Title: LSD Storage Methods
Post by: butteredtoast on May 21, 2013, 10:41 pm
I was thinking a good method would be double or triple wrapping it in foil, and putting it in the middle of a hardcover book, then stacking  a few heavy books on top, and placing it into a safe in room that stays about 50-60 degrees Fahrenheit.

What do you think? Is this a safe method? I've never had any in my possession before and want to make it last at least 6+ months.

I want to avoid the freezer.

Sounds good! I would also wrap the foil with some plastic wrap, jut to try to keep some of the air out, or maybe put it in a small ziplock bag.

Good idea, I will wrap the foil with a layer or two of plastic wrap and place it back inside the book!

Never heard of that. Explain? Or is it safe to Google?

"A desiccant is a hygroscopic substance that induces or sustains a state of dryness (desiccation) in its local vicinity in a moderately well-sealed container."

Like the silica gel they put in shoes.

I would highly recommend the freezer, though.  LSD decays faster at higher temperatures.  0C with no air and no light (like you have it) would be best.
