Title: In the event of a scam.
Post by: HeartOfDarkness on November 04, 2012, 08:53 am
Hello SR community,  I'm having some trouble using the search function and was wondering if any of you would be kind enough to point me towards a page that explains what happens in the event that I get scammed.  Or if someone could explain it to me?  I'm currently thinking about ordering something from a vendor who has an item for sale that costs a few hundred.  I really want his item but fear what may happen if it is a scam.  I noticed there's a FE option whenever I make a purchase,  how does this protect me from scams?  And say he doesn't require me to FE but I don't receive my item,  does SR help resolve this issue?  And how?  Hopefully this all makes sense.  Thanks guys!

I am sure that you have read the vendors page as well as the above link. Vendors will tell you what there policies are and if they can prove delivery with a DCN then resolution will assume the package has reached its destination. Quality is ensured by great feedback over a period of time so be warey of new vendors and understand the risks
