why no laser printer? i got a label printer and print the addresses . if you use handwriting and they would caught you they will see you wrote it right?

Dont see the problem with laser problems. No way of identifying you from a laser printer, they are mass-produced.  Don't use an old clunky typewriter.  Miss Marple will get from that smudged "P".

Should be "don't use a COLOR laser printer". AFAIK the identification watermark is only present in color laser printers since it uses yellow ink.

Depends on the printer. Certain printers have that identification information in them, but they're listed on FSF's website.

What's a love letter, though?

if you can avoid it, NEVER USE YOUR OWN FUCKIN PRINTER!

search 'your laser printer may identify you'

When I do a love letter I usually just use a nice, heavy embossed paper, write with a calligraphy pen and give it a quick spray of perfume before I send it. A lipstick print on the flap of the envelope is a nice touch too.
May be that's just me though?

Wow. I thought the thread was going to detail an incredibly easy and profitable scam that occurred to me upon reading the title, but it turned into something quite harmless.
