Hi there I have only been on here a short while and had my wallet emptied not a huge amount as i'm sure many have been burnt a lot more only .61 btc but was some money which was going towards a party what I would recommend every user doing is changing their password and pin with every single transaction made be it deposit or otherwise I don't want anyone else to have to go through the same as I :( Also please don't Finalize Early if the vendor insists try and find another one..

If this has been useful please send any unused BTC to the above, or just pay it forward in some way

That sucks man. Thanks for sharing, I'll be extra careful with who I deal with.
-
you visited some fake sk?
maybe you don't know...
never send your PIN until you need to buy something.
-
I am very sorry that happened to you. We all have to take the risk here.
And avoid phishing sites. Do never reveal your PIN to anybody. : )

No that's a different Wallet, I have changed Wallet Id Passphrase and pin on SR since then... :) ahh well you live and learn its just ruined next weekend for me :(
in future I will not keep any funds in my SR wallet as those funds were in there less than 2 hours!

Not sure about fake sites, but I have only used my pin once the other time I sent funds from a different wallet to SR one :-\

Thanks guys for the replies, I haven't been able to figure out how this was done, and unfortunately that was all the money I can spare for this month at least...
Best of luck to you all and I hope it goes smoothly for you all buying or selling :D

Just an added note to noobs who may not know better - Avoid any sites with the extension onion.to
They're up to no good I tells ya.

The *only* way someone could withdraw funds from your SR account is if they had your PIN. So you either inserted it in some phishing site (or similar thing) or you have a keylogger into your PC (in this second case changing PIN will do nothing, the keylogger will simply record the new PIN away) without knowing it.
I suggest you to scan your PC well if you are sure you didn't use a phishing site or gave away the PIN in some other way.
If you use Windows it is always best to use a VM dedicated to ToR and SR and used for nothing else, and even better (much) if it is a Whonix linked VM (there's a tutorial very easy to follow about this in the security section). Alternatively be sure to have a good anti-virus/firewall (please not the windows one, a good one free is ZoneAlarm) and malware blocker/finder (plus naturally an encrypted partition/content in which you use ToR).
