Title: how to find transaction number
Post by: Fluffyone on April 24, 2012, 01:49 am
Hi everyone,

I am trying to figure out how to find the transaction number for an order I placed in February.  Vendor ROXY is stating they need the transaction number to give me a refund, and I cannot find the transaction number since it was in febraury and my transaction history appears to only go back a month.  Any help is grealt appreciated thanks :)

probably going to have to contact SR to see if they can help you, the current system is set up so i dont think you have access once it leaves the short list on your acct page

Always msg yourself your transaction list after every purchase.

I have the same problem. Guess I'll have to contact SR Support about this too soon then :-/  I think I'll have to dispute some orders that never showed up, I was a new buyer and had to FE. Ive been unsure about doing it some time now because I dont have anything to tell the vendor besides "bought it like 2 months ago or so.." and hope they bother going thru all their orders around that time to find my little one (if they even stored my details) :/
I even stored the old transaction IDs and the links that I can find! but as of a few weeks ago or so, with the new system these links changed and its encoded somehow now.. so the old links and transaction numbers are now invalid/doesn't work.
I also can't see any of this old history in my account. The only traces I have after these orders are in the Feedback tab, where I can see the item name, seller, edit my feedback and see the date.
Think imma wait atleast another few days before bugging support to dig up my few small transactions hoping some easier solution comes up or something before then...
