Title: Official: RabbitHole Maple Mushroom Candies
Post by: Britney Spears on July 16, 2013, 05:18 pm
I want to start off by saying that the people at RabbitHole are some of the nicest people I have spoke to on the road. They offer a really unique product and take no shortcuts in their packaging, preparation, and service. I would put RabbitHole up there with Thurgood Jenkins as far as quick replies to questions and willingness to please the customer. Anyway...on with the review.

Time of Day: 12:03 PM around 93 degrees and beautiful.
Dosage: 2 Candies/A friend had 1.

I talked my friend into tripping with me that afternoon on a whim. I ordered 4 candies from rabbithole and they arrived from Canada in 5 days (I am in the US. They only ship to Canada, but there is proof that there product is stealthy enough to pass through US/Canada customs. I'm hoping they will consider adding US as a market for them.) and the package was fantastic. I felt like I just bought some gourmet candy at a fancy shoppe. I ate two candies which is equivalent to two grams. This is the first time I have ever had Canadian maple and I have to say it was quite pleasant (aside from the mushroom taste in some bites...you can't mask it completely.) I am not a big fan of eating mushrooms straight up, they definitely don't taste great and I hate getting them stuck in my teeth. I also feel less nausea during my trip when I take it a different way. So, as soon as we consumed the mushrooms we didn't have shit to do. I suggested a bike ride and my friend was all for it. We rode for about 30-45 minutes before I started to feel the candies. We were laughing at how ridiculous we looked riding bikes. We were like: "we are fucking riding bikes on mushrooms." Somehow, that was like Richard Pryor's ultimate punchline to us. We kept riding and I really started feeling the air hitting my face. I would ride as fast as I could then just coast admiring the visuals. Every sense got heightened and the sky became an odd bright blue color. The very few times we had to dodge cars (I literally felt like I was dodging them) was crazy. It was a bit of paranoia, but once they passed I felt as if I accomplished something great. There wasn't much talking going on just inaudible noises at one another that was met with laughter. After about a 2 and a half hour bike ride with only two stops (which were uncomfortable. Our zone was clearly on the bikes.) we were exhausted so we returned to my friends place. Everything was in a weird psychedelic place. The sky was still the odd blue color but everything around me was moving in slow waves. I would look at my friend and he would be completely still but everything around him was in motion. I had to walk away a couple of times and catch my breath. (Really deep breaths that come from taking psychedelics.)

Anyway, much of the next two hours was spent listening to music, laughing, and me fumbling around with instruments. I returned home and took a hot bath. The bath was amazing during the comedown. It brought me to a relaxing place (with a bit of G-13) to where I felt just the slightest tinge of a mushroom trip. I was able to lay around, watch tv, and crash...no problem.

This was a fantastic trip. I probably could have done with just a single dose or a dose and a half. It was stronger than I expected (according to their own dosage chart on their vendor page.) I look forward to seeing what RabbitHole has in store for future products and I fully endorse and recommend their Maple Candies.  Perhaps if enough US customers show some interest, they will be more likely to ship this way.

Stealth - 10/10 - The product is stealth enough on it's own. However, they go the extra mile to ensure safety.
Communication- 11/10 - Better than perfect rating here.
Product- 10/10 - This was my first time with this variation. It was a strong and intense high.

That's great to hear! We definitely want to share our magic candy with everyone. We're nearly finished with our shipping tests to the US and are planning to start sending soon, hopefully by the end of the week.

Thank you for the detailed feedback, Britney! This is the kind of encouragement that keeps us bringing out our best! And thanks to everybody who has helped us along the path!
