Title: due date extension in resolution
Post by: anonman88 on October 28, 2012, 06:18 pm
i am currently in resolution with a vendor. i have made multiple requests for him to extend the due date, however he has not done so. i have messaged him about accepting it, and he said it would automatically be accepted. he has also said in private messages that he would accept the extension, however has not done so. its listed as having 24 hours until sr support is supposed to take a look at it, do i have to worry about the due date being extended?

he should technically accept it,

however if he does not, when the time expires SR will automatically look at the resolution and decide what to do - since you have recommended an extension they will almost for sure extended the period to wait for your order to arrive

you dont have to worry about it auto-finalizing or anything when it runs out

even if you had requested a refund - they would likely extend it for a little to wait for the order

thank you very much for your reply, you really eased my nervousness. i've extended the due date before for vendors, but i've never had a vendor just not accept it, which is what had me worried.
