so far i have figured out how to import/export keys and encrypt/decrypt things...
but my problem is i am not to sure how to provide my shipping address to the seller. i tried writing it in a .txt file then encrypting it using the sellers public key out of the drop down menu it gives me.
but what results is a .gpg file. do i email this file to the seller or am i going about this completely wrong
i have a sneaking suspicion that this is a very dumb question so im sorry in advance
p.s. i have tried looking it up else wheres but im not finding any clear answers.

Ok, I recently figured this out.
1) copy and save the desired vendors key
2) write your message in text edit, and highlight it, then choose services and encrypt
3) choose your key, it's the one that looks like it's priv but is your public.
4) highlight and copy that text and then send using the key that you imported just paste the whole thing in the address box
Does that make sense? Let me know if I can help further!

things get hazy around step 2. i have a .txt file with the name and address, i right click and i click "Services>OpenPGP: encrypt file"
then it gives me a drop menu which has all the people on my keychain, i select the one whose public key im using then it also asks me to
select my secret key. a .gpg file of the same name pops up. i do not know what to do at this point.
i have seen screen shots and in the address portion they a public key string of numbers which i am not getting.
or do i send them my public key?
