Title: Delivery to Germany: residential address or "Packstation"
Post by: rarity on March 04, 2012, 01:56 pm
Hi there!

I am quite new to SR.

I have a "Packstation" account at DHL. Is it safer to use the residential address or the "Packstation" ?
Both represent my real name.  8)
If you made any experiences I would be very happy if you could share them.

Friends sent me some weed to the "Packstation" a couple of times. And there was no problem.
But what do the experts say?

Have a great Sunday!

Having your name registered makes the Packstation the same as your mailbox dunnit, lol?

Frankly, I think you got better deniability with your home box than a packstation. IF a shipment were indeed to get popped, with your home address you can always claim some jackass is trying to fuck with you or whatever.

However, with a packstation, it's gonna be hard explaining why someone would have that station#s address to begin with. So now you would have to at least explain who has your packstation address. With  a street address you're like, wtf, it's in the phone book, dinnt order that....
