Title: New UK legislation for tracking online data
Post by: bampot on June 14, 2012, 10:10 am
Slightly disturbing news today:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/jun/13/online-privacy-legislation-internet-phone-data

Not sure if/how this might affect TOR users...

It's only a matter of time before they introduce monitoring devices into all computers to check all activity (to stop terrorism and pedophiles of course).

I think we better get funding the first SR moon-landing. I am shot-gunning the first trip and the front seat.

Haha you would be quite mistaken my friend. I have only been vending for about 3 months and I'm still a fairly small fish on the Road. :)

What pisses me off even more than the intrusion is how fucking incompetent the measures are! Who is going to get snagged by this? Only the most idiotic and technically illiterate will send messages with the subject "I want to look at naked children, can you hook me up?" ect. Downloading the Tor browser bundle will practically render the whole thing an exercise in futility!

How about an oilrig in international waters?
