Like my subject says, is this safe? Are there any complications? I'm using a GreenDot MoneyPak if that makes any difference. I'm assuming it's safe but I'd like to be sure.

Never send BTC directly to SR from any location that might have your true identity or may have logged a real IP address when you did the transaction.
At a minimum, you need to run your own wallet on your own machine (run the wallet over TOR). Transfer from your exchanger to your wallet, then to SR.

Thanks for the advice. It's very much appreciated. However, what if I accessed the website via TOR and used a fake name, alternate email address created with TOR, etc.? Would that be okay, or is it better to have a wallet?
If I can't transfer directly from exchanger to SR, can I use exchanger to something like InstaWallet over TOR? If so, what's the preferred wallet?

If you can be sure that every contact you made with your Bitcoin exchange was anonymous then you are in good shape. Trouble is, the process of getting Bitcoins usually requires that somewhere, someplace, you give up some info about yourself. If you ever access that alternate email address outside of Tor, then there's a log of an IP address, and perhaps even your MAC address, that will likely lead back to you.
Using Tor to connnect to Instawallet or some kind of Bitcoin tumbler is a wise intermediate step for the transfer of your Bitcoins. Bitcoins are traceable, so you need to show that they were sent to another address that is presumably not yours.
Since Bitcoins can certainly be spent on lawful products, that payment could be for something like a donation to a charitable cause.

You can, but I would store my BTC on my local wallet, which connected to Net via Tor (Options -> check "Connect via socks4 proxy" checkbox, all data already there 127.0.0.1:9050 is Tor proxy on your local machine).
And then from my local wallet I would send to SR via InstaWallet using small amounts of BTC.
Storing BTC on your local PC means you need to encrypt your wallet info, when you are not using it.
TrueCrypt will help you, BitCoin stores its local wallet here C:\Documents and Settings\%YOUR_USERNAME%\Application Data\Bitcoin
