[Sat Nov 10 08:50:21 2012] Invalid Destination Hostname - One of your applications tried to establish a connection through Tor to "www.silkroadvb5piz3r.onion", which Tor does not recognize as a valid hostname. Please check your application's configuration.
This is the Message Log I receive (via Vidalia Control Panel) each time I attempt to access SR. Please note the www prefix. That prefix is not part of the address I place in the address bar, nor does it appear in the browser's final (failure) message: The connection has timed out - The server at silkroadvb5piz3r.onion is taking too long to respond.
Is this the same error messaging that others are receiving?
Would it be possible for a moderator to place a sticky atop the "Technical Support" forum addressing this issue? It's been well over 48 hours since I have been able to get on SR using the onion router's up to date TorBrowser v.2.2.39-5.
Thanks for reading.

Yes, we are all receiving the same error. Look around the forums there are about 10 topics about this.

Thats because firefox is appending 'www' to the link after it times out initially. That's not a valid onion address.

Everyone can stop panicking and spreading misinformation. An admin has posted about the situation here: http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=70572.0
The only thing left to do is wait patiently and stop making threads asking the same questions.
