My question is unrelated to a SR transaction, but would still be pertinent to this forum since I wanted to ask about recommended best practices for shipping. I've got a package I want to send from the US to Canada, prescription meds but not a controlled substance.
I've received what I believe is the recipient's real address, the party expects the package, and regrettably we discussed this on a non-tor forum. So, I want deniability on my end. UPS apparently requires ID to ship packages according to the sign at the local courier dropoff place. Does Fedex require ID to ship?
Regardless, I am thinking USPS priority -> Canada Post might be the best choice.
However, even if I apply appropriate postage, I'll still need a customs form.
Can you simply drop a small parcel in a USPS mailbox (in a nearby town) with a customs form attached to it?
How closely does Canadian Customs analyze their packages?
Will they detect the presence of foil packets inside using TSA-like x-ray machines?
It is of course not too late to bow out express my regrets to the recipient, I was going to send this to them for free anyway, it was just something I paid for and could not use, but they can, and I was just wanting to help them out free gratis.
Thanks for your comments.
