Post by: thatguynextdoor on September 19, 2012, 10:18 pm
Hey there is this thing i bought some weed here on SR and now when i rub the ash from a joint there is a brown oily substance left over on my fingers. what is that? i dont want to accuse the seller right now because i have no idea what that could have been?
if it's contaminated then it has been done well enough that you cant detect right away.

does anyone have an idea?

it's a cutting substance called brix. It's only made for cutting weed. it's liquid plastic with hormones and such fuck, so the ash is oily and dark from the plastic. on white paper you can draw with it. it's really fucked up that some gays cut really good weed with such crap only to make it much heavier. also i think it's very unhealthy, if you smoke it more days you will get pain in the throat.... some of this weed was everywhere to find on german streets a year ago but now it disappeared mostly. i think some people on sr selling such crap to, calling it "sprayed" and saying they don't know what it is, but google brix and you will know.
my advice, don't smoke that crap!
greetings

Brix is just a metric for sugar content. The higher a plants Brix level, the more sugars being produced in the plant.  Briximus Maximus for example is a Brix builder.

I've never heard of "brix" being used to contaminate weed? Possibly Brix in Germany has a different meaning?
