Title: Tracking Number Q
Post by: LocoKnight3 on February 22, 2013, 01:39 am
hello,

If I enter the tracking number into USPS from Google Chrome would they be able to trace my IP back negating plausible deniability if my package is seized?

I figure this wouldn't be as suspicious as if I were tracking my package from Tor and USPS notices that I've checked on the packages status from China one day then Netherlands the next...

ANY TIME you visit a website your IP address is transmitted. How can your package arrive to you if you don' t give an address? The IP address is the digital address of the computer.

Of course when you use TOR the traffic is routed through a different network that is supposed to hide your real IP address.

This has been discussed many times... use a 3rd party tracking site.
