What can I do now that I lost all of my BTC since the site changed to the new address? I had 118.08 BTC before the site changed to the new easier to remember web address. Now since the change I have 0 BTC. Has anyone else had this same issue as me? I'm super scared since I just added the coins just before the address change. I had a local friend with plenty of coins which I paid cash and he transffered directly to my SR account. This was my first transaction sending coins to SR, and if I don't get any recoup for my loss, I'm afraid it will be my last! As of now there is nothing I can do but beg and plead my case, I hope SR is listening! I really love the system here but I'm afraid I can't contribute until this ugly unfortunate situation is addressed. Please SR help! I have sent a message to SR directly but I just was hoping for other peoples advice and opinions. HELP!!!

I had the same thing happen to me, luckily with only a couple of BTC. Any news, bupebuddy? (Or anyone else?)

If you do get your money back, which you might, you should really keep your bitcoins in a wallet outside of SR. Preferably an encrypted one. With backups.
In addition, if you are not someone who has a need to float bitcoins for any reason, you'd be better off keeping them in USD at an exchange to be protected from bitcoin volatility
.
In general, if you lose your wallet, you lose your money.
