Vendor Friendly Utility

I built a simple tool that allows me to create/read/reply to messages on 2 markets.

Pretty much, the app uses tor to communicate with our markets. If this tool was complete, a vendor would be able to use something sort of like an email client to see/respond to new orders/messages/disputes and even cash out funds from all sites they are present on.

I know there must be many similar tools that exist. I am asking if you guys think this would even be helpful? Is maintaining an online presence even time consuming? Would the benefits of this tool outweigh the risks?

I believe customer service would be greatly improved since checking all sites would take seconds. This would also allow vendors to broaden their market exposure. To check all markets you would go through a single client, similar to an email client like thunderbird.

I know many people would not trust the tool to not steal their info, so of course it would be free and to use you would compile from source.

Also I am an [8], and I want you to tell me which name is better (VenTor or DealerBuddy). I thought smoking several pots was supposed to make people creative, but all the names I come up with sound stupid as shiite.

DealerBuddy sounds like something that Vince Ofer would advertise on late night TV in the USA. VenTor sounds much more clever to me.

I don't know if very many vendors would take you up on that, since it does sound like a security risk. However, I think a lot of buyers would like vendors to adopt it, since waiting for vendors to communicate makes everyone crazy.

You might want to talk to /u/gramsadmin about what you're building/working on. He's a really brilliant guy and comes up with a lot of very innovative utilities for DNMs. I am not at all questioning your ability here. I have a ton of respect for Grams and it just occurred to me that he may be someone who would have valuable feedback or advice for you.

Good luck! Everyone wants vendors to communicate better, so I am sure you'd get a lot of support with building something like this to be secure enough for people to trust and utilize.

VenTor. Easier to generate a custom onion domain name/rsa key.
