Title: Quick noob question on how to pay for goods
Post by: stevie863 on September 21, 2013, 03:48 pm
Whats up guys Im new to this stuff and was wondering if I could get some clarification on some things.

Specifically paying procedures. I have my bitcoins on VirWox. If I buy something, can I send my coins straight from my VirWox account to the seller's wallet/address or do I need to create my own wallet first and then send the coins from my wallet to the seller wallet? You know what I mean?

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I believe there is a read me somewhere on the main page of the SR, but the quick answer is that you transfer it to your SR wallet that is created with your account.  Then you order, it then goes into escrow, then finalize.  There are more details in between these steps so make sure you read up.

On your SR page, under account, you'll have a btc wallet address... you must send your coin there.  Once you order something, the funds will automatically be taken out and put into escrow for you.

But more importantly... is your VirWox account associated with your real name/bank account in any way?  If so, you should run your coin through a tumbler/mixer to be safe.
