First I want to thank all you regulars here for answering my questions and putting up with such a newb! I bought my BTC's from BTCKing and it was a totally excellent transaction. I had planned to continue using BTCKing and had not heard/read any reason not to. But it just so happens BTCKing is down for maintenance today and I am eager to make a transaction. So I discovered another newer BTC vendor named BTCmaster with a similar model to BTCKing where you deposit money into a numbered account and they fund you account with the BTCs. So far so good. So I decided to compare the costs. I found that BTCmaster charges a flat $6.25 per BTC. I'm not sure I can articulate BTCKing's algorithm but for my last transaction it ended up being $6.035 per BTC. So BTCKing is cheaper. OK. It is what it is and if I have to make the transaction today I will have to pay a little more or I can wait for BTCKing and do it tomorrow (or explore other potential vendors who use BofA).
But then I was looking at BTCmaster's feedback and one of the comments said "fuck BTCKing". Now I'm eager to understand why they feel that way. BTCKing is cheaper, funds the account lightning fast, and seems to be the largest seller of BTC coins. What would cause someone to want to nearly 22 cents more for the exact same sort of business model? Perhaps for smaller transaction BTCKing ends up more expensive? I'm just trying to understand what I am missing that would make a vendor that seems more expensive to be more attractive.
I did a quick search and I can't see any major complaints about BTCKing. In my case I stopped at the bank on the way to my office. By the time I got there the coins were in my account and ready to go. I wouldn't use a vendor that couldn't fund immediately. Anyone have any thoughts on what the whole "fuck BTCKing" was all about? Sure I get that someone may have had some kind of negative experience. I'm just double checking that my choice in default BTC vendor is sound!

I have used BTCKing in the past for a bank transfer. The coins did arrive fast and BTCKing is nice and has good customer service. However, I was not happy that I paid $60 in fees on a $400 purchase. I didnt complain but 15% is alot and I wont be using him again.
