Hey everyone i'm currently using liberte linux via usb and am planning to remake the usb as i didn't create a initial password on boot so anyone can boot into it if they want and i obviously don't want this. I just want to know how i backup my PGP key that i made and have imported into the GPA client along with all the other vendor keys i've imported over time.
thanks!

upload the vendors public keys to a keyserver?

Somewhat involved but the documentation section of the Liberte website shows, at the bottom, how to get a root console.
From there you should be able to mount another flash drive and copy the exported, from GPA, keys to it.
You might just copy the whole otfe partition, also discussed on that page.
I might work out the details and post back later.

Actually, if you are booting the stick on a computer with Windows on the hard drive you can mount the NtFS parttions using a gui by opening the file manager going to /media.
When you open an NTFS partion it mounts read/write and can be copied to.
Select all of your keys in GPA, or just ones you want, and export to the NTFS partition you mounted using the file manager.

Awesome thanks ill do that then! just figured out i select just my own key also and go up the top and make a backup of it which makes an asc file or something which i then reimport and after that reimport the big export file i made of all my keys which is encrypted just reference for others out there :)
