Title: H vendors please read
Post by: discreetlyhere on September 26, 2013, 06:50 am
PLEASE read this message in it's entirety before writing this off.

I am new to SR. I am very excited and eager to join SR. I have tried to educate myself before making my first purchase. I am prepared to be a loyal customer to whichever vendor may adhere to my simple requests. I am a very respectful individual. I will not harass or complain about things out of vendors control (even being new here I see a lot of this). I'm in no rush and will not be upset if things are a couple days late. You guys are busy and are running very serious complex operations that I couldn't imagine doing. I will finalize promptly and provide great feedback. I'm looking for one vendor that I can trust my business with who will simply respect my privacy. I have simple requests

They are... To be Domestic (US), not to ever save or store my address (I'm very cautious as my career/life would be in jeopardy), never require a signature for package, and to be honest about product. I don't want to be giving out my address to every vendor. I just want one that I can trust and repeat my business with.

Basically I'm a bit hesitant and I am doing my best to make sure my first experience is positive. So any vendor interested or to ask questions please message me. I'd like to order a sample and then once I can confirm the product is legit you would be my sole vendor. I wont ever cause problems and promise to be an ideal customer. If you are willing to work with me for my first time I promise that you will find me to be a great loyal customer. Let's help each other

This isn't really how this place works, mate... I mean, I suppose you may find a vendor like this, but consider how your post would be received on say, Amazon.

I'd recommend just finding a vendor with great feedback and working with him. Honestly, no worthwhile vendor is going to be storing your information anyways, so if you go through one who isn't a newbie then you should be totally safe.

On a related note, I just placed an order with WorldOfTheD. He's one of the newer vendors, but if you check his page in the next few days you'll see my review (same name) for his product... Which at least I can assure you will be entirely objective, from an experienced user.

If you're still determined to try to establish a personal relationship with a vendor, consider messaging one of them on SR itself instead of the forum.

You are probably not gunna get vendors to come to you, you'll have to pick one yourself. But there are plenty of good choices. CarlitosBrigante was my first order on the road, I believe he makes you FE if you're under 1,000$ spent now though. Mrgood247 has great product at the best quality/price ratio around. He has an FE listing and a more expensive non-FE. Not sure what his policy on newbies is, but I haven't heard of anyone having problems with FE'ing. Also check out GotsItAll and SupremeSmoke - both have good product, and take newbies without FE I believe - their stuff is just more expensive, even though it's not better than Carlitos/Mrgood.

In case you don't know already, FE = Finalize Early aka go out of the Escrow Protection system and pay your vendor. As long as you stay in Escrow, you can negotiate with the vendor/SR admins if you don't receive a package, or aren't happy - you can get a refund. FE'ing pays the vendors and removes any possibility of a refund.

Also, you probably won't be able to stick with just one vendor because they all run out from time to time. And I would highly suggest avoiding stamp bags, unless you just like spending lots of money. Buying by the gram is always a better price.

Thanks for the advice fella's. Also is it common practice to not be required to sign for packages. It's a big deal for me and also I'd prefer not to have tracking as it seems to me tracking just draws more attention to whats being mailed. I am patient and am ok just waiting for it to arrive.

I think I'm going to go with subs if he responds to me. I'm still waiting for my first coins hopefully they get in before his next batch so I can sample it and find out what all rave is about myself. It seems like a lot of the good vendors don't want to deal with newcomers. Frankly, I can't blame them that sounds like good practice. However, everybody has to start somewhere...

Yeah any good vendor knows to waive the signature. Signature is only required on USPS Express anyways, not Priority. I have had a vendor who was kinda new forgot to waive the signature before though. It freaked me out but I picked it up at the Post Office and signed for it. That shouldn't happen to you. Also, if you plan to order from Canada I believe any express or maybe even slower shipping services required a signature, and no way to waive it. Not sure about other countries.. you probably just want to stick with US vendors anyways though.

Tracking is almost always gunna be used, but rarely will you get it. Some rare vendors will provide tracking numbers with all purchases, but that doesn't usually last. Others will only provide it if there has been a delay in arrival. And then the rest will either never give it up because they're paranoid or just don't have it. Tracking is a necessity in my opinion though, vendors use it to see that the package has been delivered successfully or not. Without that, any buyer could say they never received their package. That's why a lot of vendors will say something like "if it says delivered, then we're done."

Everyone always says never FE, yet most vendors ask new users to

Just kinda have to use your judgement man. I've FE'd a few times and haven't had any problems thankfully, but you never know. There are vendors that take new customers no problem though just look around on their vendor pages to see their policies.
