I have read through different guides throughout the internet on different ways to setup tor and have yet to find a guide that explains what I need done. When doing regular browsing (not on Tor network) I have several layers of security. I use a VPN (OpenVPN) and a third party socks proxy app that runs in the background (icon always in my taskbar). I use Privoxy to make sure every connection on my computer is run through my socks proxy (with the exception of the actual proxy selector app, which connects directly).
However, when I use Tor it does not run through Privoxy since it is a portable bundle with a pre-configured firefox, so it only connects to Tor. My question is how do I run my socks proxy app on top of my tor connection so that I can visit hidden sites on the Tor network (.onion) but my IP address will be the socks proxy that I have selected (I can select anywhere in the US)?
