Hey community!
So I installed GPGTools into my MacBP 10.6.8 and created a new set of keys. When I open up the GPG Keychain Access lists I only saw the name of my key I created but it said "sec" in front of it. I read that was your private key? Well where the hell is the public key? The only other thing created on the list was some GPGTools Project Team public key.
I opened up a blank textedit document and r/clicked to "OpenGPG: Insert my Key" and Got the ----Begin PGP Public Key Block---- jibberish stuff ---End PGP Public Key Block--- BUT when it inserted it made two copies. one after the other. The second one after it is in a smaller font size. Both say PGP Public Key. Am I missing something? Does anyone know what that means? I'm afraid to ask anyone to help me test it out cause I'm not sure if what i'm inserting is my Private key string of jibberish.
Thanks for any help!
