Title: estern union transfers??
Post by: MrPaparuna on September 22, 2013, 01:45 pm
So
i am trying figure again ways to buy fast bitcoins
by western union is it fast enough? and safe?
i can guess with WU u always have to send to the guy 1st the money on the account he wants...
and then after he see it, he sends to
Or i can ask him go 1st...
So in both ways some1 is unsecure..
Or i am missing something? there is some safe way or some reputable midleman? person or site
And at the end how long it takes?
As soon as i give the order, does the other guy can see it and send asap the btcs?

Thanks

I'd try to avoid WU transfers

Have you checked out Localbitcoins?  Direct bank deposits work well, as do personal meets.

Hi I am new here and had a hard time figuring out how to purchase bitcoins in South America. Not having a US bank account etc.  First like Yoda (and there is another forum topic about this) NEVER send anyone money via WU.  If you do you might as well just light a fire and toss your cash in.

What I did (and it takes a little time to setup but it is awesome)  was set up my PayPal account in the US and then got a business debit card attached to it. I then went to https://www.btcquick.com/beta/  and signed up for an account.

It took the best part of the afternoon to get my account set up and verified, but once it was set up I got my bitcoins instantaneously. Very good service, very fast and reliable.  It was easy to

Great for newbies like myself who don't the patience.

All the best

So your account is linked to your real name?  If so, you probably want to run your coins through a mixer such as bitcoinfog just to be safe.

using localbitcoins it has an escrow system in place similar to SR so you wont get screwed for BTC and i usually get coins once i do my part in less than 2 minutes , and i wouldnt WU if not needed unless you have legit fake Ids, do the bank cash deposit , works way better, if you have any more questions or issues PM i will def. point you in the right directions
