Title: Are UK customs that good
Post by: Lammy101 on October 05, 2012, 07:01 pm
I'm fairly new to SR and have sampled a few vendors Cocaine products, I have stayed within the UK mostly for convenience and time to delivery.

The teams selling the high quality product normally deliver an excellent product in a good time frame, however I find the price is pretty expensive (approx 15 btc)

I've not tried any of the Euro vendors yet but have heard good things in terms of quality and more to the point price, although you will wait for it.

So the question I have is why do we in the UK pay extra for a quality product, is this due to customs, actual wholesale price of the product or are we just paying it because that is what we do.

Would be interesting to hear from some UK sellers.

Also reckon there is a place in the UK market for a seller punting a good product at a reasonable price, probably clean up.

I have no issues with any of the vendors, just curious at the price difference.

I'm not a UK seller, but still hope this helps you. Prices are higher in the UK for many reasons, the price per a quality key is a lot more expensive then other countries, there have also been many large scale seizures this year, for example (clearwebalert) 'Cocaine plot mastermind, 61, jailed for 28 years' http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article4554663.ece (clearwebalert)  'Op Sees £300 Million Cocaine Gang Jailed' http://www.policeoracle.com/news/Crime/2012/Jun/25/Op-Sees-300-Million-Cocaine-Gang-Jailed_50336.html this is also going to push up prices as there is less coke on the market, and the demand is stronger then the coke available, this will push the prices up, and it is much tougher to pass a large quantity of cocaine through UK customs then it was before, the logistics are becoming much more difficult too. For all these reasons, this is why the price of coke is higher then in other European countries.

I read a very interesting report recently on the House of Commons website called 'The Cocaine Trade' (clearwebalert) http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm200910/cmselect/cmhaff/74/7408.htm, to quote:

74. However, despite a downward trajectory in street price over the past ten years, SOCA data show that the wholesale price has been rising steadily over the last decade. In 1999 it was £22,000-25,000 per kilo, whereas by December 2008, a kilo had risen to between £36,000 and 40,000. In March 2009 it reached £45,000. [102]

If in March 2009 a price of a key was £36,000-£45,000 I imagine now it's £55,000+

High quality coke in the UK does come at a premium as 90% of the coke on the streets is cut to total shit, like all good things in life you want it you got to pay for it, quality never comes cheap, but personally for me it's well worth it, as I would rather pay 15BTC and have a great time with a quality product, then to pay £40-£50 for a gram of gear that doesn't even have 10% coke in it. You can either carry on paying the premium, or you can order from a reputable vendor in Europe or wherever, it's up to you. At this moment the UK coke market isn't going to change, it is what it is. Coke has never been a cheap drug, and never will be, but the situation in the UK is getting tougher and tougher, and as a result there is only one way the market can go and that's up to compensate for the high risks involved.

The price of all drugs in the UK went up largely in the period when the euro became so much stronger against the pound. If a UK dealer goes to Amsterdam to buy a kilo of something and his pounds are worth 25% less they have to charge that back to make their money. That's a factor and also that there is a layered market for cocaine, you have the terrible benzocaine ridden shite people buy full of paracetamol and with maybe 5-8% cocaine content that costs £40 on the street. Or you have the 70-80 range when it actually tastes and smells of coke but still is cut with something that may leave you feeling edgy. Then you have the 100+ flake.

Plenty of people haven't got a clue and just want to sniff some powder that'll keep them awake so there is no incentive for dealers to make their product any better whilst there is a customer base for their low grade cheap crap. Those big headlining grabbing seizures about the wealthy criminals are just a jot in the ocean, one pawn in a huge game. The guy that got caught on his yacht got sloppy, most of the main players are so far removed from the actual process they're almost untouchable and there'll be plenty of people to take their place. People are saying the mexican gangs are now targeting the European market and that may mean a big drop in price if the market is flooded with high quality produce!

 I know what I buy anyway ;)
