NSNS profile page is gone as if the vendor account has been disabled, anyone know what's happened?
-
Was just thinking the same thing - I placed an order Monday night & said I'd FE for the standard 0.3g of skunk he throws in when you do this, he's usually really prompt with replies & processing orders so was surprised when the order still wasn't processed yesterday. The vendor account was still up last time I logged in to check yesterday (~2pm).
Anyone know how we get our coins back (the 'cancel' option is still greyed out on my order)?
-
Hey guy's
I'm havin the same problem but what's confused me is he's s top vendor for UK skunk dispatch. I only had one hick up n that was just royal mail taking the piss coz order was tracked n said sorting office for 5days. I actually ordered sum UK cheese Monday night n expected to see it in transit the following day but it wasnt so I jus sent him A message sayin that I'll finalize early when I see the order is on its way n I also asked for a price on a quarter ounce of his cotton candy kush. I sent him the message last night around 9ish & his profile was up then but when I logged in today the profile page was gone and my order still not in transit.I'm not quite sure why he'd be disabled as he's quick with a response and he always pulls through on deliveries.
Surely he will be back I've never seen any comments say they've been scammed by him. I'm jus bit gutted I can't smoke that sticky icky I wanted lol
-
Quite concerned myself, never had an order not arrive by NSNS and he is usually extremely friendly and fast with his communication.
Have had a few grams in processing since Monday morning, and an unread message to him from Sunday night. =/
Hoping he is going to be back and it's not anything serious - wish we could get some information on what is occurring and when/if he will be coming back.
Has anyone tried emailing him asking for information?

I also ordered from NSNS - his vendor page is still disabled as a I type but he has just marked my order despatched and has PM'd to confirm and apologise for late despatch.
Trusted vendor since he started on SR, with > 10 transactions.
-
Ok, this is strange. I ordered from NSNS yesterday before his listings disappeared. He has sent me a message tonight apologising for not dispatching yet. However, in the same message he asked me to FE even though before his page went offline it said that he did not require new buyers (I have 4 transactions) to FE. I'm slightly suspicious, am I just being paranoid?

Funnily enough, NSNS used to ask me to FE until I had a few successful order with him. Since then I haven't been asked to FE and he hasn't asked me to FE this time either.
If you feel uncomfortable doing so then I guess you could voice your concerns politely to him and I'm sure he would understand. :)

That is reassuring. If he'd asked me without his page going offline then I would have done it without hesitation. I'll message him.

I appreciate as a noob to the forums (and SR in general) that this wont carry much weight, but. From what I've been told by the man himself NSNS has got some stuff going on right now ('nothing' remotely SR related) and it seems he feels the need to suspend operations for a bit whilst it's dealt with, that said he is (at least in my case) sorting out those people who are already waiting on orders, could be that you'll just get a refund if he cant complete yours.
Now it may well be the case that the account has been hacked or NSNS has finally gone rouge, it did take him some time to get back to me and as a noob he might just have wanted me to FE before he skedaddles, but assuming he 'is' telling the truth his current circumstances could well result in late replies, late post outs and a need to not have anyone else make an order that cannot be fulfilled at the moment due to time constraints.
I will update with info on if my order did/didn't come by the end of the week (I'm quite hopeful at this stage).

He said the same to me. If he was going to go rogue (or even if he'd been hacked) then I would have thought it might make more sense to keep his listings up in order to steal more than a few Bitcoins. I'm new as well so this is just a complete guess but I'm assuming he's genuine.
-
I was more worried he might have been busted than him going rogue, he's been very reliable the few times I've placed orders with him. It sounds like other people have had contact though, but if he is just on vacation it probably would have been better to put the page in stealth mode and take down the listings temporarily instead of disabling the account.
-
Hello,
I unfortunately haven't had the time to be an active poster on the forums, but I've been a member for a while (see stats in sig) so this is my view:
I contacted No Sticks No Seeds to thank him for his past service as a reliable vendor and to ask why his account has been disabled. He too told me, as others, about personal issues he is currently having. But he has also said that SR have suspended his account due to a customer complaint - and it would seem he doesn't really have any time to resolve this issue at present. But it seems he does wish to continue trading.
I do not currently have an outstanding order, but NSNS has said to many other people that all orders will be fulfilled; and I for one believe him. I have had many successful transactions with NSNS and he is one of my most trusted vendors. His prices may be a bit high, but his massive menu of top class bud is simply unbeatable.
Judging by what he has said to me and others, his current circumstances, and the fact that he is still being co-operative with customers that have outstanding orders in spite of the fact that his vendor account is offline and so has no real obligations to do so: I believe it is very highly unlikely that NSNS has gone rogue.
I have sent SR Support a message asking for information and informing them of my thoughts regarding the reliability of this vendor. NSNS changed the UK domestic high grade weed market on the road, and I would love to see him back. For this reason, I would like to urge anyone who has had any successful experiences with this vendor to inform SR Support so we can help get NSNS through this difficult time. Once people with outstanding orders begin to receive their packages I think we will probably have confirmation that NSNS is genuine.
I may seem a bit naive for automatically taking the side of the vendor, and maybe I'm wrong. But the quality of this vendor's products, service, domestic delivery, communications etc jumps out at me as being one of the best on the road (out of all that I have experienced) and so that is why I have taken this stand point.
Thanks for reading,
OTW2.

