Title: Has anyone heard from vendor BrainDamaged?

Has anyone heard from vendor Braindamaged? I hope all is well with him. I worry about his situation and if everything is alright. I had sent a message earlier in the week wondering if he'd be participating in the 4/20 sale. But the message remains unread.

I hope he's managing and getting along OK.

im wondering as well. Ive sent him a couple messages since i ordered on the 14th, and when he put up that update to his profile he told me was going to ship the day after, but he never sent me a message confirming. im not sure what's going on with him, hopefully everything is o.k.

Perhaps he'll have time this weekend to get orders out and to respond to some messages.

He seems like one of the good guys out there. Might be somewhat slow to ship as compared to other vendors who usually ship within 48 hours. Especially those who offer Priority Mail.

Since he hasn't updated his seller profile since early Tuesday, I'm thinking something may have happened to him. It could also be exam week in school. But if I recall correctly, final exams are usually in early May.

I don't know. I hope he updates his profile. He may get orders today with all the buyers looking to score which might put further pressure on him. And some of these new 4/20 sale buyers may not be as understanding and forgiving. I'd hate to see his seller rating drop because of it. Perhaps he should have gone into stealth mode for this sale weekend.  But then again, he could be gearing up to get all of his inventory sold during the week and sale weekend out on Monday/Tuesday of next week.

One thing I forgot to mention is that his seller profile reported that he has been last seen today, everyday this week. So he is logging in to Silk Road everyday this.

That's definitely a hopeful sign.

Need to correct the last post. His profile now says he's been last seen a day ago. (But up until today, it said that he was last seen today on his profile page.)

Just wanted to stop in to say he answered my message today, so it seems like all is well and he is just busy in his personal life, which is understandable.  I think he's a genuine guy and he will come through, we'll just have to see.  My package is labeled "in transit" now.

Yeah, he's had a very rough go of it this week. Very sad turn of events for him. I hope good things come his way from this point on and that this marks the lowest point with nothing but uphill for him, his daughter and his wife.

And yes, my package is also marked as in transit. Figure it should arrive before next weekend which is fine by me.

hopefully you all have better luck than me. ordered 9 days ago, he stopped answering messages after he told me he was shipping wednesday. no package and no responses from him in a week, and he made me finalize early because it was my first transaction. I understand the FE, as it was my first Tx but now im the one without BTC and as a new user people assume im the scammer... hopefully he responds to my messages soon but as of right now it looks like 300$ down the shitter

edit: just so i dont seem too impatient, i did pay for priority which means if he had indeed shipped wednesday it would have arrived friday or saturday... this is why im worried, it seems as tho he hasnt shipped and the fact he isnt answering messages is certainly not helping, especially when he logs in what seems like every day.

He got robbed and arrested last week according to his profile. So that might account for why your package didn't ship out yet. Hopefully he will ship your package today or tomorrow and you should get it by Friday.

I sure wish he would give me a little update or something.  I'm in escrow so I'm not too worried, but he changed my status to shipped right before I would be able to cancel so it makes me wonder if he did that just to buy more time or if it has actually shipped.

Well, that's possible. I ordered with Priority Mail. So if it doesn't come by Saturday, we can assume that, that is what he did.

He's going through a lot right now, but it would be nice to post some sort of update on his seller page like most vendors do. However, his listings are still up so it seems he's still be doing business.

I was gonna hit him up for a few dillies, but seen that he had not been on that day (yesterday), so I decided to wait. My normal hookup will be live again on monday, so if I can't get them before that, there is no point. I did want to buy some shit from him, though. He seems like an alright dude. Anybody the law hates that much, is bound to be a good person imo.

I hope dude keeps his head up and keeps swingin.

BTW, I noticed that people have still been leaving feedback. But that could be them finalizing late.

With him not logging on in 2 days, I hope nothing else has happened to him.

I ordered from him 7 days ago.  It took 2 days to process and 2 days to ship cause we live in the same state.  The most frustrating part is that this guy wont answer ANY message i send him.
He has product that i want, specifically the fentanyl patch.  I would order from him again immediately but I'm not confident in his commitment to The Road.  I literally have $165 bucks to spend specifically on his watson fentanyl patch but im afraid to pull the trigger.

It would be a good idea if he'd do ANYTHING.  I ordered bulk from him ($700 and he asked me to FE, but he'd rush it) 7 days ago and I still have nothing.  No communication, no package, no nothing.  Feels bad, man.  He had a good rep through feedback and forums, so I felt okay FE with him, but not anymore.

Yeah I have been checking his page daily, hoping that something might have changed then all of the sudden he goes from a 100 to a 96!  I cant say i blame you.  I considered leaving a 3/5 or a 4/5 because my whole transaction with him was very painful but in the end i figured the right thing to do was to give him the 5 because i did get my product.  I figured any problems I had with him i could bring here.

