Title: ONE STOP SHOP - Burned Me?
Post by: pinkdolphin2 on September 01, 2012, 02:17 am
Hey guys,

Ordered from OSS about two weeks ago today, I just received the package and inside was a vacuum sealed bag with nothing in it.  He hasn't replied to any of my messages in the past week and I'm starting to get worried he never will.

He sounded busy in the only reply he sent to me, he asked me to finalize early, he has nearly 100% feedback and it was only a small purchase so I thought I would help him out and decided to finalize it.  But, this backfired on me and he is ignoring my messages.

I sincerely doubt he'd do a runner for a few btcs, but I see many positive feedbacks recently.

To cut a long story short... what do I do if he's bounced off for good. Suck it up and accept the loss?

a) Selective scammed
b) You are the one scamming him, slandering vendor.
c) Nobody will ever know.

Guess what the correct answer is?

I'm still waiting on a reply, hopefully I will get one.

I've always heard of selective scamming but never thought that I would be a part of it.

Anything I can do to help prevent it from this specific seller?

Is it this vendor you're talking about:-

I can only see 3 of his reviews and 76.8% positive feedback. I can't see these 'many positive feedbacks' that you talk about, and with the score of 76, he can't have had many - to outweigh the negatives... Really sorry, but I don't think you stand a chance.

That seller hasn't been online for 19days, that's why you may not have had any reply. You should never, ever finalise early. Hopefully things will get sorted but then this can be used as a learning experience, not to finalise early unless its a seller you can trust (that means, you've dealt with them before, or have close to 100% Pos Feedback with a good number of transactions), and also not to buy from someone who has so little reviews/ low rating.

Hi,

while the seller I was talking about wasn't that OSS but was :
http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/index.php/silkroad/user/2e7ab4a238

I will still take the advice to never FE unless he is a well established seller.

The REAL OSS has just replied to me and everything seems to be resolved.
He sounds very professional and shouldn't be tarnished over a mishap.

Thanks for the help everyone, I will be updating when I get the package!

OSS burned you too?
Damn, I thought I was the only one (looking at their stats).
I pray LE will soon call it "Operation Stop One Stop Shop" (and I am not fond of LE by any means).
GREED leads to stealing and eventual destruction - Can't wait to read about it going down.

I too have had a "issue" with One Stop Shop...but I would never use the "LEO" wish on anyone...

What if that vendor happened to think you are the dick and just so happens he has your address....We should all play fair and understand that shit happens and thats what the resolution center is for.  Just dont finalize early.

Ive been waiting 2 weeks for my "package" to show...1 day till resolve option is up (he took his time marking in transit).  I sincerely hope you get your product/coins back.