Evening all,
In the same boat as others in this thread - a new buyer, with an order in progress and now receiver of "the message". I suppose I went to NSNS in the first instance because it was said he was THE guy to go to, when asked on here...
With all the trust and recommendation, my first order was also a big one, and I've now been asked to FE... which I was originally happy to do before the delay, disappearance, and dubious return - now I'm afraid I could lose substantial bitcoins... as of some note, the previously carefully thought-out/written/explained NSNS seller page and listings, don't quite match the articulation (or lack therof) now found in "the message" - Maybe I'm just looking into things too much?
I would love to hear if existing buyers from NSNS are also being asked to FE at this time, when they weren't/haven't before? - It would put my mind at ease, or at least let me know not to expect any letters any more.
However that said, nothing ventured; nothing gained: so I'm going to FE now anyway in the hopes it's all kosher.
Wish me luck! I'll report back on (hopeful) receipt of my order.
-
anything to with the report a vendor button i wonder? hope everything gets sorted, he was expensive but always good for when you wanted to treat yourself to a nice bit of hash you can't get locally.
-
Hi Minestrone,
I have had many communications with NSNS in the past and I do find that he has a somewhat "chilled out" method of writing that doesn't match his vendor page. I haven't found this to have changed recently and so this has lead me to believe that he is, at the very least, the same person.
Personally I never like to FE on any order as it takes away the whole point of having an escrow system in the first place. But I can appreciate NSNS being scared that, if his vendor page has been disabled, he may not receive funds: Obviously he is used to sending out the packages and only receiving the BTC once confirmed by the buyer, but given the current circumstances I can see why he might be a bit skeptical of sending out orders that haven't been confirmed.
That said, I still don't like the idea of FE'ing at all and I would be cautious none the less.
Hopefully we will be hearing good news from you soon Minestrone.
Regards,
OTW2.

no you shouldnt fe for this guy if his account is disabled. why the fuck would you do that? obviously it was disabled for a reason. YOU SAY FE I SAY FU.
good way to lose your money to selective scammers. here is a general idea of how it goes down (i am NOT saying NSNS is a scammer at all!)
User- i never got my order and the vendor is being shady, what gives?
Vendor- i shipped it, you're a new user and you're just trying to scam me. i am established why would i scam? you're the scammer!
the user loses his money and everyone sides with the vendor because the user is new. vendor continues vending and user is left with nothing.
Edit: somebody on the last page said it was disabled due to a customer complaint? i for one have never heard of a vendor getting shut down because of a single customer complaint.. has anyone else? hope you guys didnt lose your money.

Does anyone have any updates on this situation?
-
Evening.
Update on my personal situation is as follows: Have had several communiques with NSNS since my last post, almost all of which have been after I FE'd... So if he really is duping me, then he's going above and beyond the neccessary - he has my bitcoins now after-all!
He reassures me I should have my product by Saturday... so will report back Monday if there's no sign of it yet - or sooner if it indeed comes.
I've come to terms with potentially losing my BTC, so just going to sit and wait patiently and see what happens. Sorry, I know that's not very reassuring or useful, but hey!

Sounds like my order should be with me before/over the weekend depending on RM.
NSNS has kept up contact, still seems very apologetic and eager to get things sorted, but we'll just have to wait and see at this point.
Unlikely he'd keep up continuous contact with everyone so consistently if he was planning on disappearing.
Will update on delivery.
-
I am still waiting on an order, should have been here today or yesterday.
NSNS has been in touch to let me know he has been having other non-SR based issues.
All I can do is assume he is being genuine and wait it out until after the weekend.
I have not FE'd and he has never asked me to either in any of his recent communications.
It is worrying but all I can do is wait for the time being.
Why would he be keeping up communication with people who have already FE'd?
Why has he put no pressure on me to FE?
I am not so sure what to do if the package does not come. I suppose just wait until an appropriate amount of time has passed and then go through the official process to try and reclaim the bitcoins.
Perhaps he has been busted and LE took over his account? But SR admin are still allowing his messages?
This would be more a concern to me than being scammed. I would rather loose a few bitcoins than have my details in LE's hands.
-
Through SR Support I have found that No Sticks No Seeds is working with them to rectify an issue which will hopefully lead to his vendor account being back on the Road.
So it would appear he has not been busted, and is probably trying to keep his business going as normal until everything is fixed/sorted.
Looking forward to getting my order from him also, and no FE was asked.
-
I think those/most of us that FE'd did/had to do so because we were new to the road, granted all these issues made me concerned but i had expected to FE anyway given my lack of feedback etc.
-
I placed an order with him on Wednesday and he said he dispatched it yesterday. I am not in the UK so should have it Monday. Will let you guys know if I get it. I finalized early too.

This is good news, I'm expecting mine early next week. I had to FE due to being new; however, the amount was small.
-
Made a small order with NSNS on Jan 3rd. It arrived today (UK) so I can confirm orders are still being shipped out.
-
Hello,
I can confirm that NSNS is currently talking with SR Support to try and resolve some issues.
NSNS fully intends to keep his operation going, however whether or not he will be staying on SR has yet to be decided.
Due to him wishing to keep up his business it is very unlikely that he will be scamming anyone as it would only serve to tarnish his reputation and future custom. After some lengthy discussions NSNS has fully gained my trust. He is currently also working through some difficult personal issues which is likely serving to drag out the problems with SR.
Personally I think that it is great news that he intends to keep up his operation, as I have yet to find a vendor that beats him on quality or communication. It would, none the less, be a great shame if NSNS and SR can't work through these issues: However if they cant, then SR's competitor(s) may well benefit. Competition is always healthy and ultimately good for the consumer; whatever happens I believe he will be back soon one way or another - hopefully within SR.
Regards,
OTW2.

