With interways popping up I had a thought. Even if they had the same PGP key they could be LE running the OP under the respected guise of Interways. Just a thought, not an accusation.
[CommunityDiscussion] When old vendors resurrect, how are we supposed to know if they're safe to order from?

Somebody needs to order from them and find out if they're honeydicking. There's no other way. I think they let Nod on Silk Road continue to ship out orders and he became an informant.

When a vendor goes into vacatio mode, its usually to stock-take because he thinks he's about to sell out and doesn't want to sell something he hasn't got.
This is te opposite of a scammer who NEVER runs out of stock.Their entire inventory is fictitious.
Ask for a live dodo and they'll do you a custom listing.
Also, remember that vendors are breaking the law, but scammers aren't. Vendors sometimes have tinfoil moments too, you know.

Was wondering the same thing...didn't Festigear disappear round the same time as Interways(his supplier)? or about a month after or so? All seems sketchy.

Semi relevant but I figure I would mention it. BonnieNClyde on AG and Evo went MIA for close to two weeks and everyone thought exit scam. They just returned a day or two ago and refunded and apologized and said down time was due to a broken hard drive.
Now this is where shit gets tin-foily - they came back with a new PGP key and delisted everything and only list bulk now. In addition to this, they now have bulk (QP) listings of cannabis which they have never done before (formerly a steroids only vendor.)
Thoughts?

I just had a similar thought about HoS, what with the constant vacations, switch to bulk, and lowered prices?

Yeah this is what I've wondered too. One vendor I used disappeared for a month or so. Initially said they had an "emergency" and would be gone a week. Nothing. Reappeared a month later. They're still around but their product changed so I assume that maybe they just lost their connect or something. They were a small vendor. I used them when they were brand new. Great service though. I was disappointed to see them go.
I guess I just play it safe and hold back whenever there is an unexplained absence. I agree that keeping the same PGP key isn't a guarantee of anything. They could be cooperating with LE. LE could have gotten their passwords. You never know.
What do you generally do?
