I made an order , I'm disclosing vendor name for now.

he said he sent quantity 2, Now once i receive the package and if the quantity is 2. How does the dispute action work? Please can someone explain with details, I obviously dont want to finalize if the order was incorrect.

You need to work it out with the Vendor. See if he is willing to ship the remaining 1 separately or refund you the BTC directly to your SR account instead of via the resolution center.
If you have to go through the resolution center it will show up as a refund on your transaction history that other vendors can see. The resolution center becomes active so many days after the initial order. In the resolution center you can either extend the number of days until it finalizes (the vendor has to agree as well) or you can submit a possible resolution to the vendor specifying what % you will be refunded, the vendor then has the option of accepting it or submitting a different %.
If the vendor is unwilling to work with you on this (I don't see why they wouldn't) then, and only then, do you contact SR support.