His vendor page and a few listings are back up, some more recent feedback also.
Haven't had anything myself yet, but it seems deliveries are getting through and hes staying on SR for now.
-
has anyone received their orders yet?
just strange that his profile claims delivery within 2 days, and despite him sending it last week and should have arrived thur/fr there is still nothing the following monday.
-
Nothing for me, no response from him so far when i asked if any sent at similar period as mine had got through yet, but that was only a few hours ago.
My placeholder FE feedback has only just came up on his page, which could be a sign that packages only went out today? but might also be the standard time or a result of his account going in and out of suspension, sadly I'm not experienced enough to know.
(Personally more concerned about police than losing cash)

Same boat here, just have to wait and see. Will have to message vendor. If nothing still in 6 days time then hit resolve and go through resolution process.
Hopefully it will come but there seems to be a few people who were told that it was posted on a certain date and still are waiting.
NSNS might have posted it today and it will come on Tuesday or Wednesday maybe.
-
He told me last Wednesday that he was posting mine first thing Thursday morning. I should have therefore received mine today. Got nothing Yet!
-
I am having the exact same problem as you guys. I purchased some things of him at the start of last week and NSNS told me that he had posted the goods but the next day telling me he had yet to post them! He told me I would definitely get the on Tuesday the last time he replied (I have sent his 4 messages with no reply at the minute) but I have not received anything yet so I shall let everyone know what happens tomorrow. I also had to FE because it was my first purchase. Could everyone keep me updated?
-
he said similer to me said it was posted on wed 9th should have had it on thu/friday latest then he said saterday then he said ull have it by tuesday i just dont understand how a vendor with so many transactions can do this to his customers , i mean losing the money is pissing of but its a security issue also as he has marked everything as shipped he must be storing are adderesses on his computer or somthing if he isnt posting when he says he is!!!even if my order does show up on tuesday or anyday i will not be doing any sort off business with NSNS ,
will update in a few hours after the post has been
-
His personal issues aside, this may well be my first and last attempt at a SR transaction all together.
When I'm paying a long standing dealer (online or not) £200+ for under 10 grams of weed then i expect him to have support systems in place to cover him if things get out of hand.
I can understand delays when events happen that you haven't anticipated or prepared for, but as a senior/trusted vendor if you not even going to tell me the truth so that i know where i stand (and that i haven't been pigged in some way) then how the hell am i supposed to trust any of the other vendors?
I appreciate that the very nature of a market like SR leaves us all open to some level of risk and disappointment, just sad i seem to be getting let down on my very first attempt.....
-
update nothing has came through today tuesday as nsns had promised
dick.
-
No goods today (nsns promised I would receive them today). NSNS is full of empty promises as he said numerous times i would get the package but seems he has not even posted it! Does this mean I have lost my bitcoins?! Someone please help me out as this was my first transaction, majorly pissed off
-
well if you have finilized you will not get any refund but if not once the resolve option is there you can sort it out with sr staff and will get somthing back
somthing needs to be done about this though i have contacted sr support no reply as off yet though,

If like me you had to FE as a new buyer then yes, it looks like we'll be losing out completely.
I've also had nothing through the post and my order went in over a week ago at this stage. Mainland UK orders should/would have come in days ago.
He hasn't logged on in 3days at this point also, so unless all his packages were poorly put together/already under surveillance and therefore intercepted by LE (whilst he's off at a funeral...?), then we have almost certainly been scammed by a vendor cashing out.
Which is, shit frankly, especially given his listings and vendor page were put back up only a few days ago meaning even more people may be getting ripped off/given false hope as we type...
Could be a shitstorm of unfortunate circumstances instead, but that seems unlikely.
-
Same situation, 'shipped' Wednesday, promised Thur-Friday. Mail replied saying it would be here Tuesday (today) at latest. I didn't FE though, so at least that's something.
Shame really.
-
I'm currently in the same situation here, ordered Monday last week, by Wednesday/Thursday NSNS stated that my order was in the mail and I presumed it would be with me by the latest Monday.
Currently the mail has been and it's Tuesday with nothing showing =/ getting a wee bit concerned as I've been lucky to have great buyer stats and worried that by going through the resolution centre - when the time comes, that my stats will take a hit leading to vendors asking for FE's.
Any ideas what we should be doing?

Don't be put off SR completly. Try ordering from a smaller vendor, and a smaller amount (especially if it's your first order from the road). I've only ever had problems/issues with the 'top' vendors, probably due to the vast quantities of orders they have to process.

