Is there any good programs like GPG4win for linux, or should I just run GPG4win via wine?
-
from what I remember that wont work, ubuntu has built in pgp just open ''passwords and keys''

I'm using Kgpg in Kubuntu and it is simple and functional. I recommend it, but it might not work on Ubuntu. You can find it in the software center(or whatsitcalled). If that does not work, there is great information on the ubuntu web page. Just google pgp ubuntu :D

Wadozo turned me onto gpg4usb the other day, and it can't be any simpler to use. I don't have the download link handy but it shouldn't be too hard to find, otherwise it's mentioned a few times in the biggener pgp club thread.

I just went with GPG4win/wine.. I already know how to use it, runs fine. Thanks for the replys, I will try some of the other stuff out if I have time.

This thread has given me a minor stroke. OP needs to find a way to use a native linux binary in linux, so naturally he uses a bastardized windows build of the linux binary in wine.. in linux
This is why people hate ubuntu users.

really you love me, you just dont know how to express it.

gpg4usb is very nice btw.

What people are you talking about? My experience is that most people hate windows, but they dislike mac users even more (unless they use it themselves). I hope more people will start using linux <3 It's like the buddhism of OS ;)
