Title: can u dissolve crystal meth in propyl glycol?
Post by: dexichick on September 23, 2012, 11:36 pm
hi all

I'm wondering if crystal meth shards will dissolve in propyl glycol?

i know its water soluble but i want to dissolve some amphetamine and crystal meth in a liquid to make a 4:1 ratio of amphetamine to methamphetamine and i was thinking of using  propyl glycol as the liquid. i want to make a solution so that each 1 ml contains  40mg of amphetamine and 10mg of meth for oral use.

Yes, I think they would be. Propylene glycol should be able to have ion-dipole interactions with the Methamphetamine HCl. In addition, methamphetamine is held together weakly as a soft acid/hard base.
