Title: More Bitcoins Stolen...
Post by: Creatio on June 25, 2013, 03:45 pm
I've had another 2.5 bitcoins stolen from me...

So fucking tired of this. My security was completely compromised, i guess.

Now i guess it's time to change everything.

ANOTHER? sounds like someone is either targeting you or you're doing something really wrong

change wallets, never keep it all in 1 place, use offline backup

I always say the bits gotta keep movinggg

The first time, it was just a mere bitcoin in my silk road account, which was only still there because i had fallen asleep in front of the computer planning on buying something. Usually i wouldn't have kept a bitcoin in my account overnight.

This second time, the bitcoins were in my quote-unquote "completely secure" off-site wallet. Someone, somehow, gained access to my account, and sent bitcoins to another wallet. 2.5 to be exact.

I have moved wallets, saved an offline copy, etc, etc. Hopefully it won't happen again.

Damn, after reading this I should really take more security precautions. Sorry for your loss.

Are you sure you're not infected with a keylogger or something?

Someone defly has their hands in your computer man. It's better to figure this out before you lose more money.
