no active listings, you've got my attention
-
Looks yummy to me, I'd grab a sample when you put them up.
-
Will you be selling in bulk?
If so, what are your prices?
-
always good to see a new vendor of weed
-
Can't wait to try a sample!!
-
I like the military grade moisture bags if I ever become a vendor that is what I will use.
-
Sounds great, Farmer.
It seems like you love what you do.
:D
-
Product looks delightful, might have to give it a go once I get some coins :)
-
your grow pictures are interesting because it appears you're using regular floro's and some compact floro bulbs
but look at how big the plants are
/mind blown
-
You have my attention, and interest. :P
-
Ah makes sense youre using HID lights.. I had never seen plants grow that large under just floro bulbs
Your buds look nice
I'd love to see some shots of the cured/dried bud
Looking forward to ordering from you
-
@Farmerbob
I would love to order 1/2 oz of the NLxBB.
-
FarmerBob, thanks for the pics
looks like some mighty fine fresh herb!! They all look delicious
can't wait to get some into my lungs.. I'd love an ounce of each :) :) :)
I wish you could post up some links to the "smells" of them... Internet hasn't gotten that good yet :)
I'd love to try a variety pack.. once my pending orders all arrive here this week I'll have an order in
pm'd ya too
-
Doobie and others interested in larger quantities, be patient, I'll list those in the next couple weeks.
Right now I'm only doing the small quantity samples so that:
a - people can try before they buy large quantities
b - I can get some feedback on SR.
c - I can ensure my shipping method and packaging works out well.
Once i'm comfortable that I got this system down I'll be listing larger sizes. In the meantime If you order an 1/8th I'll certainly hook you up, and I'll include a hashed up joint and some trimmings that you can make butter or cook with. (or smoke if you ever get desperate... better than brickweed IMHO).
Thanks for the interest
Bob
Smart move, take it slow.
I love making butter ;D
Later on lets talk trim.
For now get your methods together.
-
Decided on giving farmerbob a try, will update when I get the goods. Those pics and the descriptions made me go for the NYC Diesel, which I hope is a good choice. Seems like a chill guy tho 8)
-
are you shipping international
-
well thanks again to those of you who ordered. USPS should be picking those up in the morning.
P0zen I sent you an 1/8th of early harvest NYCD and a few small buds of the later harvest stuff extra to fatten the bag. The later harvest ones are the smaller yellowish & purplish ones.
uniwiz it's funny you mention trim, I was also going to throw in a bag of trim as a bonus on peoples orders but after I got everything bagged and sealed and put in the bubble mailer I realized that it just looked too overstuffed so I tore that one apart and repacked with a couple joints instead and now I'm just sending people an extra bud or joint as a bonus instead.
I've got a ton of trim, I need to put the wife to work making cookies, brownies, candy, and olive oil.
Best Regards,
Bob
Cannabis-infused olive oil sounds AWESOME!
-
I will be getting one of those 1/8ths with my paycheck on Friday. :) Hopefully you don't run out.

Thanks a bunch Bob, sounds like I am in for a treat :) If you do decide to sell some trim I would be very interested in that as well. Making brownies/candy/oil sounds time intensive on your part, but if your game go for it... but expect a lot of orders if so :P you can always save the time and gain the money by selling the trim straight up, I imagine everyone here knows how to make a batch of brownies.

