Hey,
I'm new here. Just received my first letter. Feels good man. :D
Had some random thoughts... you know, the usual paranoid kind of stuff we all know. ::)
Don't lick your envelopes!
...to avoid sending your DNA with the stuff.
Maybe i just helped some people who didn't think about that.
Maybe you know this already for a looong time ... but it's not in the Seller's guide, so I thought I could contribute this to these nice forums i just discovered.
In my past, i got caught by the police. After they took my fingerprints and DNA, they compared it to other unsolved crimes and busted me for the ones my fingerprints and DNAwould match (no big deals, I'm a nice guy actually.) Don't want to scare anybody, but it's good to prepare yourself, to minimalize paranoia. :)
Maybe the admin finds this to be useful and adds it in the Seller's guide. Don't want to lose good vendors, especially if they're all so nice like the one my first order was bought from. (This sentence may not be correct, ... german ... :D )
Just My 2 cents.
Nice forum!
See ya :)

its not in the sellers guide because it goes without saying.
No vendor would be dumb enough and if they are, well you just saved them ;)
Welcome to the forums.

haha, well ... I guess you're right :D

when i send my packages i provide a sperm and blood sample and a photo, so the buyer knows its me. am i doing it right?

He's not wrong and maybe some people don't think about things like that, especially when they are just starting out.

Not that this isn't a good safety measure, but you'd have to be a big ass fish to fry if they're going for DNA evidence.
-
this is why I use a damp tissue to seal my 'lickable' envelopes..

Very true ;)
My dog loves the taste of envelope goo. ;D

Something like this definitely goes without saying.

I'm going to need a stool sample before I can trust you

Honestly, I think it's a pretty sure bet that nearly every package sent contains some amount of DNA. As i understand it, forensics can now get a DNA profile on a very small amount of material (a single skin cell?).
While I'm not exactly licking my envelopes, there really isn't too much you can do to stop DNA from getting in there short of wearing a tyvek suit and working in a clean room.
A Poster above me made a good point --> you'd have to be a pretty big Kingpin.

it is easy to extract DNA from anything in movies. my friend been working in nucleic acids analysis lab, and according to him it is very difficult to extract DNA, if sample was not meant for collection of DNA. even some times they fail to extract DNA from clinical samples. no to say that DNA is very unstable.
more important to know that you have to wear at least double latex gloves, or better use cotton lined nitrile gloves and never use same gloves on different stages of packing and keep those gloves separate.

The thing is that DNA evidence costs money. If it's not a rape, murder, kidnapping, etc. they probably aren't going to try and spend the money it costs to build a case built around DNA evidence.
If you are a large scale vendor I can see the possibility of DNA, but if they already have you in custody to take your DNA then they probably already have enough of a case against you to not need it.
