Title: What do bulk cannabis prices need to be.
Post by: sourdieselman on December 28, 2012, 03:39 am
Im back on the road after a long vacation and I don't have quite the response that I did over the summer. What do bulk cannabis prices need to be to get the stuff to move? By bulk I mean a half pound or more. Please be reasonable. I can't do indoor for 2k a p I pay more than that for it.

if you got strong indoor i'd say anywhere from 1.3k-1.7k, depending on quality. a p for 3.1-3.4k? again depends on the strength of the bud. i'd even pay 3.5k for a p if the quality is right. but there are others on here (tastetreats and darkexpresso for example) who got elbows for 1.5k-2.5k. but they don't have the frosty indoor ganj.

SD you stepped out. There a weed storm, and a bunch of new vendors. Competition is high. The old timers have a consist following. What happened to yours?
prices sound good, but to be honest (here it comes) you quality varies too much. That's not only my opinion. I'm just being Chief Ramsey here;)

Read, some other vendor's threads, such as Christy Nugs, Brutusk, Rook, and many others. They get buyers to post about the great product, and good service.
I only say this because I know you are good, and give great service, but you need us to support you.

I didn't check your home page if you require FE, but you should post your links in your signature, please.

Luv,

Ya I realized that when I came back that competition is much higher now.  It seems like my prices are the same or a little better than all the other vendors  except a couple. Im not sure if I should lower my prices and undercut everyone else, but I don't want to screw up the market by doing that or if I should break down into qp s. What else should I do to advertise?

Looks to me you are doing it. Everyone's waiting for somebody to post a review. I would say then business will pick up.
It's over loaded with vendor right now. I'd like to say lower the prices, but honestly that isn't the problem.
Business is like that.

You left abruptly, we all found other bulk sources...

Also for the quality of cannabis that you sell I believe your prices are a bit high. I got a hp of garbage indoor blue dream from you over the summer that wasn't flushed correctly, and don't even get me started on that "hash" you were selling. So if your current stock is the same quality those prices will need to drop.

Last point, there is a lot more than price and quality of bud that buyers should be considering when purchasing in these quantities. Factors such as stealth shipping and communication are two areas where I believe you could greatly improve, the other bulk bud dealers I deal with have you beat by miles there (especially stealth).

I honestly do wish you the best, but if you expect to come push your commercially grown bud for top shelf prices again, good luck. Peace

No pictures = bad
SD I hope those are real pictures not stock photos ;) Hmmm do stock photos have your initials on them?
Both don't require FE, have been around a while. SD has more strains, and some I really like.
He could be phished, or taken over, thats where escrow comes in.

I haven't had luck with White widow, or Green Crack, so those strains don't interest me.
I am however, a Blue Dream Fan. My friends here beg to differ, and thats ok with me. They have introduce me to new stains, and oils.

He has got a point. How low can you go? hehe

My brother wants elbows for $1800. I just laughed at him.

Perhaps stick to lower listing to build clientele and don't go anything past a QP and just leave a note on your buyer page stating BULK inquiries need to be private messaged to you or something and you can discuss rates and negotiate.

Like wiz said the competition is more competitive now and in the past month I have seen at least 6+ new vendors alone from my country, Have a come-back sample thread and get your name out there, I don't remember you back then but if you had good clientele and high demand at one point then you should gain more business over time, according to people in this thread though it seems like you have a quality consistency issue from your supplier, perhaps ask whoever you buy off if they can take their time to properly dry/cure and other measures. Sounds like things are being rushed to me on their part.

Best of luck and have a happy new years!