You've just been very unlucky, what's going on here isn't that common. There have been some infamous cases of trusted sellers turning scammers here once in a while, like what happened with Tony76 or Vlad. I would recommend if you change your mind about giving up on SR, that you perhaps try ordering from DreamWeaver, GreenGiant or jesusofrave. They are all great domestic sellers who currently have listings up and all have very good packaging, so you have no need to worry about non-arrival. JOR has a very nice selection of hashes and other drugs besides bud. There are of course so many other great UK vendors too, but those vendors have listings up out of all the ones I just checked. Outside of the UK, budsupplies is a very reliable vendor, and also OrganicBuds (new crop coming soon, great prices because the orders are always significantly overweight) and TheMonk. You could try vendors in Canada or the US as well who ship to the UK if you want really good prices and quality but don't mind waiting longer.
-
Don't be put off man. Though £100 is allot to loose, if you have to FE for being new then only order like £20 worth at a time until you no longer have to FE. Then maybe get some larger orders in.
I've had a good few orders worth about from £30 to £65 each come through with success from other vendors.
nsns was good for me at 1st because there was single orders that you could buy for £15 to £25 each to get buyer stats up.
They always came through for me. But I soon realised that if I wanted better value for money I would have to look elsewhere.
Trava seems good and did not need FE, I would happily purchase £100 orders from him.
Mrcronk did require FE I think but a £40 order came through fast and his packaging was the beast I have seen so far.
Jesus of rave did not need FE. His orders all came through fine too, though I hope if I were to order an ounce that it would be packed appropriately.
I need to give some more vendors a try really but only have so much money to spend :)
I recently bough from nsns again as he had about 4 reasonably priced listings for a change and so though I'll give him another shot. Looks like I might have made a mistake.
His profile page claims that he is based "all over the UK" and "We have had 100% success rate no matter what is happening in the world".
-
Unlucky or not, the other domestic vendors have far smaller selections and./or strains i have little interest in, but for similar prices.
Under 10grams was an exceptionally small amount for me to bother ordering but i did so to get a feel for the market with, what all evidence at the time suggested, was a long term trusted vendor.
If a large scale seller with considerable feedback cannot be trusted then I'm certainly not going to order higher amounts from an even more unknown source.
My lack of feedback would also probably mean FEing and that will not happen again, at all, ever, as far as I'm concerned.
I am also not prepared to pay for several ebooks i could download for myself for the cost of 6 seconds a piece elsewhere as this is a idiotic and needless means of establishing good intent (is this not what the escrow system is for? would a 'buyer scammer' not just wait to scam until the larger orders?...)
I'm not trying to sound pissy at you guys because i do appreciated the input & info from more experienced users.
But between this piss poor experience, the added stress of my package potentially turning up with LE in tow and now not having the means to acquire the green i need not to spend the rest of the month feeling like my body is comprised of ninety percent aching shit with my mind not far behind, i just cant see the point in bothering again...

Here are some messages he sent people over the last few days, they come across like a typical nigerian scammer due to wording and structure of message, you know the types you get sent to mail boxes, hi, i am from ghana, i live with my grandmother as my parents were killed in car crash etc...

This is what i thought at first, i considered that his account might have been sold as has happened in the past, but people who have been receiving orders off him for some time seemed to think this was just the lackadaisical way he writes.
It was my conclusion that his messages are part mass copy and past, part syntax tracking avoidance attempt and/or a result of poor education/no formal education in English as a written language (could perhaps be foreign with no need to communicate in English much outside of SR).

Given the amount of money i have lost out on this time i would have to order a far grater amount the next to cover my losses (and restock my supply).

Know what you mean. A high profile vendor of this standing fucking up really looks bad for the whole of SilkRoad.
It would have been better to hedge your bets and order £100 split over a few vendors to avoid having all eggs in one basket. But hindsight is easier to see after the fact.
You also probably preferred to receive just one package in the mail all at once rather than an assortment of dodgy letters on different days.
I think I will in future be very careful about choosing vendors who FE.
Definitely not more than £30 if I need to FE, which unfortunately rules out mrcronk and dispater (though I have been pleased with these two in my previous orders and had intended to order again).
SilkRoad admin needs to look close at these situations and maybe crack down on vendors who insist on FE for buyers with good stats.
Buyers maybe need to get more involved with giving feedback on their experiences on the vendor review threads as well. And the vendors should visit their own review threads from time to time to answer questions, show genuine interest and put peoples minds at rest. A vendor who takes interest in the forums seems to be a good sign but is obviously a little time consuming for them.
edit:
Actually I was wrong. As someone has pointed out mrcronk seems happy (for uk orders at least) as long as you to finalize within 48 of it being shipped (by which time you should have it).

So with this message what are we suppost to believe?
Message 1 where he claims the delay is due to laptop charger or a death. Two completely different excuses
its like a Harry Hill sketch , which one is better, the Laptop Charger or the family death...there is only one way to find out Fiiiiiiiiiight!!!!

Well at least he can only use the second excuse once now.
He confirmed that mine was posted last Wednesday and it has not arrived.
Even if he said that I would have to wait a week before it was posted on such and such a date I would have understood given his personal circumstances. As long as he is being honest about things.
Now it has been over a week and I'm still hanging.
Don't know what to think apart from it being very bad form to play with peoples emotions using an excuse of this nature.
Maybe he is telling the truth and most of his packages are being intercepted?
This would be possible as they all have the same return address on them.
The return address did not change when I was last receiving orders from nsns, maybe it has now? (pm me one random line of the return address if you have received in last few weeks and I will confirm publicly if it's the same one as used a few months back)
I do not want to give away any details here but the return address looked at first glance like a fake address but was in fact a real location.
If he is still using that address then it would be possible to tell exactly which packages are nsns from a quick look. If they are hand sorted by the post office then it would be very easy to pull out these packages for further scrutiny. Maybe it is a police operation in conjunction with the post office?
Even if they are machine sorted and the sorting machine struggles with the character recognition then a human operator is sent an image to manually type the address. When hand sorting or assisting a machine sorter it is easy to look for certain signs and flag that item.

