Just wanted to share my experience of buying from what appears to be aUkk vendor. This is ongoing at the mo so aside from keeping the vendors name totally anonymous, which is the right thing to do. So far he has given me the impression that he is the genuine article and friendly enough.
So, I am a first time buyer and order a small amount of powder from a vendor based here. This was done sometime last week and on Friday last, my shipment changed to "in transit". I expected the package to arrive on Monday so when Monday morning came around I took a walk to the post box. No mail. I waited until this morning and went to the post box again. This time I had mail and also a calling card from Royal Mail inside.
The card stated that, "Unfortunately we can't deliver your item because there's a fee to pay".
It mentions the addressee, address and post code, the date and a box is ticked stating that,"The sender didn't pay the full postage." and also that the payment due is £1.6666666(or thereabouts..;)). A reference is included and the rest of the calling card is given over to describing how to pay/collect.
It seems innocuous enough but really - I think my package has been intercepted, and that they want me to turn up at the post office so they can get a look at me on camera, receiving the package. Am I being paranoid??
Mmmm. Tantalizingly close but I think my little adventure is over before it has begun and I have decided to walk away.
I'm not sure what others think but my mistake was to send my address unencrypted at the point of sale. The only other area where I could have been more careful was sending BTC from a Uk exchange which was linked to my bank account straight to SR - I'm sure I had read that sending money this way was still anonymous, and the purchase amounts were very small(less than £20), so given that this was small fry, thought it would be ok.
Anyway, just wanted to share my experience and add to the pool of knowledge here.

I'd go and collect it, if it has been intercepted then you are flagged anyway so just go in and brazen it out. As far as the post office goes you don't know whats in the packet you're signing for.

Does it tell you that you have to show ID to pick it up? Perhaps even call the post office and offer to pay for the postage over the phone via a pre-paid VISA and ask them to re-deliver? If you decide to not collect the parcel as it is too risky (I personally think it kinda is) the vendor should re-ship due to his mistake.

err I would think it is more likely that the postage has actually been underpaid by 66p mate :P. pretty sure they add a £1 admin fee too (bastards).
i think it unlikely for a small powder consealment that it would be pulled, its not going thru customs doodle. just go get it i bet it will be fine IMHO

Is the vendor new? It's possible he's used the wrong / not enough stamps to cover the postage. If that's the case the sorting machine would automatically flag this and the intended recipient would receive a card notifying them of this, just like you did.
Ask him what stamps he used and verify the weight and depth of the letter. He may have tried to use 1st class standard where 1st class large was appropriate.

Please do not worry too much, if they were going to bust you they probably would have done it at your house.
It is almost certain that your vendor underpaid the postage.

Thought you would like to hear of an update of the situation. After listening to advice thought I might as well go down to the post office and see whats what. It turned out the postage had not been paid! So afetr coughing up £1.36 walked away with my package. Everything else is fine and the gear came through....:/
