Title: What email provider
Post by: Fahshizzle on September 28, 2013, 08:36 pm
does everyone use now that tormail is out? i read somewhere using, as crazy as it sounds, hotmail or yahoo simply because they blend in with the 10billion others already out there and they dont require a phone number. I'm having issues with Claws mail though and getting the settings right. anyone able to help me understand pop3 vs IMTP providers and picking a carrier that will import safely and securly into Claws? would be shitty to come this far to faulter at something as simple as a proper email provider. thanks

I'm also wondering this as well.... haven't gotten to this point yet.  Still trying to figure out the whole bitcoins situation and not get scammed.  Mail and pgp are next on the list.  Didn't know TorMail was down, I'm new and find the info greatly appreciated.

Look into safe-mail.net. If you make an account, ensure you use the "fast" interface, it doesn't requires javascript.
