I've had a few other posts about my situation with Fast Forward. I had previously had 3-5 positive transactions with him where I FE'd, no problem.
Well, at the beginning of June his orders went to shit. I wasn't paying attention and FE'd on an Express order worth about $400. For a while, he answered my messages, telling me there's no way he'd rip me off, how could I ever think that of him blah blah blah. The tracking number he gave me, which he was too busy to look up on his own showed that the package was marked "Return to Sender" before even leaving his state. I have never given a vendor anything but my correct name and address. I believe that it was either illegible or incorrectly copied and since he presumably uses a fake return address, the package is lost forever. The tracking hasn't changed since 6/5 and I received an email at an address for which I registered delivery confirmation saying that a confirmation would not be available.
When he was answering my messages, FF blew a lot of hot air about how it was the post office's fault and that he would make it right. Hell, he promised me a reship over a month ago. Finally, he offered to provide "PROOF" that he had correctly addressed the package. Do you think he ever did? Of course not.
I'm sure many of you have had nothing but satisfactory experiences with Fast Forward. Hell, before this fiasco I recommended him. I would definitely think twice before ordering from him at all and if you FE on an order from Fast Forward, you may as well just flush your money away. If your package doesn't show up, he'll blame it on everything and everyone but himself and then say that it was your rudeness and impatience that are the reasons he hasn't lived up to his word. Note that in Fast Forward's world, if he has evidence that he *sent* a package, any package apparently, then he is off the hook. It doesn't seem to matter to him if the package gets delivered or not.
Fast Forward likes to portray himself as an honorable dealer, a man of his word, it sure hasn't played out that way on this transaction. I honestly don't know how he can stand to spout all that nonsense about how he would never ever screw me, when he won't even read my messages providing the information that he specifically asked me to provide on his homepage.
Right now I'm really wondering what has happened to that package, which may or may not have had a legible version of my address on it. Was it opened as dead mail? Will my address or the fake return address be flagged?
If anyone thinks I am making this up, or have some sort of vendetta against Fast Forward I am more than happy to refer you to many many vendors with which I have a wonderful relationship of mutual trust. I've been treated more respectfully by vendors with which I had zero history but who felt compelled to compensate me for orders that were only slightly late.

I have been told FF is giving away a tracking number which shows that the package was "returned to sender" and that was not his fault. A few of you need to get together and share the numbers he gave you. Me thinks you might all have the same number.

This has obviously occurred to me as well, but I definitely appreciate hearing the idea floated by someone else.
If anyone wants to send me a PM with the first half of the TN they got from Fast Forward, I promise to respond with the second half of the one I got.

I'm not sure exactly what you're getting at. I would never post any portion of the TN to a public forum, nor would I reveal the complete TN to anyone other than an SR administrator (or whatever they're called). But if someone was willing to trade the second half of their TN for the first half of mine, I don't see any harm in that.
Or am I missing your point completely?

In the interest of overall security, you might want to split it in a way that is more randomized (albeit more complicated), since it seems as though the second half of a Tracking# holds more information that poses a threat to SR members. Perhaps trade every other digit? (e.g. You: digits 1,3,5,7,9,etc Other Person: digits 2,4,6,8,10, etc)

p.s.: my order with FF took a long while to come correct 2-3 weeks back, but it did get fixed in its entirety...I'll update if anything changes with orders since. I have never FE'd for him, though.....FEing is kind of like fucking a hooker without a condom; you've known her a while, but you really trust her not to catch the clap?

Your idea of comparing TNs and how you want to do that is very good thinking. You could encrypt the sending with GPG, if you found someone having the same issue.
- If it matches yours, you have proof, so will the other guy.
- If it doesn't, it would be nearly impossible to figure the other part of the TN, making it impossible to track and halt the parcel or get back to any of you.
Where I'm getting at, is that you could spare yourself the hassle, because I "strongly suspect" you've been scammed. If reading that thread still doesn't ring a bell, I assume you could just paste this link into RC and might get your refund.

Anyone care to comment on how the resolutions are turning out?
I really think there needs to be a way to have info like this be stickied on the vendor's profile page until resolved. Cause otherwise, there's no disincentive to selective scam. The bad reviews scroll out of sight and out of mind.
By this point, I'm saying point blank that Fast Forward scammed me out of $350, and refuses to even read my PMs regarding the problem, even though he assured me from the beginning that there was no way in hell he would cheat me and I should relax and be patient and he'd take care of it. I would recommend not ordering cause you never know when this shit could happen again. "Oh, USPS screwed up. I'm working on it" <repeat until everyone gets bored and realizes they've been ripped off.>

Well it looks from his feedback page that other people are having the same problem. Why anyone would ever order from this lying scammer is beyond me. Here's what he posted on his page a month ago:
"I know so many of you can't help but wonder if you have been scammed. However, I hope deep down you all know this is not the case. I give everyone my word that all orders will be made right, IF you remain calm, respectful, and as patient as possible. I have no control right now over the orders; usps will deliver them eventually. In the meantime, I will be tracking and watching all packages. I am starting with the oldest orders and will be sending dcn#s to everyone asap. Most of the time they are not even scanning the items until right before delivery. This is a tough situation, but we will get through it."
What a sad sack of shit, totally unwilling to accept responsibility for his end of the bargain, but giving himself an easy out by saying he'll only deign to help if we remain calm, respectful, and patient. I got email from USPS basically saying that the package will never be delivered. Now I just have to sit back and wonder and worry about if the package was opened, because of it being dead letter mail.

