Somebody please tell me what is happening with deposits today. I transferred bitcoins into my address as usual and they never were added to my account. I messaged SR support and 2 hours later was asked for the address I gave. I gave them the address where the bitcoins were sent over an hour ago. I'm still waiting for a reply. The bitcoins should have been in the account 3 hours ago as I've seen the transfer details. I was assured they were deposited into the account over 3 hours ago. Please someone let me know what's going on here.
-
I'm having the same problem. Blockexplorer shows the initial transfer was made, and then they were withdrawn (SR tumbling I believe-- the immediate withdrawal has happened before, it's just this time they have yet to reappear). But none of this shows up on my account history. The transaction was made 3.5 hours ago now.
-
Obviously we're not the only ones then. I've been a member here for 4 months, with over 30 transactions and at least 10-15 deposits. Never a problem depositing once. It would be nice if someone here in support would let us know what's happening. My reply to them asking for the address hasn't even been read yet.
-
I am having the same issue. I just sent coin from my wallet to SR and all the transactions are confirmed, but no money in my account yet. I have done several transaction before with no issues please keep us updated SR admins. I would like to know what is happening and when it will be fixed
-
I am having the same isssue, I made my first small test transaction from instant wallet and it hasn't cleared yet 10 hours, hopefully this is not the norm
-
Have you guys checked to make sure your transactions have been confirmed? I know mine have and I'm still having these issues. It has never taken this long to get money into my SR account
-
I saw my transaction details already. It was deposited into the bitcoin address account over 3 hours ago. This transaction looked like all the other ones previous. No one has any idea why the accounts aren't being credited. I don't understand why Support won't answer any messages and just let us know what's happening.
-
Stuff like this happens all the time i've been a member here for only 3 months and I'm used to it. Support is probably getting tons of messages right now, be patient it's all you can do. I myself wasn't able to purchase the item i wanted and unfortunately the seller ran out of stock. Shit happens get over it ;). Support will fix the problem like always though.
-
this is the first time I've ever seen it. If you're right, then that's fine. But why don't they just tell us? Problems happen, no big deal. But just fill us in, that's all, so we're not blaming the service that transferred them.
-
same here - 6 hours n still waiting...
and I agree with seeker4517 - if theres issues thats no problem at all, just let us know! obviously there are loadsa ppl havin this issue - i've seen similar threads from today with the same issue - can't take long to post a message on the silk road homepage letting people know, they'd get alot less pms from people asking the same thing that way
-
Never had a problem before. Very relieved I came on here and saw I'm not the only one.

Well knowledge of Bitcoins tells us if you lookup your address on BlockChain you can find if the transaction made it and how many confirmations there are. Please look into this if you are worried about the services which you use.
-
The service emailed the blockchain to me. That's how I knew they should have been here as usual.
-
Same here, deposited over 9 hours ago, still no money in my SR account. I have over 45 confirmations, and have done numerous deposits to my SR account. This is the first time it has ever happend to me.
-
I knee deep in it with you all too, and probably contributed with the flood of messages(only one tho) to support wondering wheres my coins at. I have been so paranoid to trust putting my money in bit coins. This is not helping :-\ lol. Lets hope for the best.
-
blockchain say they got recived but it also says there send somewhere again... i hope for the best
-
>:( I don't like the sound of that. I saw that too. Was it two addresses?
-
yes two addresses.i sent 9 bitcoins to my bitcoin wallet then 5 and blochchain say they got recieved.then there are two points wich sent 9 and 5 bitcoins to other addresses.(the two addresses).
my balance just show zero...
-
Glad I checked the forum. Also deposited about 8 hours ago and its still not appeared.
-
I wish i would of checked sooner. before i sent my coin but at least we know its not just one of us. Otherwise might of just got written off as a hacker or being accused of not doing it correctly.
-
Same thing here. 12 hours and waiting. Its ok for SR to have problems, but it would be nice if they gave us an update.
-
Same shit for me... transferred coins from bitcoin wallet to SR yesterday (transaction confirmed) and still no coins on SR by today :(
-
Same problem - bitcoin dealer says bitcoins were deposited several hours ago and included a link to blockchain records which show money has gone into my silk road account and been spent. In fact no money received or spent according to my account on silk road. Its good to know others are having the same problem but it would be good if SR responded at least on this forum (if not to our individual emails).
-
same here, i can“t even log in with my regular name here on the forum!
-
Having same bitcoins not appearing in account problem. Its been around 7 hours since the coins were confirmed.
It also took me a good 10 attempts to login :\
-
Add me to the list as well. Been about 7 hours since confirmation, and not in my SR account.
-
Same here. Appears to be recieved on blockexplorer but not showing in my account yet. What gives? Made the deposit ~7 hours ago, normally a lot quicker,
-
18hrs still no money....
-
if they haven't posted soon, maybe we should all start our own threads to make sure the subject is seen? these keep getting bumped down
-
I transferred coins from Mt.Gox last night (over 12 hours ago), and they haven't shown up yet. I should have read this forum before bombarding SR with messages every hour, but just because there are 10 other people with the same problem doesn't make me feel any better. In fact, this problem and the lack of any response from SR is starting to worry me.
-

I also received a message from the support staff asking for the address I sent my coins to, but haven't heard back from them since. It has been about 8 hours now. I was posting under the username barnone, but now I am getting errors when I try to log in to the forums. I wish the SR staff would fill us in on the issues and let us know when it will be fixed.
-
I'm at about 19 hours since the first of three btc transfers that still haven't shown up.
-
When was the last time anyone got a response from the SR tech support?
-
I had sent 8.7 BTC to my silkroad wallet over 6 hours ago and received nothing. I have a link to http://blockchain.info which proves that transaction was actual. It also shows I had no money on this BTC address before today's transaction. It's false, I had already had 3.47 BTC on this address . It's a serious problem, and I want explanations and, of course, I want my money! Does the SR administration read this forum or I need to PM them? Who is really responsible for it and whom can I safely show blockchain.info output?. I'm rather new to SR and my native language is not English, sorry for this stupid questions.
-
Checking the blockchain explorer my BTC was sent to my address then it was sent to two other addresses which are
1DwuMdqKYV99tzPTdhauaBoFwBWvYFkDnY
19WtSm2ouGXGz4HSovcdMGBP68fFXqwxVz
one of these addresses has barely anything in it, but the other one shows 1500 BTC
Not sure what to make of this?
Was anybody's BTC sent to either one of these addresses?
-
Sent them close to 15 hours ago, still nothing.
-
Same issue as well, no coins, no support, can't login to forums. But about the suspicious transactions; I'm pretty sure it's normal, and part of the tumbling system.
The issue is probably not with the bitcoins and addresses, but with the SR website/database. The bitcoin rates are also incorrect.
Silk Road displays a rate of 1BTC = 10.3495$, however the current rate is 1BTC = 10.69$.
-
Guys, we all have the same problem. WTF should we do with this? All the money transactions should be returned to owners deposits or the Great Silkroad would appear to be just another web-scammer site. :(
-
I have a few coins in limbo, and I can't log into my forum account. I hope my coins are ok, they're friggin expensive right now.
-
This is bullshit! Where's our money??? It's bad enough getting ripped off by crooked vendors, now the site is ripping us off!!??? Support is useless. Not even a reply. A total lack of respect and consideration. Do you have any idea how much money they are stealing? Is this how it ends? They keep our funds, don't reply to messages, and then the site disappears. This really sucks! Now they're blocking us from even logging in to the forum to complain so more people try to transfer funds here. Unbelievable!
-
Yea, I am also having horrible issues with my login to the forums as well.(stenoj) My 2 pms haven't been read but due to scale of issues its probably flooded with messages. It is annoying feeling out of control but I want to continue posting so the issue is noticed. People should probably stop sending funds until we hear something. Its serious, it should be noted across the boards. Were not bitching, we went through all the right channels. We weren't sending money grams to strangers for coin. From my understanding this was suppose to provide a safe haven for people to avoid being ripped off, scammed, and community based. So how many experienced travler's are having issues and has it happened before? How was it delt with. Anything out there? Fingers crossed for some sort of resolution.
-
This is fucked
-
I'm sure SR is getting flooded with messages about the deposits and forum login issues.
