Title: The Game of Thrones Thread
Post by: Cyrax on July 17, 2013, 01:12 am
Anyone else watching this show or reading the books?

I think I will die off of old age before a new book is released or the new season premieres.

Just another reason to make a cloning machine as soon as possible, or at least make sure he is one of the first to become immortal so he can finally give us the damn book.

Because by the time he had finished all of them you would of been on your second great great grandson or granddaughter. I have a sneaky suspicion that his books will be written and finished by his children, and his children's children and his children's children's children, until the books become synonymous like the bible, with game of thrones cults popping up everywhere preaching about dragons.

Game of Thrones is amazing until the Red Wedding then it's a big pile of shit.

I mean, who the fuck cares who wins now?

The only reader/watcher-friendly character is a creepy paedeo's dragon-themed savage-raped platinum-blonde old-man's wank-fest.  (He even surrounded her by old, flawed, paedo-minded men who JRRM didn't realise was him when he was writing them.)

Not true.  The story continues to improve after the red wedding.  And really, who cares about who wins at all?  And who said that anybody wins?  I think the general theme to GoT is that life just sucks and the good guys don't always win.

As a reader/watcher I'm excited for where the story goes from here on out.  Don't worry, I won't give anything away.

It's pretty good I'm just amazed how the book readers haven't spoiled anything for this long.
