Title: FE Scam worry (Especially HIIIIPOWER)
Post by: FreedomtodoDrugs on September 14, 2013, 08:42 pm
Hi,
I am yet to make an order with 'HIIIIPower' as I am a bit worried that he may have gone the way of the scammer 'MrFireUK', in that he has now out of the blue updated his profile with a rule saying everyone is required to FE for orders less than 1000euros, this reminded me A LOT of what MrFireUK did last year, are my worries justified? Or do a lot of sellers randomly add this as a rule? His feedback is inundated with 'FEd, will update', just like MrFireUKs was, why would a seller do this, screams scam to me.

Would you give a dealer on the street 50bucks and let him go away to pick them up?
No?!
Why should you do it on Silkroad...

As the rules state a vendor can only ask for FE after 1 month and 35 successful transactions, alot of vendors do the minimum requirements then require FE so only time will tell

Thanks for that information.

It seems that HIIIIPower has been around for seven months with over 200 transactions.

Find a different seller who doesn't require FE. There is usually plenty of them..

Let SR become a buyers market when it comes to escrow, and not let the vendors do what ever they wan't!

I don't know the vendor, but you really shouldn't ever FE. There are a handful of people I will do it for, but only because I know from experience that my stuff is halfway to my house by the time I hit the button.

The vendor's reputation and reviews should be enough to guide you here.
