I've noticed the check box for 'green address" on Instawallet seems to have vanished. Does anyone know what's up with this? Nothing on the site mentions the change, and the FAQ hasn't changed.

Yeah the green address check box is gone.
Anybody's used instawallet recently?

I placed a get-bitcoin order RIGHT before the shutdown.
Needless to say, I was pretty freaked at first (had to email get-bitcoin) and by the time they replied Instawallet was under new management and old wallets still worked. The order hasn't been filled yet, so I will just have to wait and see how this goes when I get them.

Maybe they've since updated the FAQ:
Q: What is the green address feature?
A: By selecting this option, your transaction will only use coins from a specific Instawallet address: 1CDysWzQ5Z4hMLhsj4AKAEFwrgXRC8DqRN. By looking for this "green address", others can verify that this transaction was created by Instawallet. This allows for fast verification in situations where the receiver trusts that Instawallet transactions are legit. This feature is currently free of charge. More details can be found in the announcement thread.
Note: The site is currently experiencing problems with this feature. Transactions are sometimes not executed completely in high load situations. It is therefore disabled on the website until this problem is resolved. It is still available through the API, but I would advice against using it at the moment.

This is a shame because using different entities' green addresses was a primitive way of mixing your coins. The API is still available so if it's public and you're comfortable with using it that's an option still.

Used instawallet 2 days ago, worked fine. Although I never did check the green address box.

I used it today to tumble my funds before getting them to SR without problem too
