Title: Why PCP?
Post by: SoopaRolla on May 05, 2012, 10:39 pm
I remember doing some like grade 4 drug project on it, and it just looked so much more fucked up than anything else. Now that i look at it, it looks even worse!
What's the appeal? I mean, no one really discuss' it much, so i guess there isnt really that much appeal...
Anyone tried, want to try?

Yeah I wanted to try it too, then I saw the pictures of Mason Verger after he cut most of his face off with a broken bathroom mirror and fed it to his dogs....as an offering to Big Bird he said.  That would suck.

Yeah, if you did that on the weekend and had a day job you'd be fucked Monday morning.

You know that scene in fight club, (sorry for talking about it, but i guess the anonymity makes up for it)
where he shows up to work with bruises?
Its like that, except his face is missing...

"Morning Bill, how was your weekend? MINE WAS GREAT!"
"......."

Saw a couple of episodes of Intervention with people addicted to it. I can see the appeal. Pretty much the same effect as heavy duty opiates, although with long-lasting psychological/schizofrenic effects...

I've actually done it. Used to be marketed as "mesc"? I never understood it, they're too distinctly different substances.

Snorting a little bit would create a dream-like state, where dancing felt like floating on clouds.

I did too much once, got incredibly dizzy, colors became super bright and swirled in a kaleidoscope fashion as I lost all motor function control. Some friends helped me home from a club, and I spent a good portion of the morning quite sick. Never touched it since. And it was only a handful of times, at most overall.

It was a really popular rave drug around these parts in the late 90's/ early 00's.

Never tried it (only because I never came across it, lol), but have read that the experience is a lot like what advanced motion described above.  I think a lot of the violent, psychotic trips described are a bunch of hype...  Exceedingly rare, and possibly the result of an unstable individual on a combination of drugs.

Like I said, never tried it so I don't really know.  What I do know that a lot of the dangers of drug use are severely over-hyped by the government and media, and perpetuated to further an agenda or a story...

Now that I have access to it, I think some experimentation might be in order. :)

This is just one more horror story you read about in the papers, but its 100% legit.

I wont give too many details, but I know a guy who stabbed his girlfriend because he thought she was the devil and trying to hurt his kid. All she was doing was rocking her kid back to sleep because he had woke up. She almost died btw.

I dont know the amount of pcp he was on, or the quality, but after this shit went down I vowed never to touch the stuff.

This guy was a good dude, who was non violent prior to this night. As far as pre-existing psychological disorders, Im not sure, but he seemed like a pretty standup dude to me.

I've been around a while, back when I was in school it was called KW (killer weed) or green (since is was usually sprayed on parsley or MJ) and was smoked.  I did it a few times back then it was more popular, easy to get and fairly cheap... I would classify the experience (at least the two I had) like shrooms mixed with molly.  Of course back then folks didn't fuck with the ingredients like they do now (cutting substances, hardly anyone I knew ever cut anything).

Even still, we heard some pretty bad stories of folks getting all fucked up and jumping off roofs and shit but hell... you hear those kinds of stories all the time anyway.

I never did it again since it tended to give me a wicked bad headache the next day.

Peace

Hawk

Goodluck on your endeavor into new dimensions :D

On another note, PCP just seems kinda fucked.
You know those moods (Maybe just me) when you basically feel all hardcore and pumped and you wanna go to raves and get fucked.. I think that is when i would be enticed to try pcp.
IMO, PCP is taboo. Idk why, it just seems like the cons outweigh the pros.. then again everyone against something says that...

from this experience report:  http://www.erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=10663

"My first experiences with dissociatives were with tobacco cigarettes dipped in large amounts of PCP (estimated 100-150 mg per cigarette.) My friends and I were smoking fully anaesthetic 'P-hole' ;) doses of PCP daily for a few weeks. I would smoke small doses at work and found that it considerably enhanced my performance, especially my short-term memory. At night we would rocket into the void, spending millenia in the worlds of the imagination. It was truly indescribable and I really wont even try, but let me say that anything seemed possible, indeed was, we could travel bodyless to countless times, places, dimensions. "

millenia in the worlds of the imagination??  travel bodyless to countless times, places, dimensions??  thats why I wanna try it; sounds to me like its a pretty cool trip if you do it right.  i imagine that if you smoke a stupidly large amount on a street corner in the middle of a ghetto you might freak out but I am really not concerned about going all Mr. Hyde off a few hits while laying in bed.

honestly, i think all the ridiculous urban legends and people telling me not to do it is whats making me want to try it so bad.

I'm not doubting you, but to me this sounds much more like K than PCP to me. Have you ever tried K to see the difference?
Never done PCP myself(yuck, I am manic enough as it is), but I could imagine most dissociatives could be hard to distinguish without experience with them.

As a teen I watched a lot of 'COP'S' and recall that every time there was some bare naked dude walking down the street (usually in the ghetto) screaming at the top of his lungs  it was usually under the influence of PCP. It would take about a dozen cop's to rugby tackle and subdue this one dude who seemed to acquire sudden superhuman strength under the influence of the  'Sherm stick'.

I wonder if there is any correlation between doing PCP and being a sexy motherfucker?
