The United States is really, really big, geographically speaking. I can't help but think increased transit times also increase a buyers chances of not receiving product. It would be nice to have something like "Ships From: SW United States" so I, and other buyers, can more easily make a decision on what vendor to buy from based on where they are located within the United States.
Thanks.

That takes a half step out of LEO's short path to dialing in on even moderately safe vendors tail(s).

Yeah I'll pass I would rather no one on this site know what region of the U.S. I'm from.Safety first.

I've thought about this, and I think if a vendor wants that known they should put it in their profile along with other shipping details. It's rare to find someone here who posts their shipping schedule, and if you don't know that then being close by is not necessarily an advantage anyway.

to me thats info people should have to pay for.
the postal system isnt really that far apart because any plane trip is only a couple hours

This doesn't really seem like an issue. Even first class mail only takes 3-5 business days from one side of the country to the other. If shipped priority, 90%+ of packages are delivered by the 2nd business day, but can take up to 3. Lastly, Overnight Express only takes a max of 2 days well... why on earth would you need it to be more specific than that?
