Title: Need a few answers.. Any help appreciated..
Post by: fukkigottado on April 29, 2012, 11:45 pm
Hello,

I'm new to the site and have some questions that seem very important to me.

How do we guarantee anonymity during buying and cashing bitcoin??
I'm wondering how to buy bitcoin without having my name attached to the bitcoin.  Can this be done with money-order or how would some experienced users go about doing this?
Also, if I were a supplier, and sold things on SR, how would I turn my bitcoin back into cash without having my name all over bitcoin transactions??

Any info would be greatly appreciated as I can't seem to find much info about these specific topics.

   Thanks

Easiest method for me is to go to bitinstant.com and type in however much money you are going to spend, and then go to the bank and deposit the money into the account number they give you. Bitinstant works really fast so by the time you get home the money should already be in your Mt.Gox account. From there its a simple click to turn the money into bitcoin, then send it to another wallet, and from that wallet to silkroad. Whole process usually takes about 15 minutes- 2 hours plus however long it takes you to get to the nearest bank.

(You do not have to give your name when you make a bank deposit)

Well you can sell bitcoins on Mt.Gox the same way, how you would go about turning that into actual paper money I'm not exactly sure. If I were you I'd PM one of the established vendors about it, I'm sure they'd be willing to help you. I don't want to give you bad information that leads to your security being compromised
