Title: QUESTION ABOUT VENDORS
Post by: pinkapples88 on October 01, 2012, 05:34 pm
Hey I just ordered a package from a vendor that I will keep anonymous. He let my order sit in processing for 4 days before I canceled the order after he lied about when the package would be sent out AND when it would arrive so I figured it would just be easier and a smarter idea if I would just cancel the order and go to a different vendor. Now that I canceled the order he says that he wants me to put the order in again because he already sent the package. Is it possible that he read my address and sent it out before it was marked in transit? I thought that you couldnt see the address unless marked in transit for security purposes. If not please let me know any vendor that would have some insight on the matter would help.I really just want to know if hes being honest and sincere this time so I know if I need to go get some more BTC to get this figured out.I didn't want to accuse him of lying and say that he couldn't see my address until he marked it in transit unless I knew that for sure. Thanks to anyone ahead of time if they can help me out.

Well I was going to try to keep his name to only his review thread because I didn't want to go on other threads and complain too.But that comment didn't really help man.I just want to know if he could see my address before it was marked "in transit". That's all this thread is for its not a thread to list the pros and cons of the vendor that's why I said I would keep it anonymous. But I guess the cats out of the bag now and everyone knows ha but back to the original question, can a vendor see your address before he changes your order to in transit?

Your question doesn't even make any sense. Obviously he can see your address before he marks it in transit. How are you supposed to mail something to somebody and have it be "in transit" without their address?

I don't know that's what I was asking I'm not a vendor so I don't know if they click in transit when they're putting the address on it and putting it in transit and it only shows up after they mark it in transit or if they can look at your address and the in transit button is just there so the vendor can let you finalize the order.

I'll make it real simple. The second it marks it as an order for you it goes into processing. During processing, we can see your A. buyer stats and B. address.

From there, after we go to the post office or drop it in the blue bins, we then are supposed to mark said item in transit. Obviously this vendor didn't comply with the rules, or he's lying and trying to pull a fast one on you.

Thanks for the answer dude I think he is just trying to bullshit me though because he was suppose to ship out last Thursday using express shipping and I didn't cancel til Monday morning so I know he didn't read my address Monday so if he really did ship it out Thursday,Friday,or Saturday with express shipping it would have been here by now.

Yup. Should've been at your doorstep if you paid for express shipping. Unfortunately I wouldn't be too happy if I were you. This vendor either has your address stored somewhere outside of SR, or he put it in transit and never bothered writing your address down, as he was most likely planning on scamming you.

I've been keeping VERY close tabs on delivery boy. I will tell you right now there's a 95% chance he will turn into a full fledged scammer. He falsely advertises his product. That right there tells me he's money thirsty and has no regard for the consumer. Here's the only rating I need to judge off of.

"I bought 3.5 grams from him of the brainstorm haze. (supposed to be "super potent", "Very loud")
His packaging was terrible, looked like someone bought it off the street and through it in a priority envelope.
The weed was terrible, it was all shake, smalls end of the bag type stuff.
Didn't smell like anything, taste like anything and didn't get me high period.
I actually threw it out.  His communication was good and offered to send me 1 gram of skywalker to make up for it.
I declined and decided to call it a day."

you just had it backward, once they mark it in transit they can no longer access your address
