Title: A bit of help please?
Post by: locsmo on March 29, 2012, 06:42 pm
Hey,

First of all, Awesome site. I just found out about this today 8)
I don't really get this bitcoin stuff, I did some research and it looks like most things are way overpriced.
If my research was good, 1 bitcoin equals about 4 euro. Is this true?
I ain't gonna pay 12 euro for 1 gram of normal weed, I can get 1 gram of superlemonhaze for that in the coffeeshop(I'm dutch)
So can anyone explain the prices for me like what would i actually pay in euro's for something that costs 30 bitcoins?

4€ is too much, atm you can get them for about 3,70€ / BTC at bitmarket.eu
As they haven't got a fixed price, you can either take the risk to not spend them and make some profit (or loss) or spend them as fast as you can.

Okay,
But for example: Someone is selling 454 grams of weed for 569 bitcoins, that would be about 2100 euro.
So it is really that expensive? I thought when you buy a lot you get major discounts.

And what do you mean by not spend them, I don't have any yet:P
So it's a bit like stock, You can buy them for 3.70 and when they are worth 3.90 you sell them.

Prices depend on your vendor, sometimes you can get 50g of weed for 200€ (even from Germany :))
And yeah of course you need to buy them first to have an advantage when prices go higher :D
When BTC where new, one BTC did cost about 10 cent or something like that, short time after over 20€ per BTC, but those times are over =(
Damn dude, we could've been rich :D
