Can You Get Scammed Via Escrow Payments?

I've had a lot of success with Escrow and decided to do an order using FE from a seller who appeared to be about for a while, turned out it was a large scam. Wasn't a devastating lose, just an expensive lesson.

Now I'm wondering, is there any escrow scams to be aware off? Surely if the funds are being held until I release them (or it times out), I'm safe? Right?

The market admins can determine that you are lying about not receiving shipment/ getting less than you paid for/ getting the wrong thing (in terms of the explanation you give for not releasing the funds) and then they will side with the vendor and release your cash to them. Other than that I don't know of any way that you could be scammed.

What if you don't have a test kit on hand, receive a product.. let's say MDMA. (Which you won't test until you decide to roll) and get sent bunk product, but have already released funds when you received your order?

depends on the market you gotta watch the escrow release timer if you have not received your product yet open dispute extend escrow.

Yeah sometimes vendors do send empty packs, or during a dispute give a wrong tracking number to the mods which says delivered. These are scummy scams lol, so just order off a good vendor and you should be safe from these.
