Title: Perscription meds
Post by: pcgamer02 on August 07, 2011, 06:58 am
Wasnt sure where to ask this, sorry if this is the wrong place.

Lets say someone legitimately has a prescription for a pill called "A". This person loves "A" so much he/she wants to supplement  intake from another source. Would ordering some "A" from SR be illegal in that scenario? Lots of people buy pills online already What about medical marijuana? That's legal in a few places around the world. Not sure where the line is drawn though.

Yes, it would be illegal. Strictly speaking, the use of prescription meds is only legal when prescribed by a doctor AND when used in the amounts and at the intervals specified by that doctor. If you need more of drug A to supplement what you are already receiving, the only way to do that legally would be to receive a heftier prescription.

Even if they were prescription strength ibuprofen. If a doctor hasn't legally prescribed it to you and its in the bottle from the pharmacy, it would be illegal...

yep if it doesnt have your name on the bottle and you dont have a valid scrit it doesnt matter what you have if its a controlled substance in that dosage, i can buy 8/500 co codamol at any pharmacy but without a prescription i cannot legally own even one 30/500 tab (which you used to be able to get by the box full for next to nothing) thems the rules, dont ya love em!