You can compress, and stuff the shit out of trim.
I'm just going to boil it ;)
I love making butter, makes breakfast so enlightening. 8)
-
FarmerBob sounds like a good addition to SR. I will post a smoke report after I sample.
-
lol i ask again are you shipping internationally?
-
Placed my first order with ya 8) Wish you the best on the Silk Road. If the gear is as good as it looks :) ( no doubt )..... You will hear a lot from me in the future... ;D
-
Just placed my order with you as well. Glad to support a new vendor that really knows what he's doing. You look like you've done your homework. Can't wait to try that awesome looking Diesel.
-
Sorry Greek I missed that first question.
Right now I'm shipping to USA only. I'm not sure yet if i'll expand that to international shipping
my concerns with international sales are:
1- There seems to be more risk in crossing borders
2- Shipping costs are higher and there's a greater chance I'll screw something up
3- I am a VERY small grow operation, I only make a few pounds surplus a year, so I suspect domestic sales alone will sell me out before the next batch is in.
If I do decide to do international shipments I'll let you know.
Sniper: I won't run out.
Regarding Trim, I can compress it, and I should have compressed it, but I was trying to compress it in my seal-bagging and it kept getting in the seam and f'in up the seal... when you get your package and see how I do things you'll see what I mean. These MBBs are stiff, and the seals can be finicky. I should have put it in a ziplock bag first, then compressed it and sealed it in the MBB. Anyways, like I said earlier these 1/8ths are my chance to learn what works well for me and what doesn't.
For those of you who ordered from me when I had no feedback I appreciate you taking a risk on me and I'll hook you up with some free trim (or other extras) in the future, just remind me that you were one of my early customers, since I probably won't remember your names, I'm can't even remember my kids names let alone all yours.
Best Regards,
Bob
thanks bob please do let me no if you want to try it as i can tell you everything you need to no to ship international as you wouldnt be the 1st american vendor id have tough
-
Thanks for the samples Bob.
Smoking the Jedi joint now ;)
-
Wow just by the shipping methods, look of the strains, and early sample prices not only am I gonna throw your sample eighths in my shopping cart but gonna leave very detailed review after receiving. I don't have bitcoin atm, but should tomorrow or saturday at the latest and am definitely gonna order.
Glad I checked this thread! Because I thought you were a non-US vendor at first. Hallelujah

Anybody named "FarmerBob" is cool with me. I'm also a farmer, a game farmer that is. I breed game roosters for the preservation of bloodlines. Anyway, I opened this thread one day and saw he had a picture of a rooster as his avatar, and I ordered as soon as I saw that. He's the only vendor with a picture of a rooster. I'm from a small town in a very agricultural friendly state so this guy stuck out to me, so I ordered an 1/8th of the NYC diesel. I ordered around 1 or 2 pm CST Wednesday, so I didn't get my order in quick enough for him to ship it on Wednesday, but he ships on Friday as well, so it should be sent out today and hopefully it will arrive Monday or Tuesday. Looking forward to giving him a good review.

Gotta love it. Nice Friday afternoon just made it home from work. I have this joyful package from my new friend FarmerBob.
Loved the reading material :)
Delightful package a combination of all 4 strains on the menu, and a delightful J I smoked on the way home cruising to some new music.
More to come on the strains. This is goin to be a fun weekend 8)
-
I have spent most of this evening sampling the wonderful package received from FarmerBob.
He will be getting quite a lot of business should he want it as his grass is very very nice.
nlxbb strain: subtle and wonderful. I would rank the potency about 7. This grass reminded me of the green sticky buds we used to get in the 80's. There is no paranoia or anxiety at all with this strain. Just one big giggly wave of euphoria. A nice change of pace from my Jack Herer. I love this and will be ordering more when he makes it available!!
skywalker: we loved the smell & taste. This is more dreamy, spacey and relaxing high with a touch of the munchies.
The sack was over and contained some J's. We did not smoke the J's yet and wanted to ask FarmerBob what is in the J's?
-
That joint is skywalker mixed with NYC Diesel and a little bit of the hash I pull of the scissors. The NYC Diesel tones down the grapefruity flavor of the skywalker (I can't stand grapefruit) and the hash adds a bit more kick. Hope you like it.
Thanks again,
Bob.
:)

