Title: JackBlue vendor review thread!
Post by: EzzeeK on October 19, 2012, 10:54 pm
I was lucky enough to get a sample of Blue Dream and Jack the Ripper from JackBlue.  The order arrived priority in 2 days.  Now the samples were not vac sealed, but they were sealed very safely and professional looking.  No smell was ever detected even after opening the package.   The package was very discrete and blends in well.  Once unpacked, I weighed each sample and they were generously 1.5 g each totaling 3 grams!  I'll start with the Blue Dream which came in two nugs with tight calyx growth.  The visual appearance was trimmed neatly and looked covered in trichomes.   I opened up the bud and a forest of huge mature, untouched trichomes appeared and made me even more excited to try it.  The cannabis is nicely cured and smells like haze.  I smoked it in a clean bowl and it was a clear sativa high with a haze like taste.  Now for Jack the Ripper.  The appearance of the bud has a lot more red pistils and was once again covered inside and out with trichomes.  I cleaned out the pipe again, loaded it up and hit it.  The taste was lighter with a little citrus twist.  The high was uppity, clean, and was able to think and relax.  The cannabis looks like it was produced by a caring, knowledgeable grower.  With his prices and the quality of this medicine it will go fast.  Thank you very much JackBlue.

Total fan now.... Jack The Ripper is the most amazing bud i have tasted off SR. Total life changing smoke. Samples were sent very stealth and 1.5 grams i was shocked at the amount... Blue dream was amazing top shelf both but i have a new top 3 JACK THE RIPPER.... Placed second order already.... Thanks for bringing your product to Sr Jack

Where to begin with this vendor... First off, let me say that although this rave review might seem like someone brown-nosing after getting free weed, I am being 100% honest in posting this.

In 50+ orders, I have never been so impressed with a vendor's packaging. Without going into too much detail, the product is sealed many times over and is cleverly disguised.

The weed is fucking awesome too, straight up. Love the appearance of the Jack the Ripper, but still evaluating which one is "danker". Both taste superb and were, in my opinion, far better than most of what I could get locally.

Thanks JackBlue, I know I'll be back.

I just got my order from JackBlue.  I can't agree with the OPs more.  The Blue Dream I orders is frosty as hell and the free Jack the Ripper was such a great surprise.  I was kicking myself for not ordering it in time,  This Jack the Ripper is DANK!!  PHEWWW!!  Both the order and the sample were VERY generous!!!  I will leave a full review in the Cannabis section.  A new vendor hitting Silk Road like pimp!!!

This vendor was right on the money... and it was a free sample! The shipping is top notch: there is no smell coming through and it will make you feel like a kid again, ripping through a Christmas present. So you need not worry about the shipping faults of this new vendor, what about the product?

We can start on the fact that this is cannabis grown with love! One can tell this bud is not commercially grown or harvested for weight alone, the cure is superb and flushed of additives. The buds have tight calyxes and are literally caked in trichomes to the point where it looks like this stuff is laced with sugar.
It's not laced with sugar though, but it should may as well be- the taste is sweet and citrusy on the JTR, and superbly floral on the BD. The highs are cerebral, with an bunch of giggles on the JTR and a boost of creativity on the BD. The JTR kept me high for 2-3 hours and the BD was the redose strain of which I am still high on!

Both strains carry great bag appeal, the kind I would pull out at a smoke session to put my fellow tokers to shame. Don't be skeptical of the price, it's low because you're getting it straight from the grower and what could be better than that?

My experience is pretty much the same as everybody here. I really did like the packaging, he put a lot of extra care into it. Both strains made it uncompressed and look very well taken care of.

I got some blue dream from another top vendor and this stuff is right up there, it actually taste and smell better. It's pretty potent, but I need a good wake and bake to tell just how potent. Overall it's the same quality that I usually spend $60-65 for 3.5 grams on SR, so his prices are really good.

The jack the ripper was my favorite of the 2, but I'm a big sativa fan so I am biased. The taste interesting, almost a pine sol quality to it. This bud was well cared for, looks exactly like the picture.

Great weed at great prices and secure fast shipping, what else needs to be said.

Fucking Fantastic vendor!

I saw the sample listing and ordered even though I am new to the road. I am a big fan of good sativas so I took a chance. Thankfully JackBlue sent the sample!

The communication was great, fast shipping 3 days to east coast tri state area. Awesome packaging!

The bud is awesome! Jack the ripper is a hairy beast. My first time smoking this strain and I am very impressed. I put a .2g in the bong great uplifting high!

The Blue Dream looks incredible. I packed a .2 right after the jack. It did not taste as hazey as the blue dream I'm use to but it did taste great! I just smoked . 4g of two great strains, needless to say I am Super high  8) Look forward to  more packages from Jack!

Wow. A very generous person.

Shipped the sample Priority and got here in about 3 days. Packaging was immaculate, if you ordered from Christy Nugs it is reminiscent of her stealth packing. A lot more than expected for a completely free sample. Received 2 1.5 gram buds of both Jack The Ripper and Blue Dream. Perfectly preserved, and absolutely beautiful. Very tight dense nugs, trimmed and cured very well. Ash is white, no chemical taste or harshness. Jack the Ripper are both pretty mellow, not that I don't get pretty high I just don't feel zonked out. The prices are amazing for this kind of quality. I hope you start listing ounces or more soon. I would happily be a long time customer as long as you stay in stock. This guy is a professional, that is all I have to say.

JackBlue's packaging is immaculate. One of the best and more creative packaging I've seen on the road. I'm quite impressed by the professionalism displayed. I ordered another product from a more established vendor, and JackBlue's packaging exceeded that vendor's packaging. However, I did not see a DCN on the package. I wonder if that's due to the package being just a sample. Shipping was very fast. I placed an order for the sample on Wednesday. He shipped it out the next day, and it arrived the following day (Friday) on the opposite coast! As for the product, I received 2gs of both Jack the Ripper and the Blue Dream, which is very generous of JackBlue. Both samples came uncompressed and appear to be trimmed, dried, and cured well. I will update on the quality of his samples as I want them to be the first strain I smoke tomorrow. As of right now, I'm very impressed by what I've received from JackBlue. If Jack the Ripper is as good as I'm reading, I'll most definitely acquire more in the immediate future. The price for it is very appealing. Don't allow JackBlue's status as a new vendor scare you away, he knows what he is doing.

Thank you JackBlue for granting me the opportunity to try your product!

Sometimes a vendor comes along that blows my mind. Sometimes, a new vendor comes along that offers professional service, impeccable (!!!) packaging, KILLER bud, and an overall experience unrivaled by most other vendors. Sometimes, as I'm taking my first toke off a new vendor's product I think, "Fuck, life is GOOD".

JackBlue IS that vendor.

I love my sativas. I mean, the kushes are nice and bountiful, but sometimes I want to smoke a fatty and let my head wander and do its thing while my body (read: legs) remain functional. Jack the Ripper is that bud. Fucking beautiful, cerebral, fruity, natural, mind-expanding bud. This shit is LEGIT. I love this weed. I may have vocally professed my love for JackBlue himself as I finished my first joint. It doesn't smell like the dankest bud; my buddy described it as what would happen if "Citrus and Skunk had a boring baby". Well, sign me up for babysitting because I'm getting quite attached to this one.

I haven't tried the BD yet; I've had this strain before and I'm a huge fan. I will try to update later. But fucking hell this vendor is LEGIT.

5/5
5/5
5/5
5/5

Thank you JackBlue - for doing it right. I'll be back.

Received my sample pack from JB yesterday. Packaging was very stealth and double sealed. After opening the first sealed package the contents instantly stunk my place up and I knew then that JB delivered the goods. After getting through the remaining packaging I got down to a 1.5g of JB's Blue Dream and Jack the Ripper. Both buds looked, for lack of a better word, perfect. Spending a lot of time around very high quality mj, I rarely get this impressed, these grows are connoisseur grade and would put them up against any bud you would find in a mmj collective. I would get into how these buds smoked but I feel it is that good you should buy some and find out for yourself. Seriously, if you consider yourself a fan of high quality herb, JackBlue will meet and exceed your expectations, give this person your money.

Just placed a small order with JackBlue just to test the waters as a first time buyer.. Im impressed with all the positive reviews and will be back to update on my order once received!!

Edit in: JackBlue was pretty quick to reply to a message I sent them after ordering to make sure I did everything right, being my first time and all, and was extremely polite too. I think I have my new/only permanent greenery vendor here on the SR ;D

Just placed a few orders for some Jack the Ripper and Blue Dream.  I've had the latter strain, but not the former, and these prices are a steal!  Very delighted to see a vendor offering free priority shipping, low-cost top-of-the-line pot, and incredibly stealthy shipping.  I'm looking forward to writing a glowing review of your green.

Thank you so much JackBlue for letting me review your products and services.  I have always preferred the sativas over the indicas and this time was no disappointment.

5/5 for the steal;thy shipping and quickness of it. In my opinion, this was far better then a normal "vac seal". This vendor takes pride in his shipping methods. When you get a shipment from him then you know that JackBlue has strong intentions of you getting what you ordered. Mine took 4 days from the time it was placed in transit and had a sunday to go thru.

10/5 for these dank buds!  These are Sativas at there best. The Bluedream was just scrumptious. The flavors of the Blueberry pie exploded on my taste buds and the aroma was just as fruity. Covered in a white frost of trichromes, this bud left me in a wicked trance for over an hour after just 3 mansized hits off a joint that I rolled using just 1/4 of the gram and a half JackBlue sent me.

I also got a gram and a half of the JackTheRipper and rolled a joint with 1/4 of it and gave it the three hit challenge.

10/5 I can see why these are priced differently. The JackTheRipper has more frosty white trichromes then the Bludream. This bud is absolutely incredible. Of course we all know how everybody likes the OG strains being indica and all. JackTheRipper is better then the OG's in my opinion and the aroma will even tell you that with the first whif.

Anybody that wants in on this better hurry and get those coins going. This is the kind of vendor and Buds that make me feel compelled to donate to.

Thanks again JackBlue I will hopefully be buying some more JackTheRipper and if I don't then I'll at least donate to your account to at least pay you back for shipping. These buds are so good that I feel like I owe you

Got my zip of bd and jtr today
2 day shipping, and damn the packaging is ahead of this game

Both buds are really fluffy and probably overweight, the nugs are huge and beautiful
Both have a dank floral smell, and smoke very well. God, that blue dream's fruitiness. And the smoke too...
This is definitely shit that can go for top shelf at dispensaries. At this price it's a fucking steal. On par with top vendors in every single way possible, which is saying something for a new vendor

10/10, very professional vendor w/ dank and cheap bud

from sr reviews

Update 10/26- didn't arrive :(  3 day in transit so far, hopefully tomorrow.  Not posting second time until it arrives. So excited based on the other feedback, must, not, PM , vendor.. lol

I just wanted to thank everyone who has written a review.  You guys are the best.  As you might have guessed, business has been through the roof.  I started shipping samples just 9 days ago.  Two days ago I pulled all my listings to give myself some breathing room to catch up with the orders.   Monday of this week, I had so many new orders that I couldn't get through them all in a day.  The next day they doubled and the next day they doubled again.  I got some friends to help out so if you are waiting for an order status to change to "in transit", the good news is that we should be able to get them all out the door this evening.  And I will be able to get some sleep.  I just want to apologize to anyone who is disappointed by my shipping speed. this week.  I had promised in my profile that we would make every effort to get orders out the same or next business day. Well, we made every effort.  But we didn't quite meet that target.  I think we came in under the SR time deadline for every order, but since I had promised fast shipping, I wanted to at least explain what happened.

Now, as far as you review writers, <3.  (I learned that "<3" thing from one of you.   I was like, wtf does <3 mean?)   If you are one of those people who took time out of their day to write one of the amazingly thoughtful reviews, you are THE BEST!!  The only thing is, when all you say is nice things in your review, don't you think it might look like I paid you to write them? <LOL>

If you are one of the people who sent me messages after I pulled my listings, after I get the last of the backlog of orders out the door I will evaluate my inventory.  I should be able to accommodate most of you.  I will contact you and let you know.

I still intend to sell only product that I grow myself on SR.  When it's gone, it's gone until my next harvest.  I had thought my inventory would hold out much longer than it did.  I guess free samples and intro sales prices did what they were supposed to do.  Don't forget about me while I'm taking a vacation taking care of the next crop of ladies.  I will have Blue Dream again next crop as well as a few other strains.

Durban Poison
White Fire
RezDog's Sour Diesel bx
Subcool's Jilly Bean

I should have listings back on SR in six weeks or so.  As it gets closer, I'll post updates on how things are going and give you a better estimate on when the listings  will show up.

I've really enjoyed getting to know some of you.  I try to respond to every message on  the SR site.  Sometimes it takes a little while for me to get back to you, but I'm doing my best.  I'm here on the forums a little less often.   Thanks again to everyone for their support.   Amazing community here on SR.  I have  had a great couple of weeks....  worn out, but loving it.

sometimes it is true that the reviews are fake

but once quite a few people on older accounts(accs not created only to post a certain review), or well-known reviewers post similar ones, it's obvious its not fake reviews, its an awesome vendor !

getting my coin ready for the next batch, wouldnt be surprised if you sold out very quickly

Got my package! Wooty woot! 1/8th of BD and 1/8th of Jack the Ripper.

Shipping- 5/5:  Ordered on Sunday and took two days to put in transit; however the vendor replied quickly to communication, that he was just running behind due to greater than expected demand.  Thought about putting 4/5, but the vendor did respond to PM right away.  Also priority was slow as hell but it seems to be that way these days for coast to coast, again not the vendors fault.  I thought about sending the vendor a PM but decided to be patient and he actually sent me one saying he would track it if not there by Monday.

Communication-5/5: - see notes above.  Also think the profile is clear.

Packaging-5/5- Have ordered from 20+ vendors here and this is by far the best, and I have seen some great ones! This package I wouldn't worry about a roommate, family member, anyone grabbing out of the mailbox.  Stealth with Quadruple seal and some extra stealth I haven't seen yet (won't mention more specifics :) )

Appearance and smell- 5/5  - The BD is mostly white, both look Amsterdam quality.  Thats my reference since I haven't had as much of the CA med buds.  The JR is less dense and crystally looking, but still very nice :)

Smoke quality - 5/5 - both are superb and everything I had hoped for.  Nice clean smoke that burns to white ash.

All in all a great experience, took a bit longer than I had originally hoped,  but considering they are new vendor and the packaging and quality look of the bud , they are definitely top bud vendor so far for me!!  The vendor has no active listings right now, probably getting caught up still, ensuring all the first round of orders make it.

Definitely will repeat order someday.  Thanks again JB!

I received some of JB's Blue Dream and Jack the Ripper today.  I have yet to sample either strain, but I'd just like to write a review of his shipping and customer service, as I am sure there are no doubts about this weed's quality; it's fucking beautiful!  The packaging was genius, and totally smell-proof till the very last layer.  Buds are beautiful and only lightly compressed.  They smell like fucking heaven.  Each bag was at least a half gram over, and one of them was .75 over!  This is easily one of the friendliest, steathliest (not a word but whatever), and generous weed vendors on the road...maybe ever!  And at a killer fucking price.  I am eagerly anticipating your next harvest, JB.  You have my business for as long as you stay around.  :D

Now I'm off to get blazed as fuck.

Registered just to post in this thread.  This is simply some of the nice weed I have ever seen.  The Blue Dream looks *exactly* like the picture, big buds, covered in trichromes, perfectly cured.  I don't have a scale but the largest bud was probably 4-5 grams and the bag seems *well* overweight. Awesome dreamy, long lasting  cerebral high.  Incredibly stealthy packaging, made me chuckle.  6.4 BTC intro price for what appears to be maybe 10+ grams is one of the best deals I've ever gotten on anything lol.  Don't hesitate with this seller.

I'm extremely satisfied with this vendor.
Not only was the product incredibly well-packaged, but the buds were so beautiful. Not a single compressed bud in the bunch. And the smell..dear jesus.. I wish I could stick them up my nose and smell them all day. I've ordered the Blue dream strain from other vendors before, but these buds were so perfect. Thanks, JackBlue.

I woke up today realizing something wasn't right in my little corner of the cosmos. I never did write a proper review. My apologies to Jackblue. Here it is.

Shipping: Packaging stellar. Speed excellent.

