What a mess. I don't know how to give Humboldtsfinest the benefit of the doubt. He is now shut down on BMR. Don't FE to this guy! Stay in escrow.
The SR vendor doesn't require FE unless you have no history. Strangely they were offering the same product, and same sales, same pictures, same PGP key.
Another daily FE scam. This guy swore he could be trusted. Held my funds after I wouldn't FE. BMR support returned my funds. Same crap, he is honest vendor, attacks by current buyers on forum. Blah, Blah, oh boy, a scammer! The guy was around 1 week asking for FE, cause he gets it on SR. Changed his home page after purchase. There was a wave of good reviews after I made the 1st buy to prove he wasn't a scammer. Guess what? He is a sacmmer. The guy on BMR. How did he use the same PGP key? Interesting.......

"hey guys. im back from vacation! listings will be up 1/2/13 evening
also, im hearing about some one on BMR using my name... IT IS NOT ME! apparently he is using my pgp?? i HIGHLY doubt that because my password is very long... but i also dont have time to look into this my self because i will be very busy this week getting you guys all the bud you've been missing these last few days.
so if any one wants to look into finding out if this guy is truly using MY pgp. fellow buyers and i would be grateful..."
If I was a vendor, I spent some time finding out WTF is going on using your name, and PGP keys, users, and product. You get phished ::)
How is that possible? How could he ship? Why did buyers from SR stand up for him on BMR?
Watch this latest drama. Stay away from these guys until this stuff is sorted out.
How many examples you do people need? Stop leaving yourselves open. Follow SR guidelines!
All we are saying is give FE no chance!

here is a message from one of my awesome customers looking into the situation.
Okay, so I've looked into the BMR counterpart. From the references I will give at the bottom of this message, I conclude that while he is using your PGP key it seems to be a false-flag attempt to gain customers rather than actually being able to use it. You are well viced it seems in security and PGP, so we both know PGP is very secure and the chances of this scam user being able to decrypt messages with your key are astronomically low. I have seen him on BMR as I frequent it now and then (never made a purchase - I don't like losing money) and have sent communication for verification, however now that you have openly identified him as a scam account I made a few other profiles and tried to message him through PGP as my initial message was asking for authentication, and the latter are request for believable requests or questions that he would most likely answer IF he can decrypt your key. No PGP messages have been answered.
This username is HumboldtsFinestBMR (Link 1) and he started on BMR on December 17th, 2012 and seems to be on on a consistent basis daily.
He does not sell in similar amounts as you do. He sells in 1 Ounce (Link 2) and 1.5 Gram (Link 3) amounts.
He also sells items that I have never seen on your roster of items for sale, such as MDMA Crystals (Link 4), Cocaine (Link 5) and even Video Games (Link 6).
His profile is a copy and paste of yours with a few items changed, and some parts left out (most likely parts you have added to your profile after December 20th, when I first caught the profile on BMR)..
The PGP key is the same and directs the email to Humboldt@tormail.net
He is a Level 2 Seller and has 23 feedback so far, however there are no reports of deliveries and multiple feedback reports scam (link 7).
Most Feedback reports either scam, come from a relatively new buyer, or otherwise indicate that he required FE.
He does not seems to actually send a DCN and postpones and delays the items as much as possible to make the feedback be positive for the longest time. (Link 8)
Conclusion: HumboldtsFinestBMR does have your PGP key, however he cannot decrypt it and is already starting to be labeled a Scam Vendor. He does not appear to be a significant threat to your business and a general assessment would find that the profile is similar, near exact, but the feedback and products offered are vastly different in both type and quantity, leading most to assume that it is a separate vendor than you.
While the scammer does seem to be using your pgp key and even getting some BTC, from his current sales calculated by adding up only FE orders and ruling our disputed and new buyer orders, in that amount of around 100BTC-150BTC over the course of 18 days. However, his profile is in decline and he will fall into the list of scam buyers soon.
I have already notified BMR of this issue, as have several other customers I assume. Once it reaches BMR support in numbers the profile may be taken down, however his feedback should suffice in grounding his account and BTC flow.

Scammer. Do not FE with this guy. fake/no DCN. I'm glad I didn't FE so I can dispute! Report him/change feedback to help others!!!
====================================================================================
conclusion: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ANY "NEW HUMBOLDTSFINEST" WITHOUT CONFIRMING THAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY ABLE TO DECRYPT MY OFFICIAL HUMBOLDTSFINEST PGP KEY

Thanks for your report, he was shut down as of today. That was after a long week spell of posting why you shouldn't sell to me. I agreed, if you are scammer, don't sell to me. All scammers require FE. Not all vendors who require FE are scammers, but why chance it?
While most of the above is true. I will point out he had the same exact listings, and the same Christmas sale, with the same pictures. Using the same PGP. If you encrypted your data, you should be ok.
From now on, I will only communicate with unknown vendors with their key. Lesson learned.
The only clue was his demand for FE, and reaction when you refused. While this Humboldtfinest does not require FE for all buyers. That should have been a clue.
He made a bunch of fake sales from supposed SR buyers, and faked the reviews.
This could have taken much longer, but some self-appointed FE gestapo exposed him for what he was, a FE scammer!!!
All told, it took 2 weeks to bag his ass. One week of getting bashed in the BMR forums.
Smack my ass all you want, FE vendor boys, and sympathizers. This couldn't have happened without the "FE loop hole"
Since he never was going to send out a thing. Wanted FE from the first sale. Me!!! I thought it strange he got 6-9 review 24 hours later. All the while telling us he was a trusted vendor on SR.
Good news, but new scam tactics to be aware of.

btw, you may wonder why the scammer used the name (humboldtsfinestBMR) and not simply (humboldtsfinest) thats because the user name (humbldtsfinest) on bmr belongs to me!
i made an account there about the same time i made the SR account so that no one else could rip my name off. it has since been demoted to a level 1 account because i didn't use it for months.
i messaged bmr staff about giving me my lvl 2 account back...

Thanks, his timing was perfect including the vacation. I do remember him repeating the vacation dates, but he didn't go on vacation ;)
From now on, I'm going to PM vendors back on SR via PGP.
he only started a few days before Christmas so damage was minimized with everyone's help.
Thank you for your input. You seem like a very good vendor ;D
