I placed 2 orders. One order escrow is in BTC the other is in USD. How did one escrow end as USD.??? If the purchased does not work out will the USD be transferred back to my Silk Rod account as BTC?
Also how long it is appropriate to wait for vender to ship and see "product Shipped "instead of 'Processing"?? I have been waiting 5 days to see a change from processing to Shipped. If they remain in processing status to long I assume I can cancel order by contacting Silk Road. Is that correct.? Than you for any help.

Some vendors choose to leave money in Escrow in US dollars instead of BTC's, due to the fluctuations of the BTC on the global market. If you get a refund, it will be in BTC. A vendor has 4 days to put your orders "in transit". After 4 days and your order is still processing, you can click "cancel" yourself to cancel your order and get an immediate refund. Read the buyers guide for more info.

It sounds like one order is hedged and the other isn't.
Hedged orders show as dollars and unhedged show as bitcoins. If a hedged order doesn't work out you get back the dollar value of your order when placed, unhedged and you get back the bitcoin value you paid :)

Also, if the order is hedged you will not get back your full amount paid if the order is cancelled. You will receive the full amount minus 4% (transaction fee for turning the escrow btc to $ and then back to btc).
