Title: Emsam for depression - > lack of MAO-A Selectivity and Oral DMT
Post by: Ensine99 on October 05, 2012, 12:27 am
So due to a case of chronic depression I have access to MAOIs for the depression. (SSRIs and NDRIs don't work for me)
While I was reading about the available MAOIs I saw one called Emsam which is Selegiline that is applied via an arm patch.
My question is that since the patch apparently doesn't cause the prevention of digestive tract MAO-A selectivity. As such would this result in dmt not being active while taken orally?
Anyone know more about the subject? Or have experiance taking MAOIs especially Emsam for depression?
