I've been wrestling with this in my mind whether to offer some of the fine ass garlic I produce. I'ts organic, high in volatile organic compounds. (potent) I monitor my soils so as to maximize the active constituents. The compounds found in garlic (especially good well cared for garlic) boost the immune system. There are other claims such as expedited removal of foreign substances from the circulatory system, however I have not found enough difinitive evidence in my research to pass this off as fact, I also make burdock, and thistle tinctures, which are supposed to aid in liver cleansing. If there is enough demand I will get a vendor account and begin sharing the fruits of my labors. Also each fall I make citrus, hop soap from organic ingredients from right here including the base. If anyone has any interest let me know, otherwise I certainly have no lack of things that need to be done.P.S. I feel like at some point in the near future the ability to produce your own food is going to be extremely important, so I would love to help others get on the path to a more self sufficient lifestyle. You don't need to do everything but we have a program in our area where each person does a few thing then it all get traded. Dinner is not going to pop out of your computer screens. If anyone wants to get started growing their own foodb just ask and I will do my very best to get you going in the right direction. YOU CAN GROW FOOD IN URBAN LANDSCAPES SO DON'T COUNT YOURSELF OUT. fuck zoning lawsw Peace.

these are not really black market items but with that being said the silkroad is not just a black market. There may not be a large market for this but there are plenty of people who are isolated and who do not have access to items like these. Much Peace and many good vibes to your new bussiness.

You know, just testing the waters. It would be nice making a little bit of coin to support my habits but my main goal would be to get people inspired to disconnect from a food system wich is in large part not doing us any favors.I feel this is in line with the philosiphy of this site and taking responsibility for ones self and actions as opposed to be waiting to be told what to do by "the people in power"
Life is short and you should live by the tenets that make you happy and fulfilled (as long as you are not impeding others from doing so) no matter what the "majority" feels like you should be doing. Sorry for the little diatribe but I would be happy to answer any gardening/farming questions people have.

Write a book, make a website, cater to the people that want to be self-sufficient or the people that love organic both of which are large demographics. And good luck.

I have no problem selling everything I produce, I am a well rspected producer but farming does'nt pay well so I am essentially trying to parlay my commodity and knowhow into support for my interest in drug use. Although I do appreciate your feedback.

If you can find a way to ship fresh garlic cloves, without them being damaged, or spoiling along the way, I'd say go for it!
I have been pondering the idea of selling my own blend of garam masala spice. In 3 levels of heat: Mild, Medium and Hot (Vindaloo style hot). I haven't said anything about it until now, because the food section of SR is really dry, making me think there wouldn't be much of an interest.
One thing that keeps the idea going, is the fact that there are sooo many weed-heads on SR, and maybe I am mistaken, but weed helps to increase appetite.. Also, for my age.. I have extensive food service experience. ALOT of the people I worked with over the years smoked alot of weed, and would usually come up with their own dishes on their off times. So, there has gotta be folks just like me, who slave over a stove/fryer/oven for a living, who smoke plenty of dope, who just may be interested in some garam masala to aid in their off-time cooking ventures.
Also, I am interested in handmade soap. Were you planning on doing hot or cold method for the fat and lye??

I render fats from my own animals, let it cool. Then I bring the lye and fat both to the same temp. Around 100 before starting the marathon stirring process. I would be shipping garlic as whole bulbs, they would also be suitable for replanting so as to grow your own. Thanks

Yum, I would be totally into getting some fine ass garlic, depending on the price of course. I've already got homemade soap down myself, but I live where you can't grow much for most of the year, so I miss getting delicious homegrown food.
