Title: Nod - Where art thou?
Post by: Pufffdaddy on August 25, 2013, 02:53 pm
Nod has been quiet for several week now. Does anyone have any inkling of what's up?

Nod, if you're reading this, when will you re-list?

I was wondering the same, as well as Hammertime and Chaletta.  They went underground around the time the Freedom Hosting seizure.  Hope they are just laying low and it's nothing more serious.

Don't know how long this has been on his vendor page:

Quote
== Shipping Delays ==

For reasons unknown at this time our volume of cocaine orders increased dramatically late last week. It is not clear if this is due to marketing effort, positive customer feedback or changes in the marketplace such as another vendor delisting their product.

Because our first product was Heroin timely shipping has always been a priority. Spikes like this for a few days are not uncommon when other vendors delist so we normally absorb this increase in orders but this surge has lasted nearly a week now and has consumed our headroom and caused orders to be late.

In order to mitigate the damage to customers Express Heroin orders are being processed first (Heroin withdrawals are terrible). Some orders placed between Noon Tuesday and Noon Wednesday were marked in transit but not actually shipped. On Wednesday we went to unplanned vacation to catch up.

We need to slow things down, in order to get a handle on things we are going to have to raise prices and enter stealth mode. These increased prices should hopefully reduce sales to levels we can manage. Please don't be offended by the increased prices, the reality is we are in a position where we have to decide between turning away revenue or letting the market make the decision for us. We will lower prices as soon as our ability to handle orders allows us to.

I think he's just taking a break. Or maybe he's done vending, which would suck. But I don't think anything *bad* has happened, because we would've heard about it by now.

Glad I'm not the only one wondering. Their gear was a hit out where I reside.