The Material: OH MY GOD. I've literally had dreams about smoking this kind of Ganja. I've EATEN PUSSY for weed that wasn't hardly even playing the same sport as this Ganja. Two hits from my 2-foot-sherlock had me looking out the window for cops, and then GIGGLING WITH THE FIERCENESS when I realized they weren't coming. Three grams of this material got 20 people BLASTED.

That night, I danced with some REAL LIVE LSD. Holy fuck at the combination of the BEST WEED I'VE EVER SEEN and BEST/ONLY LSD I'VE EVER SEEN. I get chills just thinking about how good I felt.

Every time I opened the jar to smell of it, it was almost as if the buds chanted at me.

Jackblue between you and JOR, the two of you conspired to make me have the best night of my life. Y'all succeeded.

I send you my regards and positive vibrations.

I don't leave many reviews but JackBlue has earned my review by his impeccable service. I am a hash/bud connoisseur, I only smoke the best and I can tell the difference between everything I have ever smoked. JackBlue is among the best. The shipping was very safe and stealth, no worries at all. Fast shipping, to me the product is the only other thing that really matters. I'd rather get screwed than disappointing and it is easy to disappoint me. The bud arrived looking somewhat wet (more like not cured) but was overweight so it did not matter. I started to cure it and my god its like watching a flower bloom. As an experienced ex-grower I am very picky.

JackBlue has grown some very VERY fine herb. In fact, the best Sativas I have received on the road and in real life. Fluffy, but not too fluffy foxtailed sativa buds. Sativas don't give off the funk like an Indica, more of a haze smell with a little sweet metallic smell and taste. Something Jack aslo does well is how clean the buds are, I LOVE my buds to smoke clean I can't stand black shit that doesn't burn or black.gray ash from a joint/blunts. Sativas aren't as 'crystally' as indicas either but Jacks are very very frosty. They are looking more frosty the longer it cures as well, potency has become an EASY one hitter quitter Sative, easy with some cure.

I am very impressed by these nugs, huge nugs, no scraps. Fantastic job Jack, and that is saying a lot I am very picky about the bud I smoke. AAAA top shelf sativa, amazing high that connoisseurs' chase. I find myself smoking the blue dream constantly, high ceiling high (can always get higher), straight to the head, grinning with warm ears high. Too much and it will start feeling like an indica but you'll have to smoke a lot to get tired. The nugs look unreal, frosty thick orange hairs ENCRUSTED with crystals. Extreme looking buds that could easily sell in a dispensery.

The quality of the high is what the product is all about in my mind and the high I got from this sativa is easily one of my favorite highs I have had in an every day 15 year smoking history . Well done, major kudos.

Quite late to the review party but JackBlue's product was worth remembering.

Got in on his free sample pack. 1.5 g of both Blue Dream & Jack the Ripper. We have received several samples from vendors but never at this quantity..

JackBlue responded to our message about shipping within hours and the order was marked in transit the day after we ordered.

Received priority package in Midwest 3 days after marked in transit. This was the best stealth packaging we had seen from SR. Absolutely no smell until we pierced through all the layers. I would guarantee that if the wrong hands had opened the package, they would have needed to peel through several layers before they even knew what they were looking at.

BD & JR both absolutely REEKED and were both excellently trimmed and loaded with trichomes, with the BD slightly more so.

We had a night planned to 'try and fly' and we were sent sky-high after a few vape hits.It was some of the most potent weed we encountered on SR.

The weed was an absolute steal for the price and we knew we would need to order again soon as the positive reviews flowed in for JackBlue's products. Since we hadn't previously encountered JR from the Silk Road we purchased 3.5 g.

The JR was marked in transit the next day and received after 3 days again. Same quality packaging and product and was overweight by 0.5 grams.

JackBlue is one of our favorite vendors and at least this reviewer is salivating at the thought of vaping some of the strains JackBlue listed that they're readying!

I thought it was pretty cool to get a message about upcoming crops, I usually have to search through my list of vendors to find their new listings. I'm going with the Durban Poison, been on my list of sativas to try for a while now.

Edit:
I just read through all 4 pages and didn't realize business was that good for JackBlue, glad to hear. I never thought about how hard it would be to package up 100 orders for delivery, makes me appreciate just how hard these vendors work for us.

Had a little mix up with my order and got the wrong strain, but JackBlue was on top of it immediately. I didn't even ask him for anything, I was just gonna call it good because the Jillybean is excellent quality and I feel I got what I paid for. He offered to send me the durban poison I originally ordered free of charge, couldn't ask for better customer service than that. This is one of the reasons I love SR, lots of good people on here treating strangers like family.

Just ordered a quarter ounce of blue dream. I have tried tweets blue dream but he charges about 140 after fees are all said and done. Jack only charges about 86 after fees are all said and done for the same strain. Can Jack's blue dream really be as good for 54 dollars less on a quarter! Plus he throws extra in for using PGP. I hope it's as good as you people say cause tweets was pretty amazing. I will give full honest review when it comes. Your prices are amazing Jack i rly rly hope the quality is as good as the price.

Hey everyone,

Sorry I haven't been more active in the forum.   Just seems that there aren't enough hours in a day.  First of all, I want to thank all of you who are my customers.  I really appreciate all the nice feedback I've been getting.  It really makes a big difference knowing people appreciate my hard work.  Gives me the motivation to work even harder at bringing you the best bud I know how to grow.  And for anyone reading this who isn't a customer, I hope you'll try me out sometime.  I do my best to deliver a great product at a fair price.

It was a little crazy the past few weeks.   Harvesting one crop and getting it ready to sell and getting the new crop underway, and then dealing with the holidays on top of it all made me a little nuts.  Things are settling down now though and I have a little more time to reply to any questions or if you just want to chat that's OK too.  So far I've managed to answer all my messages on SR within about a day or so.  If there's anything you think I can do better, I'd like to hear it.  If you just want to tell me that I'm doing great, those messages are always welcome!

NEWS AND INFO

I'm thinking of offering some BHO, shatter or other concentrates.  I would like to know the interest level before I enter that market.  Is there a type of concentrate you like?  Anything you can tell me will help me get the best product to you.  Shatter vs. wax vs. winterized BHO.  Opinions?  Since this thread is meant for product reviews, it's probably best if you reply with a private message to me in the forum section or a message on SR.  I'll check both places.

STEALTH

Hopefully I managed to include all my customers in my mailling about stealth listings.  When this crop first became available, I wanted to give some priority to my existing customers while also keeping the order flow manageable while I was busy with harvesting and getting the new crop underway.  I have now gone back to public listings but in the future I expect that there are times that I will be offering products in stealth only listings.  This will be either be when putting up listings again after being sold out, or when I have some limited availability special products that would sell out too quickly on the main site.  If you are a customer who didn't receive that message about stealth listings, I apologize.  If you want to be added to that message list, sent me a message on the SR site with the word STEALTH in the subject line.  Even if you have not previously bought anything from me, I can add you to that mailing list.  Just send me a message and I'll add you to the list.  When you get tired of my spam, send me another message with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject and I'll never waste your time or inbox space with another message about stealth listings.

INVENTORY UPDATE

I am sold out of Durban Poison and Jilly Bean now.  I was trying out these strains for the first time so I did a relatively small crop of each.   My inventory of Blue Dream is still good, so I should have that available for a while.  I'm hoping that I have enough Blue Dream to last until my next harvest in about 9 weeks, but that's just being optimistic I think.  If I start running low I'll post a notice here in the forum to let people know.

NEXT CROP

It's still pretty far out from now, but I figured you might be interested in what I've got coming up in the next cycle.  I usually start slow with a strain that I haven't grown before, but based on experience with smoking and what I've heard from other growers, I decided to take a chance with Girl Scout Cookies.  Over 50% of my next crop is a combination of two phenotypes of Girl Scout Cookies:  Thin Mint and Platinum.  This is the real deal.  Here's a link to a photo --- this is not bud that I grew but this GSC came from the same source that I got my clones from.  Looks spectacular.  Hope mine comes out even close to this good.   http://wuakd3inzzy5iz4w.onion/images/ffef63960e5d55127ab69cf7497b7352.jpg

I'll also have Fire OG, Chernobyl, and Blue Dream.  The GSC looks pretty amazing already.  Really dark green wide leaves and deep purple-red stems (getting to be trunks, not stems).  I'm looking forward to seeing how it comes out.  I may post photos of the actual progress of the grow as things move further along.  By the way, that photo link above is a Tor onion hidden service for photo sharing, so your privacy is still secure while checking out photos that I post.

All the best and THANKS

JackBlue

XXX TOTALLLY NUDE XXXXX HOT GIRLS XXXX BUD PORN XXX BUD PORN XXX BUD PORN XXXXXX

Got ya going didn't I, you bunch of pervs.   Got some sneak peak previews of the girls coming in my next crop.  They are still underage so keep your hands off the merchandise if you know what's good for you.  They are just finishing the fifth week of a ten week flowering cycle.  Links to the steamy pics are below.  The pics are on a Tor image hosting site. Tor file hosting sites can flaky and unreliable at times, so if a link doesn't work you might try again in a little while.  But if a link seems to be seriously broken, please PM me so I can re-upload them if necessary.   I'll be posting more pics in the coming weeks as they grow to maturity.

It's a little challenging taking good pics under HPS lights; the raw pics have an strong yellow cast that isn't the most flattering lighting for people or plants.  I did my best to color correct the pics in post-production with mixed success.

Girl Scout Cookies:  They are a little slower in early flowering than the other strains; I'm hoping that they come on strong in the second half of the flowering cycle.  At this stage the buds haven't filled in along the branches but you can get a feeling for the structure and great color of the buds.  The buds have a high calyx to leaf ratio (should make them really easy to manicure) and are already sticky as hell.  Hopefully the buds will fill in nicely over the next few weeks to give a good yield.  My first grow with GSC, so I'm not sure what to expect.

http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/qicpic/x.php?x=wpj.jpg

Fire OG Kush:  I was surprised at how quickly these buds have developed.  Very sticky, great structure and filling in really well.   If they keep fattening up like this over the rest of the cycle I'm going to have my work cut out form me tying them up so the branches don't break under the weight of the buds.

http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/qicpic/x.php?x=wrn.jpg

Chernobyl:  Chernobyl is a variant of Trainwreck by breeder TGA Subcool.   It has the same intoxicating smell, and long, airy runs of buds.  Incredible resin production at this early stage of flowing.  The buds stick to your hand if you brush up against them.  I don't expect a huge yield from this strain, but it should be some really fine bud.

http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/qicpic/x.php?x=wp9.jpg

Stay tuned.   More bud porn to come in the following weeks.  Expect listings by the second week of April.

Lucius, you think GSC was looking frosty last week?  You ain't seen nothing.  I have three new photos for you.  Stop drooling!  Have some manners.  ha ha.

Here's a Fire OG Kush pic.  This was taken six days after the first one posted.  Continuing to develop and fill in nicely and showing some orange hairs.

Now about those Girl Scout Cookies...  Sometimes from one week to the next the change is so dramatic that it hardly looks like the same plant.  Here are two new pics of Girl Scout Cookies taken only six days after the last one posted.  These girls are looking kind of sticky, wouldn't you say?  These girls have been maturing nicely.   Hardly recogonizable...

Aw shucks you guys are making me blush.   And yes, Phreeze, there are two phenotypes of GSC, Platinum and Thin Mint.  I'm going to have a lot more Thin Mint than Platinum, so there might have to be quantity rationing on the Platinum so there's enough to go around for everyone who wants some to get some.  The platinum doesn't grow as tall as the other strains I have in this crop, so they kindof got shaded and didn't get to their full potential.  The Platinum is the phenotype that is more indica-like and indicas are typically much shorter and slower growing than sativas.  Since I'm always growing sativas, it makes it hard to grow indicas.  Even when I try to make a whole section for indicas, the Sativas in the next row just seem to invade and spread out into the indica section.  When they are growing super fast in the first few weeks with CO2, it's almost impossible to control  I grow sea of green so there's no room between plants to get in there and sort things out.  Survival of the fittest.

The last two weeks I've been supplementing the nutrients with Shooting Powder, which has set the plants on a whole new cycle of budding.  The tops have all almost doubled in length so the yield is looking pretty good at this point.  But I can never really tell until it's hung up and dried.  But I'm pretty optimistic.

If you want I can add you to my mailing list.  I'll be sending out a message to everyone on the list a couple of days before listings go up.  Anyone who wants  to be added to my mailing list should send a message to me on SR message system.  Also, I wanted to mention that I'm probably going to sell this entire crop in STEALTH mode.  Right now I'm not in stealth mode so you should be able to get to my vendor page and "become a fan" or bookmark my page.  Once I'm in stealth mode you won't be able to get to my listings if you're not a fan, or if you haven't saved my page address.  For anyone reading this post after I've gone into stealth mode, here's the link to my vendor page where the listings will be visible.
http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/user/15f394e321

I'm doing this crop in stealth mode just to keep the order volume and pace to a level where I can maintain my sanity.  Hopefully I won't sell out as quickly this way either.   It's looking good for around April 14 for the this crop to start showing up in listings, perhaps a little sooner depending on the weather for drying here.  So far the weather is cooperating.

Sorry guys, just checked the thread and noticed a bunch of questions.   Ezeek, a friend and loyal customer from when I was starting out here, started this review thread for me with his first post.  Do any of you Forum Gods reading this (you have 100's of posts, you iknow who you are) know how to make it so I get a message when someone replies in this thread?  That way I'll know when I need to answer someone's question or hurt someone who said something mean, whatever the situation calls for.  I'm thinking that because Ezeek made the first post in the thread, there might be no way to set that up.  Anyone?

Tell you what... first person to get this fixed for me gets a free sample of the new crop -- strain of your choice.  If there is a solution, I bet it'll be fixed toot sweet!   Should have thought of that before ;)

Been sorta busy,  ok make that incredibly busy, in the grow rooms finishing up harvesting this crop and taking cuttings and getting them rooted for the next growing cycle.   See the following post for info on quantities and pricing for this crop -- more than you ever needed or wanted to know I'm guessing.  The post after that will cover any other questions I've gotten over the last couple of weeks.

You can click "Profile" at the top of the page, on that page go to "Modify Profile" and scroll down to "Notifications". On the Notifications page check the box "Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic." and alternatively the one below that as well if you want it to email you. For this, you must put your email into your account settings page.

Then, look at the two drop down menus directly below  the boxes you checked and select the options which are most appropriate for what you want.

I hope that helps / works. I don't personally use it but I know that should be hows its done.

Or, you can do what was said above and visit the forums every now and then and just click "show new replies to your posts" at the top below your name.

As long as you select the appropriate option in the drop down menu to get alerts even if you aren't the owner of the thread, it should. You have to make sure to click the "notify" button though on the thread after you've done that.

Yes, it still works. You only have to have posted in the thread. It doesn't matter who started it. You actually don't need to click notify either.  ;)

Basically all you have to do is click "Show new replies to your posts" when you log in to the forums. If there's been a new reply to your thread, it will be listed there with the orange "new" icon next to it. If there hasn't been any new replies it won't be listed. Easiest way to do it, in my opinion.

I hope that helps / works. I don't personally use it but I know that should be hows its done.

Or, you can do what was said above and visit the forums every now and then and just click "show new replies to your posts" at the top below your name.
Thanks for the help on the forum tech support.   Someone beat you as far as responding first, but I'll give you the Congeniality award.  But don't be too upset, the Congeniality award has the same prize as first place, a sample of my upcoming crop, your choice of strain.  I'll be sending out a link to a private listing for you next week when the crop is cured and ready to ship next week.   If you haven't received it by the middle of next week, remind me.  Things are a little crazy busy around here right now getting the crop ready and I might forget.  Thanks again.

Hey Jack!

That's awesome. I've been wanting to try you out anyways and I think this will be the perfect opportunity for both of us! Thanks for the generosity, I'm looking forward to this!

