Title: Help!1st timer Newbie trying to transfer BTC

Id be grateful if anyone could help me here....i bought some BTC,all went ok,they landed in my wallet at an online btc vendor[well known],and in the 'Send to' box i put the code that comes up on SR  when u click 'make a deposit'-that was going on half hour ago but nothings registered......Did i do anything wrong :-\?or am i jumping the gun?any help id be very,very grateful for!!

It says on the SR page right under your deposit address that sometimes it can take a few hours to transfer. I don't use wallets but you can check your transactions on blockchain.info to see what the status is.

I know it's not best practice, but this is exactly why I just transfer my BTC straight to my SR account.

You're fine Sensiaddict.  Don't check if it's there when you next have the urge.  Then don't check one more time.  Then check again, and it will be there.  Promise.

LOL Lola,your bang on there-stop watching ::)!!please just put it down to me being an impatient bugger,and thanks so much guys for the Answers-all is kool with a capital K now,BTC thru and order made,job done

Indeed, one day it will happen in less than an hour and others it can take up to 12 hours. Generally I've read that you can contact SR Support if it doesn't arrive within 12-24 hours, but honestly just be patient and they will more than likely appear.
