Title: Excluding countries in your search (i.e. = expand "domestic")
Post by: Smook on September 18, 2012, 02:40 pm
Hey there,

I'm from EU and if I click "domestic" I get like 3 vendors, but if I untick it I get ALL Vendors, including Australia, China, India, USA etc - where packages usually never arrive (or I won't want to order anyway).

Please add an option to expand  the domestic feature like adding countries you want to get weed from, or to have a feature of "all vendors except chosen countries"

Thanks a lot

I think that "domestic" is a good idea but agree with Smook that it is imperfect. I'm in the USA and order from Canada frequently; domestic excludes those sellers. Maybe continental choices like "North America", "EU", "Africa", etc. would work? Thanks.

I had the same problem that BKind did I got tired of searching through every listing to find the Canada ones (I'm from U.S.) so what I did was I went to account then settings then I changed my home country to Canada then I went back to the listings and hit "domestic" so that only listings in Canada would show.I assume that it would be the same with other countries but I never personally tried it.I guess if you would want something from like Germany but you're from U.K. you could just go to settings, set your home country to Germany, and then go to all the listings and hit "domestic" then only German vendors would show up.Anyway I hope that helps that's what I do when I want to find listings from a specific country other than my own.

This is a great idea. I, too, had the Canada/domestic frustration.
It would definitely be helpful if there was a region sorting, like North America, Europe, etc. What pinkapples88 suggested seems like it would be severely annoying for Europe. The countries are so small and many, having to change to all the different countries around you and click domestic each time would take longer than just going through all the listings and noting which ones are on the same continent as you.

Too bad this will probably never happen, like all the other suggestions...
