Title: Need some help from admin
Post by: DanDanTheIceCreamMan on September 05, 2013, 04:16 pm
I just deposited BTC to my account and it says this even though when I click on my account to look at my BTC address it is the same thing. I haven't changed it.

You have recently used an archived Bitcoin address (ADDRESS LEFT OUT) to deposit (AMOUNT LEFT OUT) BTC to your account. This address could be retired at any time. It is strongly advised that you use a new bitcoin address for future deposits.

Best regards,

Are you sure your transaction is confirmed on the network. Lookup the address on blockchain and check.

I would change you SR address after it has confirmed.

You should be using a new Bitcoin address for EVERY transaction. Use it once then get a new one immediately. The previous BTC address will still be in your SR Wallet. Once an address has been used, after a period of time it's classed as "used" and will be retired (removed) by SR.
It's vitally important to not have more than one transaction per BTC address. If you use it more than once for multiple transactions,  they could potentially link all those orders to you if you're found to have used that address.

Thank you for the knowledge. Did not know they just retire them after awhile. I guess I have my answer so thread is locked as solved.
