Title: Music on opiates?
Post by: joywind on August 18, 2013, 04:10 am
SWIM has never tried opiates, but he does enjoy LSD, cannabis,  meth, and MDMA because they make music sound more awesome.

The best music Music enhancers:

1.) LSD and other psychedelics
2.) MDMA
3.) Amphetamines
4.) Marijuana
5.) Alcohol

In that order.

What about opiates? SWIM has never tried opiates.

Don't use that SWIM crap here.

We all know you are talking about yourself. SR is a big boy forum and we assume responsibility for our own actions.

That being said, opiates are my favorite class of drugs. I feel extremely relaxed and incredibly euphoric on them. I wouldn't really say they "enhance" music, but they do allow you to relax, zone out, and listen to music without distractions.

Opiates will fall somewhere between Marijuana and Alcohol with low to mild tolerance.  But in my opinion, after you build some tolerance it not only doesn't really enhance music, it almost stops you from giving a shit about music entirely.  At least, in mine and a few other friends experiences.

Heroin... really bassy music has a similar effect as MDMA would on your body.  Makes you feel fuzzy and warm.  Aside from that, it's nothing close to the auditory hallucinations and enhancement you get from psychedelics and even weed.
