Post by: fisherm4n on June 13, 2013, 08:51 am
Hello,

As i try to login I get the message "Login failed, please try again".
Am i using the correct URL? http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion

First i tried via The Hidden Wiki, the URL there is: http://silkroadvb6piz3r.onion/

Are these URLs safe?

Thanks for any reply.

YOU FUCKED UP!  When you tried this one http://silkroadvb6piz3r.onion/ you gave your password to a scamming asshole and he logged in the correct one at silkroadvb5piz3r.onion and changed your password and stole all of your coins.  Sorry :(

Thanks for your reply Jack N Hoff.

Are there a way to contact "customer support" to change the password?

Thanks for your reply Jack N Hoff.

Well, your coins are gone so you might as well make a new account but if you want your old one back for some reason, make a new account and message SR support and let them know exacrltly what happened.

In the future, only use silkroadvb5piz3r.onion and if you EVER EVER EVER see a login page ASK FOR YOUR PIN then it is a FAKE PHISHING PAGE that will STEAL your password.

Thanks alot for your help, much appreciated :)

I only had a tiny sum of BTC in the account luckily, but i do have some open orders I'd like to check up on.
Just for clarity, I did not enter any PIN at the logon site. You need the pin to transfer BTC no? :)

I'll make another account and do as you have said. Thanks again!

You had to of entered your PIN.  That is apart of the fake login page unfortunately.  You need to contact those vendors asap because the scammer will try to get the orders cancelled or change the shipping address.

Again, thanks.

I've now contacted the vendors and SR Support.
Let's see how this pans out :)

Sorry to hear that man, I ended up on that site too out of the hidden wiki, except it was when I was trying to register, and I couldn't figure out what the heck the thing wouldn't let me register. Then I saw a writeup about the fake sites asking for the pin at login.

Feeling quite stupid now, seeing the sticky warning about these exact links :P

Lesson learned!
