Now, I have only had the pleasure to indulge in Soma...and I was quite fond of it, overly fond more likely, for a couple years in the mid-00's. I have read that meprobamate (brand name Miltown) is a metabolite of Soma and gives it much of its punch. From what little I know, Miltown was a very popular med in the 60's/70's but was phased out in the US b/c of it's abuse potential. This gives me reason to believe it's a stronger, bolder Soma...and that I would love it to death. However, I have heard skepticism from some who tell me not to even bother...that Soma and Miltown/Meprobamate are pretty much the same damn thing. Just wondering if I could get some more input on this...I can't get meprobamate out of my head, but if it's not worth the bother, I won't bother.
Additionally, I have never had the pleasure of experimenting with Zanaflex. It is classified as a muscle relaxer much like the other two, but I think that's where the similarities end. It is also said to have recreational aspects to it. Very interested to read a compare/contrast sort of deal with Zanaflex and the two carbamates above. Is Zanaflex worth pouring money into ??? Or shall I not bother ??
Thank you so much for any input y'all may have......appreciate any recommendations..... 8)
