Let's face it. It's risky, but its an accepted fact that some vendors ask for early finalize, and some consumers are okay with it.
Only and mrYellow come to mind as vendors with good feedback who do the FE thing. I know there are others.
By acknowledging that new vendors shouldn't ask to FE, SR is demonstrating their approval of this practice.
So why not have a "release coin early" button along side the finalize and resolve buttons? That way, qualifying orders could still stay in escrow and be evaluated by admins if need be, but vendors who choose or need FE to stay in stock can do so within the bounds of our escrow system.

What would the difference between your proposed button and finalising early? o.0

The difference would be that be that even though the coin has been released, silk road could still monitor the order, and take special action if need be. Not sure if that would be in the form of flagging accounts as potential scammers, or auto-deducting an agreed on percentage from the vendors next deposit to compensate. Those are details that would need hammered out sure.
If nothing else vendors could be made aware if an FE buyer hasn't received a product and hasn't chosen to give the vendor a chance to rectify the situation.

That would defeat the purpose of FE from the sellers perspective, because it would still rely on the buyers honesty. What would the "special circumstances" be?
