Title: Does Liberte Linux not support RTL8192E wireless adatper??
Post by: rjw252 on March 31, 2012, 04:30 pm
No wireless connections in network connections.  Nothing.

iwconfig    no wireless extensions

Just wondering if someone knows more about this than me.  I tried to manually enter in bssid and mac and still nothing.

Seems odd, for a very common wireless adapter, any help would be appreciated.

It should, I have an old laptop with Realtek adaptors on it that works fine when I tested Liberte on it.
Can always drop to root shell and apt-get install firmware-realtek through your regular connection
