Title: Last Question of the night I promise! Cash to SR Wallet
Post by: IamaLizard on May 06, 2012, 04:48 am
Hey guys, I know that the BTC gets transferred to SR from MT Gox but how do I get my money into my MT Gox account anonymously? Also read there was a step in-between MT Gox and SR somewhere. Thanks!

Easiest way.
If American, buy Moneypak and load money. Give Moneypak to exchanger here on SR. Get BTC.

you could do CIM to nanimogold for LR, then LR to mtgox to bitcoin to instawallet to bitjack21 to instawallet to silk road  or WU to wmcenter for pecunix, superchange from pecunix to LR, LR to mtgox, rest the same

or be creative, there are plenty of exchangers with plenty of options to get your cash to bitcoin and vise sersa!

MoneyPak is the single biggest scam on SR today. DON'T DO IT! Go to the MtGox site and log in. Look under the "fund your acct" section and look for bitinstant. Follow their instructions and they will even tell you which bank branch to go to and give you acct info to make the deposit. No ID required. Buy BTC on MtGox. Then send your coins to an intermediary. I would not send them straight from MtGox to SR. I use instawallet but there are many others. Then from your instawallet to SR. The entire process from cash deposit to SR funded was about 5 hours. The longest step is from the instawallet to SR. They tumble them a lot from what I understand. Good luck!

Moneypak to Btc/mtgox/Sr vendor
Dwolla to Mtgox/ Bitinstant

I sent Pakupaku my mp for $200 and he messaged me back that the # did not work. I hope this is not a scam. I will go back to the store tomorrow to make sure they did not make a mistake. If all else fails I will call Green Dot and find out what happened. Paku has good reviews so I'm inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt, but we will see. I will post back tomorrow and give an update. hopefully all will be well.   :-\

Good news Pakupaku has NOT ripped me off! I checked my MP and it still has the money on it. He had messaged me that the number did not work and I feared he was scamming me. I'm still waiting for his response and I hope he is able to retry the number. PAKUPAKU is NOT a SCAM as far as I can tell! I'm thinking of pulling my money and depositing through a bank because I think it may be faster, but I will wait for his reply to see if he can make it work.  I will post again whatever happens :)

He didn't scam you this time. MP to BTC is the biggest scam on SR. Just because it's worked for you so far doesn't mean you won't get jacked. Bitinstant is the way to go. I prefer dealing with what I know is a legit biz rather than trusting a stranger. Snarky mfers.
