Title: Question about placing an order on SR
Post by: jkfire on April 10, 2013, 03:32 pm
Ok so i'm hoping someone can verify if i've done this correctly:

I added an item to my cart, encrypted my name/address and copied/pasted to the address section. My question is should i have pasted my public key into this section too along with my address or not??

Thanks in advance for any help  :)

Yep, you're good. If the vendor wants to encrypt something to you they'd need your public key but usually they don't need to do that.

This :)
The sensitive information being sent is your address, so unless the vendor wants zero recorded contact or needs further coms it isn't essential :)

Better overthinking than under!
To CrackerJacker, most people use GPG4WIN :)

I use GPG4WIN currently, but i've heard that GPG4USB is a bit more versatile.
