what i dont get about usps is why they just keep looping it when obviously they are having an issue.  if they can't figure out where to send it today, why do they think they can throw it in a pile and suddenly figure it out tomorrow, or the next day, or the next day...

The US Post Office is basically a job program. They over pay under-skilled workers too do menial jobs that are beyond their workers capability in most cases. I know what goes on behind the scenes at the Post Office and its no wonder they havent made a profit in any quarter in 20, 30, 40 years? But a common method to deal with problems is too pass it on too the next shift.

But your package has probably not had any human contact. They probably dont realize there is a problem. The way to fix this issue its too call the Post officer 3 or 4 times and tell them(one time wont work remember this is a government organization). But in this case I wouldnt recommend that you specifically call. I would say have someone you dont know call and ask about the package. Sense you have a DCN they will pull it off the line and check it out.

i had the same thing happen, i had one package scanned 6 times by the same machine, i called them up, gave them the DCN, and the net day someone returned my call and fixed the issue.   i would call them if i were you.

yeah i did call and they're contacting the facility to get it out of the loop.  i am surprised that they don't get notified when a package is scanned multiple times.  i wonder how long it would stay in limbo if no one bothered to contact them...

I wouldn't worry about it. I had a package loop at the same facility three times before being delivered. I didn't call or anything.

So...if LE was reading this would they now be watching the ****** Facility?   <sigh>

Good point... OP or mods, delete that shit. Might be too late now, but maybe not. Pretty dumb to leave such specific identifying information out in the open like that.
