Title: SR doesn't keep up with current Bitcoin price
Post by: CaptainSensible on January 04, 2012, 08:58 pm
O.K., so I know that the "1 Bitcoin=X dollars" display is gone from the SR site, but it's still possible to determine what SR is using as the price of a Bitcoin.  ( Take the amount of your SR funds and have them displayed in Bitcoins and then in Dollars.  Then take the Dollar amount and divide it by the Bitcoin amount.  That will give you the 1 Bitcoin = X Dollars amount )

Earlier today the price of a Bitcoin on the MtGox website went from about $5.40 per coin to a high of $5.70.  It then settled down to about $5.36.  But on SR the Bitcoin price was still at $4.93.  What gives?  I know there's a time lag on SR when it comes to updating the Bitcoin price but that's quite a difference.  I wish SR could be a little quicker with their Bitcoin updates.
