Im not sure if this is some tax or if I get charged everytime I visit SR with money in my account. I seem to be losing 10cents every hour. Its frustrating because I wasnt thinking of buying anything till the end of the week and Ive already paid a shitload of fees in getting the bitcoins.
I guess I learnt my lesson - dont deposit until the last minute still pretty annoying though.

losing $ value, or losing actual BTC? bitcoin is a volatile market, so yes, buy your coins only when ready to purchase, and always grab a couple extra coins in case the price drops a few points.

That's never happened to me.....you do know that you can see your transaction history on your Account page? That should tell you where your coins are going. also, if you are viewing your prices in USD, then it might be fluctuations that you're seeing, and the actual amount of BTC might be remaining the same.
Anyway, I'm hoping it's a non-issue. I sure am glad I never had any of the "missing money" issues that people claim has happened to them...

You guys are both probably right, just a market change. I've lost $4 since I checked last night, hopefully it recovers till I spend it.

I don't remember what value SR uses for coins 24 hour average I think, possibly updated hourly, but I haven't read the thread that described it in a long time. I thought you were losing actual BTC, which is a problem for tech support.

One of the many joys of having your page display amounts in dollars instead of bitcoins... it makes you feel like a Wall Street stockbroker.