This leaves us to wonder if addresses are now marked by LE, I'm guessing this is a little over dramatic, but still an unpleasant possibility, not sure how much trouble id be in for such a relatively small amount.
Even if this turns to nothing over coming days, it's still incredibly poor timing (for all of us).
-
Well I did not receive anything today and Silk Road support said this, "He hasn't logged in since I re-activated his account, so I'm not even sure if he knows his account is back yet. Hopefully he gets back on soon, but as of right now I have no idea what's going on with him. Unfortunately, because you finalized early, I won't be able to get you a refund either.
~SR Support"
So do you guys reckon we have definitely lost our Bit coins?
-
So do you guys reckon we have definitely lost our Bit coins?
That seems to be likely. I have a feeling that we've all been scammed.
In regards to the SR support message; he was still using his account to send messages whilst his page was disabled. He's no longer replying to anyone.

I think (hope) that this is not the case.
Think I was maybe being a little over-paranoid
Too much coincidence for all the excuse emails. He knew in advance that people were not going to get their parcels.
Unless nsns has been busted and infiltrated. Which would be quite easy to do if he always sent packages from the same place.
This would mean that nsns is now LE and is harvesting addresses to flag.
Just checked his listings and they have all been sold. So maybe he is really pushed for time and is limiting the amount of work he takes on at present. He was last seen 3 days ago so his listings must have sold out rather than him taking them down (unless SR admin pulled them).
Don't know, but will keep an open mind to all possibilities.

I'm actually hoping I've been scammed, as opposed to having my address blacklisted. Do you think LE would purposely send messages with extremely poor grammar?

I don't know what is going on to be honest but I am sure time will tell

I am still waiting on my package ordered last week. Should have been here yesterday. I will be reporting him to SR. I would not be FE'ing any more with this guy if anyone thinking of buying is reading this. Just my luck! I haven't been on the site in a few months and the day i decide to get some weed a Trusted Seller goes Rogue. :(
-
I'm still waiting on my order - fortunately didn't FE.
I can confirm that is the way NSNS writes - although it does appear from this thread that he is no longer trustworthy. This is a pity, his weed was very good quality.

Argghhh.
Ordered 110GBP worth of bud Monday the 7th... Still no sign of anything today, despite promises of delivery last week. Had to FE as a new buyer. /sigh
The last 8 pages of NSNS's SR profile are FE's... (80ish transactions) I sure hope we aren't all getting ripped off!
-
so happy i did not FE early and got SR to resolve, received 100% refund. I was quite surprised as I thought (just based on what i have read cause i am a newbie to SR) I would receive only 50% back(!?).
thanks to previous posters that mentioned other uk vendors was not going to try again, but i feel more confident now and will.
-
Thats good lass - thought that SR would take 'our side' as the volume of complaints indicates he isn't fulfilling his orders.
Gutted for anyone that FE'd - happened to me when UKPharm went rogue.
Wish there was a way to flag on the NSNS page to stop buyers finalising early.

This pattern is exactly what happened with pureogkush.
It's a shame as he was a very good vendor. But at the end of the day he is a drug dealer and they are all dodgy fuckers
-
mother fucker!! my first order of SR and the fucker goes rogue!! ordered 6th jan expecting next day delivery, 10 days later and nothing!! fed me some shit about his dad too. what a wanker!! no one has anywhere near the variety he had on offer ..
-
As long as i don't get a plod knocking at my door in the next few days then I've made my peace with losing out.
Would the more experienced folks say were out of the woods in that respect yet? Has it been enough time now that if LE were coming we'd have already had them?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So i see now he has logged in today and put a fuck load of listings back up.
But my last message to him hasn't even been read yet, not sure whats going on tbh, why are the admins letting him put more shit up if seemingly almost 100% of his latest orders have not been fulfilled?
No update on his vendor page newsfeed either.
-
Guys he replied to me today saying this, "sorry about this again if you need me shout me. sorry i let you down.

Hello All,
In the same boat as the rest of you. Order placed 07/01, processing for 2 days, messages sent and replied to about his situation which was fair enough and had a lot of sympathy for the guy, then the order was put in transit on 09/01 with a promise of a swift delivery which I thought was a bonus at the time considering, as God knows how I'd be in his situation.
Since then nothing delivered and really it would be here by now if it had been posted. I didn't have to FE thankfully but even so it's money tied up and I don't want to have to ruin my clean stats over this if it goes to resolution.
Just noticed all the listings back up and more annoyingly that the strain I chose is now nearly 1BC cheaper!! Very confused as to what is going on too..have messaged him again will update as and when..

