Uber Noob Here....
Heya all, nice to be here, trying to get set for 1st purchase, having a little difficulty with the address encryption..
I use a mac, i have dl a program called GPGTOOLS which i believe has everything i need to send an encrypted address from a sellers public key.. just can't seem to get the thing to work.. Unfortunately the forums (quite rightly) are centered around pc users.. a mac users help would be appreciated..
Yes I have tried to search the forums, as im sure others have experienced these problems before.. but i seem to time out and lose the page whenever i go more than a page or two deep into these forums.. makes it frustrating trying to find answers... search box does not work at all for me..
Anyways, thanks for having me here, hope someone can spend 5 min with me to help get set up..

It's actually quite simple.. Save the public key of the vendor in a textfile, under the name of the vendor to make it easy on yourself..
Open GPGtools and press 'import', select the textfile with the public key and import it in your keychain.
In a textfile write your name and address like you normally would and select it all.
Use the key combination: command+shift+e to encrypt it, you'll get a menu where you can select which key to encrypt it with and you select the one of the vendor you're buying from :)
That's it.. you will get an encrypted message and you have to copy that into the address box at the checkout page
