Chroncentrate's Customers

Hey All. We're shutting down for a bit to revamp our opsec/shipping techniques. USPS has made some recent changes, and in order to keep up with all necessary security measures, we thought this was the smartest play. Most of our orders these days are FE, so we wanted to let everyone know that we are refunding any orders that arrived after Thursday night last week.

I've issued about 35 refunds so far. If you were missed for some reason or other, please contact us via the method with which you ordered, adn we'll send the funds your way.

Edit: We are back up and functioning. Please order away(especially all of you who we refunded yesterday!) Thanks. Look forward to being back up and running in the next week or two.-Chron

Got to wonder what these changes are that usps made

What are these changes?

The USPS is now extending First Class Package Service (FCPS) beyond the previous 13-ounce limit to 15.99 ounces, resulting in savings for shippers. Nevertheless, it comes with some headaches for sellers.

The change was rolled out on January 17 as part of the 2016 postal rate changes for shipping services. The first bump in the road was for eBay sellers, who found the marketplace's shipping label service was not initially ready for the change.

A bigger challenge: understanding the change only applies to Commercial Base rates. Sellers who expect to get the lower rate at their local Post Office are disappointed to learn it's only available through online postage providers (but, not the USPS's own Click N Ship site - another wrinkle).

And that leads to a yet another challenge sellers are facing: because FCPS for packages between 13 - 16 ounces is not available at the Post Office window, some postal clerks are rejecting packages that sellers drop off with Commercial Base rate labels affixed. Or worse, those packages show up in customers' hands with postage due. Some clerks and postal workers continue to believe that FCPS only goes up to 13 ounces (which is true for the postage they sell at the window - no wonder why they are confused!).

Industry boards are documenting the confusion and frustration with the USPS changes.

"Folks are still getting first class package mail refused over 13 oz. and some buyers are still getting postage due," a seller wrote on last week's eBay chat session. "This is bad for us sellers. What can we do? I will not use 1st class for over 13 oz until this is resolved."

During the session, eBay's Jim "Griff" Griffith suggested a way to get help in those cases. eBay's shipping team wants to hear from sellers about cases where postal workers are misinformed - "including cases where a clerk has refused to accept a First Class Package label with CommBase rates for weight between 13 and 16 ounces," he wrote. eBay will report the problem to the USPS, which promised to reach out to the postal workers in question to educate them about the changes.

sorry for the wall of text; i'm wondering if this has anything to do with it?

Sad to see you take a break but it can only help your business to take a step back and reevaluate your stealth and opsec.

Sometimes vendors don't get even a day to stop, step back, and look at their whole process. Weed growersmay have a gap between crops which is the ideal time for a pause. no need to rush a crop that isn't quite finished flowering, then dry it too quickly. manicuring is quite labour intensive, plus they're going to be pretty damn stoned.

As an ex-weed grower, I can tell you that pauses are to be expected. Some vendors would continue taking orders for weed they haven't got yet.