Just checked back into this thread to see what other people's situations are. I had a small order marked as shipped last Wed night, so should have arrived Monday absolute latest but hasn't arrived yet. Luckily I've never been scammed before & recently started to avoid vendors who require FE, so I'm not sure of the process but I would imagine SR support will be very keen to cooperate with everyone who has not FE'd, placed orders in the last week or two but not received them as it is incidents like this which (understandably) put people off. They'll want to come down hard on vendors that fuck up like this as a warning to other & an attempt to give buyers some confidence that issues like this can be corrected.
I can also confirm that this is usual writing, syntax & general comms style from several previous orders & it does seem that he copy-pastes a lot of his messages as the wording is always similar. His vendor page says that he has logged in today (first time in about 4 days I think?) & all his listings are back up at time of writing. There's also 3 bits of feedback posted within the last 12hrs, two of which describe receiving goods, though it is of course possible to manipulate buyer feedback. Since he doesn't do bulk, it'd be a pretty shit scam though there is the chance he could have just decided to quit SR for good & just net himself a few extra hundred£ before he goes.
It is very tempting to spazz out at this point & think we're all getting scammed &/or busted, I wouldn't get properly worried unless it's not resolved by next week though. He could have genuine real-life issues that have disrupted his business, he could have just fucked up sending a large volume of orders & is doing what he can to avoid having to re-ship / refund them, he could attempting a scam, he could have been busted by LE. If it is LE though I still wouldn't be all that concerned. There are no guaranteed as we've all purchased contraband, but it's not as if they'll be desperate to put in the man-hours needed to prosecute a UK-wide network of people buying less than 1/8th of weed for their own personal use along with the mid-level dealer who sold it to them, like they're busting a child-porn ring!
I think the main issue is the breakdown in comms & the fact that once an item is marked shipped by the vendor your address details disappear from the SR system, so even if your package arrive but didn't actually get shipped till days after he said it was that means he's either storing address details & usernames offline on his computer or has a stack of labeled packages that he's been unable to send yet sitting around somewhere, both of which are unacceptable.
If your package eventually arrives, best thing is to not open it for a few days - police will want to be round before you've got a chance to smoke it all if they really are going to bust you. If you had it sent to a fake name / name of a previous occupant then you score out the address & write "NOT AT THIS ADDRESS, RETURN TO SENDER". If they do come round (>99% sure they wont) then just deny all knowledge & don't incriminate yourself, regardless of what they say (especially if they say they know you've done something).
This, unfortunately, is the nature of doing business via an online black market. FEing is not really much different to walking up to a street dealer & them telling you to give them the money now & come back tomorrow for the gear, or messaging someone over the forums & buying completely outside escrow. It is stressed rather strongly that one shouldn't ever do this, but since the only thing vendors have going for them is their rep it can not seem like a risk at all (especially to a new buyer) because "why would they risk it, just for a few BTC?" particularly if you feel you've found a good deal or something noone else is selling. The only way to prevent vendors from requiring FE is to not buy from them & tell them that the reason they've lost your custom is because of their FE policy - the invisible hand of the market will eventually do the rest!
Even if this does turn out to simply be a one-off monumental fuck-up on NSNS' part, it might be worthwhile for it be included in some sort of compilation of case studies of why you should never, ever FE? As far as I'm aware this doesn't exist but would need input from veteran users who have seen a few, I'm sure there's a good record of similar experiences spread throughout these forums. There's been a growing resistance to vendors requiring FE by default recently & a resource like this would probably help the cause.
PS slightly off-topic but someone mentioned Mr Cronk requires FE, if you read all of his T&Cs in full he actually doesn't - there's a line saying he changed his policy to everyone FEing, but then later say he's happy for you to finalise within 48hrs of him marking it as shipped. Something along these lines is probably the best compromise - that, SR making it impossible to finalise within 2 days of an item being marked shipped, or using recorded delivery till new buyers get their stats up, which not many people would be comfortable with.
-
So I've also had an update from NSNS that leaves me somewhat more confident that we wont have any LE troubles at least.
He seems to think it'll be with me either today or tomorrow with some extras to make up for the delay.
Said to him that I'd update everyone hear with what happens so that we know where we stand.
This has all gota be shit to come home to if he really was off sorting out the aforementioned family sadness.

Have not received the good today either, just keeping you guys updated

Nothing has arrived yet for me either
I received this message from him:
hey brother, i have not gone no where, i am right here brother. sorry for the late reply issue. i was sorting out my dad funeral, so sorry i could attend to your urgent matter. , I am always here ready when you need me.
I am still watting for you to Fe brother, when you done so please let me know.
Greets; No Sticks No Seeds
he seems to be demanding people FE even though we do not have our orders. It still seems extremely suspect. Despite his page saying fe is not required only a bonus!
-
I don't have an outstanding order from NSNS but it is worrying that he's allowed to carry on selling with all this going on.
Everybody who has an outstanding order should be reporting him, so the admins know the full extent of this. You can always let them know if the order does come through. Just don't think it's right that he's being allowed to take new orders when it could easily be a scam and he's onto phase 2 (not saying that is the case but surely it should be safety first).
-
This has played out like a typical 'cut and run' scam.
SR would not suspend an account without serious reason for concern, so its suggests that something dodgy was going on. I could speculate as to what happened but the simplest explanation is usually right: Scam
I notice he was offering bonuses for ppl who FE which is another warning sign for me.
I refuse to buy from any vendor that demands FE, totally goes against the whole principal of SR. The SR escrow system is there to protect us, without it there's really no benefit in using SR at all.
FE is still an important thing, vendors must have the option for FE for low or suspect stats to protect themselves, so its a bummer for new users who are open to be exploited, but a necessary evil.
New users should start small and build up a good reputation before getting into large orders.
I'll be watching closely as they seemed a good vendor and i made an order right before his profile was blocked, so cancelled after 3 days, so i was lucky.
Those who did FE, I really hope you get your stuff, but please don't hold your breath. :(

