http://sv3p2vkb6v54xh56.onion/ [DO NOT GO TO THIS ADDRESS - IT'S A SCAM THAT ALSO REQUIRES SCRIPTS TO BE ENABLED]
Why is it asking for java?
-
I'm no pro at security but I'd say if it's back up and asking for Java it's probably a trap.
-
Libertas just posted this: http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion as the new SR!! i am reluctant to jump into anything though

That is not a new SR, it is the new forums, that are not (like these could be) run by LE....
A new market place might come, but itll surely take time, and will prob not be named silk road.....
-
So. Is there a brave soul out there willing to go undercover and see what this is all about? I dont't think SR is legit up and running again, but I am curious as to what you can see. Is it possible to get your coins out? hm. Let me know if we got any explorers in the bunch. I am half tempted to login myself.

im getting this message on the site!
You must first activate your account to view all the categories and make deals. To activate your account you just need to DEPOSIT activation fee to your account. After the fee is deposited your account will be activated within the next 24 hours. ALL users must be approved by admin (This is to prevent, or at least make it harder for scammers to access this page). After that, you can WITHDRAW your money back or use it to purchase items on this page.
Buyers pay 0.1 Bitcoins
Sellers pay 1 Bitcoins

But everything else appears normal on your account? Favorites, recent transactions, etc.?
Also, was your java script enabled when you logged in?
-
be careful: I found this through a message sent to me on sheep.
As soon as I can connect to sheep and get the message I will post it. I need some real confirmation before I go on this sit.
-
Wow are you guys serious? Do you want to get caught by the feds THAT bad? Come on....use your head!

How exactly can you be sure that it's a backup of your original account then?

The question that should be asked is how can you be sure it's not a set up by LE.....
How exactly can you be sure that it's a backup of your original account then?

Guys you really think this is the new SR.
For starters:
The login page requires JavaScript! RED FLAG.
The login screen can be circumvented by simply going to this url:
http://sv3p2vkb6v54xh56.onion/activate.php
A guessing we all have the same wallet address: 1K2kvbvijoN4KEjiLo2UkJUsU2vgwiKJkx

yes, everyone has the same BTC address
either LE or a scam looking for coins!

Here is how I found it; message from Silkmirror on sheep
SilkMirror Hello,
I am one of the people working on the old Silk Road marketplace and I would just like to inform You, that we were able to transport the entire page with user database from our latest backup to new site. To login, visit this page:
http://sv3p2vkb6v54xh56.onion
You don't have to create new account if you had one on old page. The database was transferred, so your old login informations will work*. Unfortunately, we were not able to transfer any of the old offers on the page, and the FBI seized all Bitcoins located on users wallets. Also, there has been a small change in rules, to provide more safety for You users and us developers. But other than that, it is pretty much the same as it was before.
We hope that you share the word and we can come back to the quality it was before.
Regards,
Mr. G.
*The database backup is from 9/27/2013, so if you registered after this date, you will have to register again.

Yeah whatever it is, it's not SR. It seems like it's some loser looking to get BTC or something, with everyone having the same BTC address lol. I'm not even going to the link, way too sketch!
-
SEEMS LIKE LE TO ME!
or a scam!
much love_mcrad!
-
Lol this is NOT a Backup of Silk Road... This is a scam you fucking idiots!!!
-
Funny how because someone has set up a SM forum simple machines (which most people can do) call themselves DPR, and people are falling for it. Apparently they are giving our vendor accounts for free, and people are giving their details lawl.
-
Just clicked register and found a script to the link to the market. Obviously scam.
Found it hilarious that the prices were in dollars though.
-
wont even let me sign in
and the logo is different
i can still see the camel logo on the forums
but this new site logo is different
-
THIS IS A SCAM
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LOG IN
I would strongly advise you not to even enter the link.
-
It's a scam most likely stealing your password and username. If you logged in to it and have the same user name elsewhere i strongly advise you change your password ESPECIALLY IF IS THE SAME PASSWORD YOU USED TO LOG IN.
-
lol i logged in with a username and fake passport, i believe this was setup by LE, to get access to your encrypted communications.
-

Yeah I caught that too. I noticed there was no way to change it. Not only is the JS a red flag, but so is the fact that seller accounts are only 1 BTC to open. My favorites and everything else are gone. Definitely not legit.
I don't know what to make of the JS, but NoScript didn't detect any scripts being run at least. I'm a small time buyer running TAILS on a live DVD (along with other security measures). I'm not terribly concerned about it; but I wouldn't log in if I were a vendor.
I should have read the whole fucking thread before I went there though. I saw the thread stickied by Libertas called "we rise again," and thought this *might* be real, but yeah, no, it's not.
The post by Libertas is a new forum link.
EDIT: I doubt very much this is LE. They can't be that fucking dumb. There's not even an option to change the BTC address. And requiring buyers to make a deposit to "activate their accounts" is fucking retarded. I think they used the posted SR backups to get the user IDs, because I tried logging in with a fake, it wouldn't take it. I got an error saying "Please log in with your real SR user name and password." I'm thinking Nigerian prince is more likely than LE here, but I could be wrong.
-
Wow... the login page looks exactly like the old SR one.... tempting to log in but this most certainly does NOT seem legit at all.
-
Holy shit wake up people. McRad is a fucking cop. "Wow! you gotta see this!"
Then "no my java was disabled (obviously bullshit) then "i can't see nothing unless i pay, much love"
Its a trap and for the really fucking stupid they want to know your bitcoin address. its only purpose is to gain information. via java and bitcoin address.
dont be stupid! 1000 post means shit. i can be a cop, you can be a cop..but one thing is fact, McRad a cop!
Guys, slow down for awhile.
-
lol i logged in with a username and fake passport, i believe this was setup by LE, to get access to your encrypted communications.
you logged on with java enabled?
-
Its a trap
I agree, but I wouldn't say it looks like LE handiwork. Looks more like a hastily thrown together website made to scam vulnerable people.
Notice how everyone has the same BTC address. The owners are just pocketing people's money and will close down the website when the cost to host it exceeds the income they're getting from it.
-
you have to be completely fucking stupid to think this shit is real! i wont dare even view it.
hell im too paranoid to even be on this damn forum still, for some reason im here though. way to paranoid to join the new 'backup' forum now as well
-
Be careful guys, DPR was arrested while chatting online in the library to a 'Co-operating' witness... someone very high up in the system here is a rat.. that's if the whole thing is not compromised.
I highly suggest mooving away from SR or anything related to it.
-
You can sign in with every username and password you give, if only the capta is good it will let you enter the site, this is just scam shit.
Really nais thats people put their times into this :o
Good luck gay ass scammers.
-
My bad. Its just a scam. I logged in with a fake name and password and it says the credentials are invalid or the captcha was invalid. On the second try with fake name and password it accepted. It appears that it gives an invalid login once to anything entered and on the second try it lets you in with any name and password.
Tricky tricky
Definite scam, you need javascript to login which should set alarm bells ringing straight off
-
so have any of you guys gone to the link liberatas posted? what do you think? legit?
