Title: Vendor Problem Question
Post by: buttonboy1234 on July 07, 2013, 01:16 am
I'm probably just being paranoid.

But anyway - over the past days BC value has gone down...

I placed an order which was worth 0.9BTC. Now this has been processing for two days and now the price for the goods that are processing has gone up to 1.2BTC to account for the drop in BTC worth. This vendor wants me to FE (I know I shouldn't, but they're trusted and I believe them). They've asked me to FE by replying to the email with 'I accept blahblah' I did. It still didn't progress to allow me to FE. The next day I emailed the vendor informing them that they hadn't actually processed it and thus it wouldn't allow me to FE.

I sent the vendor another email informing him that it still wasn't allowing me to FE (he won't dispatch until this happens, and Monday is dispatch day) he emailed back saying now he'd done it. I checked again and it still hadn't progressed. I sent another email explaining this, (which I'm sure they've read because my sent message is no longer black) and they haven't replied.

I'm worried they might be waiting for me to cancel the order so that they can resell it for a higher price. That's obviously wrong because at the point of purchase my BTC were worth more (the correct amount for the purchase) and they should therefore fulfill their end of the bargain.

Now I'm not saying this vendor IS doing this, but I'm just concerned.
What do you lot reckon? Am I just being paranoid?  :-\

It won't allow me to cancel until three days have passed.

It's a shame you think the vendor is trying to swindle me... they seemed trustworthy... and it's cost me around $15.

Damn - hopefully the vendor is actually reliable and it's a coincidence and I'll eventually be able to FE and receive product.

I never said he was going to scamm you. you ask what should i do...DO NOT FUCKEN FE!....if the vendor is solid, he would finish the deal you made....If the vendor is so good, he would not play games....wait for the cancel option and cancel...I'm sure you can find another vendor..Do be in a rush to buy drugs...believe me there will be more where that comes from.
