Title: A Blockchain check shows QuickBuy scam has Failed
Post by: Funbagz on December 18, 2012, 11:22 pm
I just manually typed the QuickBuy scam's bitcoin address and checked the blockchain.

This address has no funds
<clearnet>http://blockchain.info/address/1X7ePX18AaiGVce7vc35JbK5XSx2XyWGQ</clearnet>

So at this time it looks like nobody has been taken by this scam and all their efforts will be in vain.

It doesn't have to be a financial success. Maybe that isn't the intention. The market has been DDOS'd and attacked all month, and this forum bitcoin scam doesn't seem like it makes any money either.

So you need to look into other options.

I believe Pine posted a thread on forum and website control and diversion tactics..

Undermining the security or reputation of SR is similar in my opinion to an attack on any other sovereign nation. There has to be reasoning behind it, and I think it's more about discrediting and disrupting operations.
