Title: Interview with the owners of Atlanis
Post by: OzFreelancer on April 26, 2013, 08:34 am
Last night I interviewed the owners of Atlantis Marketplace.  I've written it up here:  http://allthingsvice.com/2013/04/26/interview-with-a-virtual-drug-tsar/

Draw your own conclusions :)  Happy to answer questions.

Recommended read, honestly I don't see Atlantis getting too big...

If it's not broke, don't fix it!!

I get my supplies just fine using the road!

Nicer selection too!

But who knows I might be ordering a year from now, who knows!

at the time Silk Road started, there was no knowledge of internet drug trade outside a few uber-geeks, and no incentive for the law to create such a honeypot.
I was on at least six other online drug markets before Silk Road was around.  There are still people selling from back then.  Some of them supply Silk Road vendors.  Some are also in prison.

Marketing started with an advertisement in the ‘Newbie’ section of Silk Road
I first read about it on bitcointalk.  One of the founders posted it on bitcointalk before I ever saw anything about it on SR.

On bitcointalk they said something like "if we want litecoins to go up in value like bitcoins we need a underground marketplace like Silk Road"

From what I read on there I personally think they have shit tons of litecoins and want them to go up in value.  Litecoin miners perhaps.
