Title: UK Train Pass?
Post by: Wotsits on February 24, 2012, 04:33 pm
I realise this is a long shot, but if anyone knows where I could get a counterfeit train pass I would be eternally grateful; I end up having to spend so much money on train travel to commute its ridiculous.

Also, there's a chance I can get my hands on one of my mate's passes and could take a few pictures - if anyone could knock one up for me from that? As far as I'm aware they don't have holograms or anything, but I don't have access to a printer that can print card...

Thanks,
Wotsits

That request is just asking for a sloppy job. Surely you can do it yourself if the security measures are so low? Card printers aren't exclusively for fraudsters...

Yeah I agree, but card printers are seriously expensive from what I can see. to be honest I could do the photoshopping myself, but I'd still need someone to print it for me.

I've no clue on where you can get a fraudulent one, but I know you'd be able to easily get a legitimate disabled persons rail card which will at least give you some discount for you and a friend.

All they ask for is a copy of your DLA letter, easy to fake - plain, black and white printing. Could  just change the name and send it in. You can also get a cool CEA/Cinema card this way.

Also, I imagine you should add which area you're looking for....a London pass would be MUCH harder to fake as it goes through the machines all the time and is constantly deducting money etc etc.

Thanks for the idea, I'll look into it.

In the meantime, my area is in the south; Oxfordshire, largely dominated by First Great Western if that makes any difference.
