Title: Bitcoin Central
Post by: imjusthereforthe on November 23, 2012, 02:05 am
Okay so is it safe, if im just a normal buyer, to deposit straight to SR from Bitcoin central? If it's not safe, should i just send to a wallet on blockchain and then to SR?  Is bitcoin central good? Do I use a real email when signing up?  Does Bitcoin central have fees of some sort? Im in the US.

Is it safe ?? Probably , but its hard to say for sure. There is no way the authorities could know for sure weather any particular bitcoin address is being used on silk road (unless they have access to the SR servers) . You should always generate a new address on SR for every deposit. There is no harm in bouncing your bitcoins through a few wallets before they get to SR.

Ok, so my remaining questions: is bitcoin central good and used for getting money from my bank to the wallet? Cause if so, ill put my money on there and then threw a new blockchain address every time.

edit: also, do i use a real email?

Please guys lol I have the money, know what i want, and know where to ship, know how to use pgp, but I want to get bitcoins in a safe way and with the least amount of fees. I dont know if bitcoin central lets me turn my money from my bank into bit coins for free, if i should use a real email, or if i would be better off going through a vendor on SR or what... please help me out. I read all i could but i can't seem to get a good method. i've been ready for days :(

The guy who runs it is on bitcoinforums every single day since day 1, it's safe. You can call him, look up the company, go to their office in France, ect.
