Hello everyone, I'm The Governor-General and what a wild few weeks we have had. I and a few others are currently working on a project (yet to be named) intended on being an Australian based market (not hosted domestically) which would primarily act as a market for domestic vendors to trade with-in a smaller market with staff that are familiar with how Australian's deal with transactions on the Darknet. Which in short, is a headache.
It is still in the concept stage and welcome to recommendations. We will be allowing international vendors to sign up as-well, but they will only be able to exclusively ship to Australia. The theory behind this is we will be able to build network of trust, only honest international vendors would be bothered to get involved with our community.
We want to protect the Australian consumer from constant selective scams, including vendors who get scammed by buyers because international markets don't understand how our countries customs work.
It will be at least a month before we go live, but we are striving to have all the bells and whistles that Evolution had. Further information on the features of the market will be shared in the following weeks as we agree upon the best way to proceed.
I look forward to speaking and doing business with you all the in future. I will be checking in periodically as we're quite busy as you can imagine putting this together.
We still need a name for our little marketplace, brainstorm among yourselves. AusPost Network is my favourite so far, though its not extremely catchy or CommonwealthMarkets recommended by one of my fellow colleagues. As you can tell, we do coding not marketing.
For a little motivation boost on the idea of believing in my dedicated team, may I quote Russel Crowe.
I like villains because there's something so attractive about a committed person -- they have a plan, an ideology, no matter how twisted. They're motivated.
Hooroo, The Governor-General.
Why not keep it simple? Ausmart?
