I bought Bitcoins and sent them to my SR address which I saved in the Bitcoin client.
The address I sent to is DEFINITELY the one I used for previous purchases.
I then check my account and the address is totally fucking different!?
WHAT THE FUCK!?
-
yeah you lost all...
cool down buddy your adresses change every deposit and the previous is still active...drink a cup tea and check in a few hours again

This will be a relief to hear, but the guy above is correct

same thing happened to me the other day. ended up going to some inactive account. don't worry. support was quick to resolve the issue

Don't fret. You probably didn't lose any money. As said above, your BTC address changes after every transaction. However, older addresses can still be used. I bet funds will show up quickly, the BTC network needs some time to process transactions.

Ok this is just a noob question Ive NEVER had a single bitcoin sent to my SR account because I spent about a month or two looking up what domestic and non domestic vendors I trust and the whole entire mail thing sounded sketchy at first but after researching it well I decided to go and buy some bitcoins and make my first purchases.I only bought 6 bitcoins and its been about 16 hours since I sent the bitcoins to the address that is on my SR account. But ive waited and waited and I have 0 bitcoins still.Am I going to get them??? Im sorry Im new to this and I am fiending to buy some things!

Did you send them from your own wallet?
When did you install the wallet? If you only just installed the wallet it will take hours for it to download the entire block chain it requires BEFORE it can send anything.
If you are using the standard bitcoin wallet, look at the status bar on the bottom. The number of blocks should be around 182000. Until that happens, nothing is going in or out.

I had this problems too, your Bitcoin wallet needs to catch up to the present, check the icons at the bottom of your wallet screen and hover the pointer over them, they should tell you how many blocks are left to download and how many days it has to upload.

I got them ;D it took a full 48 hours ( 48 EXACT) but I got 17 bitcoins and I blew it already haha