Fast Forward has made promise after promise, all of which have been broken. And with his nonsense appeals that "deep down" we must somehow know it's not the case that we were scammed, he's hoping to carve out a place where he can live with himself. I try to never wish ill will on someone, but this combo of scamming people and then trying to tell them that they weren't in fact scammed is a major test.

Just so you folks can see the mentality of Fast Forward, here's the longest PM he sent me during this entire fiasco. It was in response to me stating that I would post the *facts* of our transaction to the forums. Apparently, to Fast Forward, facts the reveal him in a negative light are "slander".

Hey scratchthis. Since you and a few others are still waiting and USPS has lost there minds. Somethings are not getting to point B and its not benefitting me either. I didn't ask anyone to FE, and I am not scamming anyone, because I have not been paid either. Plus I spent all my money on shipping (this is a significant expense). I wish I could afford to just refund everyone or resend, but I am not rich and work hard for every penny. You have no idea how many orders or messages that I have to deal with. I am one person and am doing the jobs of about 4 men full time. I sent this item, and it is not my fault that usps is ran so poorly. My refund policy clearly states that if I have a dcn# proving that I sent an item, that there was no refund or reship. This isn't fair to me either and I have lost a lot of $ already when I did nothing wrong. I don't understand why you are blaming me for this when you have seen the dcn results. If you feel like slandering me will change anything, it won't. You will not get anymore responses from me and it will end there. I have done the best I can, and it isn't ever good enough. I wish some of my buyers could work with me 1 or 2 days to see what I go through. :( If you would just be patient and reasonable, I am open to what you have to say, but you agreed to my terms when you ordered and are breaking them by slandering me. I have lost thousands of $'s because of usps, so believe me I know how you feel. This situation sucks and it doesn't benefit me one bit. My health is suffering from sleep deprivation and stress; imagine having hundreds of angry customers flooding messages at the same time you are suppose to hunt dcn#s (100s of them), get orders ready, take care of real life bs (I do have a family who I never see anymore), and whatever else has to be done. SR doesn't sleep and it only takes 8 hours of sleep to get so far behind that it will blow your mind. I have given up everything to vend on SR for everyone, and I do my best and anyone that has dealt with me in the past knows this. A lot of people who are still waiting already placed other orders with me, because they know they will be taken care of. I am not a thief or asshole, but I am only human and that brings a lot of limitations to the table. I don't know what to do man, but am honestly doing everything I can to protect my business as well as my client's best interests. I don't want anyone getting screwed, and have already given many refunds/reships due to other reasons (usps completely lost a few packages). Don't know what else to say really, except I am here if you want to be reasonable, but If you already started posting slander about me, then you already chose another less desirable path, so it is in your hands now.

And again, he states that he's not scamming anyone because somehow because he didn't ask anyone to FE (although on his profile he certainly *encourages* people to FE) and so somehow that means he didn't get paid. If he can't afford to refund or resend everyone, perhaps then he might start with those who did FE. Nah, cause he knows there's no penalty for screwing them since it won't go to resolution with SR. Yeah, DCN results that showed for some reason the package you claim was sent to me was marked "return to sender". USPS stations get watched very closely on their performance on Express packages (for which this was one). I don't think they marked it "Return to Sender" for kicks. I highly suspect it was because the address was too faint to read, as previous shipments from FF had labels like that. Or it might have been because the postage was insufficient.
I don't suppose we'll ever know, because your promise to provide PROOF: "I can see you feel that more is needed from my end so here is the last proof I have to give you. I will encrypt the paper copy with your address and the excite same tracking number in a private listing that only you and SR can see. Let me know and I will set aside the time in just a bit to do this. " was made over a month ago. Your failure to do what you promised (again) wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that you *couldn't* provide such proof did it?
Sorry for the rants, fellow SR citizens. For you honest, trustworthy vendors who would like people to FE in order to better maintain cash and inventory flow, it's events like this one that discourage buyers from doing so. I still do FE for certain vendors, but I know that some buyers think I'm crazy for doing so. It's unfortunate that Fast Forward chose to make my behavior a path towards screwing me out of my money rather than rewarding the trust I had placed in him.
And for buyers who think I'm nuts because they've always had wonderful service from Fast Forward, that was also the case for me up until this order, which I think was my 4th or 5th from him. So don't think that it won't happen to you, particularly given his rather bizarre standard for his responsibility which is to provide a DCN showing that a package was *sent*, not received. Since DCNs do not display final destination until the package is delivered, that standard of proof is completely worthless. Since my order never left the state it was mailed from, who knows what address was on it?
