Title: Social Security Administration
Post by: MadSeason on August 04, 2013, 02:50 am
Info about how government agencies use SSN info.

Mainly...let's say someone wanted to use anothers identity...it doesn't matter whos for this scenario...just a regular Joe's.

This someone isn't after credit....the someone just wants to get employment.  With 1/4 of the country on some sort of welfare, if this someone takes the number of someone else who gets food stamps or welfare...they will be caught immediately because those systems are connected and benefits will be denied the next month due to wages earned.  Then obviously, the jig is up.  Also, the someone knows he must change SSN's every 9 months because of tax season, but that's easier than wondering whois gonna be on welfare next month.

If an adult uses a childs SSN for work purposes, the welfare thing still happens, but I'm not sure if the Social Security Administration correlates the SSN to DOB when it comes to verifying if one is old enough to work in the US.

Can anyone come up with any way around this conundrum??
What happens if you use a dead persons number?  How long til anyone finds out?  What are the repercussions?

The more answers I get, the more questions I have.  I'm willing to pay anyone who can assist me with this problem.  Hit me with a PM.
