BitInstant.com
cash deposit > bitcoin to email
cash deposit > mtgox
Only two I've tried and haven't had many problems at all, once in a while there might be a delay, but other than that I've received my BTC each and every time.

localbitcoins.com
It's excellent.

Moneygram to Mt. Gox via BitInstant. This is by far the best method, IMHO.
It's literally instantaneous, as soon as you send the moneygram it goes through.

A vote for LocalBitCoins.com.

I recently used Bitme.com and was pretty pleased with it. They don't charge much at all...just .05 BTC to withdraw your coins. You can fund your account there a few different ways, either with a cash deposit at Chase, bank account, or AurumXchange. The cash deposit is super nice. They didn't ask for any personal info. I did have to email them a picture of my receipt before my funds cleared, so I might recommend doing that if you need them quickly.
Anyway, I recommend Bitme.com. Easy to use, anonymous, and fast.

For europe I recommend bitstamp. Send money through SEPA ( bank transfers within europe- free and faster than usual international transfers) almost zero fees, really satisfied with them.

Virwox isn't too bad. You get your BTCs in your account in about 2 hours. Hope this helps ;D

By fat the easiest, quickest, and cheapest way I've found is to use bitinstant.com and do a cash deposit straight to my bitcoin address (I use instawallet).
I think pretty much any place that has Moneygram can be used to do it. All you do is use the option on bitinstant for cash deposit to bitcoin address, enter in the deposit info and where you want to make a deposit in your area (it gives you the option search for places near you) and it'll create a deposit slip. Your computer will automatically download a pdf file of the slip that you can either print out or just use to copy down the account number and amount to pay.
When you get to the Moneygram place (I just use CVS) they'll have a red phone near the Moneygram counter which you'll pick up and it'll then automatically dial. Just follow their touch tone directions, one of the most important being that you're making a BILL PAYMENT. That's pretty much the only thing that's not self-explanatory, everything else will just be asking you to give them the account number on your deposit slip, phone number, etc. Also when it asks how much the payment is for, make sure it's the amount INCLUDING the $3.95 that they (ZipZap) charges you.
After the red phone business is done which takes approx 5 minutes, it'll automatically end the call and then you just go up to the register and tell them your making a bill payment and that you just confirmed it on the phone. They'll know what you're talking about and the order will come up on thir screen and then you pay the cashier. They'll print out 2 receipts for you, ask you to sign one, and that's it!
The money literally only takes a few minutes to get deposited into your bitcoin wallet, it's awesome! I've done this 3 times so far and it's worked better than any other method I've used. It's also cheap, they only charge you a 3.99% exchange fee and a $3.95 ZipZap fee on top of that which really doesn't add up to much. To deposit $100 only costs about 7 or 8. I also like that I can do this at CVS's and Walmarts and don't have to worry about if the bank's open or not (I can deposit on Sundays!).
So yeah, I know the way I wrote this might have made it seems somewhat complex but trust me, it's not at all. I just want to be as thorough as possible in my explanation in case anybody wants to use this post as a guide for using this method. Feel free to ask me if you have any more questions.

You can also just fill out a few lines on a form and hand it to them and skip the phone bullshit. Takes about a minute.

So question about bitinstant and moneygram. Would anything seem weird or raise eyebrows if I was to use it to get like 3k in BC? I have been wanting to dump some cash in but haven't really figured out a decent way.

The moneygram at walmart is super fast, just fill out the paper and hand it to the cashier. No having to use phones or show ID, usually takes less than 5 minutes. Money is deposited immediately to my mt. gox account, not sure about email though.

Why the need to dump so much in at once? I would only deposit what is necessary, at the time being.

cash deposit with Moneygram set up through Blockchain.info wallet
Last time I made a deposit it was $14.15 per BTC after all fees.
