Could someone clear the confusion for me;
If mail is sent as registered, does it need to be signed for when it arrives?
I've though that it doesn't need to be signed.
Also, does anyone know if there is any difference between receiving registered mail to mail box or to a home address?
It would help if you also tell what country you are in.

Uhh..The whole point of Registered Mail is to account for it's whereabouts throughout it's delivery process. It's akin to establishing a chain of custody ..same as LE would do with evidence. Shipping details documenting the mailpioece's location are recorded in an actual register.
