I've made tons of suggestions on r/sourcerymarket and so have countless others and none of them have been fixed. None, literally for weeks now the same dumb UI bugs that I could fix are still around. I've made wordpress sites cleaner than Sourcery.
You guys have just now started facing DDOS so what have you been doing to improve your market all this time? Theres so many aesthetic issues that its not even funny but theres also more serious flaws that really make it fucking hard to use your market.
The one that has my panties in a bunch is the fact that once you've set a filter such as "shipped from" and you change the page resets the filter. Its so fucking cancer it literally makes looking at listings a tedious task.
Lots of less serious bugs like the random get started button on the "sourcery" page that leads to nowhere. The about us page looking like monkey aids, search tab showing new listings so one vendor justs spams like 50 of the same listing so they are constantly on the first page, category tabs all jumbled and use different formatting [ ie Other (non-drugs) and Other Drugs]. You guys have a whole page dedicated to harm reduction but no harm reduction category for people to sell clean needles and test kits?
Again obviously these aren't incredibly serious issues but annoying nonetheless, especially when they've been pointed out for weeks and we have been told they are being looked at. Other markets are able to fix bugs instantaneously, being that nothing is getting fixed is getting me worried about sourcery's longevity.
We are in process of completely revamping the UI and the user experience on Sourcery. The look and feel will be much simpler, cleaner and should be a more pleasant experience.
We have been doing a lot of development work but its functionality unseen. I know users generally don't care about this but we had a big development initiative to create SrcPay which will serve as a payment gateway and escrow service not only for Sourcery Market but also any other hidden service that wishes to leverage this functionality - such as vendor shops offering escrow. This was an important addition for our long reaching goals on the Darknet. SrcPay will represent a distributed system where markets and shops are no longer possessing coin on the market. SrcPay leverages our innovative payment platform where the market (nor SrcPay) ever handles buyer coin at any point. We are close to launching our first SrcShop with an extremely large and reputable vendor that will leverage SrcPay. Sourcery Market will also be using SrcPay as well and this will represent a complete separation between the payment functionality and a market.
But yes, the user interface needs a lot of work and we have prioritized that highly and expect a revamped market experience soon. The point is, we have not absolutely ceased development efforts and we have long term goals here.
