how long do you need to wait before you can finalize an order?

someone told me if as a buyer you have several transactions you do not need to wait aslong

No, it's if a seller has more than 35 successful transactions then you don't need to wait as long to finalize.

I thought you could finalize (if you wanted to) the moment the order is shown in transit. I think that's the way sellers set up FE if that's what they require.

Provided the seller has more then 35 successful transactions.

No. The vendor requests it. The person who sells the item, not the buyer.
