They are saying that they are using the price as a bond, and if you are a good seller and get over 30 (i think transactions) and $1500us in sales then you will get your bond (which i guess is 20btc) back but then with their disclaimer they say that you might not even get that back that it just depends ffs :-(
Anyone any ideas as i have a ton of real Lambert and real GV for sale at the minute.
Thanks for your time.

Yes, spend the $500, get to 30 sales and request your $500 back. If you don't get it then carry on making money and request it at 60 sales?
-
Huh ?
I am confused ... we can get your seller account fee back ?
-
When I paid the fee I thought it was gone. But when I read the sellers guide it appears that you get it back once I have gained credibility.
I imagine the disclaimer is so that they don't have to refund the bond if they still suspect the vendor of being dishonest, such as a history of conflict with buyers.
Even in that case I imagine they will return your bond in exchange for shutting down your vendor account. But then that is just my guess, I don't know what standards they use.

They increased the vendor account price to ~$500 as I understand it. This was done to make it harder on scammers who were using vendor accounts as if they were disposable. I believe they probably added the 'bond' aspect of it to make it clear that this was not about the money to them, but about the issue of scamming. If you prove yourself to be a legit vendor then you can have all your money back. If you are a scammer then you don't get your money back.
I don't think they will be dropping the vendor account price any time soon. It appears they are taking a tougher stance on scammer vendors because they are one of the most detrimental aspects to our community. If anything I see the price of vendor accounts continuing to rise.
-
Yeah, we don't want lots of scammers with accounts that can just be disposed of to move onto the next and then the next scamming session.
-
I'm glad they raised the vendor price as it might deter potential scammers from using SR as a vehicle for their scamming purposes.

what about the vendors from before? do they also get money refunded? even though is under 200$ but still ;D