-
I think we all deserve an explanation or update on what is going on from the administrators. The last time I heard anything was ten hours ago and it was just a request for my address that I sent my coins to. I read somewhere else that sellers are having issues too. Not sure if that's true though. This is the third name I have registered to post on the forums, seems like an error occurs when I try to use my existing username and password. I'm not sure what we can do, but sit here and wait for some answers. I hope we hear something soon. I think it is too early to even think that SR is scamming (please don't be true). SR show me my money!
-
i sent 10 bit coins 7 hours ago they still ain't arrived but i sent 1 bit coin 3 hours ago and its arrived
-
check you bit coins mine just whent in
-
Had the same problem, but it seems to be solved now.
All coins are where they should be :)
Don't worry little boys, just relax :D
-
How was a member able to log in and claim he got paid? No one else can get on here without a new account.
-
Just got my coins into my account took about 11 hours. Incase anyone cares i was using MTGOX.
-
good to hear that coins are making it. hopefully mine show up soon!
-
My coins made it through. The total time was 24 hours. Since others are reporting the same thing it looks like the problem is being fixed, so you can relax a little bit if you're still waiting.
-
Yeah guys this also happened to me last week. I made a deposit into mtgox on friday and then transferred to my SR wallet. The BTC was received (as confirmed with bitcoinexplorer.com) but the coins never showed up in my wallet. I messaged SR support and Dread Pirate Roberts answered a few hours and the BTC was added from admin. So any of you who are worried about missing BTC should know they are working on it and will be getting to you it just takes a little bit some times.
Dread Pirate Roberts: so sorry for the delay. please use a new address from now on by clicking the "get new address" link on your account page.
-
About 20 minutes ago the coins finally hit my account. THEN 10 minutes later, they were gone again!!! What the hell is happening? Has this happened to anyone else?
-
After about 20 hours my btc finally went in to my Sr account. Promptly spent them.
-
I got my coin. SR support sent a message saying they were swamped and didn't have the time to post on the forums. All I know is that I got my coin. It might have taken about 24 hours, but at least I got it. See guys SR wasn't try to pull a fast one, they all ready kill it with all the transactions going on
-
I too spent mine with the quickness. Can't wait till next week for my goodies :)
-
They just came back. The history shows a deposit, then a deduction in the same amount, and then put back about a half an hour later. So the fix is probably still being worked out. So if anyone sees this, I guess it will resolve itself. Thanks everybody.
-
My coins have not yet made it through after more than three days. SR has not responded to my initial message about 36 hours ago. First time user, very nervous that I lost a few hundred $. Should I contact them again? Keep waiting? Ugghh.
-
I'm new to this too and I am wondering if it takes longer for more coin. Hope all works out seeker.
-
I heard back from SR support who said that the bitcoin account I sent my money to is not an SR account. However, it's the exact address displaying on my account page after "to deposit bitcoins, send them to this address." Am I missing something?
-
Not that I know of. I was always scared of the transaction over bt coin and read so many stories like this. Copy and paste the addresses to SR possibly with the supportive text? Always check them carefully before transfer and hopefully it will work out. Hopefully you get sorted. I am still trying to find the confidence to continue my travels too so I am paying attention to your situation among others. Being a noob is scary in this realm and hate the idea of literal 'disposable income' I like my money and like it to be where I plan for it to be. The community seems awesome and DPR seems to stay on top of things. best of luck m8.
-
Sorry to keep bumping this thread; had I known how long my situation would endure, I would have made a new one in the first place. SR admin did respond that the bitcoin address was correct (they had been looking at the one I sent from not the one I sent to). However, they also said that it appeared my account was credited 3 days ago which it was not. I would love to complain, but using SR is obviously a risk in and of itself. How could I expect an operation like this to have great support?
I am kicking myself because I honestly didn't see this part of the process as being a risk or I would not have sent all of my bitcoins at once. In retrospect, I should have sent just a few to make sure it worked. The thing is, I did not think that transferring bitcoin to my SR account was the risky part. Considering how nice the website looks and the activity level in the forum, I didn't think the entire infrastructure of the site could be a scam. I'm not saying it is, but if I lose this much money, it might as well be. That bitcoin was basically all of my extra spending money for 2 months. :(
-
Whew ... right when I had almost given up, the bitcoins came through. Thanks to SR support and StenoJ.
-
Awesome. great to hear. Now get to the good part . ;D
