Sometime I stay up really late. Anyone know any good tricks to fall asleep quicker?

its all about the timing/getting blazed and not using a computer before bed.

exercising during the day helps, but do it at least 4 hours before you're planning on sleeping. don't watch tv or use a computer an hour before you go to bed, don't drink caffeine for at least 2 hours before bed.
reading helps me nod off as well.
if all else fails - "Nytol one a night". don't bother with the herbal stuff cos its crap

Melatonin (10-20mg) helps me out with some tea, but it gives you crazy dreams!

I take melatonin nightly, it works GREAT 2 3mg tablets is all it takes. HOWEVER, I find that if you force yourself to stay awake through it (about 2 hours) then it become useless for the rest of the night.
Also, sometimes if someone wakes me up in the middle of the night (if I've already taken melatonin) then I find that I cant use melatonin to get back to sleep.
However, it's great because you don't develop any dependance and it takes FOREVER to build any tolerance.
The only other thing I'd suggest is trazadone (1 or 2) tends to put me out like a mutha-fucka. Also, it will work multiple times a night.

5htp actually works, and also makes ya dream all wacky. but if you have like ten bucks, a nice cheap box of wine will have ya sleeping after slamming a few cups hahaha

I once had two trazadone and they turned me into a propper slipper shuffler, as in somone out of "one who flew over the cuckoos nest" , never again will I partake in those again.

Melatonin makes me a little more drowsy once I wake up but that usually wears off in an hour or two. Otherwise it works well for me.

Drink a Marley's Mellow Mood. They have Melatonin and Valerian Root. It puts me right to sleep.

Actually I think that would cause a small spike of adrenaline.
They used to sell "relaxation drinks" around were I live, they looked and tasted like energy drinks but instead of caffeine and shit, they had Valerian root and some other stuff.

Smoking some Indica an hour+ before sleep.

Diphenhydramine (benadryl) or Doxylamine (unisom).
Don't use it for too long or you will develop quite a tolerance. Luckily they are both OTC and dirt cheap. At costco, it's under a penny per pill for diphenhydramine and a little over a penny for doxylamine.
