I placed an order with DutchQualityBeans last Thursday, and just like I have done with all the vendors I have begun purchasing from, I sent him a message before ordering. He didn't get back to me but I figured since the message wasn't really that important I put in the order anyway. The next day he marked the order as "In Transit" which by itself isn't that odd. Here's where I start getting a big concerned.
He has the policy that members with under 5 transactions must finalize early, which I really have no qualms with as I am a new member. However, since he marked the order in transit without even reading my message I decided to wait off on finalizing. The day after he changed the order status I sent him another message, just thinking he was back logged or something and figured he would contact me about finalizing so he can send the order off.
Well, the next day after he still hasn't read either of my messages, nor contacted me about finalizing I sent him another (third) messages asking him about the order. Saying that if it has been sent out, cool, I'll wait for it. If he hasn't sent out the order I would like it cancelled and my funds returned. It has now been 8 days since the first message was sent and 7 days since it was marked "In Transit" and not one of my messages have even been read. There has also been about 5 days total where he hasn't logged into his account (one 3 day period and one 2 day period).
Seeing as how he requires users like me to finalize, but hasn't contacted me about it, or responded to my request to cancel, or even log in for a few days I'm a bit nervous. I don't want this order to auto-finalize, nor do I want to go through the resolution center and ruin my buyer stats if I really don't have to. I feel I've waited long enough and given DQB plenty of time to respond to me, and under direction of another vendor I have decided to bring it out in the open. I have time-stamped screenshots of the messages I have sent and how long ago they were sent with the current server time visible at the bottom that I can provide if needed. I'm not sure what's going on, and I honestly have no idea who to contact so I figured I'd start here.
What course of action would be the best for me to take? Is there someone I should message? Or just wait the time and have SR intervene by "Resolving" the order.

With 420 the guy might be swamped. Or sick. Or all manner of things. Give it a bit and if you dont have your shit by 2-3 days before the autofinalize, resolve it using the process SR has in place for such things. Generally speaking, if you stay in escrow you'll get one of two things. Your goods, your money.

:o I'm in the same position, except I ordered ~2 weeks ago. It's got 3 days left before it Auto-finalizes....
Gotta search what to do next?! :-\

I was informed by SR Support that the Resolution Center doesnt hurt buyer stats and that's what you should do. I'll be waiting until two or three days before my order finalizes to do it, giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Well i'm in your boat, I had 2 days left til Auto-finalize so I clicked 'resolve' and added more time in good faith.
Odd though, I just checked and he has no current listings for sale?!

I submitted for a full refund. He requires users with my stats (only 2 transactions so far) to Finalize Early. Since I didn't finalize he shouldn't have sent the package and he won't be out anything.
He hasn't been online in 4 days and has no listing up. His vendor transaction count isn't showing anymore either, so I'm not sure what the deal is. Hopefully my funds can be released back to me from Escrow. Sorry to hear you're in the same boat.

It's been 11 days since I sent him my first message and he hasn't even read it yet. Or any of my messages for that matter.

I'm in a similar boat. Ordered on March 20th, and STILL waiting for my order (it's now week 5) and had no response from DQB at all.
I've sent him messages, but nothing's been responded to. I've pretty much lost my money.
Any ideas?

Well I would have requested a full-refund by now. (5 weeks :o) That's a really long time to expect any shipment. Maybe we need SR to step in, since he hasn't been on in ~5 days!? :-\

I have total faith that when an admin steps in they will do all they can to remedy to issue. My money is still sitting in Escrow, so I'd like to think there's a way to get that out and returned back to me. If you finalized early (or at all) there's a good chance you won't be seeing any of it again. Not quite sure how it all works, but the power of the admin on reaches so far. Sorry to hear there are so many others affected by the same thing.

