Hey guys, i have been hearing that Tor is not as safe as we all think!!! Your ISP can still see that you go on Tor, and for how long! This is definitely not a good thing... obviously it is not illegal to use Tor. But do you even want to be associated with it if you dont need to be? I sure dont, i know there is a vendor that sells a cracked version, but i am not sure how legit it is and want some advice from some more knowledgeable people.
Thanks!

You could run a VPN which ALL your internet traffic goes through. Your ISP can't tell you're on TOR then. I hear privateinternetaccess.com is good and they accept bitcoins as payment so it can be purchased anonymously.
Added benefit of being able to geo-locate, so if a given website or service doesn't allow users from a certain country, you can change and connect to your VPN in a number of other country's.

Use a VPN. There is a good article somewhere out there listing VPNs rated based on privacy protection in particular, I think techdirt or wired or some similar site produced it. You'll have to search but they're usually under $10/mo.

I can vouch for a good vpn. nvpn.net. You can stay anonymous (pay with btc) and they don't keep ANY user logs.
