Title: Anyone feeling generous and giving me a PM tutorial of how exactly to use PGP?
Post by: SecretMeerkat7 on May 31, 2013, 11:37 am
It's really the only part of this whole SR process that I don't feel 100% certain with yet.  I've downloaded the program, read a few tutorials, even tested it out once by sending someone a message (to which I never received a reply to), but I still have a questions and concerns.  Will be making my first SR purchase next week and really want to be be fully ready, and for me personally that includes how to properly use PGP.  If you're feeling up to answering some questions, shoot me a PM.  Much appreciated!

..... deep sigh ... ok I'll do my bit for the community and tell you to go and have a look at the 300+ page "PGP  for noobs" type threads over in the "Security" section of the forum .... and next time have a look and UTFSE before posting ... ok? :0)  cheers!

thanks for the reply, yeah I actually have read over that thread, but I'm still not 100% sure that I'm doing everything correctly.  maybe if the person I messaged with the test message would reply I'd feel a bit better about it.

Read the OP here (just the opening post no need to scroll through the whole thread):

Read the wiki here:

http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=PGP/GPG_Encryption

If you don't get it after read through those, try looking on youtube for something like "pgp tutorial" or "how to use pgp"

I was really lucky school, when I went the library they taught us to open google and search for answers to questions, normally they pop right up after a little reading.
