23 days ago I placed an order on here (SR) for some pills
I had set the order to be delivered USPS priority, after 8 days of a no shows, I contacted the seller
And asked if s/her could provide me with ~any~ minor details of the shipment like:.
1. Was it shipped (The outer material) in a bubble wrap type of envelope (which CD/DVDs usually are)?
2. Were the return and delivery labels hand-written?
3. Were the pills wrapped tightly within aluminum foil (Actually double wrapped), so they don’t give
Off any noise like Tick Tacks)?
4. Were the materials double or triple wrapped? Meaning, the aluminum foil initial wrapping, placed
Inside a small padded envelope, sealed, and then placed in a large final shipping envelope?
5. Was there a tracking number requested?
6. To keep things as anonymous as possible, what *time zone* did the PKG ship from, as I typically get USPS priorrity mail.
Last Week he finally told me he will send a replacement PKG via USPS priority on Thursday 2001/12/01
(To a residential address I recently moved from, and still have family living there)
I have yet to get a PM listing ANY previous info I requested or yet to get a confirmation message
Indicating the replacement PKG or any information I ever requested ever. Insult tap injury
To add insult to injury, SR indicates s/he was last seen TODAY.
Is it time to call out this poor excuse for s seller, so no one else has to lose A LOT like I have?
Thanks (I'm trying to be as courteous as possible, as I've greatly appreciated every other dealing on SR)

It really depends on the seller and item terms.
What was the original time frame on the item listing before the seller accepts inquiries about item location? In case of a resend, I would allow that much time again.
Not very helpful, but I know if I have accepted the responsibility to resend a package that never arrived, annoying emails and accusations of scamming is the last thing thats going to help my business recover or stay operable.

Idk, I'd think asking for that many details in regards to packaging might put a few vendors on edge. Ya know, considering so many explicitly state in their profile that they "won't reveal packaging strategies for sake of anonymity." Not that you necessarily did anything bad by asking, but not getting a response to those questions doesn't exactly come as a huge surprise to me. I'd say just be patient and wait to see if anything arrives, if it doesn't then maybe investigate a little further.

23 days is past the auto-finalize date. Did you go to the resolution center when you received the message from SR warning you that it would auto-finalize in 5 days if you didn't do anything?
The escrow system is set up to handle packages not showing up.

The above statement is completely right. The SR system is designed to work to the benefit of both parties. USE escrow. USE the resolution center. This protects you and the other party and helps avoids conflicts like this one.
When you don't use the system the way it's designed, SR has FAR, FAR less power to help you.

It was sent via USPS Priority, and that's why I asked a *general* question of his time zone, as I usually get them in 3 from one side of the continent to the other.

I agree and was just trying to be as helpful as I'm new to SR but not this practice at all; I've at least got 13 years buying regularly.

True, and I do see exactly where you're coming from regarding the method/process of shipment. I should have just asked one question and that would have beem: 'Were the pills sealed so they would not have rattled around like candy'
