I know. I did something dumb. I can accept and learn from it.
On 12/19/12 the checkout process on Silk Road was broken. When i added items to carts and my address it directed me to SR "send bitcoins to a member" page. After i and "Kingofadderall" exchanged few emails and I read his feedback, I sent my Bitcoins directly to him, with my address and order detail.
Vendor said he will ship "next morning", but can "not provide me with the tracking number... because of security."
My order did not arrive in a week and the vendor stopped answering my emails, asking him where is my package in transit.
Nothing was EVER SENT. The vendor does not reply anymore and has taken down all his listings. No refund.
I am seeking reimbursement from SR for the amount of purchase: $74.35
HE HAS ALL POSITIVE FEEDBACK, BUT HE SELECTIVELY SCAMMED ME B/C I TRANSFERRED HIM MY MONEY DIRECTLY. DO NOT BUY FROM HIM! >:(

I hope you learned something? Sorry for your loss. SR Support can't help you unless you stay in escrow.
Every single day somebody gets ripped off because they don't follow the rules. Dust yourself off, and try again.

Thanks Uniwiz!
I'm dusting myself off. It just sucks that escrow was broken that day, I should have been patient and ordered when it was back up.
He is still acting like he sent it my product out, but that's an old lie.
Def. last time for that!
DON"T BUY FROM THIS GUY! SCAM!

Why isn't there a VENDOR BLACKLIST sticky for buyers here? Just a list of names of vendors who have fkd us over and should never be used again. It has been said there is a BUYER BLACKLIST on the vendor forum so why not here? I wonder what that looks like and if it is useful or if it's the same bullshit search all over for user names like here.

Just looked at the scam sticky thread. If that is like the vendor blacklist good luck reading through all that garbage to find names.

LEFTY-
when a buyer wants to check out a vendor all they have to do is search for their name on the forums and they will find posts that tell the buyer that that vendor is a scammer.
that's how you can find out.

Yep, go into the rumor mill forum, put the vendors name in the search box (on the top right), and be amazed!
