I came across this on the Wall street Journal blog site.

EBay may open its wallet to the virtual currency Bitcoin.
The e-commerce heavyweight is exploring ways to integrate bitcoins into its PayPal payments network, Chief Executive John Donahoe said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.
“It’s a new disruptive technology, so, yeah, we’re looking at Bitcoin closely,” Donahoe said. “There may be ways to enable it inside PayPal.”
Now I hate Paypal but to be honest, that would be an amazing boom to bit coin and could be a HUGE boom to SR if bitcoin was as easy to get as going to paypal and buying them.
What you you think?

Oh yah they know BTC and crypocurrency in general is catching on like wildfire. They'd be remiss not to get set up to take it. Because if they don't it just leaves the door open for other payment processors, or for vendors to accept it directly -- and then paypal doesn't get to rape vendors with their large fees anymore.
