Title: NEW GTA INFO
Post by: StonedAge on July 03, 2013, 08:37 am
Will be on two discs, requires install. Who else hates this feature? Rockstar did the same thing with Max Payne 3 and i just feel its a hassle. Hopefully they dont make a habit of it and make every game here on out on two discs!

It's because the HD DVD discs the 360 uses can only hold a certain amount of data, that's why the PS3 is superior because they opted for blu-ray discs. And the porno industry went for blu-ray aswell.

On the brightside one disc on the 360 is purely for installation then it isn't required anymore. So you don't have to keep swapping discs.

Sony held the Blu-Ray sole copyright at the time, and even if MS wanted Blu-Ray they couldn't have had it.

They could have but licensing costs were probably too damn high back in 2006.
