Title: Pain Relievers
Post by: ind1g0 on June 27, 2012, 01:01 am
I've lurked the forums and the listings daily and I was wondering why opiates.. mainly vicodin and percs (10mg) are so expensive? I understand that this isn't the 'streets' and this is a different situation, but how come there are pharmacies that are producing large amounts of xanax (currently waiting on a large delivery) at a very good price. Are vicodin and percs so controlled that you cannot obtain large amounts? I currently get vic 10s from someone @ 4 a piece which is fair I suppose since I can resell for 6-7 depending on customer. 5 is really the going price here. Also I would take the 5mg if I could get them for less than street value (~2.50-3 maybe 4 if I'm pushing it) but lowest bulk I've seen is 4.30 or so per.

I'm more than willing and able to drop some coin on serious bulk offers, there is a good market here. I still have a lot to learn about SR and this in general, but I do know there has to be options out there. Any suggestions or PMs will be appreciated. I have a stock of 30mg morphine (small purple round pills) I've seen others sell on here, I saw a listing earlier I believe @ 16 a piece. I can beat that price and I'm having problems finding interested parties here locally. Any vet want to take me under their wing and give me some advice? I've tried researching why the opiates are so expensive, which I understand why and can see why people pay so much, but why is there such a void in bulk/decent pricing. (IE, 2-3 dollars @ 500 or more).

Once again, any help is appreciated, I will look around in the forums more for information, but thank you for your time.

I suppose the price is related to the risk really. Medically used opiates are mostly schedule 2 substances, whereas benzo's are schedule 4. This doesn't affect production cost of the drugs, but it does increase the cost/risk of taking them from controlled circulation to general availability.

Also, international availability has a role here: walking into some indian pharmacy with ample cash will easily buy you benzo's, but not opiates.

That makes a lot of sense. I will have to look up the different schedule types of drugs and see how it works. Thank you for the informative post, it does clear up a lot of things. I just wish I could meet some special people still  ;D

Thanks again for the info, I'm going to research more about this.
