Title: Silk Road Marketplace: Vendors tell your story!
Post by: Drugs Inc. on November 27, 2012, 05:24 pm
Drugs, Inc. is  an internationally syndicated  documentary television series on the National Geographic Channel and NatGeo World that explores global narcotics production and trafficking. The series features drug dealers, recreational users, and addicts, as well as professionals in the fields of substance abuse, drug rehabilitation, and criminal justice.

We are looking to interview Silk Road vendors and customers for an upcoming episode in our series.

Please send us an email to pressroom@ngs.org, attention: J. Mosley in the subject,  letting me know if you are a vendor or buyer, what type of items you buy or vend, and how long have you've been on Silk Road.  Your privacy and anonymity will be closely guarded.

J. Mosley,
Associate Producer Drugs Inc.

Please do not do a show about SR.

This place has enough publicity. Plus its full of scams anyway and no one actually receives product.

Do a story on BMR. I hear that place is the shiznit.

Yeah this site is actually just a parody of the BMR.  Plus how would you verify someone's story anyway.

For this to be authentic they should be contacted by a scammer who has nothing to do with SR, claiming to be the sr-kingpin, telling some BS story that's all fake and collect some $$$ for it at the end. That would be accurate lol ;D

If they don't get trolled I'd be really disappointed in this community!

I mean..  How can someone be certain that their anonymity will be guarded by these clowns??

Why don't they just get actors like they usually do anyways?

If anybody is thinking about working with them, please take note, they can't guarantee privacy/anonymity. A judge can subpoena your identity and anything they know about you from them if they know it. If they refuse to comply, they can be jailed indefinitely until they release that information. So even if they have the best intentions (not an LE trap) then they are powerless against a subpoena for your information. An example is the show American Underworld, where the journalist got arrested and intimidated by LE to reveal the information on the people he interviewed.

They will if we want them to or not, so either troll them hard or send a non-moron. They probably offer money, so someone will do it for sure. The masses demand this stuff. They want SR to be gone and their kids getting shot at again in the streets while getting some weed. :)

Actually, a journalist cannot be compelled to give up their sources. Google "deep throat" (the washington whistleblower, NOT the porno)

This.  Although I do have respect for Nat Geo as a magazine and their documentaries, it is in the best interest of everyone  who likes the way things are, to keep quiet and neither confirm or deny a thing to ANYONE.

What's a more realistic consequence of this is not a shit ton of LEOs on here, but a bunch of people signing up and browsing just to check it and slowing the servers down to glacial speed. Please don't.

Please don't. There's no story here. Why don't you report on BMR instead? SR doesn't need any more gawkers.

By the way, BMR stands for Black Market Reloaded. They are a much better story than Silkroad. Silkroad only copied their innovative model.

FWIW the only vendors I see on TV are those telling their story in orange jumpsuits.

my biggest concern would be kids getting on here after they saw it on television, and then what?  I do enjoy watching the series though.  It has a whole lot of exaggerated statistics.  I guess makes for better TV.

There will be some dumb shit who will not be able to resist their 15 minutes of fame and will do this.  Just remember...the more attention you bring, the more you risk your business (making money) or our source of drugs (if you are a buyer).

Is it worth the risk? No.  Leave it be, do not assist this story.

If I see a vendor's handle on the show, I would never give them another coin of mine and would encourage SR to ban them from the site.

Everything we do here is predicated on taking measured steps to preserve ourselves and this community.  And someone contributing to this story is risking it for themselves and the rest of us.

Why's everyone badmouthing SR? Wasn't SR before BMR, therefore BMR is a parody of SR, and to that guy who says SR is "full of scams and no one gets their product" you're a dumbass, plain and simple....How do you explain my 100% rating and 5/5 feedback on 200 transactions?? Asshole, how dare you...

BMR is so much more true to the game, and hardcore.  We want them to get it right.  No point in them wasting their time on a bunch of posers...  geez     ;)

To the OP -  Running a story on where to buy drugs is stupid.  Leave it for people to find if they are so inclined to find it. By running a story on it you are promoting illegal activity and potentially introducing minors to things they should not be doing. For what? You can't expose SR and shut it down, can you? Even if you expose SR to the masses, LE still won't be any more capable of shutting it down. You aren't being a hero, all you will achieve is to promote where people can buy something that (your employer at least) thinks they should be in jail for possessing.

If you must do this story, just label the site "a dark net" site or something equally vague. Naming this site, or how to use Tor to buy drugs in a mass media publication is plain irresponsible.

Anyone who watches Drug Inc. should know all the dealers who are showed on it are idiots for giving their identity to somebody for "fame"

Please do a documentary on the failed drug war, instead of focusing on the thugs you portray.

Oh this is just a fantastic idea Mr mosby(or w/e your name was).

Should I contact your RIGHT now through a clear-web email?

Or should I send you many pics of my products that I offer and my location so we could have a chat, face to face(camera)?

Oh that sounds like a MARVELOUS idea, Mr mosby!

Oh come on!
How stupid do you think we are? Why the hell would anyone contact you?...

Problem is, this is a real show.  Have seen many episodes.  Nothing good will come from the episode they will do on SR.  It will bring the heat.  Any M'fer helping that end should be beaten.  Can't wait to see some low life dbag dishing on SR.  Just f'ing wonderful.

I can imagine an idiot punk kid will want to be infamous amongst his friends and will sign up (hopefully will get busted too), but if any vendor is dumb enough to share and thus risk their income by exposing SR, should get hit by a train.

Oh come on!

Go fuck yourselves Drugs Inc.

Your show spews nothing but government propaganda. I have watched everyone of your episodes. They are filled with disinformation and feature the scum of the world.
Every episode focuses on the alleged ills of drugs. It is not balanced. It is slanted heavily in favor of prohibition.
Hence why Nat Geo airs the program.

You people are sick. Put a gun in your mouth and pull the trigger. No seriously. Buy a gun, load it, cock it, place it in your mouth and pull the trigger.

No one here is going to give you any information to enable you to induce fear into the masses about Silk Road.
This place is a godsend for educated drug-users.

Listen to the other posters, BMR is a much better option. You pathetic fucking maggots.

They'll sensationalise any old shit to fit whatever the editorial agenda is of there paper/tv station and as most press harp on about TEH WAR ON RUGS and RUGS KILL! and TAKE AN E AND FUCKING DIE! then this clown is here to push his moralistic christian based capatalist bullshit neo con right wing fucking zionist crap. I wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire. Seriously. Never speak to these clowns. By their very nature they are always one step behind the dialectic.

It's not worth your time, Drugs Inc.   This site is really waste of time... All people here are scammers anyway... You should go to the real site - Black Market Reloaded