I know its a little late now, but i would highly recommend using Off The Wagon for dilaudid.  I know he doesn't have any listing for that much product but i have dealt with him 4 times for dillies and he always goes out of his way for me.  You might want to message him and see if you can work something out,  he is very fast to respond to PM's.

Well today he has no active listings. Not sure what to make of it.

Silver lining - he's going to catch up with all orders and back log. Can't handle any new business right now.
Dark cloud - he's out of the business.

I'm leaning towards silver lining even though a few good vendors have packed up and left all of a sudden. I'm in escrow so it's just a waiting game. But for those not, this is really serious and I can feel your pain.

He really needs to log in ASAP to post something (a clear message) on his seller page and that he's OK.

Thanks for the order and the nice "extra", Exotica. It arrived today.

As for Braindamaged, I'm thinking that his new legal issues are taking precedence and that it might be quite sometime before he is able to fill any orders. That, and since it wasn't said what was stolen in the robbery, it's possible that some of his SR supply was stolen.

The hope is, he's an honest guy with integrity and will fill all orders that were marked in transit. There's evidence to suggest he's an honest seller and no reason to believe he's not. But some circumstances all at once can overwhelm a person. Worse come to worse, being that I'm in escrow, I'll just past it along to resolution when it comes available. That is, unless he logs and posts something on his profile that addresses everyone's concerns. I'd like to give him more time but I'd also like to get what I ordered in a reasonable timeframe. I did after all pay for priority mail. But I don't mind a week waiting from date of order for it.

We'll see. I hope he's alright.

If one is in escrow, they have to wait for resolution to become clickable. If one FE'd, there's not much they can do but possibly freeze the account if any bitcoins are in it. But I guess a number of people would have to contact DPR before that happens.

All he has to do, is log in and start answering messages. Or at least post on the seller page an honest assessment of his personal situation and how he plans on addressing it. Some might look at that as him stringing people along. But if he has DCN's for some orders, now would be the time to message posters with those numbers if those orders were marked as in transit Sunday the 22nd.


EDIT: BTW, I just messaged SR support to see if they can lend some guidance or if they know what the situation might be since his listings were taken down but he hadn't logged in to do so. I also made mention of those who may have finalized early to lend some urgency to the situation.

EDIT2: got a reply from HRM* Dread Pirate Roberts. He states that vendor listings are automatically taken down if the vendor hasn't logged on in 3 days. Beyond that, there is no other information available. BTW, DPR's reply was really quick. Just thought I'd mention that considering I never contacted SR support before.

So, it's going to be a waiting game for the time being. Hopefully it'll be all's well that ends well.

Thanks for looking into it man, I appreciate it.  At this point I'll just be happy to not be out $700, regardless if it takes more time to get here.  Glad I'm not alone as well; the waiting game is a tough one.

Wheww, $700 huh?  Did you finalize early?  I feel you pain, I got scammed by toyotaman a couple weeks ago for around $500 or $600, I dont even remember exactly how much now and just wanna forget about it.  I FE with toyotaman, lesson learned and will never do that again.

How long before the resolve button becomes available?  And then how much time after that do they give the vendor to respond?  I have a feeling hes just not going to log in any more.  I figure I will get a 100% refund since he prob wont log in to make his case, but I just hate having money tied up this long.  It's certainly better than loosing it though.  I'm trying to stay positive though, maybe he'll log in, apologize, and get all the orders sent out.  I think that's just wishful thinking though.

On the page with the order, just hover over the resolve button and it will tell you how long until it becomes a clickable option. Then after that, figure another week before you get your money back.

Since the orders were not hedged, if bitcoin value rises by then, you might end up making a little bit. Conversely, well, you know.

If you send him a message, title it with a summary of your concern so he doesn't have to open it when he logs on. He'll just see the title and know the issue.

Incidentally, during the 2 days he didn't log on and his listings were still up, oddly enough someone ordered and finalized early according to the feedback list.

Anyway, there's a possibility he'll log on this weekend. Plus he may have gotten a flood of orders during the 4/20 sale. Heard some of the opiate vendors ran low on supply and with Braindamaged low prices, some may have thought he was participating in the sale.

NEVER - EVER - NEVER finalize early. The whole "give me money before I give you product" thing is a FUCKING SCAM. Really. If you have to do it to get past the Newbie level then do it 1 BTC at a time.

Remember, your "trusted Seller" is a fucking drug dealer. Just because he can't shoot you doesn't mean he can't fuck you...

I really feel badly for those who finalized early with him. It doesn't look good for them I have to admit. This many days with a vendor NOT logging in to at least assuage the fears of those who finalized early does not bode well. No telling what has happened to the vendor at this point. Forget about answering messages for a moment, if he couldn't take 5 minutes out to log in to at a minimum update his seller profile says something awful has happened.

