Wow I just watched that whole thing man. Thank you for posting this.

I was lucky in a way, when I was in active addiction, Fentanyl was just starting to come around. And it was just the transdermal patches. We used to cut them open and shoot the gel....watching this, hearing those numbers is kind of terrifying. I was soo close to death so many times. So close to killing others.....I gave one of my best friends a bunch of the gel from a patch on my 21st birthday. Not knowing any better......he was high for HOURS and then pukes for nearly a day, he'd never done more than a Vicodin maybe and I must have given him damn close to a mg+ of Fentanyl. I nearly killed my best friend just through stupidity.

Anyway, don't know why I'm writing this, that documentary just made me wanna comment I guess. For anyone struggling, you CAN quit Opiates! I am living proof. And if you need it, goto a clinic, get on Suboxone and fuck anyone who says anything negative to you.

Suboxone changed my life. It saved my life, it was like a light switch for me, and when I flipped that switch (put that first film under my tongue) my cravings seemed to vanish. Knowing you're on it, it's a constant steady supply as long as you follow the program. It's legal and it works, that weight of the fear of WDs, that horror show of the struggle to get money, to cop, to get high, to rinse and repeat, that all just disappears if you stay with it.

For all my brothers and sisters out there fighting this, I love you and I wish you well and I hope you can find a path away from the nightmare.

That one kid spent $500k on Fent in 4 years... I believe hime but as someone who is not apart of the opiate seen that seems so unreal to me.

Also the part where Ryan was talking about rehab and getting Methadone/Suboxone and he sad he didn't have money and the Doctor said "You don't need money for this, its healthcare." I totally forgot they were in Canada and how awesome that is... it's almost like their country actually cares about the well being of their people.

thanks mate! something to watch tonight.

[3 Points] Swindel92:

I recently had an operation on my nose and when I came to, they asked how my pain was. It was pretty bad so the doctor gave me 2 doses of Fentanyl and a further 2 when I said it was still horrendous.

Now the pain was pretty much gone straight away, so I was looking forward to being sparkled from the fentanyl (may as well enjoy the opportunity!) but I felt perfectly normal, maybe a tiny bit woozy but I'd just woken up from an anaesthetic. I lay in a recovery ward for a few hours in fairly good spirits listening to podcasts until I could leave.

I thought about the time I got morphine when I was a kid and it was a breeze in comparison to that, the morphine was completely bonkers. I had trails, my voice sounded deep and slow, I was talking complete shite and there was no way I was walking anywhere plus I felt on top of the world in spite of having a severely broken arm.

Kinda hoped I'd have a similar time on the Fent, especially as I'm a tad older and could appreciate the experience more! Alas, any ideas why this happened? I know very little about the differences of these drugs so theres probably a perfectly reasonable explanation!

Is it just me or does Calgary look depressing as fuck?

[2 Points] None:

this is sad as fuck

[2 Points] budsmokersonly710:

They need to make one on all the vendors and dealers who cut their "H" with fent and kill people, those are the ones causing problems

Even DNM #4 is all fent

[2 Points] JumpmanUp2Something:

[1 Points] None:

Such a sad documentary. Thank you for sharing for awareness.

[1 Points] janobi-boris:

Wow, didn't realise opioid addiction was so bad in Canada. Thankfully in the UK, we dont have the issues around fent/oxy but we do have a massive heroin problem.

Ive seen something similar to this sometime ago, and google will help those who wish to view it. A documentary, 6 episodes about heroin addiction. Its called A Swansea Love Story.

[1 Points] molehead2k9:
