Is it possible for someone to load any kind of script onto a public key.
after accepting and loading a key from someone I now have and unknow
service running that i am having trouble identifying. Also when I went
to shut down comp and kpgp was temporarily preventing the comp from shutting down.
Any Idea's? I am relatively new to linux and am having a hard time understanding
what exactly is going on here. I don't really see anything on Htop.
Is there anything else i can use to snoop this out?
I don't want to log on to the road until i know.
Thanks;
Christy

The chances of that being an attack are very (very, very) close to zero. If you're using a Linux flavor that's 64-bit and has ASLR, then it's even closer to zero. I'm not familiar with kpgp though, is there a reason you're using it instead of the more popular gpa or plain gpg?

Gnu Privacy Assistant and KGpg together. easy
and unkown service is now known - although i am too embarrassed to admit
in public what it was. too simple omg
lol looks to be a fluke of those things happening at same time.
Not really a fluke i had a couple things running at same time that weren't suppose to be.
Thanks;
