Title: Attention: UK citizens
Post by: Oldschool on April 25, 2012, 04:51 am
Stumbled across this little gem today,

Citizens in the United Kingdom must, upon request, give passwords for decryption of personal systems to authorities. Failing to do this can result in imprisonment for up to two years, without evidence of other criminal activity.[3]

Google RIPA, this is a well known piece of legislation that enforces it.

Proving you have the password is of course another entirely seperate issue.

As its impossible to prove you don't have something.
