Instead of spam how about we post on the stuff we are reading that we don't understand.
The security forum here is unclear, perhaps somewhat deliberately since not everyone here at SR in who they seem to be, lurking LE?
I've read many of the tutorials and tips here on SR, Authentic and helpful, but they are flying over my head.
Some of us newbies are more savvy and can share and maybe a kindly long time member will take pity and answer some simple questions or make comment.
I've been reading a lot here, but I have so many stupid questions.
My contribution of "wisdom"
Search with Duck, Duck go or Start page for everything to disrupt the dossier google and rest already have on us.
All those recipe, book, gift, information searches and purchases. The marketing companies may know more about us than the NSA.

Great idea. I hope someone knowledgeable can answer me these questions or point me to a thread that is being discussed (I tried searching, but I couldn't find an answer to this)
So, how safe is browsing with Tor when I have my smartphone connected to my LAN (as well as when guests come by, or other PCs in my place)? Is it that big of a deal that I access SR and the forums from my home ISP?
Thanks.

The beauty of TOR is that it routs your IP through a series of networks and hides it behind layers of IPs, hence the ONION. So you should be all good as far as those concerns.

Thank you Turkey for Breakfeast for answering.
I feel better now for the way I'm using Tor :)