Finally I can give jack good karma on here! haha

Jack is not only an expert grower, a honest guy, fair, and generous...but he is one of us. one of "the guys"

In all honesty, Jack is the only vendor i fully trust. And I feel he trust me as well. That is who you stick with. And when you trade with him you can know with confidence you will be receiving only the best, grown with love and service that can't be beat.
Yeah. I just crossed the 100 post hurdle as well, and now have to awesome power of karma.  If anyone notices a recent increase in their +karma, it might be because I +karma'd everyone in this thread who had anything at all nice to say about me.  Is that self serving karma use and somehow corrupt?  Will I be be punished by the 250+ post karma gods?  Stay tuned, I'll let you know what happens.  Meanwhile, I knew about karma power at the 100 post level, but the much bigger benefit in my opinion is NO MORE CAPTCHAS!  So those of you lingering in the sub 100 post region, that's a huge incentive to keep posting reviews.  Not only will I be rewarding favorable reviews with + karma, but you'll be that much closer to no captchas.

Shit, I missed out on helping you out JackBlue.  I guess I need to get on the forums more often.  Your Cannabis is looking good, as always, I got to try them all.  Can't wait.  :)  Btw, are you growing any Jilly Bean this time around?

Looking forward to the listings JB. I have tried his Blue Dream before and it was def the best Blue Dream ive had off SR. If that helps your decision out Dot.

Hey thanks for that. Normally I would be all about the BD but I'm pretty much blue dreamed out at the moment. I'm leaning towards the platinum GSC. I'm interested in hearing Jack's opinion of which strain turns out the best, though.

No Jilly Bean this time around.  When I do trials of new strains, I informally survey purchasers to see if it deserves another run.  A lot of people liked the Jilly Bean, but overall they preferred Jack the Ripper and Blue Dream that are my mainstays these days.   From my perspective, not necessarily the buyers' perspective, yield comes into play as well. Since Jilly Bean didn't produce all that well in the grams/watt measurement that I have to use from a business perspective, it would have had to have rave reviews to be brought back on a regular basis.  Sorry, with electricity prices here in California as high as they are, the productivity of a strain has to enter into the equation.  This time around, for example, the Girl Scout Cookies would need pretty high ratings from customers to become even semi-permanent.  If people like it enough, I will bring it back.  Higher prices of some strains is the reality of the cost to produce the weed in an indoor grow situation.   Some GSC sellers seem to let "hype" about the strain come into their pricing.  I'm not doing that, but just reflecting the reality of how much more it costs me to grow it.

BTW, probably a week ago now I promised to post pricing information for the new crop in this thread.  Still working on it and I should have it up in the next day or so.

You know best JB. :)  I personally like Jilly Bean, but then again I have liked every strain that I have received from you.  I'm sure that with your horticulture skills every variety you produce will be amazing as always.  Looking forward to your return.

NEWS FLASH!!!

It's almost here.  The JackBlue Spring 2013 crop will be available next week, the week of April 8, in plenty of time for your 4/20 plans.  This crop will only be available as stealth listings.  For all the information on this crop, including how to view and order from stealth listings, the strains we have in this crop, and pricing, keep reading. I think I've covered most everything (that I can think of) in this post. If you have questions you will probably find the answers either in this post or on my vendor profile (http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/user/15f394e321).  This is my busiest time, getting ready to ship and getting the next crop started, so I may not be as quick to respond to personal messages as usual.  Please bear with me and accept my apology if it takes me a while to respond personally to your questions over the next couple of weeks. I would also ask that everyone please be patient and go with the flow until we're a couple of weeks into filling the rush of orders before asking for custom listings of any kind.  When things aren't quite as hectic, feel free to send me a personal message with questions, comments, or just about anything. I've gotten to know a few of you pretty well, and one of the reasons I keep coming back to SR is because of the amazing community we've got here.  Existing and new customers are welcome.  We've been working hard over the past few months, and we think you'll be really impressed with what we've got for you in this crop.  Read on for full details.

STEALTH MODE
I plan to sell this entire crop through stealth mode listings. Hopefully, going stealth will make supplies last longer -- I feel like I'm letting you down when I run out of supply with 6 or more weeks to go before the next harvest is due.  If you're familiar with how stealth mode works, you can skip to the next section. I'm not using stealth mode to be exclusive (this ain't a velvet rope or VIP lounge situation).  All the info you need to get to this listings is in this post.  Existing and new customers are welcome.

If you are already a JackBlue fan, you should already be set up to get to my listings when I switch over to stealth mode next week.  As a fan, a link to my vendor page will always be available on the main screen where you log into SR.  Click on the link and you'll be taken to my vendor page where you can view and order from the listings.  You add items to your cart and make purchases that same as you would for ordinary listings.

If you're not a fan , you'll need the url for my vendor page to get to the stealth listings:

 http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/user/15f394e321

If you're not a fan and want to become one, there's a link at the top of my vendor page to "become a fan".   I'm in public mode now, but I'll be dropping into stealth mode next week sometime, shortly before I start putting up the listings.  Once I'm in stealth mode, you won't be able to find my listings in the main product pages on SR, and you won't be able to find my vendor page or my listings by using the search box.  So bookmark and save the link to my vendor page.

If you've followed these instructions and you still aren't able to access my stealth listings or vendor page, you can go ahead and PM me through the forum message system, and I'll walk you through how to get to the listings.

MAILING LIST
If you're on my mailing list, I'll be sending out a message a couple of days before listings go up letting everyone know.  If you were on the mailing list from the last time around, you will still be on it.  If you aren't sure, or you're not yet on my mailing list and want to be, send me a message on the SR messaging system (NOT this forum message system) and write "mailing list" in the subject line.  You don't have to put anything else in the message.

JACKBLUE SPRING 2013
Stealth listings for the latest crop will start going up during the week of April 8.  All strains should be shipping in plenty of time for your 4/20 plans.  If you're on the mailing list, you'll get 2 days advanced notice of the listings going up.  That way you can make sure you have the bitcoins you need to place your order.  For the first couple of weeks after we start shipping, I expect to be filling a lot of orders.  To keep the pace of orders to a manageable level, I'm going to limit the quantity of each item , with additional units added every day.  What that means to you is that probably for the first few days of shipping I will sell out every day at some point.  So if it looks like I'm sold out, just check back the next day. It's my policy to ship orders by the next business day at the latest.  Managing inventory in the listings is the best way I've figured out to make sure I can deliver on my shipping promise.  I appreciate your patience during the initial rush of orders.  When any strain is completely sold out, I will post that information at the top of my vendor page.

Following are the strains and pricing for this crop.  I'm sorry, but we won't be selling grams or 1/8 oz sizes.

Girl Scout Cookies (Thin Mint)
(High resolution pic: http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/qicpic/x.php?x=b3y.jpg)

Yes this is the real deal genuine Girl Scout Cookies.  Watch out for fakes.  And yes, the hype about this strain is well deserved.  Gorgeous buds with brilliant lime green, orange and touches of purple.  The thick coating of trichomes makes it looks like it was dipped in sugar.  Super potent and tasty.  Has the intense early head high of a sativa, settling into more of an indica body high after a while.   Probably not the strain to smoke if you're trying to get a lot accomplished.  But heck, whatever you have to do can wait until tomorrow.

       1/4 oz.  $100
       1/2 oz.  $180
       Zip        $340

Fire OG
(High resolution pic: http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/qicpic/x.php?x=n26.JPG)

Extremely potent medicine with an intense indica body high.  Considered by many to be the most potent of the OG Kush strains, Fire OG is a cross of San Fernando Valley OG and Tahoe OG and was tested at 23% THC. Great tasting, beautiful buds.  This is a connoisseur's OG variety.

       1/4 oz.  $95
       1/2 oz.  $170
       Zip        $320

Chernobyl
(High resolution pic:  http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/qicpic/x.php?x=b3m.jpg)

This strain is a very potent sativa dominant hybrid developed by TGA Genetics.  A cross of Trainwreck, Trinity and Jack the Ripper, it has long runs of small buds along the branches.  Each bud is packed with trichomes, and it's got unusual potency for a sativa.  It has a sweet, citrusy taste and smell recognizable from Trainwreck.   This strain is available in very limited quantities so it will only be available in 1/4 oz and 1/2 oz listings to give as many people as possible the opportunity to try it.

       1/4 oz.    $95
       1/2 oz.    $170

Blue Dream
(High resolution pic: http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/qicpic/x.php?x=b3c.jpg)

This has been our best selling strain since we started here on SR.  What's not to like? Blue Dream is a sativa
dominant hybrid with beautiful big buds, a great fruity fragrance and taste and unusual potency for a sativa.  A clone-only strain, Blue Dream is a cross of Blueberry with classic California haze. THC was lab tested at 17%, and Blue Dream delivers the characteristic uplifting high of a sativa. Customers have told us again and again that we have the best Blue Dream on SR. We won't argue with that.

       1/4 oz.   $90
       1/2 oz.   $160
       Zip         $300

All orders ship via Priority Mail with tracking. If you check out with multiple items in your cart, we'll refund all
but one shipping charge when the order is shipped (for orders totalling up to two ounces total -- the maximum amount we ship in one package).

Happy Spring and 4/20!

the platinum GSC were short little plants that didn't get enough light.  maybe got 1/4 lb total out of six plants.  waste of time.  but the tiny buds are sticky and should make great honey oil.

Do you also plan to list your concentrates?

The concentrates will be listed as they become available.  They are usually in very limited supply since I only produce them from the smaller buds and sugar leaf trim of the buds.  In the case of strains like Girl Scout Cookies, with a high calyx to leaf ratio, the bud trim is minimal so we expect to get very small quantities of winterized oil and shatter.  If you want to purchase concentrates, I suggest you make a point of checking the listings daily over the next several weeks to have a better chance of catching the listings when they show up.

The bitcoin fiasco of the last couple of days has most definitely slowed down the pace of orders.  If you are waiting on things to settle down before trying to exchange $ for bitcoins, that's entirely understandable.  Hopefully, not too many of you exchanged $ on Wednesday.  I was holding a bunch of bitcoins on Wednesday, but since I'd been holding them for a while, it didn't hurt as much as if I'd paid $250 each for them.  I'm in no danger of selling out any strain over the next few days.  I don't expect business to pick back up until things in the bitcoin market get a little more stable.  If you like gambling and can afford to lose some coin, this might be a buying opportunity.  Or it could be a pause before another big drop.  If you can't afford to lose any of your hard earned money and don't like to gamble, I'd advise waiting a couple of days at least to see how the bitcoin market settles down.

Cheer,
JackBlue

I've been doing a lot of business over the last few days.  Thanks everyone.  Just a reminder, when you get your order consider adding a review to this thread.  And vote for JackBlue in the medical cannabis vendor poll that's currently running through April 23.  Here's the link to the poll.

http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=144211.0

When I checked the results earlier today I was tied for first place, which is kind of amazing considering that I'm out of stock between crops most of the time.  Thanks to any of you who already voted for me.  Kind of shameless of me to be begging for votes, dontcha think?

[Review]
This is a review of Jack's free samples.  Firstly let me state that Jack is one of the friendliest vendors on the road.  He's really a great guy to deal with.  His aeroponic bud is unique and not only did I receive a free sample, I RECEIVED 3!  Dude totally hooked me up with over an eighth of free weed.  Wow!

[Shipping]
Incredibly fast shipping.  Less than 48 hours.  Wasn't expecting this for at least another day or 2!

[Stealth]
I don't exaggerate when I say Jack's got perfect stealth packaging.  It's flawless both in and out.

[Product]
1. Chernobyl
Look: This big 1.7 gram bud is a mass of large frosty calyxes.  Literally smothered in trichomes.

Although there's not much of a smell and they're not sticky buds they do provide a nice subtle high that develops into a quality functional sativa buzz.  No drowsiness.  Good for daytime activities.  Definite creeper.
Overall 8/10

2. Girl Scout Cookies
Look: These cookies look tasty!  The buds are thick and crystally.  Once ground up, the bud is very sticky.  1.4 grams.

This strain is the standout in my opinion.  Looks, taste, smell, all around it's got it.  Definitely the best stuff I've got from JB.  Smoke is slightly harsh but an awesome high!
Overall 9/10

3. Blue Dream
Look: I would say this Blue Dream is better looking than the last batch from a few months ago.  The buds are a little harder and more structured.  The smell is ok.  Classic Blue Dream appearance and good bag appeal (buds look like more than they weigh).

Initial hit yields a potent high,  I can feel it behind the eyes immediately.  This is certainly more powerful and potent than the last batch of blue dream.  Grinds nice and smokes smoothly.  Long lasting spacey buzz.  Really nice stuff!
Overall 8.5/10

Jack's weed had me high for hours and when it came time to get shit done I was unexpectedly fueled with energy! Obviously I recommend!

edit: Smoked only Chernobyl early today and it kicked my ass.  Better than I had realized.

I got my pack from Jack today. I was lucky enough to win a sample from Jack earlier and he hooked me up even further by letting me order a custom listing for a little less than 1/8th of his 4 strains + some Platinum GSC. He really went out of his way to make this order come true for me and regardless of bud quality the professional service that Jack offers goes above and beyond the call of duty and would make me a repeat customer based upon that alone, so thanks for that.

Now, on to the review. The stealth and shipping was fantastic. I think he sent it out on Saturday and I had it by Monday morning. The buds are beautifully packed in the box, leaving plenty of space so there is no compression. All the basics are 100% good to go with Jack.

So lets go to the strains. I want to give each strain its fair share of spotlight, so I'm not going to review them all at once. Over the next few days I'll be switching up the strain and I'll post a few reviews here, or maybe just edit this post with the updates. I will post the bud porn today though :)

Since its the strain I originally planned to order before Jack hooked me up with the custom listing, I'll be reviewing the Thin Mint GSC tonight.

HQ Pic, Clearnet
http://i.imgur.com/d3DR9Za.jpg

As you can see, this is some gorgeous lime green bud with vibrant orange hairs and specks of purple scattered throughout, definitely true to its lineage. Its also covered in crystals. I'm extremely impressed with the quality of this bud. When ground up it is perfectly fluffy and burns crisp white. The one thing you may notice is that the GSC, like the other strains, don't give off a skunky smell that people usually associate with "dank" weed. Instead, these strains have a very earthy tone and the true aroma is expressed when ground up. The GSC when ground was nice and sweet, almost sugary. Truly a delightful strain to smoke as well, giving me a very cerebral high. I would easily rate this GSC as the best I've ever had on the road. Jack did not disappoint.

I'm really anxious to smoke these other strains, but I'm going to give them the respect they deserve and judge each one individually. In the meantime, here is some more bud porn of his other strains.

Hey Jack,

Sorry I've been MIA. I had some emergencies which came up in my personal and business life recently which have really limited the amount of time I've had on the Road. I've missed being here and I'm hoping things are going to get somewhat back to normal.

I've really been enjoying those strains I got from you. I'm glad to see you did really well in the poll and also that your business has taken off! Definitely glad I got to be a part of it and I'm looking forward to the next crop just like everyone else. I'm still working on those reviews. I made some updates to the GSC review so it was in the 4/20 contest format and also posted you over in the 4/20 competition thread. I wrote a review for your Fire OG there also which I'll quote below this. I plan to finish up the other reviews as well still, but I'll probably do them all in that format you see below :)

Also, any word on those concentrates? :p

Vendor: JackBlue

Vendor Profile: http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/user/15f394e321

Strain: Fire OG

Picture: http://i.imgur.com/LgRnwfG.jpg

Color/Appearance/Bag Appeal (9/10)
The buds kind of look like flames which is funny to me since its called Fire OG. It has all these small little "budlets" which make up the full bud and they form a wave-y flame like pattern. Pretty neat.

Trichome Coverage (8.5/10)
Some sparkly bud which gets even better when you look inside.

Trim Job (9.5/10)
No complaints whatsoever. Small nuggets with tiny stems and 0 excess plant material.

Flush (9/10)
Milky white hits that really filled up my lungs. Not harsh at all but definitely a kicker. Very heavy smoke which sat in my lungs, getting me fucking high, man.

Cure (9.5/10)
Once again just a great overall cure. Fluffy buds which grind up into silky smoothness. Great work.

Smell (8/10)
Like the other strains I got from Jack, they just don't have much smell from the outside. When you grind them up they really express their scent though. Wonderful scent to this one almost like pepper.

Taste (9/10)
Almost like big red gum, I really liked the joint I rolled of this. Very flavorful, almost spicy.

Buzz (9/10)
Straight up knocked me out. I fell asleep after that J and didn't wake up til the next day, getting almost 14 hours of sleep. Its a really good indica and since then I've only smoked small bowls of this when I want to be a lazy bum.

