Title: Imported a vendor's PGP key, but when I encrypt it isn't an option. Help!
Post by: doomrider on June 03, 2012, 06:05 pm
Hey guys,

I am having pgp trouble. I have never had trouble before, but now I am stumped. I imported public keys for two vendors, and both imported correctly. But, when I highlight some text and try to encrypt the selection, the vendors keys are not an option in the "Choose Recipients" window. I am using GPG services on a mac.

Anyone have some help? It's frustrating because I want to make a purchase ASAP.

Thanks.

Open your GPG Keychain Access program. It should display the vendor's public key, try deleting then importing their key again.

Thanks for the reply, brother. I have already tried scrubbing (deleting) my imported keys and re-importing them, but I am having the same issues.

Do the vendor public keys show up as an option at all? or are they just grey text with no option to select?
