Post by: shutdem on May 05, 2012, 07:06 am
yes, i see there are a few links that says that you can tell them how much you want to fund you mt.gox account. is this true has anyone used them
first of all how does this work when mt,gox wants a id? arent they supposed to match bank account's in your name? or you have banks listed?
also if so if they are true. how much can they be trusted for? what is your personal highest funding?
third can you use the, with Intersango since they do not require id? please let me know, i have been reseaching for 1month and a half just on this subject. so i have put in the work. i appreciate anyone especially the vets, but will appreciate any opinions

Bitinstant rocks.

I got up this morning, took my slip of paper (deposit/invoice) down to my local branch of Bank of *******, walked in.. stared at the hot teller's tits while she processed the deposit and took my money.

Then I went and got a breve and a take and bake pizza. As I walked in the door to my crib my smartphone beeped and I had mail. My money had been sent on to Mt. Gox. I sat down, ran it through a tumbler, then to S.R. I put my pizza in the oven, finished my breve over a nice spliff and my BTC were sitting in my S.R. account.

Business done.. all before noon.

No ID required at any step of the way by anyone. Though I really did want to give my phone number to the hot teller chick.

so what about mtgox? i thought you had to give them a id?
can you have the coins send to Intersango  or does bit instant only deal with mtgox? i just wondered since you show id for mtgox from what i heard you have to show id and register bank account on there? just what i have read but thats why i am here to get more details and i thank you
also how much would you trust them with in a transaction? i know there is times when i need alot and would rather stop at a few banks a couple days ahead of time to be sure i dont get burnt, let know philter or anyone else and thank you in advance!

Try get-bitcoin.com.  You deposit cash at your choice of two very large banks.  Then you email them a picture of the bank receipt.  They send bitcoins directly to any bitcoin wallet with no ID except the name and email that you give them.  Simple as that.

You can get BTC directly from Bitinstant with Coinapult. No need for Mtgox anymore.

Bitinstant is great. 3 transactions with them all went flawlessly, usually have the funds by the time I get home from the bank, no ID required. Not even a name.

Do not use Get-bitcoin, they seem to be selective scammers and even if you do get your coin it will usually take longer than their "24 hour guarantee", and they will charge you their service fee anyway despite what they say. No reason to wait 24 hours for bitcoins anyway, since switching to bitinstant I've never waited more than 2.

hell ya bros! i appreciate the help! we got to stick together! one last question. how much have any of you personally deposited at once? and do they go by whatever the mt.gox rate is to exchange to btc's?
also i read the options to send too on site
mtgox,  bitcoin to email. bitstamp,Btc_-e, bicoinica and virwox
now i seen radium1911 said coinapult.
so 3 ?'s  really now is what is the best in your own personal options to use as a ewallet that is free and reliable because doesnt mt.gox charge?
and second what have you done in size? like i mean there is time a need 2 to 400 or 2+ thousnd$$$, so i mean i know in states anything over i think its 4g's the account holder has to report to irs and looks shady on you on camera dropping it.  anyones experiance
and last question i live in a smaller town. so is it like a certain branch of banks anywhere? or how does that work?
thank you all for the info its great guys! i really appreciate it!

Bitcoin to email is Coinapult. Everything else deposits your money to an exchange where you then buy bitcoins.

For a wallet that doesn't charge, you can make your own using bitcoin software or just use the wallet on SR. Be sure to run your coins through Bitcoin Fog before depositing on SR.

If you need to deposit a large amount of cash, do it in multiple trips across different bank locations. 1 deposit of $4k is shady as hell, but 8 different banks where you deposit $500 each won't raise eyebrows.

Bitinstant takes deposits from Chase and Bank of America.

so the bitcoin to email that option is coinapult?  so excuse my ignorance in not knowing about coinapult is that a site or term like do they send you a link to deposit the coins to your email? or how does coinapult work? and do they give you bitcoins at the rate that mtgox goes by?
thanks again im feeling about ready to get started on monday! once i get last question answered!
thanx bros!
