Anyone had to take pictures of their driver's license to verify their circle account?

Is this safe, just nailing the coffin in for proving it's you? And I'm wondering if tumbling to agora is still necessary, because agora already has a built-in tumbler.

If they feel you're suspicious, they've been known to ask for photo ID, plus a picture of the ID with you holding it, showing your face. No joke. It's not ostensibly for LE purposes, it's just that they are susceptible to a shit-load of fraud, and they're trying to protect themselves.

Sometimes, if they think you're a scammer, they'll just leave your accounts (CC and/or bank) in limbo, perpetually "pending", until you contact them. Without ever telling you to do so. This is a shitty way to do business.

IMO Coinbase is probably the superior service at this point.

I signed up for Circle a few months ago, provided ID and proof of address and still have not been approved. Gave up. Still using coinbase and local bitcoins.
