Title: Quick question: printer linkage + return addresses
Post by: virmo_new on June 04, 2013, 08:34 am
Can the feds identify DYMO labels?

What about the printers of today? Should the colour cardridge just be removed? It could be that then the colours will never work again since of printer head drying. Or is that fixable by getting out the printer head and letting it sit in distilled water?
We read that some printers leave an invisible colour print on paper and labels. Is this true? How to see them? Also applies for labels?

For return addresses: Which is best: just making up a fake shop with an existing address? Or real shop with fake address?

Here's a list of printers that may be secretly embedding information, https://www.eff.org/pages/list-printers-which-do-or-do-not-display-tracking-dots

For return address do a fake shop with a real address. Make sure the box/post office is within a reasonable distance to the return address. If using multiple mail points, be careful they are not on the same mail route.
