Title: PM received, might be phishing scam
Post by: marimba on July 15, 2013, 12:15 pm
I thought I'd post this in the newbie section so everybody is warned.
I just got a PM from MellieStiel67035 that says:

Are you tired of browsing through 100's of Silk Road listings just to find the best deal?
We are too!

Try the New Tool That Makes Silk Road Much Easier To Use:
   * Sort Listings by $/mg to quickly find the best value
   * Filter by where listings ship from
   * Filter by total price, seller rating, and more!

Check it out at:
Code: [Select]

http://xxxxxxx.onion/?u=581

I've deleted the address just in case.
The site looks like SR, it's called SR advanced (beta) and might well be a phishing scam.
I advise you DO NOT USE YOUR SR ACCOUNT DATA ON THAT SITE!

Also got that message, can't remember what their username was but they had no posts and it sounded like a scam so I deleted it.

Thanks for the advice.

shame its a scam. silk road needs to enable geo-filtering at least.

still, we make the best of it for now.
