Title: DDoS for hire! (Shutdown websites and servers)
Post by: ZeroDDoS on May 17, 2012, 04:09 am
Hello all.

My name is Zero. I am currently in the process of developing a botnet with the hopes of selling DDoS services on Silk Road. I am posting here to estimate demand right now. I would also like to make some small sample sales.

My plan as of now is to offer some small samples for around 1 BTC a piece. My net is currently in its infancy, so these targets will be small websites and servers. As I build up a bigger net, I hope to start selling DDoS attacks on larger and more commercial servers. Then I hope to interface with Tor and sell my services against hidden services.

For a brief time to build rep, I will offer a free 20 minute attack to the first few people of 500+ posts who request. As I have stated, my net is in its infancy, but I have big plans and expectations for it. Do not expect me in my current state to be able to down any target. You can, however, expect a full refund for any unsuccessful attack.

So yeah, a brief summary is I'm trying to build up a few dollars in bitcoin to get the ball rolling. Once everything is in full effect, I'm looking forward to purchasing a seller's account and moving my sales to Silk Road's main site. I am open to any feedback or suggestions.

Stay safe,

Zero

Unix or Bot?
Size? (what do you mean by infancy?)
IRC or Web?

These are questions to determine stability.

Hello, Reece.

Honestly, I don't really feel comfortable giving the specifics of my net. I feel this information is not of much concern, as it is both stable and hard hitting. This is a safety concern. I feel that the less which is known by the public, the better for all.

However, as you are the first responder, and seem somewhat interested, I would be willing to extend to you a brief free sample on your choice of target. Nothing too big. A small website or game server preferably.

IDK about demand....this community is mostly everyday ppl just trying to buy personal drugs to get thru the awful week of every month. I could see where might this not be the right market for your service. Though wonders never cease daily here.

You are right. My hope is that others will come here simply for the service. As far as I know, there is no service simply available to anyone like this. Silk Road seems like a very viable medium for this, as it is safe and easy to use.

As for the above poster, I apologize, but the criteria for free samples is posted. The only reason I am offering one to the first poster is because he seems to have a little bit of knowledge about what I am offering.

Hack usdirectforyou for the community.

Haha, what have they done?

Also, I'm actually suspending this temporarily. I'm in the process of moving my control to a more secure system. Please hold off for a few days anyone who is interested.

What you got zero, an encryption decipher followed by a kernel attack?

I'm offering DDoSing services, not hacking services. Now if he had a site or server that needed shutting down, that's quite a different story, and I could potentially take it on as an opportunity to prove my legitimacy.

I'm sorry for the community's loss, however. Sadly, shady business always attracts shady people. It's the name of the game when dealing with anything illegal, I suppose.

I can't honestly see much of a market here for the nature of your business.

I'd offer it over at HackBB or BMR where there is much more demand for this kind of stuff.

Dank

I have posted on HackBB as well after the suggestion of another user here. The community and seller's system seems a lot more legitimate here though.

I call skiddy, What is the backbone you are using? Please tell us details of your throughput and consistency of the pipe line how meany requests can you send with what total mb of packets? How many ip ranges are you using and various class leases?

A couple IRC bots is not going to cut it, if you got a bunch they will stop you in matter of minutes just blocking your ip lease range.

Oh boy. I'm caught. You got me!

As I've said before, the specifics of my net are of no concern and I consider it privileged information. I will not post it on a public message board. However, I will state the the number of bots is in the thousands and growing, with no specific set of ranges.

You come off as quite smug. Have I offended your delicate sensibilities?

i call skiddiot ./'er as well.

you can't give away specifics because you don't know the specifics. i'm guessing some kid with a zeus clone still trying to figure out how to get his bots to respond because of purposely broken code to stop this exact issue.

i hope that you can prove me wrong though. my word isn't shit to you or anyone here, but i'll be more than happy to shove my own foot in my mouth given the proper "schooling" that is ever so popular amongst "security gurus" these days.

that being said...

do i see a market for it on SR? sure... is it worth the fee you would need to pay for a vendor account? maybe :) not sure if the cost people would be willing to pay would be worth it for you though. there are plenty of mitigation techniques that void several botnet attacks. and unless you are on the breaking edge of development in non disclosure/release service interruption vulnerabilities I doubt it's worth anyone's time including your own.

this kind of stuff is allowed on sr now ?

or should this be on the armory as a weapon ?

I do not want to give the specifics away simply because I think it is too much information about what I am doing. Why should any potential adversaries, be it law enforcement or otherwise have access to this information? This is not a clone of Zeus, nor anything else.

As for your comment on mitigation, the code is in constant update. New features are being added as I see fit, and I've been doing a lot of reading on different security flaws and forms of attack trying to find new ways to implement features. I've put the net down for a few days while testing for a complete new recode in a different language with a migration of my command and control to a different service entirely.

The quick and harsh assessments are rather off-putting. Trust me, I've been around the block enough times and have made my mistakes. I know what's necessary to monetize a DDoS service. While this perhaps is not the best market for such a thing, it does seem to be the most secure. This is simply another venue I'm trying. With this, anyone is free to make orders without fear of repercussion, and I hope this to turn out to be a big selling point after I've proven myself.

I'm not asking anyone to blindly expect amazing things. I'm here to offer free samples to those of rank, and cheap samples to those who are not. I'm not selling anything other than samples until my legitimacy is proven. There is no reason for any of you to trust me from anyone else, and I understand that and would not expect any different.

All I'm saying is; don't be so quick to judge. I'm simply asking for a chance to earn the trust of the community.

It's a service, not a weapon. I'm not giving a physical item to anyone. As such I believe this belongs on Silk Road.

OMG he found LOIC, more then likely the one with zuse.

~ $ rm skiddie

Until you can give specifics of your backbones ur throughput and unless them thousands are on different trunks entirely it wont work. I am standing firm on bs. Agree with X14 you don't know them so you cant give them, this information is irrelevant to giving your anything away and someone with thousands of bots would know this. Installing some worm in your university one late night doesn't cut it, the admin will notice when you start the attack within hours and your gigs up.

My university? Presumptuous, don't you think? I'll say again, they are not on any specific IP range. These are entirely different machines on many different networks.

Honestly, if I wasn't confident in this, why would I be offering samples? Why would I be trying to build a reputation BEFORE selling? While I don't think my throughput is very compromising information, it really isn't that relevant. I'll debate posting test results when I'm fully back online, but I certainly will not discuss the backbone here.

While talking to you I get the strangest feeling that I'm just feeding the trolls...

Hi ZeroDDoS,

I dont think that Silk Road is the right Marketplace for your service, cause its "the number one" online drugmarket.

I get the strangest feeling that I'm just feeding the trolls...

Well... you should know it. If someone is calling you a skiddi, and says in the same post its normal to talk about specific“s, you better run away. ;)

regards

You might be right. Sadly, I've gotten way more replies here than on HackBB (where I've gotten none). It's kind of odd. I've seen way more demand outside of the deepnet rather than in it. I would have thought it would be the other way around. I'll see how it goes once I have my net back up and running. I might lower the standard for free samples to get some publicity going.

Perhaps you should consider the common knowledge level of users in the dark web versus users in the clear web.

Probably because black hat hackers are few and far between on the clearnet. You will always find a young teen saying please hack this girls facebook she's so much prettier than me I hate her hack her I fuck you you fuck me we fuck together happy forever after.
