Title: BELGIUM -- Shipment lost or just taking long?
Post by: rollemup on April 02, 2012, 07:34 pm
Hi,

I ordered 5g of c from an SR vendor (won't tell his name cause he's a good vendor!) at 23/03/2012, we already had successful trades.
But last orders only took 6 days to get here (including a weekend),  this one is at day 10 already (2 weekends)...

Are there other people that had a long shipping time to Belgium? (from the Netherlands)

I'm really worried, this was my biggest purchase so far :(

Grtz

Nothing yet... I'm really worried but haven't gotten a love letter so far
it was sent to a vacant house of my family, using the name of the previous owner. So I guess it's safe for me

the package was posted on 23/03 (confirmed) so that's 13 days already... :'(

I've contacted the vendor and we are working things out

It is a bad idea to use a wrong name, in this case the name of the previous owner. What is if the postman knows the previous owner and shipped the letter to his new address. NEVER USE A WRONG NAME......

This is certainly NOT the case, they moved out recently and all their mail still gets delivered! (so I can't imagine that the postman would forward only some mail to a new address... would make no sense at all!)

In Belgium they also don't check names on the mail, address is the only thing that's necessary...

Same problem here with an order (H) from the Netherlands to a nearby country.

Product was also shipped on March, ~23rd or ~21st (I don't know the exact date).

I am used to receive orders from the Netherlands within 2 days.

you buyers need to relax vendors send out the products guaranteed the only problem is it takes time.

step by step from Canada (Day by Day)

1-taken to mail office weighted and stamped afternoon pick up
2-sorted at local mail office to send to larger city for processing for overseas
3-will sit till large enough shipment is sent to England
4-will be resorted and shipped to that countries main mail processing plant
5-mail will be sent to out lying towns and cities
6- holiday
7-holiday
8-parcel will be sorted by workers for the district or counties
9-workers recieve mail for the next delivery day
10-workers only carry 35lbs of mail MAX
11-12 days it will be in your mail box

buyers think shipping is a 3 day thing if you want fast delivery PAY EXTRA FOR FEDEX,UPS OR DHL

Will keep you guys posted, so far nothing and I don't really expect to get in trouble..
