Title: Does 4-HO-MET have a sensitivity to heat?
Post by: ianfleming on September 26, 2012, 11:37 pm
I just got some 4-Ho-Met and I'm curious about putting it into an edible.
I need to know if it's sensitive to heat, at least 120 degrees farenheight?

i dont know exactly, which is why i didnt reply initially, but i am willing to share my thoughts... its hard to tell without actually trying.

i think it may be safer to make the edible first, then add a few drops of a solution containing the drug to the edible just to ensure no loss of potency and accurate dosing

the reason heating may promote the formation of oxide products, which if met is similar to others would cause the bioactivity to decrease

for 4-ho-dmt i saw suggestions to keep the temp below 104 degrees F when drying shrooms to prevent loss of potency... therefore since the molecules are similar, you may risk degrading met