Just placed an order sounds good.......
-
FarmerBob,
This video is just one of many that justifies multiple vac seals. Quite a few videos on youtube showing postal employees abusing packages.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiSI-oQiFkw
if a staple accidentally punctured the first layer of your package then the smell escapes and the package is confiscated. There is a reason that the sellers guide recommends multiple layers of vac seals.
I am afraid that your insistence of using only one vac seal will cause you to be unavailable to me in the future.
-
FarmerBob you should consider delivering to the UK.... I'd LOVE some of that weed you got.
-
Whenever you are ready bob I would like to know what prices you have in mind for zips. I don't know if you may go as far as qp's?
-
FarmerBob,
I respectfully disagree and wish you the best.
-
Dear Doobiebros -
I don't have a dog in this fight, horse in this race, or any other idiomatic animal in this discussion.
But I have been playing with pet utility dogs and scents and heat-sealed barrier bags since FarmerBob introduced the concept, and, as far as scent permeation goes, he is, unsurprisingly, on the money.
Considering that the MBBs were designed specifically (yes?) for toughness as well as impermeability, I think I would take my chances with single MBB bags, rather than triple-vaccing.
Standard of practice is perhaps about to change?
I have an open can of wet cat food that's been sitting in a warm room for three days in a vapor-barrier bag, and the dog walks right by it to get to water and completely ignores it. This is a dog that's used to looking for treats in bags now.
I'm not opening it up to see how funky it is in that bag, either, I am quite sure that the salmon-eyeball-surprise smells pretty strong by now.
If I didn't have a couple-three day and night jobs that kept me busy, I'd consider opening up here to sell mil-spec bags, as selling eggs to miners is the way to go in a gold rush, etc., but someone else should leap into that market, maybe. I have been playing with a random assortment of bags, it would be convenient to have a standardized set.
Anyway, no stake in this.
Just a reminder that things advance and the knowledge base expands.
-
Received the 1/8th plus the samples. The two joints were quite nice and I ended up smoking both of them by myself :P very clear high and the bud looks frosty and smells delightful, like a nature piny scent. The single nugget you also shipped was covered in trichromes, what strain is it?? Anyways, very good stuff. Would be interested in more, but its whatever Bob decides. And to avoid crushing nugs blow up a zip lock clear baggie and seal that sucker.... just my 5 cents. And in regards for your packaging I would prefer no other method, but another layer never hurt if it doesn't cause the inconvenience. :D
-
It was marked with a A0 or something along those lines. I will be ordering a 1/4 of another strain once you put the listing up, that's for sure :D
-
p0zen, that was the Agent Orange.

Also, for others that are following my thread I have a quick question: Is there any risk to me in taking orders from a new account that was opened on SR yesterday.
Just had an order come through and it isn't quite sitting right with me, the buyer wants 2 of my samples (and I suppose I can let that slide) but once the order came in and I saw the purchasing stats for the buyer I was immediately suspicious. The buyer has only had his account for 2 days and has not purchased anything yet. It seems odd to me that someone gets his account, has bitcoins in hand, and is ready to go from browse to shop in that short a period of time. Since I'm a new vendor I cannot ask him to finalize early.
I know I certainly wouldn't be ready to sign up and buy in such a short period of time.
I suppose the escrow system should protect me, but i'm still suspicious.
What would you guys do in this situation?
Thanks,
Bob
That's what the resolution is for. Did you happen to get a DCN? (I doubt it since it was samples.) Also, how did i miss that you were doing samples?
-
I was wondering about ounces myself.
I also wanted to say that his packaging was the stealthiest and coolest i've ever seen.

