It's really a twilight zone - In 4 browsers, on 4 different machines, 2 Linuxes, 2 Win7's, I can't see left tree menus on Silk Road... The problem was occasional before, but now it's permanent! :(( Since all computers are going through same ISP, i seriously suspect some kind of filtering is involved... Anyone experiencing the same?

Below "Shop by Category", there was a nice tree with all categories that you could browse, I just don't see that tree now... Understand now? :)

Which browsers did you try?
All modern ones are capable of showing that menu.

Several last versions of FF distributed with Tor Browser bundle... BTW, I can't even list one category when I try to display it by pushing it in search results...

What about the start page where all categories are shown by default?

No categories are displayed on the startpage, I'm hopeless... And I know something can't be filtered out by ISP, because it's Tor network...... real twilight zone.

Go to the main page and press CTRL+U.
Then search for "<div id="main_menu">" and see if the menu items are present in the next line.

searched for "<div id="main_menu">" and it is immediately closed with </div>, so i definitely miss the content...
btw, why SR is not working atm? I guess it's intentional to stop people from getting their BTCs from it because today is a big panic day?

anyone knows how to connect with chrome to tor network, i guess i'm somehow able to use socks proxy made by tor bundle? what i need is http->socks translation as i understand...

Wow, that's fucking ridiculous. Someone filters your content. I don't know who or why, by it does happen.

I have the same problem for over a month and i dont understand why it doesnt happen to allot more people.
i use liberte USB and it happens there and its also happening in windows when i use teh latest version of the tor bundle browser
what i have found is it only occurs when you have your listings sorted by "domestic only". when you UNCHECK that option the whole menu starts to appear again.
so people might want to start unchecking their options to filter from domestic to international to get by this.
however if you want to sort domestically this becoms a massive problem and would hope it gets fixed asap.

go to a vendors page and look at their listings, click one of the categories of items (eg prescription) and then you will get a list of every prescription item sold on silkroad.. it shows all the items, not just the vendors
after that up the top there is a menu saying "sort domestically" and yours will most likely be checked... if you uncheck it then hit "update" you shold be good to go

thanks a lot, that "fixed" it... still it's not a fix but bug.

SOLUTION:
for some reason when you lose the menu's its because SR has forgotten what country you come from. To be able to get the menu working again you have to go into
ACCOUNT
then SETTINGS
and then go and reset your country to whatever it is
then hit
UPDATE
and after that your domestic listings will show again... for some reason your account "forgot" what country you chose was.
