Title: Bitcoin deposit to Silk Question
Post by: Bikerbum on August 05, 2011, 12:20 am
I purchase my bitcoins through GetBitcoin, and send them to Walletbit and then on to Silk. I've made several transactions and they have gone through smooth as silk. (pun intended)
My question is that I just made another coin purchase from GetBitcoin but inadvertantly gave my deposit address I generated at silk as the destination for deposit by GetBitcoin. Will this transaction work this way? I was under the impression that you had to purchase, transfer to exchange, then transfer to Silk. I'm asking because I had a small amount tied up in "MyBitcoin" before it went belly up and thought I had to find another exchange which was "Walletbit". Can I just transfer bitcoin from my purchase point directly into Silk? Thanks for any clarification on this inquiry.   Bikerbum

Edit: I just realized Silk address's are only good for 12 hours and my payment for coins are by snailmail, so the address will have expired prior to the transfer. Amazing what you can do if you read stuff. thanks anyway, LMFAO
