As a lot of you may have noticed, SR went down for a while yesterday for maintenance, and now that it's back some things are missing. It seems there were some issues, and SR restored to an older backup (this is all just speculation) and a lot of people who were moving coins at this time lost them. I've contacted support, but haven't heard back yet. I assume they're very busy at the moment. Anyone else who is having problems, or knows anything about what happened post here. I'll keep this updated when I hear back from support. I'm currently missing ~65BTC. Who else is having issues?
-
I am missing 12 coins. Not really sure how it happened, except that all my finalization's and orders from last night were rolled back along with my BTC. I too have contacted support.
-
Same here except all orders were just deleted rather than rolled back. Messages saved fine, hoping they are proof enough of the orders I did have placed.
-
Has anyone heard anything from support? Starting to get nervous now
-
My friend lost 55 Bitcoin´s. I thought that the Bitcoin backup function brings them back, but nothing happend.
-
Earlier today I was going to send some BTC to my SR wallet but after hearing about all the missing coins/orders from yesterday I think I'll hold off.
-
So I've posted these questions in a couple other spots as well but I haven't heard anything back, not even some bored commentators or trolls trolling.
Anyways, I tried to send myself a large amount of coins about 38 or so hours ago because of the rollback they disappeared.
I have written messages to SR support but it looks like they haven't been opened yet.
So I'm really curious if any of the mods, or anyone who got their coins back, or really anyone who knows for that matter, is there another way to contact SR support?
I'm willing to be patient but because what I'm missing is a significant amount I really want to expedite the resolution of this situation.
Thank you so much for everything
-
Same situation here. A deposit sent several hours before maintenance has not appeared. Haven't heard back from Support.
-
Yeah I'm STILL missing 137 bitcoins... 137!
Ugh I hate to complain but jeez....
-
I, too, am missing quite a few coins. The auto-withdrawal function quit working, so I did 2 manual transfers. Neither of which have shown up. >:(
-
I doubt anyone else is as concerned about my situation as me but I thought I should let people in a similar situation as me to know that SR support did get back to me and they informed me that they are escalating my issue to DPR for resolution. So if you're in the same spot they will get back to you eventually. This makes me feel much better knowing DPR will be assisting me.
The only draw back is that because of all the problems that I'm sure the roll back must have caused that DPR probably has a long list of issues to get fixed before he can get to me.
Oh well, at least I know that I've got the attention of someone who can for sure take care of me.
-
I just checked, and my coins HAVE showed up. I don't know if it was just me being impatient or not. I did wait over 24 hours for them to show, but maybe sometimes that's not enough. Anyway, they are here now, so I feel a lot better.
I'm sure you will all have yours show up as well.
-
about a half hour ago I got a message from DPR himself. The coins have been found and credited to my account. Don't worry guys, he's gonna get everyone taken care of. Good luck all!
-
This is truly alarming stuff. I hadn't heard that people had actually LOST money in all this. I thought it was all replaced with earlier states of the database and that things would be restored. But if some really lost BTCs, that's completely unacceptable.
Unless a lot of people here are lying and trying to pull some kind of scam off SR, then we certainly have a serious situation here. Support must answer to all this. Course, in the worst of cases, if they one day see the stuff hitting the proverbial fan, and decide to steal everyone's account money, what can we all do? Call the cops? Yeah, right, that's funny. When you think about it, we are at their mercy for sure, and there's not a fucking thing we can do about it..
-
I'm pleased to announce that DPR was able to get me every single one of my missing coins.
They obviously have backups of backups and I'm sure anything involving the money has fall safe redundancy to ensure that even in the event if a full on catastrophe that the money is safe.
I'm sure the reason it takes as long as it does is because they must double check everything to protect themselves from scams.
I also wouldn't worry about them killing the golden goose. why would anyone steal something once when we are happy to pay them fees every single time someone buys something?
thanks again SR support and thank you DPR

Still no message or bitcoins for me )=
I missed out on quite a few items due to this rollback ...

~13 hours ago I received a response from SR support after 4 days. Confirming the coins did transfer, and that's it.
I'm not sure if support can see our accounts or not, but my problem is the addresses I transferred to are not linked to my SR account anymore b/c of the rollback. I still only have an available balance of ~$4, my $300 worth of coins is still sitting somewhere.
at least you're getting responses (mine are all still unread) and it's not $800 worth of btc.... =[

Are you sure about that? Why did we even experience a rollback if they have everything backed up properly? I mean, I get that shit happens but to me the only 'obvious' part of this mess is that it reveals a FAILURE of the backup system.

Yeah it does sound suspicious at least. But this business of selective helping of people is extremely frustrating.

About one hour ago I got a message from DPR himself. The coins have been credited to my account. Along with an apology for the delay and inconvenience.
Same here. That's a relief!
-
Me too!
Instant relief. Now I feel high on endorphins or something. XD

Oh, no.. I just added 80 coins and now the PIN issues.. I hope I dont lose them while I wait the seven mandatory days.... Is this really the best way to do this, 7 days? Or is this simply a manpower issue? Not complaining.. Just cusious/nervous.

Unfortunately you're in a hard place. Yes the only way is to wait the 7 days, believe me there's been many a discussion here about it. It does work though to prevent people committing fraud on your account .

i didnt want to make a new thread for one simple question so i post it here although it doesnt perfectly fit the topic.
i deposited coins to my sr account via bitcoin fog but they do not show up. i know it takes some time but that was 24 hours ago.
so the question is how long shall i wait before i contact an admin and who would be responsible, sr or bitcoin fog.
triple checked the sr bitcoin address btw. and it is the right one, it still shows in the withdraw box at bf.
i used bf some times before and the max. delay i ever had was 12 hours.
thats why i think something went wrong either on sr or bf.
edit: guess what happened...
it obviously can take more than 24 hours.
im leaving the fog...
