Title: Idea for possible tweak for "Domestic Only" button
Post by: kingpinirl on March 27, 2012, 10:51 pm
I think it would be a good idea to be able to select multiple countries to show up when the domestic only button is checked.  For example, if SR made it possible to select multiple countries of origin, one could choose Canada and USA as their "location" , and when the domestic only button is checked, only Canada and USA vendors would show up.

Anyone think this is worth implementing?

As it stands now, I have to either only see US vendors, or see ALL countries (when all I"m interested in are US and Canada)

Definitely would be cool for EU buyers to be able to have 'domestic' as EU, not just country specific.

Agreed- Might be easier on the programming end to have a few extra 'countries' in the selection, eg

Americas
Europe (EU+CH, Continental Europe)
EU Only
EU (no NL)

Just spitballing, probably a few more to add to that list.

I'd like to see the "domestic" check box replaced with a drop-down list where you can select an individual country, regardless of your own location.

Not everyone realizes that the "domestic" box is linked to their location in the settings menu, and many new users tend to just put a random country in there when they first join, rather than their own location.

I came here to post this, it's really annoying you can only filter it domestically.

THIS! I don't use the domestic only button only because Tony's L isn't visible afterwards
