Title: Why does the forum look like I'm running it on a mobile device?
Post by: sleepyeyes2k2 on February 11, 2013, 08:27 pm
Since yesterday, all of the graphical elements of the forum have been replaced with a text-only, linear version.  It's very unattractive, a pain in the ass to work around, and looks like what you'd expect from a mobile version.  But, I'm running Torbrowser ESR for Mac.  What's up?

It sounds like you're running in public browsing mode (or whatever it's called.)  There is a toggle in the SR Account Settings Page that will turn it off and run it conventionally.  Your current mode is meant to be used in public places with the threat of onlookers (no graphics and text-only =un-interesting for over-the shoulder browsers.)

I trust this helps.

Are you talking about the Road or about the Forums?  I'm having the problem on the Forums page, and I don't see a settings option to correspond to what you mentioned.

I meant the road, not the forum,  my bad.   may want to try switching browsers.

It just randomly fixed itself, so I'm not complaining anymore...
