Title: No will answer this question?
Post by: Heyenezz on January 22, 2012, 09:18 am
I've repeatedly tried to get Silc to work and followed the instructions to the letter here: http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=175.0;topicseen

But, pidgin keeps telling me it can't load the Silc key pair.

1. What does this mean?

2. What causes it?

3. -------------How do I fix it?

Please, if you know the answer, tell me. I desperately want to know and just can't get this to work. Any help you offered would be greatly appreciated.

hello, Heyenezz

delete your key files in C:\Documents and Settings\...\App\.silc\ if you are using pidgin, and setup everything again. Be sure the password matches the password you originally set before replacing the default keypair. If you left it blank, you'll need to leave it blank in the log in as well otherwise it'll give you this error.

hope you can follow this:)
