Title: I want to learn how to make moonshine.

Does anyone have instructions on how to make it and what I need for the still? . I was hoping to be able to use material from like a lowes with out doing any major fabricating like welding, etc

After watching I think vice's video Africas moonshine epidemic, I was quite interested in making my own, but I'm sure It would be quite the process nonetheless... Would love to try some though! Sorry if this isn't helpful, bump! 8)

Watch "The Last One", a doc about the late great Popcorn Sutton. Most educational video and most entertaining I've ever seen!

Probably have to search around for plans. I know I've seen one some years back that used mostly copper tubing such as from hardware stores. Then I think just refrigeration grade lead free solder. Some of the larger diameter copper tube esp the thicker wall is hard to bend; might need a mandrel bender to keep from crushing it. Or some people I have heard put sand in and cap the ends when bending and supposedly get good bends that way. Usually discard the heads and tails to get rid of the methanol, octanol, and other non ethyl alcohols.

Start small, as long as your not selling it I think you would be able to practice and perfect your procedure, till your hearts content.  i've always been interested in taking up this hobby.  There are a ton of great resources online, here are a few:
