MDMA recommendations...white vs. brown...safrole vs. PMK

I have seen many posts about the debate between different forms of MDMA powder and crystal and I am completely confused. Just from my own research I figured the top of the heap with this stuff would be Tessellated's seeing the lab reports and also peoples feedbacks. Crazy thing is 7 out of 10 people here didn't like it? They preferred the local brown stuff. Now I really liked Tessellated's myself it was a nice roll and its so clean the next day you don't feel like you did anything the night before. Also I noticed I could eat on it where I never considered food when rolling. So this has me thinking the most likely issue here is people who do too much MDMA don't feel it anymore and probably only feel some other stuff that's in the brown that isn't MDMA. Does anyone have anything to add to this? I would love to get schooled a bit. Also considering that's what people want what vendors are people using along those lines? I see way more white then I do brown when I look around and don't even know where to start.

in my city every wants the brown. they pay 80-100$ all day long for a gram of it. everyone calls it sassafrass molly in my town, fucking idiots.

PMK is usually made from safrole. Its the cheapest and most readily available precursor. There are a few other options, but everyone that I know of is a lot more expensive. Color of a drug as an indicator of qualiity is about as consistent as rating a human being by color. The rule is, lighter the skin tone generally the better the quality, but not always. I suggest buying from people that are white if you have the chance.

usally colour does not matter to much what you want to see are the crystals

Late reply, but here's the chemistry:

PMK (a.k.a. MDP2P a.k.a piperonyl methyl ketone) refers to a direct precursor to MDMA, and is to MDMA as P2P is to meth. Most clandestine MDMA syntheses rely on some route to PMK, followed by one of a few standard procedures for reductive amination to MDMA.

Safrole (a.k.a. phenylpropene) is a direct precursor to PMK, often by a relatively straightforward Wacker oxidation. There are some other uncommon routes to MDMA from safrole (e.g. through 2-methylamino 1-mercuric salt), but my guess is that the majority of current production uses a PMK intermediate.

Thus, "safrole vs PMK" really makes no sense, since safrole is a precursor to PMK. At best, a vendor saying their MDMA comes from PMK means that they bought it directly from some Chinese chemical supplier rather than synthesizing it themselves.

Side note: pure MDMA salt (e.g. MDMA.HCl) is always white, any coloration is some kind of impurity. There can just as easily be white impurities though, so a white powder also doesn't indicate a pure product – you really need to use analytical methods like GC/MS to be sure.

As for the 84% maximum purity myth, please read http://www.reddit.com/r/Drugs/comments/xihdo/rdrugs_ama_series_mdma_aka_ecstasy_e_x_molly/c5moa3i

What are you talking about? MDMA can be 99% pure and still be brown, or purple for that matter. It being brown just means the chemist hasn't ran it through a few acetone washes (IIRC).

colour is not an indication of purity, ever.

I'm not sure why your title says 'Safrole vs PMK'. If you don't know what both of them are, you shouldn't be taking MDMA.
