Why did The mods remove market warnings?

If there aren't warnings than this sub just lost another level of consumer protection. What's the logic for this?

There were a few issues with having them there. Users took the warnings as an avoid at all costs type deal, rather than the warning it was supposed to be. They were also Active market warnings, just to warn users about an ongoing situation. The issue with that was they weren't removed when the issue was fixed.

Some users also took the list as a shilling effort. Markets in the list? They're shilling for the other markets! List removed? They're shilling for the markets! It wasn't a good system.

This is the project I'm working on. The plan is to merge the warnings with the Superlist in the wiki, while only having active warnings in the sidebar. If you have any ideas for this feel free to mention them.
