Title: Leaving bitcoins in SR account?
Post by: infectionnz on July 13, 2012, 05:10 am
Is this a safe way to 'store' bitcoins? I'm not too clued up on keeping a local bitcoin wallet on my computer (and I've heard that you need to keep that shit locked down because if someone steals your wallet then they've got your coins too?).

Is it any safer to keep bitcoins on your SR account for extended periods?

It's advised not to keep your bitcoins stored anywhere other than your own local wallet. You can make a portable bitcoin wallet on a usb stick and keep it on a hidden truecrypt partition so no one can ever find it but you.

Title: Wallet to USB . How?

Did not know your BTC could be stolen from your SR wallet easily or otherwise. Can anyone describe or point to procedure for moving them from wallet to USB stick?  Also how do you assign +ive and -ive karma points?