+1 I agree. It was explained by a vendor the same way you did.
If the dog can't smell it, the process works.
FarmerBob,
Very professional startup.
You can pick your customers, if it doesn't feel right don't do it.
Sounds like somebody create a fake account, as was stated, took a few days to learn how to order.
Good eyes ;)

Hi FarmerBob,
Just to provide some perspective from a noob, I was on SR browsing and researching for a couple of months before I was comfortable enough to make a purchase. When I was ready to get some BTCs, SR prompted me for my transaction PIN which I couldn't recall creating. After five failed attempts, I got locked out and was told to wait seven days (or five, don't remember that accurately) for a reset. Since I had no transactions up to that point, I didn't see the harm in just creating a new account and starting from there as opposed to waiting another week to make my first purchase. But I see, now, how that would appear to a vendor. Suspicious, absolutely.
If it were me, I'd err on the side of caution and not fulfill, but I'm a very cautious/deliberate person. Judging by what I've read from your posts, you seem to have an awesome product and in my mind, the advantage you have over most other vendors on SR is that you grow your own product and you add material knowledge to the SR community via this forum. I'm positive, that given time, you'll have a solid and loyal customer base you'll be able to rely on to do safe business with. Losing one customer right now, who appears to be sketchy, in the long run, shouldn't be a concern. While I understand that SR eliminates the FE early option for new vendors and that is meant to protect buyers from scam vendors, there's no reason why you, yourself, shouldn't protect against scam buyers.
Can't jump to conclusions, but I understand your concern. I started using SR days after a week of browsing through the forums/wiki about Bitcoins, PGP, security, TOR, scams, etc. I'm still skeptical and a bit paranoid (scammers, LE posing as vendors, the safety of using the forums, etc) about using this website, but I guess that'll ease once I get my first package.
Buying (physical) contraband from the internet was something I'd never considered doing nor did I thought it was possible to the degree that I'm saw on SR. Overall, I'm hoping everything goes well, so I can prove to my friend (who thinks I'm bat-shit crazy for even considering buying contraband from the web) that it can be safe buying contraband from the interweb relative to just buying it on the street.
P.S.
I want to give a shout out to BlueSkytraders for making acquiring bitcoins extremely quick and easy.

