I think that at the exact same time I was sitting at my PC taking to DPR about something in relation to the site, he said some things which seemed really weird... Also Has anyone checked his logon times? Has his account been signed into since
I spoke to him at these times in GMT, can someone check if they match.

Unless the FBI was impersonating DPR for some time, or my calculations are wrong. wasn´t I speaking to him after the supposed arrest time?
Also another thing. When the Seizure notice first showed up, Something weird happened, It forced me to log on first before showing up the notice. did this happen to anyone else? Were they trying to establish the people still active?

Arrested 3:15pm PST OCT 1.
Weirdness with login most likely to caching or timing. Remember had multi server infrastructure that forwarded requests on. Possible when you login they put seizure notice up on webserver and front end login server still not down. They image server so have private keys for hidden service.

So I was talking to him whilst he was being arrested? 07;29am is 3:29pm PST... that makes no sense..
-
so by logging in, did we just give up our log-in info?
-
7.29 am is 11.29 pm PST (assuming your clock is set to BST rather than GMT) We're 8 hrs ahead of SF, so depending on your clock he wasn't hanging out in the library when he was last talking to you.

If SR is truly ashes now they ain't worth shit anymore either way :)

I found this on a news website.
"Federal authorities shut the site down and arrested Mr Ulbricht on Tuesday afternoon in a branch of San Francisco's public library.
Mr Ulbricht was online on his personal laptop chatting with a cooperating witness about Silk Road when FBI agents from New York and San Francisco took him into custody, authorities said."

I don't think I had to log in when I loaded up SR for the first time today. The seizure page was just right there.

yeah i read the said thing he was at a coffee shop nearby his boys house. i didnt want to originally believe it i thought it was all a hoax or fake, but it finally made the NY times and USA today as well as NBCNEWS, i mean im still hoping its all a hoax but some credible sources are documenting things about this an all the mods seemed to vanish as well but yeah i had the same issue it logged me on one time and shut the site down, oddly enough i was actually on the site with no issues minutes before this happened and the site wasnt shut down until almost a day after he was arrested

cooperating witness?
-
cooperating witness?
a sting operation? by someone who sold the fake id that got intercepted perhaps?
-
cooperating witness = rat mother fucker that has obviously been the one to sell out our DPR.
this has been bugging me all day. HOW did they know to pinch him at the right time, when he was logged into the backend (presumably through TAILS like us) and didnt have time to initiate in the kill switch, or even super fast TAILS shutdown process. in our security operandii... if the fucking door comes thru, shutdown happens. by the time the scum reach our office, memory has been wiped.
if that did not happen, it is down to a rat (scenario A outlined above) OR bad security practice (which, lets face it, for all his flaws, the new DPR kept us all safe for a considerable amount of time).
THIS DOES NOT ADD UP...

Am I the only one who keeps Ctrl+F5 refreshing silkroadvb5piz3r.onion hoping the SR login page returns to normal?
Not comfortable using sheep or bmr, they seem very dodgy. But then who am I to judge what's dodgy since SR was supposedly compromised for so long? feeling a bit nauseous..
-
Yes very possible. He was in library to use internet assume. maybe arrest time slightly off. maybe agent 1 sat down and continue conversation with you after they tackle him.

^^^ agreed but there is a whole thread and actually a website on the CLEARNET of all the little mistakes DPR made leading to his capture and surprisingly it wasnt anything substance related , he just made some poor choices when using certain accounts, not realizing those accounts where linked to sensitive info of his, someone in that spot of power in a community needed to check all his avenues but that is what happened , unfortunately i would say im sure a rat also helped somewhat at some point, but lets face it , the stupid forbes article really pushed things over the edge.....for a while the thread teens posting things on tumblr about SR was a thread that was always on the first page so i think the idea of not staying under the radar hurt us the most

I think that is exactly what happened

i read somewhere they had an image of the site from july??? doesnt matter either way or if he was logged in when he got busted. Unless this is the connecting peice of evidence?
