Title: New Vendor
Post by: pukana on April 12, 2013, 04:12 am
Im bout to become a vendor and had a question about samples.

Am I ok to provide samples here in the forums for reviews prior to becoming a vendor?

It's ok for advertisement purposes and for getting some reviews. But samples are not even "strongly recommended" for becoming a vendor. It's up to you only.
Good luck, pukana!  :)

I wouldn't do it... people will just take advantage of you and it doesn't effect your numbers on the site. Instead point people from here to your vendor page on SR and maybe offer low prices for the first few buyers.

My 2 cents!

You are more than welcome to give me some free samples :-p. I would say offering small amounts for a low price of like 20 dollars is a good way to go. That way you make some money and get some.feedback by we also get to try out your product at a reasonable price we are willing.to pay to try it out. New vebdors need to really draw cutromers attention away from their primary vendors. Have fun!!!

Thank you all for the advice. Basically if i were to give samples I should have a vendor page first and do some half price offers of limited quantity.

Yes it is high quality. Im looking to provide mainly to Australasia. Looks like few vendors ship there.
Im confident I could help fellow kiwis and aussies out as I have had 8/8 packs make it so far.

Dont even know if its worth it yet. I have a pic i will post once i figure how to secure it.

Cheers
