Title: Can orders still be shipped even though it says processing?
Post by: Melteno on January 17, 2012, 03:17 am
I ordered something yesterday, and it's 10:15 PM now while still processing. The guy is very trusted on SR and on his feedback everybody is complimenting him on how fast he is(usually gets there in 2-3 days after purchase). Is there a chance that he has already shipped it even though it shows processing?

Seriously? Anyway, it's a USPS holiday. Besides, a busy vendor, no matter how reputable, may not be able to get your shit to the post office until 48 hours after you order.

It can happen but like koala said this isn't a long delay.. and when you do get stuff shipped while it's still "processing" it's generally a sign of a decent, straight-up vendor (depending on how long the order was processing you could take a gamble, cancel and walk off with BTC & product).

The vendors that mark something in transit immediately then sit on the package for a week are the ones to watch out for...

Chill out & relax and I'm sure you'll have a happy ending come your way :)

I am having the exact same experience, and it's the first time this has happened. Normally things get marked as 'in transit' for me pretty quickly. Don't sweat it though, it'll come I'm sure.

Some people don't deliver every day of the week. You do know they don't just go dropping off hundreds of packages at the post office? They have to drive all over the place to ensure your package gets to you. They really do work hard.

I would give at least 3 days before even considering worrying.  I dont know why some people think robots are running these operations?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The seller is the one who marks it in transit after he ships it. I guess it's possible that he forgot?

Some people seem to think this place should run just like Amazon where 20 people are working on filling orders not just a one or two man operation. Personally I prefer to deal with those that are one man operations so as to to get the proverbial I thought my helper was doing it so it is his fault.
