Title: package intercepted
Post by: junkzero on June 21, 2011, 11:34 am
Hi guys!

It seems that some stuff that i was waiting for was intercepted. Now, I am waiting for some other orders on the same address also. Will they arrive, how do you think ?
Basically, will they put some "special" attention to packages coming to this address ? Anyone has expirience like that ? (EU country) :(

But why exactly do you think it was intercepted?

if something's been intercepted you'll know about it sooner or later, usually you get a letter saying what's happened and if you just ignore it you should be fine, unless it was a really big order in which case they're probably attempt a controlled delivery.

as for whether they'll be watching your address i don't really know, suppose that depends on what your specific country does

This was a hard week for sellers and I know there were lots of delays but legitimate sellers do not get intercepted (unless the buyer does something dumb.)

It either wasn't packed properly (looks suspicious or smell etc) or its down to random spot checks with k9's (no-ones fault) How can the buyer do something dumb to get their package intercepted? Its nothing to do with the buyer.

Having the perfect package does not rule you out from spot checks. It is going to happen occasionally no matter how good the packaging is.

In the UK though its far far, far more likely that your package will simply get stolen. happened to me many times, money taken out of birthday cards, tracked parcels even going missing, parcels ripped open for a nosy. The effing lot. The 'royal' mail are a bunch of thieving scumbags.

If it ever gets there, be wary. They might be attempting a controlled delivery (they deliver it and then see if you accept it and keep it). Don't sign for anything. Make sure you don't have anything illicit in your house when the package gets there. When you get the package, store it in a location that's not your home. If they search you, you'll want to come up clean.

what was that stuff and how much of it was there?
I got lucky and got prescription pill from US to UK in 8 Days
maybe it is because of quantity or method of delivery?

That's bullshit.  Even legitimate sellers have packages intercepted by customs, even when the buyer does everything right.  Not sure what fantasy world you live in where sellers are infallible and buyers are not.  Both buyers and sellers make mistakes sometimes.

Give me an example! All the buyer does is pay and wait, forgive me but i think its the sellers job not getting caught...

Almost every time a package hasn't arrived for one of my customers it has been their fault. Usually they mess up the address or give a fake name. So as a buyer its important to double check your address and use a real name for your order.

I think when it comes to international its more of a mutually shared risk between the buyer and seller because the real worry is customs seizing your shit. So with these orders both parties should do everything they possibly can to make sure the transaction goes smoothly.

So many dickheads in the forums calling scam or blaming the sellers packaging if they don't get something.  There are whole teams of people with dedicated technology trying to stop border controlled substance's coming through of course some stuff is going to get intercepted no matter what.  Just suck it up or else get off SR and stop adding more stress for the vendors.  Better still, if you are so confident that nothing gets intercepted, order a few kg's and start vending and show everyone how easy it is.

Agree to the terms the sellers set before you order.  Stop burning them all and pissing them off until they really decide to fuck everyone and quit the game.  It sucks if you lose money, but don't forget it equally sucks for the seller.  They lose money as well as more time and wasted risk / effort.

Agreed. The sooner people realise they're ordering illegal drugs and getting them shipped across borders, the better. This place ain't Amazon, there's no guaranteed delivery date. It's a massive risk on both sides and in between there's a bunch of really qualified, smart and skilled people who's sole job is to fuck us over.
