Title: Bitcoin Problems
Post by: tfbh on October 07, 2012, 05:58 pm
So about two weeks ago I sent 5.50 BTC to my account and they did not show up. After one week I refreshed my address and send 4.50. They have not showed up, and today I send .90 and those DID show up. What happened to my other 10?

I have no clue What is going on but in the last 16 hours I have watched .82$ just disappear  it seems my coins are just randomly decreasing by .01 cents every  time I refresh.

Follow your transactions on the blockchain to see where they went ( if they went to the correct place)

I used bitinstant to transfer bitcoins to a btc address, it's been 15 hours and when checked on the blockchain it says one btc address sent two separarte transactions to two separate btc address, one of which is mine and the arrow next to both addresses is red, which I assume means it has not entered the btc address yet, and in my wallet it reflects so, NO BITCOINS RECEIVED, this hasn't happened with me before and I am wondering what to do now, I have verified btc address and contacted bitinstant and they say to check blockchain.info... help?

Your answer : what happened is that ( especially last weekend ) BTC took a little drop so does your money .
What you have to understand is that btc isn't a stable currency it takes values and loses some depending on people buying it or selling it !
What I suggest you is to try to buy your BTC and make your order on the same day to avoid any of those fluctuation

note : fluctuation can be good also ask some old SR buyer/seller
