Title: Vendor BTC Boss
Post by: atheon on July 29, 2013, 03:24 pm
last time i tried to trade a moneypak for BTC i was out 500$  very quickly. Can anyone vouch for the legitimacy of vendor BTC Boss? He has a lot of feedback but i know its easily faked. The no fees sound too good to be true and you know what that means. Any input is appreciated; thanks.

I've used him twice with no problems.  He was extremely fast both times.

Used him twice with RELOADIT. 5 minutes and 20 minutes. I messaged him first. Never burned in two years until last week, so I know the feeling, and BTCBoss was my last shot. He did have "no fee" with RELOADIT, but now is charging a $10.00 premium over current price($116.00 has of now).

But then again, MRBuddha and Vice City Bank had good stats.  I would, however, use him again.

After working with BTCboss for about a month I've come to the conclusion that he is a selective scammer. I gave him about 3-5 cards a day to cash in. Occasionally he would get back and say that a card was invalid or had already been cashed. I expect a small amount of this stuff in this biz, but nowhere near the percentage levels that he was claiming. In once case it was a $400 card that he said was invalid. It happened to be a card a friend of mine had bought and I knew for certain he had cashed it. I called him on it and he said he had made a mistake and gave me the money. Several other times I was shorted and had to ask for the whole amount. Now, in just the last couple of days he said that four out of six cards I gave him were bad. Now three of these cards come from long time customers of mine who I have a good relationship with and I seriously doubt would try to scam me. And he's saying three of them did at the same time? I doubt that.

I highly suggest using caution with btcboss. Trading card numbers like that is always risky, but you can minimize the risk by dealing with trusted vendors. I am convinced btcboss  is selective scamming.  >:(

Also so you know it is not zero percent as the title implies. He was charging me 7%.
