Suspicions about the package i received/ effect on address

First of all there is a lot of hand writing on the package.

It looks like two forever stamps were used as postage and were insufficient. there is a line drawn from the stamps and something written where all i can make out is the word stamps

The usps then noted the sender moved over 20 years ago.

then they wrote the correct price of shipping, send to my address, then "so charge this guy" pointing to me.

Is there any reason to worry about the increased scrutiny this probably received

edit/ is the address burnt either way?

/edit ill disclose the name after i open the package tom and determine if it was opened and further communication with vendor

Name and shame the vendor here, dawg. That's some terrible bullshit.

This is atrocious on so many different levels. You dodged a bullet. I imagine your address is fine. You got your pack at the end of the day, but you got lucky. My guess is that they did a RTS. Fortunately for you, the person at that end of the addy didn't open it and prob told the mailman that those people were no longer there. It was probably almost stupid luck that the vendor didn't use the current occupants otherwise they prob would have opened it. Because the mail service wants to get mail to the recipient and not have it go dead letter, they decided that since RTS was not an option, to go ahead and forward to you and make you pay. How much longer did the pack take to get to you?

Your addy should be fine but this is extremely sloppy. The lack of postage should never happen. There is no excuse for that. You got extraordinarly lucky that you paid 76 cents instead of getting a knock. Wow. Please do tell who sent this!

Happened to me from a well known vendor, I won't name names but he didn't put enough postage or it weighed to much for first class mail and my mailman made me pay $.76 cents to get my package... I know it seems sketchy its just a honest mistake. Addy is not burnt, just USPS making sure they get their money one way or the other.

Could you post a pic? Obviously black out your name/address.

[2 Points] cryptocreepo:

Probably an honest mistake, but it does attract unwanted attention:-(

Dude who the fuck is the vendor wow.

If there were no love letters and the police haven't slammed down your door, I'd say your address is safe. The vendor's name needs to be told here, by doing so, you're helping others out by avoiding a joke vendor, saving their asses from jail / burnt addresses.

[2 Points] None:

So let me get this straight this guy almost had le balls deep in your arse. You chose to write a big post about how there is a amateur vendor doing dangerous shit and you wont post vendor name.Your a moron spreading fud.

[1 Points] CandyKoloredKlown:

This is EXACTLY the kind of attention a buyer absolutely doesn't need and a few of these are MAJOR red flags to a postal worker, even moreso to those taught to look for signs of packages containing drugs.

I'm glad you're okay with 15% your order, but you're doing a disservice to the community by protecting the identity of a sloppy vender who didn't care if you went to jail.

This is bullshit, no way usps has records from that long ago... Totally exaggerated a minor thing... Again PUT THE METH PIPE DOWN
