Any point to adding another Mushroom vendor?

Over the past few months, I've rekindled my interest in psychedelics, so much so that I began growing my own mushrooms. I'm not an expert in mycology (not even close to Stamets, et al.), but I know enough to understand different growth/fruiting methods, which strains thrive in given spawn, etc. So far three strains in the Psilocybe genus have responded with very positive yields in my care, with very respectful attention given to their ecosystem and handling.

I didn't grow because I wanted to sell them, rather I am fascinated by the science behind it all. At any rate, I'm looking at a major surplus that will guarantee my research into the effects of Psilocybin/Psilocin from a personal vantage for some time to come. To be honest, I was zealous and became so fascinated with the first stages of growth that the fruiting became a secondary benefit.

Cutting to the chase, with the continual surplus that I can accommodate, would it be proper to start vending them on the DNM? Some questions that I've considered:

I invite your opinions on the matter and look forward to reading any feedback in making this decision.

There are never too many vendor for anything. The more selection the better. Hope to be able to try some in the near future :).

I think if you could price zips at 90$ or so, you would have the lowest prices thatbive seen, and if they are truly good, you should pull some business. Work on getting your opsec on point and probably need to start off with free samples(say 2 grams for shipping cost etc), then you should be good to go and start your come up

There's no such thing as too many shrooms

If the price is right there is always room for another vendor. If you price alongside the rest of the vendors, then there is no more room for you.

Place orders from other Mushroom vendors, watch their shipping time and processing time, notice the stealth, and how the postage is paid for, read around about vending on here on on Deepdotweb.com.

But number 1 thing. Don't ever put your customers at risk. This is the number 1 thing that will ruin you. You get a mediocre feedback saying "stealth needs work." Speaking for myself, I'll buy from someone $10 or $20 more to make sure I dont get my door kicked in.

Look at the other vendors out there, strongly consider ordering from them to get an idea of the level of stealth and service people are going to compare you to.

Look at the market, what niche isn't being filled? Is it novel products like ground mushrooms, teas? Is it novel species? Is it small personal amounts? Is it bulk? Is it growing kits?

As a DNM customer, it's advantageous to me to just say lower your prices, but you won't be in it for the long haul if you're making $8/hour while risking prison.

Think about whether you want to spend your time on a lot of small orders or a few large orders. Small orders have a higher per-unit profit, large orders have the convenience of fewer packages to send out.

Grind them up and sell that too and i'll buy

If you offer competitive prices and good service then you will most definitely have room on any market.

OH and variety. For the sake of God, I'm tired of seeing "Psilocybe cubensis."

Lets get some Psilocybe azurescens or Psilocybe zapotecorum.. I want new and exotic toppings for my pizza.

if you're worried about not having business just sell them cheaper than everyone else. if you sell them for really cheap (under $80 an ounce) you would have a lot of business.

Dude, I think you could go far if they are fresh morel or chanterelle. Even so beletes, yknow.

[1 Points] Trappy_Pandora:

If you have $100, you should sell on /r/alphabay

[1 Points] BlankBlapperson:

Sure there is room for more shroom dealers, as long as prices are competitive. =

Also if you grow, id highly recommend growing the azurescens(https://www.mushroomprints.com/products-page/exotics/azurescens-seaside-syringe/) mushrooms. As they are the most potent in the world, and its only like 20-25$ for spores. So why not start with the best? =)

I personally think it's silly growing your own when you can pick them...for a couple of months a year you can pick hundreds of times more than you could ever hope to grow...

Liberty Caps are stronger than the others and they grow in abundance for a couple of months a year...how long would it take you to grow 5,000 or 10,000 mushrooms at home?!

Then you can dry them and store them for the rest of the year...seems sensible to me, the season starts in a few months...probably sooner than it would take you to harvest your first crop if you try to grow them yourself.
