Post by: mybody on April 03, 2012, 12:16 am
I switched to my backup phone....no silkroad after login...blank screen. I can do everything else internet normally. Only Silkroad is blank with words above showing I'm there but not allowed to see anything.

Your ISP can't block Silkroad because you're not even using your original IP address when connecting to it. The blank screen is probably just due to a problem with your phone's OS.

as you are using a phone rather than a computer chances are you are using tor2web rather than tor itself.

if you are accessing Silk Road via tor2web (silkroadvb5piz3r.tor2web.org instead of silkroadvb5piz3r.onion) then yes - your ISP can see exactly what you are doing

Please, buy a computer.
It will be far safer than using a phone, and tor2web does nothing to protect your anonymity.

I enter same address as you. Are you saying I'm already tor2web or am switched?

I'm considering firing up the puter anyhow. I want torbutton.

From what I've read you're actually using a mobilized version of Tor (not Tor2Web) [http://www.mobileactive.org/howtos/user-guide-to-orbot]. The reason for the blank screen is probably just because Silkroad isn't optimized for mobile surfing but I'm not completely sure.