Here's the updated GSC Thin Mint Review by the way

Vendor: JackBlue

Vendor Profile: http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/user/15f394e321

Strain: Girl Scout Cookies, Thin Mint Cut

Picture: http://i.imgur.com/d3DR9Za.jpg

Color/Appearance/Bag Appeal (9.5/10)
Jesus Christ. It has hard to encounter bud that looks like this. Look at that pic... just look at it. Unbelievably beautiful. Nice little nuggets of bliss. All different colors, light/lime green, purple, silver, chrome, just all around fucking gorgeous.

Trichome Coverage (9/10)
Its dipped in trichromes. Actually it looks like it legitimately has chrome covering on it in certain parts. If you want trichs you got em.

Trim Job (9.5/10)
No complaints whatsoever. Perfect little nuggets with no excess plant material.

Flush (9.5/10)
Some of the best smoke I've ever had. Burned crisp, milky white. The ash was almost non existent after the hit, having completely compacted into a tiny white pile which poured out of the bowl when tilted.

Cure (9.5/10)
Wonderful job here. Jack is truly a master grower. The bud is silky smooth and has a lot of give to it when compressed. It doesn't crumble or crack at all and it grinds into a fluffy and silky mix of goodness. Just touching it while packing a bowl makes you really appreciate the work that went into this bud.

Smell (7/10)
The one thing you may notice is that the GSC, like the other strains I got from Jack, don't give off a skunky/piney smell that people usually associate with "dank" weed. Instead, these strains have a very earthy tone and the true aroma is expressed when ground up. The GSC when ground was nice and sweet, almost sugary. The only reason I'm taking off points here is because it doesn't express that smell until ground up.

Taste (9/10)
Nice and sweet. Tasted kind of like it smelt. Wish I had more because I wanted to roll with it but it was just a good in a bowl none the less.

Buzz (9/10)
Very cerebral high. I felt happy and creative, did a pretty good freestyle  (for my standards) with some friends which I will give some credit to the GSC for.

Overall (9/10)
Extremely satisfied. Jack is truly is gift to the road and I can't wait til his next crop. If you get a chance do not miss out on JackBlue.

Hi JB,

I just wanted to let you know I received the package today two hours ago, and I have been incessantly attempting to log onto SR so that I can finalize the order, but as you know, it is down due to the malicious DDOS attack. So I just wanted to thank you and keep you updated, since I always trying to finalize ASAP and since you're the BEST cannabis vendor on SR (I can now say that with first hand experience). I haven't tried the bud yet, but it looks phenomenal, just like the smell, and was overweight by 1.1g on a quarter oz order (total wt = 8.10 gm of pure bud, no shake), which I also appreciate very much. So anyway, I will try to log onto SR later on tonight to finalize (permitting DDOS takes a pause), and again, thanks for everything; I will get a more detailed review up later on after a couple of nice vape sessions with my Silver Surfer, haha, best way to taste the goodness.

Infinite Love,
UANDiR1

JackBlue, I tried to log on to place an order for your 7g of blue dream, but as you know the site has been down.

I'll try to place it as soon as I can. I know you mentioned people claim that it's the best blue dream on the SR, but what would you say your personal best strain is?

To:  The best customers on SR

Yes you!

I've seen that a lot of vendors have posted saying that until the site comes back online they will stop processing orders.  I'm  not going to do that.  If you paid your bitcoins and I downloaded the information from your order before the site went down, I plan on shipping your order as usual on time regardless of when or if SR comes back online.  If you placed your order and paid your BTC into escrow. you did what you were supposed to do and you shouldn't be the one hit with a loss if the worst happens and the site is prevented from coming back up.  If you want to find out if I received your order before the site was attacked, and if it will be shipping today or tomorrow, send me a PM and I'll look it up for you.  If your order went in after the last time I downloaded the order book, I'm sorry but you'll have to wait, think positive thoughts, and send all your spare +karma energy to the tech team.  That's what I'm doing!

All the best.

Big thanks to JackBlue for that Fire OG.
Really potent.
Had me knocked out the other day.

After getting the free samples from Jack I decided to pickup more GSC.  Here is my review.

Strain: Girl Scout Cookies (Thin Mints)

Look: Beautiful tight buds that almost resemble little frosting-covered morsels.  The amazing thing is after more than a week in my jar there is still no shake and no kief (The buds stay together like little cookies)!

Smell: The cookies have a subtle potent smell that comes out especially when ground up.  But don't judge jack's weed by the smell because the normal olfactory rules just don't apply to his weed.  It's weird but true.

High: The high is really outstanding.  Instantaneous "knock-you-upside-the" head high that spreads to the body.  Potent stuff for sure.  My current favorite for winding down in the evening time.  Also works as a daytime smoke though.  GSC is a nice balanced hybrid and Jack does it right.

Not only did Jack ship my order while SR was down he hooked me UP! I ordered an oz split between the Girl scout, fire og, and blue dream. I recieved 10.5 of each (31.5g oz!) and on top of it all jack is ah all around good person you can chat with / shoot the shit / trust(my experience ofc). Stealth was masterfully done, I don't know what else i could ask from a vendor. I received my shipment yesterday and haven't been able to sit down and write a review but iv had a few rips here or there and let me tell ya these nugs look like someone rolled them in powdered sugar the trich coverage is a thing of beauty! They have a pleasurable smell but nothing out of the ordinary but when you roll one up or pack some glass you know jack put love / time into these plants. One of the best smokes iv had to date

Ordered a 1/4th of GSC thin mint pheno from Jackblue a bit after 4/20. Arrived with great stealth, yet was a little bummed in the fact that the nugs were popcorn sized. However, the quality was wonderful. Had the range of colors from tan-ish yellow to deep purple. The smoke was incapacitating while the high lasted hours. Great buy overall, would definitely buy again.

Chernobyl
All of Jackblue buds look good. I've seen buds with better density though.
Covered in trichs.
The smell is very slight. This one smells fruity. I think a good cure would pick up the smell, not sure.

ok we smoke for the buzz, this one is a heavy hitter. Even with me high  tolerance I could feel the effects for hours.
This strain is a must buy for my jar collection.

Girl Scout Cookies
Still don't get what the fuss is about. You must have a good imagination to relate this to cookies.
The smell was light skunky smell. I've had GSC popcorn from Solidrain. His weed had a powerful skunk smell.
The smell doesn't translate as to being a weaker buzz, as a matter of fact it was quite the opposite.
GSC is a mellow buzz, not as power as the strain above.

Blue Dream x Haze
Again good looking buds, but nobody has beaten CN nugs for good looks, except for the EMP I got fro m NW Nugs.
The smell again was light for the strain. Smelled like a blueberry haze cross.
The buzz was ok, but I'm growing tired of Blue Dream. My love seems to be fading, just like a year ago, when Kush was my favorite strain.

I really liked Chernobyl the best 8) There is nothing wrong was this vendor's smoke. No trim leaves, and the buds look very nice.
I can't believe I knock weed for the cure, a year ago I just smoked it. After much reading I just put the weed into a mason jar for two weeks. I open the jar once a day.
After two weeks I vacuum seal the jar. Seems to bring out the smell, and mellows the smoke. If you are not careful the color will change.

Time to step in.

I've had the pleasure of speaking with Jack on many different occasions, and the talk is always extremely pleasant and informative. Jack is a professional on every level, and if you have any doubt in his abilities, reading through this thread in addition to all of the various praise throughout his feedback on his profile should change that for you. You are all quite lucky actually, his babies sold out extremely fast this season.

In total, I received very generous portions of three of Jack's strains this go-around.

Girl Scout Cookies (Thin Mint) - This is the bud that you all got to try. Look at a picture of GSC online (leafly.com). That stuff doesn't even hold a candle to what Jack sent. Imagine buds so dense and covered in trichomes/resin that they completely stuck to the interior of the vac seal bag. I had about .2 grams worth of resin to scrape off of it. The color of this weed is so unique. Light green to darker shades of hunter, and then some distinct purple as well (GDP). The buds smelled amazing, just like the Girl Scout Cookies I had before, which uniwiz is right, there is a completely different smell about it. It's not necessarily "dank" by classification, but I get hints of spice and pepper, a bit of lemon, and an earthy undertone. With a lineage like GSC boasts, you'd expect a unique experience. This batch, however, was perfect. My grinder absolutely HATED this bud. It grinds up very nicely into a dense pile that sticks together again because of all the resin. Not fluffy at all, which means Jack has some hefty lights feeding his ladies. The taste is on point, absolutely delicious, you get that hint of pepper, and then it takes hold of your lungs; you know it's got you. One hit wonder for most, and I am a seasoned vet. The high is absolutely great as well, with so many elements from different strains, I like to listen to some music and just let the tunes envelop me. Burnt to white ashes; the flush was flawless, like you would expect. All in all, I wish Jack would switch to this instead of Blue Dream, but that's just me being greedy.

12/10

Blue Dream (Blueberry x Haze) - Again, some more of what Jack had listed. I have gotten Blue Dream many times before, as it was so popular in 2012 and everyone was growing it. However, THIS Blue Dream was sooooo much better. The smell is distinct, you know it's Blue Dream right away. Fruity as hell.. Lime green with red hairs everywhere, with frosty white trichome coverage all around. This weed was easier to grind up, but that is distinct of Blue Dream as well. A bit fluffier than the GSC, it took fewer hits to finish off a bowl in this regard. Awesome high, nice wake and bake to get your day started. Overall, I would say that Blue Dream is just getting played out. It's great bud, but it's time for the better contenders to hit the scene. Jack's Blue Dream was not a let down in any way, I just feel like the strain has had it's time in the spotlight.

10/10

Girl Scout Cookies (Platinum) - Holy shit. This. You guys didn't get to try this... but I will divulge my secret: I coaxed Jack into letting me buy the rest of his GSC since he wasn't happy with the production; he felt they didn't get the proper lighting. You see, Blue Dream is a big fucking plant, and it was being a greedy bitch, but these babies still got a little love anyway. If I thought the Thin Mint was frosty, this one takes the cake. The buds were noticeably smaller than the Thin Mint, but as we discussed they didn't get enough light. However, this did not deter them from producing some amazing flowers. Color was similar to the Thin Mint, yet more dark tones were present. That was, when I could see past the frost. This weed was even stickier than the Thin Mint, and my grinder hates it as well, but this is insta-gratification in my eyes. It's like smoking hash, this weed is so dense. Jack's growing methods really show here, as the weed he thought got the least love turned out pretty fucking epic. I would imagine if they really got a chance to shine through, and get the proper light and space to grow, we would not even be talking about Blue Dream any more. Hands down this is some of the best in the world right now.

11/10

And I know Jack has a few Aces up his sleeve for us in the future. I would be on the look out for some amazing things to come. Sorry it took so long for the review buddy, but you and I both know where my loyalties lie  ;D

Since I know that like most of my posts this one will be too long by far, I've split it into sections so if there's something specific you're looking for, you get just go right to that section and skip the boring parts.

Thanks and Appreciation

Lots of thank yous I have to give out here.  First to all the JackBlue customers, thanks for the business and supporting our little operation here.  I'd thank you all individually by name but this isn't an academy awards acceptance speech.  Speaking of awards, thanks to everyone who voted for me in Uniwiz's Medical Cannabis Vendor poll.   You gave me the most votes in the poll and got me into the hall of fame.  Damn, now I can stop trying hard!  JK.  It's pretty cool to get that recognition and kudos to uniwiz for putting all of that time and considerable effort into organizing the polls and reviews.  Keeping the vendors and reviewers in line is no small job that uniwiz handles with aplomb (good word, huh?).  I know more than a few of you had mixed feelings about that poll, since I already sell out too fast every crop.   The last poll I participated in was for a middle school student council election and that one didn't end as well, so thanks.

The people I've met through my business here on SR have been across the board just a bunch of phenomenal people.  I count many of you among my friends.  Maybe that's just how it is on SR for every vendor.  If it is, wow.  If not, I'm not sure what I did to deserve it.  It makes it really easy to work hard and do my best when I know I'm doing it for people that I like.    That may sound like a BS vendor line, but it's the truth.  I've chatted with a lot of you on the message system.  If any of you haven't gotten in touch and said hi or have a question, feel free to send me a message.  I respond to all my messages, although at times it might take me a while.   So I guess my point here is, thanks for being the nice, generous considerate people that you are.  You make it fun to do my job here, and you make SR and the world a better place and I appreciate having had the opportunity to get to know some of you.

Thanks and Appreciation Part 2 for Reviews and Feedback

See what I mean, don't I just go on and on??   Thanks all for your great reviews here as well as your generous feedback and comments on my vendor page.  It always  get a lot of enjoyment reading it.  When I'm worn out by packaging and shipping orders or working on rebuilding one of the grow rooms (new technology installation for even more dialed in climatic controls), a little light reading feedback comments always rejuvenates me.  Some of you are really funny and I consider many of you good friends at this point.  I have to tell you, I never felt as appreciated and valued IRL in my former corporate job, or even with local customers where I live because, let's face it, they are just other jaded Californians like myself.  "Good bud?  Yeah, whatever."

I also appreciate and take seriously those of you who have offered constructively critical comments and feedback as well.  It makes me realize that mental illness is a serious problem that even some of my customers suffer from.   Just kidding.   I take all your comments to heart and I'm always trying to improve, and find the best new and rediscovered strains for you to have in future crops.  I'm my own most critical reviewer.  Believe me.  No matter how many positive reviews I read from customers, when I sit down to really examine some of the buds and take a smoke, I'll be like "what are they talking about?  It ain't all that!"  That's what keeps me working hard.  When I impress myself, then I'll start getting lazy.

Stilll Coming from Spring 2013 Crop -- SHATTER

I would have had the shatter listings up before now, but some of you decided that it would be a better use of my time to fill your bud orders   Seriously it was busy here for a couple of crazy weeks.  But I haven't forgotten I promised shatter listings and they're still coming.  You didn't miss them yet.  Supplies will be pretty limited so keep an eye out for them on my vendor page.  They will trickle in a few listings at a time starting this week and going for a few weeks.

Upcoming - Summer 2013 Crop - Timing

We had to take a little downtime between the Spring and Summer crops to rebuild the biggest grow room.   A lot of tech improvements (we're not old fashioned country farmers here).  We already had most of the latest hi tech growing gizmos, but we updated and integrated a lot of it to automatically control the climate, CO2 levels, nutrient levels, pH, and even change my socks and underwear.  Actually couldn't afford the tech for the last couple of items but everything else is up and running perfectly.  But getting all the improvements in place took time and pushed the Summer crop out by a couple of weeks.  We're looking at the second week of August for listings to be up.  The one disadvantage to the sativa dominant strains we like here is the longer flowering times.  But we think the payback is worth it.

As far as timing it puts the crop right in the season when the bud from last fall's outdoor crop is either so stale that you don't want to smoke it.  Summer is the time when a lot of indoor growers take a break due to the difficulties of temperature control.  We're luck here under 200+ foot redwood trees on a north slope that keeps things relatively cool even on the hottest summer days.  The A/C system gets a workout, no doubt, but we continue to grow without interruption.   We have gotten some of our best crops from the summer months.  So just when you're giving up on ever seeing good bud again, check for our listings in August.

Summer 2013 Crop - Strains

Here's the rundown of what's coming in Summer.

Old Favorites:

Blue Dream -- I know some of you have said you're getting tired of Blue Dream (yeah you uniwiz), a lot of people still order nothing else from us.  So blue dream will be back.   We cut back the square footage a bit compared to the last couple of crops, mainly to make room for some new classics and some strains we're trying out.

Jack the Ripper -- Many of you had your first taste of our bud when I sent out a lot of free samples last October including Jack the Ripper and Blue Dream.   A lot of you really liked the rare phenotype Jack the Ripper mother we have here.  She'll be back for summer and will be as popular as ever.

New Classics

Girl Scout Cookies (Thin Mint) -- This strain (60/40 indica) was more indica dominant than we typically grow here.   But it also generated lots of great reviews and comments so GSC will be back for summer and will be an addition to the rotating group of strains that reappear periodically in our grows.

The New Girls

Every crop we invite new talent to audition.  Some of these are classic strains but they are new to us, so we never quite know what to expect.  So generally we only will have a relatively small number of each of these strains until they prove themselves.  The best will go on to become New Classics.

Blue Cheese (Blueberry x Cheese) - This strain has been around for a while.  It's an indica dominant strain which I usually don't grow but is a fast grower so should be compatible with my sativa dominant strains.   Reported has more of a sativa high than most indica dominant hybrids, so figured I'd give it a try.

