Ok, so lots of changes and a bit of a difficult time for vendors - so we have to step up and think of ways to market ourselves again...at least until all the feedback issues are ironed out.
So, I was thinking...if I created a little fun - a competition - would customers be interested/believe me or think it's a gimmick?
This kind of thing I was thinking was for every tenth order I get I simply "award" double the order and send two packets to the luck person. Whether a small size or large - whatever it is, I commit to double.
I can ask the winners if they are happy for "publicity" and then make their happy new public if so.
Is it a crap idea or genius...??
I have no clue really...I was at a lose end without any activity tonight so my brain wandered..
I'd be very interested in the community view.
Thanks

Sounds genius for the customer mate!

Sounds like a good cool gimmick to me.
I've been a graphic designer for years doing advertising, so marketing strategies are always flying through my head, and this is actually a genuinely good idea.

Sounds cool! You can guarantee that when someone things they are gonna order number 9, they will not want to order! Everyone will sit waiting for some unsuspecting newb to place order 9 then a mass scrap starts to get the 10th order :D

that sounds like a great idea, except like above post said, customers will lure around watching your stats and pounce on #10, if they dont get it they will cancel, or do something stupid. a better idea is what i did from day 1 give everyone extra 10% min bonus products, and every once in a while 2-3-4x the order was sent out.
i have given every customer bonus products. pm me we can brainstorm, any help to increase sales, thy are down because bitcoin swing. i wish it would stabilize, it messes with sales

Will think it through and PM you later morphineman

instead of X amount of sales, maybe base it on various combinations of the transaction number ? like if it contains three 2's or something.. or the first 2 numbers added together is less than 50... something creative would be more fun i reckon =)
