Any chance of doing this off the Road?
I'm fairly sure in the US you have to fill out a form whenever you buy gold, regardless of where it is.
About the only thing I that comes to mind is buying gold or silver necklaces, as far as I know those don't require any paperwork.

Thought you only had to fill stuff out when you sell it....

This should clear up your questions. Caution CLEARNET LINK http://goldsilver.com/article/privacy-facts-on-selling-gold-silver-irs-1099-form/

Thanks for the info.
Disappointing to see gold is so limited (although not really surprising).

No problem!

I bought 6.25oz gold in 1 order with the vendor 'gold' everything went smooth and the gold is legit. I would buy from gold again and I am considering it actually because hes got some krugarands listed, one of my fav gold coins!
thanks gold your a valuable asset to the SR community!
If anyone needs any personal advice about buying from the vendor 'gold' or if you would like me to share in detail my 1st hand experiences buying from him just shoot me a PM. I am always happy to help other users make the most informed decisions possible.
