I've got an issue with package coming from Cal, US to the UK. The consignment is for a considerable amount cannabis and I have 3 previous successful transactions with this vendor of a similar amount previously.
Initially my suspicions we're raised as it took a while for US customs to clear the pack, but eventually it arrived at the UK International Hub. At this point after a telephone inquiry I got the UK tracking number, which led me to:
Parcel number:
EC********GB
Status:
Accepted
Parcel tracks: Date Time Location Tracking Event
17-04-2012 14:59 International Hub Received in destination country
14-04-2012 12:11 Delivery Agent - LOS ANGELES AMU Forwarded for export
13-04-2012 14:30 Delivery Agent - UNITED STATES AMERICA Collected from customer
It has just sat like that since the 17th????
What is my next move? Has anyone had any experience with a similar situation? I don't put my flat number when sending addressees and just a spoof company name, and street no./house name - this has caused a problem recently.
Should I sit tight? Or try ring the 'international hub'? Starting to get a little freaked out now! :\
Cheers in advance for any advise...

Go and get a pay as you go phone off the market or one of those Indian shops that are in every high street now, make sure to pay cash for it and buy a topup. Ring the international hub from it and check what is going on, DO NOT ring them from your own phone. Not sure if doing this will help you at all but it might fuck any deniability you may have if you call from your own phone to check the status of a package which you later deny ordering, if customs do indeed intercept it. Maybe put an accent on when you phone too?

Its parcel farce dude, they find it hard to manage normal deliveries, never mind controlled deliveries! Just call them and see.

so I did. the matey asked me a few questions (name not being one of them!??!) and aid he'd contact the Hub, find out what was up and call me back.
didn't get a call back.
has anyone got experience of parcels getting seized by UK customs and what the process is?
