when a vendor supplies a tracking number but also requires FE.. does the buyer FE before a tracking number is received, or after?
i placed an order with a vendor with a tracking number but he also requires FE... i emailed him asking him when i should FE (before or after i receive my tracking number)
im just wondering what the general consensus is on this...

general consensus= DON'T FE... or know the risk involved... There isn't another vendor to deal with that will leave it in Escrow? I have FE but also knew the risk , thinking back I might not use the Vendor again because SR couldn't help me if the package got lost I would of been at the mercy of the vendor. BTW in this case the Vendor even states don't ask for the tracking number for 10 days as the order should;d be at your door with no need to track!

Normally you FE before you will get your tracking number because in order to get the tracking number he has to send the item and he aint gonna do that till you finalize apparently but beware.... if you dont mind me asking which vendor is it

Any vendor who asks you to FE, will not typically be the type to send you something before being paid, be it the actual product (which wouldn't be FE), or a tracking number. If they do send you the tracking, it will probably be either minutes before the order goes to In Transit, or minutes after.
The fact is--don't Finalize Early. Money is escrow is money belonging to the vendor, as long as the vendor satisfies SR Support, if it comes to that. Reputable vendors realize this, and build their business around utilizing escrow and being reliable. If you are buying from a reputable vendor, then as soon as your funds are in escrow, they are no longer yours (with rare exceptions). If you try to scam the vendor, the reputable vendor will probably still end up getting your funds. Although reputable vendors tend to be more helpful to those rare problems.
Just don't FE.
I too will ask, will you disclose the vendors name?
