I've always been interested in this too, never really wanted to do it. But I was always curious.

I don't know how to steal cable/satellite; however, I know how you can split the bill very easily.  Satellite is very safe to do this, and cable is fairly safe.

For satellite you just need to simply install a dish, point it properly, and plug in a working box from a friends account and boom you're on.

Same thing with cable in most markets.  If you have a hot line coming into the house you can take a box from one account in the same metro area and plug it in a line coming into a different house and be fine.  This is what I have done for the last 18 months.

The only thing about cable is if they wanted to they could tell that the boxes are at different locations.
The only thing about satellite is they *may* charge more if you don't have it plugged into the Internet or a phone line (so they can tell if the boxes are at the same location or not), and if you have never pointed a satellite dish before it can be tricky.

A few years ago I had a Pansat 9200 - Every Dish Network and BEV (canada's Sat provider) channel you could think of.  It was the best fucking thing on the planet.  Then, Nagara 3 came out, and ruined my life.  You can still get it done, but you have to connect to the web, which means you can be traced.  Google is your friend, use it.  It does work, but I wouldn't risk it - I think the down time is outrageous, and you typically still have to pay to a private pool to get access to their keys.

The good ole days though, the best 600 bucks I ever spent.  I got 2 full years of every HD PPV event, porn, even a channel that (if I remember) was called Pirate TV - all it said - 24hrs per day -  "If you are receiving this message, you are pirating satellite television - if you call us now, we won't ask any questions, and will hook you up legitimately"  Hilarious!

i would like this too, I think with FTA u can get dish but without being able to program yourself it is a waste of time because they go down a lot.  I remember a blackbird fta box and BelVu and i also got all channels. I miss the days of the H card and directv. I too had every possible channel for the longest time :(

yes it is IKS and totally secure I have been using it for 3 yrs now no problem sometimes just them updating security

best way is go to Ebay buy a used Nfusion Solaris receiver ($60)
buy a bell dish ($15) 4 LNB(119,110,91,82 these are the sats you want) cost about ($60 for all 4 LNB's)
www.ftazeta.com -membership ( $30)

someone to mount and setup LNB's you have to find usually $50

i think this is called cardsharing. It's quite simple, i don't know how it works in the states, but you can use it here for DVB-C (cable) as well as DVB-S (sat). to just prove how blatantly this is sold take a look at http://www.bestcardshare.com/, they sell packages for individuals but also for resellers, they share the cards via proxies over the internet and advertise their illegal reselling on google ads! (at least they used to)

Good to hear its still around and working.  How often do you have to update software / keys / etc on the box or whatever.  When it goes down, how long is it down for on average and how frequently does it go down?

Also, what's a good supported HD box? or is HD support on IKS servers limited?

Man do any of you remember in the mid 90's/early 2000's when cable boxes had the card you put in the front of the box? I remember being able to pay a cable dude 50 bucks to program that card and unlocking every channel there was. But shit dude, most of these dudes that contract for Comcast, Direct and Dish love to make money on the side. Really all you have to do is catch one, bribe em with 50 or 100 buck and they'll run a cable line straight to the house. It may eventually get cut off but that usually takes about 6 months.
