Title: questions about bitcoins
Post by: Mr.NiceGuy on October 10, 2012, 11:27 pm
I'm fairly new to this website and i'm still just starting to wrap my mind around GPG encoding, but bitcoins still kind of puzzle me....
Where whats the best way to go about buying bitcoins?
I'm sort of familiar with Mt.Gox but it seems like they want a lot of personal info from me, so i'm just wondering if theres a different just as or more so secure site I can use.
Or, if theres some sort of tutorial that would help as well. And which is better an online wallet or the bitcoin.org wallet? I just want to know the best way to keep my wallet safe and secure away from prying eyes.

Thanks for the links i checked them both out, ive got a better idea on the whole thing now. I saw you mention something about trustcash and putting in a fake name...This is still a secure and trustworthy way to buy coins, right? No MP?

I think i'm going to try my luck with bitinstant using a bank deposit...seems pretty simple to me. Only would put my trust in sending 20-30 bucks the first time till i get the hang of it. Thanks again dudes!!
