GoodTimes recently asked me if I'd like to do a review for him and I said yes and when he asked what I'd like to review... I said variety pack. So I got quite a bit of a good time from him, in that I got Blue Dream, Snow Caps, and Grape Ape, as well as a little bit of the blue dream hash.
The first thing I checked out was the hash. Mostly, I wanted to see it under magnification. It really is a delight to look at because it appears solid and everything to the naked eye, but in detail it is just a whole bunch, so many many many trichomes, all packed in tight. I didn't notice any plant material, just all trichomes. It smells... I think, like the blue dream itself. I didn't remember to sniff it much. I did, however, give it a smoke. Smoked enough to get that lung-expansion feeling and I know that got me nice and high.
Now, the Blue Dream itself;
GT sent me 0.6g of the Blue Dream in the form of two small nugs. These are very high-quality looking nugs, too! They look what they weigh, but they also look like they're covered in trichomes. It's the kind of coverage that makes the green look lighter, just because it is so dense. The nugs themselves look a bit on the lighter side or, to put it another way, not so dense. Not loose in anyway and quite nice as it is. Very little stem, just one twig and that's not even a problem. A magnified look at the Blue Dream shows just how dense the trichomes are, and makes it easier to see the little bits of orange hairs in hiding.
The smell is unlike the Blue Dream I've had before(which smelled like the fruity pebbles cereal). To get a better hint of the smell, I broke one of the nugs down in my fingers while smelling it... I got a very distinct lemon-smell from it. Almost pure lemon, to be completely honest. It smells, with no subtly at all, like Lemon-Scent(R) from Chemical Smells Industrial, to be a bit hyperbolic. And, of course, like dank-as-fuck cannabis. There's no mistake of what it is, but it is a very lemon-scented this that it is. I will not forget this lemon-scented Blue Dream. :)
Next is the Grape Ape;
Weighing in at 0.54g, this little nug is a dense triangle of plant material. From below, I can see a thick dust of trichomes coating leaves and buds, though that coat of crystal isn't apparent from any other angle of the bud. It gives no resistance to being broken up and it reveals that the inner bud has the same amount of trichomes as the underside did, being quite a good amount. A few sparkles also show off some visible heads, but there aren't many. This bud is a darker-green is color and has quite a bit more orange hairs then the Blue Dream. Under the microscope, quite a bit more of the heads are visible and while most are clear, I definitely saw some that were fairly amber-colored.
It has a lovely nasty-herer smell to it, as well. Anyone who reads all my reviews(hi government!) knows that I love smell. The smell doesn't spread out much by itself and it was only faint even when I was crumbling it down in my fingers but I did recognize it. It's the kind of smell that your nose tells you is nasty, but your brain tells you is awesome. I don't know how else to explain it. So instead, I move on to the...
Snow Caps;
Weighs 0.61g and looks like 0.45g at most. I already know what to expect from the Snow Caps before doing anything else. My prediction: A fuckton of trichomes all over, a dense bud, and a bunch of huge resin-filled heads. As for what I'm seeing so far, the name Snow Caps is accurate. It looks pale green because of the sheer amount of 'snow' covering it and the bud itself has a shape like a mountain. Snow-capped peaks, at least. So the trichome-prediction is accurate... as for density and heads... I was half-wrong. It is even denser than I was expecting, which makes it one of the densest buds I've seen, but the trichomes are regular size... still a whole bunch, though. Under magnification, I realize that the outer most layer is pure trichomes. It looks like snow-covered peaks because it is actually covers in a layer of resinous-snow. The only difference between the external and internal trichomes is that the internal ones aren't pressed in together.
The smell is orange, specifically orange. I almost thought it was lemon-scented, although a bit more muted than the blue dream, so I crumbled up the entire sample to get a more concentrated fragrance. The Snow Caps has a hard to notice, mostly citrus but just enough orange, smell to it. It's quite pleasant.
I like the Blue Dream the most, and the BD hash even more than that, but they are all better than the average high-quality strain.

