Can someone remind me how to do a safe search on tor? I remember seeing that the easy to find one ( can't remember what it was now ) wasn't safe. Thanks in advance. Basically I want a google for tor websites without using google that is safe.
I will delete this post after. I don't want to clutter up things. I been away far to long!!!

From one of my tutorials:
Enter https://startpage.com (or https://ixquick.com/ if you don't even want to use Google through the Startpage proxy) in the URL bar of Firefox and click "Add to Firefox" on the webpage.
On the next page click the "Install" button (HTTPS), check "Start using it right away" and click "Add"
Startpage and Ixquick are hosted in the Netherlands. Those websites will only search the clearnet, I guess that is what you want?
Ixquick was awarded the first European Privacy Seal (EuroPriSe) for its privacy practices on July 14, 2008.[12] This European Union-sponsored initiative guarantees compliance with EU laws and regulations on data security and privacy, through a series of design and technical audits.[13] It was re-certified together with Startpage in 2009, 2011 and 2013.[14]

I think you want:
Duck Duck Go, 3g2upl4pq6kufc4m.onion
Startpage is the standard search engine in the Tor Browser Bundle and works well. You might also want to check out the tor directory TorDir dppmfxaacucguzpc.onion
