Title: BTCmaster - Any issues sending him money or getting coin ?
Post by: latitude05 on January 11, 2013, 03:48 pm
Seems almost to good to be true , send some vendor money UPS and you get coin at a cheaper rate than anywhere else .

Curious if anyone sent money and didnt get coin ???

He seems like a legit vendor but just would like some reassurance.

Reply with how much you sent and how fast you got your coin .

Lets think about this for a second, and answer your question with a question.

Why would someone sell you bitcoins for less than they could get at mtgox.com?

Lets ask the same question again: Why would someone sell you bitcoins for less than they could get at mtgox.com?

The answer is: They wouldn't.

Buying bitcoin isn't illegal. Just buy it from legal avenues like mtgox or bitinstant. If you are in the USA, use Dwolla to fund your mtgox account. Only 25 cent fee.

Maybe they have a large chunk of BTC from being a Vendor on SR and need the cash... hello ..

Supertrips even talks about him on his profile ...not sure why he would say that and vouche for a scammer ?

latitude05,

I am not saying he is a scammer. I am asking why he would give YOU a better rate than he could get at mtgox. There is a small fee at mtgox, but the more bitcoin you sell there, the lower the fee. Also, 'money laundering' cannot be a motivation since bitcoins are not money, cash is money and getting more cash means that you have unexplained money.

Good luck, anyway.

I've used BTCmaster a couple times when I was new here and he pulled through. Could be a selective scammer, who knows, but he worked for me. Just use Bitinstant, it's faster and safer.

https://bitinstant.com/

I mentioned it in both my posts to you.

It is legitimate, there is no risk of losing your money.
