Why doesn't TMP's refund system work for me?

I'm about to lose 0.24 btc (maybe for you thats not much but as a student this is a fortune for me) because the tmp electrum plugin doesn't accept the privatekey that is 100% correct(I checked with bitadress.org, the private key matches with the public key that is in ma transaction text) when I try to refund.

Im fucking frustrated by now, spending more than 8 hours figuring out what might be wrong, can any1 give me a little hand with this one?

Are you using the newest version of the plugin? Did you generate a compressed key or an uncompressed key? Do you happen to have bitcoin-qt installed already and could try that? Are you willing to try a third party site to try and sign/broadcast?

I am in the exact same boat at the moment ... took me a while to get the TMP Electrum Plugin working, but it doesn't accept the private key when I try to refund. I have the latest version of the plugin from the TMP refund page but I do not have bitcoin-qt installed ... can someone please help me out, I feel like I'm losing my mind banging my head against a wall these past two days trying to figure all this out, so if someone could help me out that would be great.

Thanks

I am in this exact boat, Electrum plugin doesn't accept the private key and I'm really frustrated with the process at this point because I can't login via TOR and I2P is very unstable, I managed to connect once last night out of probably 100 attempts ... so even getting on to troubleshoot some of the suggestions here is virtually impossible ... I just want to get my BTC back!
