Looking for fellow newbies opinions on receiving goods from SR.
I have posted before my package receiving technique which as I'm overly paranoid- Bank of lockers for postal drops in a supermarket, paid for using a pre paid cash card, under a false name on a pre paid phone so there is no link to me what so ever. This is due to my crazy drug hating girlfriend and my jobs 0% tolerance to any criminal acts.
What do you guys do? Do you take the risk and use your home address? or are you as paranoid as me and use a drop address?
I'm not sure whether it is worth the hassle for me to keep using the drop (seeing as my purchases will be 4g Coke, 50X 10mg Diazepam and a few grams of skunk once a month) or to just start using the home address?

I send my goods to an old neighbor , he checks his mail box like once in 2 weeks
I bought a pair of gloves so no fingerprints (I'm paranoid just like you) and I only check his box at night (like when it's really dark) + always look around to see there's no one around
-
Good to know someone else is like me 8)
I like you idea and thinking about it I have a neighbor like that down the road, do you have the post addressed to a fake name then? the only problem I have with the plan is what if the day they decide to check the mail is the day your package arrives? Would you knock and ask for it? or call it a day and find a new drop?

That's pretty slick.

I use a fake name
It happened to me once, and he got my letter but since it wasn't addressed to him he just left it outside his box (i live in a building and all of them boxes are in the same place)
The old man probably thought the mailman will take the letter back to the post office
It's a bit risky cause you can lose a package but it's way better then feds knocking down your door
-
Thanks Mcguire39 main thing is as the lockers are in a 24/7 supermarket can also go whenever is convenient and you know it's going to be empty (which for me is usually 2am with my hood up lol)
TheDead I see what you mean, thought you meant it was a on residential street. To be honest that's perfect then. I need a few more back up ideas just in case my current one fails.
I have just ordered five packages at once (got a little carried away) do you guys think there is any difference ordering more/less? Making it more risky etc
-
to my knowledge as long as your address ain't flagged than you're all good
I actually have this new idea I might use but you'll need a building for that too
my friend told me his mailman leaves any package that doesn't have an apartment number outside the boxes so that anyone who's the letter belongs to can take it (as if someone just "forgot" to write the apartment number) - I think this is gonna be perfect
I have no connection to this building + using different fake names, I will just grab my letters by night

If one is intercepted, your plausible deniability is gone when 4 more packages turn up. For domestic it is fine and tbh we all get carried away and take the risk ::).
With regards to the box, it is risky using fake name and also again lose plausible deniability when collecting package. Also:
7.4 We may scan any package received at the ByBox Address by X-ray or similar, and reserve the right to open or inspect (including by sniffing device) any package to confirm whether it is an Acceptable Package. Where we have reason to suspect any package we reserve the right to retain it for 7 days, or such longer period as is reasonable in the circumstances, in order to carry out due and proper investigation.
We may also photograph packages to provide evidence of their delivery to us or other factors (for example, where packages are inadequately packaged or damaged before we receive them).
You are adding another security layer to the process. They receive far fewer packages than Royal Mail so have the time to investigate high risk letters. They can open and xray which they will do to cover their back if they are suspicious. It is perhaps unlikely but who knows.
Any ideas for getting drop addresses? I have one using the outdooR mailbox but it is hard to find in the UK.

That's more paranoid than I am, but if it's worth it to you, go for it.

I use personal, only one order at a time though for OS. So as to avoid if one gets caught another 4 coming in my name too...

This is pretty sensible. I'm not the least bit worried about any of the individual parcels I've ordered, but I realized if one got nailed that my mail might be inspected for more contraband. Best to wait for each to arrive before getting anything else sent.

Exactly sir, patience is the name of the game ;)

This did concern me the thing is though after a trial run it worked, now do you reckon they actually X-ray any items? or do you think that is just in there as a legal requirement? Its a tough one

Also I got to mention I pay for the locker using a pre-paid debit card (no link to my name) and the collection point is 24/7, I doubt they would post a cop outside non stop for 1g cocaine, some Valium, Viagra and a bit of weed....seems way to extreme.

