Title: PCP
Post by: dotNorma on January 26, 2012, 12:33 pm
In any form from liquid, to powder, to dipped cigarettes or plant matter. I think dipped cigarettes would be the bomb as that's how I have always had it.

I would absolutely LOVE some PCP to go up, and I can not be the only one. How is it that this substance can never be found on SR? Ketamine and MXE pale in comparison to good old sherm.

And no, the recent MeO analogues will not do.

agreed that we need some dust.

I've never been in the right situation to try it, but have always wanted to give it a shot.  i really can't believe that no vendors on SR have access to PCP

I think the reason it isn't shipped is because it's so incredibly smelly. PCP in the dippable form is a liquid solvent, and quite possibly the smelliest thing in existence. If anybody sold it on SR, I would expect to see it in powder form or pill form, just because it won't be in the freebase smelly form that way.

Yeah, that was my theory actually, that people don't ship it because of its incredibly distinct odor. But surely when they turn it into powder form it doesn't smell the same way? Though I have never actually seen powdered PCP, only ever the liquid.

Damn, I would kill if somebody could figure out how to get some sherm to me.

yeeeppp, i too would be all over a chance to get some
i can't guarantee that i'd be a repeat big buyer since i've never tried it, but there's a pretty damn good chance that i might be. i adore dissociatives and really want to mix it up from all the mxe i've been doing over the past year

Another interested customer here :) I had just logged back into SR after a few months off and was stoked to see a PCP category in dissociatives and then had the letdown of seeing just analogues. Would be my first time with it, so I also would be looking for a small purchase to start with, but when I find something I like and know that it stores well, I like to stock up when it's available. It would be awesome to see a reputable seller step up to the plate here.

It shouldn't be nearly as smelly in powder form, because that should be the salt version (and therefore not a solvent). But my chemistry could be wrong, that's just as I understood it.

The thing why liquid PCP is probably so smelly is because they actually use formaldehyde (emblamig fluid) to dissolve it. It's just one of those redneck/nigga myths that sprung up and are kept to this very day.
In general the synthesis is quite a nobrainer although I can see where people manage to fuck it up. PCP has become somewhat of an urban legend nowaday be it because of the crackdown of easy precursor or that there's just not a market for it anymore.
I'd be highly suspicious of anyone claiming to sell PCP especially if you're not familiar with ketamine or MXE.

Yikes!

So, I'm not an expert on PCP by any stretch of imagination.  I've never made it and have yet to see it in person.  But everything I've read states that the only reason that formaldehyde is even associated with it is that a slang term for PCP back in the day was embalming fluid for when other things were dunked in it.

From erowid:

Quote
Embalming fluid (as used by a mortician) is generally dilute (watered down) formaldehyde. PCP is not embalming fluid. There is no PCP in embalming fluid. PCP cannot be derived from embalming fluid. Formaldehyde and PCP are not chemically related. There is little reason to believe that formaldehyde would produce any pleasant or desireable effects when smoked.

Formaldehyde is a suspected carcinogen linked to nasal and lung cancer, and with possible links to brain cancer and leukemia and should not be smoked.

The confusion comes simply because somewhere along the line PCP picked up the slang name "embalming fluid". Since the confusion began, it is entirely possible, even likely, that some people have smoked formaldehyde soaked cannabis or tobacco, thinking they were getting the same "Embalming Fluid" (PCP) that they had smoked before.

Time to find a new dealer if you've had somebody trying to get you to smoke formaldehyde, Megatherium  ;)

Yea, I was going to post this, myself. Embalming fluid causes serious permanent brain damage, if I understand correctly.

I mean I'd personally prefer something a little more... pure, so to speak, but I suppose if I had to I'd settle for ghetto wets. But I still think they would be too difficult to ship; I'd think that somebody would have the capability to synthesize some PCP HCl (or whatever equivalent salt they chose) on here.
