Pack has been at post office for 3 full buisness days

I know this belongs in the paranoia section but no one has answered. I have a pack that seems to be stuck a mile from my house at the post office. If it has been compromised wouldnt the tracking say something about inspection or some shit? Why else would it just be sitting at the post office? Did someone drop it or take it by chance? Im a little nervous.

Probably the cops discussing strategy with the postal inspector on how to do the CD. Or you know...just regular USPS fuckery. Your package is probably being used as a door stop by the AC repair man.

It's just the USPS being the USPS. A clearnet package of mine has been stuck in San Francisco for the past week according to the USPS, despite the fact that it's actually sitting on the table in front of me, a couple thousand miles away. A good rule of thumb is the more "upgraded" the service (ie EMS, Registered, etc), the more accurate and up to date the tracking will be. For the economy class shipping options it's basically maybe they might update it if they feel like it and and maybe they won't.

Just go pick it up lol

I've got a FedEx pack from Amazon whose tracking says it's been sitting in a hub in TN for six months. Amazon sent me another but I'm hoping they find it some day and send it to me.

If they were going to CD you, you wouldn't know it from tracking. A love letter might be a different story.

look for my post...currently in the same boat.

USPS is hit and miss - I ordered workout supplements on the clearnet, 4-5 day shipping - after it was marked shipped, it took 12 days, it got stuck at a hub pretty damn close to 10 days - I believe I've had a dnm order I made after the supplement order come in before the supplement delivery.

I also had an overnight express (important legal documents) take 7 days! At least they refunded the overnight express postage. If it's personal use amounts, I wouldn't worry - Most police forces won't waste the resources on what accounts to small time street buys.

They may watch you, and any package sent to your address may be scrutinized, but I doubt they'll bother over a gram of coke/meth, or an ounce of weed. They'd most likely confiscate it and send you a letter, maybe stop by to have a "chat" - just deny any knowledge of anything, and evoke the 5th amendment if they get pushy/manipulative - Even in a totally legal encounter with a cop, it is best to give them the least amount of information as possible - if they think they can charge you with something by what you say, they will, even if it's a case any prosecutor wouldn't touch.

Now, most bad CD arrests seem to be MDMA related from the Netherlands. You also do not want to get caught with a sheet of LSD - the laws are ridiculous. At least LSD is easy to decoy, but make sure to follow rule #1 - DO NOT TELL ANYONE WHERE YOU GET YOUR DRUGS - let them find the DNMs on their own.

Stick to personal amounts, and order domestic, your risk factor is pretty low - local PD are waaaaay behind with the increase of DNMs, and I doubt the dea/fbi will kick down your door for a measly gram.

Now, if you are a vendor, especially one who sells to re-sellers, your opsec better be top gear, and remember not to get too greedy - in this business, you either retire, or you go to jail - and for a long time in the US. You have to be paranoid and utilize as many techniques to keep you as safe as possible : Other people will always be your downfall, the less everyone knows, the best. And no matter what, in any situation with LEO DO NOT SAY ANYTHING other then evoking your 5th amendment right. Cops won't help you, they have no real say in your prosecution - the less they have, the higher chance there will be no indictment.

But I highly doubt you will have any LEO trouble. The USPS is prone to human mistake - packages get put into the wrong bins, postal workers will make mistakes - that local hub may be overwhelmed and it's easy to misplace a bin of outgoing mail when under pressure - maybe it's out to your local post office allready, but wasn't scanned - I had a delivery arrive on the same day it said it was still at the local hub.

I ordered something off ebay once spent a good 30$ on a single trading card. Saod ot ws delivered , never showed up at my door. Post office said nothing amd did nothing about it. Pretty sure the mailman stole it.

Lost

Don't go pick it up. And don't track that shit online. And just wait for it, either the package will be delivered to your door step or it will not. If it's just a gram of powder then no one will conduct a CD, if it got intercepted, you will get a letter later on and that's it.
