If a package were to be intercepted from Canada to US, would I get a love letter? I think I remember someone saying that there is no such thing with Canadian customs... Is this true? Any input appreciated.

That's from China -> USA, toker was asking Canada -> USA. I would imagine so, but you wouldn't receive a love letter from Canada Post, it would be from the US Customs.
The guy that said there is no customs Canada -> USA is a twit, there totally is customs set up there.

Isn't there a weight threshold there so that certain packages don't need customs declarations when crossing the US/Canada border?

Not sure but anything that is larger than a letter needs a customs declaration.... I would figure any letter weighing over 10g will also turn heads? correct me if I'm wrong.

anything that has to be weighted is declared and marked
