Does bitfog work as a cointumbler or is it a scam?
-
I ve never used it but a lot of people here do, and claim it works fine.
I would trust it with small/medium amounts.

it works

Not a scam.

Not a scam.
I would instead say: at the current time it does not appear to be a scam.
I have used Bitfog a few times now with no problems at all and I definitely recommend their service. However, TORWallet worked perfectly for quite a while as well. I guess the only thing you can do is never send more than you can lose.
An alternative to a "traditional" mixer is to use other services that use shared wallets. Many on-line casinos that accept Bitcoins also allow you to use anonymous accounts. Sending a number of random transactions to a casino account and a number of random transactions from a casino account should essentially be equivalent to the Bitfog service. Plus you can play BlackJack while you wait for your transactions to confirm. :P

I just used BitFog. Should I expect the transfer from there to here to take the entire 6 hours that the required me to click?

I think its a waste of money..

I used BitFog last night for the first time and it worked just as it states it should. I deposited the BTC's and it transferred them to my SR Wallet in small amounts over the period of 6 hours.
