Title: Simple cart improvements
Post by: nef on July 27, 2011, 02:25 am
Two simple suggestions:

1) On the cart, it would be great if the vendor name were also displayed along with the item.  To get a seller's PGP key, I have to click on the item, then click on the vendor name to get to the vendor page.  This would just save a click.  It would also make it easy to ensure that all items are from the same vendor before creating an encrypted address message to the vendor.

2) Even better, what if the vendor could enter their PGP/GPG key into a dedicated field, and then a link to their public key could be displayed right in the checkout page?  This would have the side effect of encouraging PGP/GPG usage.

Thanks for the amazing site!

Black Market does this, and well as certain site that have been around for quite a while, like the Shroomery and the DMT-Nexus.

It shouldn't take TOO much work, a field on peoples settings page to input the public key, but it might take more processing on the server side...
I'd LOVE to see this implemented though.
