Well I don't live in a medical marijuana state so what I think the strains were, might be wrong.

1) Green crack
2) og kush
3) white rhino

I wish I could still smoke :'(

Green Crack
Sour Diesel
SkyWalker

I definitely prefer strains that lean more towards the Sativa side.  Indica's are great for settling into the couch for the evening with a loved one while Sativa's are better for being active, playing sports, cleaning the house.   If most Indica's didn't make me so tired on the come down then I would probably like them more.

I find that once you build up a decent CBD tolerance, that the Indicas actually tend to be better for productive day-time smoke. Relaxing the muscles, without tiring out the brain. Keeps you feeling like you're on Oxycodone; you know? Like... it's a downer, but it acts as a 'pick me up' ? -I donno, just something I've noticed. Indica used to knock me up-side the head, and I'd pass out after a bowl or two to my head. Now, it's like my all-day/night smoke... and when I want to 'space out' on the couch, i mix in a high THC Sativa. :P

Sativas are actually better for general pain, imo, and Indicas tend to be better for acute pain. Both can be good for sleep, depending on the person - the a strong Sativa right before bed is usually never a good idea. lol

Oh yes, I definitely enjoy the mixing of strains.  Mixing them seems to create a totally different high than both of those strains smoked separately.

Definitely. I tend to be a purist; though hybrids are usually the strongest... I like to hand-select the genetic combos that I like. :P
