Title: Best way to Configure I2P & Tor?
Post by: yjQ0ESOiM on October 25, 2011, 05:18 pm
I just installed Tor and it uses Firefox as the default browser. Problem is I2P also uses FF as the default. I also like to install add-ons to FF and am worried about leaking personal info while using Tor (it's also inconvenient since I use FF for general web browsing).

I use Google chrome for Freenet. I tried the Tor bundle which uses Aurora, but I couldn't get it to work.

So how can I use Tor & I2P on different browsers without either of them using FF?
How can I use Tor, I2P, and Freenet simultaneously?

Thanks for any help.

Probably one of the reasons a lot of people download either Tails, which has no persistent data storage, but does use FF .   Or liberte linux, which does have persistent data storage, and uses another browser.  I know this doesn't answer your question specifically tho, perhaps someone else will have an answer.  I tend to get a bit sloppy and careless with continuous use of tor...
