Bumping is when a person or someone else replies to a post to get it back to the top of the forum page so people can see it. Sense all the spamming pages get replied so often people often have to bump their post to get it back to the top of the forum page.

Subbed means they subscribed to you. I didn't know you could subscribe to people on SRF but if someone subs that means they will be alerted (Usually) to any posts you make. Or subscribing to a forum post so they will be alerted to every reply the post gets.

i don't know what everyone's talking about here. Bump is just someone saying they just sniffed a small amount of coke.

If it is in the newbie forums it is probably someone trying to get to 50 posts...  ;)

I can understand your question, someone on here keeps posting 'bump' in all the newbie threads trying to get to 50 posts. It's just what they're doing to get their 50 posts. Normally though right you would use that if you didn't get a response in a reasonable amount of time, you put a post in 'bump' so that it goes to the top of the list.

it means you are putting it to the top of the page. the most recent replies are first on the page, so any reply "bumps" it.
