Hello! Doing some research on secure communication software.
Jitsi using OTR (Off the record encryption) seems to be legit, though with ease of use in mind, xmpp chat software I find still leaves much to be desired.
Another one is Tox.im which is beta and claims to have the same benefits as OTR, except encryption is by default. It is open source as it should be, any thoughts on their implementation on crypto?
Last but not least, I'm looking into Kim Dotcom's MegaChat, which I've yet to test, but also claims to be end to end encrypted. Not clear if megachat is open source. Either way, any thoughts on their security?
What software do you use to communicate, and are there any that implement voice over IP and video calling? Thanks!
I recommend Wickr as it has a mobile and desktop client. Give it a shot.
