Title: BTC - ziggap or bitfloor?
Post by: beastpiss77 on February 25, 2013, 05:08 pm
For my first purchase of bitcoins, I did bitinstant --> Mt.Gox --> bitcoin wallet --> SR. It went perfectly smoothly, but now I'm hearing that bitinstant and Mt.Gox are no good. I've heard of some people using ziggap.com, which seems pretty easy, and bitfloor. I did process a payment through bitfloor, but haven't deposited the cash at B of A yet. One thing that concerned me was that it makes you tick a box that says you'd provide valid ID if required. Would B of A ask you for ID to make a deposit? I'm guessing no, right? Because obviously I'm using fake information, so that would be a problem.

Ziggap also involves depositing to a bank (Chase), or MoneyGram, which is similar to my experience with bitinstant. Anybody here have experience with either of these services?

I just checked out ziggap.com and it appears they offer the option to deposit your Bitcoins straight into your SR Bitcoin address.  I think I will try it for my next Bitcoin purchase.

For my first deposit, I did Bitfloor -> wallet -> SR. I was not asked for id at the bank branch nor does Bitfloor ask you for id.

And in terms of how it all went--better than I thought it would have. I deposited on a Saturday at Bank of America and when I got home 10 minutes later the money was already in my Bitfloor account. Then I just bought bitcoins on there and transferred out to a wallet and then to SR.

Which brings me to... today :) Finally placed my first few orders and am stoked!

I hope you figure out a good method. Let me know if you have any questions.
