Title: Interest: Syringes and Medical Equipment
Post by: bag896 on October 25, 2012, 06:07 am
I see a lot of posting for insulin syringes and certain medical supplies on the site and was wondering what the actual demand is like for something like this. I am new to the forums and semi new to TSR, though I have made a few purchases over the last few weeks. If you are going to be a prick, please do not respond. Thanks.

what size syringes? and there is a HUGE demand (at least from me lol) for cheap mircon filters. I've heard of a product called "Sterifilt" but i've had trouble finding it.

Can't most of this stuff be bought legally online? Why the markup? I know exactly what Sterifilt is and could get 100 of them in a week or two.. The same deal with syringes..

I ordered and received a 100 quantity pack of Sterifilt for about $50 USD.

Feedback:
-they are shipped discretely from the UK and arrived without any customs etc.. issues to a city in the Pacific Northwest.
-took about 2 weeks from order date to receiving package
-it increases the efficiency of preparing a pill to iv preparation (vs cotton)
-I have re-used at least 4 times so you need not throw it out after every preparation. NOTE: this is not advised by the company and I am a sole IV user, so no sharing of any equipment with anyone else by me.
-the resultant liquid is very clear and the pill residue is visibly chunked up. re-adding water to the mixture and re-drawing up the liquid ensures a maximum use from the pill.

Where I ordered from:

In my opinion, these should be a part of any harm reduction program given their low cost and potential for lessening the risk factor of binders, starch, etc... that come from iv use of pills and tablets.
