Title: Do uk customs send letters for seized parcels?
Post by: Revolutionista on February 19, 2013, 11:39 am
Id just like to ask if anyone had received any love letters from uk customs recently?
Do they still send them or are they not sending them and just allowing the evidence to build?

UK customs usually only send out seizure letters for taxable goods like cigarettes, so you get the chance to pay the duty and get your goods.
If it's a banned item then you won't get a letter, any further action would depend on the amount and type of drug seized.

I have always had letters for seized goods, testosterone and HGH products, have never imported weed, coke or anything so dont know what they do when those get seized.

Yes, UK customs do send a letter - I've had one recently. :(
