Hey there.
I placed an order last friday with a vendor that had it claimed on their page and product listing that I wouldn't need to FE.
The order was then marked to be in transit and the vendor then asked for me to FE.
After so much back and forth and arguing where I basically said can I please FE or not order at all, then he is now saying they will keep the order in escrow but change the shipping to express ( this is an international order )
I feel like after all of this back and forth that they are just trying to keep my money, because if I let this go though ( 13 days left before AF and the product has still not been sent ) the vendor could resolve it and take my money.
I want the vendor to cancel my order, would this affect my stats ? I know the package has not been sent and the vendor has been asking for FE while I have either said no to FE or cancel and I still have not gotten my money back.
What would you do in my position ?

May i know the VENDOR name ...? and
May I Know How Big the Order...? Below 1000$ or Above ...?
and my Advise is just talk to SR Staff... and said to Them to cancel the Order.

Tbe SR staff are very busy people so give them some time to get to your case it does need to be revied.
If your order gets taken to the resolution centre and there isn't a resolution by both parties then SR staff will review the case and decide how it should be delt with.

As long as all the messages are in plain text and not encrypted. The SR staff will definitely side with you. Go into resolution once you can and ask for a 100% refund and dont relent until staff step in and tell them it was never sent because their policies said no required FE and they asked you to FE. First however, ask the vendor to either let it stay in escrow or cancel the order. You did say they would let it stay in escrow with the express option so that should be fine with you.
-
Never Encrypted the message between you and the vendor....
So The staff can check it out, if they needed.

Remember, if it doesnt come before auto finalize you can go into resolution and ask for an extension, allowing for more time before auto finalize.

I am not intrested in having any further business with this vendor his customer service is terrible and atfter all of the messing around the package has still not been sent, so I do not want to let it go to the resolution centre because then it's going to be added to my stats.
If the vendor cancels it now will it be added to my stats or if the SR staff cancel it ?

If the vendor cancels your order, it won't affect your stats. If they cancel it after it's marked as "in transit", you will be able to leave feedback for the transaction as well as get a refund. Your stats will only be affected when you have a dispute in the Resolution Centre and are awarded a refund of some sort from the vendor or Admin.

Buyer places an order
Seller cancels the order. A full refund is given to the buyer.
Buyer cancels the order. Four days after the order is placed, if the order has not been market "in transit", the buyer may cancel the order.
Seller ships the product and marks it "in transit". Regardless of the outcome after this point, the buyer will be able to leave feedback.
Seller cancels the order. A full refund is given to the buyer.
Buyer finalizes the order. Payment is released to the seller. The buyer may finalize any time after the order has been marked in transit, though they should not do so unless they have received and are happy with their product. Once the order is finalized, it will not be possible to obtain a refund.
Buyer sends the order to the Resolution Center.
Buyer and seller agree on refund amount. Same effect as the buyer finalizing except they are refunded anywhere from 0 - 100%.
Admin decides refund amount. Same effect as the buyer finalizing except they are refunded anywhere from 0 - 100%.
Buyer does nothing. The order will automatically finalize and release payment to the seller 17 days after it was placed.

Thank you I was after confirmation, the vendor does not want to seem to cancel the order so he changed from asking me to FE to letting me stay in escrow but I just do not want to have any further business with them anymore and want to go elseware.
I've sent another msg to the vendor asking to cancel and a msg to SR staff about the issue and will send another if they do not want to cancel it, I know the package has not been sent from what he has been telling me so it shouldn't be of a problem.
I was more worried about my stats being effected by some silly argument.
Thanks.
