Is there any thread here that reviews the cheap over seas cigarettes? I can't seem to find one. Thanks in advance.

I bought some from vendor "Only" and everything was good. Two weeks about for shipping to the western USA. I'd recommend him.

don't know what country you're in but in case you're not aware of it, there's a big movement or market of RYO (Roll your own) & SYO (stuff your own) cigarettes, and perfectly legal. And the cigs look just like factory cigs, including the filter - i stuff a pack of smoke in about 4.5 minutes and i'm not racing. You can buy cig tubes with filters or without (don't think hand rolled doobies).
in the US, i'm stuffing my own cigs using pipe tobacco for $7.60 / carton to $22 / carton, depending on the tobacco i'm using (and i've got about 15 that i change around and even blend some)
the only differencec between pipe tobacco is the cut and the chemicals they put into cigarette tobacco (that they don't put in pipe tobacco). One example of a chemical is ammonia - Phillip Morris or Altria pioneered it down in brazil, but cig tobacco treated with ammonia, the nicotene hits your blood stream 33X (basically it becomes the "crack" of tobaccos) so the addiction is much much stronger. When i first started smoking SYO cigs, for the first couple of weeks my consumption went up (i had been smoking 2-3 packs a day) - then it gradually came down little by little till after about 10 weeks i was smoking 12-15 cigs a day. That initial climb in my consumption was due to my system looking for that "fix" from the ammonia treated cigs, then as it got used to the lower nicotene level, i didn't auto smoke like i used to. When i'm working, i don't smoke till i've got time to sit down and enjoy the smoke. In one of the RYO forums, one guy has a signature that sez "i used to smoke for the sake of smoking, i now smoke because i enjoy it".
no fire safety chem iin the cig paper causing it to go out every 10 seconds if you don't keep puffing on it. BTW, there are over 70 chemicals the FDA has approved for cig tobacco, that individually are safe for human consumption, but according to some retired FDA scientists (youtube video) those chems have never been tested in conjunction with each other much less what they become when combusted.
oh the reason for the cheap cost - cig tobacco is taxed by the feds at $25.80 a lb, while pipe tobacco is taxed at $2.18 lb. The cig mfgrs, with such a high tax rate on tobacco, have studied how to decrease the amount of tobacco in a carton of smokes - in the 70s, the average carton contained .76 lbs of tobacco, today the avg carton contains .46 lb of tobacco. That's about a $7.50 drop in their mfgring cost (ie the tax cost reduction). Now to make up for that less tobacco, they "expand" the tobacco (think as in terms of puffed rice) they expand it with CO2. Now because it's expanded, it burns faster and hotter than it used to, so to slow it down and cool it they added some chems - and those chems altered the taste somewhat, so to recreate the orig taste they added some more chemicals. you get the point
here's a link to one forum http://www.cigreviews.com/forums/ryo-roll-your-own-cigarettes/
check it out $7.60 a carton, and every smoking friend i've given some to, have flipped out. plus, after about 5 SYO cigs, the first factory cig you smoke after that, you'll taste the chemicals their leaving in your throat and on your tongue. They say it takes 3-6 months of smoking SYOs for your taste buds to come back fully.

The poster above speaks the truth about *some* pipe tobacco. Back when I smoked I used to get this stuff called "Red Cap" something or another pipe tobacco, it had a red jockey cap on the pouch. 99 cents for a big ole pouch, and it was just regular cigarette tobacco shredded a little coarser. They even had an offer on the back with a coupon for a pipe to legitimize it as pipe tobacco.
