Title: Money Pack--Fraud Alert ?
Post by: Dipset420 on April 11, 2012, 11:35 pm
When purchasing a money pack recently I noticed on the back it says.

GREEN DOT TRACKS THE USE OF THIS MONEY PACK.  We provide transaction information and surveillance images to law enforcement to solve crimes.  you may need to prove your identity to use your money pack.

When I got it they didn't ask for I.D.  What does this stupid Leo shit mean.  Any time I see a sheriff badge symbol on anything it makes my blood pressure rise.  Any one care to elaborate on this that's more experienced with the green dot.

Scare tactics/psy-ops

If it were really that easy, they wouldn't need to advertise it.

Just wear a pair of sunglasses when you purchase your card if you're paranoid.

I figured it was something like that.  Na I'm not that paranoid.  It even says on the card or their website, if a criminal uses your card there's nothing we can do about it lol.
