Title: Channel 4 story on 'criminal underworld' and the 'hidden internet'

Nice placement of the SR logo just above the line about "paedophiles"  >:(
... wacky Brit spelling.  at least they don't class up the word too much by using an umlaut!   ;D

nothing new here I guess but these stories don't help the cause much.

So predictable.

No one would care about a guy smoking some bud friday night at home or humps the ol' lady at home on E. Hence, pedophiles! pedophiles! Weapons! Weapons!

they made it sound like SR sells children on the black market.  only pedophiles i've ever known of turn out to be priests and cops.  how about spending our tax dollars to fight poverty instead of spending our tax dollars on wars or incarcerating people who use their own free will to buy something that is hurting no one but themselves.

I love how the use "exposed" as if SR and the other TOR sites they talk about are private and hidden. They're listed on the goddamn hidden wiki.

Someone should teach the people who made the video about IP addresses and that an octet will never be beyond 255.  123.45.678.9 LOL

this kind of publicity is VERY counterproductive.

it draws a lot more curiosity from the public, whom a good majority use drugs.

besides, anyone who types in silk road anonymous marketplace can get here in under 30 minutes, even if theyve never even heard of tor before.

i hope all those curious folk come and check out to see what the road is all about, then they will see that we do not tolerate CP....

except for that anime CP stuff, that looks bad for SR, but apparently is OK to sell.

Nah not good PR but it seem to be more about that publicity seeking faarkwit Mark Williams-Thomas and his dickhead mate Peter Sommer. Both self proclaimed "cyber experts".
Fucked if I know what a "cyber expert" is but I reckon that's what Im calling myself from now on.
It's just these pricks attempting to drum up business for themselves.
