Heard good things about this exchange so i emailed them asking for deposit info to buy some coins
and got an e-mail asking me to call some fella on his mobile phone, needless to say this has sketched me out a bit, any other kiwis deal with these guys.. ?
seems much easier/cheaper than my current nzd - liberty reserve - BTC route !

Problem with bitnz.com (besides not having www.bitnz.com signed) is that there is no real world contact information. Even the whois on bitnz.com only shows dreamhost without any contact information.
What's to stop him just running off with our money?
Nothing.
I won't touch that exchange until there is a real person / company that can take liability.

BUT, that isn't to say the site isn't legit. More of a use at your own risk kinda thing, like everything else in this realm of the internet haha.
Ive used it easily 10+ times, some days it takes overnight for the Bitcoins to be put in, other times it takes 5+ days. I'm trying to find some other way of getting bitcoins, it looks sketchy buying $500 uKash vouchers. But in the end bitnz is the best option for NZ'ers for getting the most bitcoins for your money.
