I am unable to log into SR (says Login Failed, please try again). I have a feeling my account might be compromised since I've entered the same password (the same one I've always used) over and over without much luck, but if someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having a similar problem when trying to view a vendor's page. I enter my login and pass and the captcha correctly and it just tells me that it failed. I can't view anything off the forum. Anybody have any ideas? Mod?

I am having the same problem; however I have not viewed my vendor account for many months. Perhaps it was inactivated due to not logging in?
Thank you.

I'm having the same problem with my buyer and future vendor account...neither one will get past the login screen, despite the passwords definitely being right.
I'm somewhat worried too - I just got ripped off, and I'm afraid that the person compromised my account to keep me from posting about his FE scamming (after 1+ of being a 100 ranked vendor).
It's probably just me being paranoid, but....yeah, neither of my logins works.
Help?

Sorry to hear that folks.
There are several possible reasons why you're unable to connect:
- If there is something wrong with your browser settings (e.g. cookies)
- If you used a compromised SR address, commonly found on THW, your PW could have been compromised (happened to me once, luckily I had only a few coins on it that magically disappeared)
- If an adversary compromised your computer and gained access to your PW's
One solution could be to create a new account and contact SR Support. If you can prove that you're the legitimate account holder Support can reset the PW for you (e.g. send a signed message with your private key that is connected to your account)
Good luck & let us know if you need more help

@MySecretAccount: Let me guess. Tony76? Yea, I'm in the same boat, that's why I think my account might have been compromised.
@Cpt. Meow: Just to make sure, the account I should pm is 'SR Support'? And unfortunately I stopped using PGP a while ago (for various reasons that are of no great importance to this thread) so I do not have a private key. I can recollect past transactions, approximately however many bitcoins I had before I could no longer log in, the backup btc address, and my PIN. Would any of these constitute as enough evidence to regain control over my account?
