Apparently, a lot of people need help with this which is perfectly acceptable. Instead of helping everybody individually and privately, I'll throw something up publicly (hopefully I don't get hassled for suspicion of being under the influence...hehe). I only hope people will be independent enough to use the site's search function to find this.
Here we go, noob guide to PGP on TAILS:
If you haven't made your key, click on the OpenPGP encryption applet in the top right corner. Select Manage Keys. Click on File> New and follw the instructions. I belive it's on the page that asks for name and e-mail that there's an option that says "advanced". Click on that and increase the bits for a stronger key. (The default is pretty low for some reason.)
After you have your key, click on the My Personal Keys Tab, right click on your key, and select copy. Paste it wherever you want your public key (double check that the key block you pasted is your public key and not somehow your private key though, to be extra safe). If you have a persistent volume, I suggest pasting it into gedit (applications>accessories>third one down) and saving it to the Persistent folder for quick access. Additionally, consider pasting it into the "Post PGP keys here" thread (http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=174.0) and including the link to your key in your signature.
To send an encrypted message, you must first find that person's key. Copy the key and paste it into the third tab of the applet titled Other Keys. Sometimes this doesn't work. If it doesn't, you can open gedit, paste the key, and save it. Then, in the PGP applet, import the key from the saved gedit document. Open gedit, type your message, click edit and select Encrypt. Select who you want it sent to and enter your passphrase.
To decrypt a message, copy the block and paste it into gedit. Click on decrypt at the top and select Decrypt. Enter your passphrase.
It's always a good idea to practice. I'll be happy to be your test dummy if you so wish. I'm no genius but let me know if you have any other questions, preferably in the thread so other people can see, and I'll do my best.

Total pgp noob here. Should I put my real name and email or make one up?

At least you asked instead of just putting your real name. Haha. Thanks! You need to have at least 100 posts to give people positive or negative karma. When you get there, there will be the option to [thank] or [discourage] a user under his/her karma.
I feel like one of the big kids now, all helping people and shit. Lol
