The crushing, seedy loneliness; the dread certainty that, despite all the posturing and propaganda, you belong nowhere in a healthy society, a childless mistake of nature soon to be windswept into insignificance and out of all human memory.
-
Who is to say there is not a knowledge bank of all human existences waiting for us at the end? If you are knowledgeable in this subject (because I am not) may you answer this question: What is a soul?
-
Instead of constantly thinking about the end and knowing that nothing really matters, just enjoy the "now". We're all going to die eventually so enjoy every moment you have until that point. Go out and party or do whatever the fuck you like to do, just have fun.
If you sit around thinking how shitty life is and how it means nothing anyways, then you aren't using your time very productively and you're wasting the life you should be enjoying

Nicely put. I must say you deserve a plus one for such words of encouragement brother. Thank you and enjoy your day. The now is the only thing guaranteed.
Happy and safe tripping!

It's the inherent meaninglessness of existence that gives us freedom.
-
Existence is only meaningless to those who don't seek meaning. :)

I must respectfully disagree. I believe it is only when we stop "seeking meaning" that we can be truly happy and at peace with our own existence.

I saw the title of this thread, and I know this feeling all too well unfortunately. At the end of the day I didn't ask to be here, but I'm here amongst all the BS just like everyone else so I might as well try and get some cool shit done. On another tip, it's good to see some positive folks in here today.

Touche. I'm just extrapolating.

It was a serious question... i mean your name is Goblin. Does a goblin fall into the undead category or are they more of just a mysterious creature?

I like goblins more than orcs.

I think if you were fortunate enough to be born with choices in this world (small minority of homo sapiens), and have the luxury of time to even consider a concept like this, then the burden of proof is NOT on the OP.
I am inclined to agree with OP.
I argue myself out of this on a daily basis and thus am here typing. It is not a big important argument. Usually it is just arguing myself out of bed in the morning. A few times a year it is a bit more important. Some of you know how it goes.
Are you (anyone you, not individual you) radically pro-life? I am not referring to abortion here. Can you argue that every life is sacred or even meaningful or even worthy of not being terminated? If yes, why/how can you argue that? Think about it.
That said, I recently read someone say that suicide does not end pain, it only transfers pain to the surviving humans who knew the suicide. Think about that, too.
PS go read a good book!

Initial OP post makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside <3
