a recent Vendor going silent or going AWOL gave me this idea and i'm not sure how easy it would be for SR to implement, but the idea goes something like this:
all vendor hyperlinks and listings appear Green if the seller has been active and responding to buyers within the last 12 hours. the color of the hyperlink changes color from green to a Orange color if the Vendor has not been responding to emails or online in 24 hours. If the Vendor has not been active or responding to messages in 36 hours his Hyperlinks all become red as an indication for buyers to order with caution. i think if the Vendor is inactive after 48 hours his listings are automatically removed anyways, so we shouldn't need any more protection after this 48 hour absence of activity has been reached.

bit harsh mate, what if someones internet connection goes down? family issue?
vendors on here have lives too , as well as family, work, friends I think a 48-72 hour window would be more reasonable, having said that sounds like good concept in general...

12 hours window? Geez. We have a life too you know?
I do not find this necessary. If the order is not accepted within 4 days it gets refunded anyways.

A lot of the top seller's take a max of 3-4 days to send their order or reply to me. I'm fine with this. I understand how busy they are. They must process upwards of a few hundred to a thousand a day. I don't really think it is necessary to punish seller's. They may just take their business elsewhere.
