Title: LEO Threats/warnings
Post by: mollysbf on May 02, 2012, 03:53 pm
I am kind of new here and was just wondering if these big posts that seem to be warnings to get off silk road have always been around? For the people that have been here since the beginning. I just see them a lot and after getting ripped by tony I get paranoid.

They are just trolls mate, don't let it get to you.

Tony MAY have been caught but if he has then it's most likely through being clocked making big transfers/withdrawals at the exchanges or just being unlucky because he is dealing IRL or something like that.

molly, I noticed the same thing -- there seems to be more of these warnings on here lately.  I think it's just trolls taking advantage of some of the negativity and paranoia surrounding the recent scams.  They all lack credibility for various reasons, IMO.

thanks for the reassurance....I would still like to hear from someone that has been here forever that posts like that have been around since the beginning. I guess I just wish Tony would pop in and tell us he ripped us off so I don't have to keep worrying that some canadian cop is drooling over my address somewhere.

It's very unlikely that he got busted.

The one thread mentions ONE person who ordered 3 grams among other things on the sale. That seems much more likely that it was just customs finding a package more than anything else. All the people who ordered full sheets of acid would be getting knocks on the door as well.

A bust like this would be HUGE knews. I really doubt the cops have ever knowingly caught a vender on here especially not the largest vender on the website. The media would be all over this, the average person would find it so interseting that a site like this could even exist and the amount of drugs tony was pushing is not a small ignorable number for the press.

Also, I doubt he saved everyone addresses I ordered from him twice and received both times. I'm not worried at all it's really incriminating to save addresses after you mail our product, basically just a book of evidence against you.

Possibly true, but at the same time if LE do have tony they may not want other dealers switching up their game. Feck only knows. Look out for new sellers form Canada in the near future...

Buyers get busted daily here, and today the first confirmed report of a vendor busted, and speculation about several other vendor busts.  If you haven't ordered anything, don't. Stay away.  They can track every thing you do.  LE is here to stay.

For the good of the community, would you just fuck off.

You're an idiot, everybody here knows there is a risk, nothing is full proof. ALL you are doing is spreading your bullshit paranoia. EVERYONE is here by choice, and choose to stay here, maybe cause for them there is far less risks involved from ordering drugs online than getting off their local street dealer.

So for the last god damn time, shut the fuck up.

A bust would take months for it to be released publicly. Remember when TFM went down?  They got busted in Sept 2011, way before we ever even publicly heard about it!

TFM was not busted in september 2011 and we heard about it pretty much the same day the arrests were made

What is that indictment dated 2011 then?

Unsure, but they were def still running in 2012 they could have just been holding it.  We knew pretty much sameday/nextday.  Me on the other hand I was on vacation and decided to take a look at the site then got redirected to DEA...

I almost shit a brick.

Indictment was probably from then, people are often indicted quite a while before they are raided and the indictment is then released after those indicted are in custody

People facing federal charges are frequently indicted months or years before they are raided and arrested, but after they arrest everyone its generally public knowledge immediately.

Sealed Indictments are handed down by the Grand Jury.  It 's up to prosecutors do decide when they'll unseal(make public) them.  Evidence gathering doesn't necessarily stop once they've gotten their indictment.

You're an idiot ...[nothing] is full proof.
Come on... bit harsh?  By the way, unless you're solving a complicated mathematical problem, it's foolproof not full proof.  I love it when someone calls another an idiot, and then, they fuck up ... ironic, eh.
