Title: BitInstant Needs Personal Information- WTF?
Post by: SleepingMind on August 10, 2012, 11:21 pm
I went to generate an invoice through BitInstant.com and choose BTC to email and deposit through bank. While on TrustCash, com page it asks for name and address. Last time I used this method of buying BTC it did not ask so such information. Anyone know how to avoid giving this personal information?

Thanks,
SM

I just printed out a BitInstant form and went to a CVS and used their Moneygram. After I got off the phone with the Moneygram rep, I went to the cashier, and the bitch (yes, she was being a bitch) asked for my ID. The cashier said they need ID to verify the information. They ask for ID now?? The previous time I went to another CVS and used their Moneygram, I didn't have to present my ID. Is this a requirement for all Moneygram orders now or it's only at selective CVS? I might try a different store tomorrow like one of those Mexican places around town.
