Before I deposited my bitcoins from the fog to Silk Road, I changed my address. Go to deposit coins, everything starts off dandy. So I go to sleep.
I now wake up, a significant time into the deposit, and I notice my address at Silk Road is new again. Completely different than what my new address was. A new new address. I also noticed that the constant mini-deposits have stopped.
Am I fucked out of the rest of my coin? What can I do?
EDIT: The trickle has restarted, but yet again I am presented with a new wallet address.
???

That just shows the newest generated address. The ones you made before shouldn't stop working.
Great, thank you so much! Was terrified I was out of a bunch of coin. +1

To be honest this isn't made clear on the 'Account' page. Whilst it's obvious to me, I see countless people asking this on the forum, SR should put a message making this clear next to the 'generate new address' button.

here the same question. The Old Bitcoin adress is be valid for my account? how long?
for example: when i have on 01.06.2012 the bitcoin adress "xyz123" can i use the same adress on 01.07.2012 without trouble?

That's very true. My impression was that all previous addresses work for receiving coins. But frankly, I don't remember where I read this. Yes, SR should put a bold notice next to "Generate New Address" specifically stating that old addresses still work.

For me too it was just in the cobwebs of my mind. I believe at some point this was explicitly stated on that page or buyer's guide. I'm guessing at some point perhaps some older addresses got detached from things, and while this usually works they don't want to make any binding guarantees that an ancient SR e-wallet from 2 years ago is going to keep working, and thus leave this undocumented.
I'll tell you one thing, each time you fund the account the address changes, but they still work. How long, I don't know.

The old addresses are permanently associated with your SR wallet and should not stop working at any time.