Maui Wowie - This is an old school strain.  Not quite sure what to expect from this sativa dpm.  Someone gave me some clones so I figured Id check it out.

Pineapple Thai - This is supposed to be a very fragrant, potent sativa dom strain.

That's all for now  I'll be posting pics online as things get interesting.

<3

Jack

Hi Jackblue,

I have tasted your wares and have to say, you do produce some fine grass and I wanted to comment on pineapple thai.  Christy Nugs had some pineapple thai and that was some seriously potent grass.  Only sativa lovers will want to enjoy it as it is a ride!

Can't wait to try your new ladies.  Best of luck and keep up the great work!

Tried a small sample of Fire OG. All I can say is more!

So far two strains stand out. The Fire OG looked very nice. The smell wasn't very bright, but smelled good just the same. Fruity, not skunky.
The buzz was powerful, and outstanding.

I just tried Jackblue's Blue Dream. Anyone that knows me, knows I love BD. I've smoked so much, I'm almost tired of it. It still remains my very favorite strain.
I've smoked various vendor's BD, even some good outdoor BD. Christy Nugs had the best Blue Dream, I ever had, up to today.

Jackblue's Blue Dream is A+, the best I've ever had. Again CN's BD smelled stronger, however Jack's has a higher THC count. I can tell these things;)

Congrads, you did it, I'm impressed. 8), buzzed too.

So three strains I have to have in my jar collection. I await next season.

Sorry for the delay in getting the shatter listings up.  There should be shatter listings up on my vendor page by midnight Pacific time.  But I'll be dropping listings periodically over the next three weeks.  Tonight I'll put up listings for single strain Winterized Amber Shatter.  The strains I'm listing tonight are going to be the two phenotypes of Girl Scout Cookies, Thin Mint and Platinum.

You might need to move quick to snag one of the listings.  There aren't going to be all that many in inventory and a lot of people have been asking about it.  It's a pretty special product.  If you've smoked BHO or wax before, forget about it.  This is an entirely different experience.  Winterizing BHO removes the plant waxes that make BHO so hard on your throat and lungs.  All the solvents are then thoroughly purged from the concentrate by gently heating it in a high vacuum chamber for several hours.  The product you end up with is technically referred to as an "absolute" in the aromatherapy and perfume industries -- the purified essential oils of the cannabis plant.  If you haven't experienced cannabis concentrates or shatter in particular, you're definitely missing something.

Cheers,
Jack

Awesome list of strains Jack.

Really must try your bud in the near future.

The Blue Cheese is one of my favorite indicas.  Not to narcotic, very relaxing but best of all very uplifting and euphoric.  Gives you a lot of smiles and giggles.

By the way all those strains are very good, you got good taste ;)

So here is my best shot at doing an honest review for JackBlue for his Winter Shatter, of both Girl Scout Cookie varieties. I say best shot because I am incredibly stoned, again, and it is my first real experience with concentrates. 8)

First of all, let me begin by saying that Jack continues to amaze me. I have never had the opportunity to try concentrates until I found Silk Road, and really didn't think much of it since it's not even really heard of around here. But when my favorite cannabis vendor said he was coming with the best, cleanest extract, I was excited to give it a go. Jack will always get your order to you, and in a timely manner. He is one of those vendors that doesn't mark your order in transit until it really has left his hands, or more importantly, when he has tracking for them. This allows you to know an EXACT time frame of arrival, rather than a pretty vague one. Some vendors tend to not ship for 24 hours after marking it in transit, which can cause an extra day of anxiety. Not with Jack. I knew my pack would arrive yesterday, and 'lo and behold it was there.  ;D

I had the pleasure of grabbing both varieties of the Thin Mint and Platinum Girl Scout Cookies. I happened to get lucky and had spare coins sitting in my account when he posted listings, and grabbed them within 30 minutes of them being up. I messaged him and got a good laugh, like always. My girl's absolute favorite flower is Girl Scout Cookies, and Jack does it the very best. The flavor of these buds are so unique, they are quite a treasure to behold. When I knew I was going to be able to experience this flavor in its PUREST form, I was pretty excited. Upon opening the containers, that familiar pungent aroma filled my nostrils. Spicy. So spicy. It is very hot here, so the shatter is very pliable and is more of a wax form right now, which is perfectly fine. I was able to pull a small glob onto my tool, which I thought was a reasonable amount, and took a hit.

Holy. Shit. I have been smoking for a pretty long time, and I have been smoking on some very good weed since we joined the Road, but I was not prepared for this. This is such a sudden rush, so intense, so amazingly hard to describe. It is the ABSOLUTE CLEANEST HIGH I have ever experienced. I felt 300% functional, great cerebral Sativa effects, but I was absolutely WRECKED. Had I not been such a seasoned smoker, I am certain I would have been done for a few hours, but I held my own. Giddy and enjoying everything I did for the next few hours, this was a similar experience to the first time you REALLY got high. The kind of high that you miss, because tolerances build up quick, and we just don't get stoned like that any more. But now we do! This will be a specialty treat to enjoy occasionally for sure. I want to savor this for as long as I can!  ;)

The timing is bittersweet. I had just finished up my last bowl of Platinum GSC that morning, and I only have one nug of Thin Mint left. I just... I just don't want it to be gone. Waiting until August will be rough, and I guess I will have to settle in the mean time  ;D Be warned that Jack's next crop will probably go very fast, so I would have my coins waiting if I were you. I just might decide to get greedy  ::)

Jack, thank you for showing me new things. Thank you for putting so much love into your work. Thank you for being such an awesome vendor, and person in general. I hope one day you retire to an island paradise of cannabis, it will be a well deserved ending. Cheers sir, and good karma as always!!

JackBlue is #1 in ALL areas. How is he not in top 10% on SR? I've tried a few top 10% vendors, but Jack is my absolute favorite! I vote Jack for #1. His service goes over the top. All his listings were down expect for blue dream, but I still asked for his other strains to order. I've never bought from him before, but he still offered the GSC he had left. His communication was prompt and extremely friendly btw. I'm sure everyone will agree when I say, he really cares about his customers, even new ones. I was treated like I've been a long time customer. Shipping only took 2 days?!? Which was unexpected, and it was professionally packaged with MBB. Can't ask for any better... Now, my highest praise goes to his quality buds. Jack, you're a dank grower, for damn sure!!!

GSC - High: 10/10 Smell: 8/10 Stickiness: 8/10 Taste: 8/10

It's so frosty with sticky resin like honey. Also got some purple. The finest looking bud I ever had. It hits effing hard, smokes good. The high is amazing. The taste and smell is just lovely with a hint of sweet scent. Not necessarily the strongest, but definitely has the dank smell. This is the best bud I got from SR without a doubt. It's better than all the top rated vendors I've tried.

Blue dream - High: 9.5/10 Smell: 8/10 Stickiness: 7/10 Taste: 8/10

It's very frosty and cured to perfection. Also super dense. It hits hard as well, and the high is very pronounce head high. It was just as good as GSC, but more sativa for sure. I'm more of the indica type. I'm crying over the fact that I missed out on his Fire OG. I'm sure that was some dank! I'm going to have my coins ready next time.

Thanks for the hook up, and I appreciate the extra weight. JackBlue 4 life!  :D

Got some GSC shatter from JackBlue (Thanks buddy).  Haven't had a full session yet, but took a quick dab or two and it was very nice.  Great product.

Those of you who like concentrates, a heads up for you.  I just posted a bunch of listings for Winterized White Fire Amber Shatter.  I vaped a hit this morning, and it pretty much knocked my socks off.  I'm a bit of a lightweight with concentrates, so your mileage may vary,  but I'm still pretty useless about six hours later.  It's seems like it's taken me hours to write up the listing and this post.  LOL.  =p

Got my pack from Jack! Yeah I'll never get tired of saying that. Anyways, been looking forward to this one for a while. After trying his first run of GSC Shatter I didn't think he'd be able to top himself but he did yet again. This is going to be one and a half reviews in one because I never did an actual review of the GSC Shatter.

So first, let me present to you... the GSC Platinum Shatter
http://i.imgur.com/c2ik9Wk.jpg

I'm pretty sure that order was generously overweight so I wanna give you a big thanks for that. Also, the high from the shatter was absolutely intense. Its been a couple weeks since I had it so I can't do that great of a review for it but I told many people that I would rank it amongst the best concentrates I've had on SR. I was saddened to see how quickly he sold out and I made sure to grab more when he made his second offering.

The second time around I ordered the Winterized Blue Dream Shatter. I could probably get even better pics of this but its an exceptionally cloudy day and I don't have a good source of light to shine through this beautiful glass.

I don't know about the White Fire Amber Shatter but if its anything like the Blue Dream Shatter it will absolutely knock you out. So, this package is actually the main thing that motivated me to get out of bed today. I actually woke up earlier than I usually would have just because I knew it was waiting. I live a hard life, I know. So anyways, I dabbed a tiny dab (since I have a cold, throat hurts, blah blah) and I forgot everything I was supposed to be doing. Its about 5-6 hours later and I'm feeling functional enough to write this review. The taste was great by the way, much much more flavorful than I remember the GSC Platinum Shatter being. Everything about each one of my orders from Jack has surpassed the last in terms of quality. I'm extremely impressed that this is your first time getting into concentrate making (I may be wrong?) and you are producing the quality of product that you are.

You are easily one of the best vendors on the road in almost every aspect. Your prices are more than reasonable, your stealth is so good that I'd feel comfortable opening my pack in front of a cop, your product is so great that you sell out far quicker than I like, and your customer service is amongst the best on the Road. I always have a dilemma when writing a review for you because I want to keep you to myself but I know that isn't fair.

Thanks again Jack. I will be back.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.  I'm ready to post the listings for the last batch last batch of Winterized Blue Dream Amber Shatter.  I will be posting the listings this morning, and when the are sold that will be it until the next crop in August.  If you want to get in on the shatter before it's gone, move quick.  It will sell out fast.  New customers are welcome, but if you're placing your first order with us please be sure and read the JackBlue vendor page before placing an order.

And stay tuned to my review thread and my vendor page for updates on the crop we've got growing.  And yes, there will be bud porn.  Photos of my girls basking under the golden glow of HPS lights.  Ohh so sexy.  Stop drooling.  Hehe.

If you have any questions or just want to chat, I answer all messages here and on the SR message system.

Cheers
Jack

XXXXXXXXX !!!!!!!!!!!! GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XXXXXXXXXX

Presenting JackBlue's Girls of Summer Preview Edition 2013

Yes it's time once again for BUD PORN!   Youngsters following this thread should read no further.  Racy content up ahead.   It's still pretty early in the flowering cycle at 4.5 weeks out of 10.  This week I'll be starting the high P & K flowering nutrients.   Then I'll recite some secret incantations, sacrifice a few small furry animals to the Redwood Gods, and then these girls should really start to get impressive.  JK about the small furry animals.  I like small furry animals.

I was a bit photographically challenged tonight.  Out of a couple of dozen photos only three were decent enough to post.  Any photographers out there have any tips?  My problem is with strains that have big fan leaves in among the buds, the camera keeps focusing on leaves in front of or behind the buds.   I have a dozen beautiful shots of sharply in focus leaves and blurry buds.  My equipment choices for the photos are a Canon Powershot with way too many setting and options, and an HTC One that has a really good camera (according to reviews).  It does HDR photos which is cool, but I couldn't get a single good picture with it, HDR or regular.  Again, too many settings and options.   Suggestions are welcome.  These were done in macro mode with 4x optical zoom and no flash with the canon.

Here are the file links.  I uploaded the photos to a hidden Tor file sharing service so you need to be using the Tor browser to view the files.  If you have any trouble accessing the files, let me know.

Blue Cheese:  http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/qicpic/files/1la.jpg
Jack The Ripper:  http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/qicpic/files/1lh.jpg
Maui Wowie: http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/qicpic/files/1l3.jpg

I'll be posting more photos in coming weeks.  The first strains to finish are probably going to be Blue Cheese and Jack the Ripper in early July followed by the others a couple of weeks later.

If anyone has any questions about the upcoming crop or if you just want to shoot the breeze, I read and reply to all my messages.  I check messages on the main SR site more often than the forum so it's the best place to contact me.    I just can't get over how many interesting, genuinely nice people I've met on SR.   Met a bunch of druggies too <EG>.  I consider many of you friends.  It's a pretty slow time for me right now, so I have plenty of time to shoot the shit.  If we haven't chatted yet, say hi.

Peace
JackBlue

My first  pack from jack was jack the ripper, can't wait to relive those memories!

And then Maui Wowie... my buddies already think I bullshit with the weed names. Can't wait to tell them I got some Maui Wowie to share! ;D

I am a concentrate newbie, I have dabbled with them since i joined silk road but never had the right piece. Got some blue dream shatter from JB. Even bought a new pipe to smoke it in. It was more of meth/oil pipe.  While I got hits, I couldn't full my lungs to capacity.

After a consultation with Jack, I decided to try with my herb iron. I packed a full bowl and topped it with shatter. I then let the herb iron get red.

Dab herb iron to shatter on bud, I had smoke coming out my ears. The taste was fantastic through the water. 2 massive hits and I had to put the bong down. I smoke like a chimney, this shit floored me.

Cheers to my man Jack!

SUMMER 2013 UPDATE

I hope you are all enjoying the lazy days of summmer. The summer crop is looking great so far.  This update is mainly to reveal our latest photo spread, Jack Blue's Girls of Summer 2013 -- an explicit photo spread of our current crop of honeys.  These photos were taken about 6-1/2 weeks into the 10 week flowering cycle.  We're still on track for listings to go up in early August.  If you're interested in experiencing some of this bud, be sure to read my entire vendor page.   It includes important info like buyer qualifications, the stealth listing process, the JackBlue Message List, shipping info and refund policies.  Here's the link:

JACK BLUE'S GIRLS OF SUMMER 2013

Blue Cheese:  This is my first time growing blue cheese indoors.  These plants are developing some massive colas.  Blue Cheese will probably finish a bit earlier than the other strains due to its indica-dominant genetics and listings for Blue Cheese may be available as early as the end of July.  I'll keep you updated on my vendor page and the review thread.

 http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/qicpic/files/1e6.jpg

Jack the Ripper:  This strain was the runaway customer favorite when I offered it in my first crop on SR last October.  Our Jack the Ripper girls have an intoxicating spicey, piney perfume, and are pretty easy on the eyes as well.

 http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/qicpic/files/1eu.jpg

Maui Wowie:  I'm not sure what to expect from this gal. I grew the mother from a clone I found at an SF dispensary.  I had never seen the strain in dispensaries before then, and I haven't seen it since I got it.  But I remember the strain well from my youth as a spetacular sativa. But weed overall has gotten a lot more potent since I last smoked Maui Wowie.  This may be an updated improved version of the classic Maui Wowie, or it may just be a retro throwback.  Looks great though with huge fat colas and a great lemony fragrance.
Growing it was all about nostalgia for me.

 http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/qicpic/files/1ee.jpg

Blue Dream:  I don't think I need to say much about this SR favorite (and one of my favorite smokes as well).  Sweet smelling and a garden beauty queen, what more can you ask for?

 http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/qicpic/files/1ey.jpg

Girl Scout Cookies (Thin Mint):  This girl is returning for an encore after a popular Spring 2013 debut at JackBlue.   The buds are not huge, but they're dense and simply gorgeous as you can see from this pic.

 http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/qicpic/files/1m5.jpg

I'm pretty excited about this crop.  The GSC is looking even better than in the last crop.  I expect to be harvesting a bumper crop next month.

Cheers,
JackBlue

Jack is definitely a class act. he doesn't act like he is doing you a favor by selling to you and his customer service is tops. he's a regular dude. And he takes pride in what he does. Been working with him since last october. always a pleasure and i actually consider him not only as a vendor but a friend as well.

SR Marketplace was down this morning when I went to update inventory.  I'll skip the morning inventory refresh to give us time to catch up on shipping.  I'll update the listings per the usual schedule this evening between 9 and midnight PDT.  Just to let you know, Blue Cheese and Jack The Ripper were a relatively small % of this crop so don't be overly concerned if those strains sell out pretty quickly (unless you had your heart set on one of those strains.  Over 60% of this crop is Girl Scout Cookies (Thin Mint).   That strain just hit it's groove with this crop and is some very impressive bud -- coming next week.

