Can we please get more, less expensive LSD up in SR?
I'm talking freshly laid with love blotters.
I realize this is just a rant and in the big picture of things this is futile, unless more people will share such a view and increase demand so we can get a cheaper supply :)

Urgh....the 60s was over 42 years ago mate.

But less than 15 years ago I was buying handfuls of full sheets (900) for under $1 / hit. And selling 100 sheets at 250-300, in a region with practically no acid.
I've been out of the game for a long time, but I was surprised to see the prices upon my arrival here at SR. If the supply chain has taken a serious hit I can understand (I remember the serious draught ~1999 when a manufacturer was busted in Kansas, I believe), but many vendors charging over $10/hit when buying full sheets makes no sense to me. If you're buying a sheet, you're most likely not going to do all of it yourself. Do street dealers charge $20 a hit or more for acid these days? Genuine question. I will not criticize anyone's business practices, since I am not familiar with the current market. But it seems to have gone crazy.

Yeah so what? Prices fluctuate according to the market conditions at the time. LSD isn't some sort of magical substance that isn't subject to fluctuation despite the fact that because of all the hippie bullshit and culture that surrounds it people think they should get it free on the NHS. LSD is a product in the same way that Cocaine, MDMA, Heroin, Cannabis, Amphetamine, Meth, Scripts and any other drug you care to mention is and what dictates the price of those? Market conditions and the things that effect it.
15 years ago is 15 years ago, now is now. What is the point of comparing the market now to what it was then because then is not now. Ridiculousness.

As I stated immediately. Just a question, I'm not here to criticize. Though the huge amount of inflation in the market seems a bit odd to me. If that's the way it is, that's the way it is. Still nice to have this option available, but with the reports I've read in other threads about many vendors selling fake blotter it seems a major risk, especially at these prices.

I believe that the SR prices of LSD are not an accurate description of the market value as a whole. Many factors in individual markets can factor into LSD prices, so it's difficult to price LSD with standard prices.
Although I do understand that SR services come at a premium, that can explain the extra cost.
While LSD can be referred to as product, it's a special kind of product. Hopefully more vendors will realize the positive impact of LSD and take it upon themselves to offer such a service to mankind.

Care to bring me some hard economic data to explain what you believe? Do you have any hard evidence of this or are you just spouting your thoughts that are influenced by your own bias?
And bullshit is it a special kind of product! Stop sentimentalizing something just because you buy into the bullshit culture that surrounds it. LSD is just a drug like any other drug the market conditions control it's price. You seem to think that vendors are selling LSD because they thing they are part of some social revolution (an attitude which is utter bullshit anyway) when they are doing it to make money and that's a cold fact you will have to just accept. Nobody is getting you fucked for their sense of being part of a cause, they are doing it to make bank.
You need to get your head out the clouds and come down to earth mate. Like I said, the 60s ended 42 years ago.

Money is the living expression of the desires and needs of a populace. Social revolution and financial rewards tend to run together, for the winning party.
Asking for less expensive LSD isn't going to get you less expensive LSD. What you can do, is keep buying. This creates incentive for people to go into the business.

I think the prices are reasonable and reflect current availability(ie. scarcity) of the resource. I bought a half-sheet last summer for $200, and that was from my *Best* mate ever, ever. I've known the guy for almost 20 years. The reason hits were $1-$5 back in the late 90s is because there was domestically an oversupply, and an undersupply of MDMA, combined with almost no RCs. I had some mates in boarding school who would run away, go to boston commons, get a 10-pack and sell it for $10kUSD to the Japanese(I accidentally answered the phone once, and they told me) I thought $10 was a bit much, but for a trip, it's worth it. Now people complain about $10-30? I know tons of people who go to festivals and get taken for 100$ easily, and no trip for their concert. You're paying for trip insurance because there is so much bunk, and prices are high due to inflation, people should see it as being VALUED. This will increase production.

...well unfortunatly its not 1990 amymore,,..88-91 ..Sheets for $100 and singles were a dollar..heh...Those were the days.
Well im happy to pay 8-10 a hit these days "IF" its real...Cause im sure many know what its like these days ,finding it on the lot .......if its real at all...

Dude think about your complaint.....LSD ordered from the comfort of you recliner and mailed to your front door?!?!?! I think that alone is worth the price....
-
i get l on the regular for no more than 5 a hit. i would agree that the prices on sr are pretty ridiculous
-
It's coming to you in the mail, I think the slightly high prices should be expected just for the safety and security you get. Everything is cheaper in bulk too.
-
Being able to buy LSD from a well reputed vendors makes it worth paying the ~$5 premium.

20 bucks for a 6-8 hour trip? Still the cheapest thrill in town for me!
