Post by: tramonym on March 02, 2013, 12:07 am

do you have a link?  I've never heard of tor on the iPhone.

Frankly though it is going to be more difficult to ensure your privacy using a phone.  The police love to look at smartphones and anything even suggestive is good enough for them.

I used TOR on my android and it worked just fine. But like stated already over cell airwaves and police liking to check it not really worth it. If I did not have internet though it would get the job done. But the whole secret thing of TOR on cell I dont know seems it would be way easier to trace since only connects one tower at a time and only switches as you roam. I dont know for sure and could very well be wrong

The problem isn't getting monitored over the air as much as it is that if you get stopped or searched by police for whatever reason then they love to search your cell phone.

i have no link but searching for tor on the app store gives an app costing about 2$ and saying it would be possible to open onion sites...

the point with searching the iphone for evidence is a good one...
