Title: How long does a WU refund take?
Post by: zxydwx3 on July 03, 2013, 11:29 pm
I was trying to buy some BTC when the seller flaked out. Thankfully, I was able to contact Western Union in time, and the transfer is "on hold" and the receiver will not be able to collect the funds. I realize i am very lucky, no need to point that out.

Just wondering if any here has any experience with how the refund process works? I'm in Canada, and I did a "Money in Minutes" type of transfer, if that makes a difference.

Comments and experiences are most welcome. Thanks in advance.

It usually takes 2 weeks to a month for it to come through if you paid via credit card.

Had a similiar issue and it took me a billing cycle (a month) to get the funds back
