Is there any alternative to Bit Instant ans QuickBitcoins? I know about localbitcoins but is there another site where you can make cash desposit or payment centers?

I am also interested, I need $1000 worth of BTC sometime soon and right now I'm SOL.
EDIT: I called their office and they said it was a DDoS issue and they should be back up in a couple of hours.

Depends on where you are. There is a company called Canadian Bitcoins and they have an office in Ottawa. I just walk in and pay cash for mine in person and they are in my account by the time I get home. But they will also accept mailed cash. Go to their website, choose cash or drop off, how many Canadian dollars you want to spend, cut and paste your wallet code and send. Then print the order form off and mail it to them with your cash. When they receive your cash they will complete the order and release the coins to you, totally annonymous.
If you are going to drop the cash off in person you still want to fill their form out online and send it before you go so everything is ready and he just has to click send when you hand the cash over. This is important so that you can just cut and paste your wallet code at home and not try to have them type the long assed case sensitive code by hand and fuck it up.
Anybody wants to know more let me know....

FYI:
I just successfully processed a Bitinstant cash deposit ---> BTC Address. The funds are sitting in my wallet waiting for SR to come back up.
Took no more then 45 mins to receive the coin.

me2, and i don't understand why get-bitcoins went down, i cant imagine someone willingly shutting down such an easy way to make money, just sit at home and type and the money rolls in

I'd be very interested in buying bitcoins directly through a vendor if they could offer competitive rates for their services. Although I suppose it doesn't matter because I haven't been able to access my sr account all day.
