So Im going to a music festival next weekend. Ordered something off of Zion, it says the funds are in escrow, but my order has not been processed or shipped yet and its been like 2 days. I'm wondering if this is because it still says "waiting for BTC confirmation". Looking at block chain the transaction is still unconfirmed. Could this be why my order has not been sent out yet? Only reason I can think of it being unconfirmed still is because the fee was low but I don't even think there was an option to put a higher fee in when ordering. (AKA I think the reason the fee was low is because of Zion) I could be wrong I don't know. I have never had a problem like this on DNMS. I still have the option to cancel and refund the order. Should I do that, see if my btc comes back and try ordering again or something else? Maybe try another market? I just really need this shit for this festival.
If its unconfirmed on the blockchain than it is not the fault of Zion.
It sounds like you sent too low of a miners fee
Can somebody post the link for the transaction accelerator website? Use that at the top of the hour and it will confirm alot faster
Not sure who your wallet is with but on Electrum there is a slider bar where you set the miners fee. I just leave it on the medium setting and I usually get confirmations within 1 hour or 3 hours max
The fees are wicked high right now, I sent $5 and the fucking fee was like $4.80 so only 20 cents of bitcoin actually counted
Always send $10 more bitcoin than what the market says to cover fluctuations in btc and the fucking miner fees
