this was geared towards that guy, but the bastard deleted before I could post!

I'm not necessarily saying you are a liar, I just don't believe the majority of your story actually happened. I think you were in a bad state of mind, did some drugs, said some things you shouldn't have and got yourself put in a psych ward. while in the psych ward, you continued saying things you shouldn't have, and when you behave like this in the midst of a 5150, you're guaranteeing you will be held for the max (which is 2 weeks I think). they dope'd you up (IV benzos, maybe antipsychotics) so you'd stop acting a fool (again, another completely normal practice), and that, in conjunction with withdrawling/coming down from whatever the hell you were on produced some vivid dreams. you ever smoked weed for a long time, then didn't for a couple days? yeah, REM rebound occurs, and with that comes insanely vivid, lifelike dreams. personally I kinda enjoy it, it's like a custom feature length movie everytime I go to bed. and it always feels so real.

how do you know you lost your phone, and then somehow managed to buy a completely identical copy while locked up? is there any proof whatsoever for this? a receipt, literally ANYTHING to corroborate your phone being replaced? seems more likely they took it away and returned it upon leaving.

I had a friend who sold psys, weed, MDMA, etc who did essentially the same thing you did. some mutual friends called the cops cause he kept saying he was gonna kill himself. in this situation the cops weren't out to get him, but upon arriving to his house and 5150'ing him, they also took away all his drugs and paraphenalia. never charged him with anything though. it would be pretty irresponsible of the police to get a call about some kid losing his shit, make a visit, realize the kid's out of his mind, whisk him off to to the looney bin, yet leave all his drugs so the exact same scenario would repeat itself when he gets back. police departments get sued over that kinda shit all the time. also, this guy ended up spending 2 weeks in there too, cause he kept saying he was the messiah and he could kill himself and would come back to life, etc. so its not all that uncommon.

as for the cash...you're placing an awful lot of trust in your roommates. I assume they must have had some knowledge of your shenanigans. if the responding officers didn't pocket your cash, your roommates had a nice amount of time to go treasure hunting while you were away. furthermore, you said your room was ransacked. would it be that farfetched for a SINGLE piece of paper to get lost in the midst of that?

lastly, I find it suspicious your roommate would 'find' a 'note' where you wrote something about life not being worth living...where were you leaving these notes? in your room? if thats the case, your roommate would have had to go into your room (without your knowledge) to find them, and then proceed to call the cops. that doesnt make any sense to me. plus, who just writes suicidal messgaes on pieces of paper for their own personal use? and if that was what happened, how do you know your roommate wouldn't go back into your room and take your cash later? it seems more likely that you texted/said somehting to someone about how you were going to kill yourself but are ashamed to admit it. behaviors like that have histrionic drama queen written all over them. people who act like that are excessively emotionally driven, I wouldn't be surprised if you doxx'd yourself to the nurses or something.

apologies for syntax or spelling errors I have been awake for far too long. just wanted to post this before I GHB myself retarded and drool all over my pillow.
