Title: Bitcoins
Post by: ASAPLion on August 27, 2013, 10:58 pm
I'm brand new to the whole idea of Silk Road and Bitcoins; however, I have done my research and found out the proper ways to go upon doing business on the site. The only problem I have now is transferring Bitcoins into my account or "EWallet". I would be greatly appreciative if someone could explain step by step the Bitcoin process to me or point me in the right direction of a thread or post that has that information.
Thank you.

So you have the BTC in a wallet outside SR if you are going to tumble them do so then go to account page on SR click the deposit link and a BTC addy will appear always starts with a 1 then copy the addy go to your other BTC wallet paste SR addy into send BTC to addy line fill in amount then click send it will take a few hours for BTC to clear into SR wallet can check transaction at                              blockchain.info/account/SRwalletaddyhere      itll tell you the amount of confermations etc

If you tumble them so they can not be traced to you then yes by all means use whatever funding you want

yes you can using google wallet. go to btcquick.com and become a member ($2 fee). You can buy bitcoins with google wallet via credit card and you get them within hours to your wallet. It's a bit more expensive than mt.gox tho, so when you're not in a hurry use mt.gox
