I received an order today and am sketched out. It's a regular envelope and on the bottom there's a slit along the edge not quite an inch long. Should I be worried?
Small opening in bottom of letter?

Wouldnt sweat it. If it made it to you, and its a small enough amount to fit in a normal envelope, then you're good.

Postal worker here. Edges bust open all the time from the DBS machines. It basically runs the envelopes through a double breadpin type thing and the edges/sides bust out sometimes. If they got you, you would know. And if they were getting ready to get you, you would have no idea.

This was explained here one time a couple years ago by u/forwhombagels, aka u/FriendlyDarknetUSPSGuy. It's most often and most likely that it was an automated sorting machine that did this, and it generally only happens to items which are somewhat oddly shaped (in other words, pregnant). If something gets caught in a moving belt, it can, completely inadvertantly, make a slice in an edge of the package that looks exactly like a razor blade cut.

Could be a sorting machine, could be the cops. Who knows. I'd order normal clearnet packages to see if they're tampered with.

Why do so many people care about this? Pack is in your hands.... get high

it seems like a lot of mail has been arriving lately with parts of the envelope torn but the pack intact. not sure what is causing this phenomena

Thanks for the input all. I did open it, I will say the stealth was amazing by far the best I've seen thus far.
Burn Belize, move to house.
