Title: .onion sites wont load on VM *COINS FOR HELP*
Post by: bluemeth on April 04, 2013, 11:10 pm
im running ubuntu off an encrypted usb on a virtual machine. its always worked fine. i just tried the usb in a different computer and running a different version of Oracle
everything seems to work fine except that silkroad and other .onion sites wont load. the browser connects to the tor network and all other sites seem to work, including onion.to sites

any help would be greatly appreciated and il give 0.3btc to anyone who solves it

Well its not exactly what you are looking for, but every time I have had a problem loading something in tor, one of the following has fixed it:

Redownload tor

and/or

remove www. from before your site name

the later one I don't even understand, but has blocked me from SR a few times out of my own cluelessness.
