I'm in the resolution center for the first time. A vendor sent me the wrong product. We agreed to a 30% refund on the product over messages but he hasn't posted anything in the resolution center or responded or seen my messages from three days ago. so i C&P'd the messages over into into the resolution center and made my new resolution 30%. Now it's due in 18 hours. Have i done everything correct? Will i get the 30% back in 18 hours?

If a vendor fails to respond to your settlement in the resolution center, almost always SR support will judge in your favor. In other words, most likely you will get 30% back.

I recently had a somewhat similar experience with a vendor, and I was really, really impressed with the resolution.
A listing came up that I was REALLY excited about. After the product arrived, I quickly weighed it and finalized with a 5/5 - because I received product and it was over weight. I was a little concerned about the strain (color was wrong), so I held off on writing a review.
Product wasn't at all what I ordered and I was REALLY bummed about it. Contacted vendor (even though I'd already finalized) and they were very open to the conversation. After a few messages were exchanged and posting a photo, they apologized profusely and offered a 100% refund. I was stunned at the offer.
I told them 50% was very fair. Given what's going on here, it seems fair that we all share in the risk - even when the vendor takes 100% responsibility for the error. Many, many thanks to SR and the many really honest, stand-up vendors out there.

Really only 30%? Was it determined what happened to the package? Like whose fault was it that it didn't make it?

If he shipped fake stuff than you should and probably will get all your coins back.
You gave him a pretty generous settlement offer which he/she ( from what you describe) did not make good on. I would take that off the table at this point.
I hate to see people get ripped off. You got bunk and and he gets to keep 70% of the money.
I mean something getting lost, stolen or seized after mailed is a shared risk but getting fake stuff is getting scammed.

That right there is a vendor that would receive my loyalty when dealing with a situation like that.
If there is ONE thing i dislike ,it is vendors not taking responsability when you are one of those buyers that are very involved and care for their vendors like an idealistic fool ;).
In the best vendor-buyer relationship the buyer also have to go the extra mile for good communication like you did.
Very admirable on both sides, loving it!

If the vendor made good on the settlement I might agree with you but he didn't.
