Title: SR's bitcoin value
Post by: feemsteam on August 22, 2013, 03:55 am
Why is the Silk Road's value for a bitcoin the lowest I can find anywhere.... if I'm not mistaken it used to be the same as the weighed average on Mtgox. Any answers/insight would be greatly appreciated.

It is not an average between the 3 largest databases ... which is still overvalued IMO.

MtGox is play money IMO ... nowhere is a vendor going to get anywhere near $8-10 over that MtGox is going for.

Well, buyers are paying Mt.gox prices but vendors aren't getting those prices on the back end so it's sort of a compromise between the two.
