Using whonix and thus the KGpg frontend for GnuPG (I don't actually really understand how this works :P) I've had no issues using my own PGP key to encrypt and send messages to people who have my public key or decrypting messages to use as verification (pushingtabu) again using my own key, but how do I decrypt a message encrypted and sent to me by someone else? I have their public key imported but pasting into the text editor and saying decrypt doesn't work as it's obviously bound to my own key. tad confused here

edit: I feel......very silly. I was getting a message saying 'we could not decrypt your message'. There's me thinking that the program was having a bit of an issue because i'd gone wrong somewhere, but that was the actual message i received - i sent them a message encrypted with my own public key. fml.

Are trades in btc pretty much required for anonymity? I'm new to DNMs. Would I be safe using a VPN and tor?

When people warn to not open your package in your own home what do they mean about that? Also, if I wasn't going to open it in my home where would it be opened?

Let's say I have some btc in my coinbase wallet, and I want to move them over a market wallet, what are the steps to go through? Is using electrum on tails enough?
