Can you use baking soda to convert the HCl salt of any drug into a freebase?

no it has to do with the pH at which it is converted i believe

For the most part, yes.  There are better choices in most cases, such as aqueous NaOH or NH3.  But keep in mind that, unlike cocaine, the free base of many compounds are liquid.  All the common amphetamines are liquids as bases.  Working with liquid bases is more complicated than working with a solid base, such as cocaine.

But why do you ask?

lol, sounds terrible.

MDPV base melts at 209 degrees C, so it will be solid at room temp.
