Title: Buying bitcoins
Post by: drintiz on May 22, 2012, 06:20 am
Hey sr im very new and i was wondering how you go about buying bitcoins etc step by step without having to go through a vendor when there is always a chance they can scam you and charge pretty rediculous rates. Any help would be appreciated.

if youre in US, then use cash deposits with bitinstant.com to fund mtgox.com then transfer to instawallet.org as a middle man to make the path more convoluted and onward to the Road

DO NOT access mt gox using TOR because they will lock you out for identity verification.

smart not using the exchangers on the road cause youre gonna lose money, through the scams and fees

Yea but any public company is subject to having to let uncle sam go through their customer list and some of these vendors are honest. It just takes a little time to find a good one with a good rep. It's worth it to stay anonymous

What's with using bitinstant from Europe? No good idea? Or do they only accept cash deposits from the US?
