I had arranged to make a purchase from a vendor today. The vendor was short 1 unit of what I was requesting so he set me up an order for what he had.
Here the transaction going through. You can see I had 16.76 Bitcoins remaining in my account afterwards

About 3 hours later the Vendor cancels the order telling me he found an extra unit lying around and that he will relist the order at the right price(which he hasn't up to this point), and I see i got refunded, but my money is way short. I look at my transaction history and see.

What the fuck? 15 bitcoins are gone. At the rate I bought them for that's $135. What on earth is going on here. The order was never even marked in transit, it was canceled by the vendor while still in processeing. He then sets me up another order, for a higher, fuller price, for the full order, and now I do not even have enough money to do the order.
What the hell is going on here. Grrrrrr. Where are my 15 bitcoins. Is this the vendors fault? Is he the one who controls how much is refunded? Have I been scammed by this vendor?

Considering the USD conversions.
After the order was placed for $3139, I had $140 worth of bitcoins.
Even if the order was hedged(not sure if this applies even in this scenario), I should have $3279 worth in my account right now. Yet I only have $3171. There's $100 some dollars missing there!!

You lost 4% to hedging. Alway check with vendors before making a LARGE order.
Sucks, but you won't do that again now will you?
