Title: Ether Request
Post by: l0verboy on May 08, 2013, 03:59 pm
From what I've read; Ether is a dissociative like ketamine or MXE. The idea of huffing a gas is appealing since the risk factors are relatively low for this particular drug. I would love to try some pure Ether if anyone can get this.

risk is pretty high if you are a smoker or want to take it with friends who smoke. Exploding bars were one of the reasons why the prohibition had to be stopped. People drank up to half a liter of ether each day. If you read the literature, there are nice anecdotal reports of cities being wrapped in the smell of ether.
Also, it is quite hard to inhale enough to get pretty high and you smell of it the whole day after (you wont, but your surroundings will notice). I still cant believe ANYone has really fell unconscious from an ether or chloroform laced piece of clothing (which is shown in movies often).
It evaporates very fast, too. If you wanna try it and live in the EU, I could send you some after the weekend. It is worth exploring, but to me, not as intense as N2O.

You are talking about ether, the same stuff used as an early anesthetic?

If so, It also happens to be the same thing that is in cans of car starter fluid. (The spray can's that you get at any auto-parts store or even walmart)

Ether is readily available on ebay, pure diethyl ether, see link ;

Good luck. Why not also order some chloroform? :D Always nice to have when the need to put someone under arises.

Don't recommend starter fluid. It is not pure ether.

I'm not an expert on ether, but threads like this are why we can't have nice things. Do not ingest starter fluid. If you ingest starter fluid, you're going to have a bad time. I'm pretty sure ether isn't in the mainstream anymore for a reason.

Thank you bruce. You are very right about us about not being able to have nice things. I'd +1 you if I could.

But to explain James, I believe methanol is the other ingredient in starter fluid, probably for abuse purposes.

The other ingredients should be hexanes and oils iirc. I dont have the need to use starter fluid, so I dont know exactly. You would need to distill it, given the boiling point of ether it wouldnt be hard.
Would you please elaborate on how this thread has anything to do with "us not being able the have nice things" I dont have any clue how I should understand that.
Solvent fumes have, of course, been linked to a plethora of diseases, brain and bodily functions are known to suffer. I know one guy who inhaled ether for decades. He is barely able to speak, stuttering intensely. Sad.

I have never heard of someone drinking ether, inhaling it yes but not drinking it.

Valvoline Started Fluid contains

H3C(CH2)5CH3 Known as Heptane
(C2H5)2O Known as Diethyl Ether
CO2 Carbon Dioxide to pressurize the can

Inhalation of Heptane causes  dizziness, stupor, in-coordination, loss of appetite, and nausea
Highest natural concentrations of Heptane are found in Dutch Lavender.
According to the MSDS sheet on Heptane: If it is swallowed the largest danger is aspiration into the lungs causing chemical pneumonitis.

So the addition of Heptane is not to stop abuse, it is a anti-knock additive so your car engine does not knock when it is running.

By no means would I consider the drinking or inhalation of the above good, but it should not kill you in small doses.

guys, seriuosly, instead on trying to distill ether out of starter fuid, just go to http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.Xdiethyl+&_nkw=diethyl+&_sacat=0&_from=R40 , and order some....  8)
