Title: Question about Dolfan2500
Post by: rjw252 on March 29, 2012, 12:12 am
How soon does he return messages or approves orders?  I ordered this morning and still have not heard from him, was hoping that the order would go out today, now thinking about canceling it.  Who doesn't like fast shipping.

you wont have a chance to cancel until the package stays longer than 96 hours in processing, and you shouldn't dude is quick and they will go out tommorow if not, anything you would order anyway would go out on monday.

I have ordered enough from him to promise you that you're in great hands.  When he does reply it will be to tell you he shipped and then he'll provide a DCN.  Don't worry he is legit.

I was also wondering if anyone else is having difficulty with Dolfan's new public key?

I tried importing it to my GPG4WIN client and I get an error message about "No Keys Found".

I also tried deleting out what seems to be extra line breaks, but I still can't import the key.

I might be doing something wrong, but I've imported a bunch of other keys just fine, including Dolfan's old key.

It seems that there might be something wrong with his new key?

If anyone can confirm, and/or offer some assistance, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Bullfrog6288

you need to make sure the spacing is identical to other pgp keys, i think the clipboard on some OS can add spacing when copying that is uncessary

I appreciate your suggestion . . . Have you had any success in importing his new key?

Take a look at it on his vendor page and you will see that it is double-spaced and fully-justified.

I did take out all the extra lines, but it still doesn't work?!?

Maybe I'm just being a dope and doing something wrong, but I think it's more likely that there's something wrong with the new key?

I was able to remove the spaces and successfully import the key using GPA/Linux, but have no idea if the key is functioning properly otherwise.

And, I've always had top-shelf service from Dolfan, but lately he's been MIA, and not responsive.  Dunno if he's having computer problems or problems IRL or what...

GOT IT !!!

Thanks people!

I just had to be sure to delete out ALL extra lines and make sure it was formatted exactly as the other keys that work.

Done!   :D

MIA? Well... soon as I can cancel I will probably do so.  More vendors carrying the same thing around same price, and should atleast reply withing 2 days of leaving message, or process order.  I dealt with the thecloser29 last week and he was fast. Ordered Friday afternoon, received Monday.

I've ordered from dolfan a few times, and he's always been on top of things.  The longest I think I ever waited for an item to get shipped was 3 days, and then it was in my box two days later.  Don't stress, 40 hours is not a big deal.

Thanks for the reassurance.  I have ordered from 4 other people on here, and received excellent communication and quick order processing.  Maybe just got lucky then.  That is the only reason I was questioning this order, and arrival time.   When your spending $150 or more, it's easy to get worried.

I placed an order last week that took him 2 days to confirm.  I placed on Tuesday, so I am going in 2 days and its still in processing.  So you are not the only one.

Just an update, mine was marked as shipped early this afternoon, so I am sure he is just behind.

Mine is processing. There goes the hope of it shipping out another day, being that it is 6:30pm here.

Dolfan is a solid SR member, he will take care of us ASAP.  Good things come to those who wait

Any word from Dolfan2500?  I haven't heard from him in a few days.    I ordered Tuesday, and it is now Saturday with it still processing.  Think I might be canceling and placing this order with someone else.

A message from him 1 day ago:

"some fucker on here got some of my info and is trying to blackmail me if i dont send him some money and he hacked my account on mt gox and shit."

I don't know what this means, but he's obviously having some issues at the moment.

He is a solid vendor, though, great customer service and lightning-quick shipper.  Give him some time to sort through his problem, and I'm sure he'll be back.

Patience is not one of my strong qualities.  Hard to wait sometimes when I know I can go to another trusted vendor.  Probably give him till this evening to message me or ship out.  5 days is a long time to wait for a shipment to be sent out in my opinion.

I meant wait before ordering from him.  Cancel your order and get yer coin back... No harm done.  I had to cancel one last week.

yeah no luck on my end. hopefully everything is alright, waiting sucks, but DOLFAN's well being is what is going to help this community stay what is it.  I must admit being nervous about my BTCs, but I have every belief that he will get it done.  keep you all posted
