Hey guys, I'm working with USD, and for my first transaction on SR, I was using bitfloor. I've now switched to bitme due to bitfloor shutting down, but I was wondering if there were other websites that I could use for cash deposits at a bank?
Also, both bitme and mrbitcoins, the websites I was looking at using, require you to send a picture of your bank receipt to them. Is this sketch at all/is there any way to get around this? I know when I did the cash deposit last time at bitme, I sent them an email about why my coins were pending for so long (Friday-Sunday), and within an hour after I sent that, the USD cleared in my account. Not sure if this was due to it being the end of the weekend (Sunday night), or my email, which didn't have a photo copy of my receipt in it.
Also if this is too much information about my transactions to post here, can someone please let me know? Newb here, much obliged :)

Bitinstant is my go-to. Simple and quick.

Is the bitcoin to email technique safe? I don't really want to send my coins to a Mt Gox account

I haven't tried that option yet - but you can send to bitcoin address.. I suggest that - then you can bounce it around or send anywhere you want. Don't have to go to MTGox if you don't want to.

I've used bitinstant to send to email (then to a wallet then to SR) as well as straight to a wallet address then to SR. No problems so far on multiple transactions with them.

ugh, having issues with bitinstant. The drop down for deposit methods won't let me do cash deposit... it only gives me the cash deposit options when I'm on clearnet. What do?
EDIT: had to enable scripts globally (sketch)... Also, why do they need you to put in an address for the bank? normally they just give you an account number and you can go to any bank, no?
EDIT 2: I have to put in the address of my bank on trustcash and they charge an extra comission? is this normal? ugh

Yes, all normal. The address thing is so they can tell you the closest place where you can complete the transaction. I don't like Trustcash - I usually use CVS or Walmart to finalize the transaction.
