Sent package to friend, got this notice when I checked tracking..

This isn't directly connected to a market per-say, but I know this is the best most knowledgeable place to post this to. Sent a special very stealth package to a friend thru usps that I really don't believe could have been busted. Yesterday, got a note on the tracking saying "Undeliverable as Addressed". I then checked back the next day because these things happen all the time. I was then hit with this note on the tracking page.

"We attempted to deliver your item at ----- on ------ in ----- and a notice was left because an authorized recipient was not available. You may arrange redelivery by visiting http://www.usps.com/redelivery or calling 800-ASK-USPS, or may pick up the item at the Post Office indicated on the notice. If this item is unclaimed after 15 days then it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later"

This is a very time sensitive package. Do you think it is okay to fill out the redelivery form? Or can the person just pick it up..

Any and all input here with be extremely appreciated. Thank you.

Legit name of addressee or made up?

[3 Points] None:

You sent it via a method that requires signing. There was no one there to sign or it was an apt and the post carrier decided to be lazy. Not an issue if actual name of addressee was included. They can pick up the next day.

did you vacuum seal it at all?

Why did you bother with tracking and a signature? Would have avoided all of this if you sent regular post.

It's better to fill out rede livery IMO because other wise you will need to sign and show id
