Would be nice if the seller had an opportunity to respond to a Buyer's "Review".
What if a buyer says something that is incorrect in a review then how can a seller dispute?

There should be something...but I dread the day we start doing like eBay, where buyers get 'reviews' also...as then, like on ebay, the sellers hold buyers hostage, and won't post feedback until buyer posts positive feedback...it's still that way, tho they try to clean it up a bit...I agree, right now sellers are kind of at the mercy of a dishonest buyer...on the other hand, sellers hold our very freedom in their hands--the got our addys--so it seems fair enough...u don't want to screw your seller too badly, he might seek out revenge ha ha...but I'd hate it ever to get to the point where we couldn't give honest feedback for fear a seller might retaliate, and say we were a 'bad' buyer, and then buyers would be screwed...this is the whole dilemma ebay has gone thru, and in the end, I still don't think they've resolved it....

IMO, that just turns it into a hesaid shesaid type of issue which isnt helpful. Sellers who are responsive, professional and have accurate product info don't seem to have any issues. Quite a few sellers with 99+ rating. The only real issue I've noticed is when a buyer leaves a bad rating without contacting the seller. Any reputable vender here will go above and beyond to maintain a good standing.

Most likely say something stupid and make myself look bad.

Just be sure *not* to use any of your excellent product before responding! ;) :)
There are times when I have to remind myself that "now is not the time" to be online and reading the forums. I don't want to wake up one morning and find my computer still open to the message I posted here containing all my real life info and wishing everyone a Happy New Year in July. Noooooooooo........... :o

actually I think that would be my generic response for a 4/5.. it would just get really nasty for scores under that :)

Honestly, if a seller is on their game and product is as advertised there shouldn't be a problem. If someone leaves a bad review its up to the buyer\seller to work it out in private. Otherwise its gonna be a public yelling match which doesn't help anyone. One bad review won't kill ya and you don't have to sell to them again. They could make another account I suppose but that's another issue all together.