When GoodTimes asked me to participate in his Mary Jane Mayhem project, I was flattered. The Grand Wizard is always happy to receive recognition for his cannabis reviewing skills, especially when that recognition involves free herb! And so when the package arrived I prepared myself for the rigorous analysis which such a heavy responsibility requires.
First up was a sample of Snow Cap: I hadn't tried this one before so I figured I would start with something new. The smoke had a nice spicy taste, ginger with hints of cilantro and a bit of mint. The high is very sativa-dominant: euphoric and clear-headed with little body buzz or fuzziness. It creeps up on you and can get you a bit spacy if you're not careful. It also has longer legs than many sativas: I was nicely high for a couple hours after a few tokes. It was a promising start to the project.
Next came the Grape Ape. It was getting on the end of the day and the Wiz was replacing his turban with a sleeping cap. Since I know Grape Ape is a potent indica I figured this would be the best time to give it a test run. A quick toke confirmed the sweet grape syrup taste of this well-known strain. So did the body buzz, pain relief and heavy eyelids: my path to slumber was only disturbed by a giggle fit triggered by some innocuous joke. Definitely a fine example of a fine indica. So far GoodTimes was batting 2/2.
The Blue Dream, the third sample, is a hybrid strain (Blueberry x Haze) which offers many of the best qualities of both sativas and indicas. You can really taste the blueberry parentage on this one: of all the samples, this had the best flavor and aroma. The high was very much what I've come to expect from a well-grown Blue Dream, a nice balanced feeling of good will with nice legs and a good but not overpowering amount of relaxation.
But wait... there's more! GoodTimes also included a sample of some Blue Dream bubble hash. I have been smoking a lot of European hash lately: nothing goes with German prog rock and Canterbury jazz like some nice standard Maroc sprinkled in your bowl. This is a good bit more potent than that -- in European terms, this is 00 rather than second or third. If you're looking for a good domestic supplier of hashish, you'll have no complaint here.
Overall, what most impressed me about the Good Times pack was how well he selected his strains. There's something here for just about every smoker. His prices -- around $100 a quarter for weed and $80 an eighth for the BD hash -- are certainly reasonable given the quality: his shipping is fast and discreet. This was a nice holiday bonus for the Wizard and I'm sure others will find some trees to put under their tree with GoodTimes.

Just a quick review of vendor and product.
Got a nice pak of Grape Ape, and Blue Dreams. Both good product, especially for price!!!
Vendor however is stellar. His shipping is perfect, and his communication is what you want out of a quality vendor!! We do not always get the service this guy provides, so enjoy this guy and his product, you will not be disapointed.
This is coming from a snob as well, so take it with a little more than a grain of salt!!
Happy Holidays!!

Hey Guys, I ordered a QP from GoodTimes. 2oz Grape Ape and 2 Blue Dream.
Shipping- The shipping was very profession with both color barriers and a few vac seals.
Communication- I had talked to GoodTimes for a day or so prior to the order and he was alwaysa very quick to respond and was easy to work with!
Product- Without a doubt some of the best smoke I have had. Both were COVERED in trichs and had a dank smell.
5/5
Overall I couldn't be happier with my purchase from GoodTimes and I plan to order from him for many times to come! (:

Well I have used GoodTimes for his BTC service, however I have not had a chance to purchase any of his bud.. so I don't know if I should post a review but why not. Can't hurt and I suppose technically this would be a review of him since it is a product/service he offers.
Anyways,
I have used GT twice, both for relatively small BTC orders. Both times he got me my coins in under 2 hours. Simply amazing. Because I am a newbie here, I was obviously nervous but there is no need to be nervous when using GT.. he makes everything go so smooth. I will definitely be using him again in the very near future.
As for his communication, he replied to my messages within 6-12 hours. I have sent vendors messages and not received a reply for days, so it is very refreshing to see a vendor reply in such a timely manner. On top of this, he is very polite.
Overall- 5/5
I have nothing but good things to say about GT and his BTC service and based off the reviews I've read.. I'm definitely going to have to try his bud soon!

Ive been a GT fanatic for a while now, even through the major trolling they were getting. Easily one of the underrated vendors here. Ive basically ordered everything theyve offered since the came on the SR scene. Everything has been dank from them. Packing is flawless ALWAYS. Definitely my go to guy. You get that small Mom n Pop type of attention from them. The Blue Dream is easily some of the best ive had from SR and im not really into sativas at all.

Anyone order recently??
How is the stealth?
I ordered a HP last week. Stealth is top notch. I order bulk from them at least once a week. They always switch up sending names, etc. which is good (some vendors use the same sending name over and over). Printed labels, my HP came in a small box (fit in my mailbox) and had no compression. The product is WELL disguised. Cant go into details of course but all around it better than majority of vendors ive ordered from. Hope this helps.

I ordered 2 lbs from goodtimes and he gave me a tracking number for an order that is obviously not mine. The package is going to a completely different part of the country. I will keep everybody updated.
Interested to see where this goes, GoodTimes is on my shortlist of vendors that I'm currently tracking

Received my 2 lbs from goodtimes. The packaging is some of the best packaging I've seen for domestic bulk weed. The delay was not his fault. It was USPS's fault. Big surprise right. The weed is good. It's not amazing but it is good for resale. It looks really nice but doesn't have much of a smell. I would definitely buy again though.
soo was that tracking # actually yours or no?
i havent used their (USPS') new tracking system thing, but with DCN, you couldn't tell where the package was going until it was "out for delivery".. just wondering how you knew it was "going to a completely different part of the country"
-
Yes it was but USPS made a mistake. I've used dcn's many times in my legitimate business also and you could see where they were going before they were out for delivery. Occasionally, the dcn wouldn't update until they were out for delivery but most of the time that wasn't the case. And I knew it went to a different part of the country because it was out for delivery in a different part of the country.
Yea usps does suck. Their packaging is definitely top notch though, thats one of the main reasons I get bulk from them. The quality/ price ratio is good but the packaging helps relieve a A LOT of stress for me lol.
