PO box -- Defense before the law?

So I've decided I need to get a PO box to prevent fellow residents from opening my mail.

Something seriously bothers me, though..

When ordering home, I feel totally safe, because plausible deniability bitch, but with a PO box, all my plausible deniability disintegrates.

So assuming I do end up going to court for this shit...

What could my lawyer possibly argue?

Besides..

"uhh.. vendor dude must have made an address typo"

or

"my client has an arch enemy that I can't name that decided it would be smart to order some drugs to him to get him busted. Not sure how he got the PO box address tho..."

There literally is no sitting there and denying it. Chances are they're going to bring it before court and you'll have to come up with a plea deal or yeah. Best of luck.

Seems the same as a house. Say you checked myusps for an amazon order but noticed a different package being sent to your box so you just went to check it out. Just because you picked it up doesn't mean that's proof you 1) knew what was in the package or 2) that you actually ordered the package. If you're sketched out then when you pick it up write "return to sender" on the box and let it sit in your house a few days before opening it. Should someone come just say "I don't know what it is but I was planning on sending it back".

Isn't that the same as denying you knew a pack was coming to your house?
