I'm about to make my first order here and im trying to get things right, i'm going to order 10 xtc pills from the netherlands to the USA, i know there's more of a risk it getting seized since it's coming from the netherlands but should i include my real name in the shipment? Should i take that risk or what should i do?

Kind of like the question "Where do I buy bitcoins?" there is no one good answer that covers all situations. Probably you should, unless you have a really good mailbox you know about, and can control--sometimes a house recently vacated, or a business where you can get to the mailbox before anybody else. I know common sense seems to tell us *never* use your own address, but the truth is, most of us get mail we didn't order, all the time, and this is just one more junkmail, sent to you. But if it's from overseas, and has a name the mailman is unfamiliar with, they might get curious. But if it's your name, maybe slightly misspelled, hey, anybody could have sent it...
The best thing--really!--is to go to the Security forum (and Shipping also, the one we are in) but start back from the beginning of the thread, and you can see lots of passionate, convincing arguments for both points of view. Best wishes...

i've read different responses but still unsure on which, if it was domestic i think i would have no probably using my real name. but with this, i was thinking of mispelling my first name and spelling my last name right?
how effective would this be?

All this is trial and error, there is no right way to do something wrong.
Nor is one method better then next when it comes to names or receiving address.
I understand what you would like is a fool proof perfect method but it does not exist.
Most people through trial and error, received packs, lost packs, love letters and what not
tend to find what works best for them.

My personal opinion is yes, use your real name... Specifically, a variation of it that is only associated with SR. The mailman knows who lives at your address. He delivers mail there everyday. Why throw up a red flag or make him wonder who the new resident is?
Example: If your name is John Smith, have your packages from SR addressed to J. Smith. Don't use J. Smith for anything else. If you are ever asked to sign for a package addressed to J. Smith, you'll know something isn't right, as SR vendors do not send packages that require signatures. I'm sure there are exceptions, but I wouldn't feel comfortable being one of them.
Maintaining plausible deniability requires a bit more effort than simply not using your real name. Cops and judges have been mailed drugs by people holding grudges... Anyone could do the same to you, right?
Others may disagree, but in the end, you stand alone when you open the mailbox. Do what you feel comfortable doing, but base your decision on your own circumstances. Using a fake name is just one more complication that can foul up an otherwise smooth transaction.

This may be true, but you're always better playing it safe just in case some rookie postman wants a raise.
Using your own name will make it seem like your regular mail, won't raise any flags unless it smells/sounds like drugs. Read the thread on here somewhere with the postal intern answering questions, lots of good info there.

I am so intrigued about US posties!! I seriously am.
They know who lives at your house?? WOW.. they must really care.
They know the names of every person on their run?
It is the same postie that has been delivering in your area for the last decade/month?
They never assume you may have a guest, tourist, somebody moved into your spare room for a few months? No because that would be suspicious!! ::)
Everyones mail gets diverted AS soon as they leave the premises (sold or new tenants)? Mail never gets delivered if that person does not live there anymore? The postie just knows?
Do yourselves a favour once and for all... think up the worst/funniest fake names and businesses and post yourself a tester. Add a couple grams of some random legal powder (ie FLOUR) rub weed juice all over it and see how many get delivered. Try it. I have.

Yes they do. Houses sometimes have the surname of the owner on the mailbox. It is common at apartment complexes to have a little sheet of paper inside your box with the names of the people on the lease on it. Aside from that, its the exact same names, 6 times a week, every week. Sure you could get away with a fake name here or there but you have a higher chance of it not getting delivered. Think about it
"Hmm...bill for Smokey McPot, Advertisement for Smokey McPot, another bill for Smokey McPot....and a package going to the same address for 'Toke E. Mon' that smells/looks/feels suspicious"
And yes, mail for guests/tourists does happen but honestly, not often enough. A package sized or even a larger than a standard envelope to a fake name would be shady as fuck. The laws regarding names here are much different and US authorities assume anyone receiving mail with a fake name or using fake documents to open the box is doing something illegal. Much stiffer penalties. Not worth the risk unless you're into some high dollar shit.

That'll be fine, and, I suspect, is how most people who don't have some secret setup somewhere, actually do it...I always try to 'be prepared' too, u know, shocked if something weird happens, and a story if I need one...but most people's mail gets misspelled all the time, and if your address is right, it won't matter...I have had mailmen ask me if people lived at my house, if it was not my name, but I think that is just *some* mailmen, others don't give a shit: their pension is secure :)
