Quick start guide: Vendor

Thank you for registering on the Sheep Marketplace!


1) After you've logged in, you will see the following page:




2) Go to Account.
In order to become a seller, you must activate your account. It will cost you 1.6 BTC.




3) Go to Account Account > Add item.
Here you can add items you have for sale. If you haven't activated your seller account yet, you won't be able to add any items.




4) Go to Account > Deposit.
Here you will be able to see all your deposit addresses. In order to deposit bitcoins into your account, you will have to send the BTC to one of these addresses. A brand new account won't have an associated deposit address and it must be generated.




5) Go to Account > Deposit.
After you've generated a new deposit address, it will be displayed on this page. You can generate a new address once every 24 hours. There is no need to generate multiple addresses.




6) Go to Account.
After you have have deposited the 1.6 BTC needed to activate your account, the page will look as follows:




7) Go to Account.
After you have successfully activated your account, the page will look as follows:




8) Go to Account > Postage.
Here you can add postage options. These postage options will be available when you put up new items for sale. It’s very convenient and will save you time. We recommend that you set EUR, USD or GBP as currency.




9) Go to Account > Postage.
After you’ve added a postage option, the page will look as follows:




10) Go to Account > Add item. It’s very clear and simple. No explanation necessary.




11) Go to Account > Listed items. You will be redirected to Account > Listed items. Here you will be able to view all your listings, as well as enable/disable, edit or delete them.




12) After you’ve listed your item, it will appear in the appropriate category. By default the best selling items are show first but buyers can also sort the listings by lowest/highest price.




13) Go to Orders. You 7 days to accept or reject orders. After 7 days, the customer will be able to cancel their order. If you already have an order, the page will look as follows:




14) Go to Orders. After you’ve accepted the order, you will have 5 days to mark it as sent. The buyer will be able to see if an order is still processing or if it has already been sent.




15) Go to Orders. After you’ve marked the order as sent, the customer will have 21 days to take action if the order is not received. After 21 days, you will automatically be paid.




16) Go to Orders. If a customer marks an order as ‘Never arrived’, you will have 5 days to respond. The order will be shown under "Complaint orders".




17) Go to Orders. A customer can ask you to refund some or all of their BTC if their order hasn’t arrived. You can either accept their proposal or propose a refund that you think is fair (or no refund at all), and explain your reasoning.




18) Go to Orders. After the customer has accepted your proposal, the order will be moved to "Completed orders", and both the seller and the buyer will be able to rate the transaction.




19) Go to Orders. This is the assessment form. You will be able to leave either a positive, negative or neutral rating and leave a comment. A rating will have to be approved by our Support Team, who will examine any issues.
