so im puting TAILS on a usb, does it matter what platform the stick takes. if it linux for storage only is that bad? i assume i want one that is compatible with linux.

As long as it works with your computer's hardware it should be fine.
-
Heh, I was wondering the same thing today
-
What do you mean by platform?
Essential Tails is a Linux Operating System, so it should work on any Computer. Only exception may be a Macintosh because they have a modified BIOS which is different from a normal PC.
-
you want to format it fat32 if thats what your asking?
-
meaning its linux? so i cant have a stick that only uses windows because TAILS is linux based, id want a stick that is unix, window etc right?
-
A USB stick is a USB stick for the most part. They work on all computers.