I just wanted to chip-in here and leave some glowingly-positive feedback for FarmerBob, so hopefully this is the right thread!
I ordered some NYC Diesel, which looked, smelled, and smoked phenomenal. This was a BIG hit at a particular summer music festival where smokers know their smoke!
Packaging was exceptional. Very discreet and well sealed. The Skywalker (?) joint thrown in was also a very, very nice extra, albeit a little rough looking, which FarmerBob already explained above. Naturally, I broke it open anyway to check it out. I'm guessing this was an indica, which is not what I generally go for, but it was awesome and everyone who tried it loved it. To top it off, the big ol bag of trim thrown in got some use. We picked through it one night and got something over a gram of bits of good bud, and the rest was used for a little butter, which I did not try, sadly.
As nice as the extras are, I don't require them. I'd rather just continue to see nice prices for great bud. A lot of sellers here seem to raise prices as soon as they start building a good reputation.
Keep up the good work, FarmerBob! I hope to see listings for anything else you may have to offer, and I WILL be back.
* Only caveat: buds were a little flat, but not bad. This had no effect on anything, and I couldn't care less, but some people are super picky. I'll take it the same way every time, since the package looked so nondescript. Great security that is very unlikely to fail.
-
I'm very interested in this Agent Orange strain, I've been reading good things in your review thread. I've tried some of the top vendors and I'm curious is their stuff is worth the higher prices. Look forward to trying out your product.
-
Eighth of Skywalker weighed out to 4.7 grams! And the sample of NYC-Diesel was a real nice touch. Clearly a caregiver that redefines care.
-
just purchased AO yesterday and its on its way today! I am a VERY regular buyer and if all goes well, I will be a loyal customer. Prior to this transaction I was using Fabled, as his prices were very reasonable despite that you were buying brick, but it seems that he may have strayed a bit since I recently saw some negative encounters using him. Looking forward to my order FarmerBob!!
-
I ordered a 1/4oz each of Mr. Bob's NYC-D and Agent Orange, will update when it arrives with a review and pics from my piece of shit camera. So far, Mr. Bob has been extremely professional and pleasant to deal with.
-
Hey there Bob. I haven't even placed my first order with you and I am already excited about your Virgin Mary. I'm only waiting on a PM response from you and then I'll send my coins.
I noticed in your reviews that you seem to give freebie samples sometimes. It would be impolite and tacky of me to ask you to please include some with my order, so I'm not going to! ;) I'm just thinking out loud. I'll be perfectly happy just to receive my order.
-
FB's NYCD is ridiculous. Out of all the vendors and strains I've tried on SR, this is easily the most potent weed I've smoked. I haven't been as ripped as I was last night in a long time. I read somewhere that the high of this strain produce can be considered "exotic." I have to agree with that assessment in the sense that at times of my "high," it felt like I was on a mild psychedelic. I could easily feel the sativa and indica effects of this strain. I'm a seasoned, daily smoker, but my lungs took a beating. FB's challenge attributed to that. After the first rip from the bong, it took me 5-10 minutes to recompose myself. Two rips later, I was down for the count. I don't recommend inexperienced smokers to try this strain. FB is probably the best vendor I dealt with on SR. He also happened to pop my SR cherry as well.
-
Looking forward to trying some Virgin Mary... if Bob says its good the it HAS to be dank. When will you be listing 1/2 oz, or is the packaging method hindering the possibility of larger orders being shipped??
-
Boy FarmerBob. You seem to have the dankest of the dank here. Don't doubt it. As with any crop, NOTHING beats growing in straight earth organically! So glad we have you hear on SR! Your pics are amazing and I highly respect what you do. Beginner grower here but I just grew some pretty dope bagseed, what I believe was purple erkle. All organic and it was like nothing else. The smell and the taste especially.
Any ways my point is I wanna grab some of the last of the last of the NYCD and hopefully get my hands on this beautiful VM you're talking about. You are certainly a unique grower.
Also if you start selling over 1/4s. I definitely think you will have a lot of customers going for it. I know I sure will be. preferably full OZ (28gr) even. I would like to plan it out so that Id only need to order monthly. I'm sure a lot of other buyers feel the same way.
And as for price. Of course as a buyer Id say put that ish as cheap as it gets! But in reality it looks like you have a TOPNOTCH product here and I think your being fair, if not very fair considering almost all the reviews I've read either said it was overweight or contained free samples. Personally I'm fine with Qs being $100-110. Maybe if you sell ounces try to discount that a tad more? $395?
Also seems to be the best idea to not ship internationally though. You got a killer user base here and why risk yourself to customs?
Wow I said all this and I didn't even buy any yet. I will certainly have more to say once my product arrives. I will definitely be back here!
Thanks FarmerBob for keeping it real and providing us here at SR with some homegrown, organic, killer dank. Can't wait!!!
Edit: Also if you could get clones up for sale and safely shipped I would DEFINITELY be interested. You thinking about seeds too? So glad you want to spread the love! ;D ;D

Sounds good LifeReloadedXL. That's what I'm looking for. Just all out, braingasmic hallucihigh. Since this is my first purchase here, I had a hard time deciding what type of weed I was looking for: indica, sativa, hybrid, etc. All the weed I've ever smoked was stuff my friends gave me, and never did I even once know the type or strain that I was smoking. But I did know that it was always amazing shit.
My primary source was just from one of my best friends, and he never once gave me anything weak. But since I never knew what I was smoking, I wasn't sure what to order on SR, and deciding between a "couch lock" and a "cerebral" had me really trying to remember how the hell I would describe the great weed I used to smoke with my friend.
Since I usually would want to listen to music, draw, read, exercise, or even tidy up and clean my room believe it or not, I've come to the conclusion that I must be a sativa type of guy. Yet at the same time, I felt very groovy had a strong body buzz as well, and that's an indica trait! What gives!
Anyway, I figure on my next two orders, I should plan on getting a definitive example of both a strong indica weed and a strong sativa weed so that I'll more or less determine once and for all which of the two I prefer. So FarmerBob, your Virgin Mary would be more the body buzz type right? But does that mean it has very little or no psycho active properties? Do you feel exactly the same mentally after you smoke it but just with a good feeling in your body and perfect mental clarity?
-

