Title: Will Silk Road always revolve around Bitcoin
Post by: thecatinthehat101 on July 11, 2013, 06:46 pm
Hi friends I was just curious I don't know about you but the instability of Bit coin and the problems revolving around the currency in general have been unforgiving. So the question is will S.R always be Bitcoin payment only or will it evolve eventually to accept other Crypto currencies or forms of payment that remain safe for the parties involved?

It's not smart it doesn't seem right to me to rely so heavily on Bitcoin and nothing else for payments.

Silk Road please investigate alternatives many of your customers and I would like to see another way to pay in the near future instead of the inconvenient Bitcoin.

I feel like we'll always find a way to launder our coins, it'll just get harder with all this regulation bringing down the hammer on companies that sell bitcoin.

Litecoin seems to be superior to bitcoin from what I've read. Faster transaction times and double the total amount of coins so people will be mining longer and stay invested in it longer. If litecoin takes over the regulation and efforts to stop money laundering will be the same though.

I think SR will support the most capitalized/stable currency.  Right now BTC is a pretty good solution.  I trust SR to adapt to the changing markets.
