Title: Survey of Austrlian Shipping Success Rates
Post by: wgibson2 on April 04, 2012, 10:55 am
Please answer the following questions in a single post and nothing more.

The answers provided here will to used to calcuate an average success rate for shipping to Australia.

The average rate of lost packages can be factored in to your price.

Q1. What is the number of orders made from international sellers?
Q2. What is the number of packages you have recieved?
Q3. What is Q2 divded by Q1?

Every 6th post someone should create an average of Q3.

What about framing it as a percent? That way we can remain anonymous.

might as well make this thread have some decent info in it:
Total Orders Calculated: 351 (39% mention the orders orgin)

Arrivals: 333
Non-Arrivals: 18

95% arrivals
5% non-arrivals (could be combination of scams, lost items or seizures)

82% non arrivals were from EU
18% from USA

49% arrivals were from EU
22% UK
23% USA
6% ASIA + OTHERS

stats by Jones32.

For me to take this seriously i want to know the Quantity and cost of their orders? The frequency with which they order from O/S? Whether they use their own name or a pseudonym? Own address or another drop?

While, like i've said before, I appreciate the effort you're going thru, your DATA is totally inaccurate and fundamentally flawed. IMO you're never going to get the information you're seeking on an ANONYMOUS forum.

Nice try ;)

These stats are 100% based on what data can be used.
If people aren't disclosing any information, then people should be smart enough to recognize that.

You'd have to be seriously dumb to take those stats as accurate.
But from what data can be gathered, they're the best we've got.

Been waiting 14 days on what was an expensive express post delivery from Canadia and nothin - I think the good old Maple leaf is about to become a symbol of distaste in my house - but on the bright side they might get to register on your lovely little chart - so swings and round abouts then eh ?? - will update when I know for sure  >:(

That's a good idea shiznit, I didn't post the stats, though if I did I would have added that.
I hope if people read those stats, they'll also continue reading ahead to see Jim's post.

I don't count days of postage, makes me go crazy! :P
I just chill out on the forums and shit.
