[Complaint/Warning] Suspicious markets popping up

After the Evo exit scam a lot of markets with cleannet-style professional design are coming out of nowhere with TV-like marketing statements about funds security that are not secure at all just like Evo used to do . All they have is the attractive design and "TV ads" with no attention paid to the general security guidelines of the community or its standard procedures. It is like cleannet designers that have absolutely nothing to do with the community read about Evo in the news(it was everywhere) and are trying to do the same as Evo.

How can you verify that the sites' security is not up to par? For instance, Absolem's multisig policy seems very reliable, though I'm not too caught up on any other new sites.

Same here.

Curiously, none of them seem to adopt strict multisig-only, but instead spend all their efforts on obscure features like "auto-encryption" (oh yea, like I'll trust that they don't keep logs).

I thought multisig would be standard by now, but I guess there's little incentive for market devs to create markets that can't eventually steal their users' money.

I'm noticing this too. These sites are very flashy
