Title: Is it possible to send PGP encrypted messages through the SR messaging system?
Post by: unconluv on August 17, 2012, 04:53 pm
Like, is it possible to sign and encrypt a file and then send the garbled text from the .txt.gpg file through the SR messaging system? Or do you need to use Tormail to send the encrypted files?

Thanks :)

you should always use pgp, use the --armor option to make encrypted plaintext files (.txt.asc instead of .txt.gpg)

Thank you so much!!!!!! I've been trying to figure out how to do this all day!! :)

For what do you want to send encrypted files? You can simply copypaste the encrypted text to the text entry field.
