Title: Silkroad bitcoin price not matching mtgox price..
Post by: gman00 on September 12, 2013, 11:43 pm
ok buds I have just noticed that the silkroad bitcoin price is not matching up with the mtgox price. silkroad shows bitcoin is worth 82 pound were as mtgox says its 87 pound . by pounds i obviously mean english money.. this is very annoying as lose value also i know not alot of people use mtgox anymore but the prices are the same when buying them off bitcoin vendors and on bitbargain etc. Would there be anychance of getting it sorted or have i been missing something ??

This has been addressed MANY MANY MANY times.  MtGox sucks.  No one should use it.  It doesn't hold the market share anymore.  No one can withdraw funds from MtGox so the MtGox BTC value is artificially inflated because people with funds stuck on MtGox must buy bitcoins to get their funds off of the website.  Please look at the value on campbx.com btc-e.com and bitstamp.net for an honest BTC value.  Bitcoins are still worth more on Silk Road than they are actually worth on a decent exchange.
