Title: Got my first love letter from customs...
Post by: vanilla on October 14, 2011, 01:00 am
So yea I got this thick envelope from the port of Baltimore saying that they seized some of my pills. It also says a bunch of other crap about how I can file a motion to reclaim my property and blah blah blah. There is also mention of filing to abandon the seized product. Should I just ignore this and do nothing? That is my assumption but I want opinions from the road.  :-\

Sorry to hear that, dude. Seeing all the people getting their pills seized is makin' me nervous for the ones I have on the way!

I would just ignore it, but I've never gotten a love letter before.

ive read cases of people getting love letters for steroids

Do not answer the message at all and go with your original idea of doing nothing Apparently answering either yes or no to this will cause them to proceed with an arrest because either answer will mean that you knew it was coming,

You will get another letter in about a month and again do not answer they will eventually stop sending you anything at all, I would recommend no longer using the address but you could possibly get something by them in a few weeks/months

sorry to hear about this happening to you perhaps you could notify the vendor and ask him for something back because it was obviously not packaged to well

I agree with Mistersketch. It's pretty sneaky of them giving you the "abandon" option, when "abandon"ing said product basically means you expected it but accept that they seized it.

As always, ignore, deny, etc.
