The official word is that "The attack appears to be DDoS in nature and is likely an exploit at the Tor network level." Last night I tried to open Tor and got a brown-colored "You Are Not Configured for Tor" or words to that effect, which I'd never seen before. Of course, I just went ahead and logged on to SR anyway. I was able to read a new message, but was not able to answer it, nor get back on to SR due to the DDos attacks.
But now I wonder if my account has been hacked, courtesy my own log-in via a non-Tor page. On the other hand, why would hackers blatantly tell you that the page they created was non-Tor?
