Worked fine for me Fri. You can check out my recent posts if you want some details, but I didn't have any trouble getting btc to SR this way.

Yay! All up and running! Now you can buy some of Beans's Partyflocks!

Bitinstant->Mt.Gox is still giving me the same error as it has all weekend.

What error are you getting? Maybe we can help you out. I always used cash > btc to email, but they took it down and I had no problem with the Mt. Gox option. Just as easy, total fee for the whole transaction through is around the same amount.

I did cash>btc-e 4 hours ago and still haven't received my coins. Anyone else having delays?

i put in my mt.gox account, amount of money, and email, hit send funds, and get 500 INTERNAL ERROR.
Happens every time.

Ah, I see now. I just tested it myself and got the same error, but only because I selected the "Cash Deposit" category and not a specific location. Picking CVS works fine for me, not sure about the others. Try it.

Great, many thanks nuyt. Wasn't sure if money would be sitting in limbo on the net somewhere. Thanks again.

Per email from bitinstant:
The Bitcoin address and email to bitcoin destination options are temporarily off
our site for API updates. These options should be available again on Thursday,
November 1. We are unable to process any new orders to btc wallet addresses or
email manually or over the phone. We apologize for the inconvenience and
appreciate your patience.

If we deposit to mt.gox then do be sure not to access our mt fox account using tor? If we use fake info with mt gox and access it over tor then we get locked out of our account or something?
When bitinstant sends bitcoin to mt gox does it do something that is different from sending it to any other bitcoin wallet?

It deposits USD to your mtgox account, and you use that to purchase btcs from the mtgox market. It's a very simple process, and you can choose from the lowest available offer, or submit a price you'd like to pay and wait for somebody to sell you their coins for that price. When you complete a USD>btc purchase the btcs show up in your account immediately, and you can then immediately send those coins to a temp wallet or onto sr.
But ya, they have that message on their homepage to not use tor, so I didn't for mtgox but did for the instawallets. Easy process, but I'll be waiting for the bitinstant>btc address option to show back up...just prefer that method

If you're having issues email Charle@Bitinstant.com or the support email. Apparently the billing email doesn't work. Or you can do what I do and post a complaint on the btc talk forum. Those seem to get resolved the fastest. Mine was fixed within 10 minutes of posting on there.
