I seriously just got grilled buying a libertyx pin :(

I went to my usual spot and asked for $200. It was a different lady than I've ever dealt with and she was flabbergasted. She kept asking me if I was buying it as a present, who I was buying it for, and told me there's a guy that comes and buys them in bulk and was I buying it for him? It was so bizarre. She told me I was the first girl she's ever seen buy one.

For reference, I'm a young, attractive, affluent looking female so I kind of get it, but it was so uncomfortable because I didn't want to answer any of these questions. I wonder if there are any other girls on this sub and do you guys feel like it's harder to stay anonymous? That lady will for sure remember me.

Well I'm a young, attractive, affluent looking male

I already checked guys, nothing in her submission history haha

Anyways, even if they profile you, you're doing nothing illegal, she's just being rude. Though, the only women I know that buy btc are escorts that need it for backpage payments. However, there's a million (legal) reasons why anyone would buy BTC, so it really shouldn't be her business.

I have a funny story about libx. I took my girlfriend in my usual spot to buy the other half of what I needed for my order and the cashier was like, "oh, you're the first girl to ever buy any bitcoin. We should take your picture and frame it on our hall of fame."

We both laughed and noped out of there with the coin hahaha.

They recently asked me my phone number as well which I know isn't part of the process.

Trying to buy LibertyX was a hassle. I found a place in a shitty neighborhood that LibX said was a provider, I show up ask for a qpay pin and the Indians begin to grill me about what is it, what its used for blah blah blah. They said that they are new shop owners and don't carry this "coopay", but have had others asking too.

After that I decided to scrap the idea and just went for Circle.

[5 Points] throwawayk5zq47j6wd3:

I'm not anonymous, I go in to a phone retailer store in the mexican part of town and spend hundreds a week on libertyx and gained a nice relationship with the guy who's always there.

I just say that I'm investing in bitcoin and he just prints me pins, they do charge a $5 dollar fee which they're not sussposed to do but whatever.

the guy at my liberty x doesn't understand what it is and is just curious because "why do people keep buying that thing what even is it?"

Pics or it didn't happen. LOL, I jest of course. But I am a fan of attractive females. Affluent is optional.

EDIT: You are definitely quite intriguing based on your posting history!

[2 Points] beatthemarket:

I have read this exact story before. Do you just repost this every time you want attention or what's the deal?

[2 Points] CandyKoloredKlown:

I actually came to the markets because of this, dealers were just sketchy as shit around here.

[1 Points] FlatBill:

I feel like the real story is more like you just went to libX and got some coin...as a short skinny dude. :-)

Cheers

I've been grilled by banks when I've done the bank deposit method via LBC. They get in an instant bad mood. And they'll make weird small talk and try to work in why I'm depositing the funds. Then they'll make claims that its against the rules to deposit into an account without your name on it, etc etc. Of course, some banks do have that rule now. But it happens. That's the cross we good looking people bear. Its a burden for sure. lol

But as others have said, you aren't doing anything illegal (yet). They are selling it. I mean, if they are suspicious of it, why are they selling it?? I'd throw it right back at them. "Oh, are you saying your boss is willingly selling an instrument that he suspects is being used illegally? Why is he selling it if he thinks they are being used in a manner not complicit with the law?"

Unless you are moving weight, it doesn't really matter. Not like police are going to dig up surveillance video to back track a crime. Just be mindful in how you transfer it to the market. Don't act suspicious. Like i said, if they question you, question them right back.

[1 Points] jtemps92:

Yeahh but being a girl lets you get away with shit lads wouldn't, so it evens out haha, especially in drugs. When I first started selling it was from a IRL connection that I got my stuff, he fronted me a hell of a lot of shit, and didn't get pissy on the few times I struggled to pay back what/when he needed. I even went on a few week long bender (ended up going abroad during it) with no contact whatsoever with him, and he only went round to my house once to try find me lol, and went straight away when my housemate said I was away.

Pix or it didn't happen.

EDIT: Didn't think if I scrolled down she'd actually have posted them! Jesus Christ.

.... Tooting your own horn a little bit are we? I'll be the judge of that

[0 Points] BoxAddict:

Its okay she will remember you though! You're going to be one of the few people she doesn't expect to be using the BTC illicitly. Im assuming this lady knows where most of the BTC flows when bought with cash. Maybe she sends santa a naughty list?

[0 Points] None:

.....So what are ya wearing?

[0 Points] CKombobreaker:

Do you think its worthwhile to keep some money invested in BTC? Do you have to pay to keep a wallet active?...

[0 Points] None:

I just use cash. Reloadit cards are nice, you can pay for them with cash, you're name isn't on it anywhere and best part, the person at the register doesn't ask you what it's for. For all they know, it's for a birthday card. WU/MG works fine for me too. The only problem I've had was one kid on LBC wanted me to cancel the trade because it was going to take me longer than an hour to get to the nearest MG/WU location and get back with the reference number. I said "Kid, you have a 180 minute window on your trades, I can take up to that long to go process my funds, I don't work for you, you work for me. If you want your money, you will wait until I send it to you first and then give you the ref num." The one time I did close a trade I ended up having to refund my MG because the kid tells LBC that someone is trying to scam them and get their escrow frozen. So I just leave it open until I can send payment. Fuck these impatient bitches.
