Since Freedom Hosting went down I decided to create my own .onion hidden server.

Currently I'm working on 3 others that could possibly run up to 4 Virtual environments each (and thus 4 different .onion addresses - multiple .onion domains pointing to the same machine can cause issues, both in connectivity and security). Small machines with SSD Hard drives, forced TOR, and Always-On VPN for added security against exploits and DNS leaks.
Right now I am using a single server and .onion address via direct (not VM) TOR over VPN. It is only 16GB SSD, 1.3ghz Intel Atom, and 1024mb RAM and has very good speed, although this could be associated with Freedom Hostings demise freeing up a large amount of TOR bandwidth.

Sorry if I'm rambling technical details.

I already have a few services of mine running, as well as a community one.

The Onion Wiki is my first hidden service (additional directory protection and database protection) and can be found here - 37otxza6ovc3nq3c.onion/hidden/wiki

My two image hosting services are located below
37otxza6ovc3nq3c.onion/app/imagepro
37otxza6ovc3nq3c.onion/app/imageprov2

All my programs are open source, and their code can be found on my personal wiki under the Open Code section here - http://37otxza6ovc3nq3c.onion/wiki/index.php/Tools_and_Utilities#Source

The source for all applications can also be located on the application page itself in a link titles "Source".
Source can also be located at several File Repositories such as GitHub and SourceForge (sourceforge, however, recently included a malware loader into their downloads, so be careful).

I also have a Silk Road listing up that details my future plans, although Application Hosting services are currently available.
You can view the listing here (it's stealth) - http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/item/21cfc100b2

If you are interested, you would get a hidden service in the /hidden/ - 37otxza6ovc3nq3c.onion/hidden/vadio1

SMF is an easy install, I could have it up in 15 minutes. Backend would be MySQL, SMF only needs 1 database and is very low latency. Due to security issues I would have to disable object caching, but with a low bandwidth connection like TOR you won't notice a difference.

Ran on my server, you would be able to use advanced options on SMF unlike SR Forums, such as integrated images, inline images, and multiple attachment types.
