I'm thinking of becoming a seller. I have access to buprenorphine (subutex) tabs in blister packs. I have received tablets from overseas in the past; I ordered Xanax succesfully online. It was sent in a regular envelope so it looked like a letter. The tablets were taken out of the box, and the carton (included to show that they were the real deal) folded flat. The tablets were in blister strips, 6 strips in total, and sellotaped securely between two pieces of card, so if the outside of the envelope got ripped they wouldn't be in any danger of falling out. It was really secure, and it still fitted inside a regular envelope. It looked like a letter; the address was hand written with a fake residential address on the back. It could have been a long letter from a distant relative in Argentina!
Does anyone here have experience mailing stuff like this to the US? I have sent packages to the US before, and they always require a return address (though that can be anything), and you have to tick a box saying it's just photos or a letter, in which case it can be quite cheap, but if you tick a box saying it's any kind of item of value, whether a gift or a sale item, it costs more. In this case I imagine it is more likely to be opened, cos then an import tax can be levied on the receiver.
I recall there used to be such a thing as an airmail letter, a blue thing which could be sent for a set fee to the US. I wonder if this still exists and if blister strips could be secured inside one of those. Any help would be appreciated. I'm aware that bupe is quite in demand in the US.
