This area is for LE to declare themselves. We already know you are lurking, now you can talk about your successes and your failures. Your hopes and dreams. Maybe even reveal your personal purchases!
This is a safe environment, no criticism or judgement here. We are a liberal and libertarian community that believes everyone deserves the chance to freely express themselves. So go ahead and rant, cajole, scold, praise (!), warn, threaten, or just let the world know you exist.
You know you want to. Now you can. Make a fake account, Tor protects you. No one will ever know (it will be our secret).
I personally really do admire and appreciate you (even if I do not care for your bosses). I would be a cop myself if I could get some of the requirements down, like being on time to the interview, having a high school diploma, passing the drug test, being in good shape, looking good in blue, etc.
Maybe you are Chief of police, FBI special agent, Secret Service or on the Supreme Court! Just let us know. No one would believe it anyway! Come on Scalia, let's hear from you.
This is your chance to let US know what's on your mind...

On a serious note, has there been any anecdotal evidence of anyone being charged (let alone prosecuted) because of SR?
-
There were several arrests made on International Students who were essentially hired to have drug mail sent to them. Although they do not specifically point out that the mail was from SR the indication was there.

The Aussie buyer was from Melbourne, the case is listed in the supreme court for around oct 9th, basically he was nicked for importing a shitload of various product from an online market place, I read a couple of reports that mentioned SR but from memory the actual AFP press release never did, so it could have been BMR, farmers market or for that matter an old mate he met in friggin cabo while on spring break who knows!
We all know LE are watching an so are various journo's and other nobodies, at the end of the day it really matters very little, it's here or the street, SR is cheaper and safer!

Any idea when he got busted?
Hopefully it's tied to farmers market or somewhere else. Was he caught with product in hand?

In my country, some kids in a small town were importing shit and selling it to their mates. Here's where they got stupid: They started importing and selling things that historically have never been a regular fixture in the drug trade. Powder heroin, for example. It doesn't help that they were in a tiny, small town no doubt full of gossip. When a bunch of good mdma pills, lsd and coke turned up no doubt the word spread and they cleaned up for a while. Made good money but all that chatter reached the police and they had no way to explain where they got shit like that in a one horse town.

MSRMYL, there is a report on smh.com.au just search silk road drugs.
Basically it just says he allegedly imported via online market place, it also mentions 12 ppl arrested in mt isa as well, here is a quote from the article......
"The Australian Federal Police recently arrested a Melbourne man for allegedly importing drugs into Australia via Silk Road, which operates in the so-called "dark net" or "hidden web". He was charged with 10 offences relating to the importation, trafficking and possession of narcotics and prohibited weapons, and is due to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on October 24.
I think the problem is now that SR has received a lot of press coverage many sections of the media will now name SR as the online market place as soon as someone gets busted regardless of the known facts!

Using SR + Not being a moron + Taking precautions = Not getting busted
