Hi all-
Wouldn't the community think it would be a REALLY good idea to stop talking about how great a particular vendors packaging is? This raises all kinds of interest for any LEO that are keeping an eye on things, and makes it real easy for them to target the people with the best packaging methods.
Once they figure out how certain vendors are hiding their goods - they WILL make sure customs knows how to spot it. Why does everyone feel like its necessary to gush over the packaging? Just shut up about it.
-
All LE has to do is place their own order to see for themselves, so I don't think telling potential buyers that vendor has exceptional packaging is hurting anything and in fact helps the buyer.
-
i do actually agree with u as 1 guy changed how he sent and it was much better and everyone said its improved and no doubt le would then re order to no his new style and its great but as soon as they no what its like they could snag them all ,i sent him message to say keep sending new people and sketchy people the old style

Amen. I wish people would learn when to shut the fuck up.

Don't be preposterous. The phrase "great packaging" (or equivalents) doesn't carry any information that could be useful for LE, but it does set at ease the minds of potential new buyers. It's a good thing.
Now, if people were leaving feedback to the effect of "came in a little brown envelope with a drawing of a panda where the return address should be", then we'd have a problem.
-
More information is good. What specific information is LE going to glean from the words "Amazing packaging." Not much, other than that the vendor knows what they're doing and, if true, their chances of intercepting the package has decreased.
On the other hand it's good information for buyers. Do you think buyers want to buy stuff sent in shitty packaging? How would they know if no one reported it?
So no, people don't need to learn when to shut the fuck up. The whole point of this entire site is freedom. If that's lost on you then you've missed the whole spirit of Silk Road.

generic descriptions help other buyers decide whether or not to go with a vendor they have not used before. Specific information should not be shared but come on folks a little common sense goes a long way.
