can't find his I message him asking for writes back and says I'm getting soon

I've been using PGP with a vendor and all of a sudden he sends me an un-encrypted message with details of my order. Luckily is wasn't my address but I really didn't want the product description in clear text.

Yep, that's not right...sellers need to protect us: I know it seems a pain to learn gpg, but it protects buyers...we're the ones who have to send off our addresses, so sellers please learn how to put up your gpg public key...an hour of your time to learn, and we'll feel safer....
On all the other stuff, I'd just be real careful: escrow is what protects you, and any seller trying to play outside the system could be either a scam artist, or worse, LE, trying to get next to somebody....the site is set up in a good way to protect us all...avoid bad apples...

He's not necessarily a scammer, but I wouldn't trust him with your order.... doesn't seem like he'd protect your info properly or ship correctly or a whole host of problems involving a lack of technical understanding re: silk road.

The only things I've ever sent in cleartext were "sure", "yes", "not yet", and "it's ok :)". I never reply to clear text messages, and it really annoys me when buyers don't use PGP when talking to me, especially about orders!