As long as you have made a decent number of purchases since you joined SR 3-1/2 months ago and don't have high refunds or autofinalizes, i'll approve your order.  I'm actually not as strict as i make myself out to be and if you're reasonably close to 4 months I can be sweet talked.  Anyone else wanting similar early (not too early) approval to order should look to his fine example of sucking up.  Sweet talk and showering me with praise are usually a good way to get started with the early approval process.  Good job Phineas!  A gold star for you today you sly dog.  LOL

Haha -- thanks! As it turns out, though, I miscalculated on the dates; I'm legal now and have already placed three orders (the shatter, and 7g of both JTR and BC).  (Not under this name -- SR name is different)

My only concern is that although you finally shamed me into using PGP, I've never used it until I encrypted my address on the orders. Hopefully I'm as successful at that as I was pleading my case as a minor.

In any event, I CAN HARDLY WAIT!

Just some new info to share.  I'm adding a new shipping option to the order page, "Priority Airbag (Experimental)".  Added the following to my vendor page but figured I'd share the info with everyone here as well.  Anyone have any thoughts or comments on my new idea?

There are now two shipping options for bud orders, "Priority (vacuum sealed)" and "Priority Airbag (experimental)".  If you're a buyer who feels that the vacuum seal is important for stealth or maintaining freshness, select the default Priority (vacuum sealed)" choice on the order form. If you're a buyer who objects to the way vacuum sealing compresses buds, keep reading.  You may want to consider the Airbag option.

 Airbag Shipping

When I started on SR, I heat sealed but only very lightly vacuum sealed the inner packaging.  After a number of complaints from buyers who think that stealth shipping must include vacuum sealing, I joined the cult and started diligently vacuum sealing every bud shipment.  Vacuum sealing advocates have a point. Vacuum sealing is a good way to ensure the seal is secure -- it won't hold the vacuum if it isn't.   If a vendor is only using a single layer of heat sealed packaging, I would go as far as to say it should be required.  But as anyone who has ordered from me before will tell you, I use two layers of unusually thick heat seal packaging.   I'm confident that my two-layer packaging makes vacuum sealing unnecessary.

The downside to vacuum sealing techology is that the process tends to compress the buds, sometimes pretty severely depending to some extent on strain (bud density being a key factor).  And it doesn't just pop back after opening the heat seal.  You know what I'm talking about if you've recently flown across the country in coach class seating with two transfers at airports on the way.  I bet you didn't arrive looking as fresh as when you left for the airport.

If you want your bud to arrive looking as if it had just flown coast to coast in the first class cabin (although probably not as drunk), and if you're willing to be at the bleeding edge of cannabis shipping research and innovation, select "Priority Airbag (experimental)" from the shipping shipping options drop-down on the order page. Instead of vacuum sealing, I will be sealing the bud in a very slightly inflated inner heat seal bag.  I will still be able to detect a leaky seal by pushing on the bag. But the advantage would be that the buds would be protected in transit in an airbag, instead of smushed against each other.  There will probably be some trial and error before I get this right.  But consider that you will be contributing to the general advancement of human knowledge and maybe, just maybe, we can look forward to a future when you can tell your grandkids "before airbag shipping technology was refined, we used to get our buds smushed in the mail".  Their eyes will widen in disbelief "no way grandpa! That must have been awful."  They might say "did you even have cell phones  back then" and you can say "WTF, how old do you think I am?"

If you select the airbag shipping option, I would appreciate your comments on how it worked out in the feedback for your order. Hopefully, with a little trial and error, we'll get the method perfected.

If you're placing a large order (more than 1 oz) this option may require the order to  be split into two boxes.  If this is a stealth shipping concern, you could ask me to ship the two packages a couple of days apart.  With vacuum sealed packaging, 2 oz will fit in a flat-rate box, but it's a tight squeeze, so keep that in mind if you're placing a large order.  You may want to request that the order be split up if you want it to arrive in the best condition possible.

 Cheers,
 JackBlue

Do you clean the bags with alcohol in between seals?
Title: Re: JackBlue vendor review thread!

Do you clean the bags with alcohol in between seals?
That's a given regardless of the method.  But IMHO, focusing on wiping layers of packaging with alcohol is missing the big picture.  All of the heat seals and layers of packaging are going to do is contain the orders that humans can detect.  From what I've learned from a couple of documentaries on dogs' abilities to detect odors, if a well trained dog were to check a package that had ever even been in the vicinity of drugs (i.e. all of California LOL) he would be able to detect it.  Luckily, the use of dogs to check domestic mail is limited to when there is already substantial suspicion.  This info is from threads in the forum posted by former postal workers.  International shipping is a whole different story.

And this would seem to be backed up by experience.   If dogs were frequently used to check domestic mail I'm sure there be a lot fewer successful shipments of weed by SR vendors.   This is all anecdotal, but in my own experience I have over 400 successful deliveries and 0 missing/seized packages.  At this point I should probably take a moment and thank the karma gods for their part in my success -- I think they can get pissy if you don't acknowledge their help occasionally.  Thank you  thank you.   Moving on...   You certainly don't read in the forums about many missing weed shipments.  Am I wrong here?  Given the generally mediocre stealth of vendors, if they were using dogs routinely in domestic mail facilities, we wouldn't be having anything like the success rate we have.

I guess my main point is that the most important thing is to avoid having your package categorized as "suspicious" by whoever determines those things.  By my way of thinking, by the time they've called for dog to sniff your package, you've already failed at your job of blending your packages into the mail stream.  Whether you've wiped the inner heat seal with alcohol is somewhat academic at that point -- something else you've done has made your package the target of the postal inspector's attention.  That's what you want to avoid first and foremost.  The key points for me are (1) a valid deliverable USPS address; (2) a valid return address; (3) all labeling machine printed and legible (never handwritten); (4) sufficient (actually exact is better) postage (5) package shouldn't be an unusual shape or size or lumpy to the degree that it will have to be handled manually or even worse, cause the sorting equipment to jam, ripping the package.  Priority mail flat-rate packaging fits the bill on several of these criteria. Definitely blends into the mail stream (used by 1000's of e-bay businesses every day), and is designed to work well with USPS equipment.  The further you go from "typical" in your packaging, the worse of you are IMHO.

Just my 2 cents.

Hey y'all.  I don't want to seem like I don't appreciate all the terrific feedback on my vendor page.  You don't know how much I appreciate it.  But here's the thing.  I'm not pointing my finger at anyone in particular (there's lots of you, believe me).   In the feedback you mention you'll be posting  a review in the forums.  So I rush off to the see the new reviews in my review thread but nothing.    I think maybe they posted it in another thread, so I google jackblue in the forums (I do that a lot, yes I'm a narcissist). still no new reviews.  It wouldn't bother me so much if I wasn't just a little bit competitive.  You see, Christy Nugs has 99 pages of reviews in her review thread.   I've got 13, and of those thirteen, I've probably written 1/3 of them.  Granted, she has been here a year longer than me.  But at this rate it will take me nearly a decade to catch up and that's if she was standing still.

What does Christy do to get her customers to write so many reviews?  She seems like she's kind of tough from her pic, so there may be coercion involved  (JK, Christy is a friend and a terrific vendor, but that doesn't mean we can't have a friendly rivalry!)  So if you promised a review and are feeling the slightest bit guilty right now, sit down and write your review, and make that donation to your local public radio station that you've been meaning to make for a few years now.

Thanks everyone for your business and support in the Summer 2013 season.  I've met a lot of new customers through the SR messagee system.  Always great to chat with customers, so if you have any questions or comments or just want to BS, send me a message.  Sales are off to a rocking start, and GSC will be listed later today, with the rest of the strains later this week.

Cheers,
JackBlue

I snatched up some of the Maui Wowi shatter this weekend, and it should be in tomorrow or the next day.  I'll post a little something in regards to the order shortly after it arrives and I am able to confirm the quality.

Ok here you go JB!

I figure I can post something because I have something on the way, and as always , you went out of your way with excellent communication and service.

Here's a straight up comparison of Jack Blue vs. Cristy Nugs for anyone that is wondering.

Disclaimer: I only have one experience with Cristy so I am a bit biased but still feel this is a fair heads up comparison.

Communication:  Winner: Jack
Because he is more personable and takes the time to treat each order with care regardless of order size.  Also provides images and updates on harvest here and on SR.  Both vendors respond to all messages.  This is a close race however only because Christy can be fun on the forums and does some giveaways, that's part of the reason the forum is so many pages Jack.  Plus people assume shes a chick .. so.. that helps too.

Availability: Winner: Christy.
Hate to say it, because damn, unless you want an OZ of BD or mixed hash, you are going to have to camp the listings or get lucky.  But.. she always has product listed.  Jack your harvest doesn't last long compared to hers.. so.. she unfortunately wins here.

Order size:  Tie?
This was tough, I almost grouped this with availability.  The only reason its a tie is it depends on how much you want.  I like the fact that Jack offers lower quantities, but others may want larger qty.. so its a tie only because it depends on the type of customer.  And damn - I don't need a freeking QP of hash Christy :P

Service: Tie?
Both ship ultra-fast and respond to all questions.  For me personally I would say Jack because he has gone above and beyond for me more than once, but I don't have enough data for a fair comparison here so must rate a tie.

Packaging:  Winner: Jack
Ok don't get your panties in a bunch Christy fans.  Her packaging is fantastic too; HOWEVER with the addition of Jack's new shipping option that keep the buds uncompressed, gave him the nudge here.

Stealth: Tie
Nuff said- flawless execution on both sides

Quality:  Tie- with a nodd to Christy
My one order was Blue Dream, it had so many crystals they lined the inside of the bag (and not just due to compression, they were falling off the buds there were so many)  HOWEVER-  at least half of the orders I have ordered from JB have surpassed the BD in dankness.  And the other half were damn close.  So again, too small a sample size for a fair fight.  I have ordered from 20+ HQ bud vendors on the road , and JB and CN are the top 2 for quality.

Variety: Tie with nodd to Jack
Jack mixes in available oils and shatter and changes up the strains each harvest.  Christy keeps up due to sheer volume (and does hash)

Fun Factor:  Winner: Christy
Again- the forum giveaways, only wins here because of the forum

Grammar and Penmanship: Winner: Jack
Lol-  had too- a clear winner here

Overall:  Jack Blue (shh don't tell CN)
I personally vote JB, because his business model suits my needs best (I don't have to order an OZ or QP) and is just a great all around guy.  His girls can go toe to toe with Christys any day.

Hope you stick around a long time JB!

Well, to be fair, JackBlue, there are a few reasons why Christy Nugs has 99 pages in his/her thread.

The first is rather apparent upon scanning through a few pages... they're not reviews. Instead of a "Christy Nugs REVIEW Thread," it's rather a "Christy Nugs Thread." It takes a bit of searching to find a real review and not the typical praise of her product. Most posts are just general discussion of her business: people inquiring if they are an exception to her 8 month rule, others replying to every update, Christy Nugs posting updates and giveaways, whatever.

A second reason is that Christy Nugs has the availability of her product almost all the time considering they're a distributor and not a grower like yourself, or so it seems that way (never have done business since I'm only at 6 months but that's just what I get after skimming through some pages over the months). You have that dry period of 2-3 months with the occasional update on the grow and harvest while she's over there selling product frequently.

Another reason is that she simply has the client base. Due to her reputation for the best bud on SR and availability of product, clients pour in, or anticipate the date they will be able to. With over one thousand fans, it's no wonder why the thread is almost at 100 pages.

Don't be so hard on yourself! You're not doing anything wrong, just that it's two completely different practices. It's not a bad thing at all that you're a grower. In fact, what YOU are doing speaks volumes... Only thirteen pages in your thread, yet you are regarded as the top vendor who has the best marijuana that you can buy on the Road, rivaled only by legendary Christy Nugs herself.

Keep at it because people like myself anticipate the moment you put up listings versus the waiting period for Christy Nugs. I have $500 in my account right now just waiting to snag an ounce of your Girl Scout Cookies and more money will pour in to buy that Maui Waui and Blue Dream. I'd be honored to write a review of your product if I have the pleasure of obtaining it. In fact, I'm writing a few tonight for other vendors.

You must be doing something right if your strains sell out in less than a week, even in limited availability ;)

I'm not pointing my finger at anyone in particular (there's lots of you, believe me).   In the feedback you mention you'll be posting  a review in the forums.

The dog ate my review.  Honest!

Seriously, I'm glad you wrote what you did because I've been intending to write a review since last Friday night. And the reason that I hadn't? I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I'm a little intimated by the folks who can write reviews discussing flavors, undertones, trichomes, etc. And if I tried to rave about the "exquisitely manicured buds," I'd just come across as pretentious -- and an idiot. [edit: although I did look and they actually are exquisitely manicured]

What I can say, however, is that this is probably the best marijuana I've ever smoked. The taste of both Jack the Ripper and Blue Cheese are really out of this world -- and I'm not a person who gets particularly excited over taste.

And both are potent!

I generally prefer sativas and knew that I'd probably love JTR -- and I do.  The big surprise for me, though, is the Blue Cheese. Incredible, fruity smell and taste, and the high is EXACTLY what the doctor ordered after an unusually stressful day. Fairly clear-headed, extraordinarily relaxing, and calming..... I feel fantastic.

Shipping and arrival time were excellent.  Packaging was excellent.  In terms of a transaction, it doesn't get any better.  But you know what has made this a really unique experience?  It's the feeling of almost participating in the process, from cultivation (the girls of summer -- what a brilliant thing to do  -- i almost felt like Mom was letting me lick the beaters before the cake went into the oven) to the pre-sales build up, to SALE DAY. And through all of this, JackBlue's updates, which are often funny and are always remarkably well written.

I really cannot imagine a finer vendor or product.

(And I am getting ready to play whack-a-mole as soon as the GSC, BD and MW listings come up!!!)

Thanks!

I still have some BD from JB's last crop; that's how good it is. I truly believe it is something special. I was hoping to get the JTR because of the cheaper price point(despite my preference towards quality), but sadly missed out.

Luckily I just got my order in for GSC, and I'm sure everyone else who did/will will be extremely happy. While I have not tried every single vendor, I do my fair share of research, and I actually expect this to be the best bud on the Road, period. JackBlue might not like that expectation, but he seems to be a pretty modest dude.

If anyone is able to purchase from JackBlue and hasn't done so, do yourself the favor and order. This is some special bud that is obviously not around often and should be cherished.

If I had more btc, I wouldn't even post this post, because I would want to order it all myself. Maybe that's why people aren't posting reviews :)

Anyway, I will post some kind of review when I receive the GSC, maybe even throw up some pictures but hopefully someone does that before me so I don't have to. I have a shitty camera that won't do these buds justice.

A+ vendor. A+ buds

Jack, you might want to consider renaming your account 'JackieBlue' and using emoticons, then maybe you'll get more attention ; ) Seriously though it's because your crop is so limited, compared to Christy's

Good night all

Thank you everyone who responded.   +1's for everyone.   Alright, alright, i feel loved again  LOL.   Thank you all.   Enuf already.  Now I feel like a narcissistic jerk-off.  And if no-one else is going to say it, I will, "would you like some cheese with your whine Jack?"   I feel a little wrong doling out +1 when people are nice to me or write good reviews.   A little self serving maybe?  Do karma gods frown on that sort of thing?  I forget about karma most of the time, so when I remember I just make a habit of doling out +1's to everyone I can think of,  figuring I was probably overdue in giving it to them by then anyways.

Fun Factor:  Winner: Christy
Again- the forum giveaways, only wins here because of the forum
Keep that up, and I'll fun your factor!  Now I think about it, y'all can just stick to the feedback.  They are usually all postiive spin and peace and love all around.   When people write reviews, suddenly they have to be "serious critics". So much negativity!  The nerve, saying I'm not fun!  LMAO.  When I said reviews, a actually meant those reviews companies do for their own products on Amazon -- I think they call them fake reviews, you know the ones with only the good stuff in them?  Do I have to spell out everything? hehehe

In all seriousness (I know, not fun) you guys just blew me away once again.  Within two hours after posting that whine you guys gave me 5 reviews.  I'm awestruck.  I wasn't sure that many people even read my posts in the review thread.   I guess they do.  Thanks.  I for one have a lot of fun here on SR thanks 100% to my friends/customers. The GSC listings are up (I just checked and they aren't out of stock three hours later.  That's a record of some sort.)   The GSC listings will be around for a while -- weeks at least  Maui and Blue Dream at the end of the week are in somewhat shorter supply.  This was the first time tryout for the Maui, so planted  a relatively small square footage with them.   Blue Dream had been a major part of the previous 3 crops so I decided to give her rest and scaled back the Blue Dream in this crop, but still enough to last for a while I think.

