Title: Poll on failed lebouef1 orders
Post by: bertiebadger on August 24, 2012, 07:06 pm
So a lot of people have orders with lebouef1 that are taking longer than expected to be delivered so I thought maybe a poll might help those still in escrow if this does go pear shaped or show that (s)he is a man of good faith and sorting this out.

Please only vote if your package has been undelivered for a reasonable time ~ 10 days say within Europe and feel free to comment on how the vendor is resolving any issues.

To be honest, I would revise the actual delivery method. Not saying anything about it but I think a plain old standard pro looking buisness letter is enough for coke. I have seen a few people applaud certain methods but trust me customs are not born yesterday. No new methods of smuggling, just innovations on themes.

You do not need elaborate methods for small amounts of yayo!

I would advise lebouef1 to alter the method. My sample came in 4-5 days or so after 'in transit' went up. Usual EU mail out times really.

As for the coke, just washed it, results in forum soon.

So he did deliver a sample that came on Thursday last.

I will not use any washed coke until at least 24 hr afterwards.

My loss was maybe 15-20% guesstimate. Usual loss really. Lose too little you wonder!

Not used yet.

Too tired from work so more like a few joints and bed for a sleep, no sex tonight, but with the missus away its just tough luck! As she says 'you got a hand'.  ::)

 ;)

So - lebouef1 also has taken listings down like many as the BTC prices are far too unstable right now and vendors might lose a LOT by the time we finalize. And we buyers might lose also! Pay £10 for a BTC then it drops to £7 by the time you spend!

Real cash, real world deals are good also!

But I cannot get good coke in the UK.

Will sample lebopuef1 coke and the wash is a useful indicator but by no means any definite proof!

That said, I wash UK coke for my buddies and we see losses so bad they all signed up to SR.

Any chance of commission?

So thats 7 people so far - appreciate if people are willing to share their timelines (ordered/marked in transit) to see if there's a pattern. Really unimpressed that my previous 0% refund rate is going to get hit by this.

Mine was ordered on the 7th marked in transit the 8th.

Mate - WHY did you accept 60% when he couldn't even produce a tracking number?

Anyway - mine was marked in transit on the 13th. He told me if it wasn't here by the end of this week (ie today) I could have a 50% refund unless I could show a customs seizure letter. I told him UK customs don't issue letters for that kind of amount. He told me he's seen two such letters he could show me. He showed me one from the customs of a completely different country. I pointed this out to him. He said he definitely had another one from the UK. I asked him to show me that. He said he was busy but would show me later that day. That was several days ago and I've heard nothing.

I've gone to the resolution center.

About refund statistics - look, if SR mods decide that someone is really a definite scammer then they can wipe all the refunds that they award to that scammer's victims from their buyer stats. This has happened to me, although I was never sure if that was a deliberate policy or just some kind of wonderful accident. It would make sense if it is a policy because refund stats are there to warn legit vendors that other legit vendors have ended up having to give this customer a refund - they're not there in order to penalize customers who definitely got scammed.

So I would say - DON'T accept partial refunds - go to resolution center, post a message to the mods with links to this and other relevant threads,  etc. etc.

ordered 7th in transit 8th. In resolution but he wants a custom letter, which I don't think I will get, for 100% refund he promised in the forums.

well so far (going off this poll) 10% of all lebouef1 orders have gone missing (and as long as everyone has been honest thats the minimum number).  They also don't seem to have all been sent on one day either (which should rule out a sack of mail going missing/being delayed/being discovered).

I've done the same but my auto finalize deadline is in 4hrs so I don't know what will happen. Will they see I'm in the resolution centre and extend the deadline?

Not sure what happens there. If you have gave him a chance to redeem himself by extending the due day at least once then ask for 100% refund or to cancel order, hopefully SR will stand by you and sort before time is due.

pleased to report, SR awarded me 100% refund. I'm more disappointed I didn't get to try lebouef1 product it looked promising. I'm not 100% convinced hes trying to scam just maybe got in too deep, dunno either way I'm done, and hopefully everyone else gets a happy resolution.

If your still in escrow I'd put a link to this in the resolution center as it's showing that at least 14% of lebouef1 orders have failed to show up - that's 1 in 7.

Did this affect your refund rate or did SR sort that out for you also?
