So I was daydreaming the other day, and I thought to myself, how great would it be if there was a country where you could just mind your own business, live self sufficient and grow/produce drugs for yourself just because working for The Man and general everyday life is pretty boring. Of course no country quite like this exists, so how could you make a new country? Well all the land discovered on earth is governed by someone or the other with a carrot up their ass.. so the obvious solution to my overactive imagination: Build a man made island in international waters 8)
Yeah it's far fetched and would cost billions but it doesn't hurt to dream right? And just case one of you is a future billionaire I thought I'd share my daydream with you ;D
Of course I'm not exactly sure what international law has to say about man made islands in international waters, but I fuck it I want a country called (haven't thought of a really good name yet, suggestions?) where like minded people can just do what they wanna do, within reason.
Who seconds this idea :D

Lol. This idea has "floated" around for awhile in the Libertarian community.

Ahh, I suppose all the best ideas have been thought of already, story of my life reinventing the wheel on a day to day basis. Still an awesome idea:D

Wouldn't cost billions and could realistically be done. Ever heard of Sealand?

I think some Saudi sheik did that years ago and it did cost billions.
