Title: Buying bitcoins in the UK
Post by: angel555 on July 06, 2013, 07:26 pm
Yes, I know this has been asked many times

but where are people getting them from nowadays? I've been using btc4cash up until they closed, and btcxuk a couple times but im not sure how quick they are nowadays..

it seems the rates on clearnet exchanges are a rip off... 8%-10% over mtgox average

Try a south african exchange, trading almost 30 dollars a BTC above Mt.Gox

The cheapest I have found is localbitcoins, there will always be a mark up though. It was cheaper than bitbargain for me yesterday and those are the only 2 places I have used. Apart from Blockchain but can't use that anymore.

Localbitcoins. The mark up is negligible with the right seller.
