Hey all,
I am looking for the most reliable ways to package and hide weed for US to US shipment.
Please share your insights. I am starting at point 0.
What foil do I need? How thick? What vacuum sealer? Where to get it? What should I wrap around?
Should I use a bubble mailer or first class mail envelope? or first class package? What else should go in the package?
Should I spray it with any scent?
I apologize if this has been brought up before and would appreciate a link to a similar thread.
thx,
GT

i suppose if you sent weed through letter mail it would be quite lumpy ...

I use a little plastic bag, I just push out most of the air and seal it airtight. Then I use a Foodsaver vacuum sealer for a second layer. That gives you a hard package and trapped air inside keeps the buds from becoming squashed. Then a small bubble envelope with a folded paper inside to prevent the weed showing when you hold the envelopes against a bright light. I make the envelope look totally boring. Use glue to secure the flap better, no extra tape on the outside etc. And use a printed office-like label with a return address that matches the sender city. Put the right amount of stamps on it, not too much.
Between packaging the first layer, the second layer and putting it in envelopes, make sure you change room and gloves, so not to contaminate the outside. And package it on the day of sending. Given weeks the smell will come through any layer enough for dogs to get it. Dogs aren't fooled by any smell you add to it, unlike humans they can keep them apart when mixed. You only risk alerting people to weird smells coming from a package.
I have been sending to the US with good success (shameless plug), 10g for only $80 promotion, try me:

Mylar heat sealed bags washed in acetone then in ethanol after sealing. NEVER EVER touch your mylar bags without FRESH gloves! Careful about what type of mylar you use, some cheap imitations are marketed that are not nearly as good as the real deal. MIL-SPEC mylar bags are the VERY BEST with a nylon outer coating instead of a polyester coating (like the MRE's come in). The way Holland puts a cardboard piece on both sides is ingenious and should be implemented in everyones packages that send bulky uncompressed cannabis!
