Okay, I know this is totally firstworldproblem and all that, but then I'm on this site, right? We're living that dream. ;D
When I'm a bit short of time, I like to click 'Show new replies to your posts' and check them out. But there's a couple of threads I've posted in that are total drivel and I don't want to follow them any more but I've got like this obesessive-compulsive need to no longer have any threads showing in the 'Show new replies....' before I head on over to the 'Show unread topics' link.
So, just wondering if there is a way to unfollow threads?
<<puts on NegKarmaArmour >> ::)

Not sure, I had the idea of your own very special 'follow' list of topics because 80% of the topics in my 'new replies to your post'-list I don't wanna read anymore either ;D
Maybe reading the topic and don't reply to it might help..

Thanks for enlightening reply sensei :P
Unfortunately this does not help for topics started AGES AND AGES AGO that you reply to once on a whim/when you're drunk/when you're munted from popping up there ::)
Nor does it stop a lass from replying to topics on a whim/when drunk/when munted etc....

Yeah, I think this is a good idea. I have the same issue and I always just click on the thread and then close it out. This may be better suited in the Feature Request section though, unless there is a way to unfollow a thread and I'm not aware of it...

Me too. But that's sort of what I'm trying to avoid. Which, I know, is really lame, but just thought there might be something simple that I missed, because that sort of thing tends to happen to a luddite like me.

I don't think there is. It is a good idea though, there's a couple threads I'd like to unfollow as well.

I'm not sure about this, but I believe if you mark them as read they won't show up anymore.
