What's the problem? How does the Huffington Post hurt the SR?

Welcome to all the new SR users who found us because of the Huffington Post article. I am glad you made it.

SO all you have to do is go to huffington post, go to the tech section, about 12" down the page. Very obvious.

Yes, i see there is little need for panic, I have found the article to be more discuraging to onlookers than it is encouraging, so only those willing to endure the process, will enter into "THE VOID"!
Sorry for the Caps lock...

"And entering Silk Road requires a username, a passphrase and a PIN..."

They probably got phished writing their article if they used a pin to get on, haha!

I like the part about URLs being intentionally difficult to remember too.  Relative to all the useless shit we remember there isn't much to memorizing a short string of characters.

Despite my disinterest in drugs and the absurdity of all websites that facilitate illegal transactions, Silk Road is a fascinating place to visit, certainly different enough from the searchable Internet to be worth a click by any intrepid digital explorer.

good show

This was actually really well written in my opinion, and I really liked the mentioning of the fact that everybody tells people to crudely fuck off lol.

Aha! Thats funny! "A trip down the rabbit hole with Alice" Awh! He sounds so boring haha! I suppose he even backs Silk Road up towards the end, saying that "forumgoers are quick to pounce on bad posts" Damn straight why on earth would you want child porn/assassinations on here! Keep assassinations to Assassin's Creed ^_^

I didn't find the article to be bad at all... and it was actually quite nice about the forums, all things considered.

Yeah I think that article was pretty dope. She hit it right on the head on a lot of points, especially the comments about the forum. Since Silk Road is talked about all over, why not have more publicity, especially if it has a nice undertone to it.

Hey PurpleLotus why not message the writer and get her Calvin and Hobbes lol?

I wonder how much weird porn and stuff that writer went through to find Calvin and Hobbes...
