Hey everyone. Quick question here, if I FE do I not get to see if my package has shipped? Like do I not get to see the status of my order anymore?
-
Do not FE!
-
First of all NEVER FE...ever. If a vendor makes you FE because of the rapidly fluctuting costs of the bitcoin(or at least use that as an excuse) inform him of escrow heding which is a silk road service which takes 4% of the order cost and if the bitcoin goes up in value they get less BTC, if it goes up they get more.
Another reason would be a huge order, the fact that you are asking me this question tells me that you aren't making a huge order and if you are...dont'.
Anyways to get back to the topic at hand, no.
When you finalize your order has been processed, it's gone. Over.
You aren't even allowed to finalize until after the vendor marks it "shipped" anyways.
But never ever ever FE, the escrow system is all that is protecting you from a greedy or untrustworthy vendor saying "fuck off".

After the vendor marks it in transit you can FE and then you see nothing. After you FE the vendor has your money and doesn't have to do shit (this includes that he doesn't even have to send you your product). I'd say never FE.

Many thanks to all for this information!
-
so you wouldnt even FE on your first order only?
-
No I wouldn't FE even on your first order. The silk road admins will deal with any disputes fairly.
-
something to keep in mind then, cheers!

why is FE permitted on SR at all?
