Just received my first package and it seems all is well but I noticed a weird marking on the letter. There is a giant question mark written on the front of it in black ink. Is this something to worry about? Does anyone have any idea why some one wrote a question mark on the front of letter?

at a guess i'd say that somewhere along the delivery chain there has been some doubt about the address, ie my postman would do something like that if a letter in a different name came to my address.

Mostly its a query with the address not the contents iv had this a couple of times with packages not from SR that had a unclear address printed on it.

Did you use a fake/confusing name? Did you try to be clever and have it delivered somewhere odd?

The QUESTION MARK is a standard USPS marking.
It means you screwed up by using a fake name that they have never seen before with your address.

did you forget the end of your street name like i do. It ends in a direction so i forget all the time.