I have not received in today's mail either.
Looks like his listings are back up.
Looking at feedback, he is either high volume or fake feedback.
150 odd pages going back 2 months. About 10 items per page makes 1500 orders. That's about 375 orders per week!
So even if he scammed only a weeks worth of customers that is like £7000 to £10000 of fraud. Nice retirement pot if he has went rouge.
On the other hand, it's also alot of business to lose. Would he not have been better off just selling his account for a similar amount?
This high volume might cause problems if he has to take a week off working here. But that means that he should have taken down his listings and just cancelled orders or something.
Even now if he is back in business he should not be taking any new orders until all his old ones have been sent and current problems rectified. And if he is asking people to FE who have been waiting on orders all this time, that is a joke.
I think I will just wait for the time to resolve and try to get my coins back.
Don't really know if I should pm him as I cannot be bothered with being asked to FE or wait for a delivery which doesn't happen. I would rather just have my order cancelled. Maybe pm him asking to cancel the order from his end before it reached the resolution time, (don't know if this is possible as it is already marked as shipped for the last 11 days).
Cannot believe he has all 70 of his items listed back up without sorting all his previous customers orders out. Though every extra week his listings are up taking those FE's is another 5 grand or so for free.

totally agree....there is something so fishy about all this, and to put listings back up when so many of us in same boat and non receipt of orders.
He should be on here defending and explaining himself but he is not and that does not look good either.
support will not cancel order or do anything as they tell you to wait and click resolve when it appears, they claim its for both ours and sellers protection....all this despite so many complaints on here.
support really needs to suspend his profile in meantime until the current situation is resolved.
I suggest everyone here clicks report vendor on his page so support is aware of this as sening a pm to support just gets a standard reply back. The more complaints support get the better. That way it shows its not just one buyer trying a scam, its not as if all us buyers have clubbed together and arranged to scam the seller. its so obvious something seriously has gone wrong at the sellers end. I for one dont believe the family issue. If it was that bad his account would not have been suspended, then he comes back sells some more then vanishes again and then comes back with all his listings back
he has so many listings for so many things it makes a coffeeshop in amsterdam look tame in comparison. Makes you wonder if half of these listings really exist?.
-
Reminds me a bit of the vendor UKpharm, they were one of the biggest weed vendors in the UK and done a runner.
-
I think part of the ridiculous feedback is he only dose 1grams, which makes many/any orders seem massive, and multiple, when actually its just the relatively high prices (for admittedly hard to source strains) and number of orders you need to put through to make up the weight. Other vendors you'd at most end up with 2 or 3 orders with NSNS you have at least 6.
Not a big deal in some senses, but your still right in that it dose mean feedback is often swamped amongst it's self, the FE also leaves it vague and unrepresentative of general quality/service.
That said all personal accounts up until this point have seemed positive and certainly complementary of the unique product range.
sigh.
-
I got a message from NSNS today with exactly the same wording as one of the guys posted above. I placed an order with Mr Cronk yesterday and he told me to FE once i received the gear. That's they way it should be.
I reported NSNS to SR.
Nobody should place any more orders with him until our stuff comes through. I'll keep you all posted...
-
I've ordered from NSNS a few times and let me tell you if your not 100 percent on the ball this guy will try to push his luck and rip you off, don't believe him if he says he will do you a deal he once tried to charge me £15 a gram for shitty pollen then another time said he would do me a q of premium smoke when I sent him the btc over he only gave me 4g, theres been a couple of other things too he has got good smoke and the menu is legit because I have had just about everything on it but hes is a dodgy old bugger just make sure you have your eyes wide open when dealing with him.
-
I'm in the same boat.
Ordered about a week ago, he said it was late out as he had PC problems, then his father supposedly died "but don't tell anybody" why would I? But that sounded all a bit like bullshit, you know when you meet a chronic bullshitter, every other word... that's the impression that i got. I only ordered a gram of cheap skank so if he has run off with $20 good luck to him.
Never did like his schtick in emails though, oily... ha ha here's where I fucked up though, i also ordered a1g of cheap stuff from jesus, and when that arrived I mistakenly finalized on NSNS, it was only yesterday after waiting for my stuff from Jesus that I realised, however, in fairness to me, at the time the stuff arrived, the jesus order said it was processing, not in transit... anyway, looks like he got my cash because I mixed up my finalizations... :(

I've been keeping up with this thread for a while now and I've pretty much received every message everyone else has. He just sent me this and I'm not entirely sure what to make of it - so I made a forum account.

when will you people learn to not FE? what will it take? when you see 2 pages of feedback that says nothing but "fe" and no real feedback.. why would you still FE? hell why would you FE at all? the newbie excuse gets old, i've never once had to FE for any order ever and I am most certainly a newbie. even after all of the 'trusted' vendors that went rogue.. people still FE.
he is sending everybody the exact same message, does that not raise any red flags to you people? fuck this cocksucker, quit (literally) giving him your money.

How would you word things to a new vendor when you dont want to FE with out them taking the hump and moaning? I got a vendor that says he wants FE to share the risk as its coming from O/S but I still refuse to FE, just ignoring him for now, he will not brake me!

