Title: Going directly to a user page
Post by: Budddy on August 06, 2011, 06:40 pm
Is there an easy way of finding a user's page? I have found where to locate users you have purchased from before on the transaction page, but what if I was looking at a user's listings and I remember their name, how do I go to their profile to see their listings? I can't seem to find a way of doing this short of bookmarking each user page url that I might be interested in and I am not to keen on having SR links in my bookmarks.  :(

@Budddy
it isn't quite as easy as it could be but Silk maybe trying to keep non active users hidden.

1) You can search for a user using Silk Road search box. This will turn up the user if they have something currently listed for sale.
2) Search Membership on the forum, many users include a link to their user page under profile or signature.
3) Check sent mail or transaction history.

I can't seem to find members by their username from the search box. Are you sure?

you can simply bookmark their page with the userid in the url.

I think you are out of luck if you don't know their userid and they don't have anything listed and you don't have any messages or orders with them. you could PM and ask them though.

Example - GreenCo's page:
