Title: What blue boxes do you guys drop off in?
Post by: GaltRR on January 24, 2012, 12:15 am
Always looking to perfect my shipping methods, and I was wondering what blue boxes do you guys drop your packages off in? Do you go for the big main one with lots of volume or grab a side street one? Do you park a mile away and walk it in? Night or day?

What i usually do is walk out my front door with like 15-20 packages stacked in my arms,

then I walk to the Taco Bell right next door and use their blue box that has like 5 differennt CCTV's recoring it.

Then I just simply drop my packages in and head back to the house...

NO, moron no fcking vendor is ever going to tell you shit like that.  Figure it out for yourself. A good place to start is by not doing any of the things I just mentioned.

LMFAO do the cops that browse this site even try or do they think we are all too high to think straight ROFL.

It's the usps "community" mail boxes, yo just drop your mail in them and the mail man collects the mail from them 2-3 times a day.  It's the most common for vendors to drop their packages in them because:
a)they don't have to walk into post office
b)some boxes if you know where to look(remote locations) arent monitored by CCTV

Haha, I still think this is a legitimate question. There's still some strategization to be made. I remember Enelysion got caught because they noticed him going repeatedly to certain mail drop-offs. I'd think going into the post office to drop off mail might be best, though, just because the volume of the mail would make it less likely for them to be able to trace it back to when you came on camera.

He got caught because he used rented PO boxes and had his product from overseas (China, I believe) seized. When he failed to change PO boxes and still continued to receive there,  they staked out and followed him from the mailbox to his house.

I was more of just wondering at what point of caution is just being paranoid. There are hundreds of thousand of blue boxes I doubt if a seller said that they walked 4 blocks to it would reveal any important information. I don't know how this would be construed as LEO phishing for info.

Thanks, jerryg, I actually wasn't aware of that, but that makes a lot more sense, haha.
