Title: Is tor tracking my history?
Post by: torhistory on June 15, 2012, 06:44 pm
I noticed that it does list the most visited websites, so yes in some capacity it appears to be doing some tracking. Is there some way that I'm not aware of to prevent that? Or to wipe everything if necessary?

It's not tor, it;s your browser. You can start in privacy mode with firefox, that way it won't save anything.

Or just use the tor browser bundle, wich has logging/history setting set on being wiped each time you close the browser by default.
