Title: Request: Chewing Qat/Khat/Kat
Post by: Phainomai on September 20, 2012, 03:33 am
However you spell it! Pretty prominent in the middle east, especially Yemen. It may not travel well so that could be the reason. If anyone could inform me of this, or get their hands on some, I'd love ya!

Pronounced "Cot," as in the portable beds.

If you are based in the U.K this is available at just about any East-African market/grocer.

If you are going to buy it then you need to have them package it extremely well because it goes off very quickly and then the leaves are noway near as effective. You need it as fresh as possible.

Yeah that's pretty much what I'm reading about now. Unfortunately it isn't sold here either. So I guess I'll just have to enjoy some next time I'm in London. Thank you, friend!

No worries! If you are trying to find it in London you are best off South or East! :)