I've never had to FE and if a vendor asks me to I simply refuse to (due to not being a new buyer) and if that's an issue, I just take my business elsewhere to the many other vendors I can buy from.
I feel bad for everyone who's FE'd here, hopefully the orders can be cancelled so the coins are returned.

great to hear you will not give in! if i were in your shoes, i would just be honest and say "i don't feel comfortable FE, so I apologize if this means we cannot do business.
FE shouldnt even be fucking allowed unless the buyer chooses to do it. there should be no "rewards" for fe, there should not be a "requirement" to fe if you are new.

Placed my order on 7th, marked in transit 9th..fingers crossed for the rest of you!

My order from No Sticks No Seeds has also arrived, it took a while but it did eventually make it - meaning that NSNS hasn't gone rogue after all.
Good luck everyone!

Looking hopeful then, lets see if mine comes today.
Have looked over old posts and it seems makku and gloomybear did not FE. please correct me if I'm wrong.
I also did not FE. I will update here if I get mine.
If every one gets sorted out in the end including those who FE'd then it looks like a nsns may have just had a bad patch and is back on track. Who knows, we will see. At least if these two people got theirs then nsns is not LE and that is a big worry lifted.
If it's the post offices fault and 1st class packets take over 5 days I think you are entitled to some compensation (like 50p or so). But the sender would have to have a receipt of posting lol. and I don't think any one would want to pursue the claims considering the nature of what is being sent.

Correct here also, one of my mates also never FE'd and he received today also.
It would appear from NSNS vendor page that a large amount of orders arrived today also, hopefully this was just a small bump in the road - could do with the costs of bud from NSNS to be decreased though. Almost £30 a gram currently!
-
Happy to report that I got mine today too.
So it seems that I was not scammed at all but it did take a little while.
Will just have to wait and see how many others get theirs, especially the FE-ers.
Hopefully every body else who has posted in this thread about missing orders with nsns will get back and let us know how it went for them too.
I think I paid under £30 (+exchange rate commission) for 2 grams of green which I though was not too bad especially with the 0.3 gram free spliff that was included.
He seems to have the odd listing here and there for around the £10 to £15 a gram mark. so maybe he is trying to offer some better priced listings along side variety. I see he has a couple of hash varieties that have been dropped in price too.
I think the problem here is that people had waited a week and a day after nsns said the item was posted.
Could this be the post office? Or some thing else like nsns logistics?
Will have to see if all the others get theirs too.
Hopefully everything is back on track and people get sorted.
-
I just got mine today, eight days wait domestic shipping, and I did FE, but that was a cock-up on my part too as I had told him i would not, then hit the wrong vendor button finalizing on a JoR order duh!
But whatever, the point is i FE and I got the shit, with two gifts included, so although I don't like NSNS way of communicating, he has done the right thing, and clearly he has been dealing with some shit at his end. So keep the faith, and check in if your shit arrives guys.
peace

Think one of the guys had an accident - so despite not buying from them - I wish the guy a full re covery!!! Get well soon bro!
Also, no sticks no seeds seed to be stand up guys. A bit expensive but they send fast so employ people and seem to have a lot of very good stock judging by reviews on the forums.
So get well soon if its you who had the accident.

I sent a message this morning saying it still had not arrived and that it was sent last week as the status page says and he replied
oh no brother, this because i am still waiting for you to FE, if you have any questions shout me. I am right here brother. please forgive me. But i asked you twice brother. if you have any more questions shout me. i am right here.
Greets; No Sticks No Seeds
From that I am thinking he has not even sent it, despite what the status page says.
I have sent another back asking has it really been sent and if not to cancel it and refund me but no reply yet.

I think cancelling your order would have been the appropriate thing for nsns to do in this case, at least until everything is back to normal.
At least then you'd have your coins back to use somewhere else.
I don't know what your buyer stats are but This would be a particularly bad time for nsns to take on new customers with no prior history as it would be open to false claims of non-receipt.
But then your buyers stats are important to you too so I'm sure you would not do this.
But nsns does need to cover his own back. -He should have just refund you asap. I'm sure he will now that everything seems to be moving forward.
A similar delay happened with a different vendor recently. But everyone was told in advance that they would have to wait an extra week before the item was posted off. So nobody panicked.
The problem here is that people were told the item had been posted on a certain date and then when multiple buyers did not receive, alarm bells started ringing.
Coupled with the 4 days offline, people got very nervous about their security.
Any one else want to come and give an update on your order?
If everybody who has posted here has had a happy ending then it is important to share that too.
It is quite likely that nsns is back on top of his game and would be good to have some positive feedback to support that.
If you read the feedback thread for mrCronk you will see a similar thing happened when mrcronk seemed to fuck up for a while. But further reading toward the end as well as search function you can see that he is back stronger than ever. He got his shit sorted out and moved on to provide consistently excellent service.
Even top vendors can mess up from time to time, but communicating the expected wait times and saying in advance if you will be away for a few days would be a good thing to learn.
But if nsns has sorted every body out and is back to normal I think it would be cruel to hold it against him given he had difficult personal circumstances.

I feel totally screwed by this seller, he marked my order as dispatched and even sent me a message saying it had been sent. Despite all the messages i sent and got replies back it just said you will get it soon.
I finally asked yesterday had it really been sent and if not cancel my order and he replied today saying it had not been sent and was waiting for me to FE. At no point had he ever said it had not been sent and i have been so stressed due to possible scam or even worse police involvement
He has only refunded me part of what i paid despite NOT clicking FE
He has lost total trust in me and will use another seller in future.
