Title: living on a boat, where to ship?
Post by: chimpchamp on June 02, 2013, 04:54 pm
I know it's not recommended to send to a UPS box . . . but what to do in this situation?

Shipping to a PO box is essentially the same as shipping to your house, lots of people use PO boxes.  If LE wants to bust you, they'll do it at your house, or at your PO box.  The advantage to a PO box is they don't know when you're coming, because you could pick it up at any time.

i would think some marinas would allow you to use their mailing address for a nominal fee.

just tell them you just bought the boat and are traveling up and down the coast :)

heck i would love to live in a boat :P

Good Luck to ya  :)

There are some upsides to that though, if cops try to bust you, just go in international waters!
