I ordered from purest 2 days ago and apparently a delivery came by ad left a re-deliver slip. What do you guys think I should so? Should I worry?

no, just be ready to sign for it tomorrow, or pick it up at the post office. if its some weird looking guy who isn't you postperson then you should be worried.
Also don't open it at your house, just in case it is a controlled drop and the package has any kind of tracker or open sensor in it.

Problem is I have a very demanding job that makes it so ill never be able to present when delivered. And my license is not up-to-date with my current address (comes in handy). Can't I tel them to redeliver with no signature?

If it says it needs a signature then it's going to need a signature...they'll try to deliver it up to 3 times (I believe it's still 3 tries) before returning to sender or you can pick it up at the post office...best you could do is go to your local post office and show them your ID and explain the not up-to-date address and maybe they'll be able to help you out.

The name is slightly misspelled as well so I foresee USPS being inflexible. What I want to know is why the vendor is requiring a signature.

I had the same roblem with an express mail from Canada to the US. My USPS automatically have to get a signature for this. The canadian vendrr had no idea. I simply asked hime. In fact he request to wave signature and that works inside Canada. But here in the US they get that signature. Just take the slip to the post office and mine did ask for id but i doubt they will fuss if a Canadian or any vendor slightly bothc your name. Would take a prick moment but you never know.
Any controlled delivery would be more orchestrated event I would think and they would know you are home when that cop comes and his swat team is setting just out of sight.

Did you use Express shipping? The vendor may have not waived the signature.

all you have to do is schedule redelivery and leave the slip in your box with the signature
i was going to say no problem just go pick it up at the post, as long as your name on the id is on the package... i was able without the address on my id, but this is exactly why you are supposed to use your name or else risk not getting the package delivered

Unless the dude bought a kilo they aren't going to put a tracker in his package and have a SWAT team follow him to his house to pop him when he opens it. They also aren't going to do a controlled "delivery" at the post office, for one, they don't know when he would show up to pick up the package, and two, there would be too many civilians around that would be put n danger if he decided he wasn't going to jail and started bustin' caps.
OP, just go in, show ID, sign and get your package, take it home, open, and enjoy. Just this morning I called my local station and had them hold my package for pick up instead of waiting until late this afternoon for the mail man to deliver it. We all get paranoid because we know what's in our packages, but they have no idea what's in it, and unless it just reeks of bud, or has powder failing out of it, there's really no reason for them to suspect it is some kind of contraband. Just don't go in there reeking of dope with a shirt that says "I <3 dope", wearing a hat with a big ol' pot leaf, and you'll be fine, act normal, be cool, after all you're just picking up a birthday present from grandma right?
