After reading that someones account was hacked and then purchased a custom listing adveertised by the hacker, perhaps the secondary password could also be applied before any purchases are made?
So that custom listing from the hacker cannot be purchased by the hacked account?

I like it - probably would not be difficult to implement, and it would add a bit of extra security - but if people's accounts are getting hacked because of keyloggers (don't know if this is the case or if it's just user stupidity that's the problem), then it's not going to make much difference unless the login process itself is changed to remove the need to type anything in. Of course, if you find a keylogger on your machine, you probably have worse things to worry about than your SR account. :-/

preventing account hacking:
only use the correct sr address and use a complicated unique password... shazam! not that difficult and you wont get hacked and no need to mess with the web page coding ;)

Yes, absolutely! If you're hacked by a keylogger then it won't help but in most situations it can't hurt either.
