Title: Why are most of the shroom listings for spore syringes?
Post by: FenderGuitarMan on June 04, 2012, 10:08 pm
The other day I was browsing the shrooms section (US vendors only) and I noticed almost everything is a spore syringe. I presume this is for growing them yourself. But I don't want to grow them, I want to eat them! I remember being in Amsterdam about 15 years and the Smart Shops had all kinds of different varieties including non-shrooms trips like Peyote. I was hoping to find variety like that here.

Secondly I noticed many sellers put them in chocolate. Is this to make less obvious that the package contains shrooms, or simply because people prefer eating them that way? I've always just chomped them up and swallowed. I've never had them baked into something.

Any advice on what the best product is in the US shroom market. Not looking to buy a lot... Just enough to get me through a Govt Mule concert with a smile on our faces (2 of us).  I've only done shrooms about a dozen times in my life (and I'm 50!) so I am relatively inexperienced but know that I have enjoyed them. Thanks for any tips and info!

In response to the chocolate comment, it's a bit of both shipping security and the fact that it tastes delicious when you eat it!  I've had some boomer chocolate that was the most delicious, richest fudgie-est chocolate that I had ever eaten!

Ah I figured as much. I'm open to trying the chocolate solution. I am diabetic so that's why I'm being a little anal about this. Chocolate is something I love but not on my approved diet! Chocolate is kind of a gateway drug for me in that once I start eating it my grocery basket will be filled with Rolos, Snickers, Cadbury...  :)

One explanation could be that it is way more economical to just grow a few shrooms and make dozens and dozens of spore syringes. I believe you could make a lot more money that way with much less hassel. Also, spores are not ilegal, so there is less presure on the vendor's part.
The spores for sale here are probably much more active and contain many more spores per ML than commercial vendors though. So if yolu plan on growing youself I might buy thrm here. Some clearnet vendors are downright rip-offs. Except for sporeworks.com. They rock.

yum Cadbury Cream Eggs! In reality the amount of chocolate in one of the shroom chocolate bars probably isn't enough to throw off my blood sugar or change my insulin levels!
