Title: Quick question about BTC
Post by: Oldeuboi on June 05, 2013, 01:50 pm
I often use BTC faucet sites to put a little bit of extra BTC in my wallet.  I was wondering if I could use my SR address for those instead of my wallet address?  That way I could avoid the transaction fee of sending myself BTC.  I know the fee isn't alot, but you don't get a lot from faucets in the first place.

CAN'T YOU USE BIT INSTANT TO DEPOSIT TO YOUR SR BIT COIN ADDRESS?

I don't think you quite got what I was asking.  Basically, can I have BTC faucet sites pay directly to my SR account?

Really?  I use a MultiBit wallet, and when I send BTC to my SR address there's like a .005 transfer fee or something.  Maybe I'm doing it wrong, I'll have to look into it, but I think I'm just going to start using my SR address for everything.

the fee is optional and configurable, it helps to move faster your btc, just read something about it how bitcoin works.
