Does anyone know of someone that sells Salvia Divinorum plants or cuttings in OZ. Thanks if anyone can help
-
Me too!
Saw some last week but too slow to get my shit together.
-
Yeah I saw some about a month ago and likewise, when I get my shit together, not listed anymore.
Can you remember the vendor (am I allowed to ask that?). Wanted to message vendor but can't remember name. Product (cuttings) were listed in the 'Home & Garden section'...

i had them listed. but salvia clones are not so tough as cannabis clones. the reason is a virus which is in probably every salvia plant.
its even a problem to ship clones inside europe, its like 50/50 chance that they survive the stress. potted clones are a bit tougher but need some time until they are shippable. i bet there is someone who got a salvia in AUS who could create clones.

The listing I saw was from an AUS vendor. On the product page it claimed high success rates and had a bunch of useful info (which obviously now also isn't available). One thing I do remember it saying was NOT to stake the new cuttings when planting as it makes their stems weak in the long run. They will more than likely 'flop' over but resist the temptation to stake them and they'll right themselves after a couple of days. Had some other really useful info too - where are you Mr. Salvia Divinorum?

That vendor was DSR Syndicate.
I missed them when the vendor first listed them as well, but contacted them and they let me order after 2 weeks when their plant had recovered a bit.
I think it'd be unlikely though he'd sell any at the moment.
OJP is spot on though about them not being tough as cuttings. A delay from Auspost and my cuttings spent the weekend in the mail center and got delivered the next Monday. After a week in the post they arrived real sickly, just about dead and I was unable to try the magic touch and bring them back. DSR was completely understanding though and didn't leave me out of pocket.

DSR told me he might look into sending them out already rooted so they can withstand delays in the postal service and are much easier to look after and keep alive.

well, i only ship them rooted.
its easy to root salvia in water, usually needs only 5-7 days for 3cm long roots. but when you try to remove her from that 100% humidity and climate and plant her in 70% humidty environment, 2/4 will die or at least stop growth for several! weeks.
when they got roots they survive weeks inside the tubes, if sealed airtight and fit with a filter disk or polyfil filter. its just hard to get them to grow soil roots and start growing after any kind of stress ( shipping, other climate, other lights, etc) salvia is a lil bitch. thats it.