Personal for me, not had a problem so far :-\
-
For now, I use my Personal address, and I hope to continue doing so! ;)

I use my personal address, & normally get lots of packages in the mail as it is, so my mailman hasn't noticed anything different lol. May try to think of a way to use an alternate address that I have available, though. May have to get some catalogs or something mailed there first.
-
I think I will be sticking with the MyByBox for now keep changing every five packages (just for price/security)
The boxes are in a secure location, I buy a pre paid card with £150 from pound land then sign up using a fake phone getting five packages for £2. There are four different drop boxes in my area and I am going to just keep changing.
I know it's a lot of hassle but to black mark my address, I just cant be dealing with it. Also I have massive paranoia and am scared one day the SR vendor I use will get raided and give my address up lol
-
I use my home address and real name. If there is sufficient stealth there should never be anything to worry about.

That is the problem for me though, UK customs arent that stupid every so often they will come across something (I had knuckle dusters sent to my house a year ago by an idiot friend thinking it was a good present when drunk which got picked up) so I know from first hand. I hate that for the following six months after customs seizing my item everything that was sent to me from outside the UK had a 'opened by customs' sticker on it.

@roundhead
just keep doing what you're doin' even if it's more hassle, getting your personal address flagged sucks

Cheers man that is what I have been thinking for ages now, it works out more expensive having to pay £2.50 per package delivered and £3 per pre paid card used to top up funds once £150 spent but I am not worried about having my address flagged up which is the main thing as it's our new house so wont be leaving for at least three years and also work would sack me in a second if they got sniff of me being arrested for any drug/criminal offenses.

The x ray I am sure is a legal requirement but Im nto sure how easy it is for them to use. It's an option if my drops get burnt.

I have had a look on there website in more detail, in the terms and conditions it states though if they find you have had one of there contraband classified items sent (drugs, weapons etc) they will call or email you then destroy it, now that may seem like a waste of money but for me I'd prefer to lose the money then get caught.
I have also searched the forum there have been a few threads about MyByBox and other users using it, no one has had a problem except a few people being worried about the security of the boxes. I will keep everyone updated.

Excuse for the new account
So we had a couple go missing after hitting mybybox - we know they got there but never made it to the lockers and no notification from mbb.
We assume either spot checks or just plain internal theft.
We suspect that letters get more scrutiny than parcels, after all why would you use mbb to receive something that would otherwise fit through your letterbox. Parcels seem OK through them.

Thank you for the feedback would you mind letting me know what size parcels we are talking about? (obviously not exact amount just averages)

If the stealth is up to scratch a personal address will suffice. Just don't go ordering that Kg of coke you've had your eye on.
A drop is ALWAYS preferable, I'd say. A water-tight one even more desirable.
Be Good.

The letter-box size rule is probably all we would suggest. If it too big to go through a letter box, it's less likely to get a prod from mbb. Another factor is almost certainly account age and usage - new accounts should be 'broken in' with non-SR deliveries. Return addresses are also important, again just our thoughts and observations.

I thought about breaking the address in with a few packages from other vendors but then thought for a massive company like MyByBox would they really have the time to find out who is a new user etc then check the first packages for them?
Are there cameras around the box collections that you are aware of?
Thanks for the help

The advantage in having it delivered to your house, other than convenience, is you have plausible deniability. Maybe the package was sent you by mistake. Maybe someone sent a decoy package to your house. Maybe someone is trying to get you in trouble. Just because a package arrived at your house isn't proof you ordered it. If you get caught going to pick up the package, though, that will be a harder sell.
If you are worried cops are going to come busting through your door just don't open the package immediately. Wait a day or two.

The main thing is though I do not want any heat what so ever on my home address, using mybybox you can go 24/7 (police wont be doing a stake out for a few grams of cocaine and a couple of packs of Valium/Viagra) and for me if the package is intercepted and I lose my money that is a risk I'm willing to take as long as nothing is linked to me still.

How would one rent a larger box anonymously in Canada for receiving parcels

Seriously what is the point? You have hundreds of spam threads no need to do it here.

Sorry man based in UK not sure try googling postal lockers, rent post box etc in your local area and see the results. I have been told though never to order anything to P.O box addresses as they are usually checked more thoroughly.
