Title: Experiences with PillowTalk

Hi Guys,

does someone has experiences with seller PillowTalk?

hi

I ordered from him a couple of days ago, he was very helpful in making me a custom order for the btc I had left and was quick in replying to pms and in shipping.

I´ll update on quality next week when it arrives.

At the moment I´d say take the risk with this new seller as he seems to be legit.

Hi Friends, Only been a member for a few weeks .I have made 2 purchases both were on same day. The one in question is with pillowtalk..Everything was done to SR criteria and about a week ago received message all good ,product sent.Since then, only because i do not want to get too far ahead of myself i was looking thru forum and of course just about all feedback bout PT is negative. Of course if you are waiting for delivery it would be unfair to pass judgement until a reasonable amt of time passes.....I am trying to stay objective  with PT, this is becoming more difficult for the following reasons.it appears as if he has split,he is not answering any of my messages, he has withdrawn all of his products. These to the norm on the street these are very negative signs. I hope this dude is OK and hope he understands that people are genuinely concerned for his well being and safety. So for heaven sake mate answer your messages and let your followers know if all is well. You seem to have a very selfish attitude mate  and for me i translate this as you being busted or you have lost the plot and are not in control.. Either of which are not good signs for your biz and for SR,regards C49

I'm in the same boat as you. Placed orders with gear2go and pillowtalk back to back, losing around 70BTC also... This is just so messed up. Who the hell can you trust if not someone with nearly 200 transactions and a 98% rating!? Fuck.

I placed an order with im 1 week before Halloween while SR was having its outages. He sent me  PM responding to my post about needing MDMA for Halloween. He gave me a bitcoin address to send directly to and I sent him my address over the forums. I got he product on Halloween. Great product, maybe he is having some issues. It will be a shame if he is gone, he had an incredibly priced product and great quality.

I ordered some mdma about 2.5 weeks ago. I got a message from PT about a week ago stating that it generallly took 5-8 days for international shipping, but it could possibly take longer than that. I still have not received my product. PT is not answering any PMs and he removed all his product. I believe I've been scammed and am out 50 bucks. I finalized early as requested for a new buyer, doh. Is there any way SR can help refund bitcoins or do I just have to eat it?

I left him a message last Saturday, it's there unopened.

His profile says "last seen today", so it appears he's lurking around.    Or not...  :(

Maybe his account was hacked?

I hope everything is fine with him.

Why why why do you go out of escrow?? Look the pattern is here they get a couple positives then its a head on free for all. Any H vendor we should never ever go out of escrow. Also if you look at the prices they are too good to be true. Thus we get wishful thinking and what if I had ordered form him and it came then I'd a had double what I have now. So for the 2nd time on a month "say no to out of escrow".

Just a thought here:

IF pillowtalk turned into a scammer, wouldn't he keep his listings to scam even more?

Not jumping to any conclusions, just thinking loudly..
Title: Re: Experiences with PillowTalk
Post by: mito on November 09, 2011, 01:04 pm
^^^ I hope the rumors are false.

He has a lot more to gain by sticking with his business here than by scamming a handful of users just to profit a few bucks.

I received my Ketamine order last week.     Process was smooth and communcation fine.

Again, I hope he's fine and that this is not what we're thinking it is.

For 2K ??? exactly - get a real job - it took him what a month + to get to this point.

Surely the risk of pissing everybody here off is not worth 2k. You could sell your a profile for something like that surely.

Maybe there's a whole temptation thing - addiction to risk wants to see how far he can push it and if he can get away with it. Its about the scam not the cash.

OR hes just sent a whole bunch of gear and thinks he better lay low for awhile until orders arrive ??

Anyways too much psychology for one day. Cbf'd thinking about it good luck to the guy hope it works out for him.

If his account was hacked, I'm sure he would've posted it on the forums.

Something weird is going on here..
Hope he's okay though

I hope he's okay too and doing something fun with all those BTC's he let himself pay upfront for orders that were and will never be shipped.

And for newbee SR buyers: build up your account with transactions from vendors who are willing to respect the Escrow.  Finalizing upfront means giving up every possibilty to ever see your BTC's back.

its been 13 business days and still no package.  however i have a feeling he really did send it..
I wonder if id have better luck buying from germany?
the only positive thing is i can stay in escrow now because i have two transactions under my belt.
although i havent got anything yet. :( 120.00 USD possibly down the drain, but im willing to give SR another shot. I hope for mine, and pillowtalks sake that the package comes.

Although I am relatively new to SR, I have been leery of Pillowtalk from the start.

