So, I am going to by some bitcoins through some guy selling on craigslist should I have them sent to my Silkroad or my main silkroad wallet?
-
sounds like a scam
are you meeting him/her in person?
-
I wouldn't advise buying bitcoins until you know a bit more about the whole SR process ect.

I would meet up with them at their house give them the money they would send the coins to my account.

Sounds risky. What's to stop them from inviting you to a secluded area and just mugging you of your money? CL is well known for this. No reason they can't meet you at starbucks and xfer with their phone and/or laptop while you're right in front of them holding the cash.
You can send right to the site if it's a small amount and you are just buying.
Better if your wallet first, then here

Just emailed the guy asking if we could meet at mcdonalds It was all good with him. I found his facebook through his email its a 16 year old suburban kid about half my size not really worried about getting robbed.

There was a scam crew here that was posting as old ladies selling jewels and iphones. When you showed up to the apartment they had broken into three guy's rearranged your face with a tire iron and made off with all the cash you brought to buy the items. Probably is just a 16yr old kid but never underestimate the motivation of petty scammers and crackheads :)
Also wouldn't directly xfer here, site is down.

When going to sketchy apartments I always bring my registered handgun :) joke would be on them.
