Priority Express

Hey all, do priority express letters show up earlier in the day than the rest of the mail that comes with the average USPS truck?

Yea I had an express come way earlier dnm related had me made me happy shocked me when my mailman came later that day but by then I was high as a kite:p

Ive had it both ways... but it's almost always delivered by a seperate person then the mailman in ym city.

Dude has come in a mini van, on foot even, either before or after the mail man.

I've got my regular mailguy who brings all my mail together whether I have xpresspost priority or not. I've personally always had any xpresspost or xpress priority show up with all my other mail. This is in Canada though and all my mail is always delivered by canadapost

I've talked to our express mail lady, she's a contractor for usps and only does the express deliveries, in a car with a magnetic sign on it noting she's delivering mail.

In our town they always come way before our regular mail. Definitely separate though and an odd vehicle..so nothing to get too sketched about if you know.

90% of the time in my experience Priority Express comes from a totally separate postal worker than your regular courier.

From what I've gathered, they basically send someone out from the office in their personal vehicle to get it to you ASAP.

I feel kinda guilty sometimes because they're probably thinking, "Wow it feels good to be able to deliver these important business documents to this upstanding young gentleman who looks like a clean cut professional. I love my job!"

Me: "GTFO SO I CAN SNORT MY DRUGS!" SNIFFFFFFF

addendum: Most vendors should waive the required signature, but I always get this lady who insists that I sign for my package "Just in case--ya never know, I always like to have my bases covered." At first, that threw me off and I was like wtf, but it's her job and I can respect the fact that she's trying to protect herself from bureaucratic bullshit down the line. After a quick look up & down the street and the realization that if they really wanted me, I'm going down anyway, so I say what the hell and signed. I sign every time for that lady now with no issues.

Depends. Depends on when your regular mail comes and depends on the express guarantee.

What is for sure is that express is delivered independently from regular mail

Regular mail comes at different times in different spots. Regular mail, where I live now, is around 2. Depends on the load though. Express is guarantee by 3, but usually comes by noon. Again depends on where express is travelling from.

However if I order to my po box, i have regular mail by 830am. Express is still around noon.

Again, however, regular mail in some hoods lands at the beginning of the day, like 830/900.
