The guide I have says like this.

Step one: Don't think about it.
Step two: Don't try it.
Step three: Enjoy the fact that this guide saved your life.

The thing I want to say is that I am not against heroin users, but I would advise all my people to avoid trying.

Take care.

I'm curious. its a powder right? but you cant inject a powder. do you mix it with saline? does plane salt water work? or do you have to buy some sort of medical saline solution?

is it really that bad? even if you make up your mind to do it just the one time, to know what it feels like. is that enough to get hooked?

A first timer better make damned sure they do the dosage correctly.  Also make sure no clumps of anything because you don't want circulation to get cut off in vein.

If someone wanted to try it once to experiment (that's what I did), I'd recommend they just go take some oxycontin and get high on that.  Same experience (without the nasty needles and shit).  And I say this as someone who used to be addicted to opiates, has smoked heroin several times, and injected heroin once.  Just keep in mind that if you really end up liking it then that can easily become the start of a bad habit.

As for *physical* withdrawals... you typically need to be doing opiates for at least a few days before you become at risk for withdrawals.  If someone wants to play around with opiates (which I'd advise against), I'd at least recommend they only do it once a week or so.  The problem, though, is if you enjoy it and have a stash sitting 10ft away from you then how much self-control will you really have?

Opiates are not something to be taken lightly.

Quoted for truth. Why not just smoke up?
