hey,
so i have a small quantity of bitcoin, which i purchased through bitinstant on clearnet. i deposited into a blockchain wallet (created over tor).
just curious - how safe would it be for me to deposit my coins in the blockchain wallet directly into my SR account? i read that the SR sends all payments through the tumbler, which makes them virtually untraceable.
i was initially going to go through bitcoinfog first, but now i'm think it's unnecessary. what do you guys recommend? should i use bitcoin fog first, or am i fine just depositing straight into the road?
keep in mind this is a tiny amount of bitcoin, not even 1.
thanks!

Its totally fine.

are you sure mate? is it common practice?

bitcoinfog eases the conscious.

problem is, i just barely have enough coin to purchase the product i want. if i use the fog, ill have to go with a totally different vendor, which i don't want to do.
so obviously i only want to use bitcoinfog if depositing directly into the SR isn't anonymous and safe.

it's fine, I've done it many times, you shouldn't have any issues.

It depends on how you purchased the bitcoin on BitInstant. If you purchased with cash, shouldn't be a problem. If you used a credit card, or bank account or other method that can be traced back to you, it might be a good idea to run your coins though BitcoinFog before depositing to SR

well, i did deposit cash, but i filled out the bitinstant form on clearnet and used real info. is this okay? is it still safe to transfer directly into SR, or should i go through the fog?
