Title: Is it a dick move to ask for a full refund?
Post by: ripechlk on April 12, 2012, 03:07 am
I recently ordered product that never came. The vendor was very nice in communication, and offered a 60% refund. not bad, but after looking through his feedback, he has a lot of feedback stating no-shows. For me, anything but a 100% refund would make this a negative interaction.. for a couple of reasons.

1. Clearly this vendor has packaging issues. Either that or he just didn't send the product. Because of this, he could of possibly jeopardized my address.

2. Some customers got 50% refunds, some got full. This kind of inconsistency seems suspect to me.

What do you think SR?

Also..

3. I hate hate hate the fact that I have to have a refund in my buying history, especially while I'm trying to build my rep up. I've only been here for a couple months, but I'm almost at 10 transactions. I'd like to be able to utilize escrow and protect myself, and not have sellers question my reputation.

If that's his final offer with the refund than i say go with it. 60% is better than nothing. I advise you ask him about his "suspect" refund rate policy. Maybe hes basing it off the quantity of the product you purchased. If I bought a gram of weed that never came and the guy is like, yeah im sorry 60% is the best i can do. I would totally go for it. If i bought an oz, i would be upset.
