Would it be okay to transfer from bitfloor account to SR account? I've read you should transfer them through a few wallets first but I keep reading about people transferring directly from bitfloor. Is it safe to do it this way?

I don't think transferring to wallets does anything to hide trail. You would need a tumbler service of some sort. I used the blockchain tumbler but now it is no longer available so I just broke up my last deposit and sent it straight in with many varied amounts. I'm sure someone will tell me I did it wrong :P

In a couple of guides I've read thus far, it says that transferring to wallets is good enough but not the best so that's why i was wondering if transferring just from bitfloor to sr is good enough too lol. I may just do bitfloor--> blockchain --> sr accnt.

Yeah, I'm about to do my first bitfloor deposit. I would like that it would be safe since you can use a bs email address and no name. and they let you access it through tor.
But if anyone knows different, please spread the info.

Transferring through a couple of wallets is likely safe enough. As mentioned though, if you have the time/money for it, tumbling services are available (e.g. http://www.bitcoinfog.com/).

A tumbling service is always an option.
Personally I transfer a few times:
Bitfloor to clearnet Instawallet
Clearnet Instawallet to Torified local wallet client one time address
Torified local wallet to Tor Instawallet
Tor Instawallet to new SR address
I use a new Tor session ID so I don't use the same IP for Instawallet and SR login.
