and/or a mattock. You'll have a way harder time with your hole if you're anywhere near a large tree once you find its roots. And if relevant in your area, also be mindful of Poison Ivy/Oak/Sumac/etc. whose roots contain large amounts of noxious sap.

I don't understand why youd have kilos of something you weren't moving immediately

Please don't get busted while your on your way to hide your drugz...honestly if you keep your mouth shut you should have zero worries...I feel its safest at your house

I would say to make sure you're able to locate the packages without the GPS anyway. Also make sure that your local raccoon family isn't addicted to bars.

It's not a bad idea but you have to make absolutely sure no one is watching you of course. One of my old dealers from way back got busted digging up kilo amounts of heroin, ecstasy & cocaine - he was under surveillance. He got 15 years and is still doing that time.

i would bury your money before the drugs. i suppose if you don't need to be digging up your cache all the time to off load some drugs its one of your best options.

i mean you only have so many options if you live in an apartment.

if you needed to get at your cache more frequently then purchasing gym membership with a fake name and using a locker would also work for small amounts. if you need anything to be safe for a long duration like while your in jail or something defiantly burying it would be ideal.

putting some dog shit on top of the cache maybe a few inches down would deter any drug dogs from revealing.

if your going to do this make for sure your not followed and seal up things extra tight. like seriously google how to bury your money because it will deteriorate quicker than you think.

you don't want this to happen to you.

i have herd of people using a sealed paint bucket filled with cured epoxy resin and your stash before. you don't want to use any metal unless its specifically a stainless steal type of time capsule. just search for do it your self stuff from the hardware store or literally buy a...

time capsule, good for a few hundred years of underground sotrage

Oh, and one other thing - pack your stash with some good dessicant. Big packs of dried silica gel or epsom salts, etc. Nobody likes digging up a stash that's covered in mold and mildew. I'd do some research about how the "prepper" community suggests caching guns, to be honest.

OK, so my first question is going to be are you trolling us?

[1 Points] Bobrosshappytreesman:

Do you have a yard?

Do you do meth?

Tracing ip now I want my drugs

[1 Points] ProveNW:

It's safe. Write down GPS location.

[1 Points] otistoole:

if you bury anything, sprinkle some grass seed on the spot, because otherwise, the spot will stick out like a sore thumb 'something is buried here'.

My HOUSE.....i will take GOOD care of it for you ;-)

dude, stash house. fuck the woods, it gets wet and cold outside. random kids can find it.

Used to seal stuff up, put it all in a five gal. bucket, get crafty with the bucket lid, some hot glue and foliage and sticks and shite, buried it in my backyard. Remove the handle and metal. Mylar if you worried about dogs. Allows for grab and go but also relatively safe stashing.

if you can climb a tree then this is the place.

Search on "PVC cache forest" for lot's of links on how to do what you propose. For example:

In the UK, and probably other countries, geocaching is quite popular. I partake and a few caches I have found are old 50 cal ammo box.

These seem to be quite waterproof, they are definitely sturdy.

Gamma seals and 5 gallon bucket.

[1 Points] Devoid_:

Some asshat geocacher will find your stash with gps. Just bury it somewhere familiar and stop trippin

You can always keep the precise GPS coordinates of your dead drops in plain sight. Like, encode the coordinates into a photo using digital stenography.
