I'm new to tor and SR and was wondering if it is a good idea to do this: walmart>bitinstant>multibit wallet>bitcoinfog (not sure if this step is needed?)>SR
I've read through the forums and there seems to be a lot of different ways to do this, and some disagreements to boot. Can someone help a noob out? Also can bitinstant transfer directly to multibit wallet addresses? I'm aware of the security issues involving trojans and personal wallets like multibit and have decided to encrypt the wallet file with pgp until I need to use. Thoughts? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Edit - Thanks Dzzlzrd. I figured so. Ok, edited my question then..
Here's another absolutely noobish question. How does someone buy Bitcoins utilizing a Credit card or PP account? I've never bought bitcoins before and the process to do it in a bank seems rather daunting. Any advice? Thanks in advance. I'm such a noob

Thanks Christy Nugs! I figured it was a scam. From all the research I've done it seems like bank transfer/wire transfer/etc is the only way to go.

How reliable and safe would a bank transfer through a service like coinbase, then to a wallet like blockchain, then to SR be? Of amounts under 1000 usd? Bank transfer seems the easiest and with the least fees, but its sketchy cause it's your bank...

Thanks for the reply. I'm obviously a seriously paranoid person. ;D
