Post by: bizwax on February 21, 2012, 01:58 am
hey wassup guys im new to the community here and have been knowing about the silk road for about 6 months. I want to finally try and order some stuff, but thought it was best to join the forum and learn some stuff before making the job. This seems like a really good community.

This is a tutorial for GPG encryption. I found it pretty useful when I first got here. Welcome and best of luck to ya. I'd browse the Security and Shipping boards if I were you, lots of useful info in there.

Yup. It encrypts what you want to say so that only the person you send it to can read it (essentially). It makes it so your personal info is between just you and the vendor.

First check you're in the right folder. You should be somewhere like:

C:\ProgramFiles\GNU\GnuPG

if you're there, then search for gpa. The one you're looking for will be the exe in the "C:\ProgramFiles\GNU\GnuPG" folder.

...That said the forums are a goldmine of information if you just put a few hours aside to read :)

Best to make a thread if you have a specific problem you don't see covered in another thread.
