Title: Is there an interest in medically grown mids?
Post by: Legend of Bob on June 30, 2012, 02:57 pm
I am in the US. I can sell medically grown mids at competitive prices on SR, but I do not see too many listings for mids.

I have not paid to 'upgrade' my account yet, but do not have anything else to offer.

What are the community's thoughts?

although there are issues with shipping larger amounts for less money and greater detection risk. You will always find people that prefer to buy a half OZ of mids instead of an eight of Medicinal grade.

If you get the vendors account, You will definitely find buyers. Of which I may very well be one.

If you ship internationally, stay in escrow and have reasonably priced mids i would definitely buy regular oz's =)

Lol "medically grown." You grew indoor and outdoor, hydro or soil-based. Those are the adjectives you use with mj growing. "Medical" is about as vague as saying, "I have weed."

Depending on price per pound and how we can get it here I might be interested.

Er... from my definition most of the stuff here looks like, "medical mids". If you don't trim your weed properly and it's not high grade then you have mids in my opinion.

Ah, I see your point and I apologize. I will give all the details I have in my future listings. It is grown for dispensaries, but not by me. Networking sales anonymously outside of the web is hard, but manageable. I have been purchasing for personal use and local distribution, without many details given to me about the product. I can say that my client base is very pleased, but also are not used to headies, which was the purpose behind this post (to see the interest in a headies-driven community)

To everyone else, well, that gives me the bump I need to get around to it. It may take a few weeks but I will likely begin selling.

The only time I have hear of mids/regs at a medical outlet was some shit that a few places in california used to give away on a certain day of the week if you had a prescription but no money.

It was called "Jones-bag friday" or something like that and they would just give you a quarter for free if you were broke. and it wasn't even what most people call mids (Tex-mex, Brick weed, etc...) it was more like the loose and leafy buds that were trimmed off of a medical grade plant and some shake from the bottom of the stores barrels.

It blew my mind when I first saw them doin it. and the shit was still better than the mids you get in the south (absolute trash....More like wild hemp).

If they're sold for mids prices I'm in, however any more any I most likely will not want, as I'd rather spend the money on headies. Mids are great for people with a low budget such as myself, but over priced mids is  waste imho

I'm just curious as to what other members here consider mids. Locally anything without seeds people will consider mids. I don't use that definition, people around here are ignorant. I consider there to be like 5 different levels of bud. Shwag, decent seedless, mids, high-grade, top shelf. Top shelf being crazy shit like kush that's been cured and trimmed properly, high grade a bit lower quality, maybe less trimmed, mids is what most of the stuff here looks like, then decent sensi bud, then comes your brick weed and shwag.

Here mids are a step above Mexican Brick Weed, still stems and seeds, but much greener and actually gets you high, aka Reggie

Abve that would be KB/Beaters, which is inbetween headies and reggie

Above headies is medical

If it's got seeds in it around here that's either shwag or reggie, depending on quality. Then comes the decent seedless, then mids, high grade, top shelf. High grade and top shelf are what I consider "medical". It's just confusing sometimes with all the different terms and grades. That's just my interpretation anyway. I wish we could go by THC and CBD ratings. When I grew, the kush with 22+% THC was top-shelf, and stuff like Skunk #1 with about 14% was high grade. Shit like some Little Cheese autoflower which didn't ripen up well, has a lower THC and higher CBD I'd consider mids.

That's just me, I'm notoriously dickish and picky. Also, weedmaps.tv and the weed report on youtube are very interesting to me and I watch that stuff regularly.

I actually do find it quite strange to be honest. I'm a client of someone a few states over, and couldn't tell you a name if I wanted to. All I know is that it's definitely better than mids but not as good as most named strains. It is priced $5 above mids around here, with strains/headies priced $15-20 above mids, depending.

I smoke it every day.

You know, I have no fucking idea what channel I'm talking about, I'm subscribed to too many to remember. Maybe I meant the Weednerd with Subcool. I used his supersoil recipe once, very good results with an autoflower, barely used any nutes besides molasses.

without anymore speculation I guess we will all have to wait and see the quality. there is a void to fill in sr for good mids. around my area mids are anything that isnt stinky skunk, it could not have seeds and smell decent but if its not that skunky smell or fairly sticky its considered mids. But im willing to give some decent bud a try to save some cash myself.
