I genuinely feel like a noob

Finalising Early. it means you release funds to the vendor before they ship your product. and also the number 1 cause of getting scammed here.
if a vendor asks you to do it, ask them to cancel your order - there is always a vendor for any product that doesn't require it even for n00bs
-
I believe FE stands for Finalize Early, in other words, release your funds from escrow before your shipment arrives.
I think SR policy is to never FE, but many vendors insist on this.
My advice, choose a vendor who does not ask for FE.

vendors can only ask for FE after a certain number of transactions. i think it's 35 but not 100% on it. if they are caught asking before that magic number SR will suspend the account

thanks

It's a typical noob question, everyone asks the same thing. I wondered the same thing when I joined.

From what Ive read on the forums...my conclusion would be to NEVER EVER FINALIZE EARLY!
