I checked the DC for something I was expecting and was surprised when I saw this:
Service(s): Delivery Confirmation
Status: Forwarded
Your item was forwarded to a different address at 9:38 am on October 14, 2011 in **Removed**. This was because of forwarding instructions or because the address or ZIP Code on the label was incorrect. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.
It made it to the town so I know the zip code wasn't wrong. That is usually the time the mailman delivers in the area, so he must of made it to the house and then said hes going to forward it? Anyone experience something like this before? I don't think it is something I should call the post office about.

its possible the address was wrong on shipping due to human error. sometimes packages are received at one post office then get forwarded to a closer post office for delivary.

I drove by the house the next day and saw the package sitting by the door, so I duno what happened but its all good now.
