As an internationally known bitcoin mogul, I get all my price information right from the source.
-
I have to send an email to get an exact price, it's just nice to get a ruff idea whats happening in real time.
Wonder if there are certain times of the day when it drops to its lowest. I don't know how it works.

Nice! I've never seen this before. Great link! Most of the time though, for my purposes, I need to be looking at a full chart and for that I hit up mtgoxlive.com. But this is definitely bookmarked.
Thanks!

Handy, although the drop-down menu to change the currency from USD to something else doesn't work for me somehow (using google chrome). I usually use http://bitcoincharts.com, which takes a little bit of effort to understand but the charts give you a better perspective on whether BTC prices are on the rise or not.
So for example: fluctuations in BTC price in USD based on mtgox: http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/mtgoxUSD#rg1ztgMzm1g10za2gTMAzm2g25zv

i have a app for my iphone, its accurate vs mtgox. I simply browse for the item i want: add the price of the item plus shipping, multiply that by the bitcoin price from the app, take the total from that and add the 3.99% bitinstant fee, another 3.95 for the cash deposit. throw in an extra $20 to cover any fluctuations in the price to cover the time it takes to drive into town and pay for it and have the bitcoins sent to my address. I usually keep only an extra coin in my account at all times doing it this way.

great tips, thanks

Do I need another way?
