Title: How long to wait...
Post by: sheeno101 on February 12, 2012, 05:24 pm
I ordered a small amount (4g) of weed off of planta 3 days ago. Now I'm fairly new to SR as I've only made a few orders before now and so I don't want to rush in to any rash decisions. It's just that the order has not been changed to "in transit" yet and he hasn't replied to either of the messages I sent him asking why there's a hold up.

I can appreciate it if it's just that he's busy but the lack of communication is worrying and so I wnat to know what's up. Do you guys think I should wait a bit and if so for how long?

Thanks for the help guys, I just don't want to seem impatient but I'd really like to get some weed! :P

Did you check his SR profile page at all? Like a few days ago I order two grams of MDMA from trusted vendor Ivory, and when I checked back a couple days later it was still processing instead of in transit. But I went to his profile page and he had a post explaining that the Customer Appreciation Sale had caused a delay, and a couple days later it was in transit as usual.

Other vendors only ship on certain days, or maybe he just has had real-life problems that are forcing him off of SR for a few days. The good news if you can always cancel your order if he never replies, so even though you're impatient, at least you're in no danger of being scammed. Wait a couple more days and if nothing changes, cancel your order and try again with someone active.

Assuming it's an established vendor, just be patient.

I would guess that the average package takes 30 minutes to prepare.  You wouldn't do just one at a time, you'd do a batch of them at once.  It takes time.

On the shipping, a vendor only shipping on a certain day is typical.  Again, they can't do it one at a time.  It has to be batch, especially if they want to stay under the radar.  Further, most won't ship on a weekend; they want it going through the mail system for as short of a time as possible.  You mail it on a Friday or Saturday, just about guaranteed to be stuck there on at least one Sunday.

When it does move to in transit, again, patience.  Give it a good 5 business days, even if it's domestic, and don't count the day it gets moved to in transit as day 1.

Lower your expectations a little, and you'll be that much happier on the flip side.
