Title: Customers make their own custom listing?
Post by: Pfandleiher on May 13, 2012, 11:11 am
My idea would be, that any customer can send any vendor, who has activated this feature, an offer.

For example. somebody sees that i have 1,5,10,25,100 listings, he needs 33G

so he sends me this request,
33G MDMA XXXBTC ? Deal or no deal?
the BTC go into escrow right away, but he can cancel any time. (until i accepted of course)
And maybe those requests should be limited to a few weekly or whatever.

well and thats about it, it would make lot of things much easier and customers can negotiate easily.

The only issue I can see is if the funds remain in escrow and then it takes the vendor like 4 days just to decline the offer.

This is a great idea but I think it would be better if the funds only came out of the account when the vendor accepted the offer. That way the buyer can make multiple offers to multiple vendors and the first one to accept gets the funds etc and the other offers are cancelled.

yeah this could work, would give more information in case of issues that need to be resolved, most custom listings dont have enough information on them.

I dont want ppl to just throw out 1000 requests a day, thats why i wanted the BTC to be taken out instantly.
i alredy see 1000 requests on my list haha :D
they should really think about their offer and dont offer something like 1btc just for fun.

Perhaps this would only be available for buyers with 5+ transactions/or equivalent $300 spent, to avoid time wasters and douche bags.

Product requests on the main site...that'd be cool
