Title: Staying logged in to SR all day: security risk?
Post by: BashfulBetty on August 14, 2011, 06:09 pm
I like to check for messages and orders every couple of hours.  Is there a security risk inherent in staying logged on for extended periods of time?  I mean besides the risk of being logged on when the cops come crashing through the door.

None that I can think of.  But you might want to tell Tor to use a new route (e.g., Vidalia's "New Identity" function) once in a while, just to be certain you're using different routes over time.
