Title: SR logging-in
Post by: dmtforlife on February 06, 2013, 10:54 pm
Welcome!
This is my first post here. I have little problem with logging to Silk Road. After I enter my user name, pass and rewrite letters and numbers from picture, after clicking on go, I do not enter SR, but I enter loging-in page again. What seems to be the problem? Is this common for SR?

No it's not common. My guess is that you typed your username or password wrong. :)

If you use this URL - http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad - and the correct username, password and type the letters/numbers in the captcha correctly, there is no reason you shouldn't be able to log on.
Ron Swanson, if it takes you 3 tries to log on to SR, there is a problem. That is not common as zeromancer posted. It's not possible as long as the site is up and running, that when you copy/paste your password, you're still not able to log on. You must be either typing in the username or more likely, the captcha incorrectly. Occasionally, Tor may time out when connecting to SR but it's not often at all. Once you refresh the page, it logs on.
