Title: Shake vs weed?
Post by: Arrov123 on January 31, 2013, 12:55 am
Shake is generally much less expensive than "real" weed, even though it is weed, just crumpled up. Is the high from shake worse than the high from bud? If anything, I'd assume there would be more trichomes.

I think that a big part of it is bag appeal (shake has none which makes it useless for reselling and just generally makes it look unappealing) and the other part is the bad connotation to the term "shake" which also conjures images of shredded weed and stems

shakes are mostly leaf falling from the weed that carry less THC crystals, some shake are just as good as the buds ;D, really nice  to make brownies and hashes

Anyone selling "shake" on the road is most likely just selling trimmings...

In real life shake is more likely to be really dried out and crushed up nugs that are no longer in nug form.
