Title: "Thank you in advance." Am I the only one irked when people say this?
Post by: nexus68 on January 21, 2012, 09:01 pm
I just cannot stand when people ask a question or for a favor and end with, "thank you in advance", never to be seen again. It just seems incredibly rude and insincere if you ask me. Anyone else with me?

Thank you in advance.

I dunno..always thought it was quite polite that they considered it?

unlike some people posting up paragraphs of tl;dr-worthy forum posts then attaching a question/favour at the end of it...

What do you mean? All I'm doing is signing my name in my posts.

Thanks in advance
