I noticed that the AfterHour no longer has a account. Does anyone know what happened to him?
-
Take a look at this thread:

He got busted hardcore.
-
Shit.... i'd say that's why.... That's too bad.. He had the best stealth..
Anyone know of molly vendors who will not automatically put tracking on?? as i cannot sign for it...
-
You really should learn aabout Afterhour so life can be better for you
-
Yeah I read about that shit the other day. I'm feel for him. Iv e heard he was a great vendor.
-
I just noticed AfterHour has disappeared.
Well if he got caught that's a shame.
I never ordered from him, but I was planning to in the future.
Heard so many good things about them too.
The worst part is that someone will have to spend a long time in jail for a victimless crime. :(

the lesson here is that if you're a successful vendor on sr perhaps it's best to stick to sr and ditch offline vending. despite all the paranoia it's extremely unlikely to get caught solely for vending here even if you're in the top 1%
-
Poor guy, bought from him a few times and he was a great vendor! Seemed like he began slipping up towards the end of his time at SR though, maybe he was getting sloppy and thats why he or they ended up getting caught!

That is a good idea, but people like SuperTrips, AfterHour, etc would only be doing a fraction of their business on Silk Road.
The quantity some people move is millions per week. As Silk Road gets more popular though, I'm sure they could work with online orders only.
But AfterHour got caught because they were stupid and they walked in to post offices to post orders. And the tracking on the orders showed where it was posted from.

that is why i will never send with tracking. what i was trying to say is that's better to have a small but safe thing going. is all that money really worth it if you risk spending many years in prison if you get caught? i think not. and you will get caught eventually if you don't know your limits

Same. I will never walk into a post office or use anything that can be traced to me.
I make sure I'm not on any video cameras either.