My money is in escrow so I will hopefully be able to retrieve it if DQB has vanished! But give the guy a chance, I've vanished from work for periods of time. Shit happens in life and there may be genuine reasons DQB has not even been on the website.
My package is not late as of yet. It might be on the way but previous transactions from Holland usually see the package come pretty quickly. I am lucky as I had made enough transactions to be able to buy in escrow. Even so I am not sure of the situation if a dealer vanishes and money is held in Escrow here. We got to be paid back, right? But there will have to be leeway for the sellers here also. I would say that if a seller does not show up for 28 days the escrow ought to be paid back if no items have arrived.
I was going to order 5 grams of MDMA in the sale but I noticed that DQB had not been on the website for 24 hr so decided to use another vendor who has a good rep.
I do note that someone has finalized a deal with DQB today!!! Obviously they are not ahead of the game as it pays to read the forums and become a member. I review all those sellers I am thinking of buying off.
There have been only seven people who have received packages off DQB in the last five days. So he or she was sending out orders but maybe its selective. It would be useful if SR management took a look at how much is held in Escrow for DQB. I think a lot of people have finalized early also but the stats would show that I guess.
I hope my 6 white speakers arrive!!
If not I got the escrow and can buy some other decent pills.

Those who moan at the escrow system would be smiling if a dealer done a runner and the BTC was not finalized early.
Can SR staff comment on what we can expect if DQB does not show up?
I guess those who did FE will be screwed IF this is a midnight runner we have here.
I hope SR can freeze the escrow asap as times are hard and we need our BTC to work for us.
If DQB has some genuine reason for the absence then I apologize as would everyone else.

dude your moneys in escrow how the fuck have you been scammed by the dude. Making a thread saying "where is DQB" would be ok but instead you call him a scammer because he hasnt logged on in days. Your money is in escrow so he did not scam you. Do you understand that? Do you not know how escrow works? Way to make a great start on SR calling the first vendor you deal with a scammer when he didnt steal shit. You sent him a message before buying and he never got back to you, why you took that as a good sign to order with him i dont know.

I agree with lvl, the thread shouldn't be calling the guy out as a scammer. Maybe his house burned down, maybe his mom died, maybe he just needed a fucking break. If you stayed in escrow, you'll be fine. :) SR isn't some tossed together site with no consideration towards buyers. :D

Yes, upon reflection the thread title should have been named differently. However, aside from just the title i never accused him of scamming. Throughout the course of my first post all I was asking is what I should do.
He is not my first vendor, and I have sent him multiple messages over the course of 2 weeks. None of which have even been read. I can provide screenshots for that, if you so wish.
I am fully aware of how Escrow works, nor was I accusing anything about this site as "thrown together".
Yes, I was a bit hasty when it came to creating the thread. I am simply new and was wondering how problems such as this go about getting reconciled. In the future I will use more tact and better choice of words.

He's no the best at communicating but I don't think he scammed you. Wait longer? I know it sucks but he'll get back to you.
I've had an order lost with him but the refund went well and I would order again.

Nah man, I wasn't saying you said it was thrown together. I'm just sayin that SR takes care of its own. One way or another, you'll get yours. :)

Yes, tact is something that was severely lacking. I was upset and let that get the best of me. i do apologize for that. In the future I will definitely have more patience and understanding.

A better title for the thread would be 'Anyone else having problems with DQB'
But you do have a question mark on your thread title - its natural to worry if someone is not seen for five days but as stated here - maybe his mom died, his wife divorced him or his football team just lost a final.
Some have finalised early with DQB and the person who started this thread has stated its not the first purchase and DQB has not replied to any messages for two weeks which is way before when he or she or they went on a sabbatical.
There are no listings up either.
I think its fair we have a thread to see how many others are in the same boat.
But nobody is calling DQB a scammer. I might well get my parcel tomorrow but even if I do I still worry for other customers.
I hope all is well with DQB but suspect something is amiss. Life is like that. Even the best of us sometimes have a period were we cannot deliver on promises for a while.
Lets hope for the best.

I'm not calling him a scammer either, i'm just joining the thread to add that i've had recent issues as well.
I only ordered a 1gm sample, and my money IS in escrow.
ordered 1st week of April
he "shipped" the next day (in transit)
(what's odd is, he contacted me 7 days later to apologize for the delay, and he JUST shipped it out. ???) <- which I thought was against SR rules?!
So, I gave DQB the benefit of the doubt and added 7 more days to the 'extension'.
I haven't heard any responses back, and find it odd that all of his listings are gone. :o

There is a cancel option available; is there a standard expiry date afetr which it is no longer possible to cancel?
When you choose cancel - do the BC return to your account?

My order went to resolution and since all my coins were still in Escrow they were all returned to me. I hope everyone gets their problems worked out, especially DQB. I feel bad for the folks that FE on good faith.
