Title: First order fiasco, forgot to encrypt
Post by: Noramo on December 10, 2012, 04:27 pm
I just plain sent my info plain text for an order, it's currently processing... I now know this was a huge mistake, what I can't find out is whether or not it's going to mess my order up at all... any advice? I can't seem to cancel my order, the coins have been transferred.

If the info was sent during the order via SR, then it was encrypted.  The PGP and privnote.com are extra layers of security.  Don't sweat it.

However, some vendors will not accept orders without this extra layer of protection.  If this is the case, the vendor may cancel.  Otherwise, expect your package to be shipped.  Good luck!

Thanks for your reply, I wish I knew how to give karma for that...

Thanks!

You can't give karma until you have 100 posts.

I should add that you should use extra encryption.  Your security should always come first.

I'm happy to have given you your first +1!  Happy Holidays!
