Title: Reduce forum time stamp resolution
Post by: DrBenway on November 29, 2011, 04:38 am
I suggest that time stamp resolution for forum posts be reduced from seconds to minutes, and last activity resolution be reduced to hours or days. This would make timing-based attacks on anonymity somewhat more difficult to mount. The current last activity resolution of one second is particularly worrisome to me.

Looks like resolution has now been reduced to minutes across the board. This is better, but I'd still like to see last activity use hours because it provides many more data points than posts do.

I completely agree!
