Title: PIN / Secondary Password Issue - Request for Admin Help

Hoping an Admin can step in and help me with this; I'll try to summarize as succinctly as possible.

--Have been a member since the beginning of 2012.

--Set a PIN when I initially registered, and used it successfully for many orders since then.

--A couple of days ago, every link I clicked on Silk Road re-directed me to a "Create a secondary password" page. I went ahead and entered a secondary password since it wouldn't let me do any other browsing until I had set it.

--Yesterday I tried to place an order, and suddenly my PIN isn't working. Like an idiot, I kept typing my old PIN (the one that I had been using successfully for months) until my allowable attempts until it gave me the dreaded "PIN has been reset" message.

--After doing some research on the forums, it appears as though this "secondary password" that SR forced me to set a few days ago is actually my new PIN.

--I've written SR Admins, who replied with the standard "wait 7 days" message.

I really don't think it's fair at all for me to have to wait 7 days to get this resolved. I don't have any idea why SR all-of-a-sudden redirected me to the secondary password page this week, and furthermore there was no mention on said page that this new password would actually be my new PIN. I didn't "forget" my PIN or anything careless like that. I feel like this is not my fault at all, and I would really appreciate an Admin helping me out here. My username on SR is the same as here, oldhat.

I'm having the same exact problem. I joined over a year ago and there wasn't a pin system at that time. When it asked me for my PIN, I figured it was something that I must have made and tried every combination. Turns out I don't even know my PIN. If an admin could help, it would be very much appreciated.

Based on the last few days I've spent email SR Support, I can tell you that they most definitely will NOT be helping you out. It's beyond frustrating and a total crock, and they couldn't give two shits.

Yeah, I'm really glad there was a message in my inbox notifying me of this PIN system. I'm also really glad I deposited BTC in my account the same day I tried to checkout. Now I have to wait a week to touch it? If I were a phisher, couldn't I have made a new account and deposited my BTC in that new account? Makes no sense. This literally just ruined 3 months of planning for an upcoming event.