For sure, he hasn't shipped. I ordered via priority mail on the 16th and nothing has showed up yet. Granted, he states that he was robbed and arrested during part of this time. But the 16th was a Monday and he had logged in everyday until Thursday then returned on a Sunday with news of his arrest and release. He had a whole 3 days to ship before being robbed and arrested. I'm just saying, something isn't right.

Anyway, I have 5 days until the resolve option becomes available.  I wish there was something that could be done about those who finalized early. Like, freeze his account and any money he hasn't transferred out yet.

Yeah I ordered from this joker on the 13th. Didn't hear a word, until 1 HOUR before I could cancel. He marked it as in transit, and said he was "getting script" that day and would mailing out that day. Great. No word since then. I don't finalize early (EVEN FOR PEOPLE WITH 100% FEEDBACK.. If anyone had any dealings with thecloser29.. I got burned by him and he too had 100%... because I finalized early.) Never the fuck again.. for reasons like this.

So was able to click resolve yesterday, just waiting for my refund..

Little concerning reading his description about his wife being in jail, then him being in jail etc... my advice if this cat comes back online is stay the fuck away. nothing but trouble surrounding him.

That's a shame. DPR might have to consider freezing his account until he can prove that he can make good on orders. There are guys out there that have finalized early. But since he hasn't logged in I don't know if that money has been transferred out yet. DPR could be a hero here and act quickly by freezing the account temporarily. Sorting out the escrow orders and then dividing what's left in a pro rata manner to those who finalized early.

In any event, I hope you get your refund soon. I heard it can take a week. Hope it is sooner for you.

And yeah, it's troubling that he has all these issue with the law. That and having people's addresses...


I contacted SR support to intervene and look into this matter. There is a real possibility that SR support can save people from losses who finalized early and perhaps let those of us in escrow out sooner rather than later.

Braindamaged has had his account suspended by SR support.

There may be hope that some who finalized early may recoup some losses. I would contact SR support to make a claim. Include a link to your order in your correspondence. It might help speed things along.

I figured they would just automatically refund the money since they deleted his account, but I guess not.  I sent SR support a message with the tx number though so hopefully it won't take them long to give me a refund.

Sr support isn't as active on the weekends as they are during the weekdays.

I sincerely hope they refund the bitcoins ASAP so that people(myself included) can order early in the week for an end of week delivery. But I don't know how it all works as this is the first time I've had an issue here on SR. Every other vendor I dealt with were great in all aspects.

Having a policy of staying in escrow paid off. But I hope that those who did finalize early are able to recoup something.

SR support got back to me and told me they can't do anything until I go into resolution, which is still 2 days away.  Sucks that they have taken down his listings and suspended his account, but still won't do anything about it for me.  Oh well, just more of a waiting game.

Same here. Resolution won't become active until tomorrow. And then I guess it will be a few days to a week before you see your money back into your account. It could be quicker since there's nothing to check on. The guy skipped out. So there's nothing to dispute. And hopefully BTC value remains stable so there won't be much of a loss in value.

Hey Ben, this is a bit off topic, but I know you're around the forums a lot so you may know.  Awhile back I remember reading somewhere that there is a backup way to get your btcs out of your account if something ever happens to SR.  Did you ever read that and do you remember how?  With all this CISPA stuff going on I'd like to know how to access the backup if something did happen.  I tried searching, but couldn't find anything.

I second this. I have used Off the Wagon now successfully for a good amount of orders... he is always fast, responsive, good shipping/packing, etc. He is out right now, but when he has Dilaudid in stock he is my preferred vendor. I have also used PapaSmurf1 successfully as well, FYI.

Good question. I honestly don't know. As I remember it, it was something that would pop up in the event that SR got taken down.

So I'm now in resolutions with Braindamaged. Unfortunately it looks like yet another five days to go before I get my funds returned. I asked that the process be speed up considering BrainDamaged situation, his account suspension and that he obviously didn't ship anything out.

This is the first time I ever had to use resolutions. And that's after transacting over 50 orders. Stay tuned...


BTW, thanks for the recommendation for Off The Wagon. I'll be checking him out once I get my loot back.

Very unfortunate set of circumstances this guy has gone through. But he was gracious enough to cancel my order and refund my BTC. And he did it very fast after asking him to. He's a good guy with very bad luck. I hope he sorts things out and gets back on his feet.

edit: I take it back. finally got a message from him today. he says when he was in jail he had a friend logging in for him. however he hasnt sent back my btc, he says hes going to ship my package tomorrow. We will see. as of right now i'm just happy to see a message from him, and im going to give him the benefit of the doubt because if he was scamming me why the fuck would he bother messaging me at this point.
