So here's the situation. It's very small dollar amounts ($75), but it's really a principal thing and before I decide I would like some feedback from the community...
I recently resumed vending activities for MDMA. I stated a FE policy for customers under 5 transactions, or with bad return percentages.
BUYER made a purchase, and I looked at his stats. He had 5 purchases for like $2.58. I asked him to finalize early, he agreed. I prepped the package and mailed it first class. I used one stamp because it was a very small mailer.
A few days later buyer updated the feedback with positive feedback, then later messaged me saying that he made a mistake and he had not received it. I thought this curious, went through the normal questions on if he had roommates, gave me the right address, etc.
I also went to the post office with 2 duplicate test envelopes that I mailed to a friend. The first I asked the postal clerk what the postage was, and it was borderline 1 stamp/$.92. She posted it $.92, and I asked her what would happen if I sent it with 1 stamp. She said it would be delivered, perhaps postage due, they never hold mail. The 2nd envelope I dropped into a blue box with 1 stamp.
Both arrived, the 2nd a day later. The second did not come postage due...it was delivered just fine.
So my logic tells me that either this person is trying to scam me, very politely...for a free gram. But at the same time, I want to be fair and have great customer service, and I don't want my 100 feedback janked.
What say ye, SR citizens?

Bump now that people are awake ;)

Well, nobody replied, and the person never messaged me again...so I think I'm going with "scam" especially after reading about the same thing attempted on a couple other vendors recently.

This really should be in the vendor forums.

Um, honestly I didn't even know a vendor forum existed until today :) But I was looking for feedback from buyers...