From what I remember bob said his VM is a one of a kind (his own) cross between Blueberry and Northern Lights. Like fuck me...this sounds amazing. Ive always wanted to try some of that blueberry yum yum! hehe :P And cross that with northern lights! Supposedly somebody did do this cross though. Just checked it out, a seed bank called dr.atomic. Seems like this VM is gonna be indica dominate though.
I seem to always get indicas were im from (guess since those plants generally grow shorter = indoor grows). Love the sativa high soooo much though since its a rarity for me. It's the absolute best when your around your good buddys, or at a party, watching a hilarious movie. Yet I can't seem to get away from loving my indica side. Theres NOTHING like coming back home from work/exercise/school/etc. and chillin back bong ripping some heavy indica. CHILLIN! haha
But MittDogOnRoofRomney, dang, IMO indicas and sativas are both amazing. I don't think it's the 'person' but rather the 'environment' and type of high you're looking to achieve. If I were you, I would have both on hand if possible. Or just find a really nice hybrid that caters both of your needs. (If you find a good one let me know! :D )
Also search those two strains (Blueberry and Northern Lights) and judge what you think its going to be like. Like I said though I would think it's going to be a hybrid consisting something like a 70 indica / 30 sativa (out of 100) content. If not, more indica.
Would like to hear what FarmerBob has to say about the strain too! I'm sure he'll be posting a brief description on his views of it within the listing.
Ah was REALLY trying to get a Q of that NYCD but I think I missed out. Was pondering on getting the 1/8 but I'd rather make my purchases in more bulk if possible (less frequent shipping). Plus FOR ME, I wouldn't spend the $ on the 1/8, when I could buy more and save some $ too (win win!). The more you buy, the cheaper it gets and thats what I'm all about. Btw, would love if farmerbob did ounces and all the below. Would definitely be a buyer of 1/2oz's.
Either way Ill be seeing you on the road farmerbob!

This guy is incredible. I hope you remain prosperous for a long time to come.
-
Big fucking talk about how strain doesn't matter.
I appreciate that kind of honesty. +karma for you. :)
-
But MittDogOnRoofRomney, dang, IMO indicas and sativas are both amazing.
Yeah I plan on getting some of both. Variety is the spice of life.
Thanks for your candidness FarmerBob. Good explanation and informative. Like I said, that's what I used to think - weed is weed. There's good weed and bad weed. But I haven't smoked in several years and am just now starting again. And now that I've been taking notice of all the discussion and hype regarding all the varieties for the first time, it really threw me off as to what "kind" I want. No idea!
Having said all that, I would think there must be SOME appreciable differences in the character of effect from one plant to the next, just like any plant. Thinking back to my biology class, I was and am fascinated by all the genetic diversity within the same species of organism. Offspring or seeds from the same source can grow into something very unique. I would also think that a lot of the quality has to do with the grower and his technique and fertilizers used and all the other variables.
I'm very sensitive to the subtle differences in taste to fruits and vegetables. I love peaches, pears, dates and melons, and often when I'm eating fruits from the very same batch, I really do notice differences in taste, albeit subtle, but I still notice. Like some honeydew melons of the exact same "strain" have a delicate honey/vanilla taste with moderate sweetness, while one right next to it has a much sweeter, honey and bell pepper-ish taste. Same thing with dates. One can have a cotton candy like taste, then next more like brown sugar. But I eat A LOT of fruit so I may be more sensitive to these subtleties than the average person.
Ok, sorry for the tangent. I hope I'm not derailing this thread by going off the deep end topic wise!
-
I prefer the world of fruit instead. University, private, and public breeding programs that last decades (or centuries) and a great focus on distributing the best and cloning cultivars from that. A granny smith is a granny smith anywhere you go in the world.
Bob
Any chance you're working on the granny smith of cannabis? :)
-
Looks deece
-
I love this discussion! I dream of the day when marijuana is breed and cultivated with the same kind of long term programs that our modern fruits and vegetables have so that we can indeed have the same kind of consistency in pot plants that we have in Granny Smith, Fuji, Gala, Delicious, Golden etc apples. Then, when people of the future go to their grocery store or farmer's market and see Blueberry or NYCD or White Widow, the names will really mean something and people will know what to expect from each variety.
Imagine a cannabis breeding program carried out over the course of 300 years. We could have the biggest fattest, sweetest, stickiest, most flavorful weed the world has ever known. You want weed that will put you in a 12 hour hibernation coma? That's Delicious Coma® weed you want. You want weed that will make you want to clean your bathroom and scrub the tiles with a smile on your face and whistling Dixie? That's Busy Bee®. Need inspiration for your song writing? Try MusicBurst®.

