Title: How am I here on my mobile phone, this feels dangerous
Post by: frogsaver on July 24, 2013, 04:51 am
I was googling something on my phone when a silk road link showed up, so I clicked it and it routed me through tors website but I didn't DL for. Then I went straight to the road from my mobile phones stock browser app... I thought it was only accessible through tor for safety. I have never bought anything from the sr, nor do I have an account there but these forums interest me and I thought it was strange I was able to get here from my phones browser

It's called onion.to which is a proxy allowing people to get on torified onion sites.

It is completly unsafe to use for any illegal purpose as everything is logged. If your just browsing or reading the forums there should be no issue

This, and google indexes these forums using onion.to. Everything you write here is very public
