Firstly, massive apologies for being so paranoid, but It would really put my mind at rest if someone who knew what they were doing could assure me im not just bumbling around in the dark and about to cock something up! I've been reading the forums for a few days, and think i've finally wrapped my head around everything I need to do to make a purchase, so here's what I'm planning on doing, if you could tell me whether it's right or not, that would be great.
1. Creating an account on mtgox using normal, non-tor google chrome.
2.using bitinstant do do a normal bank deposit from my bank, getting a coupon to get btcoins onto mt.gox.
3.send the mt gox bitcoins to an instawallet.org wallet.
4.Switch back to using tor, tumble the coins around a few accounts like seals with clubs, then finally into SR?
Again, so sorry for posting what you must all see all the time...

Scratch that, the cashbank deposit is only for american banks... is there an easy way to get funds into mt gox in the UK?

right, new plan is to get funds into Intersango using my bank account, change them to bitcoins-> swap to using Tor -> move coins to seals with clubs -> instawallet -> Silk Road. Sound sensible? Any feedback would really be appreciated.

Yes that sounds about right. I'm in 'Murrika so I do it a bit differently, but all the threads about getting bitcoins in the UK that I've read have said use intersango.
All the tumbling about can't hurt either.
