Hi all, I know that if I purchase BTC I need to route it through a few wallets first before laundering to SR.
But, what if I purchase some BTC from a local seller (that's not in any way associated with SR)?
What'll happen is I just meet up with the seller and give him cash and he transfers the money to maybe my instawallet or software address. Then I deposit the BTC straight from insta/software to SR.
This way, no personal information at all is exchanged. With this method, do I still need to route it through several addresses/wallets?
Thanks.

Personally I would still launder the coins through a couple wallets before sending it to SR just to be safe, but I'm also a bit paranoid. You just don't want the coins getting traced back to you or anyone you know because they can always try to make that link. Personally I use blockchain.info anonymous transfer option, it costs a bit but it launders the coins for you through about 100-200 transactions and makes the untraceable.

Guys you do realize that SR itself does Fog and tumble the coins somewhat themselvs when coming in? I always send my coins right to my SR wallet.. So do many ppl.. But its what makes u feel safe.