My first transaction on SR is now complete! I placed order on either Saturday or Sunday and it arrived today (Wednesday). Here is my review.
SHIPMENT
The packaging was close to how I imagined it would be after reading reviews of and posts by FarmerBob. It is very professionally done. The moister barrier bags and his attention to detail really gives me peace of mind. The most important thing to me is how well the product is packaged, even more than the quality of the product itself, because whether it's good or bad, LE would bust you anyway. Therefore, yeah, I wanted to feel safe about the packaging so I couldn't ask for more in that department. Well done.
PRODUCT
Overweight by about 1.5 to 2 grams. Sample of Virgin Mary, which I haven't tried yet. The NYCD looks and smells very good. I've only taken one or two very light hits just to get a feel for it.. And 3 would have probably been just right for me, but I'm a relatively light smoker compared to many people, especially here on SR. Can't take any real manly hits until later, so I'll update when I do.

Just realized this isn't FB's vendor review thread. I'll post more on this one:

how long till restock? thanks in advance FarmerBob
-
what outdoor strains can we look forward to?
-
whats the chances of testing the international waters with a few respected buyers mr bob?
-
That depends a lot on nature.
If all goes well I'll start harvesting my outdoor weed around the end of September, should have weed listed around the end of October or early November. My next indoor crop starts in September and finishes in December/early January timeframe.
Bob
Thanks for the help

Awesome to see you around Bob. I will keep a look out for the goodies later on this holiday season!
-
homie from san antonio, i am new to all this but on hard times we find our way, i just heard of this by a friend, i could i buy oz's
-
i want some dank FarmerBob.. u got any on ya?
-
Delightful :D looking forward to harvest! Will you be able to do large packages (boxes?) this time, or sticking with bubble? Anyways, nice job on the plants some of them look tall as hell!
-
Good for you dude, its awesome to see all that hard work pay off! Organic is the way to grow, hands down. You should take pics of the ladies before you chop if you have enough light.
-
well it was a good haul and the plants are all safely home, was a lot of work though, normally I only grow enough for me and a bit for friends, this time I had about 20 plants to pull. There's way to much to fit in my closet to dry so I've filled my basement up with drying weed, my entire house (and everything in it) reeks of weed now.
here's a few photos of the plants, they did alright but the lack of rain kept them smaller than I prefer. I've quick-dried and sampled a bud or two already and it gets my seal of approval. Although dry weather reduces yield the buds are more potent than usual. It's not as good as my indoor grown weed, but it's probably better than the "indoor grown" weed of most growers

genuine texada timewarp

The texada timewarp was an amazing performer, only 2 TT clones survived and they stayed relatively small, but they produced HUGE dense buds and I the quality is top shelf. I'm not used to having a sativa dominant plant do as well as these have done. I think I'll be doing over 50% TT clones next summer based on this test.
After they're dry comes the part I dread... trimming.
I'm getting to old for this shit.
Bob
Wow, nice work! It seems like the plants were growing strong in that natural soil. Has the weather really impacted the potency of bud?? And someone has to invent a trimming machine... it would make a fortune! :P

It's been done, actually. But they're big, and more importantly, fucking loud.

