Title: alternative websites that sell bitcoins using cash deposit?
Post by: cigarsmoke on July 13, 2013, 02:10 am
other alternative websites instead of bitinstant that sell bitcoins using cash deposit method with moneygram? bitinstant requires you to sign up and identify yourself before buying any bitcoins. i understand that it is not illegal to obtain bitcoins but whats the point of using anonymous currency if you cant remain anonymous while purchasing bitcoins

I have not but know people who have... It's fairly reliable, I believe they have an escrow system for online trades but I'm unsure how it works, look for a vendor with good ratings and accepts the way you want to pay and you're golden.  Or just meet someone local and do it that way.  The fees are too high for me personally, but if you need bitcoins quick it's a good route.

Coin vendors on Localbitcoin choose how they will receive funds, and some accept cash deposit into a national bank, typically either Bank of America, Citibank, or Wells Fargo. Escrow protects you from the vendor running with your cash, but expect to pay as much as ten dollars per coin above the Mt. Gox average. It's safe, fast, convenient, just expensive. But bitcoin is on the rise right now, so if you bought some coins tomorrow and held them for a few days, you'd probably end up losing no money at all.

I did BofA direct online deposit. Got my BTC, was legit. Just type in united states and look for someone with a lot of good reviews, and preferably 100% rating and 100+ reviews from different people. Awesome website, definitely getting BTC from there from on. Also this was my first time buying BTC!
