Title: Cooking Ketamine
Post by: mito on March 12, 2012, 08:03 pm
So I have this 10ml vial of Ketamine, 50mg/1ml

I'm planning on cooking it following these instructions:  http://www.neurosoup.com/ketamine_user_guide.htm

I wonder if anyone has tried any of those methods.     Does it smell?

Yes, that's about right... no big secret. I've used the air dry method and the microwave method several times. Microwaving does create a peculiar smell, like somebody spilled medicine. Air drying is an odorless - but slow - process. Afterwards, just scrape it off with a fruit knife and crush it into a fine powder.

Happy tripping! :)

put it on a plate over a hot pan of water.. It'll evap quicker than the air dry method.. A small amount at a time.. Don't flood the plate

I wonder if K itself doesn't evaporate..............

Are there any losses?
Does K withstand high temperatures without breaking molecules?

How hard does it become over the plate?
How crushable is it?
Is it snortable?

It's a salt I think, I got a bottle of Vetlar about 12 years ago.. I used the plate method.. You keep scraping the plate you get fine crystals.. I only ever snorted, worked great for me, and I had no internet to show me how!!

You'll be fine, the only issue with cooking k is if you mix with tap water. if its already in the vial the only thing that can go wrong is if you spill it.

It is a salt and no k will evaporate, however the more heat applied the more damage done to the molecule. However, personally I prefer to cook k fairly quickly. Air dried k might be stronger, but its really compact and glassy and hurts more up the nose. If you steam it of a saucepan (like chocolate but on a plate) or do it in a microwave, it 'fluffs out quite a bit and is a lot easier on the nose. When cooked quickly you also increase the surface area (almost like popcorn) so the effects hit you quicker and wear off quicker too.

10 ml of k50 isn't a ton, if its your first time doing it I wouldn't share with more than 2 mates as after cooking you're gonna be left with less than .5g. Have fun
