So I transferred a good amount of coin to another member on SR, and unknowingly sent it to the wrong member. The member I sent it to had the same name as the one I wanted to send to, only they had a space in their name.
I contacted SR support and was told they can't reverse BTC transactions, and to contact the member and ask they return the coin (which I have, no response yet).
Just curious if this has happened to others, and how it was resolved. If anyone can help me get my coin back, I'll pay you 1 BTC.

Keep PMing the member. Be really nice. If that doesn't work, you could call him out in the forums, but that's a long shot, unless he's a vendor. Hopefully someone has some better ideas, but looks like you may be out of luck unless the guy with the space in his name is super cool. If it were me, I'd send you your coin back. However, if it's an addict or an abandoned account, you're pretty much screwed. Good luck though.

I have been PMing 'em, but no response yet. I hadn't thought about it being a dead account. Hopefully it isn't.....

Easy to guess what you did here, and would be an easy mistake to make. I'm surprised I haven't done it myself. Either btcbuddy was an account set up by someone to steal coins when people made this mistake, and you're screwed, or the real BTC buddy (the GOAT) had the foresight to secure that screename in case this happened, and saved the day.
If it's the former, then an admin really should fix it so this can't happen in the future.