I can't wait for you to make your grand return to SR. I really wish I had some of that VM for the semester. It provides one of the most functional highs I encountered. It's unfortunate that I bought my first bong after running out of it. The other plants are looking good. I might take a break from smoking until you get back on SR.
-
Welcome Back! I've noticed that you put some of your listings up, but are you going to put up the NYCD or that already sold out? Also, are you going to put up any higher quantities of the Virgin Mary? I can't imagine the NYCD being noticeably stronger than what you put up several months ago. It's still the strongest weed I received from SR.
-
any idea if you will be shipping to EU Bob, id love to try your wares =]
-
Not even if its just me [= 0
I've recieved orders from USA / Canada before no worries. just need to vac-pack with an air-bubble, wrap each layer in brown paper prior to vaccing, helps reduce compression.
i love artisan ganja so yours really appeals, i cant stand the taste of huge hydro grows, even if the weed is well flushed and cured; it loses something small grows have.
best smoke recently was some organic, soil grown citrus skunk. the cuttings were taken from an original 90's motherplant the breeders' kept alive. reminded me of the classic 90's skunk we had all over europe when the dutch indoor grows were just taking off.
-
Glad I snagged some NYCD quick then! ;) Looking forward to the outdoor grow!!
-
So the outdoor weed is still curing, and it's still tasting a bit green, it may be mid-December before you see it listed.
I've got a little bit more I'm going to list before I drop off for a while.
- I've got about an ounce of the late harvest NYCD. This is the same super-potent NYCD but it was from a plant harvested later than the others. It's more narcotic body stone... good pain relief for those of you seeking medicinal MJ. I'll list 4 1/4s of that this weekend.
Best Regards,
Bob
I am definitely looking forward to when the texada timewarp is done curing and up for grabs. Just wanted to post and subscribe. I'll be keeping my ojo's open for sure!
-
Hi, just wanted to give some props. I really like your style and intelligence FarmerBob.
Still have some of the VM in a jar, wonderfully relaxing and delicious, thank you again. Looking forward to the outdoor.
Stay safe!

I think I just found my guy after days of lurking around here. Even if for some imaginable reason you don't have the best product you are most certainly the best salesman here.... I could read FB's posts all day lol. Now I just have to figure out all this BTC crap and security. Hope to connect with you soon!

Received my first order from Farmer Bob (and my first order on SR) on Monday morning. It should be noted that I ordered it on Friday, and let's say this package had to go the distance. I think that's a testament to Bob's packaging and shipping. It was indeed to the standards that he has written about. Nothing gimmicky. Just straightforward and well-done. And the product inside was fantastic. I put a lot of prep into placing my first order; I'm glad what I got in the end showed the same level of craft and preparation on the his end. A great conclusion to my first SR experience.
In appreciation, I took this photo of the goods, straight from the package. This is Bob's Virgin Mary, and since the listing was gone when I went to finalize, I'm guessing some of the last of what was publicly available:

I literally can not see it. I mean, it honestly looks like the bud is just floating in air, in that picture. Even knowing it is there, I can not see it. I'm impressed, frankly. Also, the bud looks great too.

Hi, farmerbob
I wish you the best of luck and happy new year, and that the Mighty God shall protect you from the evil of this world!

the glass is ontop of a white surface, also the camera is directly level with the bud, creating the illusion that their is nothing there. the camera just doesnt 'see' the glass. awesome

-little off topic but i read the intro page where you mention some of your older strains-and familiar names-like
Chimera seeds, and Texada Timewarp-its good to hear some of those genetics are out there-sounds like you might be familiar with some of the older breeders before they went big time or into the crapper (depending upon your view), e.g. BOG, subcool, bubbleman, the Grimm Bros, and RC's old Heaven's Stairway seed site, as well as HempDepot and GypsyNirvana --most originally from overgrow.com . Keep up the genetic lines and the good work. jones21
