Game review of "Fez" by Mike Matei
It's a shame it's Xbox only.

Ya, I'm waiting on a PC version to come out before I play it. Looks like a pretty cool game though.
But if you want to play a really tripped game, my #1 recommendation is Botanicula by Amanita Design. Very chill and relaxing point and click game play, but with some fun and challenging puzzles, and great art design with a lot of psychedelic imagery. It's like the perfect game to play when you're really baked and want something that's pretty chill.

Thanks for the tip :)
Another awesome game is Beat Hazard Ultra. Check it out on YouTube.

That looks like a pretty sweet game! I'm not a huge fan of shooters, but I'll keep it in mind. Makes me think of Symphonia, which I purchased a bit back in a bundle but have yet to play (same bundle in which I purchased Botanicula fwiw <3 gog).
Still though, after playing Botanicula I have a hankering to find other games where psychedelic experience was an explicit part of the design decisions/art style/etc. (Check out the 9:30 mark in this vid for instance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y58OYaX5TvY). It was such a pleasant surprise to see the psychedelic mindset given such a loving homage in this game (not just the bit I reference in the youtube video, it's a core component of this game's design). Honestly, I'm thinking Botanicula might be unique in this regard.
