Title: Search Engines and You Tube videos on Tor.

Hello good people.

Can someone please shed some light on this for me because I am pretty god damn stoopid. What search engine is safe to use on Tor? like is Google safe? And also why cant I watch You Tube videos. PLEASE HELP ME!!

I'd use startpage and not google, you have to go through captcha all the time with google anyways. I don't know about youtube videos, what do you mean exactly?

Yes, when i go into YouTube on Tor It comes up saying video is unplayable. There is a snake or something in a little circle on the top of the YouTube video (honestly there is) that when you click on it comes up with a lot of mumbo jumbo which allows you to maybe watch the video? Sorry I haven't really explained that too well.

Anyhoo thanks for the help. I shall check out this start page thingy you talk about.

Flash wont go through TOR the way it comes set up.  I can watch low quality youtube videos when I set my flash to go through TOR.  You can also download low quality videos and watch them simultaneously.  Search engines are fine.  Startpage gives shittier results than google so I just use google and enter the captcha when I am asked to.
