Title: Gift Cards: If using a dump, and buying a gift card, could GC still be traced>
Post by: Blksheep on May 14, 2013, 12:05 am
Using a dump and then purchasing a gift card with dump, how hard would it be to trace that gift card, while person is using gift card for purchases at a store?

Can that card be located at point of sale and camera catching transaction? Is this normally done this way by Fed's?

Just curious and need to settle an argument!

If the gift card has a unique serial number that can be traced to the time and location of purchase (which it probably does), then yes. I wouldn't risk it.
