Title: Things I think would improve the Silk Road user experience.
Post by: simplyanon on August 23, 2012, 02:13 am
SR-Staff--

* More than one picture. Hell, charge a small 25c fee or something to help offset the costs of storing them, if needed.

* Sort by price. Seriously. Why is this still not here?

* Multi language/Multi currency. If some half ass retail sites can show me prices in Euros so can SR.

* Bit Coin rate shown at the bottom of the page, or even the top, or the side. Anywhere works, really. =]

* This MtGix thing is getting to be overbearingly annoying.

* Buyer feedback and public blacklists would make many a vendors job easier.

SR-Vendors--

* The whole "No PGP No order" thing is just stupid. Really.

* STOP using the same damn picture for all of your listings. Please?

* Please don't be an asshole to your customers.

For the most part, vendors, you rock. I'm not one, so if this ^ makes me look like an ignoranus, I apologize.

SR-Buyers--

* Unless offered, don't ask for free samples. Seriously. Even I get annoyed by that.

* Update your fucking feedback before I punch you in the face.

* ANYTHING less than a 5/5 drops a vendors rating. If the guy got you your drugs and everything went well, don't leave him a 4/5 because he took too long to reply to a message you twat.

Annnnd that's about it. Add too it, or roll it up and smoke it.

Yeah, more pictures would be nice. And clickable pictures to see bigger versions is pretty essential. I want to see my drugs up close.

+1 for the sorting by price, also I think it would be better to have a sub-caterogie in subscription with Erectile Dysfunction meds and this would be again divided in viagra, cialis etc instead of having only one viagra subcategori where

What I also would find nice is a sorting of vendors by location p.e:NA,SA,Europe etc

some good ideas but it is very rare that they will make these changes it took a while just to redo the current site which would of been a good time to add some of these features oh well eventually

I think all of this is good except the no pgp no sale one that's a vendors choice you aren't forced to buy from a vendor that requires pgp that's probably for his and your security. But the BTC fluctuation thing is good, the sort by price thing is GREAT,the euro thing is cool. All of its good except the don't give people 4/5 ratings........If anything I think that people need to start giving 4/5 ratings. If we wanted some mediocre dumb ass to sell us drugs we would be on the streets.Money is being spent this should be conducted like business.I think there should be a more in depth review when you purchase something.Like professionalism, speed of delivery (of course depending on what shipping was used and where you are compared to where the vendor is),stealth, attitude, communication, quality of product, quality of packaging,ect.... because there's some vendors that have decent rep and god forbid someone comes on the forums saying they left a 3/5 because the vendor was an asshole and took 2 weeks to mark in transit because all of the buyers that are on the vendors nuts will flip shit on them and say its not his fault or that they're lying. Then buyers will be shocked and pissed that a vendor with almost all 5/5 ratings selectively scammed them, ignored there messages, marked in transit when it wasn't,lied repeatedly about when he/she would send it.Yeah mistakes happen and sometimes vendors try to do more than they are capable of but the vendors reviews should reflect that.Potential buyers should be aware of the fact that sometimes vendors try to do more than they can and end up fucking up peoples orders. They aren't perfect but business is business and everyone should be aware if a vendor has a record of getting overwhelmed with orders and then fucking everyones shit up.Because that pisses me of when people get a 5/5 and a comment like "yep took 2 weeks to get here from 2 states away but its alright" then another vendor gets his packages there in 2 days every single time. And I'm sure no one likes having money stuck in escrow and I'm sure that no one wants to pay significant amounts of money only to have the product arrive days or weeks later than advertised.

Amen pinkapples! If more buyers would take advantage of and utilize the rating system as it is set up the world (or the silk road anyway) would be a better place. Here's my hope for the future:

Although I personally feel that everyone should learn PGP and not learning it is just lazy and dangerous. I suppose it is a buyers right not to, but I would not fault a vendor for requiring that level of protection as I feel if someone doesn't have the willingness to act safely with encryption they likely will act unsafe with their product as well.

Ive read it and agree. But again like I said in another thread today a lot of those reviews on the vendors threads are from people who just picked up from there mailbox and excited that they finally got what they paid for and just leave a good review.I think people who are sold bunk shit should be reminded that a lot of people purchase based on the stats on the vendors page and that they can edit there reviews.I myself am guilty of being sold bullshit and instead of editing my review I go on the forums and rage so the vendor had a 5/5 after he sent me bunk MDMA.I think this happens more than people realize.Either way I think we need a new review system AND I think that people need to go back and edit the review if they are sold bullshit and they shouldn't be afraid to leave an honest review.A new review system would solve this problem as a lot of buyers are manipulated into accepting more or less bribes to change the review to a 5/5 and then the next buyer that comes along experiences the same shit and its just an unpleasant experience that could have been avoided by a better review system.

People need to stop leaving 5/5 feedback in cases when the item never showed up.

Feel bad about affecting their rating?  Then simply don't leave feedback at all.

Also, if more people left lower ratings that reflected the overall service as compared to the product itself, overtime the stigma of having anything less than a 97 would go away and be replaced by a more reasonable number.  (if 4/5 was the average score, for example, then a 90 would be great as compared to the poor position it has now)
