As a new user with only a couple transactions under my belt I'm very curious as to the average order processing time others experience or experienced when they had very little feedback. I'm not complaining I understand that dealing isn't your typical job but I'm curious as to why some orders sit in my account for days on end. Is this a normal occurrence?

If a vendor is on his game you get your domestic packages 4 days or less unless it's USPS fault. Stick with those guys unless the product deal is great from a slow guy.

It varies greatly depending on the vendor and item you are ordering.
Digital items are generally within a few hours and max being 24 hrs.
Shipped goods region dependent take 1-2 days to process and an additional
shipping window. Depends on the speed of service, generally 2-7 day domestic and 3-10 international.

Right on, I appreciate the help. Trying to figure out whom I'm going to be a regular customer of. Makes me antsy waiting more than 48 hours for the label to change from processing to in-transit.

It's a moving target.
Location from vendor, vendor speed, postal service speed, seasonal delays etc.
All I can say is be patient. Vendors have lives and double lives. Sometimes it takes a day to get a parcel out.
It's not amazon. Most people would still use SR even if it took twice as long.