Never finalize early for a relatively new vendor! His feedback was such a red flag, he had maybe 15 actually positive reviews and then dozens and dozens "finalizing early per request"!!! Weeks ago I could have told you all those people were probably gonna get burn.

As someone already pointed out, if you're a new buyer on SR, buy from a *very* trusted vendor (i.e. trusted seller for many months with 100s of actual positive feedback), or from one that won't require you to finalize early.

Ignore this ignorant banter. You must be new here because its clear you don't know shit about selling and how it works. There are lots of people who will make a new account and buy products, then after they receive the product they will claim they never got it just to get their money back. Many sellers as well as my self do not bother with delivery confirmation. If a brand new buyer disputes the transaction you will lose 50% or 100% of it. I wont sell to new buyers unless they finalize early. I as well as many other people actually received product from pillowtalk and it was excellent quality. I went out of escrow with him and sent the coins to a random btc address that he specified(during the SR outage) and I got my package. A good practice before you buy something would be to shoot the vendor a pm so that you know he is around. So many things could have happened that could be holding him up. Maybe he is into some trouble but he didn't turn into a scammer. Plus if he was scamming people he would have left his listings up and continued to cash in from all the buyers who dont visit the forums.

Doesn't pillowtalk ship from belgium? Maybe you guys can work out a deal where you throw him a few more bitcoins and he can reship from belgium. Possibly to a different address or something?

Good luck man I hope for the best!

Well, at this point I'm accepting the loss and I placed a new order with another vendor. I guess newbies gotta learn the hard way sometimes. at least I know from now on to get a better idea on how to read into feedback on SR. And I know from now on I would be more than willing to shell out a few extra bitcoins for an established and trusted vendor. Also, I now see the danger of finalizing early, but I can understand why high volume vendors that ship internationally would not want their bitcoins tied up for 2 weeks. So I guess from now on I have to consider finalizing early on a vendor by vendor basis. Domestic should never need it, but I would still be willing for a very trusted overseas vendor who is known to help out his customers if the package doesn't make it even if the customer finalizes early. I wish you all the best on your future purchases!

Seems his seller account is totally gone now.  I hope he decided to scam, rather than got busted.  But I didn't have much money on the line - just a small package coming to my address that I would rather not be in the hands of authorities.   I do hope he is ok though - he seemed like a good guy in our conversations.  Chalk one up to the n00b learning experience...

Unfortunately, in order to be good at what they do, the best scammers seem like the nicest people, however are merely exceptional social engineers. Luckily Mt.Gox was messing up and my BTC were stuck in cyberspace, or I would've been a victim as well; his cheap MDMA and shipping out of Belgium was very enticing. Sorry to those of you who lost BTC..However, as scammers fall, the tried and true sellers continue to demonstrate their commitment to the game. Unless you have the cash to blow, I'd suggest dealing with vendors who have been around for several months. Even ordering from a hotspot like The Netherlands seems to be a safer bet than ordering from a new seller these days.

After seeing so many scam posts in the forums and in feedback it seems that yes, large orders you get for cheaper prices, BUT, the extra price you pay for small orders is almost insurance in case somehting goes wrong.

Just my observation.

Exactly the H trade here screams if it seems too good to be true then it is. If a seller can sell for what others are selling it for why wouldn't they you know?
Title: Re: Experiences with PillowTalk

I figured since I am in the minority here I will pipe in with my experience. I had talked with PillowTalk a bunch before I ordered from him. I was looking at ordering a few substances and we discussed prices and stuff. He wanted to do it all out of escrow which sounded great at first but just as we were about to settle I had cold feet and decided I would rather go through SR. So I messaged him saying I was calling it off and that I would just order 2g's of Molly through his awesome listing.

Sure enough I ordered it, got no response for a couple days, then about four days later he messaged me asking to finalize the order early. It was in his original terms since I was a new buyer, but I figured I wouldn't finalize until he told me to. So I finalized and waited. The next day I get a lovely package with my drugs and I'm quite happy. I ended up testing it that weekend and it was the bomb. Best M I have ever tried.

200 mg had me rolling like a half of the stuff I get around here.

So it's a huge shame if he is truly scamming people as I was already looking to place another order. Hopefully it all gets sorted out, but until then I'm definitely keeping cautious. He seemed like a super nice guy, but I'm a bit worried now.

this makes so much sense to me.... absofuckinglutley. well said. any number of things could happen to any vendor, there's no reason to believe any of them will be around in the next hour. sending 300-400$ to anyone, even with a stellar rating and 6 months of good history is a huge gamble that i couldn't imagine taking... you just never know....
