Title: Bitcopia & Bitcoin question
Post by: XxWINxX94x23 on November 13, 2012, 05:48 am
Hello everyone,

Due to the bitinstant bank transfers no longer existing(?) It seems a new method of obtaining bitcoin is in order. I've read successful accounts of using bitcopia to purchase them. Now, is Bitcopia also a wallet, like MtGox, or must bitcoins be transfered to a wallet like mtgox? FYI, I have blockchain and will be sending any and all coins there to be tumbled before sending to SR.

Would like some general info on Bitcopia and how it is similar/different from the Bitinstant bank deposits, or a faster/better way to get coin.

I'm in USA if thats important

Thanks!

I just used bitcopia for the first time today and it sends my btc directly to my blockchain wallet and then I send my btc from there to my SR address and it only took about an hour to get them there :) hope this helps!

"Bitcopia's transaction fee is a percentage that varies with volatility and demand. It is currently 4.9% as BTC price and demand are rising. The sell percentage is at 2.9% as it is on the opposite side of price and demand."
That was when I messaged Bitcopia in November 2012 about several questions I had and so I could get a feel for them. Always great communication. Still have yet to try. Hopefully, I will soon.
