Does it matter? It requires you to basically verify who you are, submit ID, etc.. Thoughts on that?
-
I think they ask for details so that people are less likely to scam/ run scammed money through their system? unsure.
-
you shouldnt have to verify it at all, anyway I find intersango slightly cheaper
-
you need to verify your account to increase withdrawal limits and to fund it using dwolla.
-
You need to verity so the globalist central bankers can rape you in every possible way... maybe not today, but eventually.
-
If you are in US you can use dwolla with verified mtgox for very low cost and very slow btc transactions.
-
My question is on anonymity. Would this jeopardize it? Is it possible to trace bitcoin transactions back to my mt.gox and my id? Also, is there a better way out there to do all this without mt.gox? Right now I have a funded dwolla account which is why they want me to verify mt.gox

if you buy your coins on the exchange and then send them immediately to your SR bitcoin address this can be traced back to you. You'll have to put your coins through a tumbler to make them anonymous.

Can you recommend a good tumbler? Sounds kinda scary, don't want my bitcoins to be lost
