You really shouldn't click on links so here's the title to Google:
Neurophysiological & Psychological Mechanisms of Entactogens in Psychotherapy - Torsten Passie, M.D.
An intriguing video about MDMA in psychotherapy.
I wish this was possible in the U.S.A..
I think in a perfect world I would be able to destroy my ego with LSD (maybe in combination with minimal therapy), and later go through this MDMA psychotherapy.
I have excessive emotional self control, trouble feeling and expressing true emotion, and trusting anyone to truly express myself with. This in combination with a grocery list of other stuff kind of has me at the end of my rope.
I found the doctor's comment at the end very impressive: That the popular culture for mental health is against less self control, is for avoiding intense emotion, and is against physical touch. Ha! So true and sucks 2 b me.
So I wanted to share the video because I found it intriguing; But furthermore:
Any comments regarding entactogens or hallucinogens as a tool for personal growth / positive mental change would be cool. I'm curious if I could actually make any helpful change using MDMA, and less-so LSD, without a doctor.

Sub-active doses of MDMA over a long period is actually the most effective treatment for major/clinical depression, PTSD, and other social anxiety disorders.
It's properties are somewhat magical... At lab quality it is completely non-neurotoxic... But we all know that's a hard thing to achieve ;) Most of the time you see MDMA max out a certain purity and that is due to binders within the synth.
Enjoy responsibly,
