I'm assuming BlackBank is gone and I can't get my coins out of Agora.
Wallet centralization may have improved vendor compliance... but I've literally never been scammed by sellers, even buying blood pressure medication online from a) nebulous pharmacies and b) actually sending MoneyGrams to Mexico to pharmacies that I've been to in person and c) buying them off of Topix. All of this is still ostensibly illegal.
Most of this is due painstaking research and an absolute crazy amount of luck.
I'm sure this is well-trodden ground, but to whom does multi-sig provide tremendous value when you cannot access the transaction?
It isn't accessible in this instance because the transactions themselves were all hosted on and integrated into Black Banks interface. Even still there are ways to recover the coins upon successful transaction. It benefits the vendors when used properly first and foremost, but everybody in the end. As it eliminates a central, single escrow system used by oh so many markets that inevitably become so large that it's all they can do to not rob the place blind but.... Scam and fucking rob the place blind, because they alone will not have access to insane amounts of coins
