I've seen many people posting about getting coins sent to a blockchain wallet, then to SR. I've also heard it isn't necessary since SR "tumbles" the coins anyways, but used as an extra precaution.
So I was wondering would you suggest making a wallet on blockchain? Or sending them directly to the road..

It all really depends on how sketched you are and if you want to pay the extra fees
when using a wallet
I have a blockchain wallet that I use and its always worked for me and extra safely is never a bad thing

I use a blockchain wallet as well.. and a desktop wallet if i plan on holding on to some coin for a while.

What are the fees associated with the blockchain wallet?

I think blockchain is 4%, but, don't quote me on that one. Only to send I believe

Always use a wallet. Never keep all of your eggs in one basket.

I'd recommend Electrum also as a desktop wallet. Simple to setup and use.