Stay safe,
Jack

I plan on buying some GSC later today if Im allowed to. Been waiting like a month for you to finish your crop before I ordered bud again. Went on a tolerance break actually, lol, so this should be interesting.

Once, if, I get it, I'll be happy to take a few pics with my canon DSLR and write a full review.

That would be great.  I promise I won't harass you like I did these other guys if you get busy and can't write a review.  But I always welcome reviews and comment.

It's great to have reviews in the review thread.  But not everyone has the time or desire to write the 50 posts in the newbie section that you need to be able to post in the other areas.  Although pounding out 50 junk meaningless posts is all that's really required and there's plenty of threads in the newbie section intended for that purpose. I think I knocked out 50 posts in a couple of hours for a new buyer account I created recently.  Also, I know there are some threads in the forums that do reviews that aren't associated with a specific vendor.  Vendors review threads are often not where you find the most objective reviews.  If you're writing a truly critical review and you don't mind getting jumped by the vendor's fans, you can post it in the vendors review thread.  There are some who like living dangerously (Tommy, are you reading this?), and apparently have no qualms about posting a review in a vendors thread that says he isn't as fun as Christy!  Gotta admire his cojones.  Just kidding.  Tommy's my good buddy.  We go way back.  Thought I'd make him a little nervous though.

Can someone else list some of the non vendor specific threads that are good for bud reviews.  I know of a few from googling jackblue in the forums, but there might actually be some that have never mentioned me??!!  I'm guessing there might be threads about bad weed vendors that don't mention me.  LOL

If you don't have time for the forums, just leaving informative comments in the feedback on your orders is really helpful to other buyers.  With the SR custom that almost every transaction gets a 5 rating, the comments are really one of the only places new SR members can get an idea about which vendors are good and which are not so good.

Back to order processing.

Keep safe
Jack

I know it's asking a lot, but there's another one of those "best weed vendor" polls running for the next few days and my supporters haven't turned out yet.  Here's the link to the thread.   if you think i'm good, vote for me?  I'm kind of a little competitive in these polls.  I lost the student council election in 7th grade and it's been a sore spot ever since.  So anytime I see a poll, I feel the need to redeem myself from my 7th grade failure.  During my spring crop I won the "best medical cannabis vendor" poll, but on this one seems like I'm an underdog.  We can fix that can't we?  At least get me a respectable showing.  I'm kind of high maintenance, I know -- "write reviews". "vote for me" --- what'll it be next ??  LOL

Here's the link to the poll if you feel the urge to support the home team.

I feel like I have to jump back into this thread again and give some praise to the best weed vendor on the road, my friend Jack!  In all honesty, he has always far surpassed my expectations and is even someone I consider a friend here.  He's always willing to hold a conversation and joke around, and even manages to deal with us impatient customers drooling for his buds haha (sorry if i barraged you with a bunch of questions right in the middle of your busy sales time).  Anyways, if anyone has any doubts about the quality of jacks buds, you don't know what you're missing out on until you have tried them!!

Oh btw jack, i went and got my vote in on that thread.  Doesn't look like you're such an underdog anymore lol, although not really that surprising.

How's everybody doing? I hope well. Before I begin, I want to say, I'm pretty high, and a little bored, so I'm just going to let the following review be more of a "stream of consciousness" rather than something properly edited or even "properly coherent," but only adequately so, since it's the end of the day and I'm tired. With that said:

8) ORDER: JACK BLUE'S BLUE CHEESE 8)

SHIPPING/PACKAGING/STEALTH: So my order from the one and only JackBlue arrived priority a couple days after placing the order, very fast as always, can't get any faster. Bud was obviously overweight, as JackBlue has a reputation of doing, by a substantial margin, and with a sample, individually sealed included for a potential future grow. Stealth and security is 5 stars, standard just like all the top vendors on my list (on the first page of thread, first post). The one thing I like better about JackBlue's PACKAGING though, versus some of the other top vendors, is that JB uses a unique brand of bag/container for the buds, which is also perfectly sized, so that the buds somehow barely touch the containers and are tightly enough fitted in without the crystals being compressed, either between the buds themselves or between the buds and the inner surface of the bag/container. I know I just stated this rather confusingly, but I know it makes sense, so some of you might get what I'm saying. Some of the other vendors, for instance, first place their bud in a sandwich bag, then they compress that, and then they put that bag into a standard vacuum bag/container, and they compress that, and then by the time the buyer gets his bud, they'll have bud with the exterior displaying clearly damaged trichomes, and a lot of trichomes attached to the inner surface of the first bag. Of course while not the biggest deal, my point is that this is yet another way JackBlue stands out from the rest...seems like he's thought of every last thing and got it covered to maintain that top spot he earned during the huge 4/20 contest last spring.

CANNABIS: Now for the buds. I ordered the blueberry x uk cheese aka Blue Cheese. It is clearly a hybrid. The color of the buds is darker green than a strain like blue dream or green crack, but it is not quite as dark as certain heavy indicas I've had, such as a local batch of Romulan I had a month or so ago. Come to think of it, the color is identical to the Mendo Ghost I reviewed earlier from SativaSally. The Blue Cheese had an intoxicating fragrance, with deeply musky overtones and sharply sweet undertones, appropriate for this true hybrid. The density of the buds was also quite high, again not quite as rock hard as some of the heavy indicas I've had, such as og venom, but certainly close, with an extreme tightness, that really adds to the joy of handling and consuming these buds. Tighter buds just feel more professionally grown. The trichomes appeared more in line with those of sativa-heavy hybrids, being closer to the the white/cloudy color spectrum (versus the blonde color I've noticed indicas tend to show), and of medium length (longer length = sativa, shorter= indica). And the TRIM JOB IS REALLY UNBELIEVABLE, I DON'T KNOW HOW JB DOES IT, WHETHER HE HIRES A TEAM OF TRIMMERS TO WORK DILIGENTLY OR IF THE BUD JUST NATURALLY HAS AN EXTREMELY LOW RATIO OF SUGAR LEAVES TO PURE, PURE BUD, BUT MY GOODNESS, THE TRIM JOBS ON HIS BUDS ARE AT NUG-PORN LEVELS. The stems are incredibly thin and small, making me think there is no way the buds could have been supported by the plant themselves, JB must use some support system to relieve the stress, quite interesting. This might not be overly important for smokers, but for vaporizers like me, a higher nug to leaf, and nug to stem ratio is extremely appreciated, as it exponentially increases the smoothness and taste. I've seen great buds by others throughout the years that are fairly high potency, sold at the same price as JB's buds or sometimes higher when taking into account all the generous weight, but they have a low nug to leaf ratio, and I'm starting to think it's because some of the other vendors don't properly mature their buds, because JB's buds hardly have even the tiny little leafs that you can't take out and they get stuck in between the buds and somehow end up in your bowl, no matter how hard you try to avoid them. The cure for this Blue Cheese was fantastic, not dry at all, and not too moist either; smokers will find the consistency perfect, and vaporizers may have to let the bud sit out for 20 minutes before crushing finely for vaping. Now for the taste, just like the smell, tastes pleasantly musky and slightly sweet, but it surprisingly had a very subtle and spicy mint component added to the taste as well (only evident in a good vaporizer), which was a nice surprise. And high is a very clearheaded HAPPY high, that is energetic, lasts a SUPER long time compared to other strains, a good 3-4 hours per session for folks with tolerances like mine. The high is similar to Blue Dream, but a slight bit more relaxed and controlled but still containing the spacey feeling, making this a true all-day strain. This did not provide any couchlock, and I am able to concentrate for long periods of time on both mechanical as well as abstract works while high on this strain.

OVERALL: another 10/10 banger, JackBlue is still the clear #1 in my book. I don't think Blue Cheese is currently available, but regardless, I think it was a real winner and should stay in the mix for the future. A very happy high. I had a very bad night last night extending into a bad morning today, but this strain was able to euphorically uplift my mood for a complete 180 flip.

Thanks for everything, sorry for all the grammatical mistakes, particularly the syntax, but I am not going to waste time in fixing them, this ain't no essay.

Much Love,
UANDiR1

Your wares sound so tasty.

Also: "You will get an overweight bag if you use PGP encryption for your address with your order. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. If you're having trouble there are plenty of help threads in the forum, or send me a message and I'll try and get you through the process. Look who crawled out from under the bridge.  I know he looks kindof like a troll, but he's a pussycat under all that ugly ratty fur, aka the troll mascot for my review thread Heatfan.  Everyone give him a warm welcome.  I promise he doesn't bite.   See he's not so bad.  Will you plsy nicely with the other forum visitors.  I think he's a little out of sorts because I've been so busy with orders I have't had time to sexually harass him lately.

When we first started talking in the forums I wondered why such a nice guy had so much negative karma.  I don't wonder that any more.Luv ya mean it HeatFan!xoxo Jack=

But to answer your question I will quote an ex of mine and still a great friend and the one who is in charge of the terrific manicuring job a lot of you have commented on.   When I asked him if he was with me because I was a grower and he said, "in all honesty, no, but it doesn't hurt either".  Everything isnt' that black and white ya know.

Hey all, here are my thoughts on JackBlue's Girl Scout Cookie - Thin Mint

Communication: Was a pleasure to communicate with Jack, and I appreciate his timely responses.

Stealth: I opted for the "airbag" option, which kept the buds from getting smushed.  Great stealth, overall.

Product: I could wax on poetically for hours about how good this bud is... I vape, and you can taste the love put into this product.  As described, the GSC packs an initial sativa high.  If you are like me, the pain-reducing indica ending makes this a great hybrid choice.  And yes, at the end, there is an undertone of mint!

Overall: 10/5, great value for your hard-earned money!

Peace!

I liked the airbag option too. It's nice to see JB offering the two choices. I received the airbag option by standard on the previous order, and was quite pleasantly surprised as to how well it works, which makes me wonder why the other vendors have not adapted themselves (only one other vendor out of the 8 or so cannabis vendors I've tried use it). I guess JB's just several steps ahead of the rest.

My Review :)

Communication: A+
Speedy friendly replies. Never left a message unread and unanswered.
Shipping: A+++
Shipping is super quick 2-3 days and he also gives a heads up to when to arrive which not many vendors do.
Stealth: A+++
Stealth is one of the best. Very high grade MBB that I've never seen before and also clever and professional label/return address.
Product: A+++++
JackBlue has some of the best weed on SR. Its fresh and straight from the grower himself. His 18 years or so of experience definitely shows in his bud. The smells are amaaazing and hits you right in the face as soon as you cut through the very last layer of the vacuum seal.

Blue Cheese: The BC smells EXACTLY like blueberries with slight undertones of cheesy skunky musk odor. Imagine grabbing a handful of blueberries and blending it with a huge block of Parmesan cheese then taking a whiff of it.. that's how this stuff smells. Its very very UNIQUE and nothing like I've smelled before. The bud is beautiful and green with coats of trichomes everywhere. The High is very very dreamy and worry free. Excellent A++++ Medicinal quality.

REAL Girl Scout Cookies: This one is my all time favorite medicines ever. Very very beautiful looking buds with tight huge swollen calyxes that are just sugar coated with trichomes that shimmer like someone sprinkled diamond dust all over them. THEY look BEAUTIFUL! i enjoy just staring at them! LOL
Some have crazy purplish greys and are just covered with crystals!!!
The high is amazing and puts me into just the right mindset. No paranoia, no worries, and everything becomes interesting. Its very dreamy BUT in a focused way.. A++++++ My favorite so far ATM.

Conclusion: JackBlue is one of my favorite bud vender so far. His bud is the best quality and is straight from the grower himself. You know that the strain you are ordering is what your getting. Some inexperienced buyers might not realize this with some of the other top 5% vendors. JackBlue sells real strains. He's the only vendor offering the real deal Girl scout cookies. Trust me I've tried 4 others. I can't wait to see what other strains he will offer. I almost forgot the BEST PART is that my order was OVERWEIGHT by over 15g+ !!!!!!! I don't know if your scale is broke or what but THANKS :) !!!!!!! I'm very happy

UPDATE 8/13/2013

If you haven't guessed this already, I'm sorry to break the news that a tidal wave of orders starting around Friday and going through the weekend has pretty much wiped this crop out.  I know a lot of you were counting on getting another order in before I sold out.  A lot of you have sent me messages inquiring about availability.  I have 60+ messages in my inbox waiting to be read and responded to, but the backlog of messages is still getting longer.  I will respond to each of you individually.  But be patient.

I'm still sorting out the situation with private listings.  Many of you requested and got private listings and I believe I'm still holding enough inventory to take care of those.  If I gave you a private listing and you haven't placed your order yet, now is the time to do that.  Otherwise, please contact me and let me know if you still intend to place the order.  I'm willing to work with you if you have some delay in getting bitcoins or some other issue.  If you changed your mind and aren't going to order, please let me know so I can re-list it on my vendor page.  I'm going to put a time limit on this coming Friday for private listings.  If you haven't placed your order by then or made special arrangements with me, your private listing will be cancelled and it will be relisted on my vendor page.

Anyone still wanting more bud, you may want to keep an eye on my vendor page throught this next weekend.  I'm sure some private orders will end up being cancelled and the products will be re-listed. The good news on concentrates is that I'm not out yet.  I'll be producing more concentrates in the coming weeks and will list them as soon as they are ready.

Finally, thank you everyone for making this crop my biggest and most successful on SR.  I hope my products met your expectations.  Time for me to catch up on some overdue sleep.
Thanks to the absolute best friends/customers anywhere.   You're why I keep coming back.  Stay tuned to my vendor page for updates on the next crop.

Don't tell HeatFan, but every bag I ship out is substantially overweight.  If he finds out he might stop sending me his naughty pics, so lets keep that between  you and me.  Naughty pics welcome (if you have some you're dying to share) but have nothing to do with me giving you extra weight.  No my scale isn't broken.  Its just how I do things. ;)

Just got my package yesterday from Jack.  When i ordered from him on his last harvest it got to me in 2 days, and this time was no different.  Shipped on monday and in my box wednesday, unreal!  2 days to the far east coast?!? Idk how he does that.  i used to be so impressed with vendors that got to me in 3 days from the west coast area, and this just sets the bar even higher.  Communication was great as always, even through his super busy time of getting everyones orders processed.  I tried the new airbag option and it didnt disappoint one bit.  If anyone is deciding between the two, i would highly recommend the airbag.  the buds came in perfect looking and completely uncompressed, I think you found your shipping niche Jack!

Now for the buds themselves....they look like buds straight out of high times.  I got the GSC and blue dream.  the trim job is perfect, I didnt find one sugar leaf or unwanted clingers anywhere on the half o i got and the cure is imo perfect as well.  not too dry (which I hate) but not overly moist either.  Im not very good at picking up the different kinds of smells like some people on here are, but i can say that they both smell incredible and true to the strain.  the blue dream has very fluffy buds that are covered in orange hairs and crystals, and the GSC are more on the denser side with light green, dark green and purple depending on where you look and also look like they were rolled in sugar.  I tried the blue dream first around 6pm last night, with one medium sized bong rip.  Very smooth smoke, and this is def some top shelf blue dream.  Kept me very relaxed but at the same time in a very great mood and able to be active around the house still, no couch lock at all.  Reminded me again why this strain is in my top 3.  the come down was very light and natural as well.  Around 9pm I decided it was time to try the GSC.  I got out my grinder and proceeded to grind some up, only to find out that I cant use my grinder on this bud cause all it did was clog it up really bad, nothing even made it through the holes lol.  This stuff is so sticky!!  I took 2 decent bong rips, and before I even took the second I could already feel it in my head like a nice happy but stoned sativa rush.  The second rip just sent me soaring, such an amazing high with this unique strain.  It mixes the sativa and indica highs perfectly, and made it super enjoyable watching weeds re-runs.

Anyways, I could talk forever about how good this bud is so ill try and wrap it up now.  Jack is by far the best weed vendor on the road, and I wouldn't hesitate recommending him to anyone here.  Thanks again Jack!  Its gonna be a long wait for the next harvest.

