So in my locality in the United States, very little drug information is released. If you send something in to be tested, they can only tell you what drugs it contains, not what amount of each type. IE they'll tell you your roll is meth and ket, but they won't tell you the dosage of either.
If anybody were to be able to do some analysis of samples, I think it would be greatly appreciated. I'm not versed in chemistry, but there's HPLC, NMR, GC/MS which could help people verify the quality of what they have. I'd like to do it with stuff that I've sourced locally, or to verify the quality of items from as-of-yet untrusted buyers.
The sellers themselves could also pay to have their items tested so that people can have more confidence in their product. There would be certain scamming issues that would have to be worked out in such a system, but I think throwing the idea out here is a pretty good start.
Thoughts? Offers? =D

When you have a lab analyses something for you ask them for the mass spectrogram or column elution profile. You can ascertain from the peaks at the very least the ratios of the chemicals in the sample, and if they give you a total mass (of active compounds, aka no filler/binder's) you can simply work out the exact mass ('dose') of each with the ratios and total mass.

I don't personally know the lab in any way. I'm a rather novice chemist, in that I've had no real formal training in the field, so I would have to learn a bit in order to understand those graphs. The lab I'm talking about, though, is the one run by DanceSafe.org and such. As I understand it, they aren't legally allowed to release anything other than what compounds were found in the sample sent in. It's unfortunate, but it's US law I believe.

Ah, I thought you were using an independent laboratory. I see from reading ecstasydata.org you're right, the DEA has created an UNPUBLISHED administrative rule that of the entities that possess a DEA License (which is required to monitor schedule I, including drug mass) drug detection labs aren't allowed the freedom of communication of drug masses as any other entity with a DEA License is. Way to show the public your sterling morals there DEA, claim a DEA License gives equal transparency and then just make some 'unpublished administrative rule' when you want.
Your options are limited I guess, but if you can find a lab that just quantifies and gives you the results without many questions (university campuses a good place to start ... i'd have taken a payment from you when I was in school to run a GC/MS and hell if the peaks were tight i'd buy some off you! lol). If you present it to the lab as a pill you are asking to have pondering minds analyze you're spectrum's. My best advice is to grind it up, and put it in something they call microcentrifuge tubes ('eppendorf tubes'), which are very easy to obtain and look like this: http://www.usascientific.com/seal-rite-1.5-ml-tube-sterile.aspx
They are everywhere and easy to find, walk through a college/uni lab and youll find them everywhere. I personally would find it odd to see a sample brought into my lab that was not in a microcentrifuge tube, quite odd actually. Label the top of it with some crazy letters n numbers like G-3a and to them it'll just be another random sample in the piles of samples they've yet to analyze.

I kinda get the feeling that would go over a lot better if I knew somebody in the lab itself. I'm not sure I could just get them to analyze a sample for me like that.

In the ATX?

We are trying to set up a test for weed and hash, only.
The first results are very good, now we focus on the price. In the moment we have costs 60-90US$, but we want to get the price down to 20-50$ till 2 QT 2012.

Hi onestopshop,
this is the project we are doing:
Topic: THC Test for weed and hash

The biggest problem is not the accuracy but the price, so we delayed it until we find a cheaper way to do this.

You get free lab testing all drugs, Holland (Amsterdam)
No police problem, police officer even tell where lab is...

Does the lab accept samples via mail, perchance? =D

Quantitative assay analysis (how much of what) as opposed to only a qualitative (what is there?) , yeah you'd need a groovy wee mass-spec for that. Have fun, sunny

Yeah exactly , its not the hardest thing to do,however maintaining your GC-MS and calibrating it might be another matter though!

No mail.

Fuck. Maybe with time I'll get lucky and run into somebody who can run anaylses for me...

Well you never know, it could be a service offered some day soon :P
