Title: What constitutes a refund

i have only got 1 refund out of 18 orders :( i tried to fight it the best i could
bit the refund rate says 9.xx %  how the fuck can that happen?
do some cancellations count as refunds on my account info?
thanks to whoever can help me with this im a lil pissed

18 orders with a refund rate of 9% = 16.38 orders filled
sound about right to you give or take .62%?

personally I dont want a refund...If it is my very first order from a vendor and it goes missing, I will never order from the motherfucker again. Im superstitious  ;D

edit- also if the algorithm used, is the same as vendor rating algorithm there is an explanation in a few threads about that. Im no mathematician...I just nod my head and roll with it

thanks for the reply but the math i can figure out .. im trying to find out if buyer or vendor cancellations count as a refund .. coz i have only had 1 true refund.. and by the percentage i thinking they (SR) are putting me down for 2 .. wtf? i have mailed SR ofc but i dont expect a speedy reply... is there a good thread on this?

IIRC the refund rate is affected by how recent your refund was; more recent refunds lead to higher refund rates than earlier refunds. I may be wrong, though...
