I am really frustrated here. I transfered a decent amount of BTC into my SR address, one that I have been using for months with zero problems. The transaction shows up on the blockchain and has over 422 confirmations, so it can't be that I sent it to the wrong address. I sent the transaction 3 days ago, messaged SR support but have yet for get a response back.
What is going on here? This is a very annoying problem.

there are a number of threads from people experiencing a similar issue if you would look around first
what you will notice is eventually when people keep using very old addresses they end up with the deposit not showing up
if youd read numerous places on the forum and SR it recommends you get a new address for each new deposit
your money is not lost, but recently there have been glitches and down time on SR so support is far behind on messages and honestly has more important issues to deal with right now but they will get back to you and correct the deposit eventually just have patience
make sure you have sent them the transaction info, address and amount to help them out

Hi @microRNA,
I'm in the same boat as jonscotch regarding coins not registering in my SR account, have messaged SR Support numerous times and none of the messages have even been read, let alone replied to. I can certainly empathize if the support crew are extremely busy (which I imagine they are) and so responding to messages is probably delayed. But it seems to me that this is a very important issue.... I hope the SR staff shares the same sentiment and can work to correct the problem quickly.
I have nothing but the utmost respect for the SR community; Respect for those who created the SR and respect for those who maintain it, however I purchased BitCoin with the expectation that the process would work as it always had- Unfortunately it has not and I am left helpless. I am really disappointed that not one of my messages to SR Support has even been read...I begin to worry that perhaps this is an unresolvable issue.
Also, this is the first I have ever heard about the importance of changing SR addresses between transactions. If it is such a critical step (which it seems to be) then the community must be educated to this point. Admittedly I have been disconnected from SR for the past several months so I may be preaching to the choir, but upon jumping back in here there were no indications that this was an important process, and now many of us are in a very frustrating and concerning predicament.
Anyway I hope this becomes a priority for SR soon! :-\

I also have never heard before that I should request a new address for each deposit. I was always under the impression that getting a new address would forfeit that wallet and thereby all the BTC in it, something obviously no one would want to do.
I agree with the above poster that this should be brought up more often as I have never heard this before. Plus it might help people from running into a problem like mine and the above posters.
Hopefully I can get my BTC back soon.

I don't mean to be rude here, but can I please get some kind of feedback from SR Support? I have heard nothing in 6 days, and I am extremely upset. This may not be "top priority" to SR Support, but it is to me, because right now, it is basically as if you guys have stolen a sizable amount of bitcoins from me and I am not happy.

In exactly the same boat. I used the same address for a long time, and there was absolutely zero indication that that had suddenly become a bad idea. I have sent a message to tech support with all the relevant information which appears to be unread.
I would appreciate some "official" indication that this is a known issue with a definite path to resolution, even if it's not as fast as I would like. I'm prepared to be patient - I understand that this is not Amazon!
Thanks for all the hard work!

I just got a message from DPR saying he credited my account the missing BTC. Thanks so much! Hopefully other people with this problem will have their issues resolved soon.
-
I received a reply saying that it can take up to 72 hours for the BTC to show up. It used to only take as long as it took to confirm the transaction, but that's fine, so long as I know! It's been around 36 hours so far.

Hi Guys,
I am having same problem and its been over 72hours.
How do I contact SR support?
Thanks

I too am having a similar problem. In mine though, part of my deposit arrived and the other part didn't. I didn't change addresses every time, but every few times anyway.
I deposited about 28btc and only 16 actually arrived. My account though, shows the 16 arriving several times which it did not, (it arrived once)and it showed 12btc arriving which really *did not arrive at all.* The total in my account did go up by 16btc when the 16btc arrived. The total however *did not change at all* when the transaction history says the 12btc arrived because it actually didn't arrive.
I got a reply from admin saying "it looks like you made the deposit when you said you did, but it seems you deposited much more than you say you did. What is the problem again?" I hope they're not implying they don't believe me. I had to write back explaining in detail that I did not deposit 16btc several times and why the history says I did I do not know. I explained that if they look at the total in my acct after each supposed deposit, it only went up one time, not several times. Thus the 16 btc only arrived once, as I said. I then explained that even though the history says the 12btc arrived, again, if you look at the total amount in my acct, *it did not change at all when the 12btc *supposedly* arrived* because it never did arrive. This happened almost a week ago now. I'm waiting for a reply from Admin RE my second message to them answering their question . I really hope I don't have to write off $132 .
I too understand that admin is busy, but I also agree that buyers money just disappearing, or not showing up, or part of it not showing up, is quite important. Especially to the people losing the money. $132 is not pocket change to me.

Same problem over here, over 100BTC's not showing up...
Very, very frustrating.

This happened to me last week as well. It took over 4 days for me to get my 90 something bitcoin. I've accidentally hit new address before when I had a deposit on the way already. I messaged SR about it, worried, and they said it was ok. that you'll still get your coin that was heading to the other address as well. Sure enough, it showed up a couple of hours later. Hope I can help to ease some of y'alls' fears here:)
-
Wow!! It seems my $132 IS pocket change compared to what some people are missing. :o I'd be pretty upset if I transferred 100btc and it just did not show up in my acct.
I assumed my problem might be related to, or stem from, all the problems the site has been having as of late, but maybe that's not the case. Based on what MicroRNA said, it could be because I used the same address a few times over. The thing I don't understand then, is if I have a wallet, say with any one of the btc sites, or a software based wallet, how come my money always arrives in it when I use the same address many times over? Sincere question.
Anyway, between vendors frustrated that they can't get on their vendor pages, customers frustrated that they can't purchase, people missing money as well as the other usual tech problems....forgotten pw's, lost pins, scams etc, etc, I suppose SR admin must be inundated with messages asking for help with all kinds of matters. So I'm sure they're probably frustrated too and are doing their best. I got a reply from admin regarding my problem and a few days later a question about the matter from DPR himself. So at least I know they are looking into the matter and that makes me feel better. It may be taking a while, but I guess it's a busy place and their are only so many administrators to go around. It's not like they can just advertise for more help. ;)
Who knows, I could have had another message about this by now, but I can't get on to the site. I guess with it being the weekend, the servers must be over run with traffic again.
