dark.fail: A new link uptime checker because I got annoyed with DNStats

Hello.

I just launched dark.fail (darkfailllnkf4vf.onion) because I got annoyed with the amount of javascript and lack of current links on DNStats.net.

I have always been interested in launching a darknet related project so this is an exciting day for me. I welcome your feedback and ideas but I want to keep it very simple.

My commitments to you:

Working on launching a .onion mirror within a day or so.

I hope to eventually be the comprehensive list of everything online on the darknet. See you on the road ahead. Shouts fellow psychonauts.

Edit: added onion mirror.

I like your simple design. Online links in black and offline links in gray. I find dnstats to be outdated and disorganized.

Can we get any non-sensitive info on your background?

This is fantastic by the way. The more resources and options we have available to us the better.

dnstats works both with and without JS. But regardless, the more legitimate sources of information the better. And dnstats does seem to lack a bit with updated and current links, especially when it is rare for the main URL's of any market to be working with all the ddosing going on. Good luck with your project!

I was about to light you up for having a tor2web style link but then I tried to visit one of them. Never seen onion.help before, very neat idea.

Great work. 👍🏻
