Hey, all!
I've been reading old scientific articles on Delysid (the trade name for LSD) and many of them suggest taking Chlorpromazine (Thorazine, a drug usually prescribed to schizophrenics) to abort a trip.
While I've never had a bad trip and am recklessly impulsive enough to keep anything around to stop a bad trip (I guess I do have my Niacin that I take anyways and my Xanax if needed), I'm curious as to the efficacy of Thorazine or similar drugs. Does anybody know what it feels like when you take Thorazine while tripping? Do the effects gradually subside, do they just become sedated and less intense, or what?

xanax aborts well. no need for nasty psychiatric drool makers.

True, but I'm mostly just curious as to what it feels like out of.. well, curiosity.
I'm curious if it feels like the trip is completely neutralized, or if the user enters some sort of neutral limbo until both substances fade off.

Yes, I have a history with injected thorazine or haldol. Let's not discuss why.
I will say that it feels exactly like what it was deemed when it was created: the chemical lobotomy. It feels like half your brain has shut off, and you may very well not be able to remember things as it has high muscaric (?) properties.
There's nothing enjoyable about it. To an extent, I much rather try to turn the bad trip into an okay one as opposed to try Haldol.
Benzos are your best bet unless you absolutely must abort, unless you have a few hours to zombie-like living.
