Title: Newbie SR messaging question
Post by: mkjnhb on July 15, 2013, 07:06 pm
I've figured out PGP and have sent a vendor a message using the SR messaging client, which is encrypted with the vendor's public key as provided on their profile page.

How do I make my public key available to vendors (or anyone, really) who would like to send me an encrypted message?  I've poked around the account settings and profile settings and I don't see anywhere to provide a copy of my public key to other users of SR.

Near the top of the vendor's page you'll see a "Send Message" link. You can send it that way, though I'm not sure they really need to encrypt stuff that doesn't have sensitive info in it. "I shipped it and put in 5 grams extra!" doesn't really need encryption IMO.

So there's not a spot to just put it on your account profile, the way vendors can?
