Title: A quick question regarding vendor
Post by: Gunit666 on July 02, 2013, 03:41 pm
Hi all, I'm probably being a wee bit paranoid but is it usual for a vendor to clear their entire listings? I'm not gonna name them as its probably nothing but I've placed a domestic order not a huge amount compared to what others spend I'm sure but most of my spare money is tied into this (I didn't FE) what would you guys recommend I do if nothing turns up over the next week ?

Glad everything turns out well. Just want to share a piece of information which might be useful. Few days ago I posted "We're going on holiday from this date to this date" and keep my vendor page online while we're out of town, because we want customers to know that we're on holiday, and not disappearing. When I'm back, my vendor page is on vacation mode (not listed). This is a proof that SR care about buyers by preventing them from placing an order while the vendor is on vacation. So that's probably what happen to other vendors too since these few days are holidays in some countries.
I'm sure there must be some vendors who are not honest, but I believe most vendors here make satisfying amount of money and won't hurt their own reputation by scamming buyers.  :)
