-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA512
I will only explain the entire situation to a verified admin, or show the signed messages/ traffic, to validate my story, however..
I ordered 10g of weed last Tuesday (9d ago), and as has usually happened with this vendor, the vendor had a problem decrypting my gpg traffic (I use gpg on linux, with strong algos and a custom config) . So the vendor informed me on Thursday, that he could not decrypt. I then re-encrypted the shipping address and asked if the vendor received. The vendor indicated that he could not decrypt my traffic (other vendors have no issue, and I use gpg daily with many others with no issue) so I re-encrypted the messages a third time. Another two day delay, and he asked if I wanted to cancel. So instead of encrypting to his pubkey, I used a password (symmetric encryption) via gpg -csa, gave him the password, and posted the ciphertext on privnote. No response. Now when sr went 2x or so, I switched to tormail, encrypted/signed a message to him, and asked about the status of the order, and if sr's downtime would affect the order in any way. The vendor then responded with " You should have today, at the latest tomorrow." , (This was on Monday, Mar. 25). When sr came back up, I quickly checked the order status and it was still "processing". So the option to finalize had went away, and resolve was also not an option, (hence why i am here), my only option in the "orders" page was "cancel" , and as I had received an email from the vendor, I beleived that the package had been sent. It usually takes 48 hours for the vendor's packages to reach me, and I have had several (3-5) good orders despite the vendor having technical dificulties at times. I then asked the vendor if the package had been shipped, and what the status was, no answer.. I then very politely stated that the vendor had taken a long time to answer my messages, and that the delay the previous week had led to my weed shortage, however I understand that the vendor might have their own life issues , and that gpg was irritating, and that I was dissapointed in how the vendor had dealt with this order, I was still a fan of the product, and I did not want to sour relations, but I did want to know when the order was sent, and if it was sent, I would not cancel the order as he deserved to be paid for his product. This message to him was clearsigned as well, and he responded by getting angry and stating that "
I suggest you find some other vendor. Since you're not happy with the service I provide you should look elsewhere.
I do need an address to be able to deliver you know..."
as well as stating that my gpg messages were not properly formatted. (In my gpg.conf I employ the "no-emit-version" option to hide my gpg version / os information , which does not affect the ciphertext / decryption in any adverse way). I explained this to him, as well as showed him the output of gpg --list-packets, and how my messages are perfectly formatted. I also asked the vendor, about his email to me (he was able to decrypt my message to him to reply and say that "You should have it today, at the latest tomorrow" ). I also asked him about the privnote link, (it was accessed) , and he had the password to decrypt that ciphertext msg'd to him on sr. So I politely explained my position again, that it does not take 8 days to send a package that takes 2 days from shipping to receiving, and that my problem was not in his product, it was in his lack of communication. I said that I was disappointed in how he had handled the order, and given the amount of time that has elapsed, I would ask for either more product in, or some money back to compensate for the time delay, and I thanked him again for his quality product, and his proffesionalism.
Lastly, I asked him about his email, and he would not confirm if the package was in the mail, and I reminded him of the sr rules " ( http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Seller's_Guide#Things_to_avoid
"Below is a short list of specific things you should avoid. It is by no means exhaustive, but taking any one of these actions could get your seller priviledges revoked:
Claiming to have sent an order when you haven't " "
and I explained that I trusted his words, and beleived him when it would come on monday, or at the latest on tuesday. The vendor did not respond, except defensively, and I have not used the vendors name, nor sent any of the clearsigned messages here, but I am not sure what my options are, and I would prefer not to be blacklisted, or piss anyone off. I do feel as if I have wasted 8 days , and put $200.00 at risk, to simply end up with nothing in the end, and I ask if the vendor did violate the rule by lying on when the package was sent. If dpr or an admin that I can verify pm's me (preferably on sr, but the forums work as well) I wold be glad to show all comms, as evidence. I do not like writing on the forums, nor making a scene, but the vendor has the ability to blacklist me, and all I really have as protection are my signed messages and my pubkey to verify my story. The vendor did cancel the order, and I did get the funds back, however I am still displeased with how the vendor treated me, and I have a decent track record (member for 2 months, 20 transactions, $564 spent ) and I use gpg for *every* transaction. I have done business with this vendor before, almost weekly, and the trust and bad blood being hurt by this deal is not worth $200 dollars, and 10 grams of weed. Since resolution was never an available option on this order, and this didn't seem important enough to pm DPR directly about, I take it here. What do you guys/girls make of this?
