Title: Printer Security
Post by: P2P on August 01, 2013, 05:22 am
I know there was another thread about this. However, I am interested in a general idea of which printers do and do not have some form of identifying the user. I am specifically interested in a comment made by PlutoPete implying that an inkjet printer does not have any sort of security features like this. If I could get a general idea of what to look for, i.e. laser vs. inkjet etc., then I think that would help a lot. Any info is welcome. Thank you.

Use a black and white laser printer.

Or use a thermal printer.

Or remove the color ink cartridge.
