I added coins to my account on the September 17th. I used the right btc address, onion address, yadayada. After a couple of days of patiently waiting and a few hundred confirmations, I finally decided to contact support. I got a friendly response asking for the details of the transaction and all that fun stuff. I provided everything accurately, and the next day I got this response:
"Address *********** found. Belongs to user ***** and address has database ID ******* Yo again bud! Great news for you! I found your transaction in our system, so i am escalating you to a higher member stuff now. They will re-check all info and hope fill up your account with stucked funds. So wait response from highest Support, please. It can be take less 1 or 2 days. "
Sounds great right? I'm finally getting my coins! Nope. Five days later, I was going to send another response on my ticket, but I couldn't. I noticed the ticket got closed by 'Admin'. I still haven't had my coins added, so I opened another ticket providing the other ticket # and explained what happened. The guy basically told me that he can't do anything about it.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? Are my coins long gone? It was only $50, but it would be nice to get them back.
UPDATE (also in thread):
Alphabay pretty much stole my coins. I tried contacting Trappy, but he wasn't much help at all. I made another unsuccessful support ticket today. Disc0 said that the address wasn't even a valid AB deposit address. I find this funny, because the first guy from the first ticket I made said he was able to find the transaction in their system. I explained that to Disc0 and he tried to say that I got phished. I know for a fact I didn't get phished because I've used the same link (saved on my computer) for several months and have made lots and lots of successful purchases. Alphabay's support team is absolutely horrible. That's the only excuse for this I can think of, unless the support team likes to selectively take coins for themselves.
