I am pretty new to all of this. I have figured out Tor and have PGP going. This week I will be getting my bitcoins, setting up my seller account, and making my first purchases. I expect to be doing quite a few transactions (both buying and selling) on an ongoing basis.
I plan on getting a new laptop that will be dedicated for silkroad / tor for increased security. Is it worthwhile to wait until I have this new computer and then set up new accounts for everything (Silkroad, tormail, etc.) or is it generally considered safe to "carryover" these accounts?
Thanks for your help,
G

I wouldn't recommend having a laptop dedicated to shady activity on the Internet. If you really need to use a second laptop for these things, use a liveCD (such as TAILS) with it. As for settings up the accounts on your current laptop and moving it all over later; I don't see a problem with it. It's all online anyways, and nothing is (or should be, at least) stored on the physical drive.
