What up my GlipGlops? Grand Trunk here and we got updates.

Check us out at http://grandmpdsznzevvs.onion

It would seem that while other markets receive staggered and intermittent updates that we are still chugging along. That's to say while you were away we were hard at work.

We have added a lot of improvements to the existing experience. And I am really excited to share our progress with you all.

The site has added a new link for vendors on the top of the page labeled, my followers. Inside of this link as a vendor you may create either and newsletter or update. A newsletter is when public is unchecked, and it is only sent to your followers and supports markdown. An update is put on your profile page for all to see. With either of these options they will not appear until they are published. This way you can keep your customers abreast of any current developments. And with newsletters and the ability to embed images you can create fantastic markets messages for your customers.

Additionally, note these highlights.

  1. Messages sent between users can now be encrypted on send by checking the encryption checkbox.
  2. you can also download messages, and orders to a csv to easily manage them.
  3. The server is stable and has not had any downtime since our launch a month ago.
  4. We set up some forums over at http://iipgngvrv7nu4bkk.onion for your convenience

I encourage you to take off your shoes and take a look around. You might like what you see.

Cheers, The Grand Trunk team

PS. We are always looking for feedback about the site, if you have suggestions or concerns please voice them.

I may be off base here, but from a security standpoint, aren't your first two highlights liabilities? I'd be wary about encrypting anywhere upstream from my local machine. Also not sure I'd trust a third party to encrypt for me. My second concern relates to vendors keeping CSVs of messages, addresses, names, etc. on their machines.

Like I said, I may be off base here - if so, please do clarify. But given those concerns, I would never think about using this site.

With all due respect, can you tell me why I should use a market that can't even be bothered to proofread their market announcement?

I wish more sites allowed vendors to download messages and orders. It would reduce the amount of time vendors spend on the site.
