Hey guys :) sort of new to all this deep web stuff :P and was wondering how safe tormail actually is? Is it a honeypot? Or do I have nothing to worry about? Any other anonymous mail services out there you guys would recommend? Also I have no idea how to go about "basic encryption" or even where to start, like software that makes you untraceable for sure. As we all know the tor browser doesn't guarantee 100% anonymity or safety, so what services/software's should I get before I really start "browsing" as I'm not going to be just here. I plan to look around the deep web so I want to make sure I'm safe.
Thanks.

It's safe as long as you encrypt your sensitive information (Address, name, etc.)
PGP encryption.

Learn to use PGP. It's not that hard, honestly.

Its like any other tor service.. as long as you're encrypting any personal data (PGP).. you only run the basic risks associated with the holes in tor's anonymity (which shouldn't concern you unless you're being an idiot about how you connect/use tor)
