I dont know if any one has ever heard of this but you basically take LSD and there is another step where you convert it to ALD-52. It is supposed to be at least as potent if not more potent than LSD and it is also a more mellow trip a relaxing LSD Trip in a phrase. It is what was said to be sold as orange sunshine in the 60s as well. If any one has access to this or can get it I would be willing to buy it. Thanks for you time and energy peace love and karma points

I too, would be a customer.

no way this is going to happen.
ppl who can make lsd will sell it as lsd. It is not worth the money since ald is not popular.
Im not sure that lsd is made anymore to be honest. Pickard filled up the supplies with a kilo per week. We are still eating that!

There were tons of blotters and tablets of LSD, DOM, PCP were called orange sunshine but it was mainly referred to LSD.
Anyway the extra step from LSD isn't worth it because ALD-52 can revert back to LSD pretty easy.

I wouldn't mind this either.
Also the 'converting to LSD' thing is about the same chance as 4-Aco-DMT converting to psilocin. It does happen in the body but the effects are still different.

Dreams of being in the research group. Aah.

According to Shulgin, in TIHKAL:
ALD-52. 1-Acetyl-N,N-diethyllysergamide. This material has been explored in the 50-175 microgram range and there are a number of human trials reported, with varying conclusions. One found that there was less visual distortion than with LSD and it seems to produce less anxiety and was somewhat less potent than LSD. Another report claimed it was more effective in increasing blood pressure. Yet another could not tell them apart. ALD-52 just may have been the drug that was sold as "Orange Sunshine" during the "Summer of Love" in the late '60's. Or "Orange Sunshine" may have been, really, LSD. This was the focus of a fascinating trial where two defendants were accused of distributing LSD, whereas they claimed that it was ALD-52 which was not an illegal drug. The prosecution claimed that as it hydrolyses readily to LSD, for all intents and purposes it was LSD, and anyway, you had to go through the illegal LSD to get to ALD-52 by any of the known chemical syntheses. The defendants were found guilty. And yet, I do not know who has actually measured the speed or ease of that reaction. If ALD-52 hydrolyses so easily to LSD, and the body is indeed a hydrolytic instrument, then these two drugs should be absolutely equivalent in every particular, This is the ergot equivalent of the psilocybin to psilocin argument, except this is an acetamide rather than a phosphate ester.
There are other LSD analogues which look quite interesting. A few years ago, there was a bunch of AL-LAD making the rounds, but I didn't manage to get any. Hopefully some enterprising chemist will have a crack at it :)
AL-LAD (TIHKAL #1): (with 150 µg) "I felt it in less than a quarter hour, and was shooting up past a +++ in another quarter hour. Fast. Just like LSD but without the vaguely sinister push. A little time slowing, randy, no body disturbance. Dropping at six hours and totally tired and going to sleep at twelve hours. I will repeat."
(with 150 µg) "Simply beautiful. Erotic and music absorption after second hour. Clear thinking with superb imagery and good interpretation. Easy, gentle sleeping. Next day -- serene, clear-thinking peacefulness. One of the best materials ever."

I am very interested in buying ALD-52 or any other LSD analog as well! And LSD itself of course

Ald-52 probably converts to LSD in your body and to make it you must first have LSD.
It was a way for chemists in the 60's to try to get around the drug laws, but I don't see why anyone would make it today, they will just stop at LSD.

subbing, I'd be interested in any LSD analogues

There could be more to this, for instance, with a drug like psilocybin, being phosphorylated might not make a difference, because it is active at the site which is taken. By acetylating LSD, you are putting a layer of protection on the LSD, making storage easier, increasing potency, and perhaps even decreasing the come-up time, because acetylated molecules reach the brain more easily and quickly. At least that is my understanding, the old hippies say that Sand and his partner discovered that ALD-52 is, in fact, extremely stable, as in stable at room temp for months with almost nothing, so much so that it took the government 4 years to get an appreciable amount of it to hydrolyze back into LSD. It also might give a different result if tested by the authorities, and possibly(slight chance) depending on the region, it might be legal or at least not scheduled in some places. I personally think it is the stability issue, because more hits stay good = more money. They probably had the legal thing in their back pocket, but most chemists try to make the absolute best product they can, especially fanatical, idealistic ones.