Hey All,

Just wanted to post a quick review.

The GSC is easily the most aesthetically pleasing bud I've laid my eyes on. Shades of light green, dark green, and purple and everything in between.
Drenched completely in entire patches of white milky trichomes, the contrast of colors is really something to behold.
Grown to perfection the genetics and potency really shine.
Plus the manicure job is simply beautiful, really really dense nugs too.
Stickier than molasses, and extremely difficult to break up.  Sticky icky, for real.

Smokes good, and clean - no harshness at all.  Lots of flavors here.  Skunky from the OG Kush plus, some sweetness almost like sticky cotton candy, with underlying earthy mint chocolate.  Lingers for a long time.
It's just a really clean, really potent, amazing hybrid.  Stoney and relaxing, especially good for stress and anxiety.  Decent pain relief.  Anti-inflammatory.  Plus strong anxiety reduction.  Hybrid through and through - you can smoke this anytime of the day.  Uplifting at times with a clear sativa head high from that yummy Durban Poison.  Mmm.   Very impressive hybrid that's very versatile and well rounded, and has a very impressive THC to CBD content, impressive numbers. No doubt, an unreal strain all the way around, especially Jacks.  I'd highly recommend it for it's strong and extensive medicinal purposes.

Seriously impressive in all aspects, Jack you rock and thank you.
One of the most beautiful strains on the planet, it's hard to find bud this appealing.
Just look inside, and then you'll see.
That these cookies be the truth.

Appreciate the awesome opportunity to try your bud it was freaking spectacular.

Truth, Vanquish!  1up.  I agree with everything that you said wholeheartedly, especially the aesthetics bit.

I came back to the thread really quickly to thank Jack again.  I am up cleaning house!  You have no idea how awesome that is.
I love you Jack, and I'm throwing all my money at the screen right now.  <3

Edit: Forgot to mention the taste.  My first smoke was out of a dirty-ish pipe and I didn't get the mint-cookie taste. I thought, "meh, no biggy.  My tastes are off right now, I may not get it."  Then later on, after I cleaned out my pipe the taste hit me on an exhale and *whistles* that ish was veryyyyy niiiice... Made me go all cheshire for a minute.  -'-__-'-

 Vendor: Jackblue
Strain: 14g of Girl Scout Cookies (Thin Mint) for $185

Communication (5/5): Jack always replies to messages pretty quick, and he's a relaxed guy who's easy to talk to and joke with.  He was willing to substitute an 8th of his famous Blue Dream in my order, which I was grateful for.

Shipping (5/5) - 3 days, on par with the best.

Stealth/Packaging (5/5)- Jack's new shipping method is flawless.  Top stealth, yet keeps the nugs preserved in all of their glory.  I highly recommend vendors take notes, because this definitely gives jack a competitive advantage in this area.

Product Appearance and Smell (5/5) - Girl Scout Cookies: I've never had this strain before, but it smells fucking wonderful.  Stinks up my entire house.  The buds are manicured to perfection, allowing the buds to show their beauty.  The nugs vary from dark to light green, with purple splotches on the nicer buds, all absolutely COATED in hug trichomes.  These are some of the densest buds I've ever had, and they are a bitch to grind up.  Definitely the prettiest nugs I have EVER had the pleasure of owning.
Blue Dream:  The Blue Dream doesn't smell as sweet as the GSC (nose got kinda stuffed up) but it still makes its presence known.  These buds are extremely fluffy, and nearly every inch  has deep orange hairs practically bursting out of it.  The trichomes are everywhere just like with the GSC- this stuff sparkles.

Product Effects (5/5): GSC: My brother and I loaded up my bong and about 1/3 of the way through smoking it we just looked at each other, droopy-eyed with the biggest grins.  This stuff kicks off with a really powerful head high that lasts for about 30 minutes before seamlessly transitioning into a nice, heavy body high.  You really get the best of both worlds here.  Ashes white, tastes good going down and clean on the exhale.  The high lasted for a good 3+ hours which is amazing with my tolerance. I see why everyone raves about this stuff.
Blue Dream: After the GSC wore off, I packed up another bong to see how the BD stacks up.  The high from this stuff didn't hit me as hard, but was incredibly uplifting.  The head high from this is very clear and enjoyable, and the body high is slight but there.  It tasted delicious, and the high was top notch.

My first experience with JackBlue has exceeded my expectations!  His shipping is top notch and his buds are a work of beauty- the best I have had on the Silk Road.  I'll definitely have an eye out for any future crops, and the concentrates you have in stock.

I came to do a review on the GSC. Not much I can really add to some great reviews already posted, so most of this review will just be an echo.

VENDOR
Communication- Was a treat. Always had a quick response and Jack seems like a genuinely good guy.

Shipping- Was fast, stealthy, and quick.

PRODUCT
Visual (and other senses)- These are some of the most beautiful chunks I have ever seen.  Super frosty and about as dense as they could get. Large calyxes stacked on top of each other. The structure is amazing. It looks exactly like real GSC looks in pictures. Right down to the slight purpling. The trim job was also really tight. The trichs are mainly cloudy with some milky and a few amber. Exactly I want to see on a sativa hybrid. Dried perfectly, but still pretty fresh so a few weeks in a jar won't hurt. It will help bring out the smell and taste a little more. Smells and tastes good as it is, but a slow cure rarely hurts. I'm going to quote Vanquish for the taste as he put it exactly, "Lots of flavors here.  Skunky from the OG Kush plus, some sweetness almost like sticky cotton candy, with underlying earthy mint chocolate.  Lingers for a long time.".

Effect- Nice quick sativa lift almost immediately, melding into a heavy body after a little while. No couch lock, but more of a couch hug that is hard to leave. A little bit is good for the daytime, and a little bit more is perfect for night. I find myself sleeping quite soundly when it's time to.

Overall- I couldn't ask for the vendor to do anything different. 1st class perfection all the way there. Product wise, it is an extremely well grown, all around versatile strain. I don't know if it makes my favorites list yet, but it's pretty clear it's the real deal and not one of the knock-offs floating around (Fortune Cookies). I can say JackBlue brought this plant to its full potential. A true pro grew this and it shows. Bravo.

(Also, my feedback never made it onto his buyer page for some reason, but I'll post it here)

Some of the best I've seen. Ever. Purpling through on some. Stacked, very dense, and an amazing structure. Great product and vendor.    4 days ago

As promised I am back after my session.

I freshened up the bong and got the Herb Iron out for the occasion.

The least I can do for Jack is provide a honest review.

I am fortunate to have a friend who has been addicted to JackBlue bud since he come on the seen and I have sample most if not  the strains he has offer. They have all been second to none.

I will share my thoughs on the maui next post as I wanna get to 100.

Vendor: JackBlue the great

Strain: Maui Waui

SR Link: Sold out? Or not currently listed

Package/Shipping: The innovative Airbags kept the buds fluffy upon arrival.

Appearance/Bag Appeal: At first glance I was dissappoint I got brown bud from JB. I then popped the airbag and show these ladies the sunlight. Thats went I realized the buds are hugged in rust/burnt orange colored hairs. Pulling the hair back you see the almost olive colored bud. The nicest bud was over 4 grams and less the a 5th of the bag were dingle berries. These buds don't have much sex appeal like the GSC my buddy showed me. The smell is not overwhelming

Taste/Smoke: The taste took me back to smoking in the 90s, mot much flavor like the more popular strains but it expanded in my lungs and I was not able to hold as long as I like. The smell is faint

Experience/High: Not a one hit wonder, but I got high

Cost: =)

Overall: I want thank Jack for providing another strain to cross off my bucket list -This bud gave me some major munchies and I could not have wished for a better transaction.

Long Live JAckBlue!

1g blue cheese shatter review:

smoking device: Zob tube w/ 18mm titanium nail

I had some extra coin so i decided to give jackblue a try for the first time as he has rave reviews.

I missed out on his flowers but i was excited to find some concentrates of his available....so i snagged up a taste of the blue cheese shatter for myself.

of course, the communication was stellar; letting me know when it went in-transit, etc.

stealth was phenomenal as well; i mean top notch, no worries at all. well done.

the blue cheese shatter is good. it is not phenomenal though. it is also not shatter.

now, this is not such a big deal to me as long as the product is clean; it has to be clean, well purged bho for me (and hopefully everyone else) to consume...it just does. that's one reason i went with the shatter he had over the jack the ripper wax.

but why say it's shatter when it is not...i was thinking i may have gotten the wax he had mistakenly....but what i have looks like neither of the pics that were representing each listing.

so what this stuff does look like is some type of wax/budder combination. it is soft, like i said not shatter and not clear. it looks wet as well, oily you can say..... in my air conditioned house set @ 74 degrees it is soft, not sticky (like very poorly purged oil) but i can easily press my dabber down and into the wax and load up for a dab. it is sort of crumble-y as well...it's definitely an odd texture. not bad, but odd.

when i first got it yesterday, i wanted to transfer it to my own larger piece of parchment paper, so i threw the wax in the freezer to remove the larger chunks easily. after that i put the wax paper back in the freezer for a bit so i could really freeze the pieces that were stuck to the original wax paper i had received. it wasn't possible to get all of the wax off the paper....after i got most of it the rest would just smear even after more freezer use; but w/ shatter you can just snap it off w/o any freezer use whatsoever.

the color of the wax is a mixture of brown/golden/yellow. when i press into with my dabber it is almost like i can see the heads of the trichomes, like in water extraction. i am not saying this is bubble bag work, it's not as it is definitely bho; but i am just saying it looks like that, which is cool.

the smell is kind of piny at first, break/mash up the wax and the smell becomes citrus/berry-ish/funky/fuel a touch...it's nice.

the taste is decent. nothing great but certainly not bad by any means.

now, there is some residue left on my nail after dabbing. it certainly is not the "dirtiest" wax i've had, by far. there is also no sparking or popping on the nail when taking a dab, that would be filthy. it's just a slight amount of residue from the blue cheese dab, but residue nonetheless.

so the high is good. a few dabs and i am set for a bit. it is not the knock your socks off dab though. the high is a slight creep which i dig....nice build up then it blossom into its peak....it's good. i would give it a solid B.

that is my review. thank you jackblue, i hope to other products of yours in the future.

alright, so i was sent the wrong product; i received the jack the ripper wax instead of the blue cheese shatter.

i will report back w/ an update once i receive the new shatter.

UPDATE: I received my reship from jack, he sent me 1g of the gsc winterized shatter he had just finished making.

Pretty much not only does this stuff blow away the wax he mistakenly sent me, it is the best concentrate I've gotten off sr. Stuff is well made. It is very enjoyable to smoke; i want to keep smoking it b/c it is so good.

Seriously, no bullshit. If it wasn't good I'd say so...like with the wax...i wanted to like it but just couldn't...with this shatter you love it immediately.

It's sooooooo smooth. Like co2, but it's bho. awesome. the taste is great as well, the exhale is very pleasant.

it is indeed potent. like i said, best shatter i've had on the road (that includes concentrates from other top concentrate vendors as well), it is also SHATTER-it snaps, breaks, shatters..ha, no easy smoosh and dab wax.....i certainly hope there is more to come.

thanks jackblue.

Just wanted to stop in and give a BIG UPS to JB. I always kept a eye on him till a recommendation from a trusted member pushed me over to go on a mission to hopefully grab a order with him. Given the long list of fans and how fast he sells out I had to act fast. Well I ended up being to late again and bummed out as I was, I threw a message his way anyway and didn't really expect a response being sold out and all but he did.... I should mention that this vendor has some of the best service to this date. The guy makes you feel like we been boys for a long time, takes the time to have a conversation and most of all I say this because he came through on a bag of thin mints. I was mentally preparing myself to fight with the refresh button to pickup a canceled order from another buyer and I'm glad I didn't have to. Delivery was right on time and his stealth is....impressive and I can see it work very very well on orders half zips and up, it's a big step and I say the new gen of what vendors are using now.

As for product itself, damn strange it was opening up everything. Finally some thin mints something I been holding off to try till I ran across the right vendor. Open everything and noticed barely any smell from the stealth and when I opened up the baggy. It was just a lingering smell to it. I say about 5 mins later transferring them into jars is when the smell started getting stronger. It seems the air and letting them breath a little gave em gas because damn it really started to kick. Buds were hard, very dense, and fuck are they sticky. Had to use scissors to break some of the buds up, they completely got stuck in my grinder and wouldn't break up. I let them sit out for a half day to dry em out a little so it would be easier to break up but that didn't really help either.. scissors it is! Rolled up a white owl, the stuff rolls up very nice, smoked half of it and I was floored...There's no describing it any other way but to say that, it fucked me up, definitely not something I would smoke during the day...It gives that "stuck on stupid" high, I noticed when it took me 45 mins to order a damn pizza..LOl D

The care that JB put into the GSC strain shows in the product itself. I was to late in grabbing some of the Jack the ripper wax though due to some coinage problem. All good I'll hold off till next time, oh did I meantion he's a sativa guy? That's a big plus also in my book. Can't wait for his next harvest.

Everything you hear about JB and whispers, and chatter....Theiy're all true, yes ALL the RUMORS..haha ;X inside joke. But, those that are thinking about putting a order in with him next time make sure you do because out of all the years I been smoking it's some of the best smoke I've had in a while.

Thanks JB! For hooking it up and coming through at the last min. I am a fan, can't wait till the next one.

All bud is grown indoors, climate controlled, CO2 boosted, high pressure aeroponic cultivation system.  Sorry no bulk.  Too much demand and nowhere near enough bud to fill all the orders I get as it is.  I have a relatively small operation (by Nor Cal standards).  I keep it small to keep the quality high.  I'd rather be cultivating good weed than managing staff -- that's what happens when you get too big in this business -- you end up as a manager and not a grower.

During JackBlue's last harvest, I was able to snag an ounce of his Girl Scout Cookies about a month and a half ago. Unfortunately, I was not able to get any more product from him as he sold out through private listings (which I would've requested had I known he was accepting those) so I was obviously disappointed not being able to see the Maui Waui or Blue Dream, but the ounce that I received made up for it.

I requested the airbag option and was amazed at how the nugs arrived. All 31.2 grams, that's right, an eighth EXTRA in an ounce, were nice and fluffy, completely uncompressed without any leakage of smell or compromisation of stealth and security. I had ordered on August 9th, marked in transit on the 13th, and arrived the 15th.

That ounce was the best weed I've ever seen ever in my life ever, not to mention the best bud on SR that I've ever received. In fact, it was so special that I told my girlfriend to completely savor it, treat it with the utmost respect, and cherish it as it is probably the best bud that she and I will ever possess or see in person. You would not be able to get this type of quality unless you had years of experience with growing like JackBlue does (nearly two decades' worth!!).

With painful regret, I can't comment as to how it smokes nor can I tell you how the high is. During that time period, I had so so many strains to sample that were never tasted because of then events and circumstances. What I can say is that the smell was so pungent that even outside, it was so stanky that I heard my neighbors yell over my fence "DAMN, who's got that loud?!" as I was taking pictures. Whoops...

Anyway, what I can provide is some weed porn! Taking XXX pix of these gorgeous nugs was so much fun, I couldn't contain myself in the slightest. Layers and layers of trichomes covered every millimeter of the flowers, there was not a single gap where there weren't reflective crystally goodness. A magnificent blend of purple and green greets the eye when looking at the bud. Breaking open a nug reveals a tender light yellow-green complemented by even more trichomes. Words don't do the Cookies justice, please look at the pictures!

What I can guarantee is that I am highly anticipating JackBlue's next crop, and I will get a sample of each of his strains. It's going to happen (hopefully), and reviews of those will accompany the purchases. Sorry that this was so late :/

Great pics! Brings back great memories, I tried to make it last as long as I could but it's long gone :(

Looking forward to an update on the garden from JB. My buddy got some fantastic blue dream from chirstynugs recently, hoping Jack has some BD in his next offerings.

Anyway, thanks for sharing the pics- that was some good shit!

I haven't set up a vendor account at any of the other markets yet.  I have a forum account at BMR, and am getting set up on the new SR forum (http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion/index.php).  You can email me at jackblue@safe-mail.net, but only email me using PGP please.  I probably won't be active selling on any other markets at least for a while but feel free to contact me so we can talk.

Stay safe everyone.
