Title: Whats my ISP see?

Just wondering if anyone knows what my ISP sees when i connect to like this: VPN>TOR?

If they cared and checked they could tell your using tor but what tor does it makes sure they can't tell where your going.

If you'll forgive this analogy, its like tint on your windshield, some states have some pretty strict rules about it but at the end of the day most cops aren't going to pull you over for that.

Thanks Doc. In theory if I connect to a VPN first before I connect to TOR then the traffic would be encrypted from my network adapter>ISP>TOR correct?

Did I not mention VPN, it's like your reading my mind! Get out.

From what I understand using a vpn to access tor will hide the fact your using tor from your ISP.  But can't the vpn service see your exit node traffic?  I am unsure about that myself you would have to trust the vpn.

I don't think it's a problem that they can tell you're using TOR..... yet.

They can see a lot my friend. DNS requests, i.p range and requests and yes they do log everything.
